Weekly Reading January 16th

Happy glorious Monday delicious one! Gosh we are halfway through January already and I have found it to be a wonderful, productive, creative time. How about you? How did the Full Moon go for you last week? I heard from quite a few people that they found the Full Moon (Wolf Moon) rather an emotional, chaotic energy time, and when this happens it’s even more important to remember the tools to help keep yourself grounded and your energy clear and moving forward. Personally, this is when I make sure I am wearing the crystals that work for me and I take little chunks of time out for some self care or just pure belly wobbling fun! Like sledding in the dark with just a headlamp (which becomes quite chaotic as my 3 large dogs keep trying to hop on my sled, or rescue me).

So this week the delicious Wild Kuan Yin Oracle deck made it very clear that they were meant to be the ones that came to play, so those are what we are working with this week. If you are new to working with the Oracle cards you might want to listen to this week’s visualisation to help you get centred and clear. Then trust yourself and pick a card.

GRANDMOTHER DRAGONFLY HOLDS THE WISDOM

Sometimes there is benefit in focusing on the new, seeking out untried paths, developing untapped resources and exploring possibilities. The intoxication of hope, inspiration and optimism combined can be hard to resist. However, if fear, boredom or lack of commitment is beneath the quest for new adventures, if we are believing that what we need or want is always just beyond, we may be dissuaded from applying ourselves to the worth tasks before us right now. If we are an imaginative and visionary type of personality, we may rebel against the mundane tasks of applying ourselves daily to bring an idea to life. However, if we were to stop and look clearly at what we already have in our lives, we could realise that there is much of value waiting to be put to use.

Do not step away from what you are cultivating, even if it seems to have lost its steam, run out of energy or be utterly dead in the water! There is something within what you have been working on that is going to yield something of great benefit. There will be much more success, prosperity, happiness and maturing of your ultimate life goals and journey in tending to what is already further along in development than in something new. Grandmother Dragonfly offers you vision that is wide and unlimited by preconceptions. You may need to look differently at what you have nurtured and how to tap into what it has become to be able to share it with others and allow its sustaining grace to nourish human life in its own way. You will help people in many and varied ways. It is all a part of your natural development and you can trust in it. There is no need for you to ever be impatient or doubting of this.

BE LED BY THE PATH BEFORE YOU

You may question whether you are walking your true life path, in alignment with your divine destiny. Perhaps you have a choice to make and are uncertain s to which decision will be the right one for you. Perhaps you are wishing there were more choices available to you, that there only seems to be one path before you now and yet you are not convinced that it is the right path for you. Fear not. There is no mistake here. Trust in your unfolding life journey, for the path before you is one that I have blessed. Even if you sometimes lack confidence to trust in the path that you are upon, know this – you cannot miss your true path, or your divine destiny.

You are on your path. You are right in your sense that there is a greater purpose calling you forwards. Do not fall into the trap of imagining there is some other way to get there however. You have not made some error simply because your life doesn’t necessarily look or feel the way you imagined it would at this point. This too shall change in due course as your path curves ahead. Your life situation each day is like a breadcrumb dropped by the Divine, guiding you towards your destiny. You get to choose how you respond to that breadcrumb – happily gobble it up and continue on your way, or ignore it and try to venture off elsewhere out of anxiety or doubt.

Don’t make things more complicated than they need to be. Don’t rush in out of fear or panic to try and sort out an issue. Be patient and allow it to unfold. The universe knows what you are in need of, and the Divine Mother is with you always, giving birth, through you, to the fullness of your destiny. Take pause when needs be and rest. Then take the next step. Trust.

HARVEST MOTHER WATCHES OVER ME

There are times on the path when we feel the urge to go within, to withdraw from the world for a time, to claim some space. We may not know why, but if we avoid that impulse, we miss the great benefit that such a process can bring. In this world, we are typically taught that ‘things happen’ through effort directed towards external action. Of course, there is a time and place for this. However, there is also a time when the action needs to be internally oriented, and far more about receiving and restoring rather than doing, about contemplating and integrating rather than strategising and initiating.

