We are near the end of February and what a week it has been! Weekly Reading February 26th.

Jenny Heston · 2:00 pm ·

Happy glorious Monday delicious one.  How has your week been?  Do you realise that in a week we will be in March (thank goodness, as that means Spring is going to be here soon).  I will be honest, this was a really tough reading to do.  It’s been a heck of a week here, my gorgeous gal and most favourite dog – Uma went to sleep on Friday.  So the week has been a rollercoaster of emotions everything from tears, hope, deep sadness and anger – big anger.  I noticed on Monday she wasn’t her usual self and took her to the Vet’s on Wednesday to find out she had bone marrow cancer and then on Friday she looked at me and literally asked to go.  So incredibly hard.  Sometimes I hate being a grownup!

On Saturday I had to attend a meeting at the Legion and it took everything for me to keep it together, to stay prickly enough that people wouldn’t come near me and ask me dumb questions (as I felt very inclined to advise them of their stupidity – I know, not kind, but I wasn’t feeling kind).  I was feeling deeply sad and wounded.  I did really well and just stayed quiet, took the minutes and was counting the time until I could bolt and then someone walked up with a service dog.  I literally bit the inside of my cheek and dug my nails into my palms whilst looking at anything other than that dog until the meeting was done and then – well all bets were off.  I bolted out the door and the tears came hot and fast.  When I got home I realised that I needed to write, to write to my gorgeous gal, to write to the pain and the loss and this whirlwind week, so I did.  I wrote an Ode to my gorgeous gal.  Interesting to see that the weather has been reflecting my mood, it’s grey out there with continual snow and blowing winds – bleak.  But I know Spring will come, the snow will stop, the sun will shine and these waves of overwhelming emotion will gradually get further and further apart.

I thought the Rumi deck, or the Wild Kuan Yin would be the ones that wanted to come play, however, they weren’t.  It is The Divine Circus which did make me laugh a bit “May your rebel heart always be bold.  May your spirit always be free.”  The crystals that wanted to come play are:-  Amethyst, Aragonite, Smoky Quartz.

So with all that being said, I invite you to gently close your eyes down and take a glorious deep breath in, nice and slow through your nose and then a lovely sigh like exhale through your mouth.  Keep breathing in this way and see at your heart centre a glorious ball of warm light.  Envision this ball of light moving down your body and going out the soles of your feet, down, down, down into the gorgeous molten core of the earth.  Feel it click into the gorgeous grounding earth energy and then move itself back up and through your lovely body and out the top of your head.  As it moves up, up, up it expands completely around you so that you are standing in the middle of this lovely warm light and feel, as it expands out into the Universe, feel it click into the universal energy – the realm of infinite possibilities.  Now that you are connected to earth and Divine, your ball of light moves slowly back to your heart space and gently sits there, nurturing, guiding, healing and loving.  With this energy surrounding you, in you and through you, gently open your eyes and trust yourself as you pick the card or cards that call to you.

Ready to go see?

SWEETHEART

You’ve know violence in your life; maybe on the outside, maybe on the inside with a mind that has tortured you with fear, shame, darkness and doubt. Enough of that now.  It is time for a gentler way – less pain, more gain.  No more torture.  It’s your time for sweets and treats.

There is so much violence in the world, and in our own minds, that we can assume this is just the way of the world, that we have to accept it, deal with it, and thereby forget we have the right to question it and even change it, if we so choose.  Even the most ambitious desires for healing the world start with us as individuals.  We cannot bring more peace to the world if there is violence in our hearts.  Regrets, shaming judgements, fear of not being good enough, uncertainty and constant pushing to become more, to do more, to have more, can become the energetic equivalent of beating ourselves up every day.  This creates invisible bruises that never have time to heal because we don’t give ourselves the sweetness, kindness and compassion we need to break free from the abusive cycle.

This cycle you are coming to is sweeter, one that is more loving, one that promises new life.  But you have to be willing to dispense with the violence, one step at a time.  You deserve to give yourself a gentler life journey.  Would you accept this for yourself?  If there are abusive or toxic relationships in your life, then you’ll need to do some relationship overhauling.  No matter how much the people involved may proclaim their love, if underneath it is unhealthy, if a relationship is holding you back rather than helping to lift you up, then reconsider its place in your life.

