Junkos, Tantrum Cookies and Beltane just around the corner! April 23rd weekly reading

Happy fantabulous Monday delicious one? How are you? How has your week been? I most certainly hope that you took the opportunity to do something fun and get outside into nature. I was sooo thrilled that the weather is finally becoming more Spring like and that I was able to do this reading outside! Whoot, whoot. That made me exceptionally happy. Also the fact that Beltane (May Day) is approaching is stupendous!! However, we will talk more about that next week.

It’s been a rather “interesting” week with lots of “opportunities for growth”, as I call them. In other words my darling teens have been delightfully challenging. In fact on Thursday I decided to whip up some cookies as I was leading a group of women in business growth and strategies the next morning and holy hannah my 18 year old boy must have been bathing in the “entitlement” fountain and drank too much “how foul can I be”, soda. So there are I am with one bowl of dry ingredients ready to go and one of the wet and he’s beaking away and I just thought – if I stay here there might be a likelihood that I will start hooking into this and probably rip him a new arsehole. So I bundled up my bowls, stormed over to a friends and baked the cookies there lolol. Thus, when I was running my group the next morning and one of the women asked what type of cookies they were my response was “Temper tantrum cookies, so some may taste great and others may have got the majority of the salt.” Lol.

On Saturday I bounded out of bed with the intent of a huge hike up the mountainside, through the woods and playing by the rushing streams (as the snow pack is just beginning to melt). So I loaded up the hounds and off we went, I think we had managed to get about 1km up the mountainside when within minutes the sky went black, there was a huge clap of thunder immediately followed by horizontal rain, which rapidly turned into hail and then snow! WTF! When a huge tree limb broke off and fell within an inch of the dog I figured it was far smarter to turn tail and run for the truck! It was just wild and the dogs were only too eager to get away from the bolts of lightning and the hail.

By about lunchtime the weather had cleared up and so I went out into the garden and looked around and there was a huge feeling of overwhelm. Do you ever get that, where there seems to be so much to do and you wonder how it’s all going to get done? This was were I wanted to turn tail and run as my rebellious teen was kicking up and wanting to go do something more interesting, but instead I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and made a list of all the things that had to happen from raking, to digging, to pruning – you name it, ll of it went on the list. Great, I now had a detailed list, and now what? Well I cranked the music, donned a pair of gloves and just started with one small thing and then another and within about 4 hours my garden and outside space looked spectacular and I felt a delicious sense of grubby (and believe me I was) contentment, as I love to hang out outside when I can.

I think the birds and animals appreciated the effort that had occurred as on Sunday when I was sitting out with my cuppa tea and just breathing in the beauty and the sense of quiet I looked around and there must have been 40 – 50 fat little Junkos hopping all over the lawn and in the garden beds and there were 2 fat squirrels that were frolicking at the feeder. Ahhhh, life is good and I was offered many glorious reminders to let go of how I perceive things should be and not to hook into overwhelm and negativity.

Thus, it was no surprise to me that the deck that insisted on doing this weeks reading is The Faery Forest Oracle. The dedication for this deck is as follows:- “May the wild green world and the wondrous beings of this Faery Forest heal us, inspire us and urge us all to become more who we truly are meant to be.“ The crystals that wiggled and jiggled to grab my attention are Amethyst, Apatite and Moonstone.

Otherwise rub your hands vigorously together and generate some heat between your palms. Cup your hands over your eyes and allow the heat to seep into your face relaxing all those tiny facial muscles and just breathe long and deep in through your nose and out through your mouth. Then when you feel ready gently remove your hands open your eyes and pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

THE MERCIFUL ONE

There is a time to hold on and to endure – and there is a time to open our hands and let the soul fly free. You may be remembering that death is a sacred rite, and be learning about the nature of the physical transition that is taking place. Death is a huge taboo in modern culture, yet it is a path that is sacred and walked by all of us fortunate to have lived.

So the Merciful One comes forward with love, respect and compassion to ask you to hold the space for those who are departing, and to allow yourself to let go, either of your own self, an outdated belief, a relationship that no longer serves, or of another being who is readying themselves to return to the Otherworld.

This is the card of deep, sacred change, from one stage to another, one form to another, but most truly at its heart, it is the card of letting go, and the great mercy that this letting go brings to those of us in pain, and unable to stay as we are. The Merciful One lifts pain, makes passing easy, ensures we are surrounded by loved ones, supported and held, and respects the great moment that this is. Know now that a death of a kind is coming, and the Merciful One wishes the letting go to be dignified and sacred. So let go, and let an ending continue with beauty, dignity, and mercy.

