If Not Now, When? If Not You, Who? New Year and New Decade – are you Willing to Show Up and Shine?

Whoot! Happy New Year and Happy Monday. Do you realise this is the first Magickal, Marvelous, Magnificent Monday of the New Decade and the New Year!! And trust me there is so much to natter about and share this week! So grab a tea and get ready………

But first, how was your holiday season? Tell me you laughed lots, didn’t take on too much and that your credit card feels healthy, yes? Personally, I had a very different but amazing holiday season. On Xmas Eve I went and prepped a shed ton of veggies (and I’m talking in the 100’s of lbs level), then Xmas Day I was so honoured to set up and serve people who are experiencing challenges. It was amazing, the conversations, the laughter, the stories – I was so blown away and it made me feel humble. Especially when one chappie in his 40’s shared with me that the smells and taste of the food reminded him of his grandmothers home and that the dinner had made him feel that he had community and family.

Thus, we did our family Xmas on Boxing Day and it was fun and relaxed, play time in the morning, a little break, gorgeous dinner with friends and family and a ridonculous game! So good. I had gifted myself with time to just BE and reflect, rejuvenate, refresh from Boxing Day until today – but it was fascinating to see that as I resisted that quiet time on the very first day! The Universe very kindly handed me a corker of a cold, and the weather turned into torrential rain and wind storms! But all good. So many gifts in being quiet and really just Being. So much so that on New Years Eve I turned down a wonderful gathering to have a date with myself. I bought flowers, the food I wanted to eat, the beverages I wanted to drink, cleaned the house, lit the fire and wow! Then wrote, and had massive downloads, which have tied into something I have been creating for a year. Very cool.

So here we are in the first week of 2020 and what is in play? Well we have a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn on the 10th, which is all about nurturing yourself and others and finding that balance. Now if you aren’t aware Capricorn and Saturn are huge players this year. Capricorn is all about ambition, work, climbing higher, doing what you say you will. Saturn is known as The Lord of Karma – so expect karmic awakening. Then we have Uranus going direct right before the eclipse and Uranus is all about freedom, waking you up. Sounds great doesn’t it, but what does it all mean?

I would never say that I’m an Astrologer, I have a good understanding, but I certainly don’t understand it all. But as Kari shares this year is all about Building Your Dreams Step by Step from the ground up, with an appreciation that sometimes we have to tear down a structure to rebuild. If you want to know more, I highly recommend Kari Samuels forecast and gosh she makes me smile everytime as she is so cheerful and knowledgeable.

Then if we look at the Shamanic energy from Lena, the energy of the month is, IF NOT NOW, WHEN?

“There is a ruthless quality to the month as we set ourselves up for the coming times requiring good boundaries, the courage to face the truth, and the discipline to DO IT NOW. If not now, when? Time is up for diddling around with “sort of” intentions and action plans.”

So let me ask, did you make New Year’s Resolutions? What were they? I will be honest, I gave up that practice about 14 years ago for many reasons and I work with WOTY (Word of the Year). My word for this year is “EXPANSIVE”, and even as I say it, my chest opens, my arms move back and my heart shines! If this is a new concept for you, let me help you with why Word of the Year works!

Gone is the time of dithering or sitting on your thumb. Now is the time to step up and shine with what is true for you, and comes from your heart.

Without getting on a political soapbox all we have to do is look around as to what is happening in the first week of the New Decade and Year. The Iran issue, the fires in Australia – so much challenge! This is not the time to dither or question if you have the skills, enough training, what will people think or any of that. This is the time to get super clear with yourself embrace all your gifts both dark and light and LEAP into sharing them. There is a part of you that knows, your essence, your light, your soul; it knows why you are here and the gifts that make you who you are.

As we enter into this New Decade with the calls inviting us to play a bigger game, I knew there was a deck that I was meant to take home. So I looked online, I talked to people and – nope, nadda resonated. Thus, the other week in the torrential rain (when most people would stay home, especially those who are coughing and sneezing everywhere), I found myself in Fantan Alley. Tucked down this virtually shoulder width brick alley is a little store that called me. I walked in and asked what cards they carried. I looked at them all and again – nope, nadda. As I started to walk away a deck dropped at my feet. I normally spend huge time exploring a deck before I am willing to bring it home, this time was a heck yes immediately.

As I went to pay for my deck, the woman looked a tad puzzled and advised me the deck had only come in that morning and there was only this one copy. Purrrrrrrfffffeeeccctttt! Gotta love how Spirit works. Then when I brought them home and opened them up to cleanse, bless and consecrate them I laughed so hard. A wolf! The back of the cards was a wolf and my gorgeous sister Fi loved wolves. In fact for one of her birthdays she went to a wolf sanctuary and learned all about them. And could howl like a glorious wolf with ease.