You can’t taste the sweetness that life wants to bring to you if you are crammed full of stuff you don’t need or want anymore.  Create some space. Ready yourself for receiving life’s nectar and believe in the power of your new beginning.  You are a true sweetheart of the universe.  Let yourself be treated accordingly.

CONFETTI

You will soon have cause for celebration.  Whether a big win or a token gain affirming that the best is yet to come, sweet success is headed your way.  Prepare to celebrate!  It’s time to find the celebratory spirit within.  Maybe you already feel it, or maybe it’s the last thing in the world you can imagine feeling right now, but whether it’s on your radar or not, a cause for celebration is imminent.

It’s time to spend your energy in playfulness.  If you want more success, happiness and celebration in your life, you can enhance that right now by being happy for the success of others around you.  Do you know that success is like a wave?  When you genuinely congratulate another and feel happy for their happiness, your own energy field gets a jolt of that same energy.  You attract it into your own life.  You deserve success for all you are and all you’ve accomplished just as much as anyone else.

So be happy for another – even if a part of you wonders if there is enough to go around, if maybe they have taken your piece of the pie, or if you wonder if their success is really served.  Let such thoughts be without adding to their power for thinking such a way.  Just take charge and choose how you want to respond.  Be happy for them and be happy for you as the universe is giving  you notice of a party – and you are most definitely meant to attend – and it’s heading your way.

DEATH SHALL NOT TAKE HIM

You are going to witness the impossible made possible.  Whatever you think is lost, is not.  Whatever you think cannot be, shall be.  The universe is going to intervene and what seems to be over, shall in a new way, live again.

Sometimes, just when you think it’s all over, the eleventh hour comes.  You can practically hear the opening chords of your swan song, and when you have finally given up, suddenly, somehow, right before your eyes, everything changes – just like that.  You were free-falling and then, suddenly, you are soaring.  Fate steps in, destinies are altered and life demonstrates its creative, restorative power, even if all seemed lost.

No matter how defeated you feel, no matter how many dead ends you’ve encountered, how many setbacks, how many failures, no matter how impossible success may seem, the universe has your back and is going to right things in your favour.  You will succeed.  So if you really must (sigh) doubt for one more moment – go ahead, then replace doubt with trust and participate in the divine defiance of life refusing to be stepped on or crushed.  Why not just frigging relax and bear witness to the universe’s impressive display of life-giving power with reverence and delight?  Gorgeous one – get out of your own way!

Wishing you a glorious week where you treasure every moment, laugh as often as possible, tell the people and animals in your life how much you love them and remember that everything is transitory – so celebrate everything!  My lovely sister sent me a blessing this weekend that is absolutely beautiful and an amazing reminder that life is good, life is love and there is always someone there to hold us, help us dust off our dirty knees and to remind us that this too will pass.  The blessing is called Beannacht by John O’Donohue and starts off with –

On the day when
The weight deadens
On your shoulders
And you stumble,
May the clay dance
To balance you.

Beannacht

Jenny Heston · 5:26 pm ·

On the day when
The weight deadens
On your shoulders
And you stumble,
May the clay dance
To balance you.

And when your eyes
Freeze behind
The grey window
And the ghost of loss
Gets into you,
May a flock of colours,
Indigo, red, green
And azure blue,
Come to awaken in you
A meadow of delight.

When the canvas frays
In the currach of thought
And a stain of ocean
Blackens beneath you,
May there come across the waters
A path of yellow moonlight
To bring you safely home.

May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
May the clarity of light be yours,
May the fluency of the ocean be yours,
May the protection of the ancestors be yours.

And so may a slow
Wind work these words
Of love around you,
An invisible cloak
To mind your life.

Ode to My Gorgeous Gal – R.I.P Uma

Jenny Heston · 4:41 pm ·

Uma, my gorgeous gal, the one that has walked so many different paths with me and has always been there, the dog of my heart.  I got her as a rescue dog and drove to Trail to bring her and the whole litter home to foster them. 13 years ago I had lost my golden lab Maia to mouth cancer and my black lab Rudolph was bereft, he had never been alone, he had always had Maia.  Thus, I thought it was a great plan to foster some puppies to see if that helped him.  He hated them, actually he hated all of them except Uma.  So the others found their forever homes somewhere else and Uma came to our forever home.

