What’s Love Got to Do with it?

Happy Mellow, Magickal, Mystifying, Manifesting, Marvellous Monday!

Oh my giddy aunt, as I started writing this reading my guides came in with an amazing soundtrack of love songs, songs from my parents era “Love is in the air”.  Tina Turner rocking “What’s love got to do with it”, and a shed ton more!

I had “thought” I was going to write about Valentine’s Day and how it is in essence a made up day that Hallmark and whomever sells the choccies and red roses are doing very well with.

Yet again, I got a huge smack down on that from what I call my “posse”, and when they smack, I pay the frig attention, so it’s not going to be what I thought – so stick with me, lol – or don’t, your choice.

So most certainly in Western cultures Valentine’s day is being celebrated.  The stores are filled with gitchy things to buy, a single rose is $7 and the price of chocolate has gone up by 35%.  Wow.  

Personally I find Valentine’s Day irritates me, not because I don’t believe in love, but why on earth do we need just one day where we are meant to be loving, and why is it only focused on romantic love?  

What if you aren’t in a romantic relationship?  What if you’ve lost your partner?  I mean for criminies sake, why aren’t we celebrating all forms of love – family, friends, community, nature, spiritual and most importantly self love?  

Because, let’s be honest – without self love and appreciation for your own gorgeous being, you don’t have anything!  (And NO self love is NOT selfish!)  

Had to clear that up as one of my clients a while ago said that they felt selfish taking time for themselves and doing something nurturing. 

Self-love is all about nourishing your mind, spirituality, and physical body. Try to aim at all three of these to create a more well-rounded self-care plan. Focus on activities you get excited about doing. This is all about you after all, if it doesn’t give you a little thrill, why bother? 

To fully love, forgive and accept yourself is magickal, and allows the Divine to flow through you.

So I invite you to think about love and romance in a whole different way this year.

Look at ways you can increase your self-love. How can you take better care of yourself? 

How can you be your own best lover and your own best partner? 

Offer yourself all the things you would love to have from a lover. 

Book romantic dates for yourself. 

Make love to yourself slowly, and with intention.

Spend time journaling your feelings. 

Say all those wonderful words that you say to your best friend, to build them up, to yourself.

If you’re struggling, get the help and support that you need to release the doubts and fears.

Fall in love with your glorious self every day, not just Valentine’s Day.  

And remember, love all of yourself – even the jiggly bits lol, because you are so, so, so very worth it! 

Use the energy of this Pisces New Moon that comes in on February 19th, to really tap into your emotions and write a love letter to yourself!

Okay, I have chuntered on enough, so let’s crack on with the reading.  

When I went to the cards to ask who wanted to share their wisdom and insight with you this week, the glorious “Love Your Inner Goddess” guides came out big and bold.  Now if these are new to you, please let me introduce them (as it would be rude not to).

Okay dear heart, just settle into yourself.  Allow your breath to find its natural rhythm.  Just breathe into all the corners of your glorious being, and allow in your mind’s eye a glorious vortex to start swirling.  As it opens, see it filled with love, all sorts of love and allow it to soothe you and to remind you that you are love incarnate.  Then when you’re ready pick the card or cards that dance around your heart.

HERO

Believe that you are worthy of an amazing life.  

You don’t need to feel guilty or hold yourself back to make anyone else feel comfortable.  

You don’t need to be timid or uncertain, worrying that you are becoming too much for someone else or asking too much from the Universe.  

Living a great life is not about competition with anyone else.  Living a great life helps inspire others to do the same – it doesn’t take anything away from anyone else.  

If your dreams both excite and scare you, that’s a good sign.  Give yourself permission to go for it.  Go after what  you want with a happy heart.  

You have every right to be proud of yourself.  You have courage.  You have listened to your heart, even though sometimes that seemed to be the harder choice to make.  You may have days when you don’t feel so heroic, but, deep within you know you have guts and you are strong.

You know that a challenge is the way the Universe shows you that you are capable of something more.  

An opportunity is before you, now.  Has your heart been urging you to take a stand or take action in some way?  Would  you feel proud of yourself if you honoured that?

Then do it!!!!

You are learning what it is to truly respect and take pride in yourself.  That means feeling good about the sort of person you choose to be, how you choose to live your life – not lowering your standards to be the same as everyone else, but honouring your heart, becoming an inspiration to yourself.  

You don’t need to try to impress anyone.  You are an awesome human being, and you have everything within to make yourself proud. 

It’s time to step up.  It’s time to be your own here.  

WILD AND FREE

This is an important time in your life, when you are being guided to lead from your heart.  Even if it makes no sense to you or anyone else – or if your mind screams at you with fear and doubt – don’t ignore what your heart is telling you.

Give yourself the time and space that you need, away from the noise and the demands of the world and other people, so that the quiet voice of your heart can be heard.  Then take courage and act on what you feel.  

Your heart is wise and worthy of your trust.  

Your heart was never meant to be tamed.  It is always truthful.  

