Happy Magickal, Miraculous, Meaningful, Majestic, Musical, Manifesting Monday!

Can you believe we are in December already?  I have to say that for me it felt like 2022 just whizzed by!  And here we are on the first Monday of December, closing out the year and stepping into all sorts of celebrations and expectations lol.  

To  help us all navigate and set strong intentions for 2023 I am opening up spots for Opening Up The Door on 2023. Your Personal Theme card reading for 2023.

This reading is designed to support and empower you for the year ahead as we dive deep and explore the themes and energy of your theme card.  It shows what 2023 will bring to you personally, energetically and how to embrace and embody it all year long.

Many of you found this super helpful last year and have requested it again.  

So voila, here it is!

Also, many of you have emailed and asked if there is going to be a Book of Winter Solstice.  Yes, yes there is. 

Too often, we go through winter out of alignment with the seasonal energy: we’re working against it, and it’s creating a lot of dis-ease in our spirits. It depletes you.

This is why The Book of Winter Solstice was created.  To offer a different, deeper and more meaningful way to engage with all that our society and our soul needs. 

I will be sending out an email mid week with all of the info, so that you have it in time for this gorgeous Solstice.

Okay, so with our move into December the energy has changed and the theme is “GET INSPIRED.”

As Lena explains – “December is a big month and not entirely all beauty and fun, as we are still under sluggish influences keeping us focused internally, filtering and weeding out the debris of old emotional baggage, relationships that don’t support us, habits that don’t serve us, and responsibilities that are not ours. The good news is that we are very slowly moving out of the intense grind of the past several months that for many of us has been very challenging.

The most important area of growth and focus this month is around the reflection of what inspires you and whether you have what inspires you active in your life at this time or not. 

We have some powerful points of change with the full moon and the solstice times that will hold your feet to the fire in this process of observation making it one not so easily ignored. 

Whatever is not inspiring will become painfully obvious and you will have opportunities to make choices, decisions and adjustments. There are a lot of aspects to inspiration that will be affected this month beginning with the personal self. 

Are you inspired by who you are? Self-esteem issues are on the table and there will be many chances to forgive the past and reset one’s relationship to self.”

On Wednesday, December 8th we welcome in the Cold Moon, the last Full Moon of 2022! December’s long dark nights and cold frigid days bring the Moon’s annual cycle full circle. 

The Cold Moon’s  spiritual meaning indicates now is an ideal time to start visualising what you want to bring into your life. (Which ties in for the energy of this month of Get Inspired).

Once 2022’s Full Moon of December arrives, we’ve completed an entire trip around the sun. Now is a beautiful moment to focus on all the good things headed your way!

You’ve been working so hard and have some serious gumption, trust that the universe will help bring your intentions and dreams to fruition. The Cold Moon encourages you to follow your greatest passions and spiritual joys.

It’s a time for introspection and soul-searching, a chance to recharge and reconnect. This is a magical season full of transformation and deep internal work.

It may seem counterproductive to pause, rest, and reflect. Especially in our Western Culture that is all about the parties and celebrating right now.  

However, remember your worth isn’t defined by your productivity. 

Use the Cold Moon as a symbolic guide to “freeze and hibernate” as well. Slow down and be fully present in activities that truly bring you joy and pleasure.  To help you delve deeper into this energy I have some lovely Journal Prompts for you to play with as well as a super easy Ritual.  

Before you know it, Spring will be here, so enjoy these quiet moments of rest and solitude.

So with all of that chuntering on, let’s crack on with the reading.  When I went to the guides and cards and asked who wanted to show and shine – the deck that came out loud and proud this week is Love Your Inner Goddess Oracle.  Perfect!  As we could all do with loving ourselves a wee bit more and being a tad more gentle and kind whilst we navigate these delicious times.

YOU ARE THE LIGHT

You are going through a spiritual initiation.  This is happening because you are ready for it, even if it doesn’t always feel that way.  The way to pass this test is to rely on the light within you.  Don’t let fear or doubt make you distrust the path ahead.

Don’t let fear or doubt make you distrust the path ahead.  Don’t give in to despair or believe that things will not work out.  You are learning to trust that the Universe knows what it is doing.  There are great and beautiful things meant for you, and no matter what appears to be right now, they will come to you in the perfect way and at the perfect time.

Light is powerful.  Some people don’t understand this.  The fear in their hearts makes them cynical.  That fear stops them from seeing what is true.  In the absence of truth, they hold on to their judgements instead.  They scoff at what they don’t understand.  Be careful of allowing such people to influence you.  

It’s not wise to take advice from people who are investing in creating pain.  You can have compassion for them, but you must not underestimate how their negativity can taint your trust in the Universe.  When we feel the light within us, when we trust in it, we are able to move beyond the fear and negativity that exists in this world.  You have it within you to be that light.

The only thing that can trap you is the choice to believe in the negative and give in to the fear.  

That’s not you, so don’t choose that for yourself.  Don’t listen to people who would cause you to question the light.  The light within you is the real you.  

Be at peace, beautiful one, for the positive power of the light in you is stronger than any darkness.    Keep your faith in the light.  All will be well.  

MERMAID SOUL

Deep within, you know what excites and inspires you.  Your job isn’t to decide whether that inspiration is practical, realistic or even possible.  Human beings have been shown throughout history that the ideas which they once scoffed at as  being ridiculous or impossible to achieve can become the realities that they rely upon and take for granted as a natural part of their daily lives not long afterwards.

