Metaphysical

Coming Home

Gorgeous Soul,

Have you ever had one of those weeks where life seems to keep whispering the very same message, but through completely different voices?

One moment it’s a musical.

The next it’s a football match.

Then it’s a parade.

Then you look up into the night sky and realise the Moon has been whispering it all along.

That was this week for me.

It started with a trip to see Kinky Boots, and oh my giddy aunt… what an extraordinary evening! The music was infectious, the performances were phenomenal and the energy in the theatre had everyone grinning from ear to ear.

Yet underneath all the sequins, sass and spectacular boots lay something much deeper.

The show is inspired by the true story of Steve Pateman, whose family shoe factory was on the brink of bankruptcy. Rather than closing the doors on four generations of family history, he found an unexpected path forward by creating fabulous thigh-high boots for drag artists and transgender women under the wonderfully named “Divine Footwear.“

Who would have thought that a struggling shoe factory could become a story about belonging?

One lyric has stayed with me ever since.

“Accept yourself and you’ll accept others too.”

Such simple words.

Yet perhaps they are some of the bravest words any of us will ever live.

How much of our lives have we spent trying to fit into shoes that were never made for us?

How often have we squeezed ourselves into other people’s expectations, softened our edges, dimmed our light or apologised for the very qualities that make us beautifully unique?

Then Sunday arrived with our glorious Pride Parade.

The streets became awash with colour, music, feathers, laughter and love. People danced without embarrassment. Families cheered from the sidelines. Friends hugged complete strangers. Creativity flowed through every costume and every smile.

What struck me most wasn’t simply the celebration.

It was the feeling.

For a few precious hours, people weren’t trying to become someone acceptable.

They were simply allowing themselves to be seen.

And isn’t that what every human heart longs for?

Not approval.

Belonging.

The freedom to stand in our own skin and know we are enough.

Then came Saturday’s FIFA quarter-final between Norway and the UK.

What a match!

Ninety minutes wasn’t enough. Then came another thirty minutes of extra time before the UK finally prevailed.

But strangely, the score isn’t what I’ll remember.

Before a single ball was kicked, both teams stood together in silence to honour a 25-year-old South African footballer who had recently passed away.

For one quiet moment, competition dissolved. There was only shared humanity.

Then, after giving absolutely everything they had, players from opposing teams embraced one another with genuine warmth and respect. There were hugs. Smiles. Encouragement. No bitterness. No grandstanding. Simply an acknowledgement that someone else’s success never diminishes our own.

As I reflected on the week, all these seemingly separate moments began weaving themselves together.

Authenticity. Compassion. Courage. Belonging. Home.

Then I realised why.

The Cancer New Moon arrives on Tuesday.

She doesn’t come crashing in with fireworks or fanfare. She arrives like the tide—quietly, steadily, almost unnoticed until you realise the shoreline has changed.

Cancer is the Moon’s own sign. She is water, memory, ancestry and belonging.

She is the keeper of the hearth, the guardian of home, the Divine Mother who reminds us that there is extraordinary strength in tenderness.

She is also the shape of you that existed before you became so very good at accommodating everyone else.

Before you learned to make yourself smaller so others would feel more comfortable.

Before you apologised for your sensitivity.

Before you convinced yourself that your intuition wasn’t to be trusted.

Before you forgot what your own heart sounded like.

This New Moon doesn’t ask you to become someone new.

She simply invites you to remember.

To remember the parts of yourself that have always been there, patiently waiting beneath the layers of expectation, responsibility and survival.

Like water, memory has a remarkable way of finding its own path home.

Perhaps that’s why Cancer is such a powerful moon for tending the heart. She encourages us to slow down long enough to hear our intuition whispering beneath all the noise.

She invites us to bless our homes, create sacred spaces, honour our ancestors, work with our dreams, strengthen our emotional boundaries and nourish the people—and the parts of ourselves—that have quietly been asking for a little more love.

This isn’t a moon of striving. It’s a moon of returning.

Returning to your own wisdom. Returning to your own rhythms.

Returning to the version of yourself that existed before the world convinced you that you had to earn your place by accommodating everyone else.

As I look back over this past week, I can’t help but smile.

The theatre reminded me.

Pride reminded me.

Football reminded me.

And now the Moon is reminding me too.

Perhaps the greatest act of courage isn’t becoming someone extraordinary.

Perhaps it’s remembering who you have always been.

So when Tuesday’s New Moon rises, light a candle.

Bless your home. Pull a card. Sit quietly with a cup of tea. Listen to the silence between your thoughts.

Ask yourself, “Where have I abandoned myself in order to belong?”

Then ask an even gentler question.

“What would it feel like to come home?”