We live in an age of heightened environmental, emotional and spiritual pollution. During such a world age, it takes more work to experience clarity, purity and originality. This frequency focuses on clearing, freeing the hold of negativity and allowing the natural way – of bright, beautiful manifestation – to unfold.

There can be a dramatic healing breakthrough when you rely upon your spiritual connection.

Spiritual teachings from Bhutan hold that the great Indian master Padmasambhava was called to Bhutan from Tibet to subdue demons that were causing difficulties for the people of the Paro Valley. He flew from Tibet to Bhutan on the back of a supernatural tigress. The supernatural tigress is Yeshe Tsogyal, a yogini guardian for humanity and an emanation of the compassionate goddess of peace, prosperity and long life known as White Tara.

Yeshe Tsogyal’s power is that of the tiger siddha or medicine of spirit tiger. She calls for a boldness of spirit and willingness to engage your challenges which will create the path to inevitable success. She represents our ability to generate the spiritual power necessary to accomplish what needs to manifest for the greatest good.

Thanksgiving, New moon in Sagittarius, Ritual and a Blessing!

Happy Magickal, Marvellous, Magnificent, Merry, Mad Monday delicious lovely! Mercury Retrograde is done, whoot! (I am seriously doing a happy dance as this time round it really handed my arse to me and brought up lots of sticky things for me to work through!) Huzzah!

Okay, we have lots to talk about this week and a new ritual to learn, so make a cuppa come snuggle up and let’s natter!

To all my amazing American friends, Thanksgiving is coming up this week and I hope you take time to just BE, Play, be Thankful and Feel. For some people family holiday celebrations can trigger all sorts of stuff, some great and some rather challenging. So do remember to breathe, set the intention (we talk about that in the ritual section) of enjoying yourself even if Uncle Tom is being a twat! Okay, I do have to ask what’s with the Black Friday Sale thing? I appreciate a good deal, but I once went to a Nordstrom on Black Friday and it was insane! People were pushing, shoving, being rude all for $100 off of an item they wanted. In fact I had a little old lady elbow me in the ribs as she shoved past me as she obviously thought I was going for the perfume or whatever it was that she wanted! Totally terrified me and have never gone to a Black Friday sale in person again. With that being said I do wish you all a marvelous Thanksgiving filled with family, gorgeous food, connection, joy and big laughter and remember Gratitude!

We have a glorious New Moon on Tuesday and I will say I love New Moon time as it allows us to plant the seeds of intention, desire and focus. Also, remember the New Moon sets the energy for the month, yes? This New Moon is in Sagittarius and brings opportunities to start over, to reach further, and to rework areas of our lives that have grown stale or become unwelcome.

As Forever Conscious shares: “Since the powerful and heavy October 27th New Moon last month, we have all been working hard to release and work through our fears. With Mercury in retrograde, things from our past may have also paid us a visit or we may have had to confront something that challenged and pushed us. Since this time, we have all been guided to reach deep and to rise into a new strength and a new power.

Take a moment to identify what this has been for you. Take a moment to honor your lunar journey and think about all you have achieved and all you have accomplished. Whatever has come you have made it through, whatever has been is now in the past, and as we welcome the dark Sagittarius Moon, it is time for us to turn our attention to the next chapter.

The sign of Sagittarius is ruled by the Centaur aiming its arrow into the sky. The Centaur is half-horse, half-man and is a natural healer. It holds a wisdom that it has inherited across many lifetimes and across many realms of the galaxy. This wisdom allows it to aim its arrow in the direction that always supports its highest growth.

Under the Sagittarius New Moon, we can all tap into this energy with ease. We can all tap into the intuitive wisdom that lives within and know the right way to direct our arrow. The Sagittarius New Moon is also abundant and has the power to bring new opportunities or new information to the surface… if we pause, and tune into our own innate wisdom, we will always know which direction to aim our arrow.

While we may not have any control over where exactly our arrow will land, we do get to choose the direction we wish to send it in, and that choice is a power that we will all get to exercise as we begin this New Moon cycle. There are no wrong choices in this life, only lessons and only growth. And, just like the Moon, we too get the chance to begin again, to rise again, and to be reborn again.

There is a healing quality to this November New Moon that will also be our guide. This healing quality asks that we accept ourselves, love ourselves, but more importantly, forgive ourselves. We must forgive ourselves for all we have done or not done. We must forgive ourselves for our perceived failures, forgive ourselves for our thoughts, our feelings, and our actions. You are worthy of this forgiveness and giving it to yourself, especially under this New Moon, can free you for the new opportunities that will follow.

It is never too late to change directions; it is never too late to try again. It is never too late to do things differently and to see where it may take you.