She was such a brilliant dog, sharp, bright and so incredibly loving without being a slobbery git.  She came camping, travelling, exploring and fairly much anywhere I could take her.  In the woods she was always the one that stayed close whilst the male dogs cavorted amongst the trees.  She was the one that the minute she heard me go to bed, I could hear her on the stairs flumping down after me to hop up on the bed and curl up on the bottom left hand corner.  When I went to Victoria to help Dee (my mother), she kept me sane – when Dee would kick off Uma and I would walk and I would chant.  One day between the myriad of walks I realised we had done 25 km.  She has flown with me, hiked with me and when I haven’t been feeling well she was always there on the corner of the bed looking at me and checking in.

In the mornings I would get up and go to the kitchen and the minute she heard the toaster pop down and the frying pan go on, voila up she would get to hang out and see if there were any scraps going.

So it’s been a heck of a week.  A week ago today was Chinese New Year, where we entered the Year of the Male Earth Dog.  We had a glorious celebration and Uma and the other two bounded around excited to see all the people and snag some tidbits of beef, lemon chicken or salmon.  Saturday as it started to snow and snow and snow some more we went for a glorious walk and as usual she explored but always came back to check in with me and then dash off to cavort with the other dogs.

On Monday even though it was chilly, the sky was blue and the sun bright and brilliant – quite a gorgeous day so I rejigged my schedule so I could take the doggos out for a glorious romp with my friend Christine and her dog.  There was so much snowy expanse to run, play and frolic – as well as trees to dash behind and hide whilst waiting for another dog to run by, but she didn’t play.  The others all did, but she didn’t cavort, she stayed right to my heel and seemed to be slower and the walk not so enjoyable for her.  By Monday night I knew she wasn’t feeling well.

Tuesday, she was worse, stairs were becoming a problem and she wouldn’t eat (which was highly unusual for her).  Wednesday it was even more prevalent and she would look at me with eyes that saw but didn’t really, and large strings of drool hanging from her mouth.  I also noticed the two other male dogs were exceptionally gentle around her and they would cry, which they never do.  In my head she was going to be fine, it was all good and it would be something simple.  So off to the vet we went.  First diagnosis was Pneumonia.  Sweet!  We can deal with that right?  Some antibiotics, rest, lots of water and she will be right as rain and ready for another glorious adventure.

The vet ran blood tests and did a chest x-ray and you know there is something more when the Vet goes out to get a chair so she can sit next to you. Well the blood tests didn’t come out well, she had no white blood cells and a massive secondary infection.

Fuck, fuck, fuck.  There were two things, either she had a tick borne virus or it was bone marrow cancer.  The first one could be dealt with by antibiotics, the other one – nadda.  Another test was run to see if it was tick borne, and whilst that was happening I walked in the wind and the bleak grey cold along the dog beach looking at all the other dogs and allowing tears to freeze on my cheeks.  Come on Jen, think positive, it’s all going to be good.  Back to the Vets and nope, not a tick borne virus – bone marrow cancer.  However, give her antibiotics will deal with the secondary infection and she can rally and you have another year.  FUCK!

I took my gorgeous girl home, snuggled her, cried and told her how much she was loved.  My heart felt so incredibly sad and heavy.  The next day I cleared my schedule and hung out with her, I poached chicken, baked salmon – cooked beef liver to try to entice her to eat.  Nadda.  My gorgeous girl normally would follow me around the house when I was home and she tried valiantly – but she couldn’t.  She fell down the stairs, she would stand and wobble and look at me and I kept whispering to her “You are so loved, you are the bestest dog ever and if you need to leave I will miss you like a piece of my being has been taken, if you can rally – I would love that to pieces.”

That night I wrapped her in a gorgeous clean blankie, just for her and took her to bed.  As I watched her I wondered if she would be there in the morning, and guess what?  She was!

