October is here and the colours are all changing! Weekly Reading October 2nd.

Jenny Heston · 3:01 pm ·

Happy October, Happy Monday and how the heck are you? Ā As we play around in Fall one of the things I notice is that all the ā€œactivitiesā€ start up again. Ā Kids dance, violin, Tae Kwon Do, your Yoga, Tai Chi, running group, your sweeties bowling, darts night or squash game and time becomes very busy. Ā This is a glorious time to create a schedule for yourself that allows play time, nourishing time, connection time and relax time. Ā It’s also a great time to do a cleanse and purge your body of any delicious toxins, or extra bag of chips that were eaten at the summer barbeque. Ā I always do a gorgeous cleanse every Spring and every Fall, I recommend that you don’t do one in the heat of the summer or the cold of the winter as your body is in a different mode.

Do you remember a while ago we talked about the energy or theme of September? Ā September was all about Adjustment, navigating all the debris of August and doing the wiggle and settle dance of adjusting to what we wanted, what we didn’t want and what we wanted to create. Ā This month (October) we build on the Adjustment and the theme is Inner Stability and Balance, INNER being the operative word. Ā As I mentioned above, Fall is a time when the activities ramp up, then there is Thanksgiving, Halloween, Remembrance Day and voila Xmas! Ā So as the nights get longer and our bodies really want to hibernate a tad (eat soup, bread and watch a Netflix show), the activity is ramped up!! Ā

If you’re willing I invite you to focus this month on your Inner Stability and Balance, our inner experience is what transforms our outer experience – in the words of Abraham Hicks – BE, DO, HAVE (The BE part being the inner experience). Ā With all the delicious energy that has been bopping around for the last few months, it’s a time to integrate, to reflect, go inwards a little (no I’m not asking you to be a hermit, just make sure your inner self feels good, grounded and nurtured). Ā How to do this when the season is ramping up? Ā My advice take a walk in the woods! Ā I did that yesterday after 2.5 days of 12 hour renovating (where I was so frigging bagged that I collapsed into bed). Ā My inner was feeling undernourished and a little overwhelmed, which I could witness on the outer level – so for me it is ā€œget thee to the woodsā€! Ā

It was fascinating to see that a spot I had been 5 days ago had changed, the colours were really starting to pop and as I looked up the mountain side there were greens, oranges, yellows and gorgeous rusts. Ā The creek had started to fill up a little after the hot, hot dry long summer we had. Ā I could feel Nature wrap me up in a glorious multi coloured blanket and push love, nurturing and strength back into my soul, my mind, my body – everything. Ā I gladly received the window of connection to my inner being through nature’s guidance and have to say it was wayyyyy better than a coffee or an energy drink (not that I use either), but it was like a glorious boost and a plugging in to Divine, my inner well being and stability. Ā All of which had gotten a tad put to the side with ā€œLet’s rip this wall down, build a wall here, hang gyprock, mud, tape, pour concrete, sink posts, build handrails etc. etc. etc. ā€œ

Anyhow, enough nattering, let’s crack on to the reading. Ā Interesting to see The Divine Circus Oracle were the ones that insisted on coming to play. Ā Also the new crystals I gifted myself the other day, Ruby Zoisite, Fire Agate and Cinabrite, which are so frigging appropriate for this time, danced out as well as glorious little mint flowers. Ā Oh and following my own advice the reading was done on a glorious stump. Ā Take a breathe, you always have time for that. Ā Just breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Ā Let your shoulders drop, your jaw relax, your scalp relax (yes, you can do that), and just take a moment for yourself. Ā When you are ready, pick the card or cards that resonate for you. Ā

Have you picked? Ā

Then let’s go have a look shall we? Ā What is the message or who wants to work with you this week, let’s go find out.

