How Are Your Boundaries and Bandwidth on this Full Moon?

Happy Moon filled, Marvellous, Magnetic, Meritorious, Manifesting Monday!

Interestingly enough I wasn’t going to do a reading this week, but my guides (or posse as I call them were super frigging clear – they needed to talk, they needed to talk about bandwidth, boundaries, self worth and so much more – so here we are.)

But first let me say thank you for all the wishes, love and healing vibes – my ribs are slowly mending and I am feeling more like myself! Now here’s a question for you……

Let me ask, on this Gemini Beaver Full Moon, how is your bandwidth? 

This post may be triggering for some people and I can appreciate that and it may piss some people off and I can appreciate that.  Always remember, how you react is your choice.  

Now what do I mean by that word “bandwidth” exactly?

Bandwidth is the measurement of your emotional, mental, spiritual and physical energy that you have available for you.  

Here’s a really easy mathematical example to help you with this concept. (A concept I learned about 20 years ago when working with Caroline Myss). 

You wake up every morning and you have $100 worth of energy to spend in your day.  

As you stumble out of bed and into the shower, you run through your to-do list and your shoulders drop as there are some people you don’t want to interact with – but you need to.  There goes $25.00 of your energy.

As you make your coffee, you turn on the tv and the news is blaring.  Hundreds of people are dying in the war between Israel and Gazza.  Women and children are being killed, hospitals are being bombed – your mind immediately grabs onto that and starts trying to make sense.  And disappears down a rabbit hole, there goes another $40.00 of your energy budget.

As you move through your day and encounter people (who too have limited bandwidth) and are sharp, not listening, don’t even see you.  There goes another $35.00 of your energy budget.

So guess what?  You have just spent your energy budget on the past, the rabbit holes and trauma.  (Harsh I know). 

Now, if you are an empath without healthy boundaries you are going to absorb and not observe, and therefore your energy will get sucked dry at a rapid rate.  But I can 90% guarantee that you will still try to show up.

“If you’re feeling like you’re on your last nerve, like you can’t understand people, or why they’re not hearing you, or even why they are not following simple instructions…Instead, they are misinterpreting, forgetting, dumping on you, unable to hold you as a whole person, are not tracking you… whatever shortcoming it is you’re experiencing right now, please bear in mind that it’s really not personal: People just do not have it right now.”

They do not have capacity for whatever it is you need.

Do you need them to hear your actual words and not assign ill intent to them? They can’t do that right now. 

Do you need them to speak to you using different words, tone, or inflection? They can’t do that. They do not have it in them right now.

Look around at the world. Read the room. 

They are beyond capacity. They are running on fumes. (As are you some days.)

They do not have the ability to bring their whole best self to an interaction right now. They are a trauma response waiting to happen.

This is where self attachment (knowing who you are, what you need, your values and having healthy boundaries is vital!)

This is where practising self care techniques, havening, vagus nerve soothing, and taking supplements is important.  

This is where you need to be really connected to your self-worth and your values right now. 

If I were to ask you what your top 3 core values are right now, would you know?  Could you describe them in depth?  Do they wend through all areas of your life?

You have to have a clear line on your moral compass. You have to know what’s the most important thing to you. And do it!  

As that old saying goes “If you don’t fill your own well, there is nothing.”

Give yourself a fucking break!  Invite Grace into your day.  

Tie that into the Gemini/Beaver Full Moon energy and wowzer.  

“We have almost reached the end of the calendar year and under the November Full Moon, we may begin feeling that it’s time to release and let go of any heaviness 2023 has brought our way.

While we still have one more Full Moon to go in December, the Gemini Full Moon on November 27, guides us to begin thinking about what we wish to cleanse and what we wish to purge.

What do we no longer want to carry in 2024? What has become too heavy and too burdensome? What has been taking up far too much of our resources?

It’s time to start thinking about letting the heavy things go. It’s time to start clearing our plates so we can move through 2024 with more alignment, grace, and ease.

Use this November Full Moon to start assessing what is too heavy to hold and what you wish to be free of come the new year. Set your intentions and put them out to the Universe under the Full Moon. Allow them to be carried by the powerful cleansing energies that the Full Moon brings.”

So please darling one, if you take away anything from this writing.  Bandwidth, boundaries and releasing the yes’s that should be no’s.

MOON SECRETS

Cycles

Life is all about cycles.  Creation depends on cycles.  The cycles that create life on Earth are meshed with those that create and run the Universe.

We are all aware of the moon’s cycles and the effects that they have upon life on Earth.  

From our ties to our reproductive cycles, the moon has a great influence upon our lives.  

