Imbolc, Full Moon and a Glorious Free Gift for You.

How are you gorgeous one? How are you feeling?

I have just recovered from “the plague” that my housemate very kindly brought back from Utah and ran rampant through my home taking out everyone! Including my daughter who was here visiting for 2 weeks and her fabulous 4 month old baby. (Which made me uber, uber bitchy!)

So grumpy, fed up, tired and bitchy has been the energy of everyone for the last 10 days! Then to add insult to injury a major gas line was ruptured so we were without heat for 2 days! Thank goodness for a hot water bottle, a kettle and cups of tea.

So let’s explore the energies of this mid winter time, Imbolc and the Full Moon and I have a glorious free gift to support you at this time. If you read on, you will understand why I created her for you.

Interestingly enough, when working with seasonal energies this heavy, fed up, bitchy energy is right on cue for this time of year. Imbolc is on Wednesday and marks the spot of mid-winter.

The mid place between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. This time of year can feel rather heavy, grey and drab in many ways, but………

We had all the celebrations at the end of December and the start of January, and there is a sense of “now what?” Some are fretting about how they are going to realise the goals they set at New Year, others are still perking their path and others are just tired, bone tired!

However, we’re starting to notice the days are getting a bit longer, there might be some tiny little shoots beginning to sprout above the surface. Have to say, all of my snowdrops are out in full force, which makes me smile with their little white bobbing heads.

There is a sense of hope & anticipation, that new life will arrive soon. And, there’s also a heaviness to it.

Why?

At Imbolc, we’re beginning to really realise, something is shifting in our lives.

Imbolc itself means “quickening in the belly”. There is something shifting and changing.

We are beginning to root a bit more into this year of 2023 with its delicious 7 energy and we are expanding in some way. (Whether you can see it or not – can’t you feel it, though?) And there is a lot of resistance that comes with big expansion.

There’s a whole lot of forces (internal and external) that want to keep you small. It’s scary to level up in your life – and there are really strong parts of us that don’t like that.

But this is the work of winter: Winter is where you integrate all your experiences from last year & it alchemizes into new life, new growth, new parts of you that will emerge in the weeks & months ahead.

Right now there’s a stretching & growing happening deep within you. (Even if you can’t see it, it’s there!) And that can be deeply uncomfortable. Depending on the shifts you’re making in your life, the resistance can be intense.

And it creates a conflict within you. This is where the question arises: do you have the strength & the courage to push through that resistance, to whatever’s on the other side? Or do you give in & lean back on old ways of operating?

This is the challenge and invitation at Imbolc.

If things feel hard for you right now, trust it’s because you are EXPANDING. You’re doing big work in your life (even if you can’t see it, yet) and you’re going to feel resistance to that.

At Imbolc, this is when the seeds of your life are planted….

So remember to take sweet, gentle care of yourself right now. Nurture yourself, nourish your spirit. And REST, sweet one. Just rest. We are still in winter. This is your most important work.

During this time, we start to move past the goal-setting stage and into the realistic planning stages. How are you going to make your intentions come to fruition?

Direct your magical intentions on rituals this month focused on new habits, goals, and plans for the future.

Take some time to really focus and be present. Contemplate your personal and spiritual intentions. This is a truly magical time, full of beautiful energy and momentum! These are the days the Full Snow Moon rises.

So my darlings with Imbolc just around the corner and the glorious Full Moon to back it up, when I went to the cards I grinned a huge grin as the gorgeous guides of The Faery Forest Oracle were adamant to join! Let me be a reminder to be true to yourself, to your own personal truths, to the code within your soul. Truly, at this time it is essential for you to let your conscience be your guide, and to live according to your own creed, with open eyes. Do not fool yourself into believing another person’s vision and ideas are more important than your own – question agendas, and be aware of people’s history. For at this time, there is one about you who is attempting to persuade you to their cause, to join them in what they see is a great task, but which in truth is simply a harnessing of your power to their agenda, which is not for your highest good.