OUT OF THE DARKNESS

Something that has been troubling you, something dark within you or in your life, is about to become something else. Ā You won’t see it coming, but when the time is right (and it soon will be), out of darkness will come new life. Ā

A seed of new life is growing. Ā Perhaps you cannot see it or feel it because the seed begins its journey to new life in the darkness, hidden, away from sight and away from light. Ā This seed is destined to bring new life to a situation that might seem to be dying, a fresh perspective to a stale problem. Ā When the time is right – and that is fast approaching – the seed will push through, rise up and reveal itself. Ā It will no longer be just a seed, but a shoot that will grow into a plant and can then flower and bear fruit. Ā It is not a question of whether or not it is going to happen. Ā It is going to happen. Ā It is just a matter of time. Ā

Whatever struggle or challenge is in your life or your heart right now, trust that it is going to work out. Ā Not only that, but the very thing that seems to be darkest in your life, the most troublesome, is actually going to be what brings forth Ā beautiful gift of a new life. Ā In a strange way, it is actually trying to help you. Ā It is assisting you in being ready to receive and experience new life, for something new to be born in you and in your life. Ā This might be the realisation of your own inner strength, your courage, the development of belief in yourself, confidence to trust your instincts or some other gift yet to be understood. Ā

Soon you’ll see there was an opportunity and even a blessing hiding in the troubles of your past, just waiting for the right time to transform itself into light and life. Ā

THE PROUD PIERETTE

If you were proud of who you are and everything you have learned in your life, free from shame, guilt or judgement, what would you choose for yourself today? Ā The choices you make for yourself from a place of feeling good are going to be more loving and helpful than anything from a place of self-judgement. Ā You’ve nothing to regret, you’ve learned a lot and you are a beautiful unique being on a wild divine journey. Ā Be kind to yourself. Keep your head up! Ā Then it will be easier to keep growing and glowing.

If you feel that life is getting you down, or you should have, or could have, made different decisions in life – you are doing a great job! Ā You are meant to have learning experiences. Ā What matters is that you choose to learn. Ā And you do! Ā In your own time and your own way, you make sense of things, and you grow wiser and stronger as a person.

If you feel any ridicule, judgement or shaming is coming from those around you – trust you are stronger and wilder and more beautiful and true than any of that mean-spirited fearfulness. Ā Let the mud that is being slung slide right off or remain stuck in the hands of those throwing it your way. Ā Keep your sense of inner dignity intact. Ā Never make yourself smaller to placate the fear in another’s heart. Ā Take pride in who you are. Ā Be proud to be you! And know that this is a way to respect and honour the creative loving power of the universe that created you!

HER WICKED WAYS

You are meant to shine bright, to be a sun, even in the cold and dark depths of winter, bringing warmth to the world. Ā Some don’t like the light. Ā They want to freeze your enthusiasm, douse your creative fire and rain on your parade. Ā Don’t let them! Ā Shine your light with stubbornness and happiness. Defeat the Snow Queen and her wicked ways.

The Snow Queen depicted on this card has her wicked ways. Ā She likes to test those that aren’t yet sure of their worth. Ā She will try to freeze you with a glance that conveys criticism, judgement, ridicule. Ā She’ll make you believe that you’ll be humiliated, that it’s inevitable you’ll fail and so it’s better that you just don’t try to begin with. Ā She’ll plant seeds of doubt like a weed in your soul garden, and cause you to lose energy to mental anguish. Ā You’ll find the way of your life more difficult than it needs to be if you don’t take heed of what is happening and use your power to stand up to her. Ā

Whether she arises through a loved one who cannot support you, or a colleague who is envious of you and wants to see you fall, or the voice in your head that is afraid and is yet to really trust your heart to lead you. Ā There is only one way to deal with her. Ā You must stand up tall and true and reply ā€œI am me! Ā Save your soul-slaying, doubt-making for another day. Ā If you stay anywhere near me, I’ll melt you with my creative fire and the warmth of my love. Ā So be gone, it’s time for you to move on!!!!”

Wishing you an amazing week. Ā Remember to take some time outside to just BE. Ā Give your inner being some TLC and if in doubt smile and laugh! Ā Huge hugs. Ā Oh yes, and make a nice hot drink that nourishes you! Ā If you want more information on the theme of the month I highly recommend Lena Stevens, I have been working with her for about 5 years now and she is pretty cool. Ā There won’t be a reading next week as it is Thanksgiving here and I plan on celebrating. Ā Have a great week and as always I love reading your comments and insights – thank you.

Happy Post Equinox and Welcome to Fall! Weekly Reading September 25th.