You too shall move from doubt to wondering how you ever lived without this passion, idea or inspiration of  yours.  Let the Universe show off its creative flair for the unexpected and inspirational through  you.  Do not give up on what truly moves and inspires your heart, for soon enough it will be part of your world.

You are a rare creature, not entirely of this world.  You need to swim in deeper waters of mystery and meaning.  In those deep places, you can commune with the sacred and be nourished by that which is real and yet cannot be explained.  To deny this and remain on the surface of things will not satisfy your soul.  It would be like eating stale biscuits, when what you really hunger for is succulent fruit, sweet with juice.  

You crave mystery and magic the way most other people crave control and certainty.  These yearnings of yours are not immature or escapist.  They are the voice of your inner mermaid, rising up from your oceanic soul.  

Her siren song is the voice of your true desires.  You are connected to worlds beyond this physical reality, the worlds of spirit, healing, intuition, meditation and creativity.  

When you are in touch with her you will embody your feminine freedom and spiritual independence.  You will live your life according to what fills you up, living from that inner place where you feel at home, the realm of your soul.  

PEACOCK PRIESTESS

Daily life can get us down before we even realise what is happening. Trying to do it all can push us beyond our limits, draining our energy and stealing our joy.

One moment, we are on top of the world; the next moment, we wonder what happened and why we cannot rally our spirit. If we do not learn how to rest, exhaustion, crankiness and illness eventually force our hand. It takes longer to break down and recover – and is much more painful – than it is to learn to rest as part of our lifestyle.

Rest is not only a way to prevent unnecessary suffering, it also has its own value. When we are in restful quiet, we can hear our inner voice and the guidance of spirit much more clearly. We can feel gratitude and take delight in what brings us pleasure. Rest is part of how we live well.

Peacock Priestess reminds you that you can see taking rest as an act of love and a way to be a good role model. Don’t allow guilt or shame to stop you from taking delight in your downtime. What kind of rest you need will vary. It could be a long nap, painting, listening to music, writing poetry or practising meditation, a bath with candles, visiting a temple or church to sit quietly , working in your garden, playing with animals or going for a walk and being in nature, soaking up her beautiful healing energy.

There are many ways to rest. Try some. Find out what you enjoy.

If you feel impatient for something to happen – or worried that you are not accomplishing all that you want to achieve quickly enough – then take heart.

The Universe is working with you, not against you, to bring your dreams to life. Even times when not much seems to be happening are a part of this creative process, balancing out other times when energy becomes active and intense.

What will be most helpful for you and your dreams right now is to rest. During that pleasurable rest, behind the scenes, some spiritual magic is going to be created.

WARRIOR GODDESS

This is not a time to play it safe, nor is it time to allow another to take the lead in your life.  You need to believe in yourself and trust that the instincts guiding you are correct.  If you need to take action, do it.  Speak up: say yes; say no.  Trust your inner truth completely.

Be bold.  

The Universe will answer your boldest actions with affirmation, and you’ll move through the consequences of your actions with grace and courage, ending up exactly where you are meant to be.

You are ready.  Life has been preparing you.  Your experiences have made you stronger and wiser.  You have spirit and you have courage.  Believe in yourself!  You are a Warrior Goddess, and empowered, divine woman.

Trust that your foundations are strong.  Put your faith in the Universe.  It has been your life coach and guide all along, helping you build up your inner resources, encouraging you to realise the power that has always been within you.

The Universe believes in you.

When you feel it is time to take a step, take it with confidence.  When you ask for help from the Universe, ask with boldness and total confidence that your prayers will be answered in the best possible way.  You have the right to require that your personal space be respected.  You have divine permission and encouragement to claim your rightful place in the world.  You are meant to say no to behaviour that is dishonest, manipulative and bullying.

The warrior goddess uses her sacred anger to set a boundary and speak her truth, not to attack another.  She uses her inner fire to live with integrity, even if the right choices for her seem hard or frightening at the time.  She knows that the Universe has her back, so she is willing to be true to herself no matter what.  

She places integrity above all else.  She knows that compromising her self-respect to win a battle will end up losing her the war.

How Big are Your Balls? Lol. Welcoming The Dark, Creativity, Intuition and the glorious Winter Solstice is coming!

Happy Magickal, Merry, Mystical, Marvellous, Magnanimous, Manifesting Monday!

How are you?  If you celebrated Thanksgiving I hope it was relaxing, fun and made your heart sparkle.  

Here the air has literally changed and I can smell that early winter smell mixed with wood smoke from cosy fireplaces.  

As I go for my big yomps with Danu the wise (and highly energetic) therapy doggo I’ve noticed that people are putting up tons of sparkly lights – I so LOVE sparkly lights! 

When I moved here a couple of years ago I noticed that people decorated their outdoor trees with HUGE, I mean HUGE Big Balls!  Which was a “new to me” thing, (Thus very quickly I experienced Big Ball Envy!)  So I thought – I need me some BIG BALLS!  Bright, shiny, sparkly and eye-catching lolol.  

I put this thought out there to friends and random strangers and lo and behold I manifested gorgeous gold crescent moons with a single star on them, big glorious gold balls and …….. Drum roll please!  BIG BLUE BALLS!  

(Trust me, some days I have the humour of a 10 year old boy!)  Yup, huge, mammoth BIG BLUE SHINY BALLS!  Snort! 

I have since added more big balls so we now have gold, red, and blue balls.  Thus, on Sunday when we had a glorious sunny day for a change I got out the ladder and bedecked the heck out of the tree in front of the house and a couple of wee Garry Oaks on the boulevard.  It looks quite cheerful, sparkly and makes me smile.