Have a beautiful Cancer New Moon, delicious lovely. I highly suggest you try this glorious ritual called The Untying (it’s easy, you have everything you need and it’s power is woosah!)

May your home be filled with peace, your heart with compassion and your spirit with the quiet certainty that you have always belonged—exactly as you are.

The Untying

A Ritual for Releasing What No Longer Needs Your Grip

There comes a moment when we realise we have been holding on for so long that our hands have forgotten what it feels like to rest.

Perhaps you’ve been gripping a relationship long after it changed. A schedule that leaves no room to breathe. Expectations that were never truly yours. Or perhaps you’ve been holding tightly to an older version of yourself simply because she’s familiar.

We clutch because we love. Because we hope. Because we fear what happens if we let go.

But what if letting go isn’t an ending?

What if it’s simply making space for something truer?

This is a ritual of gentle release. There is nothing dramatic here. No grand declarations. No need to force forgiveness or have all the answers.

Just one knot at a time.

You Will Need

  • A length of natural thread, cord or ribbon
  • A candle (white for clarity, or any colour that calls to you)
  • Matches or a lighter
  • A quiet place where you won’t be disturbed
  • A small bowl of water (optional, to represent flow and renewal)

The Ritual

Light your candle and take a few slow, easy breaths.

Feel your feet upon the earth. Notice the weight of your body being held.

Take your length of thread or cord and begin tying knots into it.

One knot for each thing you know you’re gripping just a little too tightly.

A person.

A worry.

A plan.

A disappointment.

A version of yourself you’ve been carrying out of habit rather than desire.

There is no right number. Trust your hands.

When you’ve finished, sit quietly with the cord resting in your palms.

Then begin.

Untie one knot.

Slowly.

Without rushing.

You don’t have to name what each knot represents—not even to yourself. You don’t have to explain it. You don’t have to understand what comes next or what will fill the space it leaves behind.

Simply allow your fingers to loosen what your heart has carried.

One knot.

One breath.

One release.

Notice how different the cord feels as each knot disappears.

Notice how different you feel.

When every knot has been untied, hold the now-smooth thread in your hands for a moment.

Whisper softly:

“I release what no longer belongs in my hands. I trust what is finding its way to my heart.”

Sit with the candle for another minute or two.

Allow yourself to simply be.

When you are ready, extinguish the flame with gratitude, knowing that letting go isn’t about losing.

It is about creating room.

Room for peace. Room for possibility.

Room for the woman you are becoming.

Sometimes the hand already knows how to let go.

It has simply been waiting for your permission.

FIFA, Football, Fans & the Full Moon… When the Final Whistle Signals Change.

Jenny Heston · 2:12 pm · 1 Comment

Isn’t it fascinating how football can take over the whole world?

People who have never met suddenly become united by a colour, a chant, a flag, a team, a hope. Living rooms become stadiums. Snacks become sacred offerings.

Complete strangers hug in celebration, while others dramatically question every referee’s decision as though they themselves have been officiating the beautiful game for decades.

And honestly?

I love it.

Because underneath all the noise, the cheering, the collective holding of breath and the occasional theatrical dive (I’ll let you decide whether I’m talking about football or life), there is something beautifully human happening.

Everyone is waiting for that one moment when everything changes.

One pass.

One decision.

One goal.

One unexpected twist. In the blink of an eye, the entire game shifts.

Life isn’t all that different.

We make plans, settle into our routines and convince ourselves we know where we’re heading. Then, just like that, the whistle blows, the energy changes, and we’re invited to see the field from a completely different perspective.

Which feels wonderfully fitting as we come to the final reading of June.

Can you believe we’re already here?

June has been full of light, Summer Solstice fire, moments of celebration, unexpected lessons and, for many of us, quiet invitations to grow in ways we weren’t expecting. Now the Full Moon rises to cast her silver light across everything we’ve experienced, asking us to pause before we charge headlong into July.

Because that’s what Full Moons do so beautifully.

They illuminate.

They reveal.

They celebrate what has come to fruition while gently asking, “Is there anything you’re still carrying that no longer belongs in your story?“

Sometimes the answer arrives like a bolt of lightning.

Sometimes it arrives as a whisper.

And sometimes it simply settles into your heart with the quiet knowing that something has run its course.

That’s how this reading feels to me.

Not simply because it’s the last reading of June, but because it also marks the end of this chapter of our weekly readings.

If you’ve been journeying with me for a while, you’ll know how much I’ve loved these moments we’ve shared together. Sitting with the cards each week, listening to Spirit, laughing at how astonishingly accurate they can be, and watching so many of you find exactly the message you needed.