For certain, the Universe also has many other cycles that influence us.  Everything in existence is cyclic in one form or another or it could not exist.  Cycles bring order to the Universe and to our lives.

There is a season for everything.  Everything must happen in its own time.

A cycle forms a circle, which symbolises continuance of cosmic energy flow.  The energy that animates each of us is never ending.  It was in the beginning and will ever be.  It can change forms but it cannot be destroyed. 

Learn to know the cycles that affect you.  Sense them.  Pay attention and notice all the cycles around you in your life.

The seed that sprouts and grows has a cycle.  Day and night are cyclic.  You breathe in and you breathe out.  

What all these cycles tell you is that there is order in the Universe and there is order in your life.

You just have to acknowledge the order and flow with it.  Don’t fight it.

Know that when you relax into life, things begin to work more smoothly as you are no longer fighting against the universal energy patterns, but moving within them.

Surprise

Faeries love good surprises.  

However, when they are faced with a  surprise that isn’t quite what they asked for, they pout.  Pouring soon turns to a smile and laughter as they realise that everything comes with its own gift.  

They always look until they find the gift.  

If life gives you something that you aren’t completely thrilled with, keep an open mind.  Often the best things come disguised.  Look below the surface and see what a person or situation holds for you.  Do not be quick to judge new people.  Not everything is revealed on the spot.  

Connect with the person and work to understand where they are coming from.  Their experience is different from yours.  So take the time to see what makes them tick and what they have to offer.  They are just as important as you are.

Do the same with situations….understand that what appears to be the case may not be the truth at all.

WATER ELEMENT

Flow

Water is the elixir of life on Earth.  

It is also a symbol for the astral fluid (or Universal Energy) that permeates all things.   Water deserves our respect and gratitude since without it there is no life.  

Water element is also associated with the divine feminine.  It is about love, fertility, emotion and is also associated with the subconscious mind.

Water has no fixed state, it is in a constant state of flux.  How does water show up in your life?

Do you squander it?  Are you aware of it?  How are your emotions?  Are they tumultuous or on an even keel?

It is totally natural for emotions to fluctuate, but if they are peaking and troughing, ask this glorious Water Element Fairy to help you keep them in balance.

Remembering and Stepping into the Portal of 11:11 energy!

Hello delicious lovely!!  Happy Magnificent, Magickal, Manifesting, Majestic, Mesmerising, Mysterious, Memorable Monday!  How are you on this glorious day?

Grab yourself a lovely cuppa as we have lots to cover this week such as Remembrance Day and working with the powerful 11:11 energy!  Whoot!  Are you ready?

This Saturday (November 11th) is Remembrance Day, also known as Armistice Day.  It marks the day World War One ended at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918! 105 years ago!!!

So, the other day I was in a grocery line up, with my butternut squash, daikon and halloumi (won’t that make an interesting meal), and I was wearing a Poppy for Remembrance Day – in fact this year I have bought 3 as I keep losing them or they drop off.  As I’m waiting in line for my turn the chap behind me started a rather odd debate with me about the wearing of a Poppy.   He shared that he refused to wear one as it was a symbol of death to which I totally, 100% disagree.  

The Poppy to me is a symbol of Remembering those who bravely went to fight for our freedoms and well being.  It is also a symbol of Hope, hope for our troops that are still deployed all over the world and Hope for a time of Peace.   As someone who was in the Military reserves and a reserve police officer, and also having friends who were or still are in the military, let alone a father who was and a grandfather, I feel very strongly about the respect and honour that is due to those sacrifices and those that are still away from home.  

Personally, I think it is important to focus on those types of events, the ones that inspire Hope and Peace, and don’t get me wrong, there are all sorts of horrendous wars being waged all over the world.  But drop back into that space of Armistice, Hope and Peace – it is sooooo possible on every level in this world (at least that is my belief).

Thus on Remembrance day we have the potent energy of 11:11.  Great Jen, what does that mean for me (you may be asking)?

This day holds the number code of 1111, which is a power number in astrology and also an angel number.

If there is something you want to manifest or a wish you want to make, this is the day to set your intentions!

1111 heightens our ability to create and to leave an imprint on the tapestry that is all of life. It also indicates that we are in complete harmony and alignment with all of nature. 

From this state of alignment, it becomes easier for us to feel grounded and connected to our life here on Earth, but also to the magic and wisdom of higher realms.

Close your eyes and remember the last time that you set an intention. Did you feel doubtful that your wish would come true, or did you have faith that the universe was listening, ready to help you bring your vision to life? 

11/11 is one of the most powerful days of the year for manifestation – a day when we’re reminded that our guides are always with us, supporting us on the path to our deepest dreams. 

