First off, thank you to all the amazing emails, comments and messages I received after the post about betrayal.  I so appreciated them all and the sharing that occurred.  Also, thank you for checking why there wasn’t a reading last week.

After the last reading, I had two amazing friends die suddenly.

And whilst I was reflecting on them, and prepping dinner – I managed to successfully slice through my nail bed and take the top of my thumb off.  Will say, it hurt like a bugger!  (Note to self, pay attention to the super sharp knife!)

Anyhow, I don’t know about you but the Spring Equinox and Eclipse energy are fully ramping up! 

Tuesday, March 19th is Spring Equinox, Ostara and it offers so much for you to tap into.

My dreams have been rather odd (cool, but odd) and my brain and body are making me really look at the seeds that I am intentionally planting, both figuratively and literally.

So what does Spring Equinox mean for you?

Ostara (Spring Equinox) is that delicious place of change.

March has that energy of transition, caught between winter’s grasp and spring’s open arms.  

The Equinox brings the time when light is perfectly balanced with the darkness.  

This is a powerful time that represents seeds of intention, awakening, growth and rebirth. 

It’s the perfect time to do some reflection and align yourself with the habits that will allow you to truly flourish this season. 

So let me ask:- 

How will you support yourself during this transition?

How will you grow, glow & flourish this spring?

What types of balance are you creating in your life?

What are the seeds that you want to plant for yourself?

Remember, this is the time of Beginnings, Fresh Energy, Setting Intentions and planting them with love and care.

With the Spring Equinox your spirit is waking up with new ideas & new dreams for your life.

Equinox is a good time to consider balance in our lives, not only of happiness and sadness, but also of the areas in which we are active and passive, successful and falling short, giving and taking.

A BLESSING FROM YOUR ANCESTORS

A blessing to bring you the gifts and guardianship of your ancestral family.

Within your bloodline, and within your spiritual line, there are thousands of relatives who care for you, and whose cells now sing within your body.  You are their future dream, you carry forward the hopes of your distance and most ancient family.  

They have seen so much – yes, in other times and faraway places, but they come to you now and bless you with all the wisdom of their experiences, making you the sum total of a thousand thousand wise ones.

Call upon the wisdom of the blood, the old ones who stand behind you, supporting and holding you, clearly giving to you the knowledge that experience taught them.  

Let only the ancestors who can free you, aid you, support you, and celebrate the best of themselves within you come forward, and may the ailments and regrets of those who have gone before teach you what not to do in this time.

If the family be thin on the ground, or if there is estrangement at present, let the arms of the old ones hold you, form a circle about you, and infuse you with everything you may need at this moment.

You are loved across the distance of time.

A BLESSING ON A FRIENDSHIP

A blessing for a friendship where your best self is given permission to emerge and grow, and where mutual love is shared in good times and in bad.

May your friendship be blessed with laughter, but never at the expense of the dignity of one of you.  

May your friendship be a delight to you both, a time of warmth and sharing, give and take, small offerings of what you have sent back and forth between you.  May you be kind to each other, and honest too.  

May you have the trust that true friendship needs to speak of things for the soul, and may there be loyalty, one to the other, without chains or obedience, but freely given.  

May there be affinities of the spirit, differences to exalt in, and if harsh thoughts or words enter in and blight the path or your companionship, may you pick them up as a stone in the road, and move them out of your way.   

Let there be mutual care, and may your friendship endure amidst the inconsistencies of the world.  Let  your friendship have its seasons, but let it turn, on and on, ever – changing, ever-returning, to the place where you find love for each other, and greater love of self for knowing one another.

A BLESSING OF FORGIVENESS

A blessing to be able to be free of the burden of grudges and vengeance, a prayer to help you open up to the blessing that is forgiveness.  

Forgiveness is a tricky beast – and yes, for all it is a gentle word, it is a great beast, forgiveness.  For when we seek to forgive, we must wrestle with the wrongdoing that lies at the heart of our resistance to let go of the pain we are holding on to.  When we need to forgive, it is often that we are too raw, too far away from justice to be able to even touch the side of the balm of forgiveness.

Yet staying angry for long periods of time can develop into a compacted bitterness, and bitterness is a gall to all who wish to live freely.

But what can we do when the wrong is still very much alive, and to forgive another seems to be diminishing their harm, and their potential to harm others.