So when a rather crotchety person walked by and said “You’re putting Xmas decorations up already?”  I just grinned and said “these are my Solstice balls, and I like my balls big!” 

Okay enough of those shenanigans!  

Can you feel it?  The change in the season, the change in the energy?  

We are in the glorious late Fall and early Winter energy where we are being invited to go into the dark, to go inward, to ponder, perk, plan and prepare!  

Winter Solstice is just around the corner and I am so thrilled as it is one of my most favourite times of year.  I will be putting together a glorious package on rituals, energy and ways of celebrating the Winter Solstice, so make sure you are on the email list. 

However, the bottom line is very much about – into the dark we go to nourish, replenish and rejuvenate.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been finding with the shorter days and longer nights that my Creativity has been going through the roof.  I’ve been knitting, doing macrame, making wee mushrooms out of clay, writing tons and tons and it has felt so nourishing and satisfying.  It’s also increased my intuition 10 fold (which has been most interesting).  

As when we allow Creativity to flow through us (without any attachment to perfection on the end result), it allows our Intuition to flow alongside and that’s when Magick happens! 

What is something you have thought about making or creating but have held off due to overthinking and trying to make it perfect?  I dare you to try it this week.  Set aside some time in the evenings to just play!

Okay, let’s crack on with the reading.  Are you ready?

When I asked my guides who wanted to come and play this week they picked the gorgeous Wild Wisdom Faeries.

Now if these guides are new to you, please let me introduce them as not to, would be rather rude!  

It is time.  It is that Once Upon a Time again. Time to return to our relationship with the wild places, the wild ones, the faeries and our wildish selves.  For as we do, miracles of healing will occur.  Just as faeries cleanse and purify the water, the air, the earth, the fire and the spirit, when we reweave our sacred alliance with the faery realms, we too begin to heal.  From our sadness.  Our loneliness.  From our souls that cry out for the poetry that is the soul of the world.

If you yearn to shine once again, if you wish to reclaim the wildish self who lives at the heart of you, who knows how to be well, to be happy, to be whole…..if you wish to clear illness, guilt, and untruths from your life and truly, deeply heal and transform, then these guides are your keys to the faery realm, and there you will be reborn.  

Perfect guides for the energy shift that is happening and as we move closer to Solstice when the Fae come to dance.  

Okay dear one, take a moment.  Breathe yourself back into your body.  Allow your heart to beam like a glorious magnet and pull all the pieces of yourself back that you may have left scattered throughout the day.  

Then when you are ready I invite you to see in your minds eye a warm, welcoming darkness that wraps itself around you like a soothing weighted blanket.  

Your body and mind relax and from this place your Creativity surges bringing with it your own delicious Intuition.  Breathe that in.  Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that whisper to you, tickle the edges.

CHILD OF THE MOON

It is time to allow the cycles of time, the tides and the flow of life herself, and even the power of the moon’s cleansing light to help you to forgive someone.  For if you are suffering right now, it must be due to a feeling of resentment or dislike that remains within you.  

There is nothing that forgiveness and her power cannot heal.  But how to do this, when life seems to flood us with memories of incidents that have wounded us?

It’s time to conduct a forgiveness ceremony as sincerely as you can in order not to recreate a situation that has previously hurt you.  While you are still vibrating to the energy of the past, it cannot help but repeat itself, even if the echoes do grow fainter.

You can attain enlightenment – a lessening of the burdens, a reduction in grief, a return of good cheer and optimism – through forgiveness.  

By forgiving those who have hurt or persecuted us, we allow ourselves to be free.  

Ask the faeries to assist you, to help you find the opportunities to exercise your forgiveness muscles.  Ask them to help you clear under moonlight, and watch them clear and brush from you all the debris that causes you pain.  Just volunteer for this.  Just all it to happen.  Just be willing, be open to it.  

You will know you have forgiven when reminders of the person or situation no longer cause you distress.  You will see the blessings and the lesson, and you will not allow this to take place again because forgiveness frees us from the shackles of pain that tie us to the past and to people we have long left behind.

When we do not forgive, we are, energetically and quite literally, dragging them around behind us.  And it is that weight that can hold us back from our true potential.  

ONCE WAS INNOCENT

Once you did not know.  You did not know the truth that your heart belongs to nature, that you were born innocent and you shall die wise, and that this is the true natural law.  Once you did not know.  But now you do.  And now you do know, you must decide what to do.  

Once you’ve experienced the magick of life, watched the moonlight woven into jewels, water offer herself to the thirsty roots of trees for drink and heard the birds speak one with the other.  Now you know of this magick, what will you do?  Pretend to live as before?  Endlessly go though the days, the next so much the same as the day before that it feels you are endlessly reworking ever so slightly the same time between sunrise and sunset?

Now you know.  What will you do?

If you are courageous, you can now become who you truly are on every level, including the magickal level.  When you accept this part of who you are, and accept that this magick you have experienced is natural and good, you will grow stronger, more fearless, more calm, more effective and you will draw to you the people who can echo back to you these truths you have found.

You will no longer mind not fitting into a realm you always feared living in, and you will know you can find your own path, tangled and wooded as it may be.  You can no longer deny what you have seen, heard, felt and touched and been touched by.  You know magick is true and real.  And that wonderment is your path, from this time forth.

So what to do?  Seek advice and consult people who have had similar experiences.  Surround yourself with knowledge, and know that the innocence is not lost, and that your beliefs are not naive.  Your wisdom is not telling your truth, and acknowledging your experience.  