But life, much like football, isn’t meant to be played with the same formation forever.

Sometimes the coach changes the strategy.

Sometimes the players move into new positions.

And sometimes the biggest win comes because someone had the courage to trust that change was needed.

That’s where I find myself.

The work is calling me deeper.

There are new ideas quietly waiting in the wings, new ways of serving, teaching and creating that need space to breathe. Rather than continuing simply because it’s familiar, I’m choosing to honour what Spirit has been gently whispering for quite some time now.

It’s time.

Not an ending. An evolution.

So this week’s reading feels like a beautiful threshold.

It carries the excitement of football fans who know that one brilliant moment can change everything, and the ancient wisdom of the Full Moon, reminding us that every ending creates space for something new to be born.

Perhaps that’s your invitation too.

Where in your life are you still playing yesterday’s game?

Where have you outgrown the strategy that once served you so well?

And what might become possible if you trusted yourself enough to step into a new season?

So pour yourself a cuppa, settle into your favourite chair, and join me for this final reading of June.

Let’s honour everything this month has gifted us.

Let’s listen to what the Full Moon wants us to release.

And together, let’s stand on the threshold of July with open hearts, curious souls and the quiet excitement that perhaps the best chapters are still waiting to be written.

After all, Gorgeous Soul…

Sometimes the final whistle isn’t the end of the story. It’s simply the beginning of the next match.

Enough chuntering, let’s crack on with the reading.

Take a moment and pause, ask your wise inner self what is it you need to hear as we close out June. Take a breath and then when you are ready pick the card or cards that resonate.

Did you remember to pick?

Let’s go have a look, shall we?

HEALING

Healing can take many forms, even just through listening – when we feel we’re being heard it can make us feel better, so people who have the ability to listen with love and without judgement are already healers.

Sometimes just being in the presence of someone who is receptive to our thoughts and feelings can help us to feel uplifted and healed.

Do you feel you are able and willing to give this healing?

Hands-on healing is a technique many feel drawn to, and perhaps this is something you, too, wish to explore.  Are you in need of healing yourself?  Is there something that you are pushing through “because it’s expected?”

It’s important to listen to your body, mind and soul and take time out so it can heal naturally.  Make sure you’re getting all of the correct vitamins and nutrients.  And remember sleep can also be an amazing healer.

Explore healing therapies that may be new to you, such as aromatherapy, flower essences, hands on healing, art therapy, colour therapy – whatever piques your interest.

Believe and trust that you have the capacity to heal yourself and others.  Explore and embrace that piece of yourself and allow it to flow.

HOPE

Hope is the key to the door that can lead you away from any predicament you are in.

No matter how hopeless things may seem, if you look deep inside your heart your spiritual heart wisdom will reveal a glimmer of hope, and this can lead you to a brighter future.

This gorgeous faery reminds us to always tap into hope, because looking for hope and joy and changing your beliefs can literally change your future.

As you can see on the card a rainbow and a dove of peace are shown and they often come together reminding us that anything is possible.  Sometimes we just need an extra boost, so the faeries fly in on the wings of a dove to let us know that they’re with you with any difficulties you are experiencing.

Remaining hopeful while those around you are full of doubt and negativity can be extra challenging, but remember that hope comes from deep within our hearts and is an excellent habit to cultivate.

Heart wisdom and hope will see you through whatever is going on for you and those around you right now, so have courage and trust as the Faery of Hope walks hand in hand with peace and miracles.

NATURE’S SIGNS

The faeries love to leave hints and clues for us in nature. It’s one of the many creative ways in which they initiate communication with us.

For example, faeries often leave feathers or release floating dandelion seeds to let us know they’re nearby.  The appearance of a friendly bird, such as a robin, is another message that they are close by.

Faeries and other creatures often work together as they’re all in harmony with the Earth, whose wisdom can come in many forms.  Just allow yourself to be receptive and use your intuition to decipher any signs that you see.

If possible, sit next to a flowing stream and visualise your cares being resolved and any concerns flowing away.  Alternatively, imagine your hopes and wishes flowing towards you, looking out for any significant signs from nature as you do so.

You could also leave your own sign for the faeries next time you’re out in nature, letting them know  you wish to connect with them.  Leaving a tiny wooden fairy door next to a tree is a sure sign to the fey that you’re a faery friend.

The faeries will pick up on your intentions and help to manifest them.  If you don’t have access to a stream, it can be just as effective to visualise the process.

Those are some gorgeous, delicious messages! I’d love to know which card chose you and how it landed in your heart. Did Spirit score the winning goal? Did the Full Moon shine a light on something you’d been quietly avoiding? Or perhaps it simply reminded you that it’s time to change your game plan.

