Weekly Reading June 13th

Happy wonderful Monday, delicious lovelies! Are you ready to start a new week all full of vim, vigour and anticipation?

This last weekend was Grad for the high school here, so lots of wonderful young people got dressed up and were fully celebrated by their community. I love watching the ceremonies and seeing these wonderful teens in their suits and dresses as they tentatively step out and forward. However, I do have mixed emotions around this ceremony, a sadness that they are leaving their youth and entering out into the world and a joy that they are filled to the brim with ideas, anticipation, and a restless energy to go make their mark on the world.

So how are you going to make your mark on the world this week? What guidance do you need?

I invite you to pause for a moment and close your eyes and see, sense or feel that you are within your heart space. Imagine this as a beautiful space with a body of quiet reflective water and masses of sweeping willow trees dipping over the water’s edges. In this sacred space within your heart, you become aware of a Nyad sitting near the largest willow tree, her hair and robes gently moving in a light breeze. As she smiles at you and raises her hands in a healing mudra, a soft breeze of healing energy flows into your heart, helping you open and release. Allow her energy to flow through your heart gently dissolving any cord or attachment that is draining you. Intend that this light in your heart becomes like a white fire of energy, that flows down to your navel and infuses it with power, energy and vitality. Imagine cords snapping back into your energy field, no longer leaking your power out of your aura. Take another deep breath and gently close your hands together in prayer mudra at your heart centre and when you are ready slowly open your eyes.

So are you ready? Really?

GATES OF HEAVEN

All beings have an ultimate spiritual destiny of happiness and freedom. Beloved Kuan Yin shines tireless compassion upon all Life to this end. Yet sometimes attachments, lower vibrational beings, entities and elementals become frightened of divine love and believe they will do better to hid in human energy fields instead. This blocks progress towards liberation where human beings and lower vibrational beings can pass through the Gates of Heaven, into peace, bliss and homecoming to the spiritual Source of all Life. You may consciously sense attachments or spiritual presence that is not of highest vibration and needs to be released from your energy field or you may just feel angry, tired, depleted or “not yourself” sometimes. You may be holding onto some old energies that you need to release that do not belong to you, It is important that you keep your energy clean and clear and call back to yourself all parts of you, as leaving any part of you attached to another’s energy field out of fear is not going to help you grow anymore. The time has come to own your power.

THE LOTUS THRONE

The same Lotus wisdom that enlightens beloved Kuan Yin and all spiritual masters is the very same Lotus Light within your own heart. It can take great courage to trust your own inner light to ascend the throne of your own inner spiritual authority, especially if the light of others around you seems more powerful than your own. Trust your inner guidance above all others now. Have faith in your own heart. Know that you are divine. Trust that your own inner teacher is growing stronger, that you have more spiritual wisdom than you may have previously acknowledged and that you will benefit greatly from heeding your own heart’s guidance at this time. In your admirable willingness to be open, to learn and to grow, you are wise not to surrender your discernment. Does all guidance you have been following feel true in your heart? You are being asked to ascend to the Lotus Throne of your own divine Soul. Trust your courage. Your journey is taking you into spiritual maturity and you will need to acknowledge that you have spiritual authority within your own heart. Yes, you can learn from others, but always honour your inner teacher.

SOUND THE FIERCE FLUTE

Discernment empowers you to make choices that are aligned with your spiritual intentions. Like a fierce sounding flute cutting through all vibrations with purity and intent, your discernment allows you to stay true to your values and spiritual destiny, without getting caught up in distraction. If you wish to grow spiritually through love, joy, peace and abundance, then discerning between higher and lower vibrational choices is helpful. Discernment is not judgement. It does not render some things better or worse than others. It is the power of selection based on desire or intention. If we intend to grow through joy and adventure, rather than fear or suffering, then we can use our discernment to make choices that feel expansive and uplifting, rather than constrictive or draining.

Discernment is necessary in all realms of life from the physical to the spiritual. From the sort of lifestyle we choose to led, to the people we choose to spend time with or the ways that we spend most of our time, even the kinds of spiritual energies that we invoke, discerning choices help us craft our reality. A wise use of discernment helps us to be truthful, clear and accurate in our perception. With truth there are no “nasty surprises” later on,. We can ascertain what is real and what is false. Your discerning powers are growing and you are capable of greatest discernment when you listen to your heart and are able to let go of fear and shame which can cloud our perception. There is a situation in your life that you need to see from your heart rather than from appearances. Don’t be afraid to trust your own vision.

