The Moon is Filling, The Veil is Thinning, Samhain is Coming and the Doors are Opening!

Oh my gosh, so many things to share and explore this week! Whoot!

First things first, for all of you who have emailed asking if there is going to be a Magikal Manual for Samhain (Halloween), you bet! It was meant to be ready today, however, with a delicious bout of food poisoning over the weekend, things got a bit waylaid, lol! So it should be out later this week!

And for all of you asking when the doors of Creatrix Circle are opening – later this week, in time for our wonderful Samhain gathering.

On Wednesday we welcome in the delicious Full Moon in Aries, aka The Hunter Moon.

The energy of this Full Moon is deep and intense, but they offer us some wisdom, healing, and insights too, tying in with the veil thinning and Samhain coming.

As Forever shares: This configuration of energy can create a building of tension, but sometimes we need tension in order to inspire action.

Sometimes, it takes feeling stretched to your limits in order to put your foot down, speak your truth, set boundaries, and act, in an effort to change your situation.

The spiritual meaning of this Hunter Moon is focused on internal work and self-reflection. So begins the dark half of the year. Accept and welcome the darkness with open arms and spirit.

It’s a moment to look back in history to our ancestors and the lessons they can teach us.

It’s a wonderful time for gratitude and appreciation for what Nature has given us. You can feel the magical energy in the air right now as the veil grows thin and the ability to communicate with our ancestors or loved one’s increases. It’s an opportunity for spiritual growth and goal setting.

Now is the season for deep internal work and journaling or working in your BOS can be really beneficial. Don’t be afraid to look into that darkness inside of you and figure out what it wants to show you about who you are!

No judgment, be as kind to yourself as you would a loved one! There is so much happiness and magick to be found in the darkness and gloom.

Take some time on Wednesday, light a candle, cleanse your crystals, make moon water – or just sit and reflect on your ancestors, the gratitude that fills your heart and what wants to be found in the warm, welcoming dark.

So what does it mean when someone says The Veil is Thinning? Tess very kindly shares some amazing insight for you.

Let’s begin this exploration by considering that on one level, we are each separate beings with our finite little lives. But on a truer level, we are each infinite and eternal. We have no beginning and no end. And we are one with each other and every single thing.

At Samhain, that relentless, all-pervasive Mystery is as close as it ever gets. And now we’ve arrived at what we mean when we say “the veil is thin.”

You might say the veil is the place where the everyday illusion of separation brushes up against the divine truth of eternity and universal interconnection. The place where form meets spirit, seen meets unseen, known meets unknown.

When we meditate or perform ritual, or when we have a mystical experience of any variety, this curtain parts and we are able to gaze into the place of power, the place between the worlds.

Why does the veil thin throughout October, and particularly at Samhain?

Because the days are getting shorter and the natural world is preparing to temporarily withdraw from the realm of life and growth. The harvest cycle is waning, but it’s not gone.

This means Samhain is a transition: a doorway between the season of life and the season of death. Beneath this realm of constant change, there is a wide open space of eternity. A place of stillness in which the appearance of change arises. A serene openness to which we will always return, and with which we are one, even at this very moment.

Do you see how it all ties together? The Moon, The Veil, Samhain, Nature – all of it? And think, you are a beautiful thread in this amazing tapestry!

Okay, enough chuntering on let’s crack on with the reading! When I went to the cards to ask who wanted to guide, heal and support this week I was delighted to see that The Spirit of the Animals Oracle chose to shine.

So in case you may have never met them, let me introduce you. “Animal Medicine, Animal Totems, and Animal Mascots have had cultural significance throughout our history. Europeans adopted animals as tribal symbols that were later incorporated into crests for nations. China has an animal associated with every birthday. The Romans celebrated the eagle as the symbol for the empire. Our ancestors observed the appearance of animals as omens and signs. Shamans and mystics rely on spirit animal helpers. Native Americans have vision quests to discover their personal animal totem. School sports teams choose animal mascots. It is no wonder that the interest in animals as emblems and how they relate to us still persists. Animals as symbols live in our deepest memory.”

