September is here and the energy has changed. Fall Equinox is coming!

Happy Melodious, Musical, Magickal, Miraculous, Magnetic, Majestic, Manifesting Monday! 

September is here, you can smell the difference in the air here.  The mornings are cooler and the geese have started flying and the acorns are dropping like mini grenades as I walk under the Garry Oaks!  

I love September (I know for some that sounds weird), but I love the impending Fall, it’s a time of harvest, a gathering together. 

The mornings are crisper, the days are still warm, but there is that sense of change.

Kids are going back to school, starting a new class and making new friends.  University starts again and all sorts of courses such as drumming, music, spanish and a myriad of others are offered up.

The lazy, hazy days of summer are winding down and there is a shift in the energy that invites us to try something new (even if you aren’t school age) and to be willing to release the old that may be a tad too tight (like a kids outgrown running shoes).  

There is also a sense of melancholy for some people when Fall starts to whisper with her crisp breathe.  The leaves are going to change and then drop from the tree and the days are most certainly getting shorter – and for some this can feel uncomfortable and lonely.  Which I can totally appreciate.

Fall Equinox is almost here (and I love this celebration).  It is known as Mabon and is the second harvest,  beginning of August we celebrated the first harvest festival which was Lammas. 

This festival is a time to look at the seeds that you sowed in the Spring, on every level, and reflect on how they have manifested.  Most crops are in and the fields are beginning to look brown and are slowly going to sleep for the winter (unless they are filled with gorgeous orange pumpkins). 

This is a time to celebrate the abundance and the harvest, as well as to make plans for the winter and to create community. But we will explore that more over the next couple of weeks. 

The energy of September (according to the ever amazing Lena), has changed and it is RATTLING THE CAGE!  (Gulp!)  

As Lena shares:-  “

This month we have 2 eclipses and the Equinox making for an intense time of rattling the structures of our foundations of stability, old patterns and anything we may be fiercely attached to. We have heard the phrase, “shaken to awaken” from others and that is exactly the energy of this eclipse time. 

The more stubborn the structure, the more intense the rattling and shake up may be.

Some of you may experience traumatic events that open your instinctive center of survival, giving you the opportunity to clear old patterns and dump karmic debris.

And for some of you the rattling may be simply an experience of discomfort in a situation where you receive more clarity about what you really want, leading to better choices in your life. Whatever the case may be, the most important thing is to manage the aftermath proactively so you can use the lessons and guidance of the events to support your own change.

We are unpacking the trigger of the last New Moon in Virgo that prompted a new beginning. While our energy field got the message, the old habits of the personality and the physical body are slow to catch up and need some prompting and reminding of what we don’t want. So stay out of judgment, blame and martyrdom if you find yourself in one of these reminder situations, and know you have created it for yourself to fast track your personal growth and transformation.”

We are in the midst of the Eclipse portal and the invitation to really step into who you are, what you desire, is huge!

Okay, I have chuntered a ton (not a surprise), so let’s crack on with the reading. 

When I went to the cards and asked who would like to guide this week, the glorious Faery Forest Oracle were adamant, which made me smile a lot. 

“May the wild green world and the wondrous beings of this Faery Forest heal us, inspire us and urge us all to become more who we truly are meant to be.”  

Re-read that last line about inspiring and urging us…… 

Okay, take a moment and come back to your body.  Just breathe yourself back. Allow in your mind’s eye the smell of the Fall air to whisper around you, the sense of the new and possible.  The pieces or desires you have put on the back burner.  Breathe it in, welcome it in.  Sit with it. 

And then when you are ready, pick a card or cards.

SHE WHO LAUGHS

There is within your life now a great heaviness, an earnestness, and a sense of great gravity to nearly every situation unfolding.  Yes, this is of great importance, and yes, there are consequences to consider. But it is time for you to receive the healing power of laughter, the power that lifts the darkness and releases energy that is stagnant, cold, and heavy from our energy field, indeed from our limbs and cells and hearts.

For you, this laughter is as necessary as surgery at this moment, as it will shake loose the cords strapping you tightly to burdens you no longer need to carry.

Let the light break through, and laugh – as without laughter, there can be no perspective, without laughter, there can be no movement forward, without laughter, there can be a sense of deep abiding resentment.  Lift this!! Let She Who Laughs begin to help you seek out moments, people, and situations that stir the sense of the ridiculousness within you, and let the healing and the release of laughter roll through you and lift away the pain at the centre of your being.  

Its time is passing.  It will melt away with tears of laughter that fall and cleanse and free you from the past….For now, the sun breaks through, and your eyes shine once again with mirth and joy.

Welcome back to the world of delight, friend.  It’s time.  

