Weekly Reading February 6th.

Happy delicious Monday, gorgeous one! I have to say it’s good to be back, that was one heck of a flu. I get rather grumpy when I’m sick as I normally feel like death warmed over and I rail against all the things that I want to be doing (I have learned to let go of the “should be doing” things). This time I was a lot kinder and gentler with myself (and the other humans around me), and gave myself permission to sleep, to do nothing but heal and to trust that my body knew how to heal itself. Although I did suck back a lot of oil of oregano, goldenseal and echinacea! But it all paid off and I am back to my bouncy energetic self.

Last night we had a huge dump of snow, approximately 2.5 feet, so the schools and colleges were closed as were most of the government agencies and a good half of private businesses, as the roads were brutal. The fun part about all this snow is watching how people step up and help each other – whether it is shoveling out their vehicle, getting over a large snow bank, clearing their sidewalk, everyone seems to pitch in and get er done. But after spending quite a while shovelling snow so that I could get out to my vehicle I am quite enjoying looking at the pristine white that is bedecking the trees, mountains, houses and gardens.

So on this gorgeous snowy day let’s go see what Universal Guidance is waiting for you, for lovely little gem of divine inspiration is inviting you to come play.

I invite you to gently close your eyes down and take a glorious deep breath in, nice and slow through your nose and then a lovely sigh like exhale through your mouth. Keep breathing in this way and see at your heart centre a glorious ball of warm light. Envision this ball of light moving down your body and going out the soles of your feet, down, down, down into the gorgeous molten core of the earth. Feel it click into the gorgeous grounding earth energy and then move itself back up and through your lovely body and out the top of your head. As it moves up, up, up it expands completely around you so that you are standing in the middle of this lovely warm light and feel, as it expands out into the Universe, feel it click into the universal energy – the realm of infinite possibilities. Now that you are connected to earth and Divine, your ball of light moves slowly back to your heart space and gently sits there, nurturing, guiding, healing and loving. With this energy surrounding you, in you and through you, gently open your eyes and trust yourself as you pick the card that calls to you.

VISIONS OF LIFE BEYOND DEATH

Sacred vision is awakening within you. You’re becoming blessed with the ability to truly see. To see what is real rather than what appears to be. This is true insight. What was once considered consequential may soon be found to hold little consequence after all. What was once dismissed as an irritation or irrelevance may be seen to have great spiritual significance.

If you have been wondering about your life path or whether you should take action on a project or you need inspiration to really move you out of a slump you have fallen into, then this oracle brings you a message of hope. You will receive your vision. You will be graced with a way out of the stagnancy. You are leaving behind a smaller view for a more expansive one. You are watched over in life and held in protection.

Shift your perspective and look at an issue of concern a little differently. Your ability to be inspired and see the light in all things is unfolding. It must be nourished in your heart with loving acceptance because you are going to help others through your vision, your art and how you choose to be in the world.

GOING BEYOND NORMAL

On the path of life there are deciding moments where we can choose to go with the mainstream or we can dare to take a bolder, more authentic and trusting way – even if it seems riskier or less safe. To rely solely on logic and science, without incorporating the mysterious and magical is a recipe for an existence that is far too dray! The sacred rebel within our hearts will always choose a juicier approach to life. You are currently approaching such a choice point.

There is a time and place for logic, strategy, planning and measurable outcomes. These are not bad tools to have but we must be vigilant not to worship them or allow them to quash our less rational, but equally valuable decision-making tools: intuition, feelings and those things you know, without knowing how you know them! You are being asked to stay open to the intuitive approach in your life, your work, your creativity as well as in your spiritual journey. You are moving outside of the plan and logic! You are living on the border of what is socially accepted. This is good. This is fringe-dwelling freedom. You now have a chance to live from the heart more deeply and expressively than ever before. You can give up forcing or squashing yourself down into a very limited set of so-called desirable qualities like intellect and control.

You are going to be breaking with tradition. Perhaps not entirely but at least in a way that is meaningful to you. This will require you to have courage in your convictions and faith in your heart truths. This will help you inspire others around you to step out of fear and live more freely and lovingly. It’s time to get a bit wild and let nature take its course!