Wonderful! So my darling one just settle in. Allow your breath to bring you back into your body and call back all the pieces of you that you may have left in various places throughout the last week. Just breathe them all back to your core, like welcoming in little sparks of starlight.

LIZARD

How are you gorgeous one?

Here in Canada it is Thanksgiving and there wasn’t meant to be a reading this week – but Spirit had a different idea!!!! So along with the most massive pumpkin pie ever – we have a reading!

So let me ask you a question, okay?

Do you give yourself permission to have healthy boundaries, to speak your truth with compassion and to nurture yourself? If not – why not?

I ask this (with Thanksgiving in mind), as this last week I have had multiple conversations with amazing people who allow their boundaries to be ignored by family, friends, colleagues and then reap the sense of overwhelm, regret and feeling dismissed.

So as the week unfolded (with Thanksgiving weekend rapidly approaching), a niggling started, and then got bigger and bigger. Then it finally erupted mid week with “I don’t want to have to cook Thanksgiving dinner!” Which shocked the shit out of me as I love celebrating most everything and I love the people that I spend time with.

However, we had a birthday gathering two weekends ago which was fabulous. We had a gathering in August as my brother was here. We had a gathering in July to celebrate someone, and then the Solstice gathering in June. All amazing, all wonderful, all I loved and all a lot of work! One day is filled with errands, grabbing ingredients and cleaning. The next day is filled with cooking, hosting and organising and then the day after is clean up. Poof, 3 days gone!

So as this burbling of “I don’t want to host Thanksgiving” kept growing and growing so did my anxiety about how it would be received, and the guilt of letting people down and all the other bullshit stories that can swirl in our heads (aren’t they lovely?).

And then I remembered the phrase that has been walking with me for a while “Tenderly Fierce”.

That place of staying open and vulnerable with a tender heart whilst allowing compassion for all things and people, including self, while fiercely protecting our boundaries.

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Thus, I shared with the kids, family, friends –”I love you but I really just want to do my own thing this weekend. I need some space and don’t want to be on deck for anyone else. I want to play, paint, hike, read, relax, write and watch the leaves dance with no agenda, no schedule and not committing to anyone other than myself.”

It was so amazing to see the response! Most of them got it, and really appreciated the fact that I had shared my boundary with them! (The mothership certainly didn’t, but that’s not a surprise).

So I revelled in the time! I went out and watched the sun rise and light up all the gorgeous leaf colours. I yomped with Danu, exploring new places whilst revelling in the glory that surrounded me. I’ve painted, written, gardened, made an amazing crystal necklace and a delicious Thanksgiving feast for one of all the foods that I wanted to eat (and no it didn’t include Turkey).

I’ve danced, lit candles, put on good music and just spent time BEing, Playing and Refuelling.

And you know what? It made me even more Thankful this Thanksgiving. It made me Thankful that I have released the trauma response of not being allowed boundaries from my family of origin. It made me Thankful for my kids and friends who totally appreciate it and get it. It made me Thankful that using my voice and practicing being Tenderly Fierce are part of who I am. It made me Thankful that I had time to play. It made me exceptionally Thankful for where I live and the gorgeous places to explore and play in.

So you may be thinking to yourself – ummmm, Jenn why the heck are you talking about boundaries?

So gorgeous one, I hope you take time to really look at your boundaries (they aren’t walls btw). Healthy boundaries are a crucial component of self-care. That’s because in work or in our personal relationships, poor boundaries lead to resentment, anger, and burnout.

And I want you to find your voice, whether it is with speaking about your boundaries, your truth, your thanks and gratitude or your pain. Okay?

Now enough chuntering from me, let’s crack on with the reading. When I went to the cards to ask who would like to be present this week it made my heart smile to see who showed up. The amazing Faery Blessing guides were most adamant. As after all, who doesn’t need a Blessing?

Now if these guides are new to you, please let me introduce them as it would be rude not to.