THE ANCIENT

The Ancient is so old she is almost beyond time.  She is able to speak the truth without compromise – as are you.  She is so old, has experienced so much, learned and taught so many lessons, that she has become powerful and influential, just as you are becoming, too.  So too are you growing older, coming into wisdom. She knows that while others are now going to come to you for advice and guidance, she sees your humanity – your faults and your flaws and your feelings of unworthiness.  She wishes to reassure you.

Others will come to you, seeking knowledge, awaiting a blessing, an initiation, and oblivious to the consequences of the path they wish to walk.  Wisdom, true wisdom, understands complexity, and you have developed this quality. The Ancient is honourable and human, and yet more than human, and she is courageous and has made sacrifices – as have you.  She sees straight through comforting illusions – as do you.

She represents ancient tradition and the challenge of defining the self, yet remaining with a tradition that you value – and this too is one of your challenges.  So take responsibility in your life. You will face the battle of choice, and you will be the antidote to gurus and dominant personalities who claim to have all the answers.  The Ancient recognises the challenge of being a teacher. This immersion in a world to learn the ancient arts and venerate wisdom and old ways can be expressed in many forms, but everything you are now learning has value.  She is the repository for ancient secrets and the contact between worlds. She is wise – and she has learned to consider every word that falls from her lips, even as she longs to call out for freedom. 

ASTRILD

When we love, we can gaze directly into the soul of another human being for a while.  This in-love sensation reminds us of who we can truly be when we connect with our own self-love.  We feel complete, adored, and we open wide to the experience. Energy surges through us, we crave the touch of the beloved.  

We are, for a time, quite mad.  The love fire has been lit within you, and you are being asked to allow your own self-love to ignite in return.  You are feeling sensual, ready to make love, to explore the boundaries of physical sensation, and you wish reality would simply leave you be for a time so you can fully explore this craving and desire.

About you is the sensation of fulfilment, of satisfaction, and for a time, you will live between the worlds while this powerful experience shakes you to the core.  And all the while, this faery being gazes into your heart, willing you to remember that not only do you love, you are worth loving.

Astrild’s cool green gaze observes the fire within you, and will remind you again and again that to love yourself, and to love another with all of your heart, is a kind of baptism, a blessing, a ritual, and a trial by fire.

Hello my darling, darling – can you believe it is the last Monday of July!

This is going to be the last reading until September as in August I am immersed in ceremony and ritual, writing and teaching and cooking up amazing offerings in my alchemist cauldron.

But I will be back! (Yes that is a threat lol).

In a chaotic world that continually tries to convince us that we are divided and not connected I had a huge smack in the face this weekend of how wrong and patriarchal that is!

On Saturday I had the honour of leading a gorgeous Blessing Way ceremony for my dear friend Verity who is about to become a mumma.  

This is a glorious ceremony and celebration filled with ritual, depth and is honouring the Divine Feminine and the transition into motherhood – honouring the mumma. 

Bringing us back to our roots!

This is a sacred celebration that crosses cultures and has been around for thousands of years thus is rich with wisdom, potency and magick, and each ceremony is specially crafted for the mumma to be to support them during labour and to welcome in a gorgeous new soul into the world.  

As I was setting up for the ceremony on Saturday in my sanctuary garden (as that is where Verity chose), one of the themes was the weaving together of all the women that would be attending and the plant allies lavender and rose.

I had made lavender lemonade, lavender shortbread cookies as part of the nibbles, and woven lavender posies and lavender oatmeal bath bags as gifts for everyone who was attending.

Then it hit me – lavender!

My sister loved, loved lavender and would have it with her all the time. For me it is Rose, I have it with me all the time!

Today (Monday) is my sister’s birthday and on this day 6 years ago my brother in law and I had the honour of bathing her in a bath with lavender and helping her pick out the outfit she wanted to wear as 4 of her treasured friends were going to come and celebrate her birthday at the Hospice with her for an hour in the afternoon.

After getting dressed she said she would have a little nap before everyone got there and she snuggled down on her bed in a room that I had filled with sunflowers, lavender and roses and that was the last time she was fully conscious.  She died 3 days later.

My brother in law (who lives in the UK) had phoned and left me a lovely long voice message on Saturday about how he wanted to get more lavender plants and put them in the garden as they reminded him of Fi and how he wanted one of the Hansa Roses (that are my favourite as their smell is divine) to sit in the middle of them.

Wowzer, wowzer, talk about all the threads that weave us together.

Birth and Death.

Celebration and Grief.

Scents and Memories.

Heart and Hands.

What connects us is often unseen—woven in story, memory, and heart.

So if you ever feel that you are alone and that you are out there on your own – please remember that you aren’t.  

In the spaces between words, hands, and moments—we find the fabric of belonging.

I will say the Blessing Way was epic, beautiful, raw and real and hummingbirds and dragonflies came to play with all of us as we were surrounded by the green of my magickal sanctuary.

