Weekly Reading November 28th

Happy glorious Monday gorgeous one and upcoming New Moon! How has your week been? Here the snow line is very, very slowly coming down the mountainside and if one is not living on the peak, one is experiencing grey and rain (which I find rather depressing, but hey, I have no control over it).

This last week I have been paying attention to all the signs and messages that have been flooding in and if I were to sum them up in one word, the word is Love. Love for self, love for your body, love for others (even when they push your buttons), love for your community, love for this glorious earth and the water, love for your connection to something bigger than you – Love. So with Love being so prevalent the gorgeous Kuan Yin Oracle deck insisted that it be used this week. Also, the song that has been looping through my head is the Beatles song – All you need is love. I can’t even remember the last time I heard that song, so I went and explored the lyrics and they were very appropriate:-

There’s nothing you can do that can’t be done.

Nothing you can sing that can’t be sung.

Nothing you can say, but you can learn

How to play the game.

It’s easy.

Nothing you can make that can’t be made.

No one you can save that can’t be saved.

Nothing you can do, but you can learn

How to be you in time.

It’s easy.

All you need is love, all you need is love,

All you need is love, love. Love is all you need.

So I invite you to come for a little visualisation walk on the topic of Love.

Gently close your eyes down and breathe long and deep in through your nose and out through your mouth. Feel your face relax and your shoulders drop down, keep breathing in this way and see in your mind’s eye a glorious glade under a clear night sky that is filled with stars. Breathe in the cool, crisp, fresh air, feel it filling your lungs, cleansing and clearing. Across the glade there is a lovely waterfall that bounces over the rocks and lands with delight in a great big pool of water that is edged with a rock wall.

You make your way over to the waterfall and sit on the rock wall and listen as the water sings you it’s song as it burbles and dances down over the rocks. Feel the gentle mist dusting your face as the water splashes into the pond. Keep breathing. As you look around you see a golden ball in the soft lush moss at the base of the wall inviting you to play. When you pick it up you are surprised to feel that it is warm and it radiates out a gentle heat into your hands. You toss the ball back and forth between your hands and revel in its golden glow and how it reflects the light of the stars, when suddenly it slips and falls into the pond and vanishes from sight.

As you lean over the water to see if you can reach it the golden light that was the ball gets bigger and bigger until it is radiating up and out from the pond and moving all around you and you feel safely held as if you are in the arms of someone who loves you unconditionally, purely and completely. In that space you feel your heart opening and stretching reflecting the love that you are receiving and giving of your own love. You feel complete, safe, strong and that you are Love. Stay in that place, breathe it in, integrate it, feel deep into the core of your being how radiant, real and true this love that you are co-creating is. Be with this light. Be at peace and let the love flow around you, to you and from you. When you are ready, simply open your eyes and say I give love, I receive love, I am always becoming love. You have finished your healing process.

MAIDEN OF MA GU

You are asked to honour that light can come from even the darkest beginnings, beloved one. In fact, sometimes we need to enter into the unknown parts of ourselves to find exactly what we need to grow in peace, creative self-fulfilment and happiness. The challenge can be to trust that we will arise from this darker place again. Just as the Spring always follows the Winter, beloved, so too will any inner work with the shadow precede a beautiful rebirth for you.

Noticing our judgments of others is the quickest way to get in touch with the Shadow Self trying to grow and heal into our conscious awareness so that we can become more whole, empowered and divinely delicious as we were always meant to be! There is a part of you that is trying to emerge. You may have judgments of others on one issue or trait that seems to be more repetitive or noticeable of late. You are guided to sense what beauty within you could be underneath these judgments, trying to make its way into your conscious awareness, bringing you more of your Self to enjoy and share with the world. Be patient and open-minded as you wait for your intuition to help you realise what is growing within you, triggering your judgement of another.

The Shadow holds great beauty within, beloved, and there is no need to fear it.

IMMORTAL TREASURES

You carry within you precious Immortal Treasures, beloved. They exist beyond life and death, belonging to the celestial, heavenly realms of the Divine presence within you. Kuan Yin now guides you to honour these treasures, the gifts of your Soul, which include the ability that you have to transmit healing. Honour yourself as a Healer beloved. Whether formally or informally, your Soul brings a special healing light to humanity. You have divine support in your role as a healer, in whatever way, usual or highly unusual, that this is unfolding for you now.