Faeries are present in every droplet of water, every blade of grass – they are everywhere there is a trace of nature – thus every field, flower, and forest is theirs. They inhabit the wild rainforests and the old castles; they dance within standing stones and burial mounds; they are on the top of mountains and within the grove deep in the valley; and they appear in the cracks in the pavement and beneath the cities in the old, tangled tree roots. Faeries are part of this world, and they were here before we were born into this world, and they know us better than we know ourselves.

For humans, many of us have lost our sense of play, our sense of relationship with nature, our courage to be ourselves – as well as our hope, creativity, and personal power. We have looked outside of ourselves and nature and the sacred ones for answers, and in doing so, we have become quite lost. The blessings of the faeries can bring us back into relationship with ourselves, back into relationship with the elements and the elementals, so that we can become more at home within the world, while creating a personal world which supports our dreams, our wishes, and our purpose.

Yes! Positively perfect!

So gorgeous one take a breath. Just a normal breath and then as you carry on breathing allow it to slow down. Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth. Allow in your mind’s eye a rising of your gorgeous heart, your voice and a beautiful circle of silver light around them. Allow this silver light to grow stronger, with you in the center and let that space be filled with all the things you are thankful for. Let the silver circle become a delicious healthy boundary. As you breathe just let it swirl, you don’t have to control it.

A BLESSING ON THE HEART’S CALLING

The Faery Gift of Living from the Truest and Most Pure Call of the Heart

For faeries, what the heart wants, in its purest form, is the right thing to desire. But for humans, we have long practiced smothering the heart with the voice of reason, most often not our own voice, but the voices of others, of cultures and governments and of groups of people who fear nothing so much as hearing the heart’s deep call. And so, with this gift of the faery comes the gift of hearing again the heart’s deep call and having the courage and commitment to follow it, no matter where it may take us. The heart’s deep call will never drive us to a destructive relationship or a hurtful scenario. It is not going to sacrifice our spirit to the making of money or the stifling of creativity. The heart’s deep call, the true call, is beyond this, and will only take us in the direction of the dreams we are meant to fulfil this lifetime.

The faeries can now, with this gift, slowly lift the mist that covers the shining heart within you and open you up to that deep listening to your own self, and help you to value the song of the heart that has been singing to you since before you were born. For the faeries have heard the song of your heart, and have wondered at the difference between its call and the life you have lived thus far. With this gift, your life will move more into accord with the heart, and you will begin to live from that deep, true place – with integrity, with fulfilment, without foolishness or following another, for your own heart will guide you and never ask you to sacrifice yourself to the creation of the dream of another. A BLESSING OF THE LIMINAL SPACE

The Faery gift of Gateways, Sacred Sites, Enchanted Times.

Dear Faery Friend, you have reached a great moment, the point where you can receive the blessing of the liminal space and time. The gateway, the moment, the choice is her. Let the liminal, the in-between, become more and more apparent to you. May the blessings of the sunrises, with their dawn colours and sweet beginnings, be yours. And may the sunsets, with their richness and splendour and their message of coming rest be yours, too. May the in-between spaces, the places where the faeries can reach you so easily, and where you can discover your own inner magick be yours.

THE BLESSING OF THE MOTHERS

The Faery Gift of a Time of Unexpected Gifts and Wonderful Synchronicities.

When this blessing comes to you friend, you receive the blessing of the Mother, the ancient faery being of the land known today as Wales. With this blessing comes recognition for your own kindness and generosity, and so now you will find yourself blessed with the unexpected gift. The old tales tell us that the Mother will reward those who are kind and caring, especially those who care for the land and for the animals. And so to you they are sending a boon – a gift of treasure found in a hidden place, a warm cloak on a ol day offered by a stranger, money readily oing to you in strange and lovely ways, and ease of suffering in an area you thought had no hope.

The blessings of the Mothers are unpredictable, as they will see your own life and what they will bring to you is what your soul most needs to feel solace and blessings. October is here, the energy has shifted, so what does that mean for you? Lots and Lots!!