All tricksters are charming and know exactly what to say to persuade you – but this is mere language. Their deeds will not match their words, and what you are agreeing to by joining with them will be a loss of your own personal dreams for the furthering of theirs. If you allow yourself to be coerced, cajoled, and manipulated at this time, it will weigh heavily on your very soul.

People finally get found out, manipulators can be seen through, true costs of circumstances are revealed, and any lies about you will be seen. Okay delicious lovely, grab a cuppa as we have lots to cover this week!

We are talking about the energy of January, which is Acceptance and Discernment (and if you remember last week’s reading we explored the energy of 2023, which is a 7 year and invites you to step into your soul life and showing up as your true self).

We are also celebrating that Mars has gone direct and Mercury does near the end of this week as well! Whoot!

Then the fabulous icing on the cake is we welcome the first New Moon of 2023 and this delicious lovely New Moon is in Aquarius, and Chinese New Year is always at the first new moon of the year – so you may need to grab a biccie or two to dunk with your tea!

Let’s let talk about the energy of January and the best person to do it is Lena.

The themes for this month are: “ACCEPTANCE-DISCERNMENT”.

“We started the year with a neon sign telling us to SLOW DOWN.

Slow everything down, go inward, rest more, keep a “don’t know mind” about everything, reflect, feel, process, and align your heart with your mind.

Acceptance, one of the traits of the year, will be of great help in keeping frustration, impatience and irritability at bay. Resistance will only cause suffering and keep you from being fully present for the actual opportunities that a time like this has to offer.

The Discernment theme of the month will help in your choices of what to keep on your plate and what to push until later or discard completely. Once the energy shifts (around the new moon on the 21st) to a more active time, discernment will be crucial in your decisions about what to take on and move forward with and what no longer fits with who you are.”

Hold those pieces of Acceptance and Discernment in the back of your mind as we move onto the New Moon energy, okay?

Fresh energy flows from the cosmic skies under the Aquarius New Moon.

Arriving on January 21st, this New Moon is a gentle time to plant seeds, set intentions, and consider all you would like to draw close to you.

So let’s unpack this a tad, every moon has energy based on the sign that they are in and what type of moon they are. New Moon is a time of planting seeds and Aquarius has the energy of making this a very potent window for manifesting your highest vision for your future since Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, planet of future outcomes.

Aquarius calls upon us to develop our ideas so they don’t just remain pipe dreams.

However, this isn’t a push energy, there is a need to move with awareness, to be gentle with ourselves, and to ultimately, not put so much pressure on ourselves. (See how it ties in with the 7 energy of the year, and the January energy of Acceptance and Discernment?)

“Setting intentions and crafting goals can be beneficial to shift your life into greater alignment. It can fill you with a sense of purpose and bring meaning to your day-to-day life. Setting intentions and putting your wishes out to the Universe are great tools that can yield positive results, but there is a call under this New Moon to be gentle in your approach.”

Thus, if we look at the energy of this month and it’s all about acceptance and then work that with the energy of the New Moon. Woosah!

It’s as if we have received glorious seed packets from the cosmos. So we gently release a few seeds of desire, purpose, plenty and passion into our palm and give them the loving, gentle, nurturing that they need – and then watch what happens!

This Sunday, January 22nd is Chinese New Year, the Year of the Water Rabbit! (Also known as the Black Rabbit).

I don’t know about you but I love bunnies and rabbits, in fact we have so many wild bunnies frolicing around here it’s fabulous! It sometimes makes me feel that I am living in a Beatrix Potter story!

The rabbit symbolises patience, luck and hope. Which is perfect after a very tumultuous Year of the Tiger.

As you may or not be aware, I love to celebrate!

So Chinese New Year is a time of filling up little red envelopes with money and distributing them along with oranges! (Yes some of my neighbours may think I am totally bat shit crazy when I knock on their door with a red envelope and orange in hand). Red envelopes or hongbao in Mandarin and lai see in Cantonese, are a symbol of good luck and in Chinese culture the colour red is associated with energy, happiness and good luck.

Why the oranges? Two of the most common food symbols of the Chinese New Year are tangerines and oranges. Whereas tangerines represent wealth, oranges are a popular symbol of good luck. … Oranges and tangerines are a traditional favourite, though, and can also represent happiness and abundance, as in an abundant harvest.