Justice and forgiveness must work hand in hand, and in this blessing they will now begin to entwine, so that while you begin to forgive first yourself, for whatever wrong was done to you, there is often an element of self-blame.

First, know that whatever wrong was done to you, it is not your fault.  And begin the work of forgiving yourself.  

May the blessing of this self-forgiveness be bestowed upon you now, dear friend.  Know you will gently untangle the doubt and recriminations that have settled like thorns about your heart, and invaded your mind’s peace.  And as begin to forgive yourself, you will also begin to find forgiveness for the injustices you have endured  

Let the anger burn down into coals from which you, phoenix-like, can arise.  

And know you have forgiven – forgiven the other for their dark gift.  Forgiven life.  And most of all, delivered the pure medicine of forgiveness to yourself.

March is romping in, which means Spring Equinox! White Rabbits! And The Numinous Collective!

Happy Magickal, Moony, Mysterious, Magnificent, Moodling, Manifesting Monday!

How was this Full Moon for you (the one that happened on Saturday?)

I will say for the few days prior to her culmination my dreams were most certainly odd, one of them had a feral mole in!  (As in the animal).  

When I bolted up from the dream the moon was pouring in her light all over my bed, so I bathed in moonlight..  Which was fabulous!  

Remember, this moon invites change and transition for you, to step into something new and melded with the Wood Dragon energy – YES!  

But as we know – change and transition can feel hard and scary, but this is the year dear heart, this is your year.  

Also, just as the moon was coming to culmination (what a great word) – The Numinous Collective Doors Opened!  

I will say I am so fucking excited and tickled about this project, as between Lisa and I we have about 55 years of teaching, living and breathing this stuff.  

This is such a powerful, glorious and rich container – hence why we are doing applications, as that is the transformative energy around it.

I’m tickled that March is romping in at the end of this week as I love Spring and most certainly adore Spring Equinox!  It’s that beautiful point of birth, creation and planting your intentional seeds, but we will discuss that more next week.

However, do let me remind you to holler White Rabbits on Friday as the first thing you say when you open your eyes!

Why?  Good question – I have been doing it since I was wee, but I went and did a bit of digging as to where the saying came from.  

What I found was, in fact, “White rabbits, white rabbits’ was written in the ‘Notes and Queries’ book from 1909.

The word must be spoken aloud, and be the first word said in the month to bring great luck.

It also was a common belief among RAF bomber aircrew during WW2 that saying “white rabbits” the very first thing upon waking would protect oneself.”  

Don’t you just love finding out where traditions have come from?  I do.

Okay, enough chuntering  let’s crack on with the reading shall we?

When I asked my guides how they wanted to share with you this week I was tickled to see that they picked the wonderful Sacred Destiny Oracle, who have been rather shy about doing public readings, but this week they were 100% on board.  

So in case  you have never met them, let me introduce you – and if you have met them before, let me reintroduce you (as not to do so is rude!).  “You have a sacred destiny; we all do.  

There is a powerful and profound reason that you are here on the planet.  

However, sometimes it may be difficult to understand what that reason is and perceive what is required on your journey into the future.  It may be a challenge to know what the next step in life should be.  

This is the time to call upon the energy of nature and majesty of the natural world to provide answers to the heartfelt yearnings of your soul.  In ancient traditions, shamans, medicine women, witches, visionaries, and prophets all accessed hallowed knowledge by observing their natural environment. 

These wise beings stepped through mystic gateways into inner realms to bring back meaning to the seemingly random event of life. “

Thus, I invite you to slow down for a few minutes.  Just breathe yourself back into your body and the here and now.  Let your breathing slow down, your jaw soften and a sense of release and creation fill your mind’s eye.  Gently swirling and soothing  you.  Then, when you are ready, pick the card or cards that whisper to you.

ENLIGHTENMENT

Our beautiful home galaxy is so large that if you travelled at the speed of light, it would take you 100,000 years to go from one end to the other. (It is small compared to some galaxies – for example, the Hercules A galaxy would take 1.5 million years to cross at the speed of light.)

The realm of galaxies is so vast and so wide that it is beyond human comprehension, which is why the galaxy often symbolises great enlightenment as well a faith in the forces much greater than us.

So what does this sacred landscape want you to know?

Enlightenment occurs when one steps out of the confines of an ordinary definition of self and expands into a greater awareness of the self within the Universe.  

You are now reaching into the invisible realm of Spirit and connecting with what  you cannot see.  Forces beneath the surface are supporting you on your journey.  

