Meteor’s, Fires & Eclipses – Ohhhhh My!

Happy Magickal, Manifesting Monday delicious lovely! How did you get on with the Partial Solar Eclipse we had on Saturday as well as the New Moon? Personally, I found the build up energy to the eclipse rather intense, so much so that for four nights in a row I found myself up for 2 or 3 hours in the middle of the night. The first time it happened I felt rather grumpy and anxious with the whole thing. However, by the fourth night I was thinking it was a bit of a bonus as I would get to see the meteor showers that were ramping up. There is nothing like sitting in the dark with your head tilted back looking at a deep, dark sky lit with sparkling stars, and watching shooting stars go dashing by, to remind you of how infinite our Universe is. Unfortunately over the weekend when the meteor shower was meant to be at its most glorious, a huge wind picked up and blew all the thick smoke in from the multiple forest fires burning around us. So currently even in the daylight right now you can’t see the mountains or the lake as the smoke is too thick, thus, there were no sparkly stars to watch last night.

This morning as I was sitting on my deck watching the sun slowly rising above the mountains as a strange orange light trying to burn through the smoke I thought about how as humans we talk about “energy” and how things feel to us. Then I thought about how over the last 3 days we have had an eclipse, multiple forest fires and dancing meteors. Doesn’t that mean that the Universe and Mother Nature are expressing how their energies are feeling? I think they are. Which really feeds into the theme of change, transformation and creative pragmatism – don’t you think?

I was nattering with a friend on the weekend (whilst I built a door for my completed shed – so excited!) Anyhow, he was talking about change and how he didn’t like it, he just wanted things to stay the way they were in his life and know that every day was rather similar and what the expectations were. I was sooooo gob smacked to hear this that I nearly drove a screw into my hand with my impact driver. I totally understand that change and transformation can be very tricky for most of us, especially when we haven’t instigated it – but to want to sit so rigidly within the confines of a rather narrow comfort zone seems to me to be foolish. Thus, for about an hour we bantered back and forth about change and I likened it to an egg (stay with me on this one). Let’s say I am making you breakfast and I ask you what you would like, you choose toast and eggs (you still with me?) I then hand you a plate of raw eggs, still in their shells, and cold bread. Why? Because to cook you some delicious eggs and make you warm, buttered toast both of those items have to go through a change, a transformation to become something that you would want. Does that make sense? Now if you are totally resistant to any form of change I guess you would end up sucking raw eggs out of the shell and eating cold bead, which to mean doesn’t sound like a fun thing to do (and having tried raw egg whites as a nutritious and delicious drink I can affirm that I think they are rather disgusting to be honest!)

Thus with this energy of change and things shifting floating around, when I went to do the reading today I wasn’t surprised to see that the Oracle of the Shapeshifters were eager to play. If you have never encountered these lovely guides before, these are the guides for change and transformation. “This deck is filled with mystic familiars for times of transformation and change. Fear corrupts and these guides are for anyone experiencing a transformation and who may be fearful of that change. Change is one way of staying very much alive – it’s necessary and healthy. But even when we have diminished ourselves, sought to remain invisible and hidden away, and said yes to everyone else, life will find us – and transform us.” (I love that line).

The crystals that wiggled and jiggled to come be active with you this week are:- Mookaite – the stone of here and now, very protective and is a stone of the lower chakras, Yellow Jasper – a great grounding stone, actives the Solar Plexus and is a wonderful healing stone for anxiety and depression and last but not least Sodalite – helps you get back in touch with your true self, promotes peace and tranquility. Oh yes, with the big wind on the weekend it blew down so many of my huge sunflowers, so a few of the little ones wanted to come and participate.

I’ve created a lovely visualisation for you, if you feel inclined, with all this heat, fire and smoke around I thought it would be nice to cool off a tad and go play by the water. Don’t fret, you don’t need to wear a bikini! If that is not what you’re into at the moment then just give yourself a little space to BE, to breathe, to relax into your body, your essence and your inner wise knowing. Breathe into all the spaces and offer an invitation of welcome to those areas, inviting them to come help you pick the right guidance. Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that whisper to you.

A TIME TO SAY GOOD-BYE

A time to say goodbye will help you to let go, even though it hurts a lot. This is now out of your hands; you have to say goodbye at this time. Be active in this ending when this card comes to you. Be brave; think about how you can best take care of yourself at this time, and show the other person how much you care. Don’t ignore or shun them. Rather, let this person know what they have meant to you, wish them well on the next stage of their life journey, and let….them…go! There may be great sadness id doing so, but you will grow so much because you have chosen the better way to deal with this sad situation. This other person has learned how to detach and stay detached. He asks that you do not ask for him to return, to stay, or to cling. Be strong because you need to be dignified, and believe that something better is coming. Because that is the truth. Something better is coming. So open your arms, and let him be free, as he has learned to be.