There has been so much happening in your outer world and even in your inner world, so much awakening, so much experience, that it needs to be processed, sorted through and released into some sort of useful content. It is safe and timely now for you to declutter your world, especially your internal world – although clearing out something of your physical world may be a way to enhance the process. It is not time to keep taking in more information, or to push yourself to have more experiences, meet new people or take new risks. That will all happen again soon enough. There is something very nourishing, healthy and life-affirming within you, waiting to be tapped into, but you need to make a choice to do that. This is also a time of great abundance, of hidden gifts becoming apparent and being received if you are willing to create some space. There is a rich, growth-fuelling divine substance within your reach, and to receive that nectar of life you need to change pace.

Do not worry that you are turning your back on life. You are not. You are affirming the life within that is ready for your loving care and attention. There is something within that needs to be drawn forth, something that needs to be pulled out of the unconscious and brought to full awareness – a feeling, an intuition or instinct, a piece of guidance or understanding. It will be an important discovery – no matter how ordinary or minor it may seem at the time.

Weekly Reading October 10th

Happy glorious Thanksgiving Monday (here in Canada we celebrate it in October). It has been a glorious weekend filled with family, friends, exploring, turkey and pumpkin pie! We love pumpkin pie soooo much in this house that when a friend says – “I will bring a pie.” I look at them rather askance and say “1 pie for 12 people? Try 9 pies for 12 people!” My boys can happily snarfle down a pie all unto themselves – did I say we love pumpkin pie?

We have a glorious new deck that has done a lot of work this weekend for others and really wants to participate, definitely for the month of October, which I feel is exceptionally appropriate as it is called The Divine Circus, and Halloween is approaching. This is a brand new deck from Alana Fairchild (she created The Sacred Rebels that we have been using) and I love the description of these Oracle cards. “This deck is for those who find it hard to follow rules, conform, bend to authority and generally ‘do what they are told’. May your rebel heart always be bold. May your spirit always be free. May you remember to live the Divine Circus and have fun doing things the way you aren’t supposed to, whilst living your most creative and unique divine destiny.” AMEN to that I say! This deck has a bit of a “darker” feel to it which I find quite interesting as often when we think of those darker aspects of ourselves we tend to stuff them back into that spot they arose from, but by embracing them and celebrating the lessons they can show us allows our light to shine even more brightly as no part of ourselves is being left behind or shamed.

So if you are willing, let’s go on a little journey. If you want to do this with your physical body – great. If you just want to see it in your mind’s eye – great. So I invite you to close down your eyes and take a big exhale – release, release, release. Now take a large inhale, nice and slow as far as you can go, hold for a moment, then exhale with a sigh and release. Let’s do that one again, inhale deeply, deeply and when you are so filled up, pause and hold, then release with a huge sigh. Imagine you are curled up in a tight, tight little ball, you are surrounded by darkness and there is a sense of fear rising up from your ego telling you you should panic. Don’t, just breathe and as you breathe imagine that this little ball you are all curled up into is like a stupendous seed that starts very small and in the darkness. Then as slowly as you can, see your spine start to straighten as you uncurl yourself. You start to open up and your chest feels open rather than concave and into your heart pours a glorious gold divine light. This light is calling you to stand tall with your shoulders back and as you start to move into that position you can feel, sense and see that you are surrounded by light and like the small seed at the start – you have become a strong, healthy plant reaching for the light and stretching out in all directions. As you look down at your feet you see they are covered in darkness and that’s okay, your roots are safe and being nourished. Place your hands on your heart and breathe in the love and protection of the Universe. Feel it course through your body and remember that as the darkness holds the seed of new life safe, until the moment for birth is upon it, new life rises. You can embrace both the darkness and the light. Breathe the glorious light in again and as you release shake your feet and slowly open your eyes.

RED COUNTESS

Deep within, you know what is true and what to do (or not do). Yet there is so much noise and distraction in the world, and even at times in our own minds, that listening for our inner wisdom can seem like trying to hear gentle birdsong in the midst of a rock concert. Even so, you are hearing an inner truth, and deep down, you know it. Can you trust that it is safe to not only hear your inner voice but act on it too?