THE GREEN WITCH

When you are pure of heart, the whole world is full of potential. And this is the message from this innocent Green Witch to you. She is green as in the fresh new shoot from the seed pushing urgently towards the sun. She is green and connected to the earth, flowing with the cycles of Nature. She is green in that she looks as much to the natural world for company, friendship, and fulfillment as you currently do to fellow humans.

She is your reminder to begin to reconnect to the wild green world, to the faery forests all about you – to go back to a place where you empty yourself of expectations and stories and knowledge and just admit that in some circumstances and at some times, you are as a babe. You are newborn, and in that moment of unknowing-ness, and of admitting and embracing your own powers of renewal, you can finally learn what it is you are here to learn.

Be not so certain, or so experienced when The Green Witch comes to you. Be new. Be fresh. Be unwise, be unknowing. Be innocent. And then the new cycle can truly begin.

THE TRICKSTER

Let me be a reminder to be true to yourself, to your own personal truths, to the code within your soul. Truly, at this time it is essential for you to let your conscience be your guide, and to live according to your own creed, with open eyes. Do not fool yourself into believing another person’s vision and ideas are more important than your own – question agendas, and be aware of people’s history. For at this time, there is one about you who is attempting to persuade you to their cause, to join them in what they see is a great task, but which in truth is simply a harnessing of your power to their agenda, which is not for your highest good.

All tricksters are charming and know exactly what to say to persuade you – but this is mere language. Their deeds will not match their words, and what you are agreeing to by joining with them will be a loss of your own personal dreams for the furthering of theirs. If you allow yourself to be coerced, cajoled, and manipulated at this time, it will weigh heavily on your very soul.

Be more wary than is natural for you at this time. Do not betray yourself, or ignore the warning signs, which are all about you. Do not foolishly give away your power, but exercise it, and weave a future that is truly the one you wish to create – one, which will provide you with honour, plenty, and the satisfaction of having been true to yourself.

Well that is most interesting, all the cards are to do with letting go, being true to yourself and starting new cycles – all of which are so appropriate for the onset of Spring and Beltane just around the corner! So delicious one wishing you a gorgeous week of release, being willing to try new things and a reminder to be gentle with yourself when having to deal with ridonculous people or situations. What do Togas, Green Beer and Wishes have in Common?

Happy Magnificent, Marvelous, Manifesting Monday! So what do Togas, Green Beer, and Wishes have in common? Nothing, except they all happen this week!

Ahhh, beware the Ides of March! We have all heard that saying, but what the heck does it mean? Originally it was notable for Romans as the day of settling debts. In 44 BC it became notorious as the day Julius Caesar was assassinated. Then, if you have ever read any Shakespeare, in his play Julius Caesar (written in 1599), Caesar was warned by a soothsayer not to go out, but he did and Caesar’s good friend Brutus was there when he was killed. Hence the phrase “Et tu Brute”? Oh yes, Ides of March is March 15th.

Shortly after this we have the celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day on the 17th, where all of a sudden everyone is Irish, or half Irish! Quite fascinating to watch. Green is donned, T-shirts bearing the logo “Kiss me I’m Irish” are worn and green beer or Guinness is served in most pubs. (I personally love St. Paddy’s day as I am half Irish and I get to hear bagpipes, have a fetish for bagpipe music!) Also, on this same day it is a gorgeous New Moon in Pisces, that delightfully watery, flowy energy and a superb time to make New Moon wishes. For me personally I am very attracted to water, whether it be a burbling brook, a creek, a lake or the amazing energy of the ocean. Throw in sunshine and you can hear me holler a “Hell Yes!”

We have had gorgeous blue skies and sunshine for three days in a row!!! (Now I know some of you may be thinking – meh, what’s the big deal?) Well after months and months of grey sky, snow, ice and a cocoon like feeling it is so amazing to have the temperature warm up, the snow start to melt and the sun beat down with glorious radiance! I noticed as I bustled around town on the weekend, people were holding their heads higher, their shoulders were more relaxed and there were certainly more smiles happening! So cool to watch how, even if we don’t pay attention to it, our bodies respond to the energies of the season and the weather.

On Saturday morning I treated myself and did 3 hours of Kundalini Yoga with the most amazing Sat Kaur – where we explored cutting the ties to the “dross” so that we could focus our energy on what makes us feel happy. Thus, after a delicious kriya I thought – what makes me feel really happy that’s easy to do right now?