There’s a reason why we’re told to make a wish whenever we see 11:11 on the clock. 11 is a master number, and its frequency speeds up manifestation, opening up channels through which angelic beings can send their wisdom and support.

“The number 11 grants us access to the 5th dimension, where the constraints of time and space do not exist. On 11/11, we experience 5D energy in the form of synchronicity, alignment, and acceleration. You might experience that “right place, right time” feeling – the reassurance that you’re on the right path, and everything you’re seeking is seeking you in return.”

The Law of Attraction, based on the Hermetic Principles, teaches us that everything we manifest is created by thought: Where your attention goes, energy flows. Every second, you’re thinking things into existence – so on this day, pay attention to where your thoughts tend to wander. 

Are you focused on bright and positive outcomes, or are you subconsciously manifesting your worries and fears?

Work with the energy of 11/11 to positively channel your thoughts in service of your highest path. I recommend meditating at 11:11 am or 11:11 pm to best harness the magic. 

Set aside 11 minutes to close your eyes and go within, visualizing what you desire and how it would feel if you’d already received it.  Yes?

Another simple way to harness this energy is to free flow and write for 11 minutes about all your heart’s desires and intentions.  At the end of the 11 minutes, go back and highlight the words that inspire you, make you feel hopeful, excited and then formulate them into an intention.

So gorgeous bean, take some time on Saturday to Remember.  To fill yourself with Hope and Peace and play in the 5th dimension and really visualise what you desire.  Okay?

When I asked my guides how they wanted to share with you this week I was tickled to see that they picked the wonderful Sacred Destiny Oracle, who have been rather shy about doing public readings, but this week they were 100% on board.

Thus, I invite you to slow down for a few minutes.  Just breathe yourself back into your body and the here and now.  Let your breathing slow down, your jaw soften and a sense of Hope, Remembering and Peace fill your mind’s eye.  Gently swirling and soothing  you.  Then, when you are ready, pick the card or cards that whisper to you.

FLOW

A meandering river is a waterway that curves, bends, turns, and seems to swing side to side as it flows forward.  Viewed from above it looks sinuous and even snakelike.  Meandering rivers are dynamic as they wind their way across valley floors and bring life-giving sediment to new habitats.

The word meander was derived from the ancient Meander River, which flows into the Aegean Sea.  The Greeks created symbols for “meander” that have been described as some of the most important symbols for ancient Greek culture; they represented the fluid movement of water and the eternal flow of all life.  The twisting patterns were also thought to represent the serpent which was the symbol of healing, hence our present day symbol for doctors is the caduceus.

What does this sacred landscape want you to know?

There are times to hold on tight to the shore, and there are times to enter the flow.  Notice where life is going and move in that direction,  Watch for signs and follow them.  Don’t resist.

When you go with the flow, your life-force expands and healing on all levels abounds.  

This is also the time to release old, limiting patterns, forgive, and let go of the need to be right about your beliefs.  If you aren’t feeling the smooth currents of life, it might mean that you’re being self-critical and judgmental.  

When you enter the flow with gratitude and love, you will find blessings surrounding you.  You will enter into a state of grace, and healing will abound.  

ENLIGHTENMENT

Our beautiful home galaxy is so large that if you traveled at the speed of light, it would take you 100,000 years to go from one end to the other. (It is small compared to some galaxies – for example, the Hercules A galaxy would take 1.5 million years to cross at the speed of light.)

The realm of galaxies is so vast and so wide that it is beyond human comprehension, which is why the galaxy often symbolises great enlightenment as well a faith in the forces much greater than us.

So what does this sacred landscape want you to know?

Enlightenment occurs when one steps out of the confines of an ordinary definition of self and expands into a greater awareness of the self within the Universe.  You are now reaching into the invisible realm of Spirit and connecting with what  you cannot see.  Forces beneath the surface are supporting you on your journey.  

Have FAITH in yourself!  You are so much more than you believe yourself to be. Have patience that there is a plan unfolding.  The sky’s the limit!  You are entering into a time of expansive transformation in a luminous and remarkable way.  

Trust that the changes ahead are for the greater good, for most certainly they are.  And if you ever doubt, step outside and let the stars remind you!

SECURITY

In ancient times, our forebears took refuge in caves.  It was there that they could seek shelter from the weather and be protected from predators and enemies.  The cave offered a safe place to prepare food, sleep, heal, and build community.

Caves were also the places where sacred spiritual ceremonies occurred, evidenced by cave drawings and altars that had been built along the ledges.  Symbolically, caves often represented a secret pathway to the underworld, the divine womb of Mother Earth, and the sacred heart.  Also, caves can be energy portals for shamans or other spiritual explorers.  