You may be reluctant to see an ending – you may wish to extend the time you have with someone, or you may even feel like you are being cheated out of something you deserve. But the truth is that things must die in order to be reborn in another form at a later time. This is the chosen time to go, and from the ashes, something new will arise, and it will be even better than you can imagine. Rebirth cannot take place without a death – and it is now time to end something, to let something both externally and internally die. It may be a long-held belief, a place that seemed to hold security, a friendship that has grown unhealthy, someone you’ve been going out with who no longer wishes to see you, or a beloved family member who may not be in this world much longer. Whatever it is, let it – let them – go! Something else will return to you. And you cannot be reborn unless you first know how to die. This is your chance to learn something very profound, deep, and important. Do not miss it by resisting what must take place.

ALICE IN A SEA OF TEARS

Alice is drowning, distraught, overwhelmed, in her own sea of tears. But help is on its way! She will find her way to shore. The rat, the keeper of her goods, will be with her. And the crab, who is of moonlight and is tender on the inside, will show her which way to head and help her strap on armour for the next stage of her journey, to protect her own soft heart. The rat will help her busy herself with creating her own hoard, and being prepared and productive instead of being overwhelmed by her feelings. Alice, in time, will know the truth. She will blame this sea of tears on no other. All will be well, and from this sea she will walk, as soon as she realises the source of her confusion is her own unbalanced emotions. Firstly, I am putting together something that would serve and offer you more great information and ways to move through the year on a day to day basis, and that will launch on the Equinox in September (you’re going to love it and I’m exceptionally excited!). Secondly, the intention that I set on Summer Solstice is all coming to fruition so there are lots of changes and things that need to be attended to so that it all flows with grace and ease. First Monday of August, the Energy has Shifted and another Eclipse on the Way!

Happy Magnificent, Magickal Marvelous First Monday of August! Here in BC it is a lovely Civic Holiday so a day when lots of people have been enjoying a delicious, lovely long hawt, hawt weekend. I personally spent yesterday going up and down a ladder 256 times in the day in 40C weather, (have to say my left arse cheek was exceptionally sore by the end of it all lol). Why? I spent yesterday putting up rafters and huge sheets of plywood on the roof of the large workshop/shed I’ve been building as I want it finished! (I get a tad myopic on projects some times).

So at the beginning of the month we always talk about the “energy” of the month, why? The energy of the month is what flows and weaves through each day, then layered on top of that or woven into it are the energies of the seasons, the celebrations, the eclipses and of course the New and Full Moon.

If you remember, July was all about “Mature Responsibility in Unpredictable Times”, June was about “Discipline and Follow Through”. Well August is all about “Creative Pragmatism” what does that mean?

As Lena shares – “August is a complex month supporting you to think outside the box. We have an opportunity for new creative insights, help from unexpected sources, and a new determination to step forward and show up with choices that are mature and practical. Your experience this month will be much more positive if you keep your eyes on your own goals, stay in your own lane, and don’t get distracted by the accidents and drama you may see around you on the side of the road. The questions to ask yourself over and over again this month are, “Is it creative enough, or is it the same old way of thinking?” “Is it practical and grounded?” “Am I staying in my own lane, or am I getting sucked into a drama that is not mine?” “Am I keeping good boundaries? So the questions she poses are fabulous questions to ask yourself!

Floating over this monthly energy is the upcoming Partial Solar Eclipse on Saturday August 11th, this is the 3rd one in a month! (How are you doing with it all?) Remember, that eclipse time is about bringing things to light and we have had a lot brought to light, however, with it being a solar eclipse this is more internal, this is deep and waiting to be brought out to the light. Please remember with 3 eclipses in a row “Ready or not, the winds of change are blowing. Eclipses bring the unexpected, forcing us into action. Repeat after me: Change can be a good thing.”

So a note here – for those who are part of our amazing community there will be an email coming out to you on Friday with great information on how to really harness and relax into this big energy shift (oh yes and stay relatively sane lol). Also, as so many of you have asked for readings with all this “stuff” swirling around and you want to gain more clarity and direction, I want to make this easy and accessible for everyone. Thus, as an offering and an appreciation, from 10th of August to the 24th of August I will be offering 20% off a personal reading, but you will hear about that on Friday. Yes?