So why not run around the neighbourhood gifting red envelopes and oranges?

We also prepare a gorgeous Chinese feast of amazing foods and spend time eating, laughing and playing games. As I have two Rabbits in my family, we are going to have fun!

So let me ask. Are you seeing how all the energies are melding?

Protection

“You are safe”. These words seem to emerge from the land and radiate from the trees to echo in your soul. You hear these words again and again. The Sacred Guardians of the Land are whispering to you, “You are safe.”

You know that you are protected and cared for. You can feel tendrils of their loving energy wrap around you and embrace you. Their unleashed power cocoons you in safety.

You are enough, just as you are. No matter what has happened or occurred in the past, the truth is that you are absolutely and unconditionally enough as you are.

Do not be concerned about outside forces and the judgments and expectations of others. You are protected in your own energy field. But do please remember to protect your energy. While the Guardians of the Land will help out, you must also be responsible for your own well-being.

Envision a protective shield around yourself and around your home. Spend time with people and in situations that uplift your energy rather than draining it.

BLUEBELL FAIRY

Gratitude

The early morning forest is shrouded in low lying mists. As you step into the meadow, you glimpse heavenly blue flowers seeming to float above the mist. Their deep colour draws you closer. Each bell-shaped blossom bows down on its stem, as if in prayer, humility; or gratitude.

Gratitude is the secret to a joy filled life. True thankfulness can work like modern day alchemy, yielding happiness and peace beyond imagination.

The Universe is grateful for you!

In addition to gratitude, bluebells are thought to symbolise humility. Bluebells open the door to magic. Legends describe “ringing” the bluebell, like you would a bell, in order to bring faeries to you. In the spring, bluebells grow throughout the woodlands in a lush carpet, and you can feel the magic by being near.

DRAGONFLY SPIRIT

Change

You watch the dragonfly whisk across the surface of the forest pond with elegance and grace. Her iridescent wings and body shine in a kaleidoscope of colours, depending on how the light falls on her. She hovers, flies backward, and even darts upside down with seeming delight.

It’s all right to change directions. It’s okay to change your mind. You do not need to be consistent at every turn.

This is the time to put the traditions and expectations of others aside. Instead, you are called to create your own traditions! You are free to express yourself and let your spirit fly.

Dragonflies are acrobats of the sky. Not only can they fly backward, they fly upside down and turn 360 degrees….and while looking graceful as they do so. Dragonfly Spirit urges you to take on her same fearless daring.

Go beyond predictable behaviour. Just because something has always been done a certain way doesn’t mean that it needs to continue to be done that way. While you can’t control the exact circumstances of your life, you can control what meaning you give to them.

Select meanings that empower you, for this is the time to be carefree, wild, and unpredictable.

Dragonflies are ancient, taking to the skies 300 – 350 million years ago. They have adapted through millennia and thus survived when many creatures have not. These masters of change are a reminder that change will heal you.

Be willing to change your perspective, and glorious fortune will follow. Sometimes you need to back up to go forward. As people get older, they find it harder to change, so to activate youthfulness, be willing to make changes without hesitation.

How are you most delicious lovely? It feels like we haven’t connected for ages, but in reflection it has only been a few weeks! I had such great plans of taking a few weeks of winter hibernation to relax, play, create – however, I obviously didn’t phrase it correctly as I kept saying “I want two weeks off to sleep, read and do nothing.” So the Divine, with their gorgeous sense of humour gave me an upper respiratory thing that kicked my arse!

Remember kids – words have power. Intentions have even more power!

Welcome to January 2023. I don’t know about you but the first week of January has felt a month long!

I will say that this Gregorian Calendar of “It’s a New Year ” puts a lot of expectations on people, and they are normally negative ones. Which thoroughly irritates me, as it is something that is pushed in the media, magazines, our collective culture.

If someone else asks me what my resolutions are I may bop them on the nose – as I don’t believe in them!