Have FAITH in yourself!  You are so much more than you believe yourself to be. 

Have patience that there is a plan unfolding.  The sky’s the limit!  You are entering into a time of expansive transformation in a luminous and remarkable way.  

Trust that the changes ahead are for the greater good, for most certainly they are.

COMMUNITY

The towering ancient trees in a forest look distinct from one another.  

Yet beneath the surface of the earth, their roots are intertwined.  

The roots act like a kind of communication system throughout the community of trees.  Instantaneous messages travel through this underground system.  Nutrients can travel on this network.  

Trees at one side of the forest can supply the nourishment required on the other side of the forest.  Danger at one end of the network is communicated to the far end of the intertwined roots.

What does this Sacred Landscape want you to know?

Support is all around you, even if you are not consciously aware of it.  Allow yourself to be supported.  Give encouragement to others.  

The more you allow yourself to be supported, the more your dreams can come true.  If  you believe that you have to do it all alone, you will.

Your true family is not just blood relationships; sometimes the strongest family ties are friends who know who  you are. 

Sometimes they are your ancestors and soul families who reside in the Spirit.

It’s time to find your community and your “people.” 

It’s the time of remembering that your people are at your side – believing in you, loving you, and standing strong beside you.

Call on your community, and ask for their assistance.  They are only a thought away.

ILLUMINATION

As the sun risers over the far mountains, mists begin to spiral upward, illuminated by the golden, radiant rays of morning light.  

In many traditions, mist symbolises what is called the “mystic veil”, which represents an entrance point into unseen realms.  

In ancient and native cultures, mists are associated with mystical and magical inner dimensions.  Mist in the mountains represents higher states of consciousness.

What does this Sacred Landscape want you to know?

The upward, spiralling mists rising in the mountains suggest that those in the realm of Spirit – your spirit protectors, ancestors, and guardians – are close at hand, assisting you on your upward journey of illumination.

They are protecting you and supporting you.

Your spiritual life is expanding by leaps and bounds.  

Even if you can’t see what’s ahead, Spirit is close at hand.

Where’s your tribe to  connect with and support you?

Trust your heart and what you feel more than what you see and what you think, and you will be guided in the most perfect direction.

Imbolc, The Gentle Awakening and a Gift for You!

How are you gorgeous one?  How are you feeling? 

I don’t know about you but January has been playing with time in weird ways.  One moment it feels as if it was zipping by, and the next moment it felt as if it was dragging on for nearly a year!  (Most discombobulating!)

This can create a most peculiar feeling for those of us who are “doers”.  As part of us is itching to do, take action, follow the programming, and the other part is still in the reflective, integrative state.  

So let’s explore the energies of this mid winter time, Imbolc. 

I have a glorious gift to support you at this time.  If you read on, you will understand why I created her for you.  

Imbolc is on Thursday and marks the spot of mid-winter.  

The mid place between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox.  This time of year can feel rather heavy, grey and drab in many ways, but………

Imbolc marks the very first stirrings of new life.  It is a time of bitter weather and biting winds.  The days may have been growing longer since the Winter Solstice but it often seems like winter is now at its harshest.

The long cold nights of January often weary the spirits and fierce storms are common in February.  Yet look closely and glimmers of change can be found in the new buds on the trees and the green shoots of early spring flowers breaking through the frozen earth.  

Imbolc brings in the delicious energy which invites you to gently awaken and start planning your new seeds for the year.

And I want you to ask yourself  – what are your seeds going to be?

What is your Truth?  What do you Desire?  (This isn’t about what your mind says you “should do”, it’s about what your heart and soul are calling you to do).  Those are two powerful questions to ask yourself and then listen to the whispers that arise.  

I love the energy of Imbolc, it’s gentle, inviting and nurturing.  It’s a time of AWAKENING.

Not a TO DO Awaken, but a gentle stirring, a slight flexing and a big stretch. 

From the hibernation of Winter we oh so gently move into the hope of a spring to come, something new and delightful.  From the dark cocoon, we peek to see if things have changed.  

Spiritually, this is a time of new life coming into manifestation. We may only be seeing the tiniest hints of life above the surface but things are really beginning to stir in the darkness.

So come back to the questions – What is Your Truth?  What do you Desire?

At Imbolc, we’re beginning to really realise, something is shifting in our lives. 

Imbolc itself means “quickening in the belly”.  There is something shifting and changing.  