Remember to take care of yourself too. An empty cup cannot fill another. It is better to allow your inner cup to be spiritually filled, and emotionally and physically replenished through balanced self-care, a bit of indulgence balanced with loving discipline and boundaries that make you feel safe and secure within. To find the right way to care for yourself, explore what might work for you. It might be yoga and meditation, a little sacred time each day to sit with crystal or talk from your heart with your Guidance, a health retreat, time in nature, a good book and some time laughing or playing with loved ones. Your healing ability will find new levels of power and strength through exploration of self-care. Trust your intuition and allow yourself to honour your own special light and the need that you might have for receiving healing just for you at this time.

Sweeping Sister Willow gently brings you healing for forgiveness and release of old pain now. Let her branches gracefully sweep any sadness and pain from your heart and Soul. Your time for greater inner freedom is dawning and the cleansing sadness and healing of forgiveness is the pathway to the greater freedom now. You deserve this freedom and you are swiftly becoming ready to gift it to yourself with the help of Kuan Yin. Forgiveness is a way to raise your vibration by shedding old energies that drain you and prevent you from having all your power available to you now. It is chance to free yourself from suffering and empower yourself.

As you forgive others you also need to remember to forgive yourself for being human and needing to learn and grow, just like everyone else. You do not have to be perfect and sometimes it is in forgiving ourselves that we become most able to forgive others too. We suffer less from harsh judgements which do not feel good for our heart and drain our soul forces. Instead we experience more kindness, sweet nurturing and enjoy more peace of mind.

At present you are growing spiritually, and you need your power in the present moment to fuel your process. Like surfing a wave, you are about to be lifted, so forgive with sincerity and wisdom, and know that this doesn’t mean you are permitting future abuse. It means you are ready to have your power in the present moment, you have compassion and allow the Universe to direct the learning of every being on this planet, you let go of thoughts of revenge and you free yourself from the past.

Weekly Reading – November 21st and Thanksgiving

Glorious happy Monday, and to my wonderful American friends – Happy Thanksgiving! I have to admit that I find it a tad odd to have Thanksgiving so close to Xmas, but hey I love to celebrate most everything (ask my kids). It could be winter solstice, summer solstice, equinox,Chinese New Year, Easter, Valentine’s, the sun is shining, the snow is falling – you name it! Even simple things like the first flowers of spring, or having gorgeous flowers on my desk whilst it is grey and rainy outside. Life is a celebration and quite frankly I chose to celebrate as much as possible.

Thus, with Thanksgiving in mind, let’s play a game before you pull a card. Let’s play the being thankful game – ready? Okay, gently close your eyes down take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale with a sigh. Doesn’t that feel good? Okay, let’s do it again. Large delicious breath in through the nose and with a glorious sigh, exhale it. With your eyes gently closed down I invite you to think of all the various people, places and things that you are thankful for – they could be present day, past day or future day.

List them all in your mind one at a time and as you bring them into your consciousness, smile and blow them a kiss (yes, seriously blow them a kiss). See the kiss leaving your hand and turning into a gorgeous gold butterfly that flies off to that person and gently lands on their right cheek and brushes them softly with your blessing, thanks and appreciation.

Now, think of all the people, places, things or situations that you have a challenge with, or that you don’t feel so kindly towards. Take a deep breath in and exhale. Bring them up one at a time in your mind’s eye and blow them a kiss. This time as the kiss leaves your hand it turns into a delightful little pink heart filled with love and forgiveness and wings its way through the ether to gently land where it is meant to. Another big breath in and as you exhale wrap your arms around yourself in a HUGE bear hug and see glorious golden light surrounding you like a cocoon and give thanks for your body, your heart, your soul, your mind and the delicious light that is you. Big squeeze and as you release your arms gently open your eyes and smile.

So shall we go look?

THE WORD WANTS TO BE WRITTEN

You might have been taught that creativity is something you have to work hard to access, or that finding your life purpose is so difficult that you must search high and low for it. Or creating a living doing what you love is impossible.

Yet what you are is within you and wants to come out at every available opportunity. You don’t have to struggle so much. It is more about allowing space for it to manifest and to let the energy flow. The effort is in getting out of the way, not in making something happen. As for being yourself, that is the foundation from which your life path and joy will reveal itself. Being yourself becomes easier when you give yourself permission to love, honour and accept yourself in all circumstances, especially the ones where you might be more tempted to reject and judge.

What you are dreaming of or seek to manifest, is actually very natural for you. That is why you want to do it. Now it is about chipping away at the walls of shame, perhaps with a defiant “Who the hell cares, I am here and I am going to love myself anyway.” Release old emotional wounds and break away from any restraints to unconditional self-love.