Choose, let your blood sing and your heart will open.  And you will be in wonderment evermore.  

I wonder, too.  What will you choose?

GREENMANS DOOR

The faery know that there are times when the door to their realm is firmly, well, shut.  They choose when and to whom the door will open.  And while they may not look like they are on guard, the beautiful faery maiden swinging oh so casually on the handle, and the Greenman of the wood – literally – behind her will not let any pass unless they have shown they are good and wild at heart.  

But what the faery also knows, and what you are about to learn, is a great secret.  For there are eight great doors to Faery every 13 moons, and they are as old as Mother Earth herself, and are powerful portals to other dimensions and worlds.  Each of these great doorways and portals occurs throughout what witches call the Wheel of the Year, and they run from sundown to sundown the following day.  

These eight special times have long been covered, or changed, or smothered by other lore.  But now you know their true magicks, you too can experience the door opening.  And if you are wondering when the next time is, it’s the Winter Solstice.  These doorways, once walked through, can assist you in detaching from harmful thoughts, relationships and behaviours.  Walking through these doorways HEALS.

You are about to pass through a potential doorway of time, thus you will soon have access to other dimensions and realities, including that of the faery.  

It is time to consider becoming a walker between the worlds, to dance in the liminal space and the field of infinite possibilities.  To draw back the veil and to part the mists.  

To do so will bring healing, change and powerful magicks into your current reality.  Ask the Greenman and the faery maiden for permission to enter and make an offering.  Then prepare for deep, beautiful, abiding change.  

Make an offering, place your hand on the door, and push ever so gently.  Then she will open.

How was your Samhain, All Saints Day and All Souls day?  I will say here in this neck of the woods it was deep, rich and welcoming!

We have lots to explore this week as there is big energy kicking around (in case you hadn’t noticed).  With moving into November the energy has shifted, Tuesday we have a Blood Moon Eclipse in Taurus.  Now I don’t know about you, but this energy is big and the word a lot of people are using is “Fated.”  (North Node energy activation and all that).

And we have the 11.11 portal energy on Friday.  

So snuggle up with a cuppa and let’s go dance between the warp and weft of these energies, so that we come out creating instead of tanking – yes?

As you know, we are now in November and the energy has shifted yet again (as it does monthly) and we are working with the energy of A NEW FERTILITY.  But what does this mean for you?

As Lena explains;  The first part of November, until the full moon on the 8th, remains an intense time between the 2 eclipses where anything can happen and the energy is tumultuous, unpredictable, somewhat accident prone, and can lean towards irritation, anger and restlessness.  

Remember that this is a time that supports transformational change and should be used wisely so don’t dwell on shortcomings and negativity. Use this time as an important reset for yourself that may include some letting go of negative habitual behaviour, addictions and situations that are toxic. 

Once we survive the next eclipse we have an opportunity to reboot our landscape and take a look at what we wish to initiate moving forward.

The theme of “a new fertility” is giving us the opportunity to re-evaluate how we think, what we believe and to move into a new way of being productive, sustainable and abundant.

We are moving out of a very masculine, active, aggressive time and into a more feminine expression of support which includes a necessary attention to what is fertility and how we are bringing it into our lives.

To have the most fertile ground requires fertilising it. Our fertiliser is the compost of our past patterns, experiences, lessons, trauma, grief, successes, disappointments, karmic relationships, challenges, opportunities taken, opportunities missed and anything else we have experienced in our past. 

Turning the past into good fertile compost requires letting go of your attachment to it.

Re-read that again!

It’s a time of big release of old dross and also releasing the attachment to it.  

In other words you can’t say you have released it and still talk about it daily!

On Tuesday, November 8th – Well, here we go. (Are you ready?)

A dramatic full moon lunar eclipse in Taurus will appear (which also happens to be Election Day in the United States).  Again, what does this mean for you?

This is a transformative and some have called it a “fated” eclipse.  It holds similar energy-ish to the one we had in May and it closes the eclipse portal that we have been experiencing.

Now if you remember, eclipses really uncover stuff.  I mean bring it to the surface like a boil!

An eclipse is a time where the dealings of our worldly life (money, relationships, work, family) can get a little wonky.

On the other hand, the mystical part of life becomes incredibly enhanced!

If you remember, Full Moons are a great time to let go and release energy that is no longer serving you which opens you up to new energy coming in which can support in healing, opportunities, advances, upleveling consciousness, partnerships/relationships, wisdom, financial, and/or abundance.

With this transformative Blood Moon Eclipse there is an uplevelling on all levels of our consciousness and our spiritual journey.  Which requires releasing the dross (are you seeing where I’m going with this?)

I have purposely used the word Transformative for this Blood Moon Eclipse, because if you are willing to do the work, release the dross, old baggage and welcome in new fertile energy; life will shift.  However, be clear on what you desire.

“Transformation can always be challenging and often requires the painful work of peeling back layers, shedding skin, and birthing into the new. Each of these steps carries its struggles and magic, but under a Blood Moon Eclipse, the intensity level can be turned up.”

So how to navigate this?  Take some time to journal and release.  Ask for strength, power and support for letting go of any drama that is not serving you well, acknowledge the karmic lessons you have learned and set an intention to embrace a new fertility where new ideas, insights and inspiration have a chance to take root and flourish.

This Friday (November 11th) is Remembrance Day, also known as Armistice Day.  It marks the day World War One ended at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918! 104 years ago!!!