We are beginning to root a bit more into this year of 2024 with its delicious 8 energy and we are expanding in some way. (Whether you can see it or not – can’t you feel it, though?) And there is a lot of resistance that comes with big expansion.

There’s a whole lot of forces (internal and external) that want to keep you small. It’s scary to level up in your life – and there are really strong parts of us that don’t like that.

But this is the work of winter: Winter is where you integrate all your experiences from last year & it alchemizes into new life, new growth, new parts of you that will emerge in the weeks & months ahead.

Right now there’s a stretching & growing happening deep within you. (Even if you can’t see it, it’s there!) And that can be deeply uncomfortable. Depending on the shifts you’re making in your life, the resistance can be intense.

And it creates a conflict within you. This is where the question arises: do you have the strength & the courage to push through that resistance, to whatever’s on the other side? Or do you give in & lean back on old ways of operating?

This is the challenge and invitation at Imbolc.

If things feel hard for you right now, trust it’s because you are EXPANDING. You’re doing big work in your life (even if you can’t see it, yet) and you’re going to feel resistance to that.

At Imbolc, this is when the seeds of your life are created and planted….

So remember to take sweet, gentle care of yourself right now. Nurture yourself, nourish your spirit. And REST, sweet one. Just rest. We are still in winter. This is your most important work.

THE TRICKSTER

Let me be a reminder to be true to yourself, to your own personal truths, to the code within your soul.  Truly, at this time it is essential for you to let your conscience be your guide, and to live according to your own creed, with open eyes. 

Do not fool yourself into believing another person’s vision and ideas are more important than your own – question agendas, and be aware of people’s history. 

For at this time, there is one about you who is attempting to persuade you to their cause, to join them in what they see is a great task, but which in truth is simply a harnessing of your power to their agenda, which is not for your highest good.

All tricksters are charming and know exactly what to say to persuade you – but this is mere language.  Their deeds will not match their words, and what you are agreeing to by joining with them will be a loss of your own personal dreams for the furthering of theirs. 

If you allow yourself to be coerced, cajoled, and manipulated at this time, it will weigh heavily on your very soul.  

Be more wary than is natural for you at this time.  Do not betray yourself, or ignore the warning signs, which are all about you.  Do not foolishly give away your power, but exercise it, and weave a future that is truly the one you wish to create – one, which will provide you with honour, plenty, and the satisfaction of having been true to yourself. 

FAERY GODMOTHER

When the Faery Godmother comes to you, be aware that this is a time when you will discover what has been long hidden to you – your true self will be revealed in surprising ways every day, and sudden moments of heightened perception will make this time especially significant for you.

People finally get found out, manipulators can be seen through, true costs of circumstances are revealed, and any lies about you will be seen. 

This can be hard, but it is truly a hardship that is born of protection – you are safer for knowing in whom you can trust in order to make the right choices for your soul.

Throughout these revelations and insights will be a guiding hand – and this is the Faery Godmother.  She is showing you what it is you need to know in order to create and foster a life that works for you – and she is a protective force too.

How are you most delicious lovely?  It feels like we haven’t connected for ages, but in reflection it has only been a few weeks!  And I will say I spent those couple of weeks facilitating The Omen Days (which is such a glorious way to enter a new year), and all the amazing women who participated really blew my hair back!

Welcome to January 2024.  

A New Year filled with possibilities, potential and rich in Spiritual lessons.  

If you remember, we started this new year with Mercury going direct after being retrograde.  So the first 3 weeks of this month are all about integration, and being.  It’s not about dashing around and immediately going into action with resolutions!

I will say that this Gregorian Calendar of “It’s a New Year ” puts a lot of expectations on people, and they are normally negative ones.  Which thoroughly irritates me, as it is something that is pushed in the media, magazines, and our collective culture.  

To me, resolutions are made because – “everyone does this”,  we should all make resolutions as it’s a New Year.  Mmmmmm, having done them for years (because that was expected), they are normally based on fixing something about oneself or not feeling enough.  

An example.  As someone who used to go to the gym daily, I would see people flood in at the beginning of January with the resolution of “I have to get fit and buff”.  Mmmm, okay.  By early February you never saw them again.

Why?

Because the intention wasn’t based on the energies that are in play, nor in how they wanted to feel.

So let’s look at 2024, in Numerology this coming year is an 8 year.

(Last year was more of an introspective and soul searching year).