To me, resolutions are made because – “everyone does this”, we should all make resolutions as it’s a New Year. Mmmmmm, having done them for years (because that was expected), they are normally based on fixing something about oneself or not feeling enough.

An example. As someone who used to go to the gym daily, I would see people flood in at the beginning of January with the resolution of “I have to get fit and buff”. Mmmm, okay. By early February you never saw them again.

Why?

Because the intention wasn’t based on the energies that are in play, nor in how they wanted to feel.

So let’s look at 2023. In Numerology this coming year is a 7 year.

7 is the number of soul searching and really connecting our higher self to our earthly plane.

It’s the year for tuning into your soul, your heart, your wise inner self and tuning out the noise of the world.

This year will be rich in spiritual lessons and change will be immense (we have Saturn, Jupiter and most importantly – Pluto moving!) And as the saying goes – when Pluto changes signs, all sorts of things change.

So this is where the invitation for you is to really tune in, revise, re-vision and re-think (or re-feel) into what is in your best and highest good.

The words that come up strongly are: Resonate, Discern and Align.

So ask yourself these questions:

What does your soul want you to share with you?

What would it feel like to move in the world from a place of ease, alignment and to really thrive?

How do you want to make your mark in the world?

Last but not least, How do you want to live?

(So there is some musing for you to play with!)

Okay, enough chuntering – let’s crack on with the reading. The cards that flew out and at me this week are the amazing Divine Circus Oracle, which made me laugh my soxs off – as the world does feel like that right now, circus like.

You are being empowered to overcome all odds. So you are going to win. No doubts, no dramas, but not necessarily in a way that you expect either! She is sending the best possible situation to you even now. It might startle you, like a sudden light in the middle of the night, but it will be welcome nonetheless.

The Joker is the highest trump card to beat all others. No matter how much another may seem to have the upper hand, or how many forces seem to be against you, even if you feel like a lone wolf about to be mauled by a pack of hungry lions, the Joker always wins. She comes out of the blue, and changes destiny from darkness to light. She brings the brilliant solution that ends a problem, the way through that is best and brightest.

You probably won’t see it coming. It will probably be in a way that subverts everything you once believed to be true. But it will be a welcome trick by the Universe, a loving joke that opens your heart and helps you realise that this vast impersonal universe personally knows and cares for you, so intimately and with such meticulous care. Just don’t expect to feel in control of the process, for the Joker is wild and moves according to her own genius, but always blesses you with what will work best, beyond compare, now and always.

RED COUNTESS

Deep within, you know what is true and what to do (or not do). Yet there is so much noise and distraction in the world, and even at times in our own minds, that listening for our inner wisdom can seem like trying to hear gentle birdsong in the midst of a rock concert. Even so, you are hearing an inner truth, and deep down, you know it.

Can you trust that it is safe to not only hear your inner voice but act on it too?

There is something that you know. You’ve felt, sensed, heard or realised this truth more than once. Even if others see or feel differently, you just know what you know, even if you don’t quite know how you know it!

Give your truths value. Hold your feelings and insights in high enough esteem to pay attention to them, to give yourself time to process what you think, feel and sense. Know that they’re worth acting on, even if that action just means to trust more and stop worrying.

If you cannot figure out what your inner truths are, or you feel confused by conflicting thoughts and feelings, torn between head and heart, then you are in a state of information overload. You need to switch off, discharge some excess mental and emotional energy and take a break.

Give yourself some time out from the crazy noise and constant distractions of the world so you can get in touch with what is true for you.

SILVER SIREN

When is an enchantment not enchanting? When it is a spell that you allow to consume your free will, even as it promises so much and yet delivers so little. The Silver Siren sings her song, a pretty poison to the soul. Her false allure tempts the mind, even whilst the heart feels that something is not quite right.

Your power will come from discerning the truth and allowing her false promises no place in your heart.

If you compromise your integrity you will find that what you have obtained was not worth the price you paid for it, no matter how much you believed it would be otherwise. It simply will not be worthwhile.