Okay, so let’s crack on with the reading. I took the time to sit outside today to write and do the reading and it was gorgeous. The sun was shining, the plethora of sunflowers that the birds seeded, were all bobbing their glorious heads and tracking the sun. I had a huge crow and her two large babies come and land on my table and cock their heads and watch me for a few minutes and the humming birds and bees buzzed around frantically through the various flowers gathering the pollen. It was positively the most perfect place to be at that moment in time.

When I asked the cards and crystals who wanted to come out and shine brightly I laughed with delight when The Divine Circus Oracle sauntered her way out of the decks, strutting her stuff and giggling. Of course, in this eclipse energy and the Fire energy of Early Summer life becomes a Circus. If you have never encountered this gorgeous deck, please, let me introduce you. “This deck is for those who find it hard to follow rules, conform, bend to authority and generally do what they are told. May your rebel heart always be bold. May your spirit always be free. May you remember to live the Divine Circus and have fun doing things the way you aren’t supposed to, whilst living your most creative and unique divine destiny. “

Then it was fascinating to watch which crystals stepped up and for the first time EVER all three are Amethyst, all in different forms. Hmmm. Why? Amethyst is a wonderful crystal of protection, prosperity and for helping you manage your emotions so that you can take right action. Well that actually sounds perfect! There is also a glorious Selenite wand for amplification. Oh yes! And the flowers, there was a bit of a conversation going on between the flowers and the herbs, so they reached a compromise. Hummingbird flowers came to join along with lemon balm (which has been eaten, nom!)

I also crafted a fun guided visualisation based on sunflowers (which make me smile), if you feel so inclined, to help you really get rooted and reach for the sun. If that doesn’t resonate for you just breathe into your body, give everything a wiggle and slow your breath down and invite your trusted wise self to have a moment to surface and ask what it is you need to know.

JOKER IS WILD

The Universe has a sense of humour, but never at your expense. It is laughing with you, not t you. You’ll see this for yourself as the Joker weaves her magic in your life, bringing you the grace that is beyond all reason, the necessary ingredient to ensure you win with the hand you have been dealt by life. RED COUNTESS

Deep within, you know what is true and what to do (or not do). Yet there is so much noise and distraction in the world, and even at times in our own minds, that listening for our inner wisdom can seem like trying to hear gentle birdsong in the midst of a rock concert. Even so, you are hearing an inner truth, and deep down, you know it. Can you trust that it is safe to not only hear your inner voice but act on it too?

There is something that you know. You’ve felt, sensed, heard or realised this truth more than once. Even if others see or feel differently, you just know what you know, even if you don’t quite know how you know it!

Give your truths value. Hold your feelings and insights in high enough esteem to pay attention to them, to give yourself time to process what you think, feel and sense. Know that they’re worth acting on, even if that action just means to trust more and stop worrying. If you cannot figure out what your inner truths are, or you feel confused by conflicting thoughts and feelings, torn between head and heart, then you are in a state of information overload. You need to switch off, discharge some excess mental and emotional energy and take a break. Give yourself some time out from the crazy noise and constant distractions of the world so you can get in touch with what is true for you.

WHITE DUCHESS

Don’t look to what has been to find your destiny. Your future is bright and blessed. If the pain of the past feels a little too close for comfort, White Duchess steps in to help you leave behind the emotional storms of your past and move into her protection. Eclipses bring the unexpected, forcing us into action. Change can be a good thing.”

So I do feel compelled that I should clear something up. A while ago I had a reader email me asking “if I sifted through a deck, picked the cards I thought might work and then wrote to the cards, subbing in what needed to to make it all aligned.” Good question, however, to be honest I was appalled and gob smacked!

That would never even occur to me to do. So I shared with this lovely humanoid my process – I start writing the preface whilst surrounded by all of my decks and crystals and then decks and crystals make themselves known. I then smudge everything, get very grounded – open myself up to Spirit and become a conduit and the reading happens. The reason I share this story, is please don’t ever doubt yourself, your gifts or the messages (however they come to you). With this glorious sun energy, fire energy (remember that is about Passion) and all the rest of it. Step up, don’t doubt and shine gorgeous one. Shine. Kissing is Banned! Post Eclipse and New Moon. Weekly Reading July 16th.

Happy Magnificent, Magickal, Mellow, Magnetic, Miraculous, Mindful Monday!!!! Phew (You have to admit that wasn’t bad for alliteration!) How has your last week been delicious lovely? I did hear from a lot of you that you were getting a tad tweaked with the eclipse and New Moon energy and to be honest, if you are at all sensitive (which most of us are), then of course you are going to feel it. I did my first ever public Facebook Live to talk about this (and that was terrifying lol).