Give your truths value. Hold your feelings and insights in high enough esteem to pay attention to them, to give yourself time to process what you think, feel and sense. Know that they’re worth acting on, even if that action just means to trust more and stop worrying.

VOICE OF AN ANGEL

You have something to say. There is a unique voice within you that wants to be expressed creatively in the world. Whether it is a conversation you need to have, a truth stated, a song to be sung or a book to be written, honour your voice. Know that it is inspired and can help not only your own spiritual growth, but support others on their path too.

If you do not allow inspiration to flow, you will feel blocked,a s though something that needs to happen naturally is not happening. It is an uncomfortable sensation that can lead to feelings of depression, self doubt, lack of confidence and eventually wear away at your self-esteem. Have trust, courage and confidence in yourself and to follow through on the gift of an idea that has been given to you. This is not a time to keep quiet, play it safe, hold yourself back, or allow others to step up and speak for you. It is your time to speak your truth, to express yourself, to have confidence in your own ideas and inspirations and in your own voice.

DIVINE DISGUISE

Some blessings are obvious – the door that opens, the person who says yes and the instant success of an idea. But not all blessings are instantly recognisable. Some blessings are so veiled that at first you might consider them to be an unwanted development. A concealed blessing is either already at work in your life or on its way. Don’t worry if you feel like things aren’t working out as they should. Soon enough, the disguise will be dropped, and the blessed unmasked in all its beauty.

Blessings are the mysterious workings of the universe, there to help us along our unique life path to live our truths and fulfil our potential. The universe has the knack of knowing just what it is we need, even when sometimes we might think we need something altogether different. This is how it can be that something we resist and reject in our lives can become the very thing we’re most grateful for later on. The real beauty of a situation isn’t obvious to you yet. But trust and have peace of mind and a realisation that the universe does really know what it’s doing. It’s in your corner, on your side, cheering you on and helping you avoid unnecessary pitfalls, even if you don’t know they exist.

Happy glorious Monday delicious lovely!!! Can you believe we are at the end of August, this month has just whipped by in what feels to be a tower of boxes, a wall of heat and a pile of sawdust! We have had tons of baking, energy sapping hot weather and the other day as I was shoveling out a truck full of horse manure to create a gorgeous garden bed a huge flash storm hit. One minute it was sunny, the next it was torrential rain and I was getting covered in horse shit (which I didn’t mind) and it was exceptionally refreshing and cleansing. After the storm passed there was a delicious sense of freshness, newness, unfolding possibilities and calmness in the air.

So with that thought in mind (the storm, not the horse shit), let’s take a moment to drop into ourselves, calm the mind and connect with our gorgeous, strong, loving intuition.

Imagine that you are standing at the silent centre of a great cleansing storm. The wind is whipping around you, you can feel your hair lift with it and there is a sense of wildness, change and unknown. All aspects of your life are rained upon, blown about and even messed up a little. How do you feel?

The storm slowly passes and in its wake you are left with soft sunshine, hair in disarray and slightly soggy feet! Some parts of your life will have been washed away. Some other pieces will be strong and stable, a bit messy perhaps but still there nonetheless. How do you feel?

Underneath your soggy feet you see a pattern forming in the cleansed earth, as if it is rising up from the damp, slightly disturbed soil. A golden gleaming geometric pattern of the flower of life glows. Sense the perfection of the form, see how each flower feeds into the next, in symmetry, harmony and balance. See the golden flowers all interlinking spreading off into the distance and as you raise your eyes from this wonder before you there is a gorgeous rainbow shining brightly in the sky.

So in your gorgeous cleansed and grounded state, trust yourself and pick the card(s) that call to you.

RESTORE AND REPLENISH

You are in need of something so much deeper than rest. You need restoration, replenishment and revival. This will not necessarily come from lying about somewhere taking a moment out of your day or evening activities.

You are more likely to gain what you need by breaking with your routine completely and doing something different. You need some variety, some spice, some change to bring fresh energy into your body, mind and heart. You need to restore and revive yourself by changing the usual flow of energy through your being. You could stimulate this process by going to a different place, meeting different people and taking different action to what you would usually do.

