It’s Spring! I have to say, one of my most favourite seasons of the year – there is a promise, there is a ripening, there is a bursting forth of beauty and green healing energy. Love it!! Today there was a stunning rainbow in the sky, I drove past baby lambs cavorting in fields and witnessed 2 eagles dancing in the sky together. Pretty fantabulous day. Again, we are working with Sacred Rebels this month as that feels so appropriate.

We have just passed the Equinox, which was all about commitment, so I invite you to take a moment. Be present for yourself, look at the cards and ask from them what you need, what will help you this week, or what will help with any commitments you have made. Gently close your eyes and breathe deep down into your toes, feel your belly expand, your rib bones stretch out to make more space and as you exhale do it through an open mouth and feel your shoulders drop and your jaw relax. Let’s do it one more time, see your feet firmly planted on the earth and breathe into that space, feel the nurturing energy rising up in your body in your inhale, then exhale and release.

POWER OF ATTRACTION

There is such wonder awaiting you. There are so many beautiful adventures and so much magic yet to be. Can you keep your heart open to what is coming towards you, without surrendering your experience of this moment y becoming too future oriented? You are a big soul and with that often comes big dreams. You might worry that you want too much out of life. Perhaps you think that you are only capable of small dreams. This oracle is reminding you there are stages of creation. You can build a house without a foundation and then flooring. Your big life dreams are a work in progress. Just like you. You are going to attract whatever is needed to complete your work in progress and bring it to fruition. Remain open to receive and trust in the unfolding of your life experiences. Do not turn away. DEFEND TO THE END THE WORTHWHILE

This oracle brings guidance to honour even the smallest steps in your path of the sacred warrior. Respond to the presence of fear (whether it is masked as anger, hate or doubt) and immediately respond to it with fierce compassion. The spiritual warrior will not allow fear, darkness, sleepy ambivalence to gain a stronghold in your gorgeous, bright amazing heart. You are being asked to stay strong and stand your ground.

BRING INTO FORM

Beautiful dreamer, you can imagine wonderful worlds of light. You Can dream up so many possibilities. Now it is time to bring those possibilities of light into the world. They need to be more than ideas. They need to live, to manifest. The world needs not only your dreams, beautiful as they are, but also your creations. Get thee to thy desk! Thy easel! Thy computer! Create!

You are being asked to honour yourself with a commitment to complete your inspired tasks. This will help you to grow and that is a wonderful reason to commit. But, there is another reason too – you know that your inspired ideas are worth translating into practical forms so that other people can access them and experience something special too. This oracle confirms that the information you need to translate your ideas into form will be provided according to the higher wisdom of life. It may or may not happen by traditional routes. Hello delicious lovelies, how are you doing today? Can you feel Spring coming? I was very excited to see the gorgeous crocus and snowdrops all up and sharing their beautiful glory. Just think, the Equinox is around the corner (March 19th) and then Spring has officially arrived. I do have to say Spring and Fall are my two most favourite seasons. Okay, on to the reading for this wonderful week.

Take a moment to just drop into your body, feel your belly expand as you take a deep breath in and gently exhale it through an open mouth. Ask yourself – What guidance do I need for this week. LEGACY OF LIGHT

You are being asked to honour the legacy of light that is your sacred birthright. The more you are nourished by this legacy of light from your past, the more you become a bearer of the legacy for those that will be supported by your light in the future. A creative choice you are making, or have made, or soon will make, is one that is in alignment with your sacred purpose and spiritual path of healing and growth. The issue at hand is one of utmost importance to your spiritual growth. The legacy of light also ask you to call on the unconditionally loving support that exists for you, every day. This light will offer you all manner of assistance. To not call upon it is like starving because you have no means to acquire food, whilst a feast lays before your eyes – if only you would partake of it!