And today, I am going to play with lavender and make a glorious cake in honour of my most amazing sister that I love dearly.

Okay, enough chuntering on, let’s crack on with the reading.

REISHI

Retreat

Called lingzhi in Chinese, Reishi represents immortality and is considered the “herb of spiritual potency,” meaning success, well-being, divine power, and longevity.

Said to have been discovered in 396 BC in the Changbai Mountains of China by Taoist monks, it is one of the oldest mushrooms used in medicine.  It has long been called an anti-aging mushroom and powerful Shen tonic, a category of medicines that “nourish the spirit.”

Reishi powerfully influences our main spiritual centres: the endocrine, nervous, and hormonal systems.  Hormones powerfully impact our perception, mood, sleep-wake cycles, ability to bond with others, and awareness of reality.  They activate the nervous system, which is also directly related to igniting mystical experiences.

Reishi is ruled by Jupiter, the “guru of planets,” the one that dictates how we derive wisdom and access to the mysteries of life.  

Reishi is inviting you to Pause.  It’s time for renewal.  

If you feel overwhelmed or mentally overloaded, it’s time to retreat.  Take the time to recuperate and recharge, and personal growth will follow.  Overstimulation and indecision lead to a sense of weakness, imprisonment, and a feeling that you are evading death.  

Like Bear, hibernate or rest before you take on the next project or challenge.

Many Native American tribes have called this space of inner contemplation the Dream Lodge, a place to witness death and see beyond the confines of physical reality by visiting the dreamtime.  

Create the space to be in silence and calm the internal chatter.  Take time for reflection and nurturing yourself (and we all have that time).

MITRAGYNIA

Shape Shifting 

The Indigenous peoples of Southeast Asia have valued the power of this rainforest tree for thousands of years and have used it as a poultice to treat wounds, as well as treatment for a variety of symptoms, including stress, pain, fatigue and fever.

Like Coca leaves in the South American highlands, fresh leaves from the Mitragynia tree are chewed for energy and stamina throughout the day.  

Mitragynia was revered among monks in Asia, as it assisted them during long periods of meditation by providing focused attention and positive energy.  

Mitragynia embodies elements of both Saturn and Neptune, as it profoundly relieves and decompresses the musculoskeletal system, while granting a freeing and euphoric feeling to the body-mind.

Used in the right amounts, it can greatly assist those with addiction (Neptune).

The balanced side of Mitragynia represents the ability to shapeshift and adapt across realities.  

Like the Dragonfly, Mitragynia grants us the power to break through the illusionary facade we often accept as reality, providing us the freedom from pain in order to break through limiting illusions.

Dragonflies, like Mitragynia, help us initiate subconscious healing from the trauma experienced from endless cycles of pain and suffering.  

Dragonfly medicine invites us to seek out the parts of our habits that have gone unchanged, unnoticed, and stagnant.

Ask yourself, have I tended to the changes I’ve been wanting to make?

Don’t get lost in the labyrinths of self-doubt.  

Break free from illusive belief systems that hold back your transformation.

ANGEL’S TRUMPET

Death

Angel’s Trumpets have an intoxicating scent and flowers that resemble angelic horns aimed downward, symbolising the call of the angels to humanity.

Plants in the Brugmansia genus and relatives like Daturas have a rich history of use among shamans and magic practitioners, even though they are poisonous.

Some South American Indigenous groups, like the Kamsa, Jivaro, and Ingano, initiate their children at a young age into the path of curanderismo – becoming a healer – by ingesting Angel’s Trumpet during a flower ceremony.  

Jivaro boys who walk the shamanic path are given the medicine at the age of six to acquire an external-vision-producing soul that lets them communicate with ancestors called arutam wakani.

Angel’s Trumpet is ruled by Pluto and Mars.  

Angel’s Trumpet signals a time of catharsis or death.  

A deep emotional breakdown is due or near.  You may feel lost in your own emotional despair, depression, shame, or unworthiness, but now the angels of discernment and darkness are here to support you.

Coming eye to eye with the darkest feelings within yourself catalyses the greatest awakening.  Deeply pause, let go of control, and witness the broken pieces within yourself with loving awareness.

The medicine of the Bat symbolises the need for a ritualistic death of relations, situations, or aspects of life.  

Bat, like Angel’s Trumpet, signals catharsis and rebirth, signalling literal or metaphysical death of old patterns and worn out habits.

Understand that you can reconstruct at any time, create something new, deeper, richer and more in alignment, regardless of how shattered you feel.  

Wowzer!  Love these messages and they tie into the monthly energy (and you seriously can’t make this shit up!)

It’s Okay to Be Kind and the Buck/Blessing Moon this week remind us of that.