However, it is now time to move, without pushing yourself, beyond what is known, comfortable and familiar. Life is telling you that it is time to put down the paintbrush, the pen, the endless lists and the thinking mind and get into your body. You are in an important transition phase between one level of experience and the next. If you feel as though you are treading water or are in a sort of purgatory – somewhere between your old life and your new life then this especially applies to you. Soon you will have the power and energy you need to reach for the next level – and succeed.

INSPIRATION

An idea has captured your attention – or will do so very soon. It may be a grand vision or the vague sense of something that could be. You are being encouraged to accept the vision, the idea or the inspiration as it is important to your creative and spiritual growth.

The bee is bringing you healing medicine-wisdom from nature to aid the message of the oracle of Inspiration. The bee is a powerful spirit totem. Bees are able to fly with wings that are significantly small in proportion to their heavier bodies. Your idea, even if it seems like a big, substantial plan that might be difficult to “get off the ground” and up and running, can succeed.

Allow inspiration to fill you with enthusiasm, an expectation of magic and marvelous synchronicity, as people, situations and opportunities fall into place to help bring your inspiration into reality. You are meant to think and do things differently . Your inspiration comes direct from the universal creative source and you are being asked to believe and recognise the signature of great intelligence within your inspirational ideas and creative urges – and to act accordingly. THE PERFECTION OF YOUR LIFE

Have you ever seen a storm pictured from above? It can appear to be so beautiful and elegant. This Is certainly different to the ground view which can be quite a violent experience. So too, there is great beauty in your life now. However,at this point in the natural process, you may be experiencing it as anxiety-inducing rather than beautiful. You may sense it as internal chaos. You may feel it is something that is waiting to erupt from within, as a restlessness or an anxiety that you cannot quite articulate but sense vaguely nonetheless.

Whether the chaos seems subtle,strong, internal or external, this oracle brings the same message for you. All is unfolding according to a perfect higher order. You are currently enduring a cosmic, spiritual storm which is having an impact on you. It is clearing things out, ruffling feathers and preparing you for that lovely, super-fresh, uplifting feeling that one experiences after the storm has finally passed.

No matter what appears to be, in truth there is only the unfolding, creative genius of the universe. You are not forgotten. You have not been looked over. You have not been denied, found wanting or rejected as unworthy. Express whatever is needed, however is needed, this will call on the powerful perfection of your life path, as it aligns for the next creative turn of the spiral of life. Trust and directly experience the flower of life unfolding within you and around you.

Weekly Reading August 22nd

Happy glorious Monday! It is so good to be back, I did need the last few weeks to focus on getting us moved and to do some building and renovating – and I am glad I gave myself that time.

It has been super hot here and building in 40C weather has been brutal! There was one day where the sweat was continually pouring down as I am putting in joists and pouring concrete and as I looked around I noticed all my dogs totally flaked out. Is this “The Dog Days of Summer”? Me being me, I went and looked it up – it actually has nothing to do with lethargic dogs, and this is what I found:- “It turns out, the dog days refer to the dog star, Sirius, and its position in the heavens. To the Greeks and Romans, the “dog days” occurred around the day when Sirius appeared to rise just before the sun, in late July. They referred to these days as the hottest time of the year, a period that could bring fever, or even catastrophe!” Thankfully no catastrophe’s here!

Just hot and lots to do!

Okay, let’s get onto the reading. I invite you to take a moment just for you. Stop what you are doing, and start to focus on your breath.

Let’s take a glorious cooling deep breath in by gently closing over the right nostril and breathing through the left. To do this, place your right thumb over your right nostril with your fingers standing up like gorgeous antenna to the Universe. Deep breath in and as you exhale sigh it out through an open mouth. Feel your gorgeous shoulders gently relax. As you keep breathing in this pattern feel your scalp, jaw and cheekbones relax and settle into a glorious space of joy. Take another deep breath and if you are willing see in the centre of your mind a stunning waterfall cascading down over a lip of rock which is covered in lush green ferns and moss, the water then cascades down for metres and crashes down into into a deep cool inviting blue pool of water. Feel the mist that the waterfall sends up, cooling, soothing, very Yin energy – giving and loving. Feel the mist wash over your face and your body, removing anything that is attached to you that is not serving your highest good, anything that is old stuff and needs to be washed away. If you feel comfie with this energy, open your arms wide and receive it, breathing into the cooling, cleansing energy. Stay there for a few moments and let the mist gently nourish and feed you. When you feel ready, take another deep breath in, lower your thumb, thank the waterfall, trust your intuition and yourself to pick the card that wants to work with you this week.