I was so excited!!!  She’s going to be okay!  More antibiotics down her throat (which she hated) and I had to go meet with clients and do some work, so my son stayed with her as I didn’t want her to be alone at all.  When I got home in the early afternoon I bounded up the stairs looking for her, she was lying next to the water dish in the kitchen and it took all her energy to lift up her head and look at me.  My legs melted and I sat on the floor next to her and sobbed.  Uma, Puma – you need to go don’t you?  Fuck!  I have to be the adult and make that choice for you.  Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!

2pm the Vet was phoned.  3:30 found my son and I walking into the vets with her wrapped up in her special blankie.  Multiple visits from various technicians trying to amp up the price – for just a little more you can do this……  Seriously people, you have had over $1,000 in 2 days, can you please back away?  We stroked her, told her gorgeous stories as the first sleepy injection went in.  I took her collar off and told her she was free to leave, that it was okay – she had been such an amazing protector and friend, but it was okay to rest and release.  The second injection went in and at 3:59 she passed. I stroked her and then she coughed and expelled air.  But Uma was gone, it was just the body expelling air, which she did 3 times.  Have to say scared the heck out of me at first.

As the ground is frozen solid here there is no where to bury her, so I had to leave her behind to be cremated.  But as I watched her head loll I knew she wasn’t here anymore. I got home and sat.  Just kind of numb and bleak and then randomly there was a moth.  Ummm, excuse me, it’s a bazillion degrees cold outside, how the heck did you get here.  It kept bopping around my head and part of me wanted to crush it between my palms.  But hang on, moths and butterflies are all about transformation.  Hmmmm, so I let her dance around me for a while and then after an hour or so, she just seemed to vanish.  Was that Uma coming to say goodbye and that she was safe?  I don’t know, but it did make me feel good.

Do I feel her here?  You bet.  Was last night tough to not see her on the left corner of the bed – hell yes.  This morning when I went outside with my tea and the toaster had been popped down I could hear scratching at the door, so I opened it and a ghost came out.  Five days, I wasn’t ready for this to be honest.

This is a day of possibilities – Weekly Reading February 19th.

Jenny Heston · 2:00 pm ·

Hello, hello, hello delicious lovely.  How are you?  Did you celebrate last week?  We did!  Valentine’s (leaving random love notes everywhere).  New Moon wishes and then had a house full and a ladened table of homemade Chinese food on Friday to ring in the year of the Dog!  It was such great fun, and so much amazing food and then topped off by playing a fabulous game called “Telestrations”.  If you have never played it I highly recommend it, it’s kind of like Telephone meets Pictionary, but far more twisted!

I was very disappointed this weekend as early in the week with the weather being mild, I was almost convinced Spring was around the corner and then it changed.  It started snowing, and it snowed, and snowed and then snowed more and just kept on frigging snowing!  Then it was great fun to have the temperature drop and the wind pick up to 50km an hour.  So a good chunk of the weekend was spent with no power, heat or any means of making a cuppa tea!  (That is positively sacrilegious!) My daughter went over a steep bank in her car due to the ice and all the snow and was trapped upside down in her car for a while.  Needless to say she was very shaken up, but a good dosing of Gaba, Rescue Remedy and a warm blankie and she is doing much better today.  We still have to sort out how to get the car from  it’s precarious position balanced on a tree and embedded in the snow, but that can wait a little bit.

Anyhow, enough of my grumbles about the weather – I can’t change it so I need to find ways of appreciating it, hence we are having a gorgeous roast beast and yorkshire puddings for supper tonight.  Nom, nom, nom.  The perfect meal for this type of weather.

Even though there are no huge celebrations happening today all sorts of wonderful things have happened on this day in the past.  For example in 1878 Thomas Edison received his patent for his gramophone (and all of a sudden we had music).  Handel’s Alexanders Feast premiered and in 1949 the 1st Bollingen Prize for poetry was awarded to Ezra Pound!  So even though this might feel like a ‘meh’ day, it’s not – the possibilities are endless.

The deck that was most insistent on coming to play was The Sacred Rebel Oracle, which is a perfect deck for today as it’s all about creating a marvellous life and world filled with love.  The crystals that insisted on coming to join in are Fire Agate, Rhodonite and Amethyst and of course Selenite to amplify and cleanse.