Enjoy the November New Moon for all that it offers and all that it brings, for it is actually the last New Moon of the year. So this is the perfect time to make your New Moon wishes, or I invite you to work with a different, more visual process for this lunar month. Have you ever worked with a Moon Bowl? The other week a few people talked to me about Ritual and what I found interesting was their thought that it was highly complex, time consuming and that you needed multiple “special” tools for it. Hmmmm, I don’t agree with that. Sure you can make it that way if you would like, and there are certainly times that you really want to make it super duper special, but for the day to day it doesn’t have to be that way. So let me share with you how I view and interpret the word “Ritual” and what it means to me.

To me a ritual is intention made manifest, it’s that place of connection with the Divine, Universe, God/Goddess or however you chose to name it. In other words, a ritual takes an idea, thought or emotion and gives it a physical form in the world. So for example when I invite or suggest that perhaps at certain times there are things that you might want to write down, release and burn – guess what? That’s a ritual. When you offer a Blessing or a Prayer before eating a meal – that’s a ritual. When you sit down at New Moon and write your wishes/intentions out, guess what? That’s a ritual. All it took was a brief moment of time, paper, pen and something to light a candle or the paper with. When you gather stones for your Moon Bowl. That’s a ritual.

To me ritual allows your body, your cells, you essence to understand your intention. Does that make sense? So what makes a mundane activity into a ritual is your consciousness while doing it. If you are smudging yourself or home, what is your intention? If you are having a salt water scrub shower or bath, what is your intention? When you light a candle every day when you walk in the door, what is your intention? Remember energy follows intention and attention follows energy and actions follow attention. Thus, a ritual can be a celebration such as the upcoming Thanksgiving in the States or it can be a practice which can be repeated daily, monthly or yearly. When ritual becomes a practice this allows us to go deeper, to explore all the various nuances and of course as we all know – repetition leads to mastery (think of that daily meditation, exercise, journaling etc). I guess I am saying is ritual is easy. Set the intention, let the energy follow it, then the attention, but the key piece is action!

Try it this Thanksgiving (if you are in the States). When you are sitting down to dinner offer up a Blessing, a Prayer, some words. I found a lovely one from Danielle LaPorte that you might like. It’s called Light and Resilience – a holiday or anytime prayer.

Okay, enough chuntering on. When I went to the cards and asked who wanted to guide, support and teach this week I grinned like a maniac! This is the second showing of the gorgeous Blessed Be cards. How positively perfect! Now if these cards are new to you (which they probably are), please let me introduce them (as it’s rather rude not to!) “May these cards and guides offer you ways to enter into deeper appreciation of your life and its manifold blessings. May you have hope, understanding and kindness. And most of all, may you know deep within your soul, that thou art blessed.”

The crystals that wiggled and jiggled to come and empower you are Amethyst – is a wonderful crystal of protection, prosperity and for helping you manage your emotions so that you can take right action. Morganite – cleanses the emotional body of stress and anxiety, old wounds and hidden traumas, and enkindles lightness within the spirit, as if a burden has been lifted and released. Snowflake Black Obsidian – helps to draw emotions to the surface and to examine harmful thought patterns. A good choice for past life work, heals old karmic patterns and helps in examining harmful thought patterns. Some delicious red carnations wanted to add a shock of colour! So there we are!

I do have a super easy and fun little visualisation for you if you want. This will really help you tap into the energy of gratitude, thankfulness and ritual. If that doesn’t resonate for you then just gift yourself with a few moments to breathe long and deep. In through your nose and out through your mouth.

A BLESSING FOR SOLACE AND HOPE

This is a blessing for solace, the comfort that comes in the form of good fortune, strange little moments that bring you back to the sense that the Universe is a place where you are cared for, considered and important, and that this solace bring you hope for the future, and anticipation of the fair things that life will continue to bring you.

Solace is the balm and the antidote to the wounds that life can deliver. It is not personal, for being here is a great gift, and we live in times where, in many ways, we are safer than we have ever been before. But we are fed a diet of hopelessness from our cultures and media sources, until we become overwhelmed with the troubles that seem to surround us. This blessing is for you to find your way back to sweetness. For the flower in bud to release its sweetness, for you to notice the shimmer of light upon water, the sheer pleasure of movement, the ease of a mind no longer racing over problems to be solved, but soft, intelligent, allowing the calm of life to steal back in to your soul.

This is the solace that keeps our hopes alive, the gift of good fortune that reawakens the candle of optimism that is within us, and the delight in the sheer whimsy of being here, and being alive. It is the understanding that there may be little control, but we are no mere pawns in this life – we have our place in the world, and simply with our breathing in and out, we matter, and we are doing enough.

To find solace is to find peaceful moments, small connections, to notice the thousand gifts life has conferred upon us, and it is to again invoke the divinity of existence, without the fear of the future. Let hope give you lightness, draw away the pain, and open you up again to the possibilities, until you begin once again to relish the simple voluptuous truth of being alive.