Happy glorious Monday delicious lovely, how are you?

After a couple of weeks of rain here summer hit like a 10 tonne truck on Friday with temperatures that are in the high 30’s and today I believe is about 40C! So personally there is a desire to find somewhere shady, darker and cooler to hang out in, as much as I enjoy the sun and the warmth, there are moments that it is too hot and I just puddlefy! Even the dogs wander out, lie on the grass for a bit and then go find a cool piece of tile or a cool corner under a deck to hide in.

So for fun, let’s explore our feelings pertaining to temperature.

I invite you to slowly drop into your breathe, watch how it flows in and out, can you deepen it a little bit? Take a slow delicious breath in and sigh as you exhale. Keep breathing and as you do imagine you are in a wild, desert in the middle of summer. The sun is hot overhead and you can sense the aridity of the land, the green cacti are sprouting with spikes and the strong heat rising from the earth in shimmering waves. How does this feel?

Now you are in a lush, green landscape sprouting with new shoots and a warm sun caressing the earth. The sunlight falls through the canopy of the trees in a dappled way and a creek is undulating through mossy banks down the mountain. Everything is moist, lush and vibrant and the buttercups are in full bloom, creating a yellow blanket over the green grasses and there is a sweet scent in the mild, warm air. How does this feel?

Gently open your eyes and with the energy of the place that you enjoyed the most, I invite you to pick a card. The crystals that chose to come work with us this week are Amethyst, Ametrine and Citrine.

GATES OF HEAVEN

PRINCESS OF THE AUTUMN HARVEST

The Princess of the Autumn Harvest brings gifts of bounty and blessing for efforts and actions of the past. It is a time when fruit of labours is ripe for the picking. A beautiful blessing is on its way to your now. This may come in the form of a spiritual gift, an opportunity, a windfall of abundance, a significant relationship or an important friendship and more. With gratitude in your heart, you will recognise the blessing when it comes to you and it will serve you perfectly. Be open to receive it, knowing it is just deserved. This blessing coming to you is a specific reward for endeavour, effort and inner work over some time. It will look and feel like something precious that has been gifted to you from a benevolent universe, and it is. Have faith, be open and receive, beloved. Your time has come.

DANCE OF THE BUTTERFLY QUEEN

A pure heart and sincere love attracts Divine Grace. With the Grace of Kuan Yin, Butterfly Queen, that which was impossible, becomes possible. From caterpillar to winged creature of delight, you cannot restrain what Divine Grace ordains no matter how incredible it may seem to be. Whatever has been troubling you, or whatever has been inspiring you, allow Grace to infuse the situation or dream, so that it may unfold with divine perfection. Allow the Butterfly Queen to dance, she will bring healing and grace to your life situation now, beloved one, with lightness of step and grace in her heart. Let go of striving and instead turn to your heart and ask for help from the unconditional love that surrounds you. Let the heaviness of the situation go, allow your heart to become light as air, as though the butterfly dance was tickling your heart so lightly now. The Butterfly Queen’s grace is reaching to you now, beloved. Trust.

Happy wonderful Monday, Memorial Day and Spring Bank holiday!

Wow, May seems to have just flown by and it has been so lovely to see multiple graduation and celebration pictures of wonderful youth transitioning into another stage of life. As human beings we can be so resistant to change, yet change is inevitable, stimulating and promotes growth as long as we can surrender to the process, which is often the tricky part.

For the next little bit as we approach the Summer Solstice we are going to work with this gorgeous deck – Kuan Yin Oracle. “Kuan Yin is the Mother of Compassion. She guides us into our enlightenment, which is being able to live in harmony and unity with the Love that is, surrendering into the Love. Enlightenment is not meant to be a distant spiritual goal, but something that we can choose to live at any time, by choosing love, kindness, compassion and wisdom over fear, judgement, anger or separation from the Source, the Divine Feminine, that seeks to nourish us so that we blossom into the fullest of our being.”