What does this Sacred Landscape have to share with you?

You are safe and protected.  No matter what is occurring in your life, you are in safe hands.  Those in the realm of Spirit are watching over you.  You can relax and let go.

Once you’ve taken measures to protect  yourself and those you love – such as making sure everyone has their seat belt on in the car, making  sure your insurance is paid on time, or replacing the filter on your heating unit – then let it go!

If you have been hypervigilant lately, take a break.  Relax; know that all is well  You can turn it all over to the Creator.  And when you forget, breathe into the warm, welcoming cave that is held in your heart!

Samhain, a Time to Dance in the Liminal and Talk With Your Ancestors.

How has the Eclipse energy been treating you?  

We had the Taurus Blood Moon eclipse on Saturday and so many people were reaching out saying “this is tough, WTF!”

Okay, let me give you some Coles Notes on this Eclipse as it ties in with Samhain (which is tomorrow!)  Yes, this was a Taurus Full Moon Eclipse, but it’s on the axis of Taurus and Scorpio.

Scorpio is stagnation energy, shadow work and this whole eclipse is inviting you to purge, purify, detox and slow the fuck down.  Pay attention to what’s being revealed or you will miss the magic.  

Shadow work is where the gifts are and most of us spend 60% of our energy keeping the trapdoor closed on any “shadow work” as we perceive it as negative.  It’s not! 

This is the time of Shadow work, Ancestral Work, Womb Work, a deepening in and an inward journey.  Just saying.  It’s also the time to work with the gorgeous archetype of Hekate as she sits at the crossroads.  

We had a glorious gathering in Creatrix Circle yesterday to walk into the energy of Samhain, invited in Hekate and the Ancestors.  

With Samhain happening tomorrow you need to understand (or not).

We are beckoned to connect more deeply with our inner worlds and the ancestral realms.

The ancestors are near.

The ancient ones are communing with us in long-forgotten tongues.

They are speaking through the fire—through the crackle of wood, the dance of smoke, the burning of herbs.

They are helping us to remember who we truly are and the ancestral medicine we hold.

The elements are our ancestors, too, holding us in the eternal memory of what it means to be children of the earth.

If you have a loved one that has crossed over, on Samhain night say a special prayer, or do something to remind you of them. Eat their favourite food, or light a candle in their name.

And beyond reaching out to passed loved ones, make time to acknowledge the “deaths” both great and small in your life. There are so many things that have “died” this year, so honour the ones that matter most to you, even if they are a little painful.

Look to nature for guidance, as it is always showing us how it dies and rebirths itself again and again. 

What if on Samhain you chose to release stuffing your shadows and really embrace, love and trust all the different parts of you that work together as you live your most creative, honest and beautiful life?

What if you actually remember and embrace all you are – a wholeness?  Remembering the important life lessons that have come our way, such as: – I remember that masks that stay on too long will stick to my skin.  I remember I always have a choice.  I remember that if I am asked to keep a piece of me hidden, this is not where I belong.  It’s about diving into your core values and living them.   

So, when I went to the cards and asked who would like to guide and teach this week I nearly snorted tea out of my nose when I saw who was most adamant.  (Seriously you can’t make this shit up!) 

This is the first time these guides have come out to play in public.  I will say it is one of the sets I have been using everyday since they insisted on taking them home (which funnily enough was 10 minutes before a Baba Yaga play.) And interestingly enough 4 of them wanted to join!

They use the word W.I.T.C.H – woman in total control of herself, and in a nutshell (as we are doing a brief into today).  They invite you to become a disciple of inner devotion, resurrect the silver salvation of self-respect, believe in yourself and your wild holy heart like it’s a sovereign religion.  As it is.  And the world needs more missionaries.  

Thus with the thought of wholeness, reclaiming the energy that you use to hide pieces of  yourself or your pain, that sense of release –  close your eyes down and just breathe.  Just breathe, trust and allow this all to swirl.  Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that tug.

THE RESCUER

Killer empathy is real.  Most women never identify it, let alone unravel its suffocating grasp on their lives.  

While empathy is a superpower, it is a double-edged sword.  It enables you to be considerate of and cooperative with others, but on the other side of empathy is the rescuer, who, in her compassion, is determined to save those she loves and that which she cares about most.

This will lead her to sacrifice her time, energy and other resources in the name of fixing, saving, solving, helping and otherwise rescuing those people and situations she feels have a great need.

This side of empathy cuts deeply into her life force, often resulting in the haemorrhage of her time, vitality and creativity.