A BLESSING ON YOUR INTUITION

A blessing to create a trusting relationship with your own inner guidance.

In this world, many will seek to guide you. They will hold a torch aloft and show you a road that they promise you has a destination that is heavenly, or healing, or a home for the spirit in which you be loved, in which you will finally belong. May this blessing light the torch of your own inner guide, who alone knows the truth of your soul.

May you begin to sense out what is best for you – without pride, or vain public deliberating, may you just simply connect with a light within, and from that light shine out and with that light – the glowing radiance of your own intuition, the guide of your own spirit – may the road you take be softly illuminated. May you trust when it takes place, but not force it on another. May your own intuition grow in its light, until it glows bright when needed, and softens when you feel ready to walk steadily into the direction of your own soul. May you trust that you are becoming who you were born to be, and never whom another would make you. May this intuition not be shaken by mistakes, or misinterpretations, but may you open up the senses you were so gifted with by the Spirit that guides us all, and may your own inner wisdom that will be expressed through that innate gift of intuition be given room to blossom.

May you be taught well, but not attach to teachers of the intuitive gifts. May you be guided, but never against your own intuitive will. And may you come to understand that the price of walking this way of truth to the self may sometimes be high, but never as high as the giving up of will and spirit and guidance to others. Let yourself be open to the messages from within, first, and then, allow the world to speak to you, through the filter of your most pure intuitive gift.

A BLESSING FOR GOOD MEN AND FATHERS

A blessing for the men, the good men, who do the essential work for themselves, for each other, for their families, for their communities.

We need good men, loving fathers, fully flowered in their masculinity. May you be blessed with the healing of any wounds you hold and hide within. May you allow yourself to be vulnerable and tender in the care of the young. May you be blessed with the strength of your own untainted power, and open up to the great abilities that lie within you, beneath the muscle and sinew and grit and stoic face you show the world.

May you be blessed, and be open-hearted in love, intelligent in your alliances, honourable in your agreements, and courageous when you must stand and resist the challenges that may come to you. May you receive the blessings of opening yourself to your own immense internal beauties, refusing to identify only with the shadow, which swallows so many good men.

Instead, when you meet the darkness within, let it be understood, acknowledged and honoured, healed and transformed, and thus may you turn away from stereotypes and become your true self. May all men be blessed as they do this sacred work. To every man, may you be a brother, and with every honourable act of care and compassion and protection and nurture, may you be most blessed. For you are precious to us all, and you father us all. It is not through the bonds of biology, but through the strands of connection, for all men are our brothers. May you show the next men how to father themselves, and thus continue the evolution of our humanity.

To the good men and the good fathers, for showing the many possibilities of how a man can be good, in a very deep, real way, offering us all a well of wisdom from which to drink, a fire of protection and love by which to warm oneself, and the endless love of the sea in which we are reborn, may your gifts to the world return to you threefold.

Hello delicious lovely, happy Magnificent, Marvelous, Magical, Mighty, Manifesting, Majestic, Mindful, Mesmerising Monday! (Have to love the letter M lol). Did you know that in Egyptian writing, its ideogram is derived from the character for water, which explains why it’s so gracefully written. In terms of Roman numerals, it represents the number 1000? I really quite like the idea of the Egyptian ideogram and the letter “M”.

November seems to be whizzing by and I don’t know about you, but for me this last week has been an interesting weave of ups and downs what with this delicious Mercury Retrograde (which ends soon!), Remembrance Day and birthday’s galore! The weather has emulated my state of being as the sun will be shining one minute and then torrential rain the next, but as I wipe the rain off that’s pouring down my face I always remember to look up and see if there is a rainbow. And there have been!

I have been working with a great book called “Writing Your Soul Down” and it totally feeds in to how my body is responding to the change in Seasons. When sunset happens at 4:30pm it’s like an internal reminder to light the hearth candle, light the fire and then curl up with the doggos and write from my heart, write from my soul. Which has made for some very interesting conversations on paper! This can also be exceptionally challenging as the Season is calling us to take the time to go inwards, to hibernate, to tend our roots and be more introspective and reflective. Yet on a societal level we are heading into the season of parties, sparkly lights and being more extroverted. So how do you find your balance? For me I have made certain practices non-negotiable and they are literally scheduled into my phone in case I get distracted or practice procrastination. Remember, the Shamanic energy this month is of Proactive Change and the things that get in the way of that are procrastination and apathy. So what are you procrastinating on that would really nourish you.

With that thought burbling in your mind let’s go see who wants to guide you this week.