SEEING THE TRUE YOU

Sometimes we believe what others tell us we are, as though the self we see reflected back to us through their eyes is truth. You have been putting rather too much faith in the reflections others have of you – to the point that you might not be honouring all that you are and all that you are becoming, because you believe too little of yourself.

You are to begin to develop the art of direct perception. This is the ability to recognise yourself not only in the eyes of others, but from how you feel about yourself, how you experience yourself and how you observe yourself (with compassion and kindness) from within. This is a step towards a radical empowerment that does not require perfection in order for you to recognise you are loveable and have much to offer. It is empowerment based on the acceptance of all that you are.

If you are getting confused about who you are and your motives or actions based on what others are saying or how they are responding to you, step back. In your quest to be a responsible person, you may be unintentionally taking on the feelings of others, making their reflections of you more than they are in truth. More often than not reflections are more about the state of the reflector than what is being reflected. Let those external perceptions go. Can you just acknowledge yourself? Do so and be free!

NEW BIRTH, GUARDED VIGILANTLY

In every creative process, in every birth, in every opening of a new cycle of life, there is a time of vulnerability. This vulnerability is natural and appropriate. It is the foal learning to become steady on its legs Those legs will become remarkably powerful in time, but the process of growth and maturity has to take place, and that requires some wobbly first attempts. It cannot be any other way.

Within you, there is fresh new life emerging like a vibrant green shoot rising up from the earth. This new life is in need of your attention and your care. This could be a new relationship that needs tending with interest and kindness. It could be a new idea that you need to nurture into fullness, because it is going to hold special purpose for your life path. You will not always need to cloak that which is young. Soon enough it will be able to stand up for itself, but for now, your vigilance and care is most certainly required.

Hug your ideas to yourself as though they were a new lover you cannot bear to share with another. In time the world will be the lover receiving the love in your idea. For now, it is for you to love, for you to hold and for you to observe. Keep your sanctuary pure, this may be your room, a sacred place you visit, your own body, into which you retreat in relaxation or meditation. Sometimes you will find that others have taken up residence in your sanctuary. It is time to focus on the purity, light, love and compassion that dwells within you. Everything else will come and go, and that is just fine. But the purity within your sanctuary is eternal. Firmly denounce any intrusion upon the new life by doubt, fear or sabotage.

SHE FEELS, SHE KNOWS

An illumination is erupting from within you as a vision that is bringing what was once obscured into clarity. This is not likely to happen as a blinding, shocking insight, but as more of a softer, gentle knowing. It is like knowing something without understanding exactly when or how you came to know it. This insight will assist you and you are being asked to honour it. You will know which insight it is at the right time. Your heart will tell you.

Something that is far bigger than the immediate situation, issue or moment is of importance – although you will only have a dim sense of that possibility, at best. The situation you find yourself in right now may not be one of joy, but in time you will understand more of the bigger picture. You are being asked to think in terms of long-term happiness. Sometimes this warrants change or even temporary restrictions in the short term. Through the natural process of transformation, great leaps are indeed possible. You simply must be prepared to surrender into the process with absolute trust.

The situations in your current life are particularly geared towards a more significant manifestation that is coming to you, according to your life path and purpose. This is a stage of preparation and of building a foundation that will hold you strong and centred as your creative journey unfolds and your life path becomes ever more brilliant and luminous. So keep plugging away, remain patient but most of all, be hopeful and trust in the light you sense ahead of you, for it is the light that is within you, simply revealed more fully. And all that is happening now, is happening to that end.