Happy Mysterious, Magickal, Mellow, Merry, Musical, Misty, Manifesting Monday!

Before we start, do you remember Sesame Street? Every show would be brought to you by the letter something. Thus, this week’s post and reading are brought to you by the letters “RE”. (You will quickly see what I mean!)

October is here and here she came flooding in with brilliant blue skies, leaves that are rapidly changing into brilliant hues of oranges and reds and a lot of Chutzpah! So what does this mean for you? Lots and Lots! Lol.

October brings a big shift in energy, we have 6 planets in retrograde (yup 6!), a New Moon on Wednesday, Canadian Thanksgiving, doors to Creatrix Circle opening in a few weeks and Halloween (Samhain) – a time when the veil is very thin.

So grab a cuppa and let’s have a look at all these pieces shall we, so that you can move through this month with grace and ease.

Okay, let’s start with the energy shift of October. We are being asked to step into the energy of Release-Reinvent. (Doesn’t that sound exciting?) As Lena shares:- This month we get to see what we are made of, where our commitments are, who and what supports us, and whether we are on the right track or not. We get to go through the excruciating process of letting go of old beliefs, wounds, possessions, comfort, illusions, identities, dreams and attachments. We are releasing on a deep level whether we like it or not.

This is the birth canal of our new story. It’s dark, uncomfortable, pressurized and scary, but there is no going back. The new story is in the unfamiliar landscape we are birthing ourselves into, highly creative and full of raw potential. If you can get out of the fear and negativity, judgment, blame and disappointment, you will feel highly energized, inspired and excited about what you can reinvent for yourself.

In some ways this is a pivotal month with such a powerful focus on transformation that it is impossible to avoid it. You can ease the discomfort by being proactive and disciplined about how you manage your release and reinvention.”

How does that make you feel?

So now let’s look at the 6 planets that are retrograde. We have Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Now before you dash off to hide in the closet keep in mind what a retrograde can bring. When a planet is Retrograde, it’s energy becomes more inward. During this inward phase, we have the opportunity to review or reflect our ‘inner-self’ as it relates to the past. We also have the opportunity to RElease, REview, REinvent, RElax, REassess, and REalign.

Which to me are all amazing things, yes?

However, do notice the energy for October is Release and Reinvent and now with 6 planets retrograde this is being compounded even more. Okay, let’s move onto the New Moon in Libra that happens on Wednesday October 6th.

With this Libra New Moon we have four cosmic bodies in Libra, creating a stellium and bringing the element of air strongly into our awareness.

The element of air rules over our thinking processes, and can be fuel for inspiring ideas and new ways of thinking about things. The strong element of air can also stir the winds of change, guiding us to open our minds to new possibilities or opportunities.

It will also ask you to spend some time in introspection. Looking inwards and seeking balance. What needs to be REleased to come to that place of balance? What can be shed in order for you to move forward with ease and joy? This is a great time to REconnect to your internal compass and decide what you wish to carry and what you want to leave behind.

So my gorgeous one, do you see now why I said this reading was brought to you by the letters RE? There are so many wonderful opportunities this month, and especially this upcoming week to really spend time in that delicious space of REleasing, REflecting and REaligning. And it doesn’t stop at the end of this week by any stretch, but with the New Moon it is the perfect time to make some very intentional New Moon wishes.

This upcoming weekend it is Thanksgiving here in Canada. The time (yet again) to REflect, REceive and REmember all the things that you are grateful for (and to also eat some amazing food)!

Then the week after that the doors to Creatrix Circle will be opening to welcome amazing women who really want to deepen into their path, whether it is that of the Witch, the Wise Woman, the Healer of the Mystic. An incredible community where we REmember our true stories and unpack our magick and power. So I am very excited about that as we haven’t opened the doors for 9 months! I’m also thrilled that the doors will open in time for new members to join in our Samhain gathering.

Then last, but certainly not least, is Halloween (Samhain). My most favourite holiday and celebration. Samhain is the festival at which we honor our ancestor of blood and destiny. Samhain reminds us to awaken to our fullness and shed any outmoded forms of being so that we can shapeshift into a new reality.