The cards that wiggled and giggled to come support this week are The Divine Circus Oracle, which made me laugh with Mercury Retrograde in play! Now, if you have never worked with this deck before let me give you a brief introduction – “This deck is for those who find it hard to follow rules, conform, bend to authority and generally ‘do what they are told.’ May your rebel heart always be bold. May your spirit always be free. My you remember to live the Divine Circus and have fun doing things the way you aren’t supposed to, whilst living your most creative and unique divine destiny.” The crystals that came to play are the ones from the beach, the gorgeous rocks that I pick up every morning and bring home to their beautiful bowl. And of course some delightful rose petals and Selenite to amplify.

Thus, I invite you to take a pause and a moment for yourself. Just BE and as you breathe in a lovely deep breath resonant with what would nourish your soul and as you breathe out through your open mouth release the procrastination and apathy. Just as nature imbues the butterfly with an innate ability for radical transformation, so too do you have natural instincts within, guiding you to grow in dramatic, utterly life-changing ways. Progress is your perfection. Growth is your attainment. Do you shun what you have been or mistakes you have made? Or instead, do you wear your ability for transformation as a sacred crown of power?

Transformation is an ability, an art, a sacred power. It requires an ability to go through the death of an old self, to be reborn again. That death might be an identity, a lifestyle or career, or an inner sense of self that no longer seems enough to truly reflect who you are becoming.

Don’t dream small dreams, for you are capable of far more dramatic and colourful creations. Trust in the magnificence of what you are becoming, the expression of the transformational intelligence and power within you.

DATE WITH DESTINY

Out of the ethers and into your life, she arrives now because you have a date with Destiny. She is a mysterious creature; her ways are wild and her guidance is true. She may create chaos from which a new order can emerge, but there is no need to fear. She has come to inspire, uplift and direct you.

A date with Destiny is a big deal. It is the moment when you realise there is something helping you out, something intelligent, powerful, wise and, no matter how empowered you are, something even more powerful than your own efforts. All bets are off! Nothing is held sacred and anything can happen. If you are a control freak, this will probably scare you witless! You need to trust Destiny’s interventions on your behalf, even if her work seems to be causing your best intentions to go astray. Trust or go mad because you cannot control her. And you do not need to! Your divine destiny is your best life. It is you in the fullest and most beautiful creative expression possible. It is what you want and need, even when you don’t immediately realise it, even when that is rather different to what you once thought you wanted and needed.

The Universe has heard the prayers in your heart, and life is going to answer them by rearranging what needs to be rearranged to sort out whatever has been troubling you. Make sure you let it happen. The more you allow yourself to trust in her, the more you will realise that the universe is working with you, rather than against you, and if you are willing, it will show you the time of your life!

DIVINE DISGUISE

Some blessings are obvious – the door that opens, the person who says yes and the instant success of an idea. But not all blessings are instantly recognisable. Some blessings are so veiled that at first you might consider them to be an unwanted development. A concealed blessing is either already at work in your life or on its way. Don’t worry if you feel like things aren’t working out as they should. Soon enough, the disguise will be dropped, and the blessed unmasked in all its beauty.

Blessings are the mysterious workings of the universe, there to help us along our unique life path to live our truths and fulfil our potential. The universe has the knack of knowing just what it is we need, even when sometimes we might think we need something altogether different. This is how it can be that something we resist and reject in our lives can become the very thing we’re most grateful for later on. We realise it had been a blessing masked, something actually helping us, even though it might have come in the form of a challenge or a struggle before we eventually gain great benefit from it.

The real beauty of a situation isn’t obvious to you yet. But trust and have peace of mind and a realisation that the universe does really know what it’s doing. It’s in your corner, on your side, cheering you on and helping you avoid unnecessary pitfalls, even if you don’t know they exist. There is no need to worry, even that which appears to be most troublesome is going to reveal itself to be working in your favour!

Are you Willing to Rewrite Your Story?

Happy Magickal, Mystical, Merry, Magnificent, Manifesting Monday! How are you delicious lovely? How has your week been?

Mine was fab until the wee hours of Friday morning (4:30am) Where I got taken out by a goose and ended up with concussion! (Seriously, you really can’t make this shit up!) So I spent a few days feeling dazed, confused and forgetting appointments, which really irritated me, but what bothered me more was having to say “Sorry, got smoked in the head by a goose at 430 in the morning.” There were many sideways glances, to say the least!

Ah well, life happens lol.

I had an interesting question from a client where she was talking about all the “energetic themes”, and how confused she was as to which one to pay attention to. As we dug deeper she was getting a tad irate and saying “There is a seasonal energy, there is an elemental energy, then you share the shamanic energy of the month, I love my monthly energy reading but there are the moons as well – which do I fucking pay attention to?”

Aaaahhhh, grasshopper. Good question. Pay attention to what resonates for you. You don’t have to take all of them on, unless you understand how they weave or are at least willing to play with the weaving.