Sun, water, nature, exploring, connection etc. Wanting to lock that “sense” into my body I grabbed my wonderful friend Christine, our dogs and we went out to one of the Provincial Parks nearby. Here we live on a lake, it’s about 150 miles long and quite vast and with it being the tail end of winter the water level was low, so there was beach galore to walk along that went out to a spit in the middle of the lake. The wind was a tad chilly, but it pushed the water up in gentle waves that created that delicious “lapping” sound I sooooo love. The sky was that incredible robin egg blue and the large mountains at the end of the lake, which are still covered in snow, created an impressive contrast of white against the blue and the sun felt comfortingly warm on my back.

Ahhhhhhh, was how my body responded. Such a glorious reminder of grounding, being present and really appreciating the moment and not fretting about what else needs to get done. Such a divine way to spend a morning. I literally came home feeling nurtured and buzzing with energy! Which then poses the question – what is easy for you to do that makes you feel happy? What is something you can do regularly, inexpensively that really makes your shoulders drop and your heart sing?

As I sat down to do this reading, with the energy of the sun, water and New Moon buzzing through me, it was delightful to see “The Lightworker Oracle” deck come out to play. She has been rather shy and reticent in this arena, so it was very cool to see she was so bold! Her dedication is very simple but strong – “May you always turn to the light.” The crystals that chose themselves for this reading are:- Lepidolite, Moonstone and Brecciated Jasper.

Ready? Just breathe, just take a lovely breathe out and then breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Focus on what makes you feel happy. It could be a flower, an experience, a vision. Just focus on the feeling of how that makes you feel. Breathe that in. If you want some help with just getting relaxed and comfy there is a fun guided visualisation that involves water.

Then when you are ready, pick the card/cards that call to you. Remember there is no right way or wrong way, it just is. Trust yourself.

PARADIGM SHIFT

You are undergoing radical growth in your belief systems. Now is the time to challenge old attitudes and question previous expectations. You are in an extraordinary time. Great leaps forward can be made in a moment. The world you thought you knew can suddenly break open, and a new world can become your reality.

Buddhists sometimes speak of the “beginner’s mind” – that which assumes nothing and therefore is open to everything. Old souls can sometimes find it hard to recapture their “not knowingness”. Asking someone with a lot of life experience, who may have become a bit world-weary, to drop expectations and look at the world through fresh eyes can be challenging. Yet life becomes much more energising and interesting when you are open and don’t hold expectations about what will be. Suddenly, you are receptive to the Universe helping you in ways that, in the past, you did not believe possible – all because you kept an open mind.

If you are feeling that you don’t really know yourself, your relationships or your place in the world as you once did – if you are feeling that what you once held to be certain now seems to be a little shaky – these are signs that you are going through paradigm shift. This will bring you new perceptions that will free you to be in the world in new ways. You will find yourself shedding old limiting fears and misconceptions. You are stepping beyond what you have known . You are a bit like a traveller in a new city feeling awkward until she gets the “lay of the land”, and how things operate in that new place. As you trust the unexpected and unknown, the Universe will be able to help you in unexpected and previously unknown ways. Embrace the power you have to be a free thinker. Dare to think thoughts of love rather than lower your vibration by choosing thoughts of fear. Trust, for something helpful and empowering is happening in your soul.

EARTH HEALING

You are making a real contribution to the planet through your spiritual journey. Remember this and believe that your needs will be generously met by the earth and the Universe. What you are doing matters, and you will be supported.

The earth recognises you. She sees you as a conduit through which she is fed higher frequencies of light, love and divine presence. This assists her on the journey of her own evolution. You are here to have your spiritual life journey in a human body. Part of that process will involve sharing your light with the earth, itself. This may see you take on the role of healer, guide, mentor or teacher to others on the path. It may see you doing work with the natural world. It may involve an active prayer life that is ongoing through your day, praying for assistance, compassion, clearing and blessing when you see an accident on the road, an animal or person who seems to be suffering, or an item on the news that you know needs light and healing.

From the most obvious gestures to the more subtle, you are powerful enough to make a meaningful contribution to the quality of consciousness upon Earth. Earth asks you to do your work with quiet confidence and dedication. She gives thanks for all you have done and acknowledges her love for you. She will support you in your work by providing material means for you, whilst you are here on this planet. These include financial support, housing, food and human and animal relationships. She will also provide guidance for your progress, opportunities to grow and expand your field of influence, education and training opportunities, the means to take advantage of them and the chance to apply what you have learned in a real-world context. The more you devote yourself to your task of earth healing, the more the earth will support you in fulfilling your inspired goals.