Sacred vision is awakening within you. You’re becoming blessed with the ability to truly see. To see what is real rather than what appears to be. This is true insight. What was once considered consequential may soon be found to hold little consequence after all. What was once dismissed as an irritation or irrelevance may be seen to have great spiritual significance. If you have been wondering about your life path or whether you should take action on a project or you need inspiration to really move you out of a slump you have fallen into, then this oracle brings you a message of hope. It is safe for you to become naked with life. This doesn’t necessarily mean stripping off and running wild in public. It does mean stripping back your beliefs, strongholds and mental or emotional security blankets so that you can live with less obstruction than ever before. Imagine the conditioning that has kept life away from you, just kept it dropping out of your hands like keys, coins or clocks. Sometimes we need our defences. At other times, it is clear we are outgrowing them. There is something that you have outgrown. It has to do with your ideas about productivity, time, control and money. It has to do with abundance, trust and living with the fundamental belief that everything is going to turn out okay. You are ready to be much more vulnerable and exposed in life. You don’t have to hide behind being organised, perfect in control or financially secure and stable. When you live as you innately are, rather than how you have conditioned to be, you will experience greater joy, freedom and support. When you are not resisting yourself or resisting life, there is less resisting what you need as it come to you.

Hello, hello, hello! I’m so very excited. This is such a powerful month, we have two eclipses and the Equinox, so there is big, big energy occurring and we can harness and use that energy to fire us up and move us forward if we are aware of it. We are going to keep using the Sacred Rebel Oracle deck this month as the powerful energy of this deck is very much in alignment with the energy of this month.

Tomorrow is a New Moon and a Solar Eclipse so I invited that energy into this reading to help give you a bit more clarity towards your goals and dreams. So are you ready?

I invite you to just slow down for a moment and become aware of your gorgeous breathe. Gently take a deep wonderful belly breathe in through the nose and hold it for a moment at the top and then slowly release it as a sigh. Let’s do one more. Take a deep breathe in, hold it at the top and then slowly release it as a sigh. Ahhhh. Allow yourself to ask what guidance or support you need with regards to your goals, commitments, desires and dreams and as you ask yourself this see the number of the card to float into your awareness.

1. FREE FROM JUDGEMENT, FREE TO LOVE

Imagine a world so infused with bliss, love and wonder that you naturally and always feel as safe as a nourished, cherished baby in the arms of the universal mother. You are learning about mothering and being mothered. It might be through bearing children, or adopting children or taking care of children as if they were your own. It also might be on a different scale, working with groups, communities, causes or purposes that need your devotion, your energy, your belief in their value, and your willingness to be the wild tigress or the supportive shoulder to lean upon, in order to bring those worthwhile groups to life. You are amongst the universal mother’s special clan of nurturing spirits that help to honour life on this planet. You are also being asked to open up to receive more nurturing in return. You will get used to valuing yourself enough to know that needing love and affection from another is an opportunity, not only for you to receive, but for someone else to give, which involves them being received too. If you have been asking life for a solution to a specific difficulty know that the solution is in gestation right now. Hold tight and wait for the imminent birth of that resolution. You are asked to stop, relax, centre and settle into your body to feel your connection with life itself. The air in your lungs is the same air that moves the trees. Connect to life and in doing so, life can connect with you and nurture and support you. And so it shall.

2. THE WORD WANTS TO BE WRITTEN

You might have been taught that creativity is something you have to work hard to access, or that finding your life purpose is so difficult that you must search high and low for it. Yet what you are is within you and wants to come out at every available opportunity! You don’t have to struggle so much. What you are dreaming of or seeking to do, creative, live or manifest, is actually very natural for you. That is why you want to do it. The sacred rebl within cn empower you to love yourself no matter what, simply because you want to. What you want to write, sing, dance or become, is you. It is natural. Drop your defences, get into the grit and confront the power that any old shaming has had over you. It’s finished now. It is time for you to be naked with yourself, acknowledge how gorgeous you are and get on with your work. Life is urging you to do so, because the work wants to happen. What you want to create, wants to be created. The word wants to be written. You just need to let go of any remnants of the past that have been your way. Step firmly over them and on to your path.

What do Elks, Faith and Certainty have in common?

So a funny story to remind you to have Faith and Certainty in what you are doing and who you are.

I go into the mountains and the woods each morning to run the dogs and it nourishes me (and it is always off the beaten path). So this morning bright and early I grab a friend and we go off. When we walk we share our challenges and our celebrations, so she was talking about her work, why was she doing it etc. As she’s talking I hear a massive rustle in the shrubbery and think it is some of the dogs, so don’t really pay attention.

The noise gets louder so I look up and I see a massive (yes honest, this isn’t a fishing story) bull elk, with a huge rack on his head charging at us. Well holy hannah! Talk about frozen, then a bizarre nano second of – where is my camera, to “we need to throw ourselves down this rocky bank and hide behind that big tree now!”