A W.I.T.CH, however, knows that her empathy must have boundaries.  

She helps those who help themselves, jumping in to assist rather than save or fix.  She trusts that others have their own guides and their own soul’s code to assist their journey, just as she does.

She’s willing to resist the impulse to care-take or rescue, allowing others the opportunity to grow, expand, and develop their own agency.  

Now is the time to resist the urge to manage another’s experience and keep your precious empathic energy in balance.  

THE PREDATOR

You know that voice of the psyche that wants you to comply or conform in order to fit in, or shames you for being selfish, or tells you it’s honourable and responsible to deny your longing, demanding you fold your dreams away into a people serving shaped box?

It’s a predator you adopted as a family.

The voice condemning and convincing you that following your desires will hurt other people?  

It’s inside you.

The call is coming from inside the house.

That predator is an unholy inquisitor.  He might have first showed up outside of you in your original home, church or school, and most certainly in our culture as a whole.

But he is now alive as the inner patriarchy.

It’s the force that wants to control you in order to keep you small and unthreatening.  

It’s moved into the psyche, as it does generation after generation, if left unquestioned.   

A W.I.T.C.H. knows it’s purposeful to speak truth to power, to stand up and march for justice, fairness and decency.  But she is also determined to march on behalf of the girl inside of her living with a monster.

She is willing to take to the inner streets to clean up the injustice of bullying thoughts, blaming self-talk, and name-calling.

She speaks up for fairness when the internal predatory voice demands she please everyone else before herself.

She embodies fierce decency when her dreams or hungers or passions are shamed and belittled from within.  

It is time to take a stand against the unholy inquisition of the psyche, and develop the tools to defeat the toxic patriarchy living there.  

You deserve nothing less.

DISCIPLE OF RITUAL

You are connected to all things. 

Remembering this is part of your empowerment.  Forgetting it is part of your diminishment.  

When we honour our Earth as Mother, our Sky as Father and praise the wind cousins, the water ancestors, the stone family and the fire friends, we are taking our place in the great family.  

The animistic way of being in the world is remembering that spirit lives in all things, not just humans.  

This is a time to remember ritual as an act of inclusion.  Ritual is your way of acknowledging your part in the Great Family.

Accept its blessings and be grateful for the ways life conspires to bless you.  

The sun creates enough energy in one day to run all the machines of the planet for more than a thousand years.  

There’s more oxygen available than you can ever breathe.  

The water on this planet was the same water available to the dinosaurs, to Mary Magdalene, to Gandhi.  

The planet you were born to is genius in both generations and regeneration.

We are sharing or squandering its riches, and the potential of our own psyche, in any given moment.

Our Lady of Perpetual Rebirth is here to usher out the old and midwife the new.  Pay special attention to your dreams.  There are signs and symbols showing themselves to you right now that will indicate what wants to be loosened  and released.  

The new vision, new awareness, new life that is circling you right now will also send out strong signals.  Pay attention.  

Listen, watch, observe.  This is a time to let go of what no longer serves.

Hello my darling, how was the Libra New Moon Lunar Eclipse for you?  I got up bright and early and yomped off to a glorious craggy spot that faces the East and watched what I could whilst the dogs cavorted – ignorant of the energy that was flooding in!

But the energy was intense and it was fascinating to note the change in the suns colour and the temperature.

Remember that New moons represent new beginnings – one cycle has come to a close & a new one begins. It’s a powerful time to start something new, plant new seeds you want to grow in your life. New Moons initiate new ideas.. They bring new dreams to life. With this solar eclipse something new is beginning in a larger, profound way. A major chapter in your life is coming to a close and a new one is beginning.

The solar eclipse helps expose deeper parts of yourself, so you start a new chapter more aligned with your soul. It’s here to help your truest, most authentic self emerge. It gives permission to the parts of yourself you usually hide away to step forward in the light of day.

The Sun represents your ego – it’s the mask you wear in the world; and the Moon is your shadow, the part of yourself you keep hidden. During the solar eclipse, darkness falls on the Sun & your shadow is revealed in the light of day.

Lunar eclipses usher in change, they can be a time of massive transformation – time of expansion & evolution.

Lunar eclipses are powerful teachers. If changes need to be made in your life, the lunar eclipse will set those things in motion. It pushes things along sometimes causing abrupt endings & changes – whether you want it, or not.

Lunar Eclipses bring things to the surface so they can be cleared away.

What’s been coming up for you recently? Has the Universe been nudging you to release something in your life?

I imagine it has! This is important work at this time of year. Autumn is all about releasing old patterns, mindsets, ways of living that no longer serve us.