This week there is no guided visualisation, as I had a corker of a cold and it left me with a very, very deep husky voice (albeit with a British accent), the perfect voice for 1-900 calls I must say lol.  So take a moment to just wiggle your toes and put your feet flat on the floor.  Breathe all the air out of your lungs and then take a glorious deep breathe in through your nose, hold for 4 and then sigh it out your mouth.  Repeat this a few times whilst you gently roll your shoulders up back and down and let them gently fall like wings down along your spine.

In keeping with this month’s theme of UNFOLDING, ask for guidance or support as to what you need to know or be aware of to encourage more UNFOLDING in your life.  When you feel ready pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

Ready?

Let’s go take a look then shall we?

GOING BEYOND NORMAL

On the path of life there are deciding moments where we can choose to go with the mainstream or we can dare to take a bolder, more authentic and trusting way – even if it seems riskier or less safe.  To rely solely on logic and science, without incorporating the mysterious and magical is a recipe for an existence that is far too dry!  The sacred rebel within our hearts will always choose a juicer approach to life.  You are currently approaching such a choice point.  You could say that the choice is about balance.  It is lss about choosing to honour either art or science, gardening or architecture, and more about integrating all approaches so that you enhance rather than hinder your life journey.

There is a time and a place for logic, strategy, planning and measurable outcomes.  These are not bad tools to have but we must be vigilant not to worship them or allow them to quash or less rational, but equally valuable decision-making tools: intuition, feelings and those things you know, without knowing how you know them!  The flowing, inspirational energy of the heart may have no conceivable basis in logic or reason and still be uncannily accurate.  To remain rebellious we must not sacrifice the art of emotion, instinct, passion and intuition, for the science of logic and strict planning!

You are being asked to stay open to the intuitive approach in your life, your work, your creativity as well as in your spiritual journey.  The intuitive approach can be likened to the method of a gardener or an artist.  There is a sense of what might work where and a loose or even a detailed plan, but how the plan is carried out will depend on and respond to the flow off its surroundings.  There is no need to control the situation but rather a desire to nurture an idea to fruition.

You are moving outside of the plan!   You are living on the border of what is socially accepted.  This is good.  This is fringe-dwelling freedom.  Others might not see this about you straight away as you seem pretty normal but that secret eccentric streak is just waiting to show itself.  And, maybe you are an out and proud fringe dweller, completely comfortable with this way of being.  Either way, you have a chance to live from the heart more deeply and expressively than ever before.  You need to realise that this is a legitimate, empowered and creative way to live that honours all of who you are.  You can give up forcing or squashing yourself down into a very limited set of so called desirable qualities like intellect and control.  It’s time to get a bit wild and let nature take its course.

DIVING FOR LIGHT

How brave you are!  You are diving for light.  It’s easier to look for light in the heavenly and sweet than to look for the light in that which is dark.  This is an advanced task that only a rebellious and brave heart will attempt.

You may not feel that you have taken such a journey by choice.  Yet you have taken this wise challenge on from deep within your soul.

This oracle speaks of a time when you are called into darkness through life circumstances, situations, relationship challenges or inner struggles that you don’t understand.  That darkness may be a creative  block, a sense of being in a void or feelings of depression, rage, sadness, fear or anxiety.  There may or may not be an obvious cause.  The darkness might be generally accepted and socially acknowledged because there is a socially acceptable or obvious reason for it.  However, there may be no obvious justification for your experience of darkness.  Just know that you are actually on track and right where you need to be.

Our creative process and our spiritual path go through  similar turning of the wheel process.  You need to be alert to sabotage and criticism.  Don’t carry other people’s fear for them.  Stay in your heart.  Will you stay in your heart or will you be seduced by darkness and overcome by anger or sleepiness.  This is a spiritual test and a threshold for all true creative work.  Stay connected to your heart, all will be well.

COME TO LIFE

You’re the most sacred of all sacred artworks.  You are bringing yourself to life now and this is how it must be.  Of course something being essential doesn’t mean it will always be easy.  You must support yourself and have courage during this process.  Your monkey mind is not to run the show.  It might have a lot to say and at times it seems very convincing, but it is not the one in charge.  Your mind can inspire you with ides.  However, it is the real you that speaks through your rebellious sacred heart and is living your life, not the monkey mind.  The mind is not much more than a swirling cacophony of habitual reactions.