Now I appreciate you may have been fortunate never to have experienced war, or had to fight in a war.  However, many people are not that fortunate and so I do feel it is very important, especially with what is happening in the Ukraine, to acknowledge and sit with it.  

To Remember.

The Poppy to me is a symbol of Remembering those who bravely went to fight for our freedoms and well being.  It is also a symbol of Hope, hope for our troops that are still deployed all over the world and Hope for a time of Peace.   As someone who was in the Military reserves and a reserve police officer, and also having friends who were or still are in the military, let alone a father who was and a grandfather, I feel very strongly about the respect and honour that is due to those sacrifices and those that are still away from home.  

Personally, I think it is important to focus on those types of events, the ones that inspire Hope and Peace, and don’t get me wrong, there are all sorts of wars still being waged all over the world.  But drop back into that space of Armistice, Hope and Peace – it is sooooo possible on every level in this world (at least that is my belief).

Thus on Remembrance day we have the potent energy of 11:11.  Great Jen, what does that mean for me (you may be asking)?

Close your eyes and remember the last time that you set an intention. Did you feel doubtful that your wish would come true, or did you have faith that the universe was listening, ready to help you bring your vision to life? 

11/11 is one of the most powerful days of the year for manifestation – a day when we’re reminded that our guides are always with us, supporting us on the path to our deepest dreams. There’s a reason why we’re told to make a wish whenever we see 11:11 on the clock. 11 is a master number, and its frequency speeds up manifestation, opening up channels through which angelic beings can send their wisdom and support.

“The number 11 grants us access to the 5th dimension, where the constraints of time and space do not exist. On 11/11, we experience 5D energy in the form of synchronicity, alignment, and acceleration. You might experience that “right place, right time” feeling – the reassurance that you’re on the right path, and everything you’re seeking is seeking you in return.”

A lot happening yes, amazing yes, transformative yes.  But are you willing?

These glorious guides give you needed glimpses into your everyday life and help you see where changes can be made to enhance your life here on Earth.  There is so much more to our world than we often perceive.

There exist many dimensions and numerous beings that reside in these realms.  All of these elemental beings are interconnected with us.  We do not live independent of one another but are interdependent.  These wonderful beings are here to help.

They not only take care of the Earth, but they work hard to take care of us.  We are familiar with many of these beings, such as angels, faeries, and elves.  There are many more we are not conscious of, but they, nevertheless, contribute to the workings of our planet.  Remember as you go through  your day, to ask for help from the elemental world whenever you need it.  The need is never too small to call on their help.  It is through helping us that they advance in their spiritual development.  We are their work.  We in turn can spiritually evolve through allowing them to help us.  To all these amazing beings we say Thank You.

Interestingly enough the crystals that came to share are all glorious beach stones and the herbs were most adamant. So we have Sage and Rosemary. Grounding and Flow is what they are saying.

Okay darling one, take a breath.  A glorious slow, sensual breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.  Feel your jaw relax (which helps your pelvic floor and diaphragm to relax) and as you breathe see in your mind’s eye a glorious Red Poppy.  

It dances in the breeze and its paper like petals glow with the richness of its colour.  As you start into the centre of it, allow yourself to be drawn in, ask your higher self, wise self – what karmic patterns do you need to release, what do you want to create space for that makes you feel hopeful and peaceful.

Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that invite you.

Finances

Faeries have no need to worry about finances.  They just trust they will be provided for, and so they are.

Trust has a lot to do with the finances of humans also.  

Asking and then trusting that things will work out for you opens a pathway for your good to come to you.  

This is a time when financial issues are at a head in your life.  There are opportunities opening up for you.  Keep your eyes open and be willing to check out any offers that come your way.  The Universe knows what you need and will provide if you stay grounded in faith.

Look carefully at how you use the money that is given to you.  Do you use it wisely?  Are you saving some each month?  Paying bills on time? 

If you find yourself resenting bill paying then change your attitude and face it with joy.  Thank Spirit that you are able to pay your bills.  Send each payment out with a blessing attached, that “…every person who comes in contact with this money be blessed.”  Finances will surely take a turn for the better.’

Choice

Look at this card.  This angelic being is bound round and round, yet her bindings are not secured.

She can choose to unbind herself at any moment.

Situations are not always as dire as they seem.  You must look deeper at things going on in your life.  Are you seeing all the different sides of a situation?  Perhaps you are feeling restricted when it is your choice to simply decide to be free.  

We often bind ourselves with limited belief systems and outdated thinking patterns.  What habits can you change in order to release yourself from your limited thinking?  Many situations are not black or white or good or bad.  It’s up to you to sit and see both sides.  

Ask for clarity and to see all facets before making up your mind.  Find your pedestal where you can see your truth and release all that does not fit your chosen reality.  

Choose wisely what you want in your life.  All of the choices we make create a vibration that affects all other life in the Universe.  If one chooses wisely, it will be what is also best for others.  You have much more control of your life and circumstances than you realise.

I am open to truth.

I choose to bring into my life, all the good that exists for me.

BOOK FAIRY

Intellect

This is about reading, writing, study and all intellectual pursuits in general.  It’s also about the stories of your life.  If someone were to write about your life and the stories of it, what would they say?

For those who love to read, be sure to allow yourself plenty of time for relaxing with a good book.  For those who do not care to read, consider what you are missing out on and consider reading more.  

It may be time to delve deeper into an area of study and learning that interests you.  Perhaps furthering your education, with much reading to do.  

There is one caution, if your nose is always in a book to the exclusion of people and other activities, you may want to make sure that you are not trying to hide from life.  It’s fun to live in another dimension for a bit, but be sure to come back to your own plane of existence.