So I invite you to take a moment and to breath into your heart. If you are able, place your hands over your heart centre and start breathing long, slow and deep into this gorgeous well of wisdom, love and certainty. As you take a breath in see a continual stream of gorgeous golden light pouring in through the top of your head and gently undulating through you reaching every cell within your physical body. This golden light caresses each cell with love, blessing them, loving them and healing them, one by one as it makes its way to your heart center where it beams out like a massive spotlight through the fog of any despair, confusion, illusion or fear. Keep breathing and keep working with this delicious golden stream, and when you feel ready, gently open your eyes knowing you can trust yourself and pick the card that calls to you this week.

So with your heart filled with golden light let’s go see what resonated for you this week.

TAI CHI RISING

Your energy field is growing stronger, with more spiritual electricity pulsing through your being. Take time to nourish your nervous system as it adjusts and be gentle with yourself as you adjust to increasing levels of spiritual potency, which gives more impact to your words, actions and thoughts. You have special light within you and the elegance, beauty and refinement of that light wishes to express itself more potently in the world of forms so that others may receive healing and refine their light too. As your energy field grows, your words and thoughts have more potency. Take your time and be careful as you realise the impact that your actions and thoughts will have in the world of forms now. You don’t need to worry about this, you can go into your heart and trust that you will exercise your will and potency in the world through surrendering into your heart, where your own Kuan Yin nature will guide you into compassion and right action.

THE THRESHOLD

At the Threshold you stand. Before you lies a way of being that is beyond fear. It is a sacred passing through a karmic veil into a new life of empowerment, peace, spiritual service to humanity and joy in your own Soul. Congratulations! You are embarking on a phase of deepest soul liberation, into freedom of love that triumphs over fear. This is a sacred and important time where it is wise to surround yourself with those that are able to support you in this love-based reality. For now, allow beloved Kuan Yin to help you connect to the beauty and potency, the love and fearless, endless joy of your own Higher Self. Do not be disheartened by any old fears that are surfacing. You do not need to create a story out of them, you can just observe them with love and allow them to pass. You are safe and you are quickening in your readiness to pass the threshold. Your journey is truly blessed.

MOTHER FIERCE

Mother Fierce is your Guardian. Nothing can penetrate the passionate fire of her fearless love. Your safety is assured. In the midst of any apparent challenge or threat, no matter how frightening it may seem, and not matter how insecure you might feel about taking a step on your spiritual path into more power, know that you are safe, you are protected, you are loved. You have been growing and sometimes this evokes responses from others. The healing for you is in how you choose to allow yourself to shine and not be diminished by the healing process of another. Know that you do not need to be afraid, nor do you need to hold yourself back out of fear. Trust in Kuan Yin as a Divine Mother of fierce compassion and protection. Trust in her Light and realise that she is shining through your own inner light, that She and You are on in truth. From this perspective, you can realise that you always have the right to say “no” to any energy of fear or doubt that seeks to cause you harm. You are being supported in retaining your inner peace in the face of any lower vibrational energy, so that you can be kind and accepting of the divine essence in all of existence, no matter how heavily veiled the divinity appears to be, and yet also remain assertive that only unconditionally loving vibrations are welcome in your energy field.

Weekly Reading May 23rd

Happy Glorious Monday and here in Canada it is a holiday, Victoria Day in fact. So to celebrate a lovely long weekend it was filled with yoga, family, friends, logger sports (yes I did say that outloud). There is something fascinating with watching a man run up an 80 foot pole with a rope around his waist, ring a bell and then dash back down. Today was a glorious hike and explore through an old cemetery and along the side of the mountain.

There is something so enervating and healing about being in the woods, totally surrounded by moss, trees, shrubs – a pure bubble of green and wayyyy down below you can hear the creek roaring, as it is so swollen with the spring runoff, over the rocks and fallen down trees. There was a moment where I just had to stop moving as the Joy and the connection to Pachamama and the Divine was just coursing through me and all I could do was smile and breathe it all in.

So I invite you to do the same. Stop moving, stop “thinking” and start breathing and feeling.

Imagine you are in a rich, deep woods and you are walking along a thin trail. Down to one side the mountain falls away and over the moss covered rocks and fallen trees you can hear and smell the water rushing below. Up on the other side the mountain reaches for the skies and everywhere you look there is a different shade of green. It would take you most of your day to count all the variations and shades of green that pour into your mind’s eye and surge through your body, so instead just breathe it in.