The seasonal energy & the eclipse energy are really colliding right now. They are aligning to support you in this transformative, brave, difficult work of letting go whatever we are needing to release in our lives – in order to move into the next chapter in our lives.

Just look at the trees around you, the leaves are changing colour and starting to gently release their hold on the branches.

So guess what? With all of this happening it means that Halloween/Samhain is coming! (You should see my happy dance!) 

I love, love, love Halloween, it is my most favourite celebration. The pumpkin carving, the costumes, the terrorising small children when they come for sweeties and the decorating.

You should see all the fun creations I have been making to decorate the front yard with!  I will tell you about them next week.  And you will be able to see photos of them on my Instagram.  

Now, many of you have already started asking if there is going to be a Magikal Manual for Samhain (Halloween), you bet!  It will be available next weekish.  So if you are part of our wonderful email community you will hear about it.  

Now you may have heard people say “Samhain is coming and the veil is thinning.“

But what does that actually mean?

Let’s begin this exploration by considering that on one level, we are each separate beings with our finite little lives. But on a truer level, we are each infinite and eternal. We have no beginning and no end. And we are one with each other and every single thing. At Samhain, that relentless, all-pervasive Mystery is as close as it ever gets. And now we’ve arrived at what we mean when we say “the veil is thin.” 

You might say the veil is the place where the everyday illusion of separation brushes up against the divine truth of eternity and universal interconnection. The place where form meets spirit, seen meets unseen, known meets unknown.

When we meditate or perform ritual, or when we have a mystical experience of any variety, this curtain parts and we are able to gaze into the place of power, the place between the worlds.

Okay, enough chuntering on let’s crack on with the reading!  When I went to the cards to ask who wanted to guide, heal and support this week I was delighted to see that The Spirit of the Animals Oracle chose to shine.  

So in case you may have never met them, let me introduce you.  “Animal Medicine, Animal Totems, and Animal Mascots have had cultural significance throughout our history.  Europeans adopted animals as tribal symbols that were later incorporated into crests for nations.  China has an animal associated with every birthday.  The Romans celebrated the eagle as the symbol for the empire. 

Our ancestors observed the appearance of animals as omens and signs.  Shamans and mystics rely on spirit animal helpers.  Native Americans have vision quests to discover their personal animal totem.  School sports teams choose animal mascots.  It is no wonder that the interest in animals as emblems and how they relate to us still persists.  Animals as symbols live in our deepest memory.”

Wonderful!  So my darling one just settle in.  Allow your breath to bring you back into your body and call back all the pieces of you that you may have left in various places throughout the last week.  Just breathe them all back to your core, like welcoming in little sparks of starlight.

LIZARD

Lizard is an Ancient One.  They are reptiles from an older time.  Their quick action and quirky maneuvers outwit and confuse their adversaries.  Lizards survive.

Lizard is sometimes called the “little dragon”.  Lizard medicine has the power of regeneration and transformation.  Lizards can shed their skin, their tail, let go of the past and step into a positive future.  Lizard people know they can survive anything and heal against incredible odds.  They are powerful dreamers and should pay attention to messages that come from their subconscious.  You can receive warnings that will help you avoid pitfalls.

If Lizard has chosen you, you have the “little dragon” within.  Dragons are those who are free of the limitations of the past and transform into greater awareness of self and personal power.  With Lizard medicine, you can transcend injury and hardship.  Lizard people re-grow and renew themselves into wholeness.

As a survivor you are unparalleled,

No matter what happens you can adapt.

PEACOCK

The Peacock is the most iridescent of all birds.  Their feathered cloak of blue, aqua and gold is worthy of royalty.  Their boisterous cries hold both mockery and laughter, which comes from their regal self-confidence.  Peacocks are blessed with clear vision that notices the smallest detail.  Because of their ability to eat poisonous snakes, Peacocks were used as protectors in ancient temples. 

If Peacock appears good luck will follow.  The feathers of Peacock are symbols for protection, prosperity and sensuality.  The Peacock is a symbol for rebirth and new beginning like its cousin the elusive Phoenix.

If Peacock has walked into your life you have a colourful and vibrant personality that is sure to win admirers.  You can raise yourself to great heights of brilliance in your field.  Peacock people have the gift of observation and keen perception.  Your inner vision brings you wisdom and foresight.  You must guard against letting your vanity or pride get the better of you. 

The best Peacocks are just their authentic selves.  Your positivity and radiance helps lift others up to realise their own worth.

You were born to shine and inspire.

Practice humility to avoid jealousy.

Be grateful for life

And more good things will come.

Be true to yourself and 

Recognise your brilliance.  