Remember that the New Moon sets the energy for the month, right? So the energy for this upcoming month is sensitive (as the New Moon was in Cancer), all about what makes you feel at home, nourishes and supports you and the invitation to step up into more of what you want. So this is where Intention comes into play, in a big way. Energy follows Intention, so set your intentions with clarity and let the energy follow them. Please don’t set an intention and then the minute you are done start second guessing it, as guess where the energy is going to go? You guessed it, after the second aspect. So my invitation to you is as we navigate this energy for the next couple of months (yes I did say that), and play with the Fire energy of this season – key thing is be kind and gentle with yourself and allow (note that word) the feelings to come up and just flow through you. Some days you are going to be so inspired and filled with vim and vigour that you want to go conquer the world, other days you may feel like you want to hide out in a dark closet with a large bottle of wine and a straw! Just let it flow and stay focused on your Intention, okay?

I will be honest, the energy for me over the last 6 days has been intense at times, and there have been brief moments when I would forget all the tools in my tool box and turn into a gibbering lunatic (figuratively, not literally) and at those moments it would take a herd of wild horses and multiple lassos to reign everything back in! Or to go for a big walk in the woods, or sit with my feet in the creek. Hasn’t helped a ton that the weather has been brutally hot as being a redhead I tend to wilt in supreme heat and get very crotchety! Thus for good chunk of the week, as I have been outside a lot, I have felt a bit like a reverse sundial. Instead of following the sun I have been moving in the opposite direction and following patch of shade to patch of shade lol. Which to be honest, has helped keep me a tad cooler which is awesome and allowed me to get done a good chunk of what I needed to outside and not bite anyone’s head off! As I was prepping for the reading I was doing a bit of research and did you know that Kissing was Banned in 1439? Me neither. Apparently it was banned in an attempt to stop the “Black Death” from spreading. Curious as to how it was enforced…….. I mean seriously, there are a couple of people kissing in their little stone floor kitchen? How would that be dealt with? Most odd.

Today when I went to do the reading I found a patch of shade in my garden surrounded by wildflowers, creeping thyme and roses. The sunflowers are slowly opening and I think when it is all said and done I will have about 50 – 60! (The birds really helped with that). Besides hanging out in the garden and sitting on the grass, watching the bees dip in and out of the flowers, the hummingbirds dash in with their frenetic wing beats and the butterflies nestle, brings me a sense of peace.

So with all that chuntering on, let’s crack on with the reading. It was no surprise to me that the Oracle of the Dragonfae were itching to come play. They are deliciously magickal beings that have always been there, we just forgot, and when we connect with them, we reconnect with the lost parts of ourselves, allowing us to fully explore the gift of life on this beautiful green and blue planet, known by some as Gaia, by others as Dana, and by many other names. The crystals that came out to play were interesting. We have Aragonite – which balances the energy field, works with all chakras, renewal, strength and healing. A glorious heart made of wood, and Stilbite – which expands consciousness, and helps organise the mind and release confusion as well as helping you take charge of life by committing to a direction. And of course Selenite to amplify and clear.

There is a glorious visualisation to help you get really grounded and open to the possibilities prior to picking a card, should you so choose. It involves a garden, but you won’t need garden gloves or tools. If not, then just take a few moments to come into your body, breathe, put the burdens of the day down and go within. Allow your inner wise self to rise up and whisper to you. When you are ready, give a great big smile and pick the card or cards that call to you. Enjoy.

LADY OF THE NEW BUDS

See how my garden has grown about me? See how my children, the darling buds, clamour for my attention? They cry at night and can be so touchy during the day! I must shelter them from harshness and keep them in a safe place, till they are strong enough to branch out….even then, my watchful eye will look out for their care.

You see, so many people see the beauty, and do not understand where it sprang from; the rich, loamy soil. The sweet water poured from the water-Dragonfae into this earth, the minerals of the natural realms, the light of the Sun and the shining sweetness of the crystal moon have all anointed my garden with their blessings. And then there is me. So many see my garden, and wonder at it, but they do not see the work and the care that has preceded my domain. Its beauty is a result of love, care, natural growth and attention to each and every one of its inhabitants.

When your growth appear around you, from the seeds you have planted, take time to tend this garden. Enlist the assistance of like-minded souls, and just as you would not feed these tender buds poisons and pollutants, do not feed your ideas the opinions and energies of those who are not in integrity. Stay true to the vision of your creation and truly take a little time each day to tend this garden, be it of love, ideas, little ones or creative endeavours, until they are robust and begin to grown into their own energy. For now, it is the tender time, the time when the buds are at most risk from the frost of rejection, the poison of judgement, and the choke of cruelty. Be vigilant, and you too will have a garden for all to enjoy and love.