How were your celebrations?  I stayed low key on Canada Day as my quad is torn, so being around 70,000 people was not my jam.

And with a torn quad I couldn’t go walk in the Pride parade, but I could go watch, which was fabulous.

Okay, let’s have a brief chat about resentment, forgiveness and being kind, shall we?

After all we have the Blessing Full Moon on July 10th – so let’s frigging do it!

So I had an interesting experience this week.  First off it’s my nature to be kind and to help where I can, hence why I work as a counsellor, lay chaplain, spiritual guide, assist people as they are dying, healing, birthing with ritual and love. Okay?

So one of my boys phoned to let me know my ex-husband had moved here into basically a shit pit and had hip surgery at 54 years old on July 2nd, and could I please help him get the space together (I mean there weren’t even frigging appliances in the space!)

Appreciating I haven’t really talked to my ex husband for 20 years as he turned our marriage into an abusive, narcissistic, toxic festival – which was why I left with 5 kids and walked away.

But I’ve done a lot of work and forgiveness around that marriage, and I am grateful for the children that we created (and believe me, when I say a lot of work – I mean a lot of work of letting go of old stories, abuse, diminishment etc!)

So when my boyyo asked for help with this, of course my response was YES!

Why?  

Because as I said – I have done the work which is some of what I teach.  I don’t hold resentment, to me it’s a person who needs help.  

So yes, I can go clean the shit hole and make it presentable before he gets out of hospital.

Yes, I can make soups galore and healthy snacks to support him through this healing process.  

Yes, I can grab him a microwave and a kettle (remember, no appliances) and boyyo is grabbing a small fridge.  So he can heal, eat and thrive.

Interestingly enough when I talked to my best friend and told her that I was doing this, she railed all over me!  “Don’t  you remember the broken bones, don’t you remember the toxic emails, don’t you remember…………”

Yes, I do.  

“You can’t do this, he would never do it for you!”

No he wouldn’t (he’s a narcissist).  But that’s his path, not mine.

It’s okay to be kind as long as you aren’t doing it out of a caretaking energy or a people pleasing.

As humans, we are all interdependent and connected and we can only do what we can do.  But holding onto resentment, judgement and the stories one has created are toxic to you, not them.

So I am choosing to be kind, as he is a human being – but more so for my kids sake as they were the ones that asked.  

Over the years I have sent this man Blessings galore, as one of the most powerful gifts you can give someone is a Blessing.  

Now when I use the word Blessing, I’m not talking about the Bible interpretation.  

One of my favourite authors, John O’Donohue, says that a blessing is an innovation, a calling forth.  


The word may is often used in blessings because it imagines and wills the fulfillment of desire.

It’s more a case of calling in grace, love, something bigger than myself to offer support, and let’s be honest – you can offer up a Blessing for anything. 

 It could be a person who you feel has done you wrong, you can bless those that you see struggling, you can bless a situation, you can bless a meal.  It’s the inviting in of something far, far bigger than yourself to enter the space with loving kindness.  

I find it super powerful, give Blessing a try.  What do you have to lose?

Being Kind, Blessings and the Solstice energy tie in deliciously with the Buck/Blessing Moon energy which is coming in on July 10th..

The spiritual meaning of this Moon is a powerful time for abundance, strength, passion and blessings.  

This moon is a lovely time to reflect on your life and decide what steps you’d like to take next. What vistas are you willing to perceive in your life? What are you open to?

Make time for fun and joy! Turn off technology and be present in the joyous season of summer. 

Find activities that fill up your soul with happiness and pleasure as this is when blessings galore come flooding in.

The full moon illuminates a time of heightened emotions and potent creativity.

There is nothing quite like being outside under the light of a full moon. The full moon has been the inspiration for poetry, songs, and movies, (remember the 1987 classic Moonstruck?) The full moon’s spiritual meaning illuminates a time of heightened emotions and potent creativity.

When the moon is fully illuminated by the sun’s rays, the view from Earth is that of a complete orb, seemingly emitting its own light. Time spent under this reflected light of the full moon has the power to be transformational, intense, and inspiring. It can also add intensity to whatever emotions are living in you, so it’s helpful to be intentional about what you are focusing on.

The full moon offers an opportunity to sit in the fullness of your life. It is a time to feel deep gratitude for the many blessings you have and experience. 

Now enough chuntering from me, let’s crack on with the reading.   When I went to the cards to ask who would like to be present this week it made my heart smile to see who showed up.  The amazing Faery Blessing guides were most adamant.  As after all, who doesn’t need a Blessing?

Now if these guides are new to you, please let me introduce them as it would be rude not to.