As we blow the final whistle on June and step onto the field of a brand-new month, remember that every ending carries the seed of a new beginning. Celebrate how far you’ve come, be gentle with yourself where you’re still growing, and trust that Spirit is already cheering you on from the sidelines.

Have a stupendous week, delicious lovely. Breathe deeply, celebrate your glorious, gorgeous self, and above all… have fun! Life is infinitely sweeter when we remember to play.

Big hugs, squeezes, moonbeams and bubbles galore!

At the Heart of the Year: Summer Solstice, SASS & The Fire Within!

Jenny Heston · 4:44 pm ·

Dearest Gentle Reader,

Have you noticed how quickly we arrived here?

One moment we were setting intentions beneath January skies and now we find ourselves standing at the very heart of the year. Halfway through 2026. Halfway through the dreams, detours, surprises, lessons and unexpected adventures that have shaped your journey so far.

Before we rush headlong into the second half of the year, I want to invite you to pause for a moment. Take a breath. No, really. A proper deep breath.

Life isn’t happening next week. It isn’t waiting at the bottom of your to-do list, and it certainly isn’t hiding in some mythical future where everything is finally sorted out. Life is happening right here, in this moment, and this moment only.

Adding to the magic of the month, we had a New Moon in Gemini on June 14th. Gemini is curious, playful and always asking questions. It encourages us to explore possibilities, look at things from a different perspective and remain open to what wants to emerge next.

Then, on June 21st, Summer Solstice—also known as Litha—arrives.

The longest day of the year.

The season of illumination.

The moment when the Sun stands in the fullness of its power and the world is drenched in light.

And the fire in you wants to burn with the Sun. To light up and beam out as far as humanly possible.

And why not?

Now you may be thinking to yourself, “Jenny, I haven’t the foggiest idea what you’re talking about or how to work with all this energy.”

Not a problem, gorgeous one. I’ve got you covered.

In fact, there are two beautiful ways you can journey with the energy of Summer Solstice this year.

The first is the Stupendously Abundant Summer Solstice Guide, fondly referred to as SASS because honestly, who doesn’t need a little more SASS in their life? This beautifully crafted 40+ page guide is packed with rituals, spells, stories, crystal work, journal prompts, seasonal wisdom, a glorious guided visualisation and enough Summer Solstice magic to help you reconnect with your own inner fire.

And if you’d like something a little more personal, after a lovely natter with my guides we’ve opened two special Summer Solstice readings: Your Solstice Light and The Fire Within.

There will be just 21 spaces available between now and the end of June for these Solstice offerings.

And a little heads-up, gorgeous one.

These will be the last special readings I’ll be offering for a while.

As many of you know, these weekly readings have been a beloved part of our journey together for a very long time. At the end of June they’ll be taking a pause while I step into some deeper work that has been calling to me for quite some time.

I’m not disappearing, not by a long shot. In fact, quite the opposite.

The work is deepening, the conversations are deepening, and the magic is deepening too.

Just as the Wheel turns after Summer Solstice and gently invites us inward, I find myself being called into a season of creating, listening, learning and tending what wants to emerge next.

There are whispers of new offerings, deeper teachings and fresh ways of working that are beginning to take shape, although they are not quite ready to step into the light just yet.

Truthfully, I’m not entirely sure what the next chapter looks like, but Summer Solstice has always been about trusting the light enough to take the next step, even when you can’t yet see the entire path stretching out before you.

So if you’ve been feeling the nudge to book a reading, this Solstice portal may be the perfect opportunity.

Think of it as a beautiful pause between chapters as we discover what wants to be written next.

Now before I tell you more about those offerings, let’s talk about why Summer Solstice has been celebrated for thousands of years.

Thematically, this celebration is about power, strength, illumination, confidence, energy, joy, self-acknowledgement and, of course, glorious Faerie revels.

It is a time to celebrate how far you’ve come and to reflect upon the growth that has brought you here.

This is the moment in our year when the greatest amount of light is available to us. Spiritually speaking, it is often when we can see ourselves most clearly. The Sun represents consciousness, awareness and the life force that animates all things.

At Summer Solstice, a doorway in time opens.

Our ancestors knew this.

For thousands of years they gathered around sacred fires, honoured the land, offered gratitude and marked this powerful turning of the Wheel. They understood that this was a sacred threshold, a moment suspended between what has been and what is yet to come.

Litha is a grand portal of energy, possibility and opportunity. A chance to release fears, doubts and insecurities. A chance to remember who you are and step forward in faith.

Yet there is another piece to this story.

After the Sun reaches its greatest power, it begins its slow descent. Little by little the nights begin to lengthen and the Wheel starts turning toward autumn’s harvest and winter’s rest.