It may be time to consider exploring something new and furthering your education.

Samhain, Stories and Scorpio New Moon Eclipse!

Happy Marvellous, Magnificent, Magickal, Manifesting, Miraculous Monday!!  

How are you delicious one?  

What I am absolutely pig wiggly tickled about is, Samhain is almost here!!!  (You may know it as Halloween) and I love, love, love Halloween.  The smells, the leaves, the costumes, the decorating – the whole nine yards!  

At the time that most of us celebrate Halloween it is also the festival of Samhain, the third and final Harvest festival  where we celebrate with fire, eating and honouring the dead.  

In many places, Samhain coincides with the end of the growing season. Vegetation dies back with killing frosts, and therefore, literally, death is in the air. This contributes to the ancient notion that at Samhain, the veil is thin between the world of the living and the realm of the Dead and this facilitates contact and communication.  

This is also the Celtic New Year.  Now I know some people get a tad tweaky when we talk Death, but death represents a release, whether it’s a release of breath, a release of habit, a release of a relationship.  That’s all it is.

Last week I was honoured and blessed to be officiating a celebration of life.  It was the first one I have done since my sister died 3 years ago, as to be honest I didn’t feel ready, it all felt still rather raw.  

However, the other month I was approached by a family who had lost their dear father/husband and asked if I would help them craft a ceremony to honour his death.   I felt into it and came to the decision that yes, I could.

Now when I help a family create a memorial I work with the philosophy of “Let that person’s life speak”.  It’s not just about what they did or how old they were, it’s about sharing the stories of the person, the memories, the anecdotes, the love, adventures, mishaps, funny sayings, hobbies – all of it.   And in doing the interviews there are so many amazing stories, tears, laughter and memories that flood to the surface, it’s quite amazing.

So at this memorial there must have been 200 people there, it was incredible!  All of them there to honour and celebrate a man they loved and missed.  Many friends and family got up to speak and share their memories, even if their voices cracked, there was laughter, music and a beautiful video clip of this wonderful man sharing his wisdom.  

To me that is a huge part of the energy of Samhain.  Honouring the dead, the stories of your ancestors, whether they be blood or choice.  The stories of your heritage whether it be blood or choice.  The stories of the past that support you and inspire you.  

And beyond reaching out to passed loved ones, make time to acknowledge the “deaths” both great and small in your life. There are so many things that have “died” this year, so honour the ones that matter most to you, even if they are a little painful.

Look to nature for guidance, as it is always showing us how it dies and rebirths itself again and again.

So a question for you.

Just prior to Samhain, on Tuesday,  we open up the second Eclipse Portal of the year as we have a New Moon Eclipse in the delicious sign of Scorpio!

Now if you’ve been with me a while you will have heard me say – Eclipses uncover things you may have not been looking at or totally procrastinating about.  So with this Eclipse on a New Moon, what have you stuffed in your closet that you really want to plant the seeds for?  

Also, remember, the Eclipse season really ramps up the energy and not just for the day but for the weeks and months to come…….  Just saying.  

Eclipse Season is always a highly transformative time. You can think of them as portals that fast-track you to the next chapter of your soul evolution. On this fast track, we tend to undergo abrupt transformations that can be life-changing.

All Eclipses will affect us differently, some we may feel intensely and others we may barely notice. But if there is a big soul upgrade that is needed in your life, if you have been nearing the end of a journey or looking for a leaping stone to take you to a new one, Eclipses very often bring the bridge you have been waiting for.

As Forever shares,

So, when I went to the cards and asked who would like to guide and teach this week I nearly snorted tea out of my nose when I saw who was most adamant.  (Seriously you can’t make this shit up!)  The cards that chose to guide this week are Les Vampires  (seriously!)

These lovely guides come to those who are undergoing a test.  If a shadow has fallen over your life, if you are confronting the unknown, you may feel abandoned and lonely, as if there is no light, no guide, and no path to follow.  

These guides walk the hidden paths of the Dark Forest, the ones who have made the Night their home, the guardians who can help you find your way back to the Dawn. They are abundant in all that you need at this time – rich in messages to offer, lessons to teach, and wisdom to share with you.

Oh my giddy Aunt!  Perfect!

So are you ready to play?  Hope so!  Take a moment, actually take more than one and just take a Breath.  Not a shoulder high breath, but a slowing, calming breath. 

Breathe it in through your nose and out through your mouth like a shoulder dropping sigh.  Keep breathing this way and invite into your minds eye your stories.  Don’t judge them, just let them swirl there like watercolours.  Don’t attach, just let them Be.  Then when you are ready and that energy has settled, pick the card or cards that invite you in.  They have something to share with you this week.

WITNESS

To have seen what you once thought was only a rumour, or only hearsay, or perhaps even made up, means you have changed.  You have experienced the dream that comes true in the weeks after you saw faces in the night, you have spoken with the nature spirits and you have come to know there is more than what so many humans wish to admit is true and alive in the world we all share.

Vampires like us, we are said not to exist.  But you know there is more here on this planet than anyone can even begin to dream of.

You may have witnessed something of late that others still deny is “real”.  But you are now a witness and having seen, you cannot un-see.  Knowing, you can no longer deny.  It is not that we wish for you to tell all of your new knowledge.  It is that we wish you to not lie to yourself, to no longer agnoise over questions of whether what you saw and felt and understood is true or untrue.  

There is so much on this planet of ours.  Think of it.  Who are we to deny the truth of the wonder that is this planet and all the manifestations of life upon it?