When you allow yourself to be true to your heart, it will show you how to create a beautiful contribution to this world that fills you up with joy and peace.

You don’t need to be ashamed of what you feel or be persuaded that you should feel differently.  Your heart has wisdom beyond the logic of the mind.  It has its own creative genius, a unique way to reframe problems, attract solutions and empower us to bring our dreams to life.  

Some may be afraid of the wild freedom of the heart.  You are not one of those people.  

Your mind may not always understand why your heart feels and guides you the way it does, but that is OK.  Reassure your mind that your heart can show you how to live in a way that is amazing – and that it’s safe to trust in that.  

You are a wild child of the Universe, and your heart is showing you the way to fulfil your divine destiny.  

Give yourself permission to live a life that makes your heart.

The world needs your joy!

PRINCESS SAVIOUR

Even if you feel uncertain about facing a challenge, believe in yourself.  

You are strong enough to conquer this.  There will be help if you need it, but you already have the inner resources required to overcome any obstacle and attain the most blessed outcome.

If you are in the process of letting go of someone or something – perhaps an old habit, an old way of life, a relationship or a situation in which you have felt trapped – don’t allow insecurity or uncertainty to stop  you.  

You’ve got this, and you are doing the right thing in moving on.

When you realise that you are strong enough to save yourself (which you are), you never have to be afraid again.  As well as inner strength, you have inner wisdom.  

Deep within, you just know when something or someone is (or is not) worthy of your time, energy and attention.  

The most precious treasure that you will ever have is the divine gift of yourself.

There is nothing that is more valuable, and no one that is worth losing yourself over.

You don’t need permission from anyone other than yourself to decide to walk away from what isn’t right for you, or to stand your ground and honour your values, or to say no and refuse to give in to social pressures.

You can be open to help and grateful for assistance, but you also know that whenever you need it, you have the power to learn, to act, to figure it out, to find the love within that will empower you for the life that you deserve.

Archetypes, Spirit, Surrender and Creativity……

How was your Snow Moon yesterday?  I did a gorgeous ritual for fertility (and heck no I am not talking about children here!  With 5 I think I have that covered), but more about fertility of mind, spirit and creativity. 

So here we are in February!

February is such an interesting month.  In the Northern Hemisphere one day it is sunny and kinda warm, then the next day it is cold, dark pouring rain or puking down snow.  

The perfect seasonal energy to help us nurture those seeds that Imbolc has invited us to dream into being.  And by the way, thank you so much for all the lovely emails about how much you have enjoyed the Imbolc Gift of Fi.  I love hearing all your shares and stories.

So let’s talk about Archetypes, Spirit, Surender and Creativity, shall we? (And if you have worked with me you will KNOW that I love these subjects!)

You may be wondering how they all weave together, but trust me, they most certainly do.

A quick refresher – Imbolc marks the midpoint between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, so we are in late winter here in the Northern Hemisphere and in the Southern you are late summer.

The Archetype for this Late Winter time is the Maker aka as the Artist, The Alchemist, The Innovator, The Creatrix.  

The Maker is the first archetype in the trio of existence – she isn’t intimidated by darkness or by lack.  They know that from the void, creation inevitably emerges.  

With meagre, minimal, and outlandish materials The Maker reveals a new image.  They make an empty room resonate with healing sounds; they generate bounty from the seed that others tossed away.

Though generative this archetype annihilates preconceived notions of what is possible, leaving unexpected openings in the wake of its destruction.  

The Maker does this by, first, being absolutely present (embodied) to what is and, second, trusting that a force greater than themselves awaits constant collaboration with each human soul.  

A prime example of this archetype is the Goddess Brigid.  She is the goddess of hearth, poetry, fire and blacksmith work.  She’s a Maker, a Creatrix.  She is also the goddess that is invoked and welcomed at this time.  

So here with the seasonal energies, we have the archetype that tugs at our bellies and our souls, inviting us to light the spark of something new and different in our lives.  However, note that a Maker trusts that a force greater than themselves awaits constant collaboration.

So what the heck does that mean?

It’s super simple (at least in my world), it’s inviting the Divine into your day to day. 

To allow Source energy to flood through you even when you are doing dishes, not just for the tricky moments.  To do this you have to be willing to Surrender (such a tricky word for most people as they equate that to capitulation).  

Surrender means letting go of what, how, when and who.

In surrender, we let go of how we think things have to be and allow the Divine to be in charge of our lives.  (In other words we take our Ego out of the equation and Trust).  

When we surrender, we give up the obstacles we are putting in the way by trying to take the control out of Divine hands and into our own.

We let go of it all—what we perceive to be good, bad, right, wrong, helpful or limiting.

We let go of the concept of failure and disengage from struggle.  We stop beating ourselves up for what we didn’t do or accomplish, and instead allow Divine love to have its way with us, manifesting through each of us in its own perfection.

There is a massive bigger picture that our limited ego minds can’t see and when we can surrender it up and invite in the support – it’s frigging amazing.  The Divine sees a much bigger picture. 