If you have been wondering if the spiritual work you are doing is making a contribution – what you are doing matters! Yes, you are going to expand and grow in the work you are doing and the impact that you have in the world, because you are capable of that. Keep working, shining and growing, dear one. Your presence here is so needed and honoured.

SOUL CHILD

Rebirth is upon you, beautiful child of the Universe. You have prepared for new life, and it is starting right now. The divine moment of rebirth – which occurs after a period of struggle, of intense inner work and physical transformation – has arrived. Enjoy getting to know this new self. It is new day, a new beginning, a new you. Like an adventurer enjoying the discovery of a brand new world, take your time to explore the increase of your light, power and love.

You have undergone the death of the old order. Nothing is as it was, nor will it be so again. You have had to learn detachment, to release and let go, over and over again. In so many ways, you have experienced inner death as you have bravely surrendered that which no longer serves your growth this lifetime – even if you once loved it dearly or couldn’t imagine life without it. Deep inside, through that process, your soul has been gathering energy. It has been drawing it away from the old forms of your life and relationships, from your old beliefs about health, finances, work and from what used to hold meaning for you. It has done so in order to feed the new soul child being carried within your body. This new you is filled with divine light, love and power. Your inner soul child, this newly integrated self, is preparing for birth, now. From that which is no longer, something new is now being born.

You are ready for the next cycle or phase of your life. Even if, like a newborn colt learning to stand steady on shaky legs, you are not sure of your strength, be reassured: The new self you are experiencing will grow strong and powerful soon enough. Let confidence in your new self emerge. Reflect upon how different you are now to a year or even a month ago. Be curious about who you are now. Do not expect the same reactions or experiences you encountered in your past. It is a time of celebration and acknowledgement that a new day, a new you has begun a journey in the physical world. You shall enjoy the divine harvest of all of your growth and effort!

Phew February is here and there’s lots to celebrate! – Weekly Reading February 5th.

Happy glorious magnificent Monday!! How was the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse for you? I have heard from quite a few of you that you experienced big releases, which is awesome. I took some time that day for ritual and then spell casting in the evening (yes I did say spell casting). It was a glorious spell for Joy activation that is best performed under the Full Moon, so I most certainly did it and it felt marvelous (and my home smelled divine). I also took all my crystals outside to get a divine moon bath and the next day when I went to retrieve them all they were buried under 5 inches of snow! Thus, they gave me a very frosty reception (get it) – snort, chortle, chortle.

I am so glad that February is here! I find February one of those delicious months of dichotomy. It’s a month where we often experience the coldest night of the year, but it is also a month with Imbolc, Chinese New Year and Valentines. Thus, many glorious reasons to celebrate (if you had to have a reason that is). I love Imbolc as it’s a celebration that honours the increasing light and all things to do with home and hearth. So sometime during the month I take time to do a ritual about the energetic cleansing of the spirit of home and hearth and it really seems to align the energy of my home with those glorious energies of nurture, expansion and growth. February also feels like a month of hope as just around the corner is Spring Equinox. So when I gaze out on mounds and mounds of snow and grey low clouds, instead of wanting to crawl back into bed there is a knowing that soon there will be snowdrops pushing up at the base of the trees and everything starting to come into leaf. This is when I dig out all my gardening magasines and dream of what I’m going to plant and where, what is the feel that I want my sacred space to have and all those lovely things. If you remember the theme for January was Evaluation and Action. The theme for this month is UNFOLDING (see doesn’t that even make you think of flowers and plants?) Now what is meant by UNFOLDING – This month we examine our relationship with time, with impatience, with the masculine willful part of ourselves that always wants to push things through and make things happen, our addiction to stress and drama, and our fear of not being and doing enough. Whew!

So let’s crack on shall we? The deck that literally hurled itself at me is The Oracle of the Faery Forest, which is so gosh darn appropriate as it’s dedication is “May the wild green world and the wondrous beings of this Faery Forest heal us, inspire us and urge us all to become more who we truly are meant to be…..” Which in turn ties in with the theme UNFOLDING. The crystals that came to play are Aquamarine, Picture Jasper and Howlite, with of course Selenite as a purifier and amplifier.