The Silver Siren is a false light that is so very enticing but so destroying. To disempower the false light, you must stay true to what your heart says. No matter how much you may fear you’ll regret it later on, simply say no to that which is unworthy, to that which does not hold the truth of love within. Even if a person declares that they are utterly enlightened and only interested in your highest good; even if the opportunity at hand is “too good to miss”, making your mind needy and confused, follow your heart – if it’s not a Hell Yes, it’s a NO!

You are being given an opportunity for empowerment. It is time to trust yourself and stand firm with your truths, and to experience the priceless sense of love, safety, security, peace and self-possession that this brings. With this, your soul can sing its own song, a song that shares true light, the lightness of a heart that lives in peaceful truth with the world.

Hello delicious lovely! How are you? I am sooooo looking forward to Solstice and I have two Solstice gifts for you, which you will discover as you read and I want to wish you an amazing holiday season – however you celebrate and to say thank you. Thank you for being here, thank you for all your lovely emails and messages. Thank you for being you and sharing with me.

Solstice arrives on Wednesday the 21st and I am thrilled, as not only is it Solstice, it’s my youngests birthday!

But what does the energy of Solstice bring to you?

At the Winter Solstice, when the world appears to stand still, it can serve as a moment out of time, an opportunity to reconnect with our own souls once again.

I found a beautiful quote years ago that really epitomises this energy.

“As the nights get longer, I find myself whispering dreams and knowings, letting them surface in the gentle dark. Things which can’t yet bear the light of day can find their way to the surface of my being where I can begin the tentative work of exploring and holding and breathing them in.”

There’s a very special stillness about the season we are entering. Even though everything appears dead & frozen in the outside world, a new cycle is beginning. You can sense there is magic brewing deep down in the dark.

Winter is like being in the chrysalis stage in the evolution of the butterfly. It’s the time when the caterpillar is wrapped up quietly, in the dark of her cocoon. To the outside world it doesn’t look like anything is happening. (And this is one of the most challenging things about embracing rest: to the outside world it doesn’t look like anything is happening. Our brains scream at us, telling us “you’re not doing anything. You’re wasting your time.”)

But actually, deep in the dark, a quiet transformation is happening: the caterpillar is evolving into a magnificent butterfly.

This is the same transformation your spirit, and all of nature, is undergoing this season. To the outside world life is still & quiet, there’s no movement. You don’t see anything meaningful happening.

But in the darkness, hidden deep inside, a powerful transformation is occurring. You are evolving into a whole new place in your life.

It’s a time of Dreaming.

Dreaming up the dreams of everything that will grow in your life this year. Dreaming up new plans, new ideas, new ways of being that will blossom & grow, and become bountiful harvests in the year ahead. The dreams of everything to come this year are being sparked in your winter’s rest.

Winter is the season when things are revealed by turning deep within yourself. Embracing the quiet & the darkness – recognizing that you don’t need to do anything for the magic to unfold.

This is the season of receiving.

A BLESSING FOR PEACE OF MIND

A blessing to help soothe the mind at storm with itself, and bring about calm and peace once again.

When you awaken, and trouble is sitting there, with you, right on your shoulder, speaking to you of all you must fret and be fearful of, let this blessing come to you, and be felt truly in your mind, where the turbulence has reigned for too long now.

Let the quiet of the natural day steal in, let the soft call of your spirit whisper to you that you have worried too long, and that it is time to set down your burden and let the angels and spirit beings deal with what cannot be unravelled by the labyrinth of thought.

Let it go, and let it be, for it is not for you to do what others will not, cannot, or remain ignorant of. It is for you now, to care for you. Let peace, that quiet blessing, softly take up residence in your mind, and speak calming words to you, soothing every objection your mind at war with the world creates.

Let the nurturing of the Mother, the planet herself, who loves you so and cares so much for you, take hold, and take root within your mind. Let yourself do only what must be done this day, and be very kind and very gentle all this time with yourself.

Speak softly, remove yourself from anything that provokes the disquiet unnecessarily, and calm yourself through the taking of moments to soothe yourself. Let your mind release, one by one, those terrible thoughts that have tortured you. Let your body relax, and move, and in the movement free yourself from the stress and tension. Let the idea of being at war with the world, isolated and alone, go, and for a time, seek out only those who show kindness and sensitivity to you.