Jenny Heston · 3:09 pm ·

Happy wonderful Monday delicious lovely and welcome to Fall! Ā Yes it’s here (unless you live wayyyy South and then it’s Spring!) Ā I have to admit my two most favourite seasons of the year are Spring and Fall, the colours, the smells and the energy that each season brings. Ā I noticed when I went into the woods today, some of the leaves are starting to gild themselves with gold and orange, the squirrels are most certainly getting cheekier with their gather and hoard and there was the very first V of Canada Geese flying overhead. Ā

Whether we like it or not things change and are cyclical, so it’s about how to use that energy for your best and highest good. Ā Personally, I have been getting outside as much as possible and harvesting fruit and veggies like a machine! Ā Soon it’s time to dry all the wonderful herbs from the garden for winter and make gorgeous bundles of lavender that get tucked in the boys sox drawers when they aren’t looking (as they can often have stinky soxs!) Ā This weekend we had a glorious time of celebrating birthdays and Mabon, it was fabulous as well as some gorgeous hikes into the deep woods and rock hopping through the babbling creeks. Ā (The hounds were in piggy heaven to say the least). Ā One of the things I love about celebrating Mabon is it is an incredible time to release so I gave myself the gift of time and sat and wrote down everything I do not want in my life. Ā I know that sounds negative but it actually isn’t, if we really know what we don’t want then it is so much easier to flip it and know what we do want. Ā Which is exactly what I did. Ā So now I have a very succinct list of the habits, the ways of being, living and moving in this world that I really value and appreciate. Ā Try it, it’s pretty fun. Ā

I received a new Oracle deck last week and in usual style she has been cleansed, blessed, consecrated and given a mission and I was thrilled to see her jump off the shelf today and most appropriate too I think. Ā She is The Faery Forest, An Oracle of the Wild Green World. Ā She is filled with lovely characters who want to guide, support, kick your arse and help. Ā When I went to ask which crystals wanted to come play a delicate whisper from outside told me I was looking in the wrong place. Ā What? Ā When I went out to the garden the fruits and veggies called out loud and proud, as after all Mabon is the second harvest festival, the festival of fruits. Ā Ergo, we have fruits and veggies that insisted on coming to play. Ā A couple of deep, deep purple plums, an apple from a tree I planted last year and gorgeous little bumblebee tomatoes. Ā What can I say? Ā

So let’s just rest and pause for a moment. Ā As you gently slow your breathing down I invite you to think about all the glorious moments, thoughts and things that you have harvested in the last while and all the ones that are coming to you. Ā On your next exhale just release, release and relax. Ā Breathe in your golden harvest and breathe out the release. Ā That’s it. Ā Keep breathing and when you are ready open your eyes and pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

Shall we go have a look?

THE HEDGEWITCH

You are being asked to consider herbal forms of healing – working with what is in-between, effective and yet natural, available to and yet still hardly acknowledged. Ā Changing the foods you eat to include more greens and herbs to boost energy and health, and begin to pay very serious attention to the quality of the foods you eat – again, with a very close focus on the world of herbs and plants. Ā

You can at this time adjust the way you eat and feind essential oil blends which assist with sleeping, with becoming calm, with dissipating anger, increasing self-love and deepening your wisdom. Ā Explore growing your own flowers, vegetables and herbs. Ā

When you begin to consider the truth that why you ingest becomes the very molecules of your body, and you may decide at this time to reduce additives, sugar, GMOs, and various forms of meat, too. Ā You now begin a journey into health and wellbeing, and eat what is good and wholesome for you. Ā The Hedgewitch is the messenger guiding you to this path of nourishment and well being through the plant world. Ā Nurture and nourish yourself so that you continue to grow and glow. Ā

THE ANCIENT

The Ancient is so old she is almost beyond time. Ā She is able to speak the truth without compromise – as are you, when this card comes to you. Ā She is so old, has experienced so much, learned and taught so many lessons, that she has become powerful and influential, just as you are becoming too. Ā So too are you growing older, coming into wisdom. Ā She knows that while others are now going to come to you for advice and guidance, she sees your humanity – your faults and your flaws and your feelings of unworthiness. Ā She wishes to reassure you. Ā Others will come to you, seeking knowledge, awaiting a blessing, an initiation, and oblivious to the consequences of the path they wish to walk. Ā Wisdom, true wisdom, understands complexity, and you have developed this quality. Ā The Ancient is honorable and human, and yet more than human, and she is courageous and has made sacrifices – as have you. Ā She sees straight through comforting illusions – as you do.