Thus, take a moment and get really centred in yourself. Breathe out a long deep breath through your mouth and then breathe in through your nose. Wiggle your fingers and toes and roll your shoulders up back and down. There is a lovely guided visualisation where you become your own rainbow if you want to get deeper into being present and centred. Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

THE ANCIENT

The Ancient is so old she is almost beyond time. She is able to speak the truth without compromise – as are you. She is so old, has experienced so much, learned and taught so many lessons, that she has become powerful and influential, just as you are becoming, too. So too are you growing older, coming into wisdom. She knows that while others are now going to come to you for advice and guidance, she sees your humanity – your faults and your flaws and your feelings of unworthiness. She wishes to reassure you.

Others will come to you, seeking knowledge, awaiting a blessing, an initiation, and oblivious to the consequences of the path they wish to walk. Wisdom, true wisdom, understands complexity, and you have developed this quality. The Ancient is honourable and human, and yet more than human, and she is courageous and has made sacrifices – as have you. She sees straight through comforting illusions – as do you.

She represents ancient tradition and the challenge of defining the self, yet remaining with a tradition that you value – and this too is one of your challenges. So take responsibility in your life. You will face the battle of choice, and you will be the antidote to gurus and dominant personalities who claim to have all the answers. The Ancient recognises the challenge of being a teacher. This immersion in a world to learn the ancient arts and venerate wisdom and old ways can be expressed in many forms, but everything you are now learning has value. FAERY GODMOTHER

When the Faery Godmother comes to you, be aware that this is a time when you will discover what has been long hidden to you – your true self will be revealed in surprising ways every day, and sudden moments of heightened perception will make this time especially significant for you. People finally get found out, manipulators can be seen through, true costs of circumstances are revealed, and any lies about you will be seen. This can be hard, but it is truly a hardship that is born of protection – you are safer for knowing in whom you can trust in order to make the right choices for your soul.

Throughout these revelations and insights will be a guiding hand – and this is the Faery Godmother. She is showing you what it is you need to know in order to create and foster a life that works for you – and she is a protective force too. So what you need will come to you now, sometimes in very strange ways. Be mindful of counting your blessings at this time – for this is the energy your Faery Godmother can draw upon to keep transforming your life into one which is more abundant, magickal, meaningful, and joyful.

Note every moment of truth – they are all significant, and you are better for discovering what was once hidden from you.

QUEEN OF THE DARKWOOD ELVES

Sometimes there is a stirring, a shimmering movement, subtle but unmistakable, in the web called wyrd that connects us all. This is one such time. The Queen of the Darkwood Elves has come forth to speak with you and ask you to be aware that something is approaching. When she appears, there is a kind of foreboding and unsettled energy, akin to when a storm is gathering its power. There is a very potent force readying itself in your life, and while its impact is yet to be truly felt and experienced, it is best to ready yourself now.

So, when this card comes, make good your defences. Tend to injuries and wounds, be they psychic, mental, or physical. Take care of unfinished business, and bring in whatever you can – gather up resources and be ready for when the moment strikes and descends upon you. Because something that was unexpected could have harmed you, could have taken you unaware – but now you are forewarned, and truth be told you are now forearmed.

There is no cause to be scared, frightened, or anxious – this card indicates that you have time to prepare, grow stronger, and meet whatever it is that is coming, face on. You will move through the time you are now warned of, and you will be even stronger due to the challenge. But make no mistake – there is a challenge coming, and you can now prepare to minimise its impact and ride out the intense wave of energy it brings into your life.

It’s time for Peace and juggling Mercury Retrograde! – Weekly Reading December 11th.

Happy delicious, divine, marvelous magical Monday! How are you? How is Mercury Retrograde working for you this time round? Personally, my oven blew up, the printer stopped working, the power went out for hours and I had to get a new phone lolol. It so makes me chuckle as all of these things happened when I felt “stressed for time” and that “it had to be a certain way”, ahhh yes, well the glorious Divine had a different message such as – slow down, be present and remember to laugh, trust and breathe, feel the peace. Which I most certainly did (and laughed at it all as well). How was the last week for you – working with the tenet of Hope? This week we are working with the energy of Peace.

The other day I noticed a sign in town that was counting the days down to Xmas – it read something like “Only 18 more shopping days until Xmas.” Really? That’s what Xmas is about, shopping? Hmmm, didn’t work for me and I was a tad grumpy that there was no sign that said “Only 14 days left to Solstice and then the days start getting longer!” Ah well, we each do it our own way, but I have noticed people getting more tense, shorter fused and most certainly not smiling as much and that to me is not celebration, that feels like obligation. This is a time of connection, this is a time of celebration and creating memories (as is every day in my world). A time of Hope and Peace.