Be patient with yourself, and in this patience, let the blessing of deep peace be yours.

A BLESSING TO FIND YOUR WAY

A blessing for when we find ourselves lost and unsure of which way to go.

Whichever direction we turn in seems as dense and dark as the other. There is no one to show us the way. There is no light with which to see the path. There is no map for where you find yourself. When we find ourselves in that space where we are utterly bereft of where to turn, of what to do, of whom to trust, let this blessing help you find your way once again.

You once knew where you were headed. You once knew who you were. You once could trust in that inner compass that would help you turn and walk to the true north of your life.

May you surrender to this moment, and let yourself be still and quiet a while. May you seek not to move, but to observe, and to feel, and to come back into connection with yourself.

May you feel the reweaving of yourself with yourself, and as you do this, may you be blessed with the sight to pierce the darkness and see what lies ahead. When that moment comes, may you begin to feel your compass stir, and turn, and point to a path. May you begin to rediscover who you are, and in that rediscovery come a knowing of what the person you are must do next.

May a sense of relaxed and graceful certainty begin to deliver you from this period of vulnerability, yet let the gifts of understanding and compassion, of the inner knowing which can unite us all, be with you always.

Allow your core to speak to you again. For its voice was dulled by the noise of the world, and the apparent certainty of knowing who we are. When we lose that, we can finally have the moment in which we can see the soul, clearly, without bias and cliche.

We find ourselves, through the loss of who we thought we were, and where we thought we ought to go. May this process bring the re-enrichment blessing of your own self.

A BLESSING OF THE EARTH

A blessing for connection with the land, for strong bodies and bones, for blood that flows bright red with energy, for grain to harvest and good food upon your table.

May you be blessed by the element of earth. May your body possess vigour and vitality, and may you feel the natural world alive within your own skin and bones. May your home grow up out of the earth and be solid upon it, and may the land upon which it rests offer its energy of solidity, strength and endurance to you for many years to come.

May the food upon your table overflow with nwyfre – the vital force of all things that truly have life-force, and may you share this food with those who bring to you great joy in being alive in this form this lifetime.

May your eyes shine and see, your legs walk straight upon the earth, and your feet go softly upon the path you tread.

May all the beauty and wildness and strength of Nature find expression through your life and your connection to the earth, and may the great mother of us all, the land, from whom you born and to whose womb you will return, offer you nourishment and strength all the days of this life.

May the ancestors within the earth send forth their wisdom to you, guide you, comfort you and encircle you with your soul family in times of trouble. When times are good, remember them, for they have been with you always.

May you feel the love of the earth, may you feel its protection, its nourishment, its comfort and finally, when you rest again within her arms, may she rebirth you gently into the next lifetime, ready to enjoy her pleasures more deeply.

What does Peace Smell Like? Winter Solstice is coming! And The Book of Winter Solstice is here!

How are you delicious lovely? Quite a few of you have asked how long the “Opening the Door on 2023” personal theme reading will be available. Good question. The spots will be open until Solstice, thus, December 21st.

The Book of Winter Solstice is ready and I love her. She is 59 pages of wonderment, rich with rituals, lore, stories, magick and amazing ways to honour this deep and rich celebration.

But let me ask, how was the last week and the full moon energy for you? Did you take some time to perk the energy of this month and think about the things that Inspire you?

I ask because many of you emailed and messaged saying you felt soooooooo out of sorts and I think a few of you used the word “fucked”. As it felt a tad overwhelming. I can totally relate! My energy last week was all over the map, from panic, to anger, to anxiety, to fear, to needing to just be on my own to wanting to be sort of around others. It was bizarre! And then I took time on the evening of the full moon to immerse myself in the forgiveness ritual that nourished my soul and reset the energy, and the sense of Peace that came flooding in was Divine!

Which got me thinking about Peace. What does that word really mean? In a fabulous kids book written by Vladimir Radunsky he asks kids aged 8 – 10 from all around the world What Does Peace Feel Like? Here are some of their amazing answers.