BRING IT INTO FORM

Beautiful dreamer, you can imagine wonderful worlds of light. You can dream up so many possibilities. Now it is time to bring those possibilities of light into the world. They need to be more than ideas. They need to live, to manifest. The world needs not only your dreams, beautiful as they are, but also your creations.

Get thee to thy desk! Thy easel! Thy computer! Create!

You are being asked to honour yourself with a commitment to complete your inspired tasks. This will help you to grow and that is a wonderful reason to commit. But, there is another reason too – you know that your inspired ideas are worth translating into practical forms so that other people can access them and experience something special too.

If you have been thinking about writing a book, painting a picture or acting on an inspiration or idea, then are being told and unequivocal YES! Do it. Now. Don’t dally or dither about the details or worry about how it is all going to work out. The universe loves a bold spirit. Once you take a step, it will rush toward you like an enthusiastic and chivalrous lover – opening doors, hand gently guiding at your lower back – as you are moved forward.

This oracle confirms that the information you need to translate your ideas into form will be provided according to the higher wisdom of life. It may or may not happen by traditional routes. Even if it seems unimaginable, when it is time for something to be born into form, nothing can stop it. It will happen!

Weekly Reading January 9th – First of 2017

Happy 1st reading of this glorious New Year! I hope you had a relaxing, nourishing holiday season and have picked your WOTY that will become your touchstone in every aspect of your life. I took some lovely quiet time between Christmas and New Year and did a few releasing processes which helped clean out my energy (so now it’s even more sparklicious), which in turn helped me find my word and this year it is – SHINE! So with that as my touchstone it’s been a busy first week creating new programmes to better serve you, a new e-book is on the way and a delicious challenge is being created for March. So let me ask, how has your first week of this year been?

One thing I have noticed with myself and with others is the perfection gremlin raising his ugly head. So often when we have a big vision for the year – I mean a kick arse big vision and then enter into the planning mode a sense of getting lost in the minutiae and overthinking the tiny details starts flailing around. Which, for me, in turn kicks up my ever lurking “perfectionist” mindset and then everything goes to hell in a hand basket for an hour as fear starts creeping in or I decide I need to distract myself by watching a ridonculous video on Facebook. Can you relate to this at all?

So before we go see what glorious guidance this delicious new Oracle deck has for us, let’s take a moment to get centred, clear and present.

Now let’s go see what’s in store for this week.

SISTERS OF THE SACRAL SPIRAL

I create by weaving a web of love, drawing threads from the past and looping these with threads of the future, drawing them together, back and forth, over time, until the beautiful present moment is rich, full and abundant with love interwoven. What this means is that when you grow you do not only grow in one direction. You are a natural creation and so you grow according to natural law. That means you grow and expand in spirals rather than straight lines. Expansion means that not only will you encounter more light as you grow, but you’ll also tap into more of your shadows and that brings with it its own tests and challenges – and opportunities, of course.

You are going into, or are already in, an intense period of personal and spiritual growth. This will entail much joy and forward movement towards your destiny, and also some confrontation with the darkness in your own being – fear, doubt, grief – but more than that, any part of you that is unwilling to let go and trust in what is taking place. You will need to trust more than you ever have before. The universe wants to bring more abundance, fulfillment and experience to you than exists in your world at present. So you’ll need to be more open and receptive to what is on its way. Keep trusting, keep going. Love is guiding you and it is prevailing, but you have to trust in the process.

BLESSING TO BEGIN

Accepting my blessings and help will not create dependency or prevent you from taking responsibility for applying yourself to a task. My gifts imply amplify the results of your efforts. I do this because I am invested in your success. It will bring happiness to more people than you realise and your desires, and mine, are in perfect accord. You are being given a divine leg up, a blessing to begin. The Divine is going to help you launch something important – an idea, a seedling of hope, a new start. Accept the help and opportunity that so easily comes your way now, but also remember that you are being given help because there is something of great worth here. If there are new opportunities coming your way, act on them. Say yes!

Whatever stage you are at in the manifestation of your dreams, be it the earliest glimmer of a vision or one that you have invested decades of your life to and on which you are far along the path, the gift of the Mother is bestowed upon you – her red poppy of success. She has guided you and shall continue to do so, offering protection whenever needed whilst allowing you room to spread your wings. Ask for help and trust also that whatever is before you, you can handle it, even if sometimes you question that before conquering the issue at hand. The assurance and blessing of the Divine Mother empowers your own soul to take even the most apparently impossible or intimidating of prospects and turning them into accomplishments whilst growing in self-confidence and self-mastery. So believe in yourself. The Divine Mother does.