So my darling one – there is lots happening this month (and we will delve into things deeper as the weeks go on).

With all this being said, let’s crack on with the reading. Phew!

FOGGED IN

Sometimes the mist and fog are so thick that the traveler feels uncertain about everything. Where am I going? What am I meant to do? Why can’t I see what’s ahead? However, it’s in those moments of “Unknowing” that the deepest and most profound answers to life’s big questions can emere.

The secret is to traverse slowly and carefully so as to not fall off the path. Be careful. Proceed with caution in all things as you sense the best direction. Listen to the whisperings of your soul. Trust your inner voice.

Even if you can’t see what’s around the next corner, go forward, slowly and gently. You are safe. When you take the time to go slowly, new perceptions emerge that you can’t see if you’re moving fast. Move away from the rapid pace of everyday life, and step into the majesty of stillness.

Resist the impulse to go ahead with your first instinct. Take time to tune in to your deeper intuition. Power is born in those times when you relax into the present moment.

WATCHING CLOUDS

There are times when the most empowering thing the traveler can do is to step off the path, stretch out, and lie on the earth to watch the clouds float by. This act is renewing and regenerating. When all the activity of the road diminishes and the traveler allows a languid relaxation to emere, this is most often the time when the presence of Spirit can be felt.

This is also the time when significant signs appear. Whatever is most relaxing to you – stretching out in a hammock, watching clouds, taking a candlelit bath, or walking on the seashore – do it….and the challenges in your life will diminish and often simply drop away.

Lie back. Relax. Put everything aside and take time to renew your energy. It’s often when you totally relax that new insights and awareness can emerge.

Take deep, full breaths. Put your feet up. Be present in each moment. Do nothing. Watch clouds. The answers that you seek will emerge easily, but first you need to stop all activity. Take naps. Evaluate your life.

VALIANT COURAGE

The sacred traveler sometimes experiences the unexpected on the road. Perhaps a bear appears or someone with less than pure intentions emerges from the woods. Courage doesn’t mean that you’re not afraid. It means that in spite of fear and hesitation, you take action. Face your anxiety and go beyond the boundaries of limited perceptions of yourself.

Any journey of the heart needs courage, and you’re on such a journey. It takes bravery to go forward when you can’t see around the next corner, but do it anyway. Do not allow yourself to be limited by the beliefs of others or even your own limiting beliefs. Go beyond the boundaries of self imposed barriers.

Live passionately, valiantly and courageously.

This isn’t the time to be timid or hold back. Gather your inner resources and go forward gallantly with your banner of truth waving in the wind. Throw your shoulders back and move forward fearlessly. Take risks. It’s okay to feel afraid, just don’t let it stop you. Don’t play safe.

Hello my darling one! Happy Magestic, Magickal, Merry, Mizzly, Misty, Marvelous, Magnificent, Manifesting Monday! How are you?

With last Wednesday being Mabon (Fall Equinox) – Fall is officially here! Whoot! Whoot!

I love, love Fall! The vibrant colours, the change in the air, pumpkins glowing in the fields and the feeling of magic and mystery building. And best of all, jumpers! Nice big cosy jumpers that you can snuggle into and a great big mug of tea on a crisp autumn morning.

To mark the seasonal change I even dyed my hair! (Am I the only one that does this?) It is now glorious shades of reds, deep aubergine purple and some coppery oranges! Yes, I look like a walking fall leaf and that makes me grin!

Thank you all so much for the amazing birthday messages and wishes, they were so appreciated! It was a stupendous day of celebrating Mabon, hiking, playing, painting my toenails a rich red, changing my hair colour and doing a little apple magic!

The weekend saw a fabulous joint birthday celebration filled with glorious food, laughter, stories and we all played the gratitude game (think of Pictionary meets my mind, lol). So much fun!

I am so thrilled to see quite a few of you claiming my birthday gift to you! You pay what you want and you know what? This is going to be so much fun. Archetypes are rich, deep and if you allow them to walk with you on a daily basis they will open you up in such a delicious way.