Which makes this moment especially precious.

Summer Solstice is one of the last great energetic doorways of the year to activate sacred intentions before we begin moving inward once more. It is an opportunity to dream expansively and ask yourself what wants to grow, what is calling for your attention and what vision will sustain you as the darkness slowly returns.

And this is precisely why I created SASS and why my guides were so insistent about opening these readings.

Because just like the Sun, you have your own Inner Fire.

Your Inner Fire is the fierce, powerful, badass part of you. The part that keeps showing up. The part that dares to dream. The part that believes there might be something more. The part that is willing to do the sacred work of bringing those dreams into reality.

In the same way that crops cannot flourish without the Sun, your life cannot flourish without tending the flame within.

So let’s honour it. Let’s feed it.

Let’s ignite it so you can beam like the glorious beastie you are.

Okay, enough chuntering from me. Let’s crack on with the reading, shall we?

These beautiful Faeries have stepped forward to share their wisdom as we move toward Summer Solstice. So place your hand upon your heart, take a glorious deep breath and when you’re ready choose the card—or cards—that call to you.

Did you remember to pick? Excellent!

Let’s go take a little look-see, shall we?

HUMMINGBIRD DREAMS

The Smallest

Even those who seem the least to us have their dreams.  The tiniest and the weakest have their place in the Universe just as we do.  They have a special job that only they can do, a place that only they can fill.  There is no one being that is more important or more worthy than another, regardless of the form in which they choose to express themselves in life.

We marvel at the tiniest hummingbird.  How can it move its wings so rapidly that it can hover in one spot and then fly off in a split second?  What strength and agility it has.  What diving form!  It’s hard to believe that something so tiny can bring so much beauty and wonder.

If you are feeling small and insignificant, remember your uniqueness. The only shoes you have to fill are your own and they fit you just fine!

There are no insignificant people, none who are less whole than another.  Eliminate prejudices and judgements whether cast upon yourself or another.  If you feel that someone is not up to your standards, then realise that is what you are projecting upon them.

Change your perception and see them truly as they are…a reflection of the Divine, just as you are.

Spirit expresses through us all in its own way.  It’s not for us to second-guess.

If you are feeling less than whole, remember your divine birth and take comfort in knowing that you are divinely perfect.  Pursue your dreams and know that you are divinely guided.  Have faith in your dreams and your abilities.

I am a unique being.

There is no other like me.

My purpose is my own to fulfil.

No one else can do this.

Spirit expresses through me,

In a way that only I can give expression.

My gifts to the world are mine alone to give.

I am in divine harmony with all life.

So be it!

Take time to notice the smallest things today.

ALWAYS

Infinity

Let’s speak of Infinity.  To truly understand life, you must understand that you have always been…and always will be.  You are part of the Divine Source that rules the Universe.  Your spirit and your soul are immortal.

As the physical body passes from existence your energy body survives, eventually to move back to join with the Spirit.  You are always connected to the Source.

You are the vehicle through which the Divine Spirit manifests on Earth.

Understand your divinity and your importance on Earth.

You may have a wish for a special person in your life who will promise to always be there for you.

First, you must always be there for yourself!

Perhaps in the past those who should have stuck by you did not.  Those you thought were true were not.  Release old pain and habit patterns and allow your highest good to manifest in your life.

Express your gratitude!

This primes the pump for a real lasting relationship and do please remember the elementals that are helping you along the way.

Their devotion to you is infinite and unwavering.

I ever was,

I always will be.

I am Infinity.

My soul reaches out far beyond this shell,

Within me Spirit has a place to dwell.

I am.

So be it!

Play a song that lights you up over and over again.

LIGHTING THE WAY

Illumination

We all wish for guidance and help along the way, yet sometimes guidance comes from within.  When we connect to the energy of Spirit that resides within each of us, we see clearly what we are to do.  Reach for the stars!

Allow that communication with Spirit to connect you to your highest good.

Connecting to Spirit is as easy as recognising that you are already one with the Universal Power.  Strengthen your trust in your Divinity.

Ultimately, you are to be the one who shows others the way.  You hold the light for them as they climb the path of illumination.

In order to do so you must continue your own journey in learning and refining your own truth.  It is only through example that we can change our world, one person at a time.  But if enough people hold the light, in enough places, we can bring about change at a much more advanced rate.

This glorious faery holds the lantern for all to see, so that anyone who wishes to climb the path can better see the footholds and avoid the pitfalls.  She has reached the highest peak.  Her face shows that she takes her job seriously.

Guidance can come in many forms…the words of a friend or loved one, or of a professional counselor.  Guidance can come from a book or a stranger’s words.