What you want to write, sing, dance, create or become is you. It is natural. Drop your defences, get into the grit and confront the power than any old shaming has had over you. It’s finished now. It is time for you to be naked with yourself, acknowledge how gorgeous you are and get on with your work. Life is urging you to do so, because the work wants to happen. What you want to create, wants to be created. Step firmly over any remnants of the past that have been in your way and stay on your path.

NEW BIRTH GUARDED VIGILANTLY

In every creative process, in every birth, in every opening of a new cycle of life, there is a time of vulnerability. This vulnerability is natural and appropriate. It is the foal learning to become steady on its legs Those legs will become remarkably powerful in time, but the process of growth and maturity has to take place, and that requires some wobbly first attempts. It cannot be any other way.

Within you, there is fresh new life emerging like a vibrant green shoot rising up from the earth. This new life is in need of your attention and your care. This could be a new relationship that needs tending with interest and kindness. It could be a new idea that you need to nurture into fullness, because it is going to hold special purpose for your life path. You will not always need to cloak that which is young. Soon enough it will be able to stand up for itself, but for now, your vigilance and care is most certainly required.

Hug your ideas to yourself as though they were a new lover you cannot bear to share with another. In time the world will be the lover receiving the love in your idea. For now, it is for you to love, for you to hold and for you to observe. Keep your sanctuary pure, this may be your room, a sacred place you visit, your own body, into which you retreat in relaxation or meditation. Sometimes you will find that others have taken up residence in your sanctuary. It is time to focus on the purity, light, love and compassion that dwells within you. Everything else will come and go, and that is just fine. But the purity within your sanctuary is eternal. Firmly denounce any intrusion upon the new life by doubt, fear or sabotage.

DIVING FOR LIGHT

How brave you are! You are diving for light. It’s easier to look for light in the heavenly and sweet than to look for the light in that which is dark. This is an advanced task that only a rebellious and brave heart will attempt.

You may not feel that you have taken such a journey by choice. Yet you have taken this wise challenge on from deep within your soul.

This oracle speaks of a time when you are called into darkness through life circumstances, situations, relationship challenges or inner struggles that you don’t understand. That darkness may be a creative block, a sense of being in a void or feelings of depression, rage, sadness, fear or anxiety. There may or may not be an obvious cause. The darkness might be generally accepted and socially acknowledged because there is a socially acceptable or obvious reason for it. However, there may be no obvious justification for your experience of darkness. Just know that you are actually on track and right where you need to be.

Our creative process and our spiritual path go through similar turning of the wheel process. You need to be alert to sabotage and criticism. Don’t carry other people’s fear for them. Stay in your heart. Will you stay in your heart or will you be seduced by darkness and overcome by anger or sleepiness. This is a spiritual test and a threshold for all true creative work. Stay connected to your heart, all will be well.

Interesting to see that New Birth came up again this week, so there is someone who really needs to hear that. Wishing you all a glorious week and if Thanksgiving is happening for you, enjoy, laugh and relax. See you next week.

Weekly Reading November 14th – Full Moon and Super Moon

Happy Monday. Happy Full Moon in Taurus and Happy Super Moon! Phew, what a lot of things to be happy about today. Today’s super moon is the largest moon in the last 69 years and it falls in the sign of Taurus which represents illumination. In other words “it’s about hitting that bullseye in order to awaken to our fullest potential and realise our goals, dreams and wishes.” – largest moon in 70 years. In fact this moon is going to help us to see things from a more practical and logical point of view as well as encourage us to think about our self worth and feelings of security in the world. Both practical and spiritual.

So I don’t know about you, but after the energy that has been bouncing around this last week, I am going to do some serious energy clearing and so I invite you to come into my “Energy cleaning spa” and let’s get you all bright and shiny prior to receiving guidance this week.

Gently close your eyes down (of course don’t do this if you are driving) and release your breath, let it flow out with a sigh. Feel your body as you breathe slowly in through your nose and out through your mouth and imagine you are sitting by a lovely fire on the beach. The flames dance in every shade or red and orange and throw sparks up to the clear, dark sky. The full moon is in all her glory and lighting up the rocks and water around you. On a log next to you is a beautiful shell filled with sand and on top of the sand is a sage smudge stick. As you gaze at the fire you feel a wonderful, calm, loving presence come sit next to you, it could be angelic or a spirit guide, or an ancestor that has passed. They smile at you and gently light the smudge stick from the fire and under the light of the full moon they swirl the sacred smoke around you, around the space and around the fire – creating sacred space. As you sit and breathe in the sweet smell of the sacred smoke your guide invites you to see all the energetic cords that are attached. As you look down you see a myriad of energetic cords, some thick, some thin, all glowing and heading out into the ether. Some of these cords serve you as they are attached to a loving relationship or person and they nurture you. Other chords don’t, they may be attached to someone negative or needy, perhaps a person who was unkind to you and they weigh you down and drain you.