If you haven’t taken the opportunity to grab my gift for you, you have until Thursday, September 30th and then it vanishes into the incoming energy of October (and there are so many amazing things coming up for that month.) Mabon Apple Magic

The autumn equinox is a powerful time to cultivate balance, and as it is the second harvest before the fallow period of winter, it is an especially potent time to balance what we take in or harvest versus what we release.

What you will need:
Your Intention
An apple.
Slice an apple in half (not through the stem end) to reveal the five-pointed star inside, a powerful symbol of balance among the elements.

Choose one half to represent what you wish to harvest; the other half will represent what you wish to release.

Hold the releasing half of the apple in your hands and bring to mind the situations, thoughts, etc., that no longer serve you.

Send them into the apple, then compost or bury it, giving thanks for this process of release.

Hold the other half while you bring to mind all that you wish to welcome into your life, sending it into the apple. Then eat the apple, giving thanks for this bountiful harvest.

This is glorious fun to do with your kids as well!

Okay, enough chuntering on – let’s crack on with the reading. When I went to the cards to ask who wanted to share their wisdom and insight with you this week, the glorious “Love Your Inner Goddess” guides came out big and bold. ANGEL OF TRUTH

The truth wants to be told, needs to be heard. It may seem like the whole world wants to believe in a lie, and so you wonder if you are crazy, if you are the only one who is thinking differently and desiring the real story to emerge. Yet those that fight against the truth are even more in need of it! There can be no healing, no freedom, no moving one without it.

You are going to be blessed with a truth revealed, a realisation about yourself, the world or others that will bring you relief. It will happen at the right time. It will set your soul free.

Sometimes, the lies we are repeatedly told become so familiar that we forget that they are lies and begin to believe that they are real. Maybe it’s someone judging us that is the lie. Maybe it’s advertising and the media, which are often more about deceptive manipulation than a source of correct information. Whatever the source, all untruth teaches us the same thing – that we must be afraid and hate each other.

When we are fed so many false truths, it can become hard to remember what real truth feels like. It can even start to seem like the truth doesn’t matter as much as being able to convince another person to accept your point of view. This is like poison for the soul.

The soul needs truth like your body needs air. It keeps it alive. Deep in your soul, you know what is true, and you know when you, or anyone else, is not being truthful. You are sensitive enough to know that only the truth feels good for you. You must give yourself permission to be truthful with your own soul and live honestly, authentically and bravely in this world. It is the only way for you to be really you.

PRINCESS SAVIOUR

When you realise that you are strong enough to save yourself (which you are), you never have to be afraid again. As well as inner strength, you have inner wisdom.

Deep within, you just know when something or someone is (or is not) worthy of your time, energy and attention.

The most precious treasure that you will ever have is the divine gift of yourself. There is nothing that is more valuable, and no one that is worth losing yourself over.

You don’t need to adjust your dreams to fit in with what others say is realistic, sensible or practical. Why seek to limit the power of the Universe with negative expectations? Be uncompromising with your heart’s wisdom. Listen to what it wants and yearns for and believe that the Universe has put those desires there and will show you every step to take to fulfil them. Do not allow someone else to make you feel like you should change who you are or what your heart truly yearns for – not even a tiny bit, not even for one single second!

Our world needs daring dreamers to redefine beauty, success and worth. We need brave souls to shake up our cultural values so that we stop hurting ourselves and each other. You can decide what it really means to you to be beautiful, successful and worthy. That’s how you take back control, disempowering the toxic definitions created by others.

You have the awareness and the power to say no to what is unkind, untrue, unwise. You get to invite into your life what actually has value to your soul. Be your divine bad-ass self and give voice to your daring dreams. Use your positive words of power to express your most beautiful dreams and never give up on those dreams, yourself or the world.

Your vision of what is possible is the healing medicine for our future world and the way to your bliss.

Mabon, Moon Magick – And My Birthday Gift to YOU!