Listen to what information comes your way, then sit with it and meditate on it.  You will get a sense as to whether it is valid for you or not, if you are open and willing to hear your truth.  You may be destined to teach or counsel others.

Each step of my journey is illuminated and sure.

I move with trust and confidence.

I welcome the chance to light the way for others.

I hold the light high.

So be it!

Light a candle for someone today!

Woosah! What glorious guides for this time – whoot, whoot! Remember to be present, remember to treasure yourself as the gorgeous gift you are and remember to ignite your Inner Fire at Solstice. And if it resonates for you to go deeper, pick up a copy of SASS, or take one of the 21 spots so we can get personal – or both!

Big love and squeezes.

As the Sun Rises, So Do You!

Jenny Heston · 2:22 pm ·

Gorgeous Soul,

Welcome to June. We have lots to discuss today as with the June energy there are some glorious changes happening over here.

However, can we just take a moment to acknowledge how quickly we arrived here?

One minute it felt like we were crawling our way through the mud and intensity of spring, blinking at the chaos of the world and trying to remember where we put our nervous systems… and now suddenly the roses are blooming, the bees are drunk with pollen, the evenings are stretching long and golden, and Summer Solstice is peeking around the corner.

And honestly? I can feel her already.

There is something about June that feels alive in a different way. The air itself feels fuller somehow. Richer. Like the earth has exhaled and said, “Right then sweetie, let’s begin.”

Because that’s the interesting thing about Summer Solstice. Even though it marks the height of the Sun’s power, the longest day of the year, it is also somehow just the beginning.

The beginning of summer.
The beginning of the true growing season.
The beginning of something new inside ourselves.

And that has always fascinated me.

Summer Solstice has been celebrated since Neolithic times. Humans have gathered around fires, honoured the Sun, danced, feasted, prayed and whispered wishes into the warm night air for thousands upon thousands of years. There is something deeply ancient about this moment on the Wheel of the Year. Something instinctive.

Something our bones remember.

And if you know me at all, you know I adore the old stories surrounding Solstice. The veil is thin at this time of year. The Fae are said to wander more freely. The world becomes a little more enchanted, a little more slippery, a little more alive with possibility and mischief.

I mean honestly, even Shakespeare was writing about midsummer magick in the 1500s, so clearly humans have been enchanted by this energy for a very long time. Muhahaha.

But beneath the whimsy and flower crowns and bonfires, there is something incredibly powerful happening energetically this month.

The Sun reaches its highest point in the sky here in the Northern Hemisphere, and with it comes this invitation for us to rise too.

Not in the hustle-until-you-collapse kind of way.

But in the authentic kind of way.

The kind where you stop apologising for who you are.

The kind where you stop dimming yourself to make others comfortable.

The kind where you finally allow yourself to say, “Actually… this is what I want. This is who I am becoming. This is the life I want to create.”

That is the energy I keep feeling over and over again for June.

Creative liberation.
Authentic expression.
The beginning of a new era.

There is this sense that many of us are standing at a threshold right now. Something has reached its pinnacle. Something has completed. Something is quietly asking to be released with love.

And at the exact same time, something new is stretching awake inside of us.

I keep hearing the words “right-sizing your life.”

Not making your life smaller.
Not making yourself smaller.

But creating a life that actually fits who you are now instead of who you used to be.

And if I’m being honest, this energy has been moving through my own life in a very big way these last few months.

I have been sitting quietly with a lot. Listening. Watching. Allowing things to unfold instead of forcing answers before they are ready.

And somewhere in all of that, I realised something that genuinely startled me.

I have been doing weekly readings for fourteen years.

Fourteen.

Years.

When that landed in my body, I just sat there blinking for a minute because it has been such a huge part of my life and my work and my connection with all of you. I have loved writing them. Loved tapping into the energy every week. Loved the rhythm and ritual of it.

But I have also changed. My work has changed.

The way I want to create has changed.

And June, with all this glorious Solstice energy of authenticity and creative liberation, feels like the right moment to lovingly loosen my grip on what has been and make space for what wants to arrive next.

So there will still be weekly readings through June, but during July and August we are going to slow things down and work more deeply with the monthly energies, the seasonal shifts and the other magickal bits and pieces that are asking to come through.

However prior to stepping into the monthly, as many of you have asked – yes there will be a Summer Solstice Reading Special (it will be the last one I will be doing). There will be 21 spots available and if you are part of our glorious email community – you will find out about it on Thursday!

And then in September… oh sweetie… September feels big.

Because I am being guided toward creating more spaces of community.

Not polished, curated, performative community.

Real community.