Know that what you have seen and felt is true.  Another may deny that you have witnessed a true thing.  But having seen or felt it for yourself, and now knowing, you have a duty to never again lie to yourself.  

You need not make this truth your entire life.  But never again lie to yourself.  

Accept the evidence of your experience, and honour it within your heart, and within your words when wisdom demands you speak freely.  

The veils of illusion and deceit have lifted.  While this can be painful, it is also a great blessing to know the truth.  Do not doubt your experience.  And when you speak of it freely and share your experience, you will find that others too resonate with what you are sharing.

FAITH

The belief that something will take place, or is right, or is a particular way, can be called faith.  Faith is quiet and hopeful, offers contentment and calm, it has not bravado, and it need not insist on its rightness.

Faith is something we have too, and we observe it in the best of those we call humans, the warm-blooded ones of whom you are one.

It is a beautiful gift that you humans have to be believers in this quiet, gentle way.  Faith is not always beautifully expressed.  Faith is a loving amazing quality, but it must be attached to something that is worthwhile.  

What do you have faith in?  What is faith to you?  Were you taught faith as a child, and did you lose faith at one point?  For you are often taught to believe in things that do not deserve your faith.

It may be time to relearn what it is you have enduring constant hope for – what you know will come to be, even if your eyes may never see.  To have faith is to remain loyal, but in a truly heartfelt way.  Tender, moving and full of grace, your faith may soon return to you.  Choose wisely in what you place this gift of your faith.  

If you have lost faith in a person, project, or humanity itself, it’s time to examine the source of your faith.

Know that it can be revived, and this time, you may choose where you place this most beautiful and tender of faiths.

REASON

I am the one who comes to you now so you can see clearly!  You feel others have had problems in this area, but if you simply think positively and send out waves of love the way will be cleared.

But no, this is not how this particular power works, my friend.

There is an obstructive force around you at present, one that will not allow you to pass, unless you strictly meet all criteria.  This force, in the form of a person, or institution, or corporation requires you to do everything that is required to pass through the gates.  

So, although you may consider yourself to be more charming, more well-liked, able to convince others, and worthy of inclusion, there is tedious paperwork and criteria that must be met – and we Vampires have this too.  You must do this perfectly, if you wish to pass the test, and gain what it is you seek.  

In the past it was the Church who controlled, now it is large companies and government institutions with their digital records and officious ways.  Whether it is tax time, or when you must fill out a form of endless length, read, and read again, the agreements you sign.  

Do not consider yourself different or better than others – for when it comes to matters like these, we are all subject to laws that are tedious at worst, punishing at times, and cruel at others.  The list goes on and on – there is a cruelty to the faceless conformity of bureaucracy – and to the negligence that can stifle your plans, and sometimes even threaten your very future.  

It’s time to sit calmly down, clear your mind, then begin to work your way through the details of a dilemma.  Trust us, there is a person about you who is able to advise you – please ask them for their assistance, and listen and act when that good advice is given with love and no strings attached.  

Your mind is powerful, and will be used for your soul’s highest purpose.  Accept excellent advice, and see the results this can bring.

October is Here, The Energy has Changed, Full Moon in Aries and the Eclipse portal opens!

Hello most gorgeous lovely – Happy Magickal, Miraculous, Moodling, Merry, Magnificent, Manifesting Monday!  The first Monday of October!!

I don’t know about you but it felt as if September just went zipping by, I put that down to the fact that in my family we are in the birthday season.  Yes I did say season. 

We had 5 birthdays to celebrate in September (including mine and thank you all for your lovely birthday wishes) and from now until Winter Solstice we have another 9 to celebrate!  

So snuggle up honey, grab a cuppa and let’s natter as we have lots to explore this week!  We have an energy shift, a glorious Full Moon in Aries this weekend and the Eclipse portal doth open!

But what does that mean for you? Lots!

With moving into October (one of my favorite months) as I love Samhain (Halloween), the veil thinning and the honoring of the ancestors, we have had a huge energy shift.  Many of you have written asking for tools and help as the energy is feeling quite off the wall and at times overwhelming.  Which I totally understand.  

In fact the other day I was very aware that the energy felt sharp and it was as if everything was very loud and too bright – so this is where self care tools and energetic tools come into play in a big way..

As Lena shares:

The main theme for October is: “Tumultuous Transitions”.

“October is a potentially stressful month where patience, acceptance and flexibility are needed to navigate it well. We are being pushed up against the wall of our own internal process of change and there is nowhere else to hide from what needs to be released, healed and transformed. 

There will be cranky times where you feel pulled to go back inside, be alone and in your process. And there will be times where you feel a push to get out in the world and jumpstart your next chapter. 

The energy is up and down, tricky and erratic, with the potential for disruption. However there will also be times of magic, beauty, cooperation and support.

The responsibility and discipline this month will be to manage your energy in a way that uses it for positive change, personal evolution and necessary reorganization instead of being quick to anger, blame and negative reactions. 

Make kindness a daily practice and take care of the relationships you value.”

So what can you put in place that will nourish you and support you this month?  What daily practice do you work with to clear your energy and the sharp bits?

This coming Sunday (October 9th), is the glorious Full Moon in Aries, also known as The Hunter Moon.  

The Hunter Moon is focused on internal work and self-reflection. 

We now begin the dark half of the year; accept and welcome the darkness with open arms and spirit.

Take a moment to look back in history at your ancestors and the lessons they can teach you. Before industrialism, people focused on harvesting and preparing for the coming of Winter.