SURRENDER SENSITIVE SISTER, BE MOVED BY THE MOON

You know what you know. Even when you don’t know how you know! I speak to you through that knowing. The intuition that is beyond logic. The feeling that has no physical proof as yet. The instinct to keep going, to trust yourself and take the journey before you. Be open and truthful with all that you feel and resist nothing. It shall then simply flow, changing like the phases of the moon, naturally and without effort on your part.

Something is happening. You cannot see it, but in your most sensitive and responsive moments you feel it. You are asked to explore your particular way of sensing energy. Don’t discount what you feel. Recognise, honour and be moved by it. You are gifted with an ability to feel what is before the conscious mind of others recognise it – a gift for perceiving what is going to be because you feel it in your bones. It matters not whether another sees or feels as you do. You are meant to be moved by the moon. It is part of your nature. Don’t try to toughen up or protect yourself, or become less sensitive, less emotionally-attuned or less moved by energy and feeling. This can become your greatest asset, a source of wisdom, truth and even strength. Do not be hesitant to embrace your gifts. You shall find a way to work with them so you are not compromised or depleted.

If you have been feeling something – a choice, a need to express a feeling, the need to pursue a course of action – that seems entirely at odds with your rational mind – trust in and explore the impulses from within. Always call on the guidance that loves you unconditionally and then follow your feelings as they guide you along your divine life path with intelligent grace.

Weekly Reading December 19th

Happy glorious Monday and almost Solstice (I love Solstice), to me it is a time of reflection, going inwards and really having a nosy around my soul and psyche. This year we will have our ritual of a gorgeous cedar spiral walk and I am making a glorious Solstice smudge out of Frankincense, Myrrh, Cedar and Juniper – I will write more about that tomorrow. It’s also the birthday of my youngest monster, so a great lesson in balancing frenetic boys and celebrating the inward. HA! On the weekend we also lit the 4th candle of Advent – which is the candle of Peace.

Ahhh Peace, such a lovely sounding word, but often a difficult state of being to get into. What does Peace mean to you? To me it is inclusion, acceptance, understanding and a strong hopeful love that radiates out from every cell of my being. Sometimes it is there very fleetingly and other times it seems to last much longer.

So with Peace in mind let’s go see if we can find some prior to picking cards.

So let’s go pick.

TURQUOISE LOTUS MOTHER

Turquoise Lotus Mother brings precious healing to you now. Allow yourself to be lifted out of your struggle, beloved one. An old pattern is finally in its death throes, something that weighed heavily on you from your past. This is can be one of the most testing times to allow something to go, just when it seems to be demanding of your time, focus and attention. Yet do not doubt, you have actually learned the lessons it required of you and now you are being blessed with an opportunity to receive karmic healing.

Your Soul has learned what it needed from the situation and it has asked for a divine hand up, so that it might continue on its divine path of growth without unnecessary karmic weight pulling it down. DAUGHTER OF THE PHOENIX

When the Soul is ready to spread its wings, it goes through a deep cleansing, purification and preparation for new levels of spiritual wisdom, power and light. Just like the Phoenix that is baptised through celestial fire to be born anew, you are going through such a phase of heavenly purification, preparation and initiation. This is an advanced phase of soul growth and soon after you will enjoy greater spiritual peace, divine power and advancement on your divine life path, Kuan Yin, Daughter of the Phoenix, has been through fire both physical and heavenly and has ascended into a position of great spiritual peace, power and authority. Do not fear the challenges. You would not be taking these “spiritual exams” if you were not ready to live at a higher spiral of consciousness. Have some faith in your own progress and remember not to get attached to what is “leaving” your consciousness as you are preparing to ascend. Surrender that which needs to be burned away.

SHINING LOTUS

There are times when it makes sense to be discreet, until you find your inner strength so that you feel empowered enough to share your thoughts, feelings and beliefs without wavering, even in the face of challenge by another. At other times, we benefit ourselves and others by taking a risk and allowing the inner lotus blossom of our true Self to shine forth, for all to behold.