She represents ancient tradition and the challenge of defining the self, yet remaining within a tradition that you value – and this too is one of your challenges. Ā So take responsibility in your life. Ā You will face the battle of choice, and will be the antidote to gurus and dominant personalities who claim to have all the answers. Ā The Ancient recognises the challenge of being a teacher. Ā

This immersion in a world to learn the ancient arts and venerate wisdom and old ways can be expressed in many forms, but everything you are now learning has value. Ā She is the repository for ancient secrets and the contact between worlds. Ā She is wise – and has learned to consider every word that falls from her lips, even as she longs to call out for freedom. Ā You don’t need another course, degree, or certification to share the wisdom that perks and lurks inside you. Ā You just need to be willing to share. Ā

THE LIFE BRINGER

About you now ideas and projects are gestating, constellations of ideas are birthing, your creativity is flowing from within, and ideas are developing in an easy, organic flow. Ā For a time, you will be rich in health and love and in physical beauty. Ā While there is much that is new about your, what has already been developed within your world can now be brought to greater fulfillment – so children may begin to mature and grow older, and your ambitions and your dreams may need support to move from their beginnings to become truly established and make their presence strong and unshakable.

Your accomplishments will now be acknowledged, respect will be given as it is overdue, and your contributions and your work will now receive the value and recognition they deserve. Ā Ā

This could also mean you are able to ask for more money in exchange for your services and seek investment to develop your business. Ā Your influence, power, and reputation are all growing in healthy, inspiring ways. Ā You feel good in yourself – a loving relationship with your body now develops, and you accept and receive loving support from others. Ā

No more will you receive disrespect – unkind words about yourself or your ventures will no longer be tolerated. Ā You are growing in stature – finally, the world sees you for who you are, a successful being who has followed their dreams!

So there we go glorious one. Ā Interesting how the cards reflected nourishing yourself, embracing your wisdom and then watching the respect come in! Ā Whoot! Ā

I wish for you a stupendous week, glorious harvests and big releases. Ā Let me know what you think of this new deck! Ā See you next week! Ā

It’s All About the Balance Baby – Autumnal Equinox and 8 steps to harness this energy.

Jenny Heston · 5:28 pm ·

There are 8 spots on the wheel of the year and these are called Sabbats. Ā 4 are major and 4 are called ā€œlesserā€ in other words they are the mid point between 2 of the major. Ā So this Equinox, Ā which is also known as Mabon (named after the Welsh god, Mabon, son of the Earth Goddess Madron), Ā is a lesser Sabbat as it is mid way between the summer solstice and the winter solstice. Ā Does this mean it has less energy – heck no!

This is the second harvest, Ā the fruit harvest, Ā late July we celebrated the first harvest festival which was Lammas. Ā  With this festival, Ā you are being invited to look at the seeds that you sowed in the Spring, on every level, and reflect on how they have manifested. Ā Most crops are in and the fields are beginning to look brown and are slowly going to sleep for the winter (unless they are filled with gorgeous orange pumpkins). Ā I personally have pulled up all my soft and tender zucchini plants and am almost done harvesting my tomatoes, but I am going to leave my carrots and beets in the ground until first frost (it makes them far more juicy!) Ā In my wanderings with the hounds I also found a gorgeous old, old abandoned orchard filled with apple trees and have been harvesting apples galore (although the bears have had something to say about that!)

What you need to appreciate is that Mabon is the balance point, the place where there is equal amount of day and night. Ā While we harvest and celebrate the glorious gifts we are receiving we have to accept that the soil is dying, and release. Ā We have food to eat, but warmth is gently tucking behind us and cold and dark lie ahead. Ā Ā Now if this if making you gulp a little, don’t! Ā Remember you can’t experience light without the dark and vice versa. Ā When the day and night are of equal length, it offers a powerful vibration and harmony between the time of creation (night) and the time of manifestation (day). Ā This allows the flow between creation and manifestation to be more seamless and flows with ease and effortlessness. Ā There are no limits on what you can manifest during an Equinox, however, for a Spring (Southern Hemisphere) it is a time of new beginnings and for us in Autumn it is a time to harvest, release and let go. Ā

So how do I mark this time and celebrate it and harness this glorious energy you may be asking. Ā Good question and there are a myriad of ways, so pick whichever resonates for you. Ā You can do more than one most certainly, but if it feels like a chore – put it to the side!