Faeries are present in every droplet of water, every blade of grass – they are everywhere there is a trace of nature – thus every field, flower, and forest is theirs.  They inhabit the wild rainforests and the old castles; they dance within standing stones and burial mounds; they are on the top of mountains and within the grove deep in the valley; and they appear in the cracks in the pavement and beneath the cities in the old, tangled tree roots.  Faeries are part of this world, and they were here before we were born into this world, and they know us better than we know ourselves.  

For humans, many of us have lost our sense of play, our sense of relationship with nature, our courage to be ourselves – as well as our hope, creativity, and personal power.  We have looked outside of ourselves and nature and the sacred ones for answers, and in doing so, we have become quite lost.  The blessings of the faeries can bring us back into relationship with ourselves, back into relationship with the elements and the elementals, so that we can become more at home within the world, while creating a personal world which supports our dreams, our wishes, and our purpose.  

Yes!  Positively perfect!

So gorgeous one take a breath.  Just a normal breath and then as you carry on breathing allow it to slow down.  Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.  Allow in your mind’s eye a gorgeous rainbow swirl to form, this pattern is made of loss and abundance.  It holds any anger, resentment or grief you may feel about a person, place, situation or thing and it melds with the abundance and appreciation of who you are.  As you breathe just let it swirl, you don’t have to control it.  

Then with this energy pick the card or cards that call to you.  What Blessing is for you this week?

A BLESSING FROM QUEEN MAB

The Faery Gift of Being the Ruler of Your Own World

With this faery gift from the formidable and enchanting faery queen, Queen Mab, comes the blessing of being the owner of your own life.  This is a powerful blessing indeed, for with this blessing comes the most precious gift of all, that of knowing that your life is yours to live.  

With this blessing, let you now take up the reins of your life, let you decide what it is you do, and who it is you are, and who you are now becoming.  It is your life, this wild and sweet thing, to be lived only once, and it is rare and priceless.  You shall no longer be owned, nor forced, nor pushed, nor pulled, for with her gift comes the solidity of determining your own fate – for you are a being who has often been pressured to give away the crown that declares that you are the sovereign.  With this blessing, it is returned to you.

Let yourself be a queen, a king, and know your world is as great as any other person’s.  Your life is a jewel, and no more shall you spend it pleasing others.  When this blessing comes to you, all who you know you will love and support you, and you will now take back the power that you gave away.  You will climb the stairs to your throne and look upon your world and know that you will be a strong leader of your own soul.  And you will inspire others to do the same.

With this gift from Queen Mab will come the sure knowledge of what is wise for you to do, and what would be foolish, and to know the difference between pleasing others and doing what is in the very best interest of the path of your soul.

You faery friend, are a magnificent being, and your life, your world, and your very being are royal.  Be most loyal to your ownself, and know now the gift of great and deep self-respect, and of choosing what is right for you.

A BLESSING OF A FAERY GUARDIAN

A Faery Gift of Magickal Protection and Lifelong, True Loving Care.

At your birth into this world, human child, a faery came to you and offered you the blessings of your soul.  For each of us, this blessing will be unique, created especially for the journey we are destined to take in this lifetime.  So, with this blessing, may you know again the beauty and sweetness of your own faery godmother, your faery guardian.  For she is still with you, helping to ease the way and remind you, as often as she is able to pierce the veil, that you are her charge, and she will remain with you all the days of this life.

May you now feel the presence of her love; may you feel that sense of being looked out for, that there is one being from the elemental world who works with your soul and helps you at all times.  

When this blessing comes, tune in to her presence and know that all about you there is comfort, and goodness, and a way to move through all difficulties.  Yoru faery guardian has always been with you this lifetime, and will remain until you have journeyed on.  Know you are her most precious charge, and when times become troubled, and life seems bleak, know there is a being whose duty it is to bring you back to hope, to optimism, to the sense that you are a gifted, cherished being.  Feel now the love of the faery guardian, your own faery godmother, and believe again in your own blessedness.

A gift is given this day to you, a blessing of the faeries true.  This gift is that of the long vision, the ability to see the consequences of actions taken in the present and, indeed, the outcome of decisions of the past.  With this blessing of clear foresight, may you be blessed with the ability to see the lasting influence of what it is you choose to do – what will you be granting to the future of this world, to the children, to the ones who come after.

May you understand, therefore, what would be best for you to do, not only for your own self – though it is good and right for you to think of yourself – but of what is best for those  you love and for those who come after us all.  For the faeries love long, and see many a human unable to contemplate beyond their own needs – and, in that moment, unthinking of consequences, create a future they do not wish to inhabit fully.  With this amazing faery gift, this enchanted ability to see further into the dimension of time, you will make the best decision for yourself now and for the future and the future of others.  Time unfurls before you, a green scroll unwritten upon, but one upon which you can see what could come.

Pride and Prejudice! Welcome to July.