I had an interesting experience the other week I would like to share with you. I was happily sitting and writing away in my own little bubble and there was a huge WHOMPH of energy that came flooding in through my feet, down through my head and whirled like a mad thing around my body with a very clear message – What about those who need a little bit of help and extra TLC? WTF? So I sat with it for a little bit (although the temptation to bolt and run was high) and images of little people and Xmas, people cold and alone, single parents looking feeling despair and less than as they look at what they have and wonder how on earth they can even fake a Christmas dinner, pay the rent and buy a gift for each of their kids. I cried! I mean I cried a full body, holy hannah fat tears dripping onto the paper kinda cry as this had hit a really personal chord, but that’s a story for another day. I will be honest, I kept trying to pretend that this whole scenario hadn’t happened, as after all I was too busy to do anything about it, and came up with every frigging excuse under the sun. Yeah, let me tell you – don’t even attempt to run from messages from the Divine, she comes and finds you, even if you are hiding in the bottom of the closet under a pile of coats!

What ended up happening was I contacted the elementary schools and asked if they knew of any small people who might need a little TLC and support this Xmas and also if they knew of any families that might need help. I contacted the homeless shelter and asked them what they needed and blankets was the resounding answer. Within a week I had been advised of two families that could really do with a loving hand and 60 little people from 4 – 12 that could do with some TLC. So I talked to an organisation that I love and work with – The Royal Canadian Legion and they stepped up loud and proud and are doing a blanket drive and creating two amazing hampers of food, gifts and certificates for the two families. Then I threw it out on Facebook to my community to see who could help with all these little people as we only have 2 weeks and I wanted to see who was willing to be a glorious, gorgeous Secret Santa. Quite a few people in the community stepped up and were assigned a small person to get a gift for, but what gob smacked me was the support from people in different areas of the world, France, Southern US, Vancouver. Thus, as of this moment we have 35 out of the 60 little people covered with a cool gift, all wrapped and ready for them come Xmas morning. Which to me is frigging cool. So on those days when you think you are alone or don’t matter, trust me, you most certainly do. This reminder gives me that beautiful sense of peace and trust and massive joy. Each of us can make a difference, it doesn’t have to be massive and lavish, it can be heartfelt, loving and little.

Okay, so keeping with the energy of the shorter and shorter days and coming to the place on Solstice of being willing to step into the dark to bring your light beaming bright out into the world – The Divine Circus Oracle stepped up loud and proud! Now, if you have never worked with this glorious Oracle deck, this deck is for those who find it hard to follow rules, conform, bend to authority and generally do what they are told. May your rebel heart always be bold. Interesting to see the glorious crystals that wanted to come share their energy today. DARK HARLEQUIN

Bells are ringing from deep inside. Something that once had to hide is seeking your attention. It want out! It wants to be free! As you release what was once shut away, your discomfort shall turn to glee. You are a spiritual adventurer! You are not afraid to go to the edge of what you know, of who you have believed yourself to be. Even when before you there lies the darkness of unknown worlds, of undiscovered parts of you, even when you feel uncertainty, discomfort or doubt, you are still willing to figure out what it’s all about,

So you’ve come to a place in you, and in your life, where you don’t know. You don’t know what’s happening. You don’t know how to work through it. You don’t know who you are (well, not all of who you are). You don’t know what you don’t know. You are at the point of not knowing because you are growing. There will be surprises. There will be discoveries. You’ll feel awkward at times, like you are trying to see in the dark.

Don’t be afraid to let there be some inner rattling and rampaging. You are at a time when you are naturally diving into the darkness for a healing purpose. So ask the difficult questions. Do things you wouldn’t normally do. Experiment with thinking in ways you wouldn’t normally think. Be willing to let everything change for the better by first letting go of how things are now. The messier your inner world seems to be right now, the more you can expect complete and utter transformation as a new order comes into form. Expect the unexpected, for you were born to grow into what is happening now. It’s time to let the wild thing out!

NEBULA WARRIOR

There are advocates for love on this earth, those that are passionate defenders of the freedom for all beings to grow and fulfil their divine destiny. These warriors for the soul know they can either use darkness to serve the growth of the light, or allow it to consume their sense of hope, trust and faith in the right outworking of the destiny of all living things. You are being initiated in the ways of working with darkness constructively, to become a soul warrior with all living beings.