Create An Altar

Now if the word altar makes you uncomfie, call it a celebration nook or a gratitude space. Ā It could be on the dining room table, a kitchen counter a dresser – you name it. Ā Ā Gather up leaves, acorns, seed pods, rocks, twigs Ā – whatever calls out to you and put them in a lovely spot and enjoy them. Take your kids or friends on a Nature walk. Ā When you have gathered and placed give them a little blessing and thanks. Ā It’s the ritual of taking time to acknowledge that’s important, not the objects per se.

Clean House!

With the longer nights soon approaching and most of us spending more time inside than out, this is a perfect time to do a fall version of spring cleaning. Ā Gather together the things that no longer serve you, it could be clothes you don’t wear anymore, books that you aren’t going to read again, those random arsed odd soxs that you hold onto just in case…… Ā Release them. Ā Gift them to a charity shop (not the odd soxs), take them to your library, but give them a little pat and thanks and pass them on to someone else who will enjoy them. Ā Give your house a good clean and then do a smudging. Ā Decorate your home with symbols of the harvest season. Ā Buy or pick a gorgeous bouquet of orange, gold and green and have it somewhere where you can see it daily. Ā

Celebrate Your Abundance!

When we say abundance, it doesn’t necessarily mean material or financial gain — you may be abundant if you have friends who love you, a satisfying family life, or a rewarding career. Think about that things you have for which you are most grateful. Ā I get Notes from the Universe, every morning (and I love them) and today’s was Ā – “If you’re reading this right now on a phone or computer, you’re rich. Ā If you have somewhere to go today, you’re connected. Ā And if there is anyone anywhere for any reason knows where you are at this moment, you’re loved.“

Ā You can turn it into a game with your family at dinner time and everyone takes turns to share what makes them feel abundant (it’s very cool to hear all the various responses). Ā

Play With Your Food

If you have access to berries, apples, pears or whatever fruit is around you right now. Ā Gather it all together and create an abundance mandala. Ā In other words, play with your food! Ā Get your most favourite dish out and arrange the fruit in any way that you like that resembles a mandala and have it for dessert (or your main course). Ā Involve your kids, have friends over, but celebrate!

Apple Magic

Apples are the perfect symbol of the Mabon season. Ā Long connected to wisdom and magic. Ā The apple has figured significantly in many sacred traditions. Ā It is known as a symbol for life and immortality, for healing, renewal, regeneration and wholeness. Ā

If you cut an apple widthways it reveals a pentagram containing seeds. Ā The five points represent the elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Water with Spirit at the top, and thus also the directions of East, South, West, North and Within. Ā The circle of the apple around the pentagram represents the eternal circle/cycle of life and nature, and of wholeness. Ā

So if there are apple trees nearby, or a local pick your own orchard go get some apples! Ā Then think of the pies, crisps and crumbles you can make with your glorious fruit. Ā You could also dehydrate (dry) the apple circles and make them into an edible wreath. Ā

It’s All About the Balance Baby

As I mentioned earlier, Mabon is the perfect time of balance between light and dark. Ā So why not give yourself the gift of balance. Ā Take a few moments or longer and just sit and breathe slow and deep and meditate on balance. Ā Reflect on how you handle pressure, how you manage your emotions and other people’s. Ā Is your life in balance? Ā Do you make sure you get enough rest, water and play or are you pushing and striving and feeling a tad overwhelmed? Ā What little shifts and changes can you do to create more balance in your mind, body, work, home life, family? Ā Do you need to practice saying No more or do you need to practice saying Yes more? Ā Get it? Ā So just take some time and if you feel inclined write down a few small tweaks that would make you feel more in alignment and balanced.

Decorate with Sunflowers

As I have said repeatedly, I love, love sunflowers! Ā Their big bobbly heads that track the sun, their glorious cheerful faces that waft in the breeze. Ā But as with all things, that changes. Ā The petals are starting to drop off and the seed heads are beginning to curl back a bit and the leaves are drooping. Ā So I’m gently going to trim the heads off the flowers, save one and dry the seeds (so I can’t plant my seeds at Spring Equinox) and with all the rest (and there are quite a few), I’m threading them on fishing line and hanging them in the branches of the trees for the birds. Ā That way the birds and the squirrels can stock up on seeds before the winter comes. Ā

Light ā€˜Er Up!