Have you been hiding in the spiritual closet, beloved? Sometimes it makes sense to avoid sharing your thoughts and feelings about spiritual beliefs and other personal matters until they are clearer in your own mind. However, there are also times when hiding your deepest truths away from the world will no longer protect you but actually hold you back from living your divine destiny, shining the lotus light of your own Soul and walking your path in the world.

If there is something that you have been holding within, you are guided to listen to your heart for the right time and the best way to share it. Be gentle with yourself and know that you have a right to be here on this planet in your own truth and that no matter what the response, whether a response of affirmation and love, or a response of discomfort, your truth serves the greater good.

Weekly Reading – December 5th.

Happy glorious Monday! Here the temperature has dropped and it is brrrrrr – frigging chilly! But the sky is blue and the sun is out, so that more than compensates for having to warm up the vehicle and bundle up like the Michelin Man. How has your week been? Are you getting overwhelmed with the holiday season or are you pacing yourself?

Yesterday we lit the second candle in our lovely homemade Advent wreath – this is the candle of Hope (it’s also the celebration of the light of plants – plants that reach up to the sun and in the breezes dance). Now the word “Hope” has never been one of my favourite words as I find it is used far too much i.e. – I hope the kids do their chores, I hope I win the lottery, I hope the cat doesn’t cough a hairball on the clean laundry………. So the word Hope always felt a bit banal to me, so I went exploring and reading and really like this definition, it is one I can get behind:-

“Hope is a feeling of trust, a security, and a reason to keep going. It is a passionate desire of our heart. It is a feeling of expectation and a longing for a certain thing to happen.” – Verity Russell

I love the sense of a feeling of trust, security and a reason to keep going and also that it is heart based, not head based. Test it out this week and see if it resonates for you, so when you use the word Hope conjure up the feeling of trust, security and passionate desire.

So with Hope in mind let’s get centred and ready to pull, okay?

Gently close your eyes down and take a long, luscious slow breath in – hold it, hold it and release it as a sigh – letting any busy-ness, stress or confusion flow out. Keep breathing long and deep and see in your mind’s eye a gorgeous winter landscape. The snow is deep but firm and such a pristine white that it reflects the light of the moon and lights up the landscape. As you walk out on the snow, hearing the crunch under your boots, you can see the trees are all adorned in snow crystals and their boughs are ladened with last nights snow – it’s as if they are all dressed in sparkly white outfits and ready to attend a ball.

Standing in the middle you look up to the night sky and there are stars starting to peek out and the moon is a glorious crescent suspended against the dark night carpet. The air is fresh and crisp and as you breathe it in you can feel it tingle all the way down to your toes. Standing still in this silent snowscape you bring to mind the Hopes you have, those Hopes that you have a passionate desire for. They could be relationships, work, children, water, peace, a romantic love – whatever they are for you. As you think of the first one, cup your hands in their cosy mitts in front of your face and whisper your Hope into them and then throw it up into the air. Keep doing this, whisper each Hope into your cupped hands and then throw it up to the sky. As you release the last one you look up to the sky and you see that each Hope has taken on a different colour and it is as if the Northern Lights have appeared just for you. The colours dance, stretch, expand and move – showing you that your Hopes have been heard and are being acted upon. Revel! Revel in the colours, the validation, the pure joy of the moment and smile. When you are ready take another deep breath in and whisper – Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Take another deep breath and slowly come back to your body and open your eyes.

TRUST YOURSELF

You are wise. You know how to grow, even without knowing how you know.

Like the ancient forests, spectacular galaxies and the acorn that becomes the oak, there is natural intelligence for growth that is beyond logic and reason. It just happens. You are growing. You really are. Don’t doubt it. Even if you don’t see it yet, remember that so much is happening when the seed is still unbroken in the ground. It’s gathering up all its’ might, power and force that it will need to push above the soil and burst up into the light. Trust yourself. You know how to grow. Don’t over think things, it won’t help you. Don’t worry so much, you are doing a great job in this game of life. When you trust yourself, you relax and you can heed your own wisdom, insight and messages much more clearly and easily.

You have a big destiny this lifetime and much to experience. Sometimes you make the error of judging something that is unpleasant as negative or a mistake. It isn’t. It’s just part of your great hunger for experience.