The Greeks used to believe there were Devas everywhere (makes me think of the Borrowers living in the walls).  These beings moved through you to create something that had to be created, and created by you.  In essence they were Spirit beings, and if you blocked them they would go find someone else to make themselves manifest.  

So what do you dream about creating, what are you curious about?  What inspiration have  you received that you have put in the bin as your ego has said – meh, you can’t do that.  

Please don’t tell me you don’t have a creative bone in your body, because that’s bullshit.  If you play with the Archetype of the Maker, invite in the Divine (or the Devas) and just get curious – whether it is through dance, cooking, baking, painting, drawing, writing, building, planting or a myriad of other ways.  You just may be surprised.  

As Elizabeth Gilbert says – “A creative life is an amplified life. It’s a bigger life, a happier life, an expanded life, and a hell of a lot more interesting life.

So as we move through late Winter, let’s dance with bigger, happier, expanded and a hell of a lot more interesting, yes?

Okay, enough chuntering, when I went to the cards and asked who wanted to come and play I giggled as Fairy Wisdom  wanted to be front and centre.  Now if these guides are new to you, please let me introduce them.

These glorious guides give you needed glimpses into your everyday life and help you see where changes can be made to enhance your life here on Earth.  There is so much more to our world than we often perceive.

There exist many dimensions and numerous beings that reside in these realms.  All of these elemental beings are interconnected with us.  We do not live independent of one another but are interdependent.  These wonderful beings are here to help.

They not only take care of the Earth, but they work hard to take care of us.  We are familiar with many of these beings, such as angels, faeries, and elves.  There are many more we are not conscious of, but they, nevertheless, contribute to the workings of our planet.  

Remember as you go through  your day, to ask for help from the elemental world whenever you need it.  The need is never too small to call on their help.  It is through helping us that they advance in their spiritual development.  We are their work.  We in turn can spiritually evolve through allowing them to help us.  To all these amazing beings we say Thank You.

Frigging perfect!

Okay glorious bean, let’s just take a moment and breathe.  Breathe all of the pieces of you back to you.  Allow your jaw to relax, your shoulders to gently rotate back and drop and your toes to curl.

Then, with the energy of the Maker archetype swirling in your mind’s eye I invite you to breathe a wee blessing to the message and guide you are meant to receive this week.

FAIRIES

Spirit Realm

You have a faery within you.  You have an inborn ability to tap into spirits of the mystical realm.

You may find that you are enhanced with an otherworldly, magical, fairylike quality.  You may come from a long line of faery ancestors, caring the bloodline of these ancients.  Others may  notice something different about you.

Eccentric might come to the minds of some who are acquainted with you.  But do you care?  Do  you need to care?  No!  And that is how it should be!

You may see, hear and know things others do not.  There is a special twinkle in your eye….these are the eyes that can see faeries, and communicate with all the elementals.  It’s time to work with the Heavenly as well as the Earthly spirits.  Whether you realise it or not, you are a gifted person….Intuitive and capable of easily channelling the energies of the Universe.

Remember to always use this gift and power for the highest good of all.  Always ask that you be guided in its use and no one comes to harm through your ministering.  

Remember to keep your ego out of your spiritual work, for therein lies your downfall.   Give credit where credit is due….Spirit does the work.  Through you.  

I joyously embrace my uniqueness.

BLUE FAIRY

Love

This gorgeous Blue Fairy offers up the message of love and peace.

She demonstrates the need for quiet within our daily lives.  She shows us that through calmness we realise our connection to Spirit.  This connection is always with us.  

Concentrate on this cobalt blue and feel what it does to your inner body.

Imagine a blue crystal deep within your heart that resonates to all that is, through the vibration of love.  

You are connected to all creation and to the hearts of all beings, through a beautiful crystal blue grid work of light.  Feel the oneness of all that is.  Sense the infinite being of your soul.

LIGHTING THE WAY

Illumination 

We all wish for guidance and help along the way, yet sometimes guidance comes from within.  When we connect to the energy of Spirit that resides within each of us, we see clearly what we are to do.  Reach for the stars!

Allow that communication with Spirit to connect you to your highest good.

Connecting to Spirit is as easy as recognising that you are already one with the Universal Power. It’s time to trust in your Divinity.  Ultimately, you are to be one who shows others the way.  You hold the light for them as they climb the path of illumination.  

In order to do so you must continue your own journey in learning and refining your own truth.  

It is only through example that we can change our world, one person at a time.  But if enough people hold the light, in enough places, we can bring about change at a much more advanced rate.

This faery holds the lantern for all to see, so that anyone who wishes to climb the path can better see the footholds and avoid the pitfalls.  She has reached the highest peak.  Her face shows that she takes her job seriously.  

Guidance can come in many forms…the words of a friend or loved one, or of a professional counsellor.  Guidance can come from a book or a stranger’s words.  

Listen to what information comes your way, then sit with it.  You will get a sense as to whether it is valid for you or not, if you are open and willing to hear your truth. 