Here’s my personal example:- Okay, we are in early Autumn and the element is Water, the Divine Feminine, communication, creativity, connection, expression (think second chakra). I take that as the umbrella as this spans a few months. Then under that gorgeous umbrella I work with the shamanic energy of the month (which we will explore in a mo), as that gives another broad brush stroke to what to allow to perk and play. Then I have my own monthly energy reading, which shows what under those two gorgeous canopies will play out for me personally. Then of course there are the energy of the new moon and full moon, and those both come under all the rest. It’s not complicated and it shouldn’t cause stress – it’s more a case of looking at the broad vision and then bringing it into yourself. Does that make sense?

So for example we have the element of Water in play right now, yes? Which we have referenced above now let’s look at the Shamanic Energy for October:- REWRITING YOUR STORY. The best person to explain this is Lena – Do you love every aspect of your life? Do you love what is happening in the world, on our planet, with your friends and loved ones? Do you wake up every day and feel that everything is perfect and right and you would not have it any other way?

If you answered yes, you are a rarity, as most of us have aspects of our lives that could be much improved and there are parts of our personal story and what we see happening in the world that we would give anything to change.

This month we have the opportunity to shift the cycle of feeling victimized and imprisoned by our story and to put into action our dreams for a better future. This is not going to happen passively. This is an active time of releasing the old story, the attachment to suffering, blaming and complaining, and resetting the patterns to begin manifesting a new dream and living a new story. It seems simple when put into words. However, the attachment to the comfort zone, no matter how unsatisfying it is, can be an enormous challenge to overcome. We simply do not believe we have the power to rewrite our story. Our story is the product of a set of rules, some conscious and some unconscious. Okay, so do you see how the element of Water, the Divine Feminine, emotions, communication now feeds into REWRITING YOUR STORY? Then my personal energy report for the month is all about shifting, celebrating and communicating in a way that is a tad more aligned and challenging. (Which again ties in to the two tiers above). Then if we look at the New Moon we just had in Libra, which was about balance, communication etc. Voila! It’s like making a glorious cake with multiple layers. The cake wouldn’t be as amazing without each piece. Yes? Does it become clearer now for you?

Enough chuntering, let’s go see who wants to work with you this week. When I went to the cards, there were two decks that wiggled and jiggled and then one bounced the other out of the way (cheeky monkey’s). The Oracle of the Dragonfae were most clear – they had messages and guidance they wanted to share. Now if these guides are new to you, please let me introduce them:- These guides are the magickal and mystical that weave through the threads of every day, they are the Dragonfae, Gods and Goddesses who dwelt in dimensional lands….Eden, Avalon, Ys, Atlantis and Mu, they are Morgan, Guenevere, Merlin and others – fully alive and filled with magick! They are the deliciously magickal beings that have always been there, we just forgot, and when we connect with them, we reconnect with the lost parts of ourselves, allowing us to fully explore the gift of life on this beautiful green and blue planet, known by some as Gaia, by others as Dana, and by many other names.

The crystals that wiggled and jiggled are:- Amethyst – aids healing and intense spiritual growth, also a gorgeous stone of protection. Chrysocolla – revitalises and balances the base, navel and solar plexus chakras. Lepidolite with Micca – One of the best mood stabilizers, it doesn’t require a prescription and side effects include a sense of calm and tranquility during times of stress and chaos.

So are you ready? Are you ready to at least perk Water and Rewriting your story? Breathe little one, take a big breath out through your mouth and then a deep inhale through your nose. Hold for 4 and then sigh it out. Let the cares and worries drop to the ground. Remember you are part of the Divine. You are connected to Heaven and Earth. As you breathe, ask yourself what tiny piece of your story are you willing to rewrite? Breathe that in. Breathe that out and then slowly back in. When you’re ready, pick the card or cards that whisper, nudge or jump out at you.

Dear one, never be surprised at the ways in which your connections to the Mother and to the Earth are being birthed into the world. If you are experiencing prophetic dreams, sift through the images, and the messages and know that all insights are worthy of attention, and most especially your own. The inner world and the Earth’s magick are both speaking to you, and wishing for you to answer. Do this by connecting with your own inner self. We know that you are searching for answers that are indeed within you, and that the path you are walking is not easy under your feet.

We all return to Her, the great Goddess, our Mother. The Earth wishes for you to reconnect with her in simple, pleasant and joyful ways – friends and food, laughter and love. In time you will come to understand these silent ways of communicating and know the truth of your belonging to the old ways.

AINE AND THE GUARDIAN

Here I stand, offering to you the protection and safety of my guardian being, wanting you to know how very protected you truly are. Never need you fear again those who have done you harm. This is over, and never again will disrespect and tyranny blight your path and light. Know that from this moment on, I stand with you, as does this magnificent Moondragonfae guardian, and together we say you may live as you wish, you may love as you wish, you may worship as you wish. No longer will others who feel they know best have their way with you, in spirit, in your heart, in your body, in your eternal soul. You are a radiant being of moonlit power, and the Goddess, our Mother, is overjoyed at your brilliance, your wit, your beauty, your freedom.