Some things in life are worth fighting for – but how do you fight with love? How do you fight without becoming bitter, hateful, tired, disconnected from the whole reason you needed to fight in the first place? To be a warrior for love and the soul, you have to be smart. You have to know how to fight without fighting, how to use the natural darkness on this planet as a way to birth a new consciousness that is unafraid. Nebula Warrior isn’t afraid of the dark. She isn’t interested in the rules of war established by fear-loving minds. She creates her own rules, not based on what people want her to believe, but based on what works to keep her free and liberate the minds and hearts of all beings.

She comes to you now because whatever situation needs healing in your life, or in the world, you have the power to bring it about. If you go for the goal directly, trying to force a change, you will be putting your considerable energy into pursuit and unintentionally set up resistance and repulsion. Guiding rather than forcing the solution to come into being , is a more effective use of your power. Do what you can do, each day. If you cannot do something you want to do, ask for help from the universe and then let it go. When you need rest, take it. You are a warrior of love and you will win any and every war, through cool compassion and smart, simple strategy.

DIVINE DISGUISE

Some blessings are obvious – the door that opens, the person who says yes and the instant success of an idea. But not all blessings are instantly recognisable. Some blessings are so veiled that at first you might consider them to be an unwanted development. A concealed blessing is either already at work in your life or on its way. Don’t worry if you feel like things aren’t working out as they should. Soon enough, the disguise will be dropped, and the blessed unmasked in all its beauty.

Blessings are the mysterious workings of the universe, there to help us along our unique life path to live our truths and fulfil our potential. The universe has the knack of knowing just what it is we need, even when sometimes we might think we need something altogether different. This is how it can be that something we resist and reject in our lives can become the very thing we’re most grateful for later on. We realise it had been a blessing masked, something actually helping us, even though it might have come in the form of a challenge or a struggle before we eventually gain great benefit from it.

The real beauty of a situation isn’t obvious to you yet. But trust and have peace of mind and a realisation that the universe does really know what it’s doing. It’s in your corner, on your side, cheering you on and helping you avoid unnecessary pitfalls, even if you don’t know they exist. There is no need to worry, even that which appears to be most troublesome is going to reveal itself to be working in your favour!

Gemini Super moon and Mercury in Retrograde – Weekly Reading December 4th

Hello delightful darling of deliciousness! How is your Marvellous Monday? Did you have a glorious Thanksgiving? It seems like Thanksgiving was just yesterday, but no it wasn’t, and wow December is already here bringing with it a Supermoon in Gemini, Mercury just went retrograde (gulp) and the energy of this month is Upgrade. So we are in a delicious energetic time (you thought you had escaped it didn’t you?) But let’s boil this all down and look at what the heck it all means.

Last month the theme was Turning the Soil, digging deep into things and coming to terms with certain areas of our lives. We are now in the last month of the year and with this Super moon in Gemini and Mercury being the ruling planet of Gemini we are being asked to do a celebrate, review, release and realign. Now what do I mean by that? As humans we are really good at looking at the things that didn’t happen, or went wrong (which is a load of bollocks), instead of regularly acknowledging and celebrating our glorious successes. So it’s time to acknowledge those and then review what goals that you set that didn’t come to fruition and ask yourself why. Please don’t use this as an exercise to beat yourself up, that’s not what it’s about, it’s an evaluation. The energy right now is about releasing the things you aren’t fully connected to and not for your highest good (or they would have come to pass) and re-visioning your future. To me that is very cool, especially as we are winding up the year and we are heading into the dark of the Winter Solstice.

Over the last couple of weeks a few new decks picked me,which I love! However, most interesting to see I had some energy about one of them. I don’t tend to do “cute”, I most certainly don’t do generic, platitudes and avoiding looking at the pink elephant in the room. So it was most strange to me when a deck kept hopping into my hands, calling to me and literally getting up and in my face. A deck that “looked cute, bland and have to say meh.” So after the third of fourth time of this deck trying to come to me I said – what the heck, and holy hannah I am glad I did. Why? I like to be real, raw, true and go deep, which means embracing all aspects of who we are. We are composites of dark and light. When we try to continually stay in that “light place” because it’s the societal norm and stuff our gifts and our truth because it makes others uncomfie it is so frigging draining! So this Oracle deck really asks you to step out of the shadows, to no longer hide your light away, and to acknowledge your individuality and strange genius. You are being encouraged to acknowledge your whole self and stop cloaking your gorgeous quirky traits in the gray garb of “normality”, it’s okay not to fit into that mould. Which again totally ties into going into the dark of the Winter Solstice to bring your light back out. So please let me introduce you to The Oracle of Shadow and Light, by Lucy Cavendish. The crystals that wiggled and jiggled to join in are:- Cinabrite, Moonstone and Snowflake Black Obsidian, good fits for this deck methinks.