Beneath habitual thoughts there is a deep sensual, creative and energetic awakening happening to you.  It is so far beyond what the mind is now capable of controlling.  Others might not like it because it shakes things up – coming to life tends to do that.  However, it is happening now and the only real choice you have to make is how to deal with it.

Coming to life means feeling.  It might bring joy but it could equally bring sadness, rage or fear.  It could bring all of these and more.  Feelings will come and go quite swiftly when allowed to flow.  You might need to paint, write, enact ritual, sing or dance your feelings to help the energy flow.  Don’t hold back.  Create the space for  yourself to do it.  In this process you are uncovering the artistry of the universal creator.  You are honouring the sacredness of life by exploring it without restraint and that includes the flow of your feelings.

Don’t imagine you can go back to sleep.  You are too awake for that now.  There is no falling back into old ways.  There is another adventure awaiting you now.

Wow, I loved those cards!  So delicious one wishing you a stupendous week, remember to stay warm and cosy and take time everyday to do something, no matter how small, just for you, whether it’s lighting a candle in the evening and just taking 10 minutes, or having a glorious soak in a bath filled with essential oils.  Here’s to warm fuzzy soxs, large cups of tea and good books!  See you next week.

It’s Valentine’s, New Moon with a Partial Solar Eclipse and Chinese New Year – Whoot! What a week!

Jenny Heston · 2:00 pm ·

Holy hannah honey – there are so many celebrations this week, I love it!

We had a celebration this week for the youngest monster who turned 7 on Saturday.  When asked what he would like for his birthday, his response was Crystals.  Ummmm, what???  (Keeping in mind this little monster will line up all my crystals, talk to them, stuff them in his pockets and take them to school!)  Hmmm, okay.  “Yes, yes, I would like crystals and the Lego Avengers game for the PS3.”  So that’s what he got!  We had so much fun shopping for crystals together and it was so, so very cool to watch him touch them all, hold them in his hand and either keep it or put it down and move onto another one.  By the time he was done he had quite a glorious collection.  However, let’s talk about the more global celebrations that are happening this upcoming week.

First one is Valentine’s Day on Wednesday (or Single Appreciation Day).  When the kids were little, little, I would make Valentines bags and stuff them with jokes, riddles and cool sweeties.  For example, what did the stamp say to the envelope?  “Stick with me and we will go places.”  Snort, chortle, chortle.  Now as they are getting bigger, we create heart shaped food and make love notes that are left randomly all over town.  Public washrooms, the odd mailbox, a bus bench, a windshield – you name it, just little reminders for people to find at those odd moments and be reminded that they are loved and never alone.

Second celebration is the New Moon in Aquarius and a partial Solar Eclipse (such yummy energy happening with this one), on Thursday.  If you want to learn how to tap into this delicious energy and practice a little ritual around New Moon to get clear on intentions and wishes (one that can also include kids, partners etc.) I have you covered right here.

Now the delightful Third one is Chinese New Year!  This is the time we come out of the Fire Rooster energy and enter the Year of the Male Earth Dog. Calmer, more about community, loyalty – think about a dog, what are they like?  Playful, loyal, soothing, protective, pack driven (thus community) etc. There is tons of stuff out there about how this year is going to play out so I leave  you to explore that.

On Chinese New Year our family creates a feast!  There are all sorts of dishes from ginger beef to gyozas, spring rolls to fried rice, chow mein to peking duck – you name it!  The house is cleaned and cleared, there is a bowl of oranges on the table and everyone who comes to the glorious feast receives a small red envelope with a coin in it (a sign of good fortune).  Games are played and the conversation is one of joy, ease, celebration and laughter.  (In case you didn’t know, I love celebration – gathering together of wonderful people, sharing food, laughing, playing games, being grateful and just appreciating life to the fullest at that nano second in time).

Thus, if you were to pick one celebration this week, which would it be and how would you celebrate it?