Oh my gosh, lots of deliciousness to cover this week! Mabon, My birthday gift to YOU and today’s Moon Magick with the glorious Harvest Moon! So grab a nice strong cuppa, snuggle up and let’s go explore shall we?

Mabon is almost here (Wednesday), that place of balance, gratitude and bounty – both inner and outer! In celebrating Mabon we give ourselves time to focus on gratitude and open our hearts to the great natural world around us. Gratitude is so empowering and healing: it helps us to create a conscious connection with each other and the universe and see our life’s journey as an endless cycle of in-breath and out-breath, of giving and receiving. We are beginning to turn inward. This is a time of balance just as it is for the natural world around us. We feel the coming of the darkness and are pulled towards our spiritual side in a new way.

A couple of great questions to ask yourself are – Where do I need Equinox’s balance in my life right now? What am I being called to let go of for myself this season? (And these are questions to ask today with the Full Moon energy to support you).

It has been amazing to hear how many of you have taken advantage of the incredible offer on the Mabon Magickal Manual and have shared with me how supportive it feels, how it is connecting you back to a place you had forgotten, and the rituals you are trying out. That makes me smile from ear to ear! Whoot!

Okay, my birthday gift to you (something I have never done before).

As Mabon is my birthday (yes, I know I have banged on about it, but that’s because I love birthdays – fairly much anyones, in fact today is one of my boys birthdays and you should see what I have in store for him – muhahaha!)

Today is the glorious Harvest Moon (or Corn Moon), and she most certainly carries a lot of the energy that is tied into Mabon/Equinox. September Moon’s spiritual meaning is all about balance and abundance, whether you’re celebrating the Harvest Moon or the Corn Moon. It’s a time to honor and appreciate your home. A time for reflection and gratitude.

Full moons always symbolize a time of climactic conclusion, but this is felt even more deeply now as we near the changing of seasons and the cooler months ahead are imminent.

The Harvest Moon symbolizes the connection between life and death, growth and decay, natural cycles, and seasonal times.

The Harvest Moon’s spiritual meaning is all about abundance because Nature is ripe with it right now! If you have your own garden, find ways to bring its beauty into your home. Harvest flowers, herbs, or leaves and incorporate them into a beautiful bouquet. You could also hang them to dry and use later in oils, as smoke cleansers, or Yule decor.

If you don’t have a garden, find a way to get outside and do some foraging. Collect natural items for art projects. Flowers could be pressed and framed or included in your grimoire or journal. You can also bring a sketchbook or just sit peacefully and enjoy the beautiful Autumn season.

A beautiful exercise or ritual to do with this energy of this Harvest Moon is Set Intentions with Moon Water. All you need is you, a jar with a lid, water and some time to BE.

Fill up your jar with water (I often pop a crystal in mine – but please make sure that this crystal can be used in water!) September is a wonderful time to meditate beneath the Moon as the evenings and nights are much cooler. Sit with your hands on each side of your water envisioning your gratitude, light, and intentions filling up the Moon water.

You can even say a chant if you’d like to help focus your intent:

As I sit beneath the Full Moon tonight,

I’m filled with an illuminating and positive light,

I am grateful for_______ and __________,

I honor these last days of summer and warmth,

May this next season bring love, growth, and joy,

to myself and those I love.

Then leave your jar out overnight (with a lid on it) to bathe in the moonlight. There are so many uses for Moon water!

Okay, enough chuntering on. When I went to the cards and asked who wanted to share with you this week I smiled a huge grin when the Oracle of the Dragonfae stepped up. Well, if you’ve never met them, please let me introduce you (as not to is rather rude).

These guides are the magickal and mystical that weave through the threads of every day, they are the Dragonfae, Gods and Goddesses who dwelt in dimensional lands….Eden, Avalon, Ys, Atlantis and Mu, they are Morgan, Guenevere, Merlin and others – fully alive and filled with magick! They are the deliciously magickal beings that have always been there, we just forgot, and when we connect with them, we reconnect with the lost parts of ourselves, allowing us to fully explore the gift of life on this beautiful green and blue planet, known by some as Gaia, by others as Dana, and by many other names.