Happy Magickal, Mythical, Moxie, Melodious, Marvellous, Magnetic, Mirthy, Manifesting Monday!

July is here! Do you realise we are half way through the year (and what a year it has been!)

We have Canada Day on July 1st and I am going to go and participate in some of the celebrations, but I will say hanging out with 10,000 people is very short lived for me.  Let alone with the heat!  So there will be glorious garden time for rest, relax and play. 

Then of course the US has July 4th celebrations (which means they get a long weekend!) Lucky buggers.

Here, in the city where I live, we have had Pride month and it culminates with a fantabulous parade next weekend!  

I have to say I love Pride month, a time to celebrate the diversity of the human package that we come in.  As an ally I honour each person’s right to choose who they are, how they identify and whom they choose to love.  

When I was a teen in Oxford, most of my closest friends were people who were a good 15 years older than me, and were gay men.  Gosh!  I had so much fun, I learned a lot and I always felt safe, loved and appreciated.  

There was a lovely chap called Gaz who was an incredible illustrator and would create the most magickal, whimsical imagery for children’s books and he would share the most amazing stories.   He was a very special person.  

A couple of years ago I helped run a booth, because as a lay chaplain and someone who performs ceremonies, rituals, weddings and funerals it felt important to share that diversity and inclusivity were welcome.

I dressed as a glorious butterfly, thanks to my amazing niece who has a tickle trunk of costumes and odds and bits, and had the most amazing connections and conversations!

This year, I will be helping carry a 50 foot long Pride Flag and dressing as a dark faery, armed with bubble wands galore! 

So I will say the people who come out to heckle the parade, or the ones that sabotage some of the pride banners that the city had painted and created on the walkways, really?

I appreciate there are some people who don’t “approve” of diversity, inclusiveness and want everyone to conform to their ideal and opinion.

But in my world – everyone has an opinion, just like an arsehole.  

Doesn’t mean I want to hear it, smell it or see it!  (Just saying!)

I hope we get to a place and time where we can include and accept everyone, with no regards to colour, gender, identity, religious beliefs and so much more.  That would be an amazing healing for the human race and to be honest, our planet.  

Okay, enough chuntering, let’s crack on with the reading.  When I went to the guides and cards to ask who was willing to support and guide this week – there was no choice whatsoever.   These guides were adamant they wanted to support.

So if these are new guides to you, please let me introduce you.

Faeries are magical beings who are guardians and protectors of our precious planet.  They care for plants, flowers and trees, and us daft humans.  They want everyone to experience their ancient wisdom and to feel reconnected to the Earth, our home, and to self.  

The faeries are delighted to spiritually support and encourage you on this fantastic journey as you walk upon the faery path.  And they remind you – there’s more to life than what you can see with your physical eyes.  

Okay sweetie, let’s take a moment to drop in.  Take a glorious deep breath out and allow the energy that you have been holding in your lungs to expel.  Then take a glorious deep breath in and invite in the energy of inclusivity, what does that feel like for you?  Let that energy meld into your heart space and gently open.

Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

HEALING

Healing can take many forms, even just through listening – when we feel we’re being heard it can make us feel better, so people who have the ability to listen with love and without judgement are already healers.

Sometimes just being in the presence of someone who is receptive to our thoughts and feelings can help us to feel uplifted and healed.

Do you feel you are able and willing to give this healing?

Hands-on healing is a technique many feel drawn to, and perhaps this is something you, too, wish to explore.  Are you in need of healing yourself?  Is there something that you are pushing through “because it’s expected?”

It’s important to listen to your body, mind and soul and take time out so it can heal naturally.  Make sure you’re getting all of the correct vitamins and nutrients.  And remember sleep can also be an amazing healer.

Explore healing therapies that may be new to you, such as aromatherapy, flower essences, hands on healing, art therapy, colour therapy – whatever piques your interest.

Believe and trust that you have the capacity to heal yourself and others.  Explore and embrace that piece of yourself and allow it to flow.

HOPE

Hope is the key to the door that can lead you away from any predicament you are in.  

No matter how hopeless things may seem, if you look deep inside your heart your spiritual heart wisdom will reveal a glimmer of hope, and this can lead you to a brighter future.  

This gorgeous faery reminds us to always tap into hope, because looking for hope and joy and changing your beliefs can literally change your future.

As you can see on the card a rainbow and a dove of peace are shown and they often come together reminding us that anything is possible.  Sometimes we just need an extra boost, so the faeries fly in on the wings of a dove to let us know that they’re with you with any difficulties you are experiencing.

Remaining hopeful while those around you are full of doubt and negativity can be extra challenging, but remember that hope comes from deep within our hearts and is an excellent habit to cultivate.