8 is the number that takes everything and amplifies it!

It’s the year to really step into your power, your strength and there will be lots of lessons about having the courage to be yourself and to think outside the box.

If you have been a people pleaser, wowzer, there are going to be lots of lessons around this to help you finally release this pattern. 

So this is where the invitation for you is to really tune in, own your worth, get comfortable with uncomfortable emotions, and be a very active participant in creating your life (not a stand on the side victim).  

Throw in the energy of the Dragon (which we will talk about in the next few weeks), and wowzer it’s a deliciously potent year.  

The words that come up strongly are Heart based, Strength, Authenticity and Personal Power.

So ask yourself these questions:

What does your soul want you to share with you?

What would it feel like to move in the world from a place of ease, alignment and to really thrive?

How do you want to make your mark in the world?

Last but not least, How do you want to live? And how do you want to feel whilst doing that?

Okay, enough chuntering – let’s crack on with the reading.  The cards that flew out and at me this week  are the amazing Divine Circus Oracle, which made me laugh my soxs off – as the with all the energies swirling and the bizarre weather patterns that are happening, the world does feel like that right now.

JOKER IS WILD

The Universe has a sense of humour, but never at your expense.  It is laughing with you, not at you.  You’ll see this for yourself as the Joker weaves her magic in your life, bringing you the grace that is beyond all reason, the necessary ingredient to ensure you win with the hand you have been dealt by life.  

There’s nothing impossible when the Joker appears.  Her wild ways can transform a losing streak into a lifelong love affair with Lady Luck.

Strap yourself in and prepare for the ride of a lifetime.  The Joker has come to you and the Joker is wild.  Unpredictable and brilliant, she brings you a message.  

You are being empowered to overcome all odds.  So you are going to win.  No doubts, no dramas, but not necessarily in a way that you expect either!  

She is sending the best possible situation to you even now.  It might startle you, like a sudden light in the middle of the night, but it will be welcome nonetheless.

The Joker is the highest trump card to beat all others.  

No matter how much another may seem to have the upper hand, or how many forces seem to be against you, even if you feel like a lone wolf about to be mauled by a pack of hungry lions, the Joker always wins.  

She comes out of the blue, and changes destiny from darkness to light.  She brings the brilliant solution that ends a problem, the way through that is best and brightest.  

You probably won’t see it coming.  It will probably be in a way that subverts everything you once believed to be true. 

But it will be a welcome trick by the Universe, a loving joke that opens your heart and helps you realise that this vast impersonal universe personally knows and cares for you, so intimately and with such meticulous care. 

Just don’t expect to feel in control of the process, for the Joker is wild and moves according to her own genius, but always blesses you with what will work best, beyond compare, now and always.  

RED COUNTESS

Deep within, you know what is true and what to do (or not do).  Yet there is so much noise and distraction in the world, and even at times in our own minds, that listening for our inner wisdom can seem like trying to hear gentle birdsong in the midst of a rock concert.  

Even so, you are hearing an inner truth, and deep down, you know it.  Can you trust that it is safe to not only hear your inner voice but act on it too?

There is something that you know.  You’ve felt, sensed, heard or realised this truth more than once.  Even if others see or feel differently, you just know what you know, even if you don’t quite know how you know it!  

Give your truths value.  Hold your feelings and insights in high enough esteem to pay attention to them, to give yourself time to process what you think, feel and sense. 

Know that they’re worth acting on, even if that action just means to trust more and stop worrying.   

If you cannot figure out what your inner truths are, or you feel confused by conflicting thoughts and feelings, torn between head and heart, then you are in a state of information overload.  

You need to switch off, discharge some excess mental and emotional energy and take a break.  Give yourself some time out from the crazy noise and constant distractions of the world so you can get in touch with what is true for you.

SILVER SIREN

When is an enchantment not enchanting?  When it is a spell that you allow to consume your free will, even as it promises so much and yet delivers so little.  

The Silver Siren sings her song, a pretty poison to the soul.  Her false allure tempts the mind, even whilst the heart feels that something is not quite right.  

Your power will come from discerning the truth and allowing her false promises no place in your heart.

If you compromise your integrity you will find that what you have obtained was not worth the price you paid for it, no matter how much you believed it would be otherwise.  It simply will not be worthwhile.  

The Silver Siren is a false light that is so very enticing but so destroying.  To disempower the false light, you must stay true to what your heart says. 