You may be destined to teach, support or counsel others.

Each step of my journey is illuminated and sure.

I move with trust and confidence.

I welcome the chance to light the way for others.

I hold the light high.

Imbolc, Full Moon and a Glorious Free Gift for You.

How are you gorgeous one?  How are you feeling? 

I have just recovered from “the plague” that my housemate very kindly brought back from Utah and ran rampant through my home taking out everyone!  Including my daughter who was here visiting for 2 weeks and her fabulous 4 month old baby.  (Which made me uber, uber bitchy!)

So grumpy, fed up, tired and bitchy has been the energy of everyone for the last 10 days! Then to add insult to injury a major gas line was ruptured so we were without heat for 2 days!  Thank goodness for a hot water bottle, a kettle and cups of tea.  

So let’s explore the energies of this mid winter time, Imbolc and the Full Moon and I have a glorious free gift to support you at this time.  If you read on, you will understand why I created her for you.  

Interestingly enough, when working with seasonal energies this heavy, fed up, bitchy energy is right on cue for this time of year.  Imbolc is on Wednesday and marks the spot of mid-winter.  

The mid place between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox.  This time of year can feel rather heavy, grey and drab in many ways, but………

We had all the celebrations at the end of December and the start of January, and there is a sense of “now what?”  Some are fretting about how they are going to realise the goals they set at New Year, others are still perking their path and others are just tired, bone tired!

However, we’re starting to notice the days are getting a bit longer, there might be some tiny little shoots beginning to sprout above the surface. Have to say, all of my snowdrops are out in full force, which makes me smile with their little white bobbing heads.  

There is a sense of hope & anticipation, that new life will arrive soon.  And, there’s also a heaviness to it.

Why?  

At Imbolc, we’re beginning to really realise, something is shifting in our lives. 

Imbolc itself means “quickening in the belly”.  There is something shifting and changing.  

We are beginning to root a bit more into this year of 2023 with its delicious 7 energy and we are expanding in some way. (Whether you can see it or not – can’t you feel it, though?) And there is a lot of resistance that comes with big expansion.

There’s a whole lot of forces (internal and external) that want to keep you small. It’s scary to level up in your life – and there are really strong parts of us that don’t like that.

But this is the work of winter: Winter is where you integrate all your experiences from last year & it alchemizes into new life, new growth, new parts of you that will emerge in the weeks & months ahead.

Right now there’s a stretching & growing happening deep within you. (Even if you can’t see it, it’s there!) And that can be deeply uncomfortable. Depending on the shifts you’re making in your life, the resistance can be intense.

And it creates a conflict within you. This is where the question arises: do you have the strength & the courage to push through that resistance, to whatever’s on the other side? Or do you give in & lean back on old ways of operating?

This is the challenge and invitation at Imbolc.

If things feel hard for you right now, trust it’s because you are EXPANDING. You’re doing big work in your life (even if you can’t see it, yet) and you’re going to feel resistance to that.

At Imbolc, this is when the seeds of your life are planted….

So remember to take sweet, gentle care of yourself right now. Nurture yourself, nourish your spirit. And REST, sweet one. Just rest. We are still in winter. This is your most important work.

Remember, growth during the Snow Moon isn’t always comfortable or easy. Figure out ways you can relax and surrender to this transitional season. How can you clear out the unnecessary to make room for the meaningful?

During this time, we start to move past the goal-setting stage and into the realistic planning stages. How are you going to make your intentions come to fruition? 

Direct your magical intentions on rituals this month focused on new habits, goals, and plans for the future.

Take some time to really focus and be present. Contemplate your personal and spiritual intentions. This is a truly magical time, full of beautiful energy and momentum! These are the days the Full Snow Moon rises.

So my darlings with Imbolc just around the corner and the glorious Full Moon to back it up,  when I went to the cards I grinned a huge grin as the gorgeous guides of The Faery Forest Oracle were adamant to join!  Now if these are new guides for you, please let me introduce them as it would be rude not to!

THE TRICKSTER

Let me be a reminder to be true to yourself, to your own personal truths, to the code within your soul.  Truly, at this time it is essential for you to let your conscience be your guide, and to live according to your own creed, with open eyes.  Do not fool yourself into believing another person’s vision and ideas are more important than your own – question agendas, and be aware of people’s history.  For at this time, there is one about you who is attempting to persuade you to their cause, to join them in what they see is a great task, but which in truth is simply a harnessing of your power to their agenda, which is not for your highest good.

All tricksters are charming and know exactly what to say to persuade you – but this is mere language.  Their deeds will not match their words, and what you are agreeing to by joining with them will be a loss of your own personal dreams for the furthering of theirs.  If you allow yourself to be coerced, cajoled, and manipulated at this time, it will weigh heavily on your very soul.  

Be more wary than is natural for you at this time.  Do not betray yourself, or ignore the warning signs, which are all about you.  Do not foolishly give away your power, but exercise it, and weave a future that is truly the one you wish to create – one, which will provide you with honour, plenty, and the satisfaction of having been true to yourself. 