Heart wisdom and hope will see you through whatever is going on for you and those around you right now, so have courage and trust as the Faery of Hope walks hand in hand with peace and miracles.

NATURE’S SIGNS

The faeries love to leave hints and clues for us in nature. It’s one of the many creative ways in which they initiate communication with us.  

For example, faeries often leave feathers or release floating dandelion seeds to let us know they’re nearby.  The appearance of a friendly bird, such as a robin, is another message that they are close by.

Faeries and other creatures often work together as they’re all in harmony with the Earth, whose wisdom can come in many forms.  Just allow yourself to be receptive and use your intuition to decipher any signs that you see.  

If possible, sit next to a flowing stream and visualise your cares being resolved and any concerns flowing away.  Alternatively, imagine your hopes and wishes flowing towards you, looking out for any significant signs from nature as you do so.  

You could also leave your own sign for the faeries next time you’re out in nature, letting them know  you wish to connect with them.  Leaving a tiny wooden fairy door next to a tree is a sure sign to the fey that you’re a faery friend.  

The faeries will pick up on your intentions and help to manifest them.  If you don’t have access to a stream, it can be just as effective to visualise the process.

Possibilities, Chronos – Kairos Time and The New Moon in Cancer.

Happy Mysterious, Marvellous, Musing, Magickal, Mellifluous, Manifesting Monday!

How was your Solstice?  Did you take some time to soak up the sun’s energy and light your inner flame?  The things that make you feel filled with passion, hope and joy?  I hope so!

As Solstice arrived at 7:42pm on Friday, friends came over – we shared food and then wrote all our releases on coconuts (yes, I did say coconuts). Then hiked to the top of a glorious rocky park and smashed them, whilst roaring!

Letting the coconut feed the birds and the releases flow into the ether.

On Saturday, the plan was to go down to the ocean and make a flower mandala. But it was a glorious, supremely rainy day (which I was so happy about).

So instead of getting a tad OCD and saying “this has to happen today”, I’m reminding myself of the power of Kairos time.

Chronos time is the linear, measurable time we typically live by.

In contrast, Kairos time is about the opportune moment, the qualitative “right time” rather than a quantitative measurement. It’s about significance, meaning, and a sense of readiness. When it comes to acknowledging dates like the Summer Solstice, Kairos time invites us to go beyond the calendar and focus on intention over obligation. 

Thus, I went on Sunday and built a flower mandala from foraged wild flowers right next to the tide line, so the ocean could take my intentions and emotions away as the tide rose. (Totally tweaked someone walking by, but that’s their stuff).

Having set intentions by the ocean before on Litha that have changed my life – it was positively perfect!

It’s incredibly powerful to allow and watch the ocean gently take your creation and float further and further from shore, as it slowly unravels.

So let’s talk about Possibilities shall we?

I bring up Possibility as with the Solstice just passed, this is the time to really look inwards and outwards and see what you can create, manifest, call into being or try.

I was listening to something the other day and a Chinese Medical Practitioner shared that when someone dies of old age what is really happening is their heart stops believing in Possibilities.

So when someone dies of old age, their heart no longer sees possibilities for that lifetime and their spirit departs.

Sit with that for a minute.  Mull the word Possibilities around in your mind for a moment.

On a deep and tangible level Possibility opens our heart to the experience of life.  

Possibility is the very thing that makes life worth living. That gives our Spirit something to live for on this planet.

The opposite of Possibility is when we feel stagnant, stuck, trapped or confused.  Which we all experience at some point or another and is one of the most blaugh feelings in the world.

However, what is happening here is your Spirit is asking you to perceive Possibility again.

Possibility is asking this question – “What opportunities are here for me?”

Possibility is looking at a dead end and seeing that the path continues.  You may not know where it’s going, but it’s there waiting for you to see it and take a step onto it.

Possibility opens our heart to the truth of life’s wonder and connects us back to where we are meant to be, which is allowing the Divine to dance with us.  

Possibility opens the portal of our perception.

…….and most often times our perception is rather limited.  

When we are in the mindset of Possibility we are able to see new ideas, innovations, ways of being that we couldn’t see before.

So ask yourself this question – “In my dream of dreams what would be possible for me?”

The minute we step out of our daily routine and rut we are opening ourselves up to greater Possibilities.  

So are you willing this week to play with Possibilities?

Possibilities and the Solstice energy tie in deliciously with the Cancer Moon energy which is coming in on June 25th.

The spiritual meaning of this glorious New Moon in Cancer is Emotion, Intuition and Dreams and desires. (Possibilities if you will).

This moon is a lovely time to reflect on your life and decide what steps you’d like to take next. What vistas are you willing to perceive in your life? What are you open to?

Cancer is feeling, longing, safety, the tides of our unseen inner world.