Without judgment look at all the chords and within the circle of sacred space bless them all. Then if you are willing, invite your guide to cut all the chords cleanly and send the energy back to where it belongs blessed, healed and transferred. See those chords dissolving and dispersing being drawn into the fire and then released as beautiful sparks up into the moonlight. As each chord is released you can feel yourself getting lighter and lighter and as the last chord is cut the sense of joy, light and expansion floods through you. So much so that you tilt your head back, smile at the moon and say Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Your guide smiles and blesses you and then gently departs. As you hold your hands out to the fire knowing that energetically you are cleansed, you breathe in the last wisp of smudge smoke and as you breathe out you gently open your eyes and find yourself back in your glorious cleansed body.

Ready to see the guidance, support and love coming to you?

AGAINST THE GRAIN

You want birds to able to fly underwater. You want love to trump power. You want humanity to relate to each other as equals and to recognise the sacredness in you and in the world around you. You want to unleash the beauty that hides in even the ugliest of scenes or sentiments. You want to make possible what others say cannot be. You are a radical dreamer, a sacred rebel, and you bring the light of a more positive future to this world.

However, this can have its burdens. Deep within you may feel that you don’t really fit in with the rest of the world. Perhaps your sense of how things can be and how they really are, is so different to the smaller minds or more fearful hearts of many others that you are rarely received for all that you offer. This might make you feel frustrated, thwarted or lonely at times.

You are someone who lives and breathes in the depths of creative waters. You need to lose yourself to the flow of music, nature, dreams, imagination and fantasy, through art and literature, meditation, dance and in sensual surrender to the sacred waters of the ocean, the river, the lake – or the bathtub! You must go against the grain. It is just your way. You are not one of the followers but one of the agitators. You are a loving catalyst and by simply being yourself, you constantly remind people that there is always another way. You are meant to be exactly as you are. You are meant to be the black sheep, the rainbow sheep or even the wild wolf in the flock of sheep! When we are who we are in truth, we attract the support, protection and energy that we need to thrive. Your power comes from aligning your outward self with your inner truth, not with the general consensus. You will then find other dreamers, other wild butterflies and atypically coloured sheep to join you in conjuring better visions for our world.

NEW BIRTH GUARDED VIGILANTLY

INSPIRATION

An idea has captured your attention – or will do so very soon. It may be a grand vision or the vague sense of something that could be. You are being encouraged to accept the vision, the idea or the inspiration as it is important to your creative and spiritual growth.

Also, it IS possible. The bee is bringing you healing medicine-wisdom from nature to aid the message of the oracle of Inspiration. The bee is a powerful spirit totem. Bees are able to fly with wings that are significantly small in proportion to their heavier bodies. Your idea, even if it seems like a big, substantial plan that might be difficult to “get off the ground” and up and running, can succeed. You will attract great helpers to you and the Earth will support the success of this project, idea or vision, because it is about helping the greater good, as well as your own growth and development.

Allow inspiration to fill you with enthusiasm, an expectation of magic and marvelous synchronicity, as people, situations and opportunities fall into place to help bring your inspiration into reality. This idea has the potential to flower into so much more than you realise. You are meant to think and do things differently . Your inspiration comes direct from the universal creative source and you are being asked to believe and recognise the signature of great intelligence within your inspirational ideas and creative urges – and to act accordingly. Weekly Reading November 7th

Happy Monday delicious lovely and happy day before the American election! How have you been? I don’t know about you but I felt quite out of sorts this last week. A tad short tempered, a little judgmental and as if I wanted to be or do something else, fragmented is the word I would use. Top this off with totally peculiar dreams that were not user friendly. Yup. My body responded by feeling agitated and not being able to quiet. At one point I was having a WTF meltdown, lol, soooo not pretty but obviously necessary as it brought me up short. I had put some of my key self-care practices to the side as I was “busy, busy, busy”, but those practices are what keep me connected, grounded and tuned in, turned on and tapped in.