Don’t resist any points of instability in your life. This even applies to your most treasured relationships or creative projects. That instability is just a growing pain because more consciousness, more love and more light wants to infiltrate and pervade all parts of your life. Choose to flow and grow.

THE WORD WANTS TO BE WRITTEN

You might have been taught that creativity is something you have to work hard to access, or that finding your life purpose is so difficult that you must search high and low for it. Or creating a living doing what you love is impossible.

Yet what you are is within you and wants to come out at every available opportunity. You don’t have to struggle so much. It is more about allowing space for it to manifest and to let the energy flow. The effort is in getting out of the way, not in making something happen. As for being yourself, that is the foundation from which your life path and joy will reveal itself. Being yourself becomes easier when you give yourself permission to love, honour and accept yourself in all circumstances, especially the ones where you might be more tempted to reject and judge.

What you are dreaming of or seek to manifest, is actually very natural for you. That is why you want to do it. Now it is about chipping away at the walls of shame, perhaps with a defiant “Who the hell cares, I am here and I am going to love myself anyway.” Release old emotional wounds and break away from any restraints to unconditional self-love.

What you want to write, sing, dance, create or become is you. It is natural. Drop your defences, get into the grit and confront the power than any old shaming has had over you. It’s finished now. It is time for you to be naked with yourself, acknowledge how gorgeous you are and get on with your work. Life is urging you to do so, because the work wants to happen. What you want to create, wants to be created. Step firmly over any remnants of the past that have been in your way and stay on your path.

FOCUS ON THE LIGHT

A tremendous force of light is gathering around you. It is attracted to the purity of your intention to create from your heart. As your intention grows, so does the light. As the light grows, so does your intention. Magic wants to happen for you now! The synchronicity, perfect timing, opportunities and information that are needed will seem to be drawn right to your door. You may start to feel as if you cannot walk outside without stumbling into something helpful, wonderful and inspiring.

It is best to stay focused on your heart and intentions. Just allow all else to happen of its own accord, without making it mean anything too personal. Simply let it be the workings of the great light of love, flowing through a pure heart and touching the world. Even if the light that is drawn to you and flows through you has some dazzling effects, you don’t have to get caught up in it.

Don’t be distracted by other paths around you at this time as you are too close to succeeding on the one you are on now! Diluting your energies, in the pursuit of too much will slow down your success and the world needs your light to shine sooner rather than later! In time you may diversity and explore other ways to express yourself but for now, build what you are working on and know that success is coming swiftly.

What a glorious reading! I loved how all the cards worked together. So remember to practice Hope this week and to be gentle with yourself and others in this holiday season.

Weekly Reading November 14th – Full Moon and Super Moon

Happy Monday. Happy Full Moon in Taurus and Happy Super Moon! Phew, what a lot of things to be happy about today. Today’s super moon is the largest moon in the last 69 years and it falls in the sign of Taurus which represents illumination. In other words “it’s about hitting that bullseye in order to awaken to our fullest potential and realise our goals, dreams and wishes.” – largest moon in 70 years. In fact this moon is going to help us to see things from a more practical and logical point of view as well as encourage us to think about our self worth and feelings of security in the world. Both practical and spiritual.

So I don’t know about you, but after the energy that has been bouncing around this last week, I am going to do some serious energy clearing and so I invite you to come into my “Energy cleaning spa” and let’s get you all bright and shiny prior to receiving guidance this week.

Gently close your eyes down (of course don’t do this if you are driving) and release your breath, let it flow out with a sigh. Feel your body as you breathe slowly in through your nose and out through your mouth and imagine you are sitting by a lovely fire on the beach. The flames dance in every shade or red and orange and throw sparks up to the clear, dark sky. The full moon is in all her glory and lighting up the rocks and water around you. On a log next to you is a beautiful shell filled with sand and on top of the sand is a sage smudge stick. As you gaze at the fire you feel a wonderful, calm, loving presence come sit next to you, it could be angelic or a spirit guide, or an ancestor that has passed. They smile at you and gently light the smudge stick from the fire and under the light of the full moon they swirl the sacred smoke around you, around the space and around the fire – creating sacred space. As you sit and breathe in the sweet smell of the sacred smoke your guide invites you to see all the energetic cords that are attached. As you look down you see a myriad of energetic cords, some thick, some thin, all glowing and heading out into the ether. Some of these cords serve you as they are attached to a loving relationship or person and they nurture you. Other chords don’t, they may be attached to someone negative or needy, perhaps a person who was unkind to you and they weigh you down and drain you.