Cancer is memory, intuition, the sacred feminine, soul history. It holds the blueprint of belonging – cyclical, non-linear, tending. It invites us to heal our relationship with feeling, to protect what matters, and to create a sacred sanctuary of home within ourselves.

The doorway into this Moon is feeling. It is emotion. And it is presence with every hurt, every pattern, every message – from both within and without – that once taught us we were not safe to feel.

For this Moon, this celestial gift offers so much – is hugely bountiful in its offerings.

It wants to give us the world. Its hands stretched out with our hopes and dreams, with our yearnings and quiet desires. But we cannot receive this beauty if we cannot open to feeling. 

The doorway is emotion.

Find activities that fill up your soul with happiness and pleasure as this is when possibilities come flooding in.

Feel all the feels and allow boundaries to encompass them. Yes?

So with all of that chuntering on, let’s crack on with the reading.  When I went to the guides and cards and asked who wanted to show and shine – the deck that came out loud and proud this week is Love Your Inner Goddess Oracle.  Perfect!  As we could all do with loving ourselves a wee bit more and being a tad more gentle and kind whilst we open up to all the delicious possibilities that are available to us.

So gorgeous one, breathe.  Just breathe, BE and allow yourself to relax, your mind to calm, your breath to slow and ask your wise inner self – what do I need to know this week.  Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that tug at your heartstrings – don’t let your mind pick!

BRIGHT DESTINY

To become truly yourself, shining your divine beauty and light, you will go through a process of releasing what is no longer right and true for you. 

Like the caterpillar who sheds the chrysalis when it is time to emerge as the butterfly, you will let go of the person you once thought you needed to be.  

This can feel freeing, exciting.  It can also seem frightening.  

You may feel crazy sometimes, trying to hold onto a past that is no longer available to you and grasping for a future that is yet to be.  

Sometimes, it can feel like a dark night of the soul, filled with questioning and confusion.  

Others may not understand what is happening, and you may feel as though you can’t really explain it, either.  In such times, we have to trust that all the changes and uncertainty are part of a process of growth – letting go in order to open up to something amazing and new.  

This is happening for you now.  You don’t have to be afraid.  You are going through this because you are ready for it, even if you think you’re not.  

There is a loving reason for all of it, even if you cannot see that right now.  

Put your faith in the mystery.  Trust that the answers will come – and so will the joy of all that you have grown into.  Stay true to your path and know that you have a bright destiny ahead.

For now, let the process happen.  Fear can make us try to force something that isn’t quite ready yet.  Don’t try to impose a meaning, take action or understand it all prematurely.  Don’t think too hard! 

 It’s OK to relax and trust that the moment of clarity will come when the time is right.

PRIORITY OF PURPOSE

Making a choice can be hard, as if to say yes to one thing, you have to say no to fifteen other things!  Remember that saying no is just saying, “not right now”, rather than “never”.  

There is a higher plan for your life that includes all of your passions.  You can do it all, but just not all at once.  

Your soul knows how to build your most inspired and beautiful divine life, as though it were building an extraordinary temple for your spirit.  

It knows that the foundations need to be prepared and the walls built before the windows, doors and skylight can be installed.  The roof may be absolutely one-of-a-kind incredible, but if you try to lay the roof before you’ve built the walls, you are going to have some problems!

There is a certain order to how things need to happen, which the soul intuitively knows.  

That is why listening to the soul and trusting your inner guiding voice makes more sense than trying to accomplish everything straight away and ending up with so much less than you deserve for all that effort.  

Every moment of patience and sacrifice that you make now is stored up by the Universe as a sweet grace that you will receive back later, as everything falls into place so perfectly.  

Tune in and trust your soul to show you how to gain everything you ever dreamed of, one simple step at a time.  

EARTH GODDESS

You have beautiful dreams and wonderful visions of what life could be.  It is not enough to imagine them.  You want to live them!  This is exactly how you are meant to feel.  

For that to happen, you must practise feeling grounded, taking practical earthly steps, one at a time, to bring your dreams to life.  The Universe will send so much help your way, but you are the one who must take the steps.  Spirit cannot do that for you.  

Even if you are not sure how your biggest, boldest dreams can come together, you can still ask yourself, “What is it that I can do now?”

Sometimes, it will be an obvious action that you can take, and, sometimes you will need to pray and meditate and ask for the way forward to be shown.  

When you can do something, do it.  When you cannot, rest and wait for your intuition to nudge you when the time is right to take action. 

Remember, you are an Earth Goddess.  You have the power to manifest your visions, to bring your beautiful ideas to life in the world.  This is what you are here to do.  Remember to love yourself enough to recognise your creative power and use it joyfully each day.

There’s a fantasy that wants to become reality for you.  Don’t let a few gritty moments or human imperfections prevent you from experiencing the joy of heaven on Earth.