When I went to my glorious Kundalini class on Saturday we talked about Peace and the whole kriya was based on peace, connection and unity. Aaahhhh, that was what I needed, the reclaiming of connection and peace, that was what I had been missing. So if you are willing, especially on the night prior to the American election, let’s explore peace, peace within you, peace surrounding you and peace from you. We are working with the amazing Sacred Rebel deck and as I was playing with the crystals, rose quartz insisted it be the only crystal with Selenite there to amplify it. So let’s go play in the heart space and explore Peace.

So with that sense of Peace, let’s go pick.

Are you ready to see what guidance is coming to you this week?

INNER TRUST

Though it may be cloaked and hidden, within you lies natural magnificence, vibrancy and true uniqueness. The harder this is for you to believe, the more growth you are being offered now. Your opportunity for growth lies in letting go of the need to hide yourself from the world and to let go of any doubt about the wonder of what lies within you. It is tie for you to trust yourself and let the real, inner you out from behind the veil.

You know what you are doing! You have enough wisdom and intuition to be able to place yourself more fully in the word, to take steps to unhide yourself! Even if you feel you have no clue about what is happening at a broader level in your life, even if you can’t quite see the whole picture of what is taking place within or around you, you still have all the wisdom and intuitive ability you need to take one step at a time and navigate your way through absolutely anything that life brings to your door.

This is not a time of self doubt or playing small. It is a time to get in touch with the courage, boldness and dare-devil within, and to take that step, big or small, into the future that is beckoning you forward. You have the wings to fly. Sometimes we don’t realise it until we leap over the edge of what we have known and begin to soar into a new life.

LEGACY OF LIGHT

You are being asked to honour the legacy of light that is your sacred birthright. This is a sacred endowment from the great universal source of light to humanity. It is the light of wisdom, creativity, radical courage, love and respect that is passed down from the heart of each generation to the next. The legacy of light is your spiritual birthright to refine and shine your essence into the world….to be like a sun, radiant and unapologetic of your nature.

The more you are nourished by this legacy of light from your past, the more you become a bearer of the legacy for those that will be supported by your light in the future. A creative choice you are making, or have made, or soon will make, is one that is in alignment with your sacred purpose and spiritual path of healing and growth. The legacy of light cannot be ignored without some detriment to your sense of wellbeing. If you were asking about a particular question and chose this card, then part of the answer to your question is that the issue at hand is one of utmost importance to your spiritual growth – even if it seemed like relatively insignificant question. You are to shine!

The legacy of light also asks you to call on the unconditionally loving support that exists for you, every day. This light will offer you all manner of assistance. To not call upon it is like starving because you have no means to acquire food, whilst a feast lays before your eyes – if only you would partake of it! You have some special creative and healing offering to make to the world in this lifetime. You will leave a legacy of light for the greater good upon this planet and you will be lovingly supported in many ways by the great creative universal intelligence when you ask for help.

SACRED FOOL

The fool is a great rebel, able to thwart convention and tell the truth without restraint. Your heart is a wonderful, powerful, sacred fool! It cares not for the right way to do things. It cares not for what the mind says is real and not real. It lives according to an inner wisdom that cannot be dictated to or controlled by anything. It loves, it lives and it is what is!

It’s time to take your offer to the world. Don’t try to be appropriate, don’t try to be socially acceptable and worry about what others may think – just be. If you want to wear a mad hat whilst doing so, fine.

It’s time to leave behind what has been because it no longer feels right to stay attached to it. Your mind is a monkey puppet on strings. More often than not, it is cajoled into fear when it could be playfully dwelling in the radical spontaneity of life. So, the sacred fool in you urges your mind to let itself be pulled into joy by your heart strings not into fear and doubt by media or anything else. It’s time for you to play.

It’s time for you to let life happen in a completely unreserved, unscripted way. Life wants to operate more radically through you so that you become the conduit through which miracles and crazy wild synchronicity can occur. If you find yourself making choices that have others questioning your sanity, then you are right on course. You are just approaching enlightened awareness. There is a moment – sometimes a rather long one – when we wake up to life, shed our attachment to mass opinion and float in a completely different state of being. Stay on your path, stay on the journey, remember to take nothing too seriously and it will all work out perfectly.

Reading October 31st (Halloween)

Happy Halloween, Samhain and Scorpio New Moon! (Well that’s a lot of lovely energy to work with for sure). I’m back from 2.5 glorious weeks in the UK where the name of the game was play, explore and participate. It was absolutely wonderful. I love the countryside, people the history and age of the buildings – there is something so awe inspiring to walk the corridors of a building that was built 1000 years ago.