The kind where people can show up messy and grieving and hopeful and magical and exhausted and joyful all at once. The kind where we gather around metaphorical fires and remember we were never meant to do this human thing alone.

And honestly? I am pig wiggly excited about it.

At the same time, this season has also held deep grief for me.

It was recently the second anniversary of losing the Mothership, and grief is such a strange companion. It sneaks up in unexpected moments. A smell. A sentence. A memory. A flower blooming at the wrong time.

There is something profoundly disorienting about becoming an adult orphaned child. About realising there is no longer anyone alive who has known you from the very beginning.

And layered within that has been the grief of rupture. Of family. Of endings. Of becoming someone new while also carrying the ache of what has been lost.

Perhaps that is also part of Solstice wisdom.

The understanding that life is always asking us to hold both.

Joy and grief.
Endings and beginnings.
Fire and tenderness.
Release and becoming.

So if you have been feeling stretched between worlds lately, if you have been feeling the ache of change alongside the excitement of possibility, you are not alone.

The Sun is asking all of us to rise right now.

To tend our inner flame.
To stop abandoning ourselves.
To trust what is trying to bloom.

Because as the outer Sun reaches the height of its power this month, your own inner Sun has the potential to rise too.

Your fire. Your creativity. Your ability to create, act, love, express and become.

All of it is being touched by this energy. So breathe that in for a moment.

Let the warmth of it settle into your bones. Let it ignite the parts of you that are ready to come alive again.

And when you are ready, sweet soul, pick the card — or cards — that are calling to you.

Did you remember to pick?

Let’s go see shall we?

GO DARK

Your darkness is not your enemy.

It can seem scary, but it’s where new life grows and develops.  You do too.

This moment calls you to be willing to be with your own darkness.  It asks you to embrace your dark as your beloved ally.  To cradle your uncertainty.

The dark night of the soul holds secrets for you that you wouldn’t be able to see in the brightness of glaring certainty.

Poet Mary Oliver spoke about a box of darkness as a priceless gift in her life.

Chaos, crisis and suffering want to gift you a new understanding of who you really are beyond who you always thought yourself to be.

COURT THE FEMININE

The word cunning is closely associated with the fox.

Cunning, like foxes and women, has been given a bad rap.

Many have twisted the word’s sacred origins into something manipulative and conniving.

But the word cunning comes from an older Middle English word “ken”, a range of knowledge or sight.

A cunning person understands that deep internal sight and wide-range vision lead to building an authentic life.  Excavate your deep knowing and trust its messages.

This is the way your soul-sight grows sharp, and your instincts return to the untamed power you were born with.

Sharpen your cunning to cut away what no longer serves.

No matter your gender, your life deserves the fierce protection that feminine discernment can bring.

CRAFT YOUR FOCUS

Your vision is a magnifying energy source, amplifying and expanding what it perceives.

In any single moment you have one choice.  You can turn your gaze toward what you don’t want, what isn’t working, what you are fearful of, what you worry about.

Or, you can look at what you treasure, what you love, and what you hope for, despite what reality tells you is possible.

Either way, what you focus on grows, right?

Now is the time to use this very simple power to direct the energy and flow of your experience.

When you focus on what you already have with gratitude, and what you want with love and appreciation, you create the energy version of your vision before there is any proof in the material world.

This moment invites you to consciously choose your focus.

Okay, have to say – love these cards!  All deep, rich and meaningful! Wishing you a glorious beginning of June, may you step into your authenticity and make sure you are part of our glorious email community so you can take one of the 21 spots.

Massive hugs and rose petals.

Apparently, I’ve harvested a whole bushel of laven Apparently, I’ve harvested a whole bushel of lavender—and the bees would like to speak to management. 🐝😤

After some tense garden negotiations, I assured them I wasn’t taking it all. Now let the lavender-induced faery shenanigans begin: wands, baskets, bath bags, sachets, oils, salts, sugars, jelly and all manner of fragrant magick! 💜🌿

The bees still have plenty.

They also appear to have unionized.

🌙✨ Plot twist... The Cancer New Moon isn’t asking 🌙✨ Plot twist...

The Cancer New Moon isn’t asking you to become a shinier, better, more productive version of yourself.

She’s asking you to remember who you were before you became so ridiculously good at accommodating everyone else.

This week, the lesson found me in the glitter and glorious heart of Kinky Boots, in the rainbow magic of Pride, on a football pitch where fierce competition and deep compassion stood side by side... and finally beneath a moon that quietly whispered,

“Come home.”

Home to your heart.

Home to your intuition.

Home to the wildly beautiful, slightly witchy, gloriously imperfect soul you’ve been all along.