OWL

Owl is the messenger and revealer of secrets.  The totem of oracles and seers, Owl sits on their shoulder and is their advisor  When Owl flies into your life know that a time of unveiling is at hand and the truth will be made known.  Change is in the wind. 

Owl medicine can help you release the past and fly into a better future. 

Owls are creatures of the night.  Their silent flight and superior vision make them supreme hunters.  They capture the prize.  If they cross your path repeatedly it is a warning to review your situation and see where deception is lurking.  To see an owl can be an omen that a profound change is coming.

If Owl is your totem you are an Old Soul.  You succeed with wisdom.  No one can deceive you and you see into others’ souls.  Be sure to keep your knowledge secret unless asked to provide counsel.  Trust should not be broken. 

Ask your Owl totem to sit on your shoulder and guide you.  Become the conscious student of Owl.  Embrace your gifts and fly with the  masters

Choose to know the truth because you can.

Canadian Thanksgiving, Friday the 13th, Libra New Moon Eclipse! I love October!

Happy Magnificent, Magickal, Marvellous, Magnetic, Merry, Mystical, Manifesting Monday!!  

Here in Canada it is our Thanksgiving weekend.  I hadn’t planned to do a reading this weekend, but I was given a firm nudge from my guides, so here we are!

So let’s go explore Thanksgiving, Friday the 13th and the Libra Moon Eclipse!  

Thanksgiving is a glorious time for me filled with amazing memories, great food, great friends and family and it really brings to the forefront to remember all the things to be grateful for and to celebrate life!   

I personally had an amazing weekend.  I went on a full day jaunt to a wee little island called Saturna, which I had never been to.  Why?  I had been asked to marry a wonderful couple, and  we had co-created such an amazing ceremony together, their vows were said over a huge pile of rose quartz.  It was magickal!  And as it takes a while to get there and get back (ferries) I had the opportunity to fit in some lovely hiking and exploring with a friend and the doggos.  

Which in turn meant I wasn’t feeling impelled to cook a massive Thanksgiving dinner the next day and voila!  One of my boys offered to do the whole thing and host the whole fam damily, so it worked out perfectly.  And the food was fabulous!

So Friday the 13th in October – yes please!

It makes me laugh how Friday the 13th gets such a bad rap.  That it is a bad luck day, that awful things will happen and all the rest of that bullshit!

If we research why it got such a bad rap, it most likely comes from the Christian Tradition as at the Last Supper there was Jesus and 12 apostles (thus 13), Judas—a person who is said to have betrayed Jesus—was the 13th guest at the Last Supper. Also in the Bible, many unfortunate things happened on Fridays.  

However, I suggest we take it back to its original meaning!

Friday the 13th is associated with various aspects of the feminine, including goddesses and the moon. 

Before patriarchal times, Friday the 13th was considered the day of the Goddess, a day to worship the Divine Feminine. This association highlights the reverence for feminine energies and principles.

The 13th day often falls in the middle of the moon cycle, representing the midway point between death and rebirth. It’s a time associated with transition and change, echoing the cyclical nature of the moon.

Friday is named after Freya, a goddess, and is symbolically connected to Venus, epitomising feminine energy. This energy is believed to be particularly strong on Fridays, including Friday the 13th.

There are 13 phases of the moon in a year, which symbolise the divine feminine. This concept is not only present in astrology but has historical significance as well.

In summary, Friday the 13th has deep connections to goddesses, the moon, and the celebration of feminine energy, representing a day that embraces the Divine Feminine and its cycles.

See where I’m going with this?

The day after Friday the 13th we have the glorious Libra New Moon Solar Eclipse!

The Libra New Moon Solar Eclipse falls on October 14, and is the second Eclipse in the Aries-Libra cycle that we will be working with over the coming years.

As this Eclipse cycle is relatively new, many seeds are still being planted. We may not be able to wrap our heads around exactly the journey this Eclipse cycle will take us on, and it may feel harder to see the bigger picture.

On a collective scale, the Aries-Libra Eclipse cycle is triggering our connections, intimacy, relationships, and how we choose to show up in them. It is also working on our feelings of inner strength and confidence, reminding us that we each possess what is necessary to lead the best life possible.

On a New Moon, energy is drawn within, and we are guided to connect with our deeper truth. What is really important to us? What do we desire? How are we feeling?

By connecting with our inner world, we can unlock a new level of understanding, not just about who we are, but where we are going. We may feel new ideas bubbling or start to gain a sense of what we wish to put out into the world.