Interesting to see that the deck that was a tad rude on their insistence of being front and centre is The Wild Kuan Yin Oracle.  I love this deck and I’m not surprised at all that they insisted on coming out to play.  Even the dedication is delicious.  “This deck is dedicated to the wild ones – those with a spirit that longs to be free and a heart that must love with great passion – who year to bring beautiful visions to life.  May you always trust the divine wild child within you, for you are one of the new humanity awakening, ensuring that life upon this planet flourishes with love, kindness and radical optimism.  May the guidance, blessings and enlightenment of Wild Kuan Yin touch your heart.  “

The crystals that were very clear it was their time to shine are:-  Moonstone (Since earliest times, Moonstone has been a tangible connection to the magic of the moon – an amulet of protection for travelers, a gift of lovers for passion, a channel for prophecy, and a path to wisdom. Our ties to the moon are strong.), Morganite (Carries a very powerful vibration of Divine Love, providing one with compassion and unconditional acceptance of one’s self) and last but not least Black Moonstone (A powerful connection to the Divine Feminine, lined to the Black Madonna, or the Magdalene, helpful to the over sensitive by filtering energetic information from other people).  Wow!  Perfect crystals for this time of year!

So let’s take a moment.  Get still and breathe out, a big exhale out your mouth and feel the air leave your lungs.  Then breathe in through your nose nice and deep and feel all the corners of your lungs and belly expand and then breathe out as a delicious sigh.  If you want a tad more help on just BEING and getting CENTRED, there’s an easy visualisation for you to do.  A lovely one where we go play with fire and water.

So are you ready?  Did you pick?

With this glorious week UNFOLDING let’s go have a look shall we?

BE LED BY THE PATH BEFORE YOU

You may question whether you are walking your true life path, in alignment with your divine destiny.  Perhaps you have a choice to make and are uncertain s to which decision will be the right one for you.  Perhaps you are wishing there were more choices available to you, that there only seems to be one path before you now and yet you are not convinced that it is the right path for you.  Fear not.  There is no mistake here.  Trust in your unfolding life journey, for the path before you is one that I have blessed.  Even if you sometimes lack confidence to trust in the path that you are upon, know this – you cannot miss your true path, or your divine destiny.

You are on your path.  You are right in your sense that there is a greater purpose calling you forwards.  Do not fall into the trap of imagining there is some other way to get there however.  You have not made some error simply because your life doesn’t necessarily look or feel the way you imagined it would at this point.  This too shall change in due course as your path curves ahead.  Your life situation each day is like a breadcrumb dropped by the Divine, guiding you towards your destiny.  You get to choose how you respond to that breadcrumb – happily gobble it up and continue on your way, or ignore it and try to venture off elsewhere out of anxiety or doubt.

Don’t make things more complicated than they need to be.  Don’t rush in out of fear or panic to try and sort out an issue.  Be patient and allow it to unfold.  The universe knows what you are in need of, and the Divine Mother is with you always, giving birth, through you, to the fullness of your destiny.  Take pause when needs be and rest.  Then take the next step.  Trust.

GRANDMOTHER DRAGONFLY HOLDS THE WISDOM

Sometimes there is benefit in focusing on the new, seeking out untried paths, developing untapped resources and exploring possibilities.  The intoxication of hope, inspiration and optimism combined can be hard to resist.  However, if fear, boredom or lack of commitment is beneath the quest for new adventures, if we are believing that what we need or want is always just beyond, we may be dissuaded from applying ourselves to the worth tasks before us right now.  If we are an imaginative and visionary type of personality, we may rebel against the mundane tasks of applying ourselves daily to bring an idea to life.  However, if we were to stop and look clearly at what we already have in our lives, we could realise that there is much of value waiting to be put to use.

Do not step away from what you are cultivating, even if it seems to have lost its steam, run out of energy or be utterly dead in the water!  There is something within what you have been working on that is going to yield something of great benefit.  There will be much more success, prosperity, happiness and maturing of your ultimate life goals and journey in tending to what is already further along in development than in something new.  Grandmother Dragonfly offers you vision that is wide and unlimited by preconceptions.  You may need to look differently at what you have nurtured and how to tap into what it has become to be able to share it with others and allow its sustaining grace to nourish human life in its own way. You will help people in many and varied ways.  It is all a part of your  natural development and you can trust in it.  There is no need for you to ever be impatient or doubting of this.