I’ve woven it all together in this week’s New Moon post, along with a deliciously simple ritual to help you release what no longer fits and remember the shape of your truest self.

🌿 Grab a cuppa.
🕯️ Light a candle.
🌙 Then click the link in my bio and come home.

Because, delicious lovely... the world doesn’t need another watered-down version of you.

It needs YOU. 💙

They burned herbalists as witches for three centur They burned herbalists as witches for three centuries and called it heresy. They called it medicine without a license before licenses existed, devil worship. The Malleus Maleficarum specifically targeted women who healed because it worked without the church.

The institutions that lit the pyres built pharmaceutical companies. Aspirin is willow bark, morphine is poppy, digoxin is foxglove, Taxol is Pacific yew, and Metformin is French lilac.

She was killed for giving it to you for free while he was awarded a patent for putting it in a capsule.

The word “pharmacy” comes from the Greek pharmakeia and it means sorcery.

Receipts: Malleus Maleficarum (1487). Aspirin derived from Salix alba (willow bark), Bayer 1899. Digoxin from Digitalis purpurea, first described by William Withering 1785. Taxol from Taxus brevifolia, NCI 1967. Metformin from Galega officinalis. Pharmakeia: Strong’s Greek 5331.

Because at some point in midlife something shifts. Because at some point in midlife something shifts. And it’s not that we become mean or difficult or hard to be around.

It’s that we spent decades shrinking ourselves to fit into spaces that were never designed for us.
Softening our words so nobody felt uncomfortable. Swallowing our opinions to keep the peace. Apologizing for taking up space. Managing everyone else’s feelings while completely abandoning our own.

And then perimenopause shows up and strips away every single fuck we had left to give. 😤

And suddenly we can see it so clearly.
How much energy we wasted.
How much of ourselves we gave away.
How long we managed everyone else’s comfort at the expense of our own sanity.
That’s not meanness babe. That’s awakening.

Midlife isn’t turning us into difficult women.
It’s turning us into honest ones.
Women who finally value their own peace enough to stop performing comfort for people who never once worried about ours.

And I will never apologize for that.
Not even a little bit. 😇

If you have officially entered your “not my problem anymore” era drop a 🙋‍♀️ below because we are exactly where we are supposed to be. 💛
⚽🌕 Plot twist... Football and the Full Moon have m ⚽🌕 Plot twist... Football and the Full Moon have more in common than you think.

They’re both about momentum.

They’re both about passion.

And sometimes... they’re both about that one magical moment that changes everything.

As June blows the final whistle, the Full Moon is asking a simple question...

What are you ready to change?

Not because you’re broken.

Not because you’ve failed.

But because you’ve grown.

I’ve pulled three cards for this final reading of June, and one of them is quietly calling your name. 👀✨

Will it be the message you need to hear before stepping into July?

There’s only one way to find out...

🌕 Pick your card.
⚽ Trust your intuition.
✨ Let Spirit surprise you.

And when you’ve watched... come back and tell me which card chose you. I absolutely love hearing your stories.

Every culture that ever looked at the sky knew thi Every culture that ever looked at the sky knew this day mattered.

The Norse lit bonfires so large they could be seen from the next village. The Celts called it the Light of the Shore and believed the veil thinned in blazing light instead of darkness. The Slavs jumped over fires to seal their bonds. The Romans made June sacred for weddings.

🌞Litha is an old English word meaning gentle, navigable. The time when the sea was calm enough to sail.

Beneath all the names, all the traditions, all the fires one truth:

The sun is at its peak. Everything is fully illuminated.

Even the parts of yourself you usually keep in shadow.

🔥🌞 Oi, gorgeous soul... your Inner Fire called. I 🔥🌞 Oi, gorgeous soul... your Inner Fire called.

It would like a word.

Summer Solstice is almost here and the Sun is strutting around at full power, reminding you that you weren’t born to play small, dim your light or tuck your dreams away in a dusty cupboard marked “maybe one day.”

This is your invitation to celebrate how far you’ve come, reconnect with what truly matters and ask yourself:

✨ What wants to grow?
✨ What wants to be illuminated?
✨ What am I ready to say YES to?

To help you work with this powerful Solstice energy, I’ve released my gloriously magical 40+ page Summer Solstice Guide (affectionately known as SASS because every witchy soul needs a little more SASS).

And after a lovely natter with my guides, I’ve also opened two special readings:

🔥 Your Solstice Light
🔥 The Fire Within

Just 21 reading spaces are available and, lovely one, these will be the last special readings I’ll be offering for a while as the weekly readings take a pause and I step into some deeper magic behind the scenes.

The portal is open.

The Sun is blazing.

The Faeries are probably causing trouble.

All that’s missing is you.