Many will feel you’re fortunate indeed to have created such a beautiful Eden, but they will not see the care you have taken to grow this. But I have seen. I have seen it all.

THE LISTENER

How much have you missed because I could not have the space, the wild quiet, the blessed peace in which to whisper my secret straight to your soul? How much more could you be aware of if you simply took the time to be still and silent? The whole world can be heard in a moment….and now it is your time to be still, and to be silent. Listen and truly understand what it is you are hearing. Listen with your being, your entire being, not just your ears. Allow your senses to be the soul’s messengers. Sometimes we need to be quiet and listen. But first of all we need to be quiet. So many people talk so much of the time. And the talking and the talking and the filling up of space simply drowns out the messages.

The dragonfae do not decry conversation and robust dialogue, the joyous clash of friends talking with each other, or the singing out of voices….especially when raised in joy, celebration, song and good cheer! But this card speaks of a time when it would be right for you to be still, and to listen, as the world whispers her secrets to you. We do not want to be making so much noise that we drown out our own signs and messages. So be still. Be silent. And be ready for the messages to come in sweet, subtle and magickal ways.

It’s time to remove yourself from the hustle and the bustle, from built-up urban and industrial areas, and go deep into nature and find the still pace of solitude in which the soul can speak – and be heard! Turn down the stress, the demands, the social whirl, the noise that can drown out meaning. In the words of Shakespeare, chatter is often “a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” You would do well to seek the counsel of spirit in nature, to rest in a quiet grove within. Furthermore, when the soul speaks, listen, come into alignment and act from that space of integrity. The Listener does not feel the need to tell all about what she has heard. In fact, she is content to simply act, without broadcasting her moves, and to allow her dreams into being, to follow the guidance of her message without exhausting the energy of the message by talking it out.

She is silent and she seems still. But all of her actions are powerful and purposeful because they are born from a pure, still place of energy. Hers is the quiet glade and sudden, glad truth of the soul, and in these truths are great wisdom and delight.

Beyond the mask we all wear of identity, beyond the construct of who we have been conditioned to believe we are lies your face, your self. This face is tender and new in so many ways, as you have not shown her to the world before. This face has been protected because the world has seemed and proved indeed at times to be a dangerous and unkind place, where those of us who feel different are proved to be so as we brave the taunts and finger pointing. But I now tell you that your protections, your armour and your shield can be removed safely with me. Do not discard her, as you may need her yet in certain situations. But know now she is your armour and her role is to protect your true being.

To you, I now reveal myself. See? Many have recoiled in horror at who I truly am. I m a Dragonfae Maiden, a spider Woman, a being of webs and change and destruction, and re-creation. Each day I must remake my world….I feel along its sensory threads to see what needs reconstruction and what needs to be let go of. For I am, as you are, part of the new web of life – a web of life that embraces our differences and yet understands that we are one.

I ask you today to look at the webs in your life that must be remade and rewoven….. Remove your mask that says “I am this,” and know you are that, but also so much much more.

Wow! Nurturing, Being Quiet to hear the messages and Removing the Mask. Love it! And it’s sooooo apt for this energy at this time. Thus my delicious lovely, I wish for you a glorious week of cooling moments, also moments of stillness and quiet where you can hear your soul whisper to you. Partial Solar Eclipse in Cancer! Which raises the question – What does Home mean to you?

Hello, hello my delicious lovely! Happy Marvelous, Magnificent, Manifesting, ‘Mazing Monday! (Yes, ‘mazing is a word or at least it is now.) How the heck are you? How are you finding working with this gorgeous Fire and Passion season? Remember, if you find yourself getting too hot, overwhelmed and frustrated then take a little time to cool off both literally, figuratively, mentally and energetically. There are some super easy pranayama’s that help cool the mind, the body and the energy. A super simple one is to curl your tongue like a straw, let it stick out of your mouth breathe in slowly through your tongue straw, close your mouth, hold and exhale through your nose. Very cooling. Here the last week was rainy and cooler, I had gone and bought a ton of wood to build a shed and ended up tarping the back of the yard to keep the wood dry. Within about 3 days it was baking hot and I still haven’t taken the tarp down as it now provides shade whilst I build! Even the dogs are hiding out there or in the house, or under the deck! So make sure if you feel heated you back off and cool it down a tad.