Happy Wonderful Monday delicious lovely! How did you fare with the energy of the Full Moon and the Solstice? A lot of people shared with me that they felt rather fractious, fragmented and feisty! I will admit, I too felt in a very similar vein and found myself a tad sharper with people than normal and getting rather frustrated when things didn’t go according to plan, thankfully I used some crystals, essential oils and various grounding practices to keep bringing me back to looking at things “through a love lens”, in other words, running my thoughts and words through my heart before I opened my mouth – well most of the time! (Apologies to those who encountered me when I wasn’t doing that, or when I was hungry.)

So I invite you before you pick a card or ask a question to drop into your heart.

Gently close your eyes and take a deep cleansing breath in all the way down to your belly button and past it, as you exhale let it go with a sigh. We are going to do 7 of these gorgeous breathes, each one getting a little slower, a little longer and a little deeper. As you breathe imagine a gorgeous huge sunflower is following the sun, from sunrise to sunset. As the beautiful flower slowly pans from one side to another a golden arc of light is being created by the gently moving head of the sunflower.

That arc of light flips upside down and becomes a vessel filled with all this delicious golden energy that drop down like a gentle rainfall of energy, from the golden orb of the sun. Imagine you can bathe in the vessel of golden energy. It feels so nourishing and good. Stay with that feeling and allow it to settle into your heart. Feel this glorious golden light washing away your cares, your worries and radiating out into the world in all its golden glory. In your own time open your eyes and with your heart centred and open to receiving whatever it needs to hear, pick a card.

Ready?

GOING BEYOND NORMAL

On the path of life there are deciding moments where we can choose to go with the mainstream or we can dare to take a bolder, more authentic and trusting way – even if it seems riskier or less safe. To rely solely on logic and science, without incorporating the mysterious and magical is a recipe for an existence that is far too dray! The sacred rebel within our hearts will always choose a juicier approach to life. You are currently approaching such a choice point.

There is a time and place for logic, strategy, planning and measurable outcomes. These are not bad tools to have but we must be vigilant not to worship them or allow them to quash our less rational, but equally valuable decision-making tools: intuition, feelings and those things you know, without knowing how you know them! You are being asked to stay open to the intuitive approach in your life, your work, your creativity as well as in your spiritual journey. You are moving outside of the plan and logic! You are living on the border of what is socially accepted. This is good. This is fringe-dwelling freedom. You now have a chance to live from the heart more deeply and expressively than ever before. You can give up forcing or squashing yourself down into a very limited set of so-called desirable qualities like intellect and control.

You are going to be breaking with tradition. Perhaps not entirely but at least in a way that is meaningful to you. This will require you to have courage in your convictions and faith in your heart truths. This will help you inspire others around you to step out of fear and live more freely and lovingly. It’s time to get a bit wild and let nature take its course!

SHE FEELS, SHE KNOWS

LEGACY OF LIGHT

You are being asked to honour the legacy of light that is your sacred birthright. This is a sacred endowment from the great universal source of light to humanity. It is the light of wisdom, creativity, radical courage, love and respect that is passed down from the heart of each generation to the next. The legacy of light is your spiritual birthright to refine and shine your essence into the world….to be like a sun, radiant and unapologetic of your nature.

The more you are nourished by this legacy of light from your past, the more you become a bearer of the legacy for those that will be supported by your light in the future. A creative choice you are making, or have made, or soon will make, is one that is in alignment with your sacred purpose and spiritual path of healing and growth. The legacy of light cannot be ignored without some detriment to your sense of wellbeing. If you were asking about a particular question and chose this card, then part of the answer to your question is that the issue at hand is one of utmost importance to your spiritual growth.

The legacy of light also ask you to call on the unconditionally loving support that exists for you, every day. This light will offer you all manner of assistance. To not call upon it is like starving because you have no means to acquire food, whilst a feast lays before your eyes – if only you would partake of it! You have some special creative and healing offering to make to the world in this lifetime. You will leave a legacy of light for the greater good upon this planet and you will be lovingly supported in many ways by the great creative universal intelligence when you ask for help.

Release Anxiety And Claim Your Power