So with that theme of history in mind this Scorpio New Moon is all about inviting the spirits of our ancestors to join us and share their wisdom. This is turn reminds us to awaken to our fullness and shed any outmoded forms of being so that we can shapeshift into a new reality. “ It’s time to step into personal as well as our collective Darkness with courage and a willingness to ‘take Death as your adviser’ ad don Juan advised Carlos Castaneda. Layer on top of that Samhain (Halloween) where the veil between the living and the dead is at it’s thinnest and we can call for help, advice and support in our transformation across layers of time and space from loved ones who may not necessarily be physically with us anymore.

You may have noted that I used the word Samhain as what we call Halloween is actually an old Pagan holiday and is the festival of the Dead. Meaning “Summer’s End. It is a celebration of the end of the harvest and the start of the coldest half of the year and it is also the beginning of the spiritual new year. Customs involved, bonfires, candles, cemetery visits, ancestor stories and a feast of the dead. In the 1500s, ‘Guising’, the act of going from door to door in disguise was practices throughout Ireland, Scotland and Wales. It was a tradition for a man covered in a white sheet and carrying a decorated horse skull to lead a group of youths, blowing on cow horns from farm to farm. The concept of moving from place to place dressed as a demonic being eventually evolved into the modern trick or treat.

Are you willing to hear the guidance offered?

VOICE OF AN ANGEL

You have something to say. There is a unique voice within you that wants to be expressed creatively in the world. Whether it is a conversation you need to have, a truth stated, a song to be sung or a book to be written, honour your voice. Know that it is inspired and can help not only your own spiritual growth, but support others on their path too.

If you do not allow inspiration to flow, you will feel blocked,a s though something that needs to happen naturally is not happening. It is an uncomfortable sensation that can lead to feelings of depression, self doubt, lack of confidence and eventually wear away at your self-esteem. Sometimes we unintentionally hold ourselves back from expressing the inspirations, ideas and imaginations we feel because we are afraid – afraid that we are making it up, that we will be judged or fail to deliver a worthy expression of the idea. Maybe we think someone else will do it better anyway, or we simply don’t choose to value our inspiration enough to make it a priority in our lives and don’t set aside time and devote energy to it to bring it to life.

Have trust, courage and confidence in yourself and to follow through on the gift of an idea that has been given to you. This is not a time to keep quiet, play it safe, hold yourself back, or allow others to step up and speak for you. It is your time to speak your truth, to express yourself, to have confidence in your own ideas and inspirations and in your own voice. The time has come for these ideas to transform into physical reality.

BRILLIANT VIRGIN

In a world where we are bombarded daily with differing opinions and ideas, remaining true to you and your own point of view is nothing short of brilliant. Let go of confusion, distortion, comparison and compromise. You do not need to compare yourself to another or measure up to anyone or anything else. What matters to you and your successful life journey is to be in touch with your own truths. You know what you feel, no matter what anyone else says or believes. Stay true to you!

We have to trust that the inner vision, the hope, the dream within us, is going to be strong enough to stand the rigours of birth, and be able to come to life in the world. Sometimes we have to trust that we are enough, that we have goodness, value and worth, and so are worth the time, effort, patience and commitment required to transform our ideas into realities.

Stay true to you and your course. Do not allow yourself to be swayed by another, no matter how well-meaning their intentions may be or how impressive their arguments may seem. Do not water down the strength of your vision, your dream. You are meant to be birthing something unique into being. The world needs your originality! Pray for courage. Trust yourself.

There is an original you, the you that has always been and will always be you. No matter how much the outer forms of your body, your work, your lifestyle, your world seem to change, the original, essential you is always there within, unique, precious and just as you were created to be.

Within you is an intelligence that helps you adapt to various life circumstances and situations. You might do this consciously or unconsciously, but the point of any type of adaptation is survival. There is more meant for you in this life than merely surviving. You are actually meant to thrive. You thrive most fully, abundantly and deliciously when you are just YOU. Not the version of you that another may prefer, nor the one that helps you fit into the crowd, but just YOU – as you have always been.

It’s time to get back to the essence of you. It might be time to go back to the things you dreamed about in childhood, or something that really feels like it expresses the true you but that you cast aside for some very logical and sensible reason or other. That might be a talent, passion or lifestyle you were pursuing, or a deep-seated need to create or express yourself through art, clothing, music or dance. It’s time to reclaim it. Love yourself and let yourself live, thrive and express the original genius of you.