I had a very cool experience this last week and wow, if you doubt that the Universe is paying attention – let me write a reference for the Divine, she is listening very clearly and avidly. What I have noticed in the last few years of magnificent manifestation is clarity is key! Phrase it clearly, put emotion behind it, forget the “how’s” or how it should look and trust. An example. 2.5 years ago I put something out there, very loosy goosy and rather vapid, last August I put it out there again with a bit more umph but my ego was most certainly getting in the way. On Solstice by the ocean I put it out there again with clarity, confidence and certainty. Wow! 14 days later the Universe rolled out a series of events that were literally like a bulldozer clearing the path for me and saying – You asked, we listened, are you bold enough? Hells to the Yes!!!! (Though terrified as well!) So exciting adventures will be ensuing!

As I mentioned last week, we are heading into Eclipse season, and our first one is a solar eclipse on Thursday July 12th. This delicious Eclipse happens in the soft and tender sign of Cancer at the New Moon. Now Cancer is the sign of “home”, that doesn’t necessarily mean a structure, it’s that feeling of where we belong, who our tribe is, who is our community, our work, do you feel at home in your body. Yes? Now if you remember I mentioned last week that Eclipse’s bring all sorts of beautiful things to light, those feelings that have been hidden or stuffed, the dreams/aspirations that you’ve tucked into a box as “they don’t feel practical”. If you have been feeling a bit out of sorts, nostalgic, a tad fragile emotionally, reflective or confused then you are feeling the energy of the eclipse.

So when I asked the cards who wanted to work with us all, guide, support, inspire and help us with this very transformative energy the Divine Circus Oracle literally jumped so high that it was like a hand to the forehead! This is a gorgeous deck for the bold, the ones that find it hard to follow the rules “What is life if not a Divine Circus? Life might seem ordinary at times, yet when we look more closely, it is bursting with creative diversity, constantly evolving, pulling rugs out from underneath our feet and opening doors we couldn’t even see were right there before us a moment earlier. “

Funnily enough before the crystals, the first things that insisted on coming to participate where the glorious Hansa roses (if you have never smelled one you need to find one!), and mint. Why mint? Mint is a glorious cleanser and abundance attractor, pop a leaf or two in your wallet or purse and see what happens….

The crystals that came to play are Rose Quartz – to remind us to not stuff the feelings, numb or avoid, but to feel and know your heart is strong. Indigo Gabbro – helps unearth deep rooted issues in your psyche, it knows and gets you, it sees your weaknesses and totally understands your strengths, and strips away the false facades you have built up around you. Smoky Quartz – is amazing for balancing and grounding as well as helping you to vibrate at your fullest potential as it releases negative emotions. Wow! The perfect cards and crystals for the first eclipse.

Thus, I invite you to just take a few moments for yourself, to nourish yourself, get clear and to breathe. Breathe into your belly, into all the corners and down deep into your toes. Let’s practice the nice cooling breathe of breathing in through your curled tongue or pursed mouth long and slow and holding for two and then breathing it out through your nose. As you breathe, feel your jaw relax, your scalp relax and your shoulders drop. There is nothing that you need to do right at this minute, this time is for you.

Then when you feel ready pick the card or cards that resonate or whisper to you.

DEATH SHALL NOT TAKE HIM

You are going to witness the impossible made possible. Whatever you think is lost, is not. Whatever you think cannot be, shall be. The universe is going to intervene and what seems to be over, shall in a new way, live again.

Sometimes, just when you think it’s all over, the eleventh hour comes. You can practically hear the opening chords of your swan song, and when you have finally given up, suddenly, somehow, right before your eyes, everything changes – just like that. You were free-falling and then, suddenly, you are soaring. Fate steps in, destinies are altered and life demonstrates its creative, restorative power, even if all seemed lost.

No matter how defeated you feel, no matter how many dead ends you’ve encountered, how many setbacks, how many failures, no matter how impossible success may seem, the universe has your back and is going to right things in your favour. You will succeed. So if you really must (sigh) doubt for one more moment – go ahead, then replace doubt with trust and participate in the divine defiance of life refusing to be stepped on or crushed. Why not just frigging relax and bear witness to the universe’s impressive display of life-giving power with reverence and delight? Gorgeous one – get out of your own way!

DUKE OF SHADOWS

Cunningly clever am I, helping you discern the truth from the lie. I remind you that half truths may seem to be whole, yet in the shadows is information yet to be known. When the time is right, the light shall be bright, and confusion will give way to understanding.