All of the labs were totally oblivious to what was happening, but the minute my friend screamed as I grabbed her to throw her down the bank – lol (not too sure if it was me throwing her down the bank or the elk she was screaming at) my Akbash (Turkish Mountain Dog) whose nature is the protector and the guardian whipped around, spotted this 1200lbs of flesh hurtling at us and he was like the Flash – white fluid motion hurtling towards this thing. The elk obviously saw and did a majestic veer and Legolas (that’s the dog) hurtled after him. 1.5 hours later the dog came back looking very tired.

Then the interesting thing was as we continued (yes of course we had to keep going) up the mountain I started saying how yesterday I had been having a pity party of “Who am I to move my business this way?” “There are tons of people with more experience” – blah, blah, frigging blah. Then I realised that I had treated Faith like a handbag yesterday – I had put it down and couldn’t remember where I had put it. So I scrabbled around for a bit and found my handbag of Faith and tucked it under my arm to remind me to have faith in me, faith in my gifts, faith in the universe, higher power, divine, fairies – you name it.

So when I got home after the gorgeous adrenaline rushing exploration this morning I grabbed my Animal Speak book to look up Elk. The message for Elk is one of Nobility and Strength as Elk can run for extended periods of time and that is how they outrun their predators. So the message was you are about to hit your stride, strength and don’t give up as it is right there. also Elk are not a solitary animal, they function best in community of their own kind, which I love – Interesting…….

So today as I pondered Certainty and heard – Your function, your purpose is to live a life that’s not of littleness, but one of magnitude. It made me smile. Then the quote from Course In Miracles – If you knew who walks beside you on the way you have chosen, FEAR would be impossible.

It reminded me to keep my handbag of faith nearby and just keep in my stride.

Is Your Faith a Handbag?

What do you have Faith in?

Do you have faith the sun will rise tomorrow?

Do you have faith in someone else’s belief of you?

Do you have faith in who others say you should be?

Do you have faith in yourself?

I ask that question as the other day I was thinking about “What do I have faith in?” I have faith in my kids, my family, myself, in love. I have faith in a higher power, that this is a glorious, abundant amazing Universe. I have faith in my body to scramble up and down the sides of a mountain, all sorts of things.

Yet on that day as I was asking myself that question I was doubting myself, allowing other people’s opinions to push my own out, doubts, fear and negative self talk were creeping in and I was feeling blaugh. It was one of those heavy energy, darkish days – not fun at all. Then I realised that I had “misplaced” my faith. Kind of like putting down my handbag and forgetting where I had put it!

Now I don’t know about you but in my handbag is fairly much everything I need for the day; snacks, water, my wallet, ID, drivers licence, lip balm, truck keys and I am sure month old cough drops that are furry! But none the less these things are important and when I leave the house or the office the bag is with me and I know I am covered and it makes life easier. So when I forget where I have hung it up or placed it, there is a sense of panic – actually not a sense of panic but a huge frigging “Oh My Gosh, where the fuck is it!!” kind of panic. Hands get sweaty, visions of identity theft, or huge credit card bills come flooding in, let alone how am I meant to keep my lips moisturised!

Nine times out of ten it is exactly where I left it, I just forgot and upon finding it there is a sigh of relief, a dropping of the shoulders and a sense of “phew, all is right with the world.”

So the other day when fear and doubt were creeping in I realised I couldn’t find my faith in quite a few things that I believe in, including myself. There was that sense of panic, a sense of dis-ease, a feeling of “Holy Hannah what on earth is going on and what am I meant to do?” Yes the palms got sweaty, the shoulders rocketed up and were battling with my earrings and all in all it was supremely uncomfortable. Thus, I got up and went outside, looked at my feet on the earth, found the gorgeous spring flowers that are slowly pushing up their bobbly heads and took a moment to breathe, to breathe in trust, to breathe in faith, to just breathe and calm my mind and find my center.

Ever so slowly I could feel my shoulders creeping down and by the time I walked back inside it was if I could see my gorgeous handbag of faith sitting on the chair where I must have left it, and just forgot. The flooding of calm, reconnection, a sense of all is right with the world again was delicious. So, I think I am going to work with the image of a handbag and my faith bag is a gorgeous red and purple one, with pockets to hold all I love, zippers to keep things safe, a strong shoulder strap so I can take it anywhere with me – and perhaps a GPS locator device in case I forget.