You make your way along the path and after a while you realise it is leading you down to the rushing water and you can feel the air get more moist with the spray that is floating up between the trees. You come around a corner and there in front of you is a gorgeous grotto of large rocks all covered with moss from years upon years of growth, like a gorgeous thick living carpet. You clamber over a fallen tree and sit amidst the rocks, leaning your back against the soft moss and looking at the water rushing by. As you come to a place of stillness and quiet you can hear the song of the water as it goes by on its merry way and it sings to you of release, cleansing and healing. Can you hear the song? This song is just for you, every cell in your body is responding to the healing green and the song is guiding you forward and holding you oh so tenderly. Reminding you how much you are loved and how treasured you are.

So with that in your heart, trust yourself.

With that trust still present and your heart open, let’s go see…..

TRUST YOURSELF

You are wise. You know how to grow, even without knowing how you know.

Like the ancient forests, spectacular galaxies and the acorn that becomes the oak, there is natural intelligence for growth that is beyond logic and reason. It just happens. You are growing. You really are. Don’t doubt it.

Even if you don’t see it yet, remember that so much is happening when the seed is still unbroken in the ground. It’s gathering up all its’ might, power and force that it will need to push above the soil and burst up into the light. Trust yourself. You know how to grow. Don’t over think things, it won’t help you. Don’t worry so much you are doing a great job in this game of life. When you trust yourself, you relax and you can heed your own wisdom.

You have a big destiny this lifetime and much to experience. Don’t resist any points of instability in your life. This even applies to your most treasured relationships or creative projects. That instability is just a growing pain because more consciousness, more love and more light wants to infiltrate and pervade all parts of your life. Choose to flow and grow.

SACRED FOOL

The fool is a great rebel, able to thwart convention and tell the truth without restraint. Your heart is a wonderful, powerful, sacred fool! It cares not for the right way to do things. It cares not for what the mind says is real and not real. It lives according to an inner wisdom that cannot be dictated to or controlled by anything. It loves, it lives and it is what is!

It’s time to take your offer to the world. Don’t try to be appropriate, don’t try to be socially acceptable and worry about what others may think – just be. If you want to wear a mad hat whilst doing so, fine.

It’s time to leave behind what has been because it no longer feels right to stay attached to it. Your mind is a monkey puppet on strings. More often than not, it is cajoled into fear when it could be playfully dwelling in the radical spontaneity of life. So, the sacred fool in you urges your mind to let itself be pulled into joy by your heart strings not into fear and doubt by media or anything else. It’s time for you to play.

It’s time for you to let life happen in a completely unreserved, unscripted way. Life wants to operate more radically through you so that you become the conduit through which miracles and crazy wild synchronicity can occur. If you find yourself making choices that have others questioning your sanity, then you are right on course. You are just approaching enlightened awareness. There is a moment – sometimes a rather long one – when we wake up to life, shed our attachment to mass opinion and float in a completely different state of being. Stay on your path, stay on the journey, remember to take nothing too seriously and it will all work out perfectly.

DEFEND TO THE END THE WORTHWHILE

Beneath the lies and illusions, pretty as they seem, you know what is worthwhile. All that is genuinely and truly essential for the heart to throb with life is worthwhile. Anything that dulls it or suffocates its vibrant aliveness, must be questioned, challenged, and more than likely cast aside, for the heart is our key to living an authentic life.

You are a sacred warrior – a defender of the heart. You have cried genuine tears of your own grief and also the grief of the world. You have felt the need to protect the presence of love, for whilst it is exceptionally powerful, it can too easily be smothered under lies and fear.

The sacred warrior is vigilant that the presence of love is not chipped away by fear, criticism, doubt or untruths. The darkness will be intelligent and sneaky. It will tell you that it doesn’t matter, that this one time you can forget what you promised, that you are just one person and that you can’t make difference. The sacred warrior within will fight with love and honour to be true to what has meaning, and never, ever allow it to be cast aside – even if it seems easier in the moment. You’re being asked to stay strong and stand your ground. What is happening, or soon will be happening is worthwhile. So hold tight. Ask for help to heal.

Weekly Reading May 16th

Hello delicious lovelies. Happy Monday and gosh, we are half the way through May already! The month just seems to be flying by and it’s as if every other day there is a new flower blossoming into its full glory – I love Spring for the colours, smells and the sense of rejuvenation and flourishing. Currently in the garden the purple alium are up and they make me laugh as they are these huge spiky purple bobble head balls – very Dr. Seuss like.