You are being invited to be patient. This is a cautionary card, not to inspire concern, but rather to inspire curiosity. There is more to a situation, person, opportunity, or even an apparent absence of activity or success, than meets the eye. You could imagine it being like the universe has another card up its sleeve and is yet to show its full hand. A process has been set in motion but is “under the radar” of your awareness. Something is happening, even if that doesn’t appear to be the case. But just like a seed starts to grow into a plant, deep in the earth, apparently invisible and yet very real, you are being subjected to invisible but real forces of growth and healing at this time.

Because you cannot know what you don’t know, you will need to wait for more information to come to you. So if what you see, sense or feel is negative right now, don’t believe it! Things are going to shift and change and there will be a surprising twist in your life. Though you don’t see it coming, another piece of your life puzzle is going to reveal itself soon. It will help solve a difficulty or question you have been holding in your heart.

Secondly, remember to be gentle with yourself this week, try to find little pockets of time where you can explore what you’re feeling and as New Moon approaches play with getting some clarity on an issue, or situation that you would like to see manifest. Oh yes, remember, if you find yourself getting over heated whether due to hot weather, or energetically, practice the cooling breath, drink water and find a nice spot in the shade where you can put your feet in the grass! Canada Day, Independence Day and Eclipse Season!

Hello, hello, hello gorgeous one! It feels like yonks since we last connected, but it is only just shy of two weeks. How have you been? Did you take some time to celebrate the Summer Solstice? I most certainly did! It was actually one of the best Summer Solstice celebrations I have ever had. Myself and my kids went to Vancouver island to meet up with my sister/hubbie from the UK and my nieces, my son, the mothership, and a myriad of other relatives. We played, explored and laughed so much that week and I made sure that daily I went to the ocean, which was like balm to my soul.

On Solstice we all went to the beach where the wind was strong, the waves were gorgeously tremendous and we created ritual, sent little boats out to sea with our intentions and desires, lit a fire and had an aaammmmmaaaazzzing time. It was stupendous! What I found interesting was I had thought the ocean would be kind of calm and we could set our little intention boats out to sea with a candle and off they would go, lol, mother nature had a different plan. The waves were huge so you had to toss your boat out (like a baseball pitcher). Some she threw back onto the shore in short order and that person changed their intention and voila, off the boat chugged! So it comes to my turn and I whisper to my lovely little boat my desire and intention and tossed her out into the ocean, she was certainly accepted and the funny thing was, so were two other things. I wear 7 amazing crystal bracelets on my right wrist, one for each chakra and when I tossed my boat in off flew the heart chakra and throat chakra bracelet – gone, swallowed by the waves. Urrrr, hmmm, that was interesting and then within about a minute my throat chakra one was tossed back, but not the heart one and holy hannah did that boat chug out to sea!

Coming home was sweet and sour, it was great to be home and back with the dogs, but it was heart wrenching to leave parts of my family and the ocean, that one is so primal for me and courses through my veins. But hey, for the moment I have lots of glorious memories.

Yesterday was Canada Day (here in Canada, go figure) and soon it will be July 4th in the States, so lots of reasons to celebrate, set off fireworks and connect with people and share food (all good things). Also, with the whooshing in of July we see the energy change again and when I first encountered it I felt a huge “Gulp” burble up. If you remember, the energy for May was Re-Aligning Values, June was Discipline and Follow Through, well July is all about Mature Responsibility in Unpredictable Times. As Lena from The Power Path says “It is time. It is time to take a hard look at where we give our power away, blame others, procrastinate what we know needs to be done, avoid responsibility and hope it will all just go away or that someone will do it for us. It is time to take responsibility for our health and well-being, emotional maturity and what we create. It is time to start believing in our own power to change what we can and to adapt to what we can’t. It is also time to face our own addiction to suffering, our insecurities and flawed belief systems that hold us back, and to do something permanent about them as much as we can. It is an explosive time with an aggressive attitude full of triggers that can either be used for tremendous growth, movement, initiation and progress, or it can spiral down into something nasty.” To read more you can find it here.

On top of that energy we are heading into eclipse season. Normally, we have two that encompass two weeks, this time we have three, two solar eclipses and one lunar which encompass a month, so the energy is ripe with coming face to face with all sorts of stuff, as well as creating massive change. Solar eclipses are about external change and lunar are about inward, so I personally am going to buy a pair of big girl panties and have them ready! I’ve also gone and picked up some Labradorite and some Indigo Gabbro (aka Mystical Merlinite), to have for these eclipses, but more on that next week.