New Moons are fantastic times to set intentions, but under a New Moon Solar Eclipse, the energies are a lot stronger. With these strong energies, we can indeed set some very, very powerful intentions. What we put out into the Universe will be magnified and strong. However, as the Eclipse energies are so powerful, there is actually more magic to be found in the surrender.

This means that rather than controlling the narrative, we surrender to the Universe. We allow ourselves to flow, trusting that whatever comes our way will be exactly what we need for our current state of consciousness.

Okay, let’s crack on with the reading.  When I asked the decks who wanted to show up this week I laughed my soxs off when I saw it was The Divine Circus Oracle.  

“What is life if not a Divine Circus?  Life might seem ordinary at times, yet when we look more closely, it is bursting with creative diversity, constantly evolving, pulling rugs out from underneath our feet (usually just at the moment we think we have everything under control) and opening doors we couldn’t even see were right there before us  moments earlier.  Life is magical, thrilling, sometimes strange and even scary.  It can inspire you and touch your soul, inviting you to discover the unique magic within you, to dare to live it, to express it, to play with possibilities and embrace what sets you apart from the crowd. “

Thus, I invite you to breathe and just BE with your gorgeous self here at this moment.  Take a few lovely, rich, nourishing breaths and let the cares of the moment slide off like wee little raindrops.  Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that call to you.

DARK HARLEQUIN

Bells are ringing from deep inside.  Something that once had to hide is seeking your attention.  It wants out!  It wants to be free!  As you release what was once shut away, your discomfort shall turn to glee.  

You are a spiritual adventurer!  You are not afraid to go to the edge of what you know, of who you have believed yourself to be.  Even when before you there lies the darkness of unknown worlds, of undiscovered parts of you, even when you feel uncertainty, discomfort or doubt, you are still willing to figure out what it’s all about,  

So you’ve come to a place in you, and in your life, where you don’t know.  You don’t know what’s happening.  You don’t know how to work through it.  You don’t know who you are (well, not all of who you are).  You don’t know what you don’t know.  You are at the point of not knowing because you are growing. There will be surprises.  There will be discoveries.  You’ll feel awkward at times, like you are trying to see in the dark.  

Don’t be afraid to let there be some inner rattling and rampaging.  You are at a time when you are naturally diving into the darkness for a healing purpose.  So ask the difficult questions.  Do things you wouldn’t normally do.  Experiment with thinking in ways you wouldn’t normally think.  

Be willing to let everything change for the better by first letting go of how things are now.  The messier your inner world seems to be right now, the more you can expect complete and utter transformation as a new order comes into form.  Expect the unexpected, for you were born to grow into what is happening now.  

It’s time to let the wild thing out!

THE PROUD PIERETTE

If you were proud of who you are and everything you have learned in your life, free from shame, guilt or judgement, what would you choose for yourself today?  The choices you make for yourself from a place of feeling good are going to be more loving and helpful than anything from a place of self-judgement. 

You’ve nothing to regret, you’ve learned a lot and you are a beautiful unique being on a wild divine journey.  Be kind to yourself.  Keep your head up!  Then it will be easier to keep growing and glowing.

Dear wild one, have you felt like you’ve lost your footing? Got a bit clumsy? Made a mistake? Have you been second-guessing your choices?  Don’t you dare doubt you!  Be proud of all you’ve done and how far you’ve come.  Never be ashamed of who you are, or the journey you’ve taken.  

If you feel that life is getting you down, or you should have, or could have, made different decisions in life – be reassured, you are doing a great job!  You are meant to have learning experiences.  What matters is that you choose to learn.  And you do!  In your own time and your own way, you make sense of things, and you grow wiser and stronger as a person.

If you feel any ridicule, judgement or shaming is coming from those around you – trust you are stronger and wilder and more beautiful and true than any of that mean-spirited fearfulness.  Let the mud that is being slung slide right off or remain stuck in the hands of those throwing it your way.  Keep your sense of inner dignity intact.  Never make yourself smaller to placate the fear in another’s heart.  Take pride in who you are. 

 Be proud to be you!  And know that this is a way to respect and honour the creative loving power of the universe that created you!

MEANT FOR YOU

You’ve voiced your intent, setting in motion a natural creative process.  What you want has been summoned forth and is now headed your way.  Don’t hesitate, refuse to receive, or pass this gift on to another.  It is meant for you.  Grab it!  Within this new opportunity is exactly what you have been waiting for….what you have been wanting to create, what truly makes your heart sing.

What is rightfully yours is – or very soon will be – right in front of you.  Caught up in a spiralling wave of new beginnings, it is time to reach out and grab what is headed your way.  Opportunity is the universe believing in you.  Return the compliment by accepting what is being offered with open arms and a trusting heart.  You’ll be glad you did.