FAERY GODMOTHER

When the Faery Godmother comes to you, be aware that this is a time when you will discover what has been long hidden to you – your true self will be revealed in surprising ways every day, and sudden moments of heightened perception will make this time especially significant for you.

People finally get found out, manipulators can be seen through, true costs of circumstances are revealed, and any lies about you will be seen.  This can be hard, but it is truly a hardship that is born of protection – you are safer for knowing in whom you can trust in order to make the right choices for your soul.

Throughout these revelations and insights will be a guiding hand – and this is the Faery Godmother.  She is showing you what it is you need to know in order to create and foster a life that works for you – and she is a protective force too.

So what you need will come to you, sometimes in strange ways.  Be mindful of counting your blessings at this time – for this is the energy your Faery Godmother can draw upon to keep transforming your life into one which is more abundant, magickal, meaningful, and joyful.  

Note every moment of truth – they are all significant, and you are better for discovering what was once hidden from you.

How are you delicious lovely?  Quite a few of you have asked how long the “Opening the Door on 2023” personal theme reading will be available.  Good question.  The spots will be open until Solstice, thus, December 21st.

The Book of Winter Solstice is ready and I love her.  She is 59 pages of wonderment, rich with rituals, lore, stories, magick and amazing ways to honour this deep and rich celebration.   

But let me ask, how was the last week and the full moon energy for you?  Did you take some time to perk the energy of this month and think about the things that Inspire you?

I ask because many of you emailed and messaged saying you felt soooooooo out of sorts and I think a few of you used the word “fucked”.  As it felt a tad overwhelming.  I can totally relate!  My energy last week was all over the map, from panic, to anger, to anxiety, to fear, to needing to just be on my own to wanting to be sort of around others.  It was bizarre! And then I took time on the evening of the full moon to immerse myself in the forgiveness ritual that nourished my soul and reset the energy, and the sense of Peace that came flooding in was Divine!

Which got me thinking about Peace.  What does that word really mean? In a fabulous kids book written by Vladimir Radunsky he asks kids aged 8 – 10 from all around the world What Does Peace Feel Like?  Here are some of their amazing answers.  

What does peace smell like?

Like a bouquet of flowers in a happy family’s living room, like pizza with onions and sausage that just came out of the oven…

What does peace look like?

Like a cat and a dog curled up together in a basket, like new babies just born yesterday…

What does peace sound like?

Like a silent day, like raindrops falling, like no bad words…

What does peace taste like?

Like vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream, like sweet, like your favourite food times two…

What does peace feel like?

Like hugs your friends give you when you cry, like someone stroking your back; you shiver a little, but it’s a wonderful feeling…

Kids are so honest and smart!

If you make an advent wreath at all, last week’s candle was the candle of Hope and the Stones and the Bones.  Yesterday was the lighting of the candle of Peace and the Plants.  The  Roots, stem, leaf, flower, and fruit by whom we live and grow.  

I love the awareness this light invites, the awareness of the food we eat, the plants that heal us, the plantscape in Nature that nurtures us and soothes our souls. 

And this delicious energy of Peace so beautifully ties into the Winter Solstice which is rapidly approaching!

I have to admit I love, love, love Solstice – to me it’s that perfect balance point and the start of something new and exciting, filled with potential and possibilities and I can feel the energy of it for a few weeks before it even arrives.   

There is a sensation of reflection, going inwards and questioning that arrives naturally from this energy.  To me this is a time where I notice those “meh” moments more and really examine my life and ask the question “Am I showing up and embodying what I am called to do?” 

That’s why, to me, I feel it’s vital to take some time out to honour this energy and work with it which in turn allows me to feel aligned.  In fact I feel more balanced, connected and inspired after I have taken some time.

As the days get shorter in December, we force ourselves to get through the darkness. Now is a good season for spiritual alchemy — time to evaluate your life, and know that you’ll survive the dark times. 

As we leave the season of late Autumn we enter the season of Winter which is brought in by Solstice (Yule).  This is where we are invited to the downward spiral, the slow descent as water returns to Earth, emotion (water) coming into form (earth).  The energy is descending and the light is low—this is the most inward, the most yin part of the year. Yet this is the time of year where we have the most Yang activities!

However, you can’t fool your body.  When you really are tuned into your body and listen to the messages, your body often tells you things before anything or anyone else does.  It wants to relax, rest, rejuvenate, replenish, create and imagine.  

It wants to embrace Peace and Hope fully!

So let me ask again – what does Peace mean to you and how can you walk with it into the darkness of Solstice? (And if you need a hand I highly recommend BOWS – Book of Winter Solstice.)

Okay, with all that being said (sometimes I do chunter on!), let’s crack on with the reading.  When I went to the cards to ask who wanted to support and guide this week I was delighted to see that the White Light Oracle were super keen.  Now, if these guides are new to you please let me introduce you to them.  