When I asked the cards who wanted to come support and guide this week, it was no surprise that the Isis Oracle deck jumped up and down. With all the solar energy that has been buzzing around, she is the perfect deck for this time. I love how part of the introduction says “You are a powerful Soul and you are awakening. Your thoughts, feelings and inner world is changing, and so too is your outer world. You are an Initiate of the Light.” Yum!! What was also lovely to see was that some of the little shells I gathered whilst at the ocean wanted to come play and bring their delicious energy of sea, tides and fluidity to this reading. So in between rain showers I decided to get my toes in the grass and do the reading there.

So with all that being said, I invite you to take a pause, a moment for yourself. Gently start slowing down your breathing and allow your thoughts to just flow across your mind like gorgeous clouds. Breathe in through your nose and sigh the air out through your open mouth. Keep breathing this way and then when you are ready, ask your wise inner knowing to come forth and pick the card or cards that are best suited for you and the path that you are to walk this week.

Sometimes affirming in thought and speech, “I choose to see the Divine within this person, place or situation” is another way to cut through drama and use the power of word in though and spoken expression, to create powerful healing. Also discern the effect upon you of the company you are keeping energetically and physically. Sometimes the thoughts and words of others – their vibration – can enhance you or leave you feeling depleted or drained. Remember you can use words of power to cleanse any cords or contracts that would lower your vibration into a fearful place, in order to come back to love, to help you stay true to yourself and perhaps even inspire others to think or speak more positively when they are around you.

INITIATION

When you are being spiritually initiated into the mysteries of light, love and power, there are moments of deep challenge. The key is to find the light within the challenge – the learning, growth or wisdom that can be summoned to turn the challenge into an opportunity for healing. Initiation will occur at various stages. Sometimes your entire life will feel like an initiation, at other times specific areas will be flowing easily whilst others re deeply challenging. Please know you are not needlessly suffering. If you can find the light within the struggles, tests or challenges that face you now, you will experience breakthrough healing.

As an Initiate, honour life as a gift and treat any challenge or pressure as a way for you to grow into a brighter and purer light capable of great spiritual service on this planet. That spiritual service includes growing an ability to be able to love freely and beyond limits, to love with courage and faith.

In fact initiation for you now, dear one, is an opening to new levels of power and peace, self-possession and love. There are such sweet fruits waiting for you at the top of the tree you are currently climbing. It may seem as though you are in barren land at times with little hope, nourishment or encouragement, yet your spiritual oasis is not far away! The Lady Isis and the Power of Ra together are helping you grow. Stay focused on the Lady and Her love for you and you shall pass through the desert of the Initiation unharmed and deeply transformed.

HEALING THE DIVINE MASCULINE

The Divine Masculine within men and women is the energy that allows for protection, discernment, healing and a sense of deep safety and holding, even through the most uncomfortable circumstances of life. When the masculine within us is healthy and strong, we have an inner strength to hold ourselves safe through anything. Your Inner Masculine is going through healing right now, growing stronger in His ability to offer you inner protection and stability so that your Inner Feminine can blossom with creative expression.

The Inner Masculine and Inner Feminine need each other. When they are in a good inner relationship with us, we feel like healthy, whole human beings. We are able to live as ourselves in the world in a relatively peaceful, creative and enjoyable way. When there is damage to the Inner Masculine, there is difficulty in standing up for our truths, in knowing what our truths and values are, and in knowing how to protect them without feeling as though we have to fight constantly just to be allowed to be ourselves. We might also feel that unless others see things as we do, we have no power, and then have to fight to dominate others, manipulating them to our point of view.

The Inner Masculine part of us often needs healing so that He can fulfil his Divine Purpose of inner strength, protection and honouring of the Self in all its uniqueness, so that we can live as free, strong individuals that know who they are and are happy to just love and be that person – and allow others to do the same.

Use your inner feminine courage, trust and determination to avoid castrating the Masculine by considering it weak, useless, or unnecessary. For healing to happen for both Masculine and Feminine, we must be prepared to let go of feelings of victimisation, domination, disappointment and dissatisfaction and do the same times challenging inner work of learning to relate to masculine and feminine energy with a completely different approach!

Wow! These are perfect cards as we move into this energy of Mature Responsibility in Unpredictable Times! Thus, if you feel inclined this week, think of something that you have been putting off, procrastinating on if you will, and take some action to either complete it or release it. (Yes you are allowed to do that). Often it is the “things” and “projects” that we put off for whatever reason that use up most of our energy. So ask yourself if you still want to complete whatever it is, and if you still need to and if you don’t – decommit to it. This brings such a whoosh of release and energy back to you it’s quite delicious.
