A lantern. A woodland path. A little tug of curiosity. 🍂🕯️

Gorgeous Soul, will you come into the dark with us?

For eight Saturday mornings, we’ll gather for seasonal wisdom, ritual, dreams, tarot and honest conversation. We’ll meet the wild stories of the season and make space to hear our own.

There’s room for your tenderness, your questions and your deliciously imperfect self.

THE LIVING FOREST: INTO THE DARK
October 31–December 19
Saturdays · 9–11 a.m. Victoria time
Online via Zoom

Bring a cuppa. We begin at the threshold.

A wee message to patriarchy, with love from Scotland. 🖕😂

We’re done with power over people, power over women, power over the planet. We’re here for matriarchal ways rooted in care, respect, shared power and community. And we’re a wee bit tired of being told how to behave, how to look and how to be women in this world!! So here’s our sisterly response… with love, laughter and a little Scottish sass! 😉

A wee note: We’re a group of Canadian sisters and one beautiful U.S. sister exploring Scotland together. Some of us have Scottish roots, and all of us brought a little wyld spirit! ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Available for absolutely everything? Frigging no. 😉

The October 10 Libra New Moon meets Canadian Thanksgiving with an invitation to gather, release and unfurl.

Your needs belong in the balance too, Gorgeous Soul.

A fallen leaf, a bowl of water and one honest intention… your New Moon ritual is waiting. 🍂🌑

The trees are loosening their grip, Gorgeous Soul.

The trees are loosening their grip, Gorgeous Soul. What are you ready to release? 🍂

Sitting in a glorious pile of leaves, I pulled October’s card: Unfurl the Wings of Forgiveness.

Accountability and compassion. The courage to own your part, the tenderness to forgive yourself, and boundaries that honour both.

There’s autumn magick in this invitation—and a little delicious mischief, too.

It’s easy to think of yourself as a good man. The harder question is: who are you when it’s just you and the boys?

When the joke crosses the line.
When the group chat turns ugly.
When a woman is being degraded.
When you know something is wrong.

Do you speak up, even if it costs you your place in the group?

Because women cannot be in every room asking men to respect us.

Men have to demand it from each other.

So I’m asking men: when was the last time you called out another man?

Don’t just teach your sons not to hurt women. Teach them not to stand silently beside men who do.

Summer is letting go. 🍂

Can you feel it?

The light has changed. The evenings are arriving earlier. Leaves are turning, birds are gathering and Nature is beginning that slow, delicious turn inward.

Then on September 26th comes the Harvest Full Moon. 🌕

And maybe she’s not asking:

What’s next?

Maybe she’s asking:

What is already ripe?

What has quietly grown in you this season?

What are you ready to gather?

And what might you finally be ready to let fall?

I’ve written a new Harvest Moon piece through my Seasonal Lens, with journal prompts and one of my favourite slightly ridiculous rituals.

It involves bubbles.

Of course it bloody does. 😂🫧

🍂 Tomorrow, the Wheel turns.

For one delicious moment, we stand at the threshold between seasons.

Before rushing into autumn, what if you stopped long enough to look back?

At the summer you actually lived.
At what surprised you.
What challenged you.
What delighted you.
What quietly grew while you were busy doing other things.

You don’t need a perfect harvest.

You only need to recognise what is already in your hands.

🍂 What grew in you while you were busy living?

That’s the question sitting at the heart of Mabon: The Gathering.

Not what did you accomplish?

Not did summer go according to plan?

But what grew?

A boundary?
A truth?
Some courage?
A delicious bit of weirdness?
Maybe something you didn’t even realise was a harvest until now.

I created a 24-page Mabon journey filled with reflection, journalling, ritual, harvest magick and a five-card Tarot/Oracle spread.

Because before we charge into the next season…

perhaps we should notice who arrived here. 🍎

Today is exactly one week before my birthday, I took a leap and received a “channelled” tattoo.

Was I sceptical? Abso-frigging-lutely. I wouldn’t even see the design until two hours before my appointment.

Then the image arrived—and I fell completely in love.

An apple, lavender, chamomile, rosemary, hare’s-foot fern and glorious Amanita mushrooms, all woven together beneath the stars and the sweep of the Milky Way.

Every piece holds meaning. Together, they form a tiny wild universe—a botanical talisman of nature, healing, memory, resilience, cosmic wonder and a wee bit of Fae mischief.

And now it rests above my heart, exactly where it belongs.

@inkspired_.tattoo.studio , you are an extraordinary human. This was so much more than a tattoo—it was a soulful, intentional experience and the perfect birthday gift.

A little wild.
A little witchy.
A little cosmic.
A little Fae.
And entirely me. 🍎🌿🍄✨