Let us guide you into the luminous realm of the sacred.  The sacred is your heart treasure.  It is that which brings light into your life.  The sacred is precious to you.  It matters enough that you are willing to devote yourself to it – even when that requires courage, sacrifice and growth.  The sacred generates inner warmth.  It brings you joy.  The sacred is a healing mirror that shows you the truth of your experience, which can include a compassionate reflection of your own suffering.  It shows you how to heal.  It inspires and protects you.  What is sacred for your heart is unique to you.  Yet, for every heart, the sacred is an experience of sublime love and deep meaning.  The sacred helps us remember who we are and shows us how to manifest our inner purpose.  

Oh gosh yes, we certainly need to work within the sacred and with our strong rebellious hearts at this time!

Eschew complicated explanations, as you seek the simplicity of the deepest truth of your heart.  Gently but firmly cast aside that which does not resonate as being true for your heart.  Focus upon, and speak from, a higher spiritual perspective.  All prayers are answered at the perfect time and in the perfect way.  You have a powerful voice, which can foster healing wisdom on our planet.

Bath Kol is a mysterious creature.  She is an angel known as the divine oracle, the daughter of the divine voice, the pure and true sound of spirit.  When she whispers to your heart, you feel it as an inner knowing, a truth.  To honour that inner knowing likely requires the confrontation of fear or moving in unexpected directions.  Even so, the deep resonance of her truth is more powerful than the resistance we may initially feel as we let go of our limited perspectives and allow ourselves to be guided by Spirit.

Often an inner spiritual call requires a leap of faith.  A more authentic, awakened you is coming to life.  Paving the way for the higher self to manifest typically means that fear and control based approaches need to be surrendered.  Honouring Bath Kols guidance requires courage but brings rich reward on many levels.  

Acknowledge your true voice.  This may be the voice in your own heart which needs to be heard without judgement or censorship.  It may be an intuitive inner knowing to be recognised.  It may be a loving and helpful voice of a reliable guide or friend whom you know can be trusted.  It may be a teaching from a dream or an insight from a meditation, or even an inkling that certain happenings or sightings are signs from the Universe to help you on your life path.  

Practise your power of discernment.  Filter ego from heart.  If a point of view lowers your vibration, makes you feel negatively about yourself or another, increases your confusion or makes matters seem more complicated, it is likely to be an ego-driven viewpoint.  To consider what you might be able to learn from that viewpoint, you need to settle yourself on more authentic spiritual ground.

Out of confusion, a clear and progressive pathway is opening up for you.  It is an auspicious time to give generously of yourself to others, enriching the quality of your connections, expressing spiritual blessings of goodwill and encouragement from your heart.  A powerful blessing is entering your world.  A prayer is now being answered ina  beautiful way.  Spirit gives freely and generously of all the goods things, and the task of humanity is to learn how to receive.  The key to receiving is an open, surrendered, generous and trusting heart.  

The Holy Grail is the sacred chalice.  It is a powerful, living, regenerative and deeply healing symbol of hope and blessing.  It will interact with each soul in its own way.  For your soul, that may involve a recognition that the light is always seeking you, wanting to fill and heal and bless and protect you, to initiate you into awareness of the realms of light, beauty and divine presence.  

It may remind your heart to receive, that you are capable of being a channel for goodness, grace, abundance and pure light.  It may be recognised as a sign of a future blessing, of something truly desired finally coming to pass.  

The sacred grail is hope; it is a blessing.  It is both a  portent of fulfilment and the inner means by which we connect with the loving language of light and truly receive.  In Sanskrit, patra means ‘goblet’ or ‘vessel.’  In learning how to receive, we also learn how to be received, how to be fully beheld, which is an expression of unconditional love.  The sacred chalice reminds us of our potential to hold, but also for the generosity of the Universe in providing for us so we, too, can be held and receive all we need.

Dvara is Sanskrit for a pathway, an opening or portal, a doorway or even a means or method.  Your deepest fulfilment is via the receptive faculty of the sacred feminine.  The feminine way is organic, creative, responsive, spontaneous and effective.  It is not constrained by our human perceptions of what is or is not possible.  To honour and empower the sacred feminine genius in our lives requires a considerable shift away from mainstream, conditioning and into spiritual surrender.  Allowing her method, rather than blocking her loving creativity in our lives, entails the movement from head to heart.

As  you invert your priorities from ego to soul, you’ll invert your locus of orientation from head to heart, from outer to inner reality.  You will trust what your heart knows, whether or not it makes sense to your logical mind – or to anyone else’s for that matter.

My darling you are on a powerful healing journey to connect body, mind and soul with the truth of your spiritual nature.  You are working at an inner level to let go of past pains and open up to your empowerment and grace, dignity and legitimacy in the present moment.  There is a spiritual approach to heal any and all struggles in your life.