Failure to do so meant facing one’s own death or mortality.

You can feel the magical energy in the air right now as we head toward Samhain, and the veil grows thin. 

This increases your ability to communicate with your ancestors or loved ones. It’s an opportunity for spiritual growth, goal setting, gratitude, and finding ways to slow down and enjoy the season of Autumn.

It’s also a Healing Moon however, this isn’t healing that comes in a nice tidy package, this is the healing that comes when you hit the place of surrender.  Which is the perfect time to invite the wisdom, support and love of your ancestral team to come work with you, or to heal and release any ancestral wounds you may be packing around.  

Chiron, coupled with the Aries lunar energy, promises healing, not from trying to fix, control, or force, but from surrender. When we surrender, it gives rise to acceptance, to letting go, to forgiveness, and opens us to the possibilities that those states can create.

And I know for many people the word “surrender” is so tough to embrace, however, it is an incredibly powerful thing to do.  

So do you see how the energy of the month and the Full Moon energy are tying together?

Then later in the month we open up the second Eclipse Portal of the year.  This is a time of significant acceleration of the collective and individual evolutionary pace. That in turn will open new doors and bring fated changes in our lives.

However, we will explore that later this month, as with the Full Moon energy it’s time to do some clearing and healing and embrace the energy of this month so that when Eclipse time comes you are feeling open, accepting, and supported.

Okay my darling, take a moment to breathe yourself here.  Hold your hand up to your heart level with the palms facing up to the sky.  See golden light being poured into them from the Divine and entering your heart and flooding through every cell of your body.  

Stay here a moment and just breathe that in.  

Then when you are ready, ask your wise self, your divine self, what do you need to know this week to support you in working with the energies of this month.  Then pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

ORCA MAGICK

Orcas are the brilliant, physical, living reservoirs of Earth and galactic history.  They are the carriers of wizards on their backs, according to Norse myth, meaning they carry the great sage lines of transformation and transmutation, and can pass this lore along.  They hold this history in the patterns of their ancient songs.  

One day we will translate the songs and understand our own past times.  Their bodies, those huge, resonating cavities, store the history of the planet herself.  They travel the world’s oceans, singing, clearing, and awakening the energy grid again and again, preserving, reviving, renewing ancestral lines that need to be in place for this planet to be whole and well, now and in the future.  

Earth is currently undergoing a vast initiation.  Some have called this an ascension, although what it truly is has nothing to do with high or low, but with an integration of more dimensions, fully awakening your DNA and charging your auric field to a more powerful capacity.  Healing, materialising into new forms, and creating will be greatly enhanced at this time.

Whales can assist with intergalactic travel (without physically leaving the planet), seal and repair any wounds or tears in your energy field, and return to you the parts of your soul that you may be unaware are even missing.  

A TIME TO SAY GOODBYE

A time to say goodbye will help you to let go, even though it hurts a lot.  This is now out of your hands; you have to say goodbye at this time. 

Be active in this ending when this card comes to you.  Be brave; think about how you can best take care of yourself at this time, and show the other person how much you care.  Don’t ignore or shun them.  Rather, let this person know what they have meant to you, wish them well on the next stage of their life journey, and let….them…go! 

There may be great sadness in doing so, but you will grow so much because you have chosen the better way to deal with this sad situation.  This other person has learned how to detach and stay detached.  He asks that you do not ask for him to return, to stay, or to cling.

You may be reluctant to see an ending – you may wish to extend the time you have with someone, or you may even feel like you are being cheated out of something you deserve. 

But the truth is that things must die in order to be reborn in another form at a later time.  This is the chosen time to go, and from the ashes, something new will arise, and it will be even better than you can imagine. 

Rebirth cannot take place without a death – and it is now time to end something, to let something both externally and internally die. 

It may be a long-held belief, a place that seemed to hold security, a friendship that has grown unhealthy, someone you’ve been going out with who no longer wishes to see you, or a beloved family member who may not be in this world much longer.  Whatever it is, let it – let them – go! 

Something else will return to you.  And you cannot be reborn unless you first know how to die.  This is your chance to learn something very profound, deep, and important.  Do not miss it by resisting what must take place.   

SNOW WHITE AND HER ANIMAL FRIENDS

You are loved and trusted.  Even the small ones of the forest gather with you after times of great unrest, when they feel they cannot find another trustworthy human to be with.  You have the energy of the gentle ones, and thus the small ones, the vulnerable ones like us, come to you – not to take, but to show you how trusted you are.

It is not a burden; it is a great honour.  Rarely do we show ourselves, but to you, we come and lay our heads in your lap.  There is such an air about you.  You are a safe, good person.

It is time for you to step up and protect others who are smaller and more fragile than  you.  This may be a reversal in roles for you, but the deer and the hare and the quiet, soft ones have chosen you because they trust that you can do this job.  

You may beel an unlikely hero, and you may experience a completely unforeseen victory.  But you can do it.  You must take great steps now to live up to this honour and trust.  It will be simple for you while you remain in the forest, but when you venture out into the world once again, will you make choices that support?

Make a commitment to protect .

Something you wished for will be given up, for now, so you can do something for the good of others.

But your energy will change as a result, and that will bring to you your deepest dreams and desires, purified and at the perfect time.  

Oh my Goddess, you seriously can not make this shit up!  Wishing you a glorious two weeks (as it is Thanksgiving here on the Full Moon).  Practice surrendering, and remember to celebrate the Full Moon.  If you are part of the email community there will be some guidance coming out later this week.  Big hugs and squeezes and be kind to your glorious self.