I repeat. You are safe. You are protected. You are divine. All else is a lie.

Allow yourself to take flight, and explore the night and the freedoms it holds. The Moon cycles have much to reveal to you now, and as she wanes and waxes, and shines fully, you may stand beneath her and feel her rays shining through your every cell, filling you with natural magick that sustains your freedom, your true soul self, and brings you a warrior strength that by no means decreases your brilliance as a woman, or your femininity. Be receptive, and Aine will guide you to her magickal places, and this galactic Dragonfae being will help you see beyond our own star, the Sun, into the realms beyond. There is no true happiness without joy in being who you are. Over this next moon cycle, the forthcoming 28 and a half days, many opportunities will come to you to play, revel, dance and explore the moonlit and joyful part of yourself that has been truly too long neglected!

It is time to come forth from the place where you have been taking shelter and quiet time, and partake of the joy of good sweet company. Know that everyone, including the beings of the Dragonfae, is delighted and happy to know of your ability delight in your own self.

Fall Equinox is here and we have a New Moon in Libra! Whoot!

Happy Magestic, Magickal, Miraculous, Mischevious, Magnificent Mabon Monday!!! Whoot! Whoot! Fall Equinox (Mabon) is here! I am wiggly, piggly, jiggly like a labrador puppy as I love this time of year and most certainly this celebration and the energy that comes with it. Yummers! For those of you who don’t know anything about Mabon, you can find out here. Mabon is often referred to as “Witches Thanksgiving” (no, it doesn’t mean you have to be a witch). It means it’s the second harvest festival on the wheel of the year, a time to give thanks for the bounty in your life, to release the things that you may have outgrown and to be grateful and count your blessings! Yes? Counting our Blessings is a powerful practice and something I do every morning on the beach.

Thank you to so many of you who messaged and emailed over the weekend sharing how much you enjoyed the Mabon Magick Manual and telling me about the rituals that you are choosing to do today – so very cool. One lovely woman asked for ideas to help her young granddaughters mark the day with ritual – I was thrilled to share some of the things I did with my kiddlies when they were little as ritual taught when young is so empowering and connecting. I also want to say a huge thank you for all the birthday wishes and love, I was so touched and feel incredibly blessed!

The weekend was glorious fun! As one of my son’s birthday is two days before mine, we had a joint family/friend gathering on Saturday where we rolled sushi and ate the most amazing Black Forest Cake made by my lovely friend Marja. (The best Black Forest Cake I have ever had). We laughed, danced in the kitchen, told bad jokes and snarfled a shed ton of sushi that we had made, it was great fun.

First thing on my birthday I took Danu for a quick jaunt around the neighbourhood bright and early and I nearly wet myself laughing at one point! A couple of days ago I was thinking to myself – gosh I would like a HUGE planter (I mean like a good 2.5 feet tall), that’s interesting etc. Lo and behold as we turned a corner – there on the boulevard was the perfect huge gorgeous planter! Quickly finished our jaunt, grabbed the truck and with lots of “oofs, aahhs” and brawn loaded it into the truck. Fabulous gift from the Universe to start my birthday morning! I then bundled up and headed out with Danu in the rain to the woods. It was glorious! The smells, the colours, the soothing green that wraps itself around you like a rejuvenating hug – ahhhhh. Now, if you have never walked with a doggo I highly suggest it (go borrow one if you have to). They a pure joy in motion. Danu was up in the bush, dashing to the lake, shooting back along the trail, trying to chase the frog, sniffing at the gorgeous gnarled roots – pure joy in motion.

In the evening, like a fall leaf I changed hair colour (thank goodness). Now if you know me, I have been rocking super short blonde hair with a darker undercut, all summer. Well with Mabon here it is time to be like a leaf and change colour, so now I am rocking the colour that I love a super, super, super (did I say super) bright red – positively perfect for fall me thinkst.

Today I am taking a day to hang out with Mother Nature, garden, plant, harvest and practice ritual. I have already done my fall cleaning and cleansing and am looking forward to some play time with the plants, nature, the random animals that appear in my garden (there was a peacock in the rainbow chard yesterday when I got home!), and doing some releasing and intention setting. How are you going to mark today?

We have a New Moon in Libra happening this Saturday on the 28th. What does this mean for you? Remember New Moon’s set the energy for the month, and are a fabulous time to write your New Moon wishes – so think about the Libra energy. Libra is about balance and harmony, so this New Moon is inviting you to to look at if you might have a strong need for balance and harmony. You probably desire to keep things “nice” rather than venturing into fundamental questions in order not to disturb the peace. You must learn to share your good and bad feelings. Do not be afraid to be who you really are, despite what is expected of you. Hell yes! The more we own and embrace who we are and how we feel, the better the world is (trust me).