What does peace smell like?

Like a bouquet of flowers in a happy family’s living room, like pizza with onions and sausage that just came out of the oven…

What does peace look like?

Like a cat and a dog curled up together in a basket, like new babies just born yesterday…

What does peace sound like?

Like a silent day, like raindrops falling, like no bad words…

What does peace taste like?

Like vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream, like sweet, like your favourite food times two…

What does peace feel like?

Like hugs your friends give you when you cry, like someone stroking your back; you shiver a little, but it’s a wonderful feeling…

Kids are so honest and smart!

If you make an advent wreath at all, last week’s candle was the candle of Hope and the Stones and the Bones. Yesterday was the lighting of the candle of Peace and the Plants. The Roots, stem, leaf, flower, and fruit by whom we live and grow.

I love the awareness this light invites, the awareness of the food we eat, the plants that heal us, the plantscape in Nature that nurtures us and soothes our souls.

And this delicious energy of Peace so beautifully ties into the Winter Solstice which is rapidly approaching!

I have to admit I love, love, love Solstice – to me it’s that perfect balance point and the start of something new and exciting, filled with potential and possibilities and I can feel the energy of it for a few weeks before it even arrives.

There is a sensation of reflection, going inwards and questioning that arrives naturally from this energy. To me this is a time where I notice those “meh” moments more and really examine my life and ask the question “Am I showing up and embodying what I am called to do?”

That’s why, to me, I feel it’s vital to take some time out to honour this energy and work with it which in turn allows me to feel aligned. In fact I feel more balanced, connected and inspired after I have taken some time.

As the days get shorter in December, we force ourselves to get through the darkness. Now is a good season for spiritual alchemy — time to evaluate your life, and know that you’ll survive the dark times.

As we leave the season of late Autumn we enter the season of Winter which is brought in by Solstice (Yule). This is where we are invited to the downward spiral, the slow descent as water returns to Earth, emotion (water) coming into form (earth). The energy is descending and the light is low—this is the most inward, the most yin part of the year. Yet this is the time of year where we have the most Yang activities!

However, you can’t fool your body. When you really are tuned into your body and listen to the messages, your body often tells you things before anything or anyone else does. It wants to relax, rest, rejuvenate, replenish, create and imagine.

It wants to embrace Peace and Hope fully!

So let me ask again – what does Peace mean to you and how can you walk with it into the darkness of Solstice? (And if you need a hand I highly recommend BOWS – Book of Winter Solstice.)

Okay, with all that being said (sometimes I do chunter on!), let’s crack on with the reading. When I went to the cards to ask who wanted to support and guide this week I was delighted to see that the White Light Oracle were super keen. Now, if these guides are new to you please let me introduce you to them.

Let us guide you into the luminous realm of the sacred. The sacred is your heart treasure. It is that which brings light into your life. The sacred is precious to you. It matters enough that you are willing to devote yourself to it – even when that requires courage, sacrifice and growth. The sacred generates inner warmth. It brings you joy. The sacred is a healing mirror that shows you the truth of your experience, which can include a compassionate reflection of your own suffering. It shows you how to heal. It inspires and protects you. What is sacred for your heart is unique to you. Yet, for every heart, the sacred is an experience of sublime love and deep meaning. The sacred helps us remember who we are and shows us how to manifest our inner purpose.

Oh gosh yes, we certainly need to work within the sacred and with our strong rebellious hearts at this time!

Okay gorgeous one, settle into your body, breathe yourself back. As you gently slow down your breathing I invite you to bring up the sensation of Peace (whatever that means to you) and allow it to swirl in your mind’s eye. Eschew complicated explanations, as you seek the simplicity of the deepest truth of your heart. Gently but firmly cast aside that which does not resonate as being true for your heart. Focus upon, and speak from, a higher spiritual perspective. All prayers are answered at the perfect time and in the perfect way. You have a powerful voice, which can foster healing wisdom on our planet.