Without judgment look at all the chords and within the circle of sacred space bless them all. Then if you are willing, invite your guide to cut all the chords cleanly and send the energy back to where it belongs blessed, healed and transferred. See those chords dissolving and dispersing being drawn into the fire and then released as beautiful sparks up into the moonlight. As each chord is released you can feel yourself getting lighter and lighter and as the last chord is cut the sense of joy, light and expansion floods through you. So much so that you tilt your head back, smile at the moon and say Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Your guide smiles and blesses you and then gently departs. As you hold your hands out to the fire knowing that energetically you are cleansed, you breathe in the last wisp of smudge smoke and as you breathe out you gently open your eyes and find yourself back in your glorious cleansed body.

Ready to see the guidance, support and love coming to you?

AGAINST THE GRAIN

You want birds to able to fly underwater. You want love to trump power. You want humanity to relate to each other as equals and to recognise the sacredness in you and in the world around you. You want to unleash the beauty that hides in even the ugliest of scenes or sentiments. You want to make possible what others say cannot be. You are a radical dreamer, a sacred rebel, and you bring the light of a more positive future to this world.

However, this can have its burdens. Deep within you may feel that you don’t really fit in with the rest of the world. Perhaps your sense of how things can be and how they really are, is so different to the smaller minds or more fearful hearts of many others that you are rarely received for all that you offer. This might make you feel frustrated, thwarted or lonely at times.

You are someone who lives and breathes in the depths of creative waters. You need to lose yourself to the flow of music, nature, dreams, imagination and fantasy, through art and literature, meditation, dance and in sensual surrender to the sacred waters of the ocean, the river, the lake – or the bathtub! You must go against the grain. It is just your way. You are not one of the followers but one of the agitators. You are a loving catalyst and by simply being yourself, you constantly remind people that there is always another way. You are meant to be exactly as you are. You are meant to be the black sheep, the rainbow sheep or even the wild wolf in the flock of sheep! When we are who we are in truth, we attract the support, protection and energy that we need to thrive. Your power comes from aligning your outward self with your inner truth, not with the general consensus. You will then find other dreamers, other wild butterflies and atypically coloured sheep to join you in conjuring better visions for our world.

NEW BIRTH GUARDED VIGILANTLY

In every creative process, in every birth, in every opening of a new cycle of life, there is a time of vulnerability. This vulnerability is natural and appropriate. It is the foal learning to become steady on its legs Those legs will become remarkably powerful in time, but the process of growth and maturity has to take place, and that requires some wobbly first attempts. It cannot be any other way.

Within you, there is fresh new life emerging like a vibrant green shoot rising up from the earth. This new life is in need of your attention and your care. This could be a new relationship that needs tending with interest and kindness. It could be a new idea that you need to nurture into fullness, because it is going to hold special purpose for your life path. You will not always need to cloak that which is young. Soon enough it will be able to stand up for itself, but for now, your vigilance and care is most certainly required.

Hug your ideas to yourself as though they were a new lover you cannot bear to share with another. In time the world will be the lover receiving the love in your idea. For now, it is for you to love, for you to hold and for you to observe. Keep your sanctuary pure, this may be your room, a sacred place you visit, your own body, into which you retreat in relaxation or meditation. Everything else will come and go, and that is just fine. But the purity within your sanctuary is eternal. Firmly denounce any intrusion upon the new life by doubt, fear or sabotage.

Bees are able to fly with wings that are significantly small in proportion to their heavier bodies. Your idea, even if it seems like a big, substantial plan that might be difficult to “get off the ground” and up and running, can succeed. You will attract great helpers to you and the Earth will support the success of this project, idea or vision, because it is about helping the greater good, as well as your own growth and development.

Allow inspiration to fill you with enthusiasm, an expectation of magic and marvelous synchronicity, as people, situations and opportunities fall into place to help bring your inspiration into reality. This idea has the potential to flower into so much more than you realise. You are meant to think and do things differently . Your inspiration comes direct from the universal creative source and you are being asked to believe and recognise the signature of great intelligence within your inspirational ideas and creative urges – and to act accordingly.