Okay, we are doing something a tad different this week. When I was at the Mind, Body, Spirit Expo the other weekend a deck called to me so strongly that I didn’t even open it and look (which I normally always do), I just paid for her and brought her home. Well she insisted on being the guides to work with today and for this week and I have to say I think that’s quite delicious. This is a different type of deck, there aren’t guides per se, but there are – if that makes sense. Please let me introduce you to Blessed Be as these guides are new to you and relatively new to me, allow me to introduce them. “May these cards and guides offer you ways to enter into deeper appreciation of your life and its manifold blessings. May you have hope, understanding and kindness. And most of all, may you know deep within your soul, that thou art blessed.”

The crystals that were wiggling are:- Black Moonstone – for “feeling”, and understanding via intuition and emotional “thoughts”, rather than via intellectual reasoning. Smoky Quartz – is amazing for balancing and grounding as well as helping you to vibrate at your fullest potential as it releases negative emotions, and last but not least – Carnelian – stabilising, it restores vitality and motivation, and stimulates creativity. It gives courage, promotes positive life choices, dispels apathy and motivates for success.

And of course from our jaunts in the woods there are leaves that are just beginning to turn and some lovely juicy rose hips! (Don’t worry they then got used in a glorious Mabon centre piece).

Okay so let’s get centred shall we. Just gently breathe yourself back into your body, be here now, just at this moment. I invite you to see in your mind’s eye the Divine Mother (whatever she looks like to you), breathe. Then imagine her putting one hand on your feet and one hand on your head and saying “Everything between my two hands is beloved and blessed by the Goddess.”Breathe that blessing in, allow it to swirl through you and know how loved you are. Then when you’re ready; pick the card or cards that wish to bless you this week.

A BLESSING ON A BATTLE THAT CANNOT BE AVOIDED

“A blessing to help you through a conflict that must be faced with courage and compassion for all involved.”

Battles in our lives are not always the way we have seen them depicted. They may not be a fight, or a confrontation, or the clash of swords swinging. Most of us do not want the battle, we want the peace, and to talk and parlay our way through the differences and the difficulties within our lives. Many times we may walk away, knowing that the battle will bring more damage than we can face. And at other times, we must walk through the fires of confrontation and go into a battle we did not want, but which can no longer be avoided.

So, this is a blessing on those who are to face a battle they wished was not theirs to fight, but it has become clear that they have no choice but to confront, to bring out their arms, and to fight. It may be with the law, it may with wits. It may be through speaking your truth, and it may be by refusing to accept what another has determined is enough for you. It may be with a challenge, or a condition, or an injustice or a cruelty.

Whatever the nature and form of the battle before you, accept now this blessing upon you, for your courage. For your reluctance to bring aggression into the world. For your refusal to run. For your determination to see this story through, and for the belief you now have in yourself and whatever cause it is that you now stand up for. For your warrior’s heart, which is blessed with courage, and strength, of the feeling of fear, yet the ability to stand your ground. For the swinging of the sword, and the raising of the shield, For the quiet in the chaos that you will find, and for the sacrifice you will make, in order to see this through. You are blessed, and your warrior spirit is rising, and it is blessed, for you are no aggressor or foolish conqueror. You are a soul who will no longer run from what stands between you, and the rest of your beautiful life.

A BLESSING FOR UNITY WHERE ONCE THERE WAS DIVISION

“A blessing to help accept the difference between you, so that they inspire conversation and exploration, interest and discovery, rather than separation and rejection.”

May the division between you be left behind as you both begin to build a bridge of light formed from the willingness within your hearts to find your way back to a common vision. May the differences be worked through with the highest good of all concerned the foremost goal. May the differences that remain be ones that bring spice and change and agility to your ways and thinking, and may the bridge that is built between you all be strong and sturdy, lasting through the ages.

May the newfound unity recognise that there is not sameness, but a oneness of vision and a weaving together of dissimilar threads to create a glorious picture of paradox and complementary opposites. Let the antagonism and focused-upon rejection give way to humility – a willingness to listen, and may those who are unquiet and bellicose in their rumblings and threats be stilled by the knowledge that all will gain when peace is found.

May the love that can be born between people find its way through the fear. May the sense that when together, more can be achieved than when stubbornly apart, melt away the fences and walls that hold us from each other. Let us live and let live, give and take, share and receive, and come to an understanding. And let none of us involved in the bringing together of separate parties set alight that bridge.

Instead, let us quietly, surely and with intentions matching actions build the way to reach each other once again. United, so much can be done. We can raise each other up, and as you do, each of you who brings your heart to this task of healing will stand firm upon the solid ground you are now building. Unity is yours, friend.