Bath Kol is a mysterious creature. She is an angel known as the divine oracle, the daughter of the divine voice, the pure and true sound of spirit. When she whispers to your heart, you feel it as an inner knowing, a truth. To honour that inner knowing likely requires the confrontation of fear or moving in unexpected directions. Even so, the deep resonance of her truth is more powerful than the resistance we may initially feel as we let go of our limited perspectives and allow ourselves to be guided by Spirit.

Often an inner spiritual call requires a leap of faith. A more authentic, awakened you is coming to life. Paving the way for the higher self to manifest typically means that fear and control based approaches need to be surrendered. Honouring Bath Kols guidance requires courage but brings rich reward on many levels.

Acknowledge your true voice. This may be the voice in your own heart which needs to be heard without judgement or censorship. It may be an intuitive inner knowing to be recognised. It may be a loving and helpful voice of a reliable guide or friend whom you know can be trusted. It may be a teaching from a dream or an insight from a meditation, or even an inkling that certain happenings or sightings are signs from the Universe to help you on your life path.

Practise your power of discernment. Filter ego from heart. If a point of view lowers your vibration, makes you feel negatively about yourself or another, increases your confusion or makes matters seem more complicated, it is likely to be an ego-driven viewpoint. To consider what you might be able to learn from that viewpoint, you need to settle yourself on more authentic spiritual ground.

Out of confusion, a clear and progressive pathway is opening up for you. It is an auspicious time to give generously of yourself to others, enriching the quality of your connections, expressing spiritual blessings of goodwill and encouragement from your heart. A powerful blessing is entering your world. A prayer is now being answered ina beautiful way. Spirit gives freely and generously of all the goods things, and the task of humanity is to learn how to receive. The key to receiving is an open, surrendered, generous and trusting heart.

The Holy Grail is the sacred chalice. It is a powerful, living, regenerative and deeply healing symbol of hope and blessing. It will interact with each soul in its own way. For your soul, that may involve a recognition that the light is always seeking you, wanting to fill and heal and bless and protect you, to initiate you into awareness of the realms of light, beauty and divine presence.

It may remind your heart to receive, that you are capable of being a channel for goodness, grace, abundance and pure light. It may be recognised as a sign of a future blessing, of something truly desired finally coming to pass.

The sacred grail is hope; it is a blessing. It is both a portent of fulfilment and the inner means by which we connect with the loving language of light and truly receive. In Sanskrit, patra means ‘goblet’ or ‘vessel.’ In learning how to receive, we also learn how to be received, how to be fully beheld, which is an expression of unconditional love. The sacred chalice reminds us of our potential to hold, but also for the generosity of the Universe in providing for us so we, too, can be held and receive all we need.

Dvara is Sanskrit for a pathway, an opening or portal, a doorway or even a means or method. Your deepest fulfilment is via the receptive faculty of the sacred feminine. The feminine way is organic, creative, responsive, spontaneous and effective. It is not constrained by our human perceptions of what is or is not possible. To honour and empower the sacred feminine genius in our lives requires a considerable shift away from mainstream, conditioning and into spiritual surrender. Allowing her method, rather than blocking her loving creativity in our lives, entails the movement from head to heart.

As you invert your priorities from ego to soul, you’ll invert your locus of orientation from head to heart, from outer to inner reality. You will trust what your heart knows, whether or not it makes sense to your logical mind – or to anyone else’s for that matter.

Changes in your life, including closing doors or missed opportunities are not going to derail your fulfilment. Realignments are happening based on divine wisdom and timing. My darling you are on a powerful healing journey to connect body, mind and soul with the truth of your spiritual nature. You are working at an inner level to let go of past pains and open up to your empowerment and grace, dignity and legitimacy in the present moment. There is a spiritual approach to heal any and all struggles in your life.

If you feel disoriented or conflicted about a choice, trust that this chaos is a consequence of a cosmic realignment with your life path. Move through it with trust in your heart, patience and a willingness to keep the faith, knowing you will eventually find your way. The adjustments taking place within you will affect your outer world. Just like the tumultuous alchemical journey of the caterpillar transforming into a butterfly, your inner transformation shall shape you and your world into the beautiful, inspired, and authentic form it is meant to be.