I had also thought that for some December can be a bit of a challenging month with commitments, obligations and expectations running rampant. With that in mind each week there will be a brief guided visualisation to help you reconnect to the tenets of Advent – Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. So with that all being said, take a moment and just breathe. Listen to the visualisation if you want to really tap into your sense of Hope and then pick the card or cards that are calling to you.

Angel de los Muertos

I bring you a message from a loved one: one whose spirit seems to have already departed, but whose physical presence lingers on for now . I as you now to acknowledge your loved ones who are resting, in spirit, or creating new selves for their souls. You may soon be about to meet a beloved in a new form: I ask you to stay open minded about the form in which the souls can come, and I ask you to be open to the message from the loved ancestors. For they have something to tell you, and it will come to you soon, in a vision, or a dream, or a message during a daydream that will bring such sweet tangible proof of what some people still call life after death.

There is no death. There’s only life and resting and change. Be ready to be comforted and to learn more of the world beyond this world, which is always with you, but is not always believed in, or trusted, even when we send messages to you, as clear as a flag in the sky.

You are not to delay activating this lifetime’s purpose. The message is not just from those who have passed, but of the truth that you can activate your new life now, whilst alive. It is no longer necessary to pass, to re-create the life contract and purpose you have. Do not wish to leave in order to start anew: believe that this life is a constant process of creation and that you are at a point where you can end a pattern, without ending this life. Energy is changing, and death is no longer the greatest reshaper. She comes to visit you now so the fear of mortality passes and so that you understand you can being to rebirth yourself into a new life, now.

Mend A Broken Heart Fairy

Here she comes to gather up your heart’s sore pieces and place a sweet bandage on the place that is most wounded. And this one tender gesture does more to heal you than could a thousand years of therapy. It’s time for small kindnesses to be received, for you to know that the little gifts of friendship and sweetness are the ones that will assist you most at this time.

Allow yourself to be treated gently, to be attended to with kindness, and to be hugged. Allow yourself to accept that this is a time when you need to take good care of yourself. You are healing, and on the mend, but do not undo her medicine by forcing yourself to hurry up and get over it!

When you have heartache, it is important to treat yourself well: take time away from the flurry of shoulds you are so often confronted with. Why not take some time to snuggle on the couch with a favourite old movie, and have a sniffle. Have a long, comforting bath, and be sure to make a promise to yourself to let close people who are worthy of you and of your love! It is not about being bitter or guarded, but you are a sensitive and tender sweet being, and some people are just…not! So now is not the time for harshness. Soft blankets, sweet dreams, long baths, and a reduction of the harsh energy around you are best.

Then the Mend A Broken Heart Fairy can fly in to soothe you….. You will feel her presence, and she will lift the pain, until all that is left is sweet, gentle wisdom!

Violet Duchess

Bored! Stifled! Ah yes, she’s trying to be “good” and “nice” and polite – but it’s not working. This lovely and very passionate aristocrat has her fairy wings tucked firmly in, not visible at all, and is sitting stiffly, listening to someone give a lecture on manners.

In your admirable quest for balance, you can actually become too neutral, pretending to be serene, acting polite, not making waves – and not speaking your truth! Now that I’ve arrived showing you exactly how you feel, it’s time to discover – or rediscover – a raw and honest emotional reaction you had to a person, or to an issue, and express it. It’s all very well being a lover of harmony and not wanting to be a “troublemaker” but being a lukewarm person in regards to situations that really matter is not going to do you any favours. Bottling up your true self leads to unhealthy relationships, aches, pains, and even illness! Go for the passionate and truthful option – and rediscover just how strongly you can feel, and how much fun you can have!

Your desire to be liked, to please to the be seen as a “lady” or a “gentleman” is cheating yourself out of something wonderful that you deserve to experience. Sometimes, there are rules that simply need to be broken. Keeping to the spirit of the law sometimes means breaking the letter of the law, that’s how things change. There is a situation at the moment that has revealed itself as unjust, unfair, and absolutely unattractive to you, but you have yet to speak up! The most inspiring thing about this situation is that you’ll discover just how safe it is to stand up for what you truly believe in. Others will be inspired, too, so while it feels like you’re taking a risk, at first, after awhile you’ll realise you’ve started your own small revolution.

Wow, that was a very strong reading! Remember you can only see the brightness of the stars against the backdrop of the dark night sky, they are both equally important.