BLESSINGS OF THE KITE DANCER

I recognise immense potential and talent within you, beyond what you can see for yourself.  I know that you are willing to develop into all that you are, and so I shall become your divine mentor.  I will encourage and guide you, as you manifest your potential, develop and express your talents and fulfil your divine destiny.  Sometimes I will evoke the best in you through opportunity, sometimes I will coax forth the best in you through challenge.  What you can be assured of is success on this path of self-development.  Life has offered you much natural ability and talent.  I will help you discover and develop it so that you can offer it back to life as a gift of gratitude.

You have been gifted with a talent, and ability.  You may or may not be aware of this talent.  It may be an ability to write, draw, paint, dance, or a myriad of others.  Or it may be a more unusual and rare gift of being able to organise and rally people together for events with purpose and to motivate others to do their best.  Or perhaps you have some other sort of talent that is hard to articulate, define or pin down, but is real nonetheless.  If you have no idea what talent lies within, then this gorgeous oracle indicates a process of discovery for you as well as personal development.  All you need to do is attend to your spiritual path and personal growth and all else will unfold as it needs to, whether you understand it at the time or not.

This is not a slight ability that may be fun for a while to explore, it is a genuine talent that needs to be developed for a life path to be successful.  Taking this particular journey, discovering, exploring and developing this particular ability, will bring you into a sense of your calling, into a deep sense of spiritual satisfaction.  If you are feeling pressured by other commitments, even by family members or social networks, to step away from your personal work, spiritual path and commitment to your inner journey.  There is work you are doing that will be of benefit to the larger human collective.  That sort of contribution takes commitment and you are not selfish in honouring that commitment.  No matter how ordinary you may feel at times – you are special!  You are unique, you have value.  Learning to live truthfully as yourself, and being that self in the world, is a way to honour the life that you have been given.

Love yourself as the Divine Mother does, with great generosity and affection.  You deserve no less.

So gorgeous one, enjoy this glorious week.  Celebrate whatever you want to and in a way that fits for you.  Remind yourself how fantabulous you are and how so very loved you are.  Wishing you a stupendous week, be kind to yourself.  Plant your seeds of intention and always remember to laugh and drink tea! Also, a huge glorious thank you for all your lovely emails and comments, I greatly appreciate them!  They are a delight to read.

Come make a witches broom with me to hang over my Come make a witches broom with me to hang over my doorway. An autumn craft that required no $ to make, just some foraged pine needles, a stick, dried flowers from an old bouquet from my lover, tinkling bells I picked from the threshold of our front door, an old ribbon I cut and some copper wire from my studio. #autumn #cozy #autumncraft #whimsical #whimsy

What if your life isn’t falling apart? What if yo What if your life isn’t falling apart?

What if you’re simply mid-frigging-leap?

The Full Moon Eclipse is arriving August 27–28, and the Fool is standing at the cliff’s edge with no map, no guarantees and no tidy five-year plan—just curiosity, courage and a wee dog saying, Oi, let’s go!

This eclipse may feel chaotic, ungrounding and wildly uncertain. But somewhere beneath the chaos, joy and possibility are fizzing.

You don’t need to know exactly where you’ll land.

You just need to know the old ground can’t carry the person you’re becoming.

You are not falling, Gorgeous Soul. You are leaping.

Eclipse Season is coming—and it’s ready to rummage Eclipse Season is coming—and it’s ready to rummage through the cosmic cupboards and expose what we’ve shoved behind the good china. 🌑🦁✨

The New Moon Solar Eclipse in Leo asks:

Where have you made yourself smaller, quieter or more beige just to belong?

No more hiding the wild laugh, strange ideas or glorious sparkle.

The new post explores what this Eclipse may uncover—and includes The Glorious Reveal, a playful ritual with a mirror, a wonky crown and some magnificently questionable dancing.

You do not need to perform to belong.

Your light was never the frigging problem.

They sold you Barbie and called it feminine. Pink They sold you Barbie and called it feminine.

Pink, pretty, agreeable, easy to look at and easy to manage. Somewhere we started believing that was feminine energy.

That’s femininity with the wild bred out of it.

The real thing looks more like nature than a doll.

Seasons. Storms. Tides that don’t ask permission. Soft and completely untamable at once. I spent years being the polished version. The wild one was always underneath.