No matter how much you may fear you’ll regret it later on, simply say no to that which is unworthy, to that which does not hold the truth of love within.  Even if a person declares that they are utterly enlightened and only interested in your highest good; even if the opportunity at hand is “too good to miss”, making your mind needy and confused, follow your heart – if it’s not a Hell Yes, it’s a NO!

You are being given an opportunity for empowerment.  It is time to trust yourself and stand firm with your truths, and to experience the priceless sense of love, safety, security, peace and self-possession that this brings.  

With this, your soul can sing its own song, a song that shares true light, the lightness of a heart that lives in peaceful truth with the world.

Holy Hannah it’s December! What does December hold in store for You?

Happy Musical, Merry, Muddling, Mysterious, Magnificent, Manifesting Monday!

Holy Hannah, December is already here!  How are you doing?  How are you feeling?

I set my intention about how I wanted to move through December by going to a glorious candlelit concert in Christ Church Cathedral on the night of December 1st.  

500 or more candles, a glorious quartet and an amazing young opera singer.  It was soothing, healing and serene.

Which totally explains all the messages that have been handed to me about how to support and help this month, with the swirling energies of December and my guides and I have been mapping 2024!  

Thus, we are doing a “Theme reading” – what is your personal theme for 2024? 

Each year we get a new tarot card that lets us know what will be in store. The card shows us what is on the horizon and where there is work to be done and what to expect from 2024.  

This reading is designed to support and empower you for the year ahead as we dive deep and explore the themes and energy of your theme card.

Now this isn’t just light and fluffy as they are melding in all the energies of 2024 with your theme to give you a delicious overview of what is being asked of you in the coming year.

And what’s super cool is we are approaching Solstice, and the time between Solstice and into the early New Year is a glorious liminal time. A time to really dream your seeds into being and to deepen into who we are, what we want, how we want to feel and what needs to be reset. 

So I have created a glorious free course and a group for everyone!

And yes, in January their is a glorious MasterMind Circle with a select amount of seats starting in the New Year where  you will learn energy management, boundaries, values, self mastery, collapsing old mirrors and so much more.  But we will talk more about that later.

Why am I doing this? 

I was in a grocery shop the last week before December started and the Xmas music was being piped through every speaker, and I noticed this chap (employee), looking very “pained” and fed up. 

So I stopped to have a chat, he shared that listening to Xmas music for 8 hours a day for the next 4 weeks will drive him nuts!  How with his father and best friend dying in this last year he was feeling crushed under the expectations of others.  The expectation to be sparkly, bright and merry.   Fair enough! 

So I listened, gave him a few suggestions and asked him if he would like a hug (which he did, even if it was only one armed at the moment).  

A few days later I had been invited to co-convene a group for women in their early thirties, and when I asked – “What weighs on your heart right now?”  The Tsunami of sharing and emotion that came pouring out was incredible!

Again, the overwhelm, the being tired, the expectations that they should have it all together and create “the perfect Hallmark Xmas for their family”.  The desire to cocoon, hibernate, slow it down instead of speeding it up (but what would the in-laws think?)  Wowzer.

Now I see why my guides were adamant last week that we do a reading pertaining to bandwidth and boundaries!

I love the holiday season – but what I love is the darkness, the sparkly lights, the turning inward, time spent creating, listening and cocooning.  Time spent in a meaningful way with people I love and as we get closer to Winter Solstice – dancing in the liminal time and taking time for me.

So let’s recreate what this month can mean for each of us in a way that nourishes us, supports us and heals us.  Thus, allowing us to step into 2024 with ease and grace, yes?

As Lena shares, the theme for December is: “Revalue and Reprioritize”.

We are still in sorting, shifting, decluttering, releasing, re-organizing mode, but now with a focus on what we value and where our priorities have been that need to be examined and shifted to accommodate recent insights, growth and evolution. 

This month is going to require discipline if we are to stick to the task of uncovering our truth as opposed to what we were imprinted to believe. 

We have been taught by culture what to value, what to strive for, who to be with, what to do, how to act and what not to wish for. 

This is all up for review this month and the discipline will be to keep on track and not be distracted by other people’s drama, reactions, projections and process.

Do you see how this all ties in together?  

What do you value?  Peace or other people’s expectations?  What nourishes and supports you? (And for the record, that is NOT selfish, it’s vital.)

Okay, enough chuntering on.  When I went to the cards and asked who wanted to guide, The gorgeous Faery Blessing cards were most adamant!  How positively perfect!   