If you feel disoriented or conflicted about a choice, trust that this chaos is a consequence of a cosmic realignment with your life path.  Move through it with trust in your heart, patience and a willingness to keep the faith, knowing you will eventually find your way.  The adjustments taking place within you will affect your outer world.  Just like the tumultuous alchemical journey of the caterpillar transforming into a butterfly, your inner transformation shall shape you and your world into the beautiful, inspired, and authentic form it is meant to be.

Thanksgiving, New moon in Sagittarius, Ritual and a Blessing.

Okay, we have lots to talk about this week and a ritual to learn, so make a cuppa come snuggle up and let’s natter!

To all my amazing American friends, Thanksgiving is coming up this week and I hope you take time to just BE, Play, be Thankful and Feel.  For some people family holiday celebrations can trigger all sorts of stuff, some great and some rather challenging. So remember to breathe, set the intention (we talk about that in the ritual section) of enjoying yourself even if Uncle Tom is being a twat!   

Okay, I do have to ask – what’s with the Black Friday Sale thing?  I appreciate a good deal, but I once went to a Nordstrom on Black Friday and it was insane!  In fact I had a little old lady elbow me in the ribs as she shoved past me as she obviously thought I was going for the perfume or whatever it was that she wanted!  Totally terrified me and have never gone to a Black Friday sale in person again.  

With that being said I do wish you all a marvellous Thanksgiving filled with family, gorgeous food, connection, joy and big laughter and remember Gratitude!

We have a glorious New Moon on Wednesday and I will say I love New Moon time as it allows us to plant the seeds of intention, desire and focus.  This New Moon is in Sagittarius and brings opportunities to start over, to reach further, and to rework areas of our lives that have grown stale or become unwelcome.  

As Forever shares: “Take a breath and allow the revitalising energy of the Sagittarius 2022 New Moon to filter through each cell of your being.

Allow each New Moon breath to wash away the stagnancy of the past. Any hurts, any pains, feel them being carried on the wind of your exhale.

Take a moment to honour your lunar journey and think about all you have achieved and all you have accomplished. Whatever has come, you have made it through, whatever has been is now in the past, and as we welcome the dark Sagittarius Moon, it is time for us to turn our attention to the next chapter.

Remember that the sign of Sagittarius is ruled by the Centaur aiming its arrow into the sky. The Centaur is half-horse, half-man and is a natural healer. It holds a wisdom that it has inherited across many lifetimes and across many realms of the galaxy. This wisdom allows it to aim its arrow in the direction that always supports its highest growth.

Under the Sagittarius New Moon, we can all tap into this energy with ease. 

We can all tap into the intuitive wisdom that lives within and know the right way to direct our arrow. The Sagittarius New Moon is also abundant and has the power to bring new opportunities or new information to the surface… if we pause, and tune into our own innate wisdom, we will always know which direction to aim our arrow.

Allow the dark night sky to be your container for rebirth. Allow it to be a chance to press the reset button on an area of your life.

Enjoy the November New Moon for all that it offers and all that it brings.  This is the perfect time to offer up gratitude, forgiveness and write your happy ending.

The other week a few people talked to me about Ritual and what I found interesting was their thought that it was highly complex, time consuming and that you needed multiple “special” tools for it.  Hmmmm, I don’t agree with that.  Sure you can make it that way if you would like, and there are certainly times that you really want to make it super duper special, but for the day to day it doesn’t have to be that way. 

So let me share with you how I view and interpret the word “Ritual” and what it means to me.  

To me a ritual is an intention made manifest, it’s that place of connection with the Divine, Universe, God/Goddess or however you chose to name it.  In other words, a ritual takes an idea, thought or emotion and gives it a physical form in the world. 

So for example when I invite or suggest that perhaps at certain times there are things that you might want to write down, release and burn – guess what?  That’s a ritual.  When you offer a Blessing or a Prayer before eating a meal – that’s a ritual.  When you sit down at New Moon and write your wishes/intentions out, guess what?  That’s a ritual.  All it took was a brief moment of time, paper, pen and something to light a candle or the paper with.  When you gather stones for your Moon Bowl.  That’s a ritual.

To me ritual allows your body, your cells, your essence to understand your intention.  Does that make sense?  So what makes a mundane activity into a ritual is your consciousness while doing it.  If you are smudging yourself or home, what is your intention?  If you are having a salt water scrub shower or bath, what is your intention?  When you light a candle every day when you walk in the door, what is your intention?  

Remember energy follows intention and attention follows energy and actions follow attention. 

Thus, a ritual can be a celebration such as the upcoming Thanksgiving in the States or it can be a practice which can be repeated daily, monthly or yearly.  

When ritual becomes a practice this allows us to go deeper, to explore all the various nuances and of course as we all know – repetition leads to mastery (think of that daily meditation, exercise, journaling etc).   I guess I am saying that ritual is easy.  Set the intention, let the energy follow it, then the attention, but the key piece is bringing it into the physcial!  

Try it this Thanksgiving (if you are in the States).  When you are sitting down to dinner offer up a Blessing, a Prayer, some words.  I found a lovely one from Danielle LaPorte that you might like.  It’s called Light and Resilience – a holiday or anytime prayer.  