Note the line “we reconnect with the lost parts of ourselves.”…………..

Okay, take a moment gorgeous one and just breathe. Breathe in the energy of the Moon and Mabon, the gratitude and the bounty, Breathe out the releases that need to come so something new can grow and connect with the lost part of yourself. And as you breathe, allow the question that is forming to come up in your mind’s eye. Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that work for you.

THE GUARDIANS

For wonderful outcomes; all decisions must be made in the spirit of trust and adventure: the very spirit you have displayed in asking us to assist you. In order for you to understand which direction must now travel in, you must gain a higher perspective. It does not mean to try and be “better” or in any way “higher” than anyone else, but to fly as an eagle or one of the Dragonfae would, high above the situation, so you can see its ramifications and lessons, its wisdoms and knowledge spreading through time and space. This way you will know which direction to take next.

We will fly you high above this crossroads and from this point you will see your choices in their splendour and diversity.

The Guardians are your magickal helpers; they are above to lift you up in order to assist you in seeing. If you feel you cannot see, they will describe to you the choices before you, but they will also help you to understand that at this time you are indeed at a crossroads, and that you are under their care.

They are kin and they will walk or fly the road with you, until you are ready to take the steps yourself.

Be unafraid of the decision you now need to make, of the move that may be necessary. Your haven is within your heart, your sanctuary is within your soul.

THE PENDRAGON

I am He who is the hunter, the sage, the father, the provider, the protector. I am he who watches over his people and does his best for his family. I am He: your brother, your father, your husband, your son. I am sheer powerful masculine energy and I am the lover of the Goddess of the Dragonfae. Together we create wholeness, apart we wander alone and are more easily wounded, even destroyed. I have a role: to care for others, to use my physical strength and to use my attributes to fight for those I love. And I will do that. I am King and Emperor and God…and I care for you. Do not fear me: I would not hesitate to sweep you into my arms and hold you.

I love you, but know that my role here takes me away many times from all the love and playfulness that still lives inside of me. Trust in my actions. See the truth and choose a partner who is in action a strong and caring manly man. Think of some of your positive experiences with men this lifetime: from moments with your father, to times when a man has acted honourably. Now, from those examples, begin to allow more of that version of masculine energy into your life.

Gradually, let’s change your ingrained and sometimes negative beliefs about men…and when Pendragon walks in, he demands that you treat the men he sends your way with respect and honour….just as he will treat you in return. You will notice that ignoble men no longer have a place in your life and that you are no longer attracting them. Indeed, Pendragon wonders why you would waste your time with people who do not behave in a noble fashion, and he does not want you to be involved with men who behave deceitfully, who are fearful of their own power, or who take advantage of members of their own family or their partners.

CHENGUANG

I am Dragonfae, thus I am at once a being of copious laughter, and of earnest and deep study. Being Dragonfae, I know when to put aside my serious work and my mission, and play, laugh and love. I know the importance of devoting myself to the playtime that balances, soothes and heals my heart, and lifts the heaviness that sometimes accompanies my days. Can you do this? Or are you too caught up in being taken seriously? There is a perfect balance between serious, cosmic matters and playful light-heartedness to be found. Both Earth and star are necessary for all of us. We are indeed galactic beings ourselves. But most of all, your hope and optimism is paramount right now. Take heart, for delight and joy is yours.

You are about to experience a true reversal in your inner self: you will now think magickally and attain mastery of magickal consciousness. What you think, what you are manifests about you at all times: what you are now is the delicious light-hearted magickal being you were born to be. When we allow ourselves to shine we become who we were always meant to be; and by example we encourage others to become who they truly are. Drop the heavy nature of punishment, guilt and beliefs that no longer serve you.

You are a powerful role model for others; you have experienced the joy of setting your sights high and the healing power of self-belief.

You still have many experiences ahead of you on your journey, but this energy of the star is now your companion and your divine inspiration.