To be Blessed, or to offer a Blessing is a powerful thing.  

Now if these cards are new to you (which they probably are), please let me introduce them (as it’s rather rude not to!)  “Faeries are present in every droplet of water, every blade of grass – they are everywhere there is a trace of nature – thus every field, flower, and forest is theirs.  

They inhabit the wild rainforests and the old castles; they dance within standing stones and burial mounds; they are on the top of mountains and within the grove deep in the valley; and they appear in the cracks in the pavement and beneath the cities in the old, tangled tree roots.  

Faeries are part of this world, and they were here before we were born into this world, and they know us better than we know ourselves.  

The blessings of the faeries can bring us back into relationship with ourselves, back into relationship with the elements, so that we can become more at home within the world, while creating a personal world which supports our dreams, our wishes, and our purpose. ”

Please read that last line again. Bring us back into a relationship……..

So darling one, with yesterday being the first candle of advent – the candle of Hope.  Stepping into the darkness  to release, there is a place for Hope. 

But what is Hope?

“Hope is a feeling of trust, security, and a reason to keep going. It is a passionate desire of our heart. It is a feeling of expectation and a longing for a certain thing to happen.” – Verity Russell

So let me ask – What do you Hope for?

Thus with the thought of releasing and filling any space with Hope, I invite you to close your eyes down and just breathe.

A BLESSING OF A SAFE PLACE IN THE WORLD.

The Faery gift of a sanctuary, a space in which to fell completely supported and loved.

The Faeries know what it is like to find the safe places in the world – for theirs are under siege, and have been for such a long time.  The faeries know how to find the little home in the forest or the garden that is growing wild, the roots of old trees and the hollows beneath the sacred hills.

In these places, they have grown stronger and stayed safe, and they now transfer to you a part of this gift.  You will now find places and spaces within the world where you will feel free to be completely yourself, where you, too, can grow strong and bright again, and need have no fear.

Let there be a shelter and a sanctuary for you and your soul, where you can learn what it is you are meant to do next, and where there is no harsh word spoken, only guidance that can help ease us all into the next stage of our lives.

Let the safe spaces become our homes and our workplaces, our friendships and our schools.  Let the world become a safer space, and let the natural world shelter you with her turnings and showings of the changes about you.

Make not a fortress of this space you find, but let it begin to grow in your heart, so that wherever you go, others feel safe with you, and the world changes, in small but bright and beautiful ways, all as a result of this blessing of the faeries.

A BLESSING OF AWEN.

The Faery gift of Divine and Flowing Inspiration.

Let the faeries bless you now with their gift of the Awen, the inspirational flow of energy that can bring to life inspirational new projects, friendships, wisdom, and understanding.  

With every breath you take you absorb the Awen, and you feel more connected, more unique, more divine, more magickal.

Let the Awen come to you, now, tender and new as a bud, and 

let yourself feel the blessing surround you with a visionary new approach to your life.

Let yourself drink down the faery magick of the Awen, and let its sweetness and mystery uplift and re-engage you in life’s every moment.  

May the divine breath of the sacred trees be yours.  May the ways of the creatures of the sky, the land, the sea, and the fire be known to you.

May you know that you now can change, and learn, and study from nature herself in wonderful ways, and thus this life is now full of possibilities.  

When the faery blessing that is the precious gift of the Awen arrives from the Tylweth Teg, know that its blessing will allow you to be wise, yet filled with wonder, and to rejoice in the gift of this life

Blessings of the faeries to you, and of the Awen, friend.

.A BLESSING OF STILLNESS.

The faery gift of pause, calm, and opportunity to be tranquil.

It is this moment, the one long moment before all the other moments, with their cares and responsibilities, gather about you.

Let the faeries give you their gift of time, their blessing of the long moment to gather about you and pause within, while you cease that must be done.  

Pause now, and let them take you within – either within your own self, to the place  you have nurtured there, the grove within, or to the grove, or to the sea, the lake or the river, the tree or the garden, the fireplace or the rocking chair, and be still awhile, human child.  

And in this space, let calm return.

Let peace quietly sit beside you and talk to you of how much there is to be glad for.  Let an old friendship reignite, the one between you and your soul – and for these long moments between all the other moments, let yourself be taken into that world between the worlds and be still.

And when you return, there will be great presence to you – and you will be restored to your own centre once again.