Okay, enough chuntering on.  When I went to the cards and asked who wanted to guide, The gorgeous Faery Blessing cards were most adamant!  How positively perfect!   Now if these cards are new to you (which they probably are), please let me introduce them (as it’s rather rude not to!)  “Faeries are present in every droplet of water, every blade of grass – they are everywhere there is a trace of nature – thus every field, flower, and forest is theirs.  They inhabit the wild rainforests and the old castles; they dance within standing stones and burial mounds; they are on the top of mountains and within the grove deep in the valley; and they appear in the cracks in the pavement and beneath the cities in the old, tangled tree roots.  Faeries are part of this world, and they were here before we were born into this world, and they know us better than we know ourselves.  The blessings of the faeries can bring us back into relationship with ourselves, back into relationship with the elements, so that we can become more at home within the world, while creating a personal world which supports our dreams, our wishes, and our purpose. ”

Okay dear heart let’s take a breath shall we?  Breathe in life and prana through your nose and exhale out worries through your mouth.  Allow your shoulders to drop, your jaw to relax and to just BE here in this moment (as this is the only one you are guaranteed).  

I invite you (no matter where you live) to harness the energy of Thanksgiving and really give thanks for all the pieces that make up your most delicious self (yes, even the ones you judge harshly). 

Give thanks for all the various people, places and things that you are thankful for – they could be present day, past day or future day.  List them all in your mind one at a time and as you bring them into your consciousness, smile and blow them a kiss (yes, seriously blow them a kiss).  

See the kiss leaving your hand and turning into a gorgeous gold butterfly that flies off to that person or part of yourself and gently lands on their right cheek and brushes them softly with your blessing, thanks and appreciation.

A BLESSING FROM THE EVER-YOUNG

The Faery gift of joyous energy that flows all the days of your life, whether you be young, or an elder with many years behind you.

Let the gift of the ever-young be yours this day, friend.  The blessing of vitality that runs through the veins, the ability to move freely and joyfully, the sense that there are many years before you, and that your energy is flowing, strong and sweet, in veins and heart and brain and limbs.

It is not that we deny ageing, the faeries say, for we are ancient, yet we are ever-young too.  It is possible to be an elder, to grow older a little each day, yet be vital, full of the flow of life, able to be who you are without infirmity or fatigue or aches and troubles.  These may come and go, but with this blessing, this pure gift comes to you.  

Let the faeries assist you and move through your energy field, clearing all that troubles the parts of you, so that your sum becomes youthful and vibrant and glowing with  your own natural energy, once again.  

For  you, human child, were loved when you were small, and now that you are growing older, the fae love you still, and will lend to you an energy that belongs to the whole world, and which must not be denied to you.

A BLESSING OF RAPTURE

The Faery gift of the sweetest, most intense Joy and Gratitude.

The gift of Rapture is yours.  It is the gift from the fae of a moment that makes you draw your breath in and pause, wondering at the beauty and the ecstasy of existence.  This moment of pure, unadulterated wonder will open your heart wide and bring a deep joy to your world.

It will fill you with the certainty that to be alive is to be blessed, that to feel this deeply is a gift, that to be able to share the wonder of existence and natural raptures is an inspiration to all who encounter you.

It is as if your eyes now can see more clearly, your heart has opened a little wider,  your whole being is leaning into the experience of life and is committed to the wonder in everything.

You feel more connected, more joyful, more patient, and yet more active than before.  You feel a part of a great story, and you know now how glorious life can be.  This energy will flow into you, through you, and into the world, becoming a part of your contribution to the planet – and the faeries are glad that you have finally touched the ecstasy of life and know of the beauty of life.

Even when the moment passes, you will be left with the knowledge of the wonder, and so life will be ever-changed, in magickal ways.

A BLESSING OF A SAFE PLACE IN THE WORLD

The Faery gift of a Sanctuary, a space in which to feel completely supported and loved.

The Faeries know what it is like to find the safe places in the world – for theirs are under siege, and have been for such a long time.  The faeries know how to find the little home in the forest or the garden that is growing wild, the roots of old trees and the hollows beneath the sacred hills.

In these places, they have grown stronger and stayed safe, and they now transfer to you a part of this gift.  You will now find places and spaces within the world where you will feel free to be completely yourself, where you, too, can grow strong and bright again, and need have no fear.

Let there be a shelter and a sanctuary for you and your soul, where you can learn what it is you are meant to do next, and where there is no harsh word spoken, only guidance that can help ease us all into the next stage of our lives.

Let the safe spaces become our homes and our workplaces, our friendships and our schools.  Let the world become a safer space, and let the natural world shelter you with her turnings and showings of the changes about you.

Make not a fortress of this space you find, but let it begin to grow in your heart, so that wherever you go, others feel safe with you, and the world changes, in small but bright and beautiful ways, all as a result of this blessing of the faeries.