Get a candle or candles and as you light them you can ask for blessings on your home, hearth and self. Ā This doesn’t have to be complex or over the top (although if you want it to it can be). Ā You can just simply take a breath, light your candle and say ā€œGoddess or Green Man, I ask for your blessing on this special day. Ā Bless my harvest, my home, my hearth and my self. Ā Keep us safe and warm, the winds away from the door, harmony and health abounding. Ā I give thanks and so it is.ā€ Ā Voila! Ā Remember though, please don’t leave candles unattended and most certainly don’t go to sleep with one burning. Ā

If you like ritual there are two gorgeous ones here – one is for Autumnal Equinox (Mabon), and the other (if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere) is for Spring Equinox. Ā

So delicious one, that is how to celebrate and harness this potent time of Equinox. Ā I hope you give yourself the gift of doing something to mark this special day.

Enjoy!

Spring Equinox Ritual

Jenny Heston · 5:11 pm ·

Ritual for Spring Equinox

This ritual is wonderful for manifestation, protection and a clear creative mind. Ā

What you will need:

About 10 brightly coloured flowers

A candle – preferably pink, yellow, purple or white

Your favourite crystal and here I would recommend Citrine if you have it.

Pen and Paper

A willingness to get creative and clear

  1. Find a little space and a spot for your ritual. Ā Personally, if the weather is half decent I go outside.
  2. Hold your crystal to your heart and envision that as you breathe in long and deep you are breathing in through both the crystal and your heart.
  3. Pick up your pen and paper and write down what you want to create, attract, manifest or bring into form into your mind, body, life, work, home. Ā When you have finished writing, gather up your flowers and arrange them in a circle leaving one for later.
  4. Pop your candle and the paper you wrote on into the Ā circle, but keep hold of your crystal.
  5. Say your manifestation aloud 3 times and then light your candle.
  6. Just sit and take in the energy of your sacred circle. Ā Just breathe and enjoy.
  7. When you feel ready, release what you spoke aloud out to the Universe by picking up your flower that you put aside and tossing it into the air. Ā Feel the Universe grab your words and whisk them off on a glorious Spring breeze. Ā
  8. Take the piece of paper you wrote on and burn it in the light of the candle. Ā Then gently gather up your flowers and pop them into a vase so they can remind you for the next few days.

Awesome! Ā You have just set the wheels in motion for creation. Ā

Autumn Equinox Ritual

Jenny Heston · 5:07 pm ·

Ritual for Mabon

This is a great ritual for releasing the past, clearing negative beliefs or feelings and welcoming in something new.

What you will need:

Herbs

Bowl for water

Candle Ā preferably white, yellow, green red or orange

Your favourite crystal

Pen and Paper

A Willingness to Release

  1. Give yourself the gift of time and space. Ā Find a nice quiet spot. Ā Light your candle and place it next to your bowl of water.
  2. Hold your crystal for a few minutes and just breathe. Ā This helps to clear your mind, get you focused and to release.
  3. Put your herbs into the water. Ā You can use whatever herbs you have, in fact you can even cut open sachets of herbal tea.
  4. Using your finger, stir the herb water around in a clockwise direction 5 times.
  5. Take your pen and paper and start writing. Ā Write down anything you want to release in your life. Ā It could be small, big, it doesn’t matter.
  6. When you are done writing, say it outloud 3 times. Ā Then fold or crumple up the paper and place it into your herb water.
  7. Swirl the water around again with your finger 3, 6 or 9 times. Ā Watch the paper get soggier and soggier.
  8. Take your bowl (and being careful not to slop onto yourself), lift it up to your heart centre. Ā Take a deep breath in and as you exhale, breathe over the water. Ā Then state loud and proud ā€œI release all of this for my highest good. Ā So be it.ā€ Ā Then pour your water out and throw the piece of paper away.

You have released and created space for something new and lovely to fill that space.

Here we go loves, tomorrow brings our once-in-a-bl Here we go loves, tomorrow brings our once-in-a-blue-moon moment. šŸŒ•šŸ©µ

This Sagittarius full blue moon is bringing a cosmic green light for growth, expansion and taking the leap into the known (and unknown).

It’s here to free you from the confines of your comfort zone, illuminate the beliefs and fears that have kept you small, and call you towards the fullest and truest expansion of yourself.

You may already be feeling the restlessness building. A feeling that something needs to change. That you’ve outgrown certain parts of your life, limiting thoughts, old stories or ways of being that no longer fit the version of you you’re becoming.