On the weekend I spent some meditative and spiritually filled time harvesting wild roses; and let me tell you that if there is a heaven on earth it is standing in the midst of a huge patch of wild roses and drinking in the scent whilst the sun warms your back and flutterbys undulate around you. So now, brewing away I have a rose tincture, a rose oil and a rose quartz elixir. Can you say – let’s open up that heart chakra?

Okay let’s move onto this week’s reading. So on this day let’s set the intention, the intention of receptivity and openness. I invite you to take a lovely deep breath in through your nose, hold for 3 and then sigh it out through an open mouth. As you take another deep breath imagine you are in the most gorgeous garden, it could be wild and rampaging, or neat and manicured – your choice. Look around and see how all the plants are working together and how they are all supported by nature and the seasons. The colours, the scents, the foliage – all different, but all working together. Some things will thrive, others fall away, only to shift again as the seasons change. This is amazing organisational genius at work. Now see your soul like this garden, gorgeous and magnificent, loved and nurtured by your own spiritual gardener and from this place you dare to live creatively from you heart and to thrive, like a gorgeous flower. Take another deep breath and trust your inner knowing as you pick a card.

HEAVEN SENT

Just as we receive gifts in the physical world, through the thoughtfulness of others, to acknowledge how much we mean to them, so too we receive gifts on other levels – including the spiritual level. A spiritual gift is something that happens through grace. We can ask for help and it may be given in response to that request. All requests for help are answered. There is a loving benevolence in life that knows exactly what we need and how it can best come to us, even when we are not quite so clear. This force actively seeks to assist us in walking our life path. That loving sweetness is being offered to you now, or soon will be, in the form of a spiritual gift. The spiritual gift may or may not be recognisable to you, but it is like a spiritual booster shot that helps you move forward in life with additional zing, extra strength and greater peace. Let yourself be helped. Assistance is coming your way so act on it and say yes. Trust in the things that you feel and say to others without knowing why. It moves them. You might not understand, but through trust you are allowing yourself not to overthink and censor yourself. As such you are able to become a vessel through which the spiritual gift can be passed on to others. Don’t block yourself. Let life happen through you. Only benefit can come from this!

LEGACY OF LIGHT

You are being asked to honour the legacy of light that is your sacred birthright. The legacy of light is your spiritual birthright to refine and shine your essence into the world….to be like a sun, radiant and unapologetic of your nature. The more you are nourished by this legacy of light from your past, the more you become a bearer of the legacy for those that will be supported by your light in the future. A creative choice you are making, or have made, or soon will make, is one that is in alignment with your sacred purpose and spiritual path of healing and growth. The legacy of light cannot be ignored without some detriment to your sense of well being. The issue at hand is one of utmost importance to your spiritual growth. The legacy of light also ask you to call on the unconditionally loving support that exists for you, every day. This light will offer you all manner of assistance. To not call upon it is like starving because you have no means to acquire food, whilst a feast lays before your eyes – if only you would partake of it! You have some special creative and healing offering to make to the world in this lifetime. You will leave a legacy of light for the greater good upon this planet and you will be lovingly supported in many ways by the great creative universal intelligence when you ask for help.

BE THE HUNTER, NOT THE HUNTED

Do you feel you are at the beck and call of circumstances, situations and relationships that are outside of your control? Is your attention being called away from what you love – from your passionate focus upon your own journey and creative self-expression? Are you feeling roped into becoming a support, tonic, saviour and heal-all for others? There is a big difference between healthy supportiveness in a relationship – which includes healthy self-support – and ignoring your own journey out of misplaced guilt, shame, unworthiness or the belief that the needs of others are more important than your own. That is not compromise. That is unhealthy and neglectful of yourself. You are being asked to see through the assumptions, expectations, tantrums etc that may be put upon you by yourself or others. See through them to the truth! You are capable of seeing the truth, out-smarting old patterns and responding more creatively to craft new and improved relationships. There is a message coming your way and it will be important to you and you are not to paint it as anything more or less than what it is. Sit with you heart. Take your time. Even if there is a deadline for your answer. You will be able to bend and stretch time so that in your relaxation, you can feel for what your truth is, in the situation at hand and respond appropriately. Mother Nature offers you the wisdom medicine of the owl – the ability to hear what is not spoken and see what is hidden in darkness. Trust what you feel beyond appearances.