This moon wants you to stop waiting for some imaginary future and begin taking steps towards the life your heart and soul truly yearn for now.

You’ll know deep down where you’re being called to go and what you’re being called to do and yes, it may feel big. But your soul wouldn’t call you into it if you weren’t ready.

This is your once-in-a-blue-moon moment to believe in yourself, stretch beyond what feels comfortable, trust your path and take the leap.

Just like the Sagittarius archer, draw back your bow, take aim for what you want and go for it.

The Taurus new moon is a powerful reminder that we The Taurus new moon is a powerful reminder that we cannot hear the guidance or receive and anchor in the new energies and frequencies coming in when we are in a state of dysregulation or high alert.

The world is getting quicker and louder, and many of us are being pulled in too many different directions by too many different demands on our time, energy and attention, leaving us feeling overwhelmed, overloaded and agitated.

This moon is asking us to consciously slow down, unplug from the noise of the outside world and take back our attention from anywhere it’s scattered. Because when our attention is scattered, our power and awareness leak, making it easier to feel lost, uncertain and disconnected from ourselves.

This moon is asking us to root deeply into ourselves, regulate our nervous systems and reconnect to our own wisdom, because only from a grounded and rooted place can we truly receive and anchor in the new frequencies and possibilities trying to come through.

How are you being called to slow down and reconnect to yourself under this moon?

Tiny flower cups for the bees because the fountain Tiny flower cups for the bees because the fountain water was too strong and some were drowning. šŸ„ŗšŸ

Without bees we have nothing.
No flowers.
No food.
No Spring magic.

So this is your reminder to leave water out, plant flowers and protect the tiny wild things. They are holding the world together. 🌼✨

We’re taught early what it means to be a ā€œgoodā€ wo We’re taught early what it means to be a ā€œgoodā€ woman.
.
.
Be nice and agreeable. Don’t make people uncomfortable...even if it means you are.
.
.
We learn to shrink ourselves to keep the peace. To smile when something feels off. To choose politeness over protection.
.
.
But here’s the thing… that version of ā€œnatureā€ we’re told to follow? It’s not reality.
.
.
Look at females in the wild. They protect their territory. They defend their young. They set boundaries without apology. They don’t soften themselves to make others comfortable. They survive because they don’t ignore their instincts....Somewhere along the way, we were taught to override ours.
.
.
Being kind is not the same as being compliant. Being compassionate does not require self-abandonment... And your discomfort is not something you owe the world.
.
.
You are allowed to take up space, say no and choose yourself.
.
.
That’s not unnatural....That’s instinct.
Bealtaine blessings! šŸŒøšŸŒæšŸ§ššŸ¼ In the Celtic lands, the Bealtaine blessings! šŸŒøšŸŒæšŸ§ššŸ¼ In the Celtic lands, the ancient festival of Bealtaine marks the start of the summer season.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Traditionally Bealtaine did not have a fixed date, though it has come to be celebrated by many in modern times on the first of May (and here in Ireland, this week has indeed very much felt like our first glimpse of summer).⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
At this time of year we celebrate the greening, fertility, and abundance of the natural world. The land is bursting with life all around us, renewed from the long sleep of winter.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Much like the festival of Samhain, which sits opposite from Bealtaine on the ever-turning wheel of the year, this is a liminal time when the veil between our physical realm and the spiritual Otherworld thins.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
It is said here in Ireland that the SĆdhe, the fairy folk, are more likely pass through the fairy forts, ancient burial mounds, and other ā€œthin placesā€ at this time of year (and folks who wander near these places may likewise find themselves wandering into the Otherworld).⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Many of the rituals performed during this festival are protective in nature.⁣ Perhaps the most time-honored of these rites is the Bealtaine bonfire šŸ”„ ⁣If you are unable to light a large fire, candle magic is a good option as well.⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
This energy makes Bealtaine a potent time for spirit work, hedge crossing (i.e. trance journeying), and divination. ⁣Similarly, you may have noticed your dreams becoming more vivid, or you might even experience prophetic or lucid dreams. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣
In my own practice, getting out onto the land to connect with the local spirits is one of the most important aspects of this day.⁣ I gather herbs and flowers, have a picnic, sing, dance, and share offerings with the local spirits of place šŸŒ€
