Can You Feel The Energy Changing? Weekly Reading August 28th.

Happy, happy glorious Monday and the last Monday of August (gulp!) How have you been? We have had some huge energy surrounding us in the last 2 weeks and I know some people have felt overwhelmed, anxious, edgy and just a tad out of sorts. However, that energy is quieting down somewhat now – but that doesn’t mean you have to jump up and start pushing for things. It’s more a time of taking Inspired Action.

Now what do I mean by inspired action? Action that is aligned with who you are, action that is connected to source, to you, to moving you in the direction that is in your highest and best good. (Trust me I can take action that is more like piling stuff on so I “feel” busy, but it is wasted energy). So for example, for myself with the massive energy that both eclipses very kindly let rip, and my body and mind responding with agitation and anxiety (as if you remember I said with two eclipses happening it is the time of anything that you haven’t let go of coming up full force and literally pole dancing in your living room!) One thing I know about myself is that when the energy is like that meditation and a project (which is like a moving meditation for me) are the way to sort through it all.

So I sat down and mapped out my son’s bedroom (that’s not as weird as it sounds). He was away in Ireland playing rugby and I needed a project so I gutted his room. Now I don’t mean the – I just took the dirty laundry out, made the bed type of thing. I mean – cut out drywall, mudded, taped, sanded, primed, painted, built shelves, built a closet organiser, a desk, put new baseboards in – that kind of thing. Why? Because I have those skills and know how to build from the ground up, also I wanted him to come home to something delicious that he would enjoy and it was inspired action and gave me a place to process, perk, purge and play with everything. Was it hard – hell yes! Was it worth it – hell yes! Did I feel better – hell yes!

As human beans we are gloriously complex and supremely simple. However, we are faceted and it’s important to pay attention to your mindset, your body, your emotions, your spirit (soul), your words and your actions. So whilst gutting and renovating I did a wonderful 5 day Blow Up Your BS Challenge with the very talented and skilled Kelly Ruta. If you want to get out of your own way and release the BS then Kelly most certainly holds the space, kicks your arse and helps you look at the stories that you are holding onto. I highly recommend checking her out for mindset work as she is great.

So with both of those boosts and the energy changing from the lazy hazy days of summer to kids back to school, last quarter of the year, the cooler mornings the earlier sunsets there is motivation and inspiration flying off the shelves! Which in turn for me has literally opened the door on creativity, joy, flow and really getting even more clear on who I am, how I show up, what lights me up, what I can release and how my business, family and life are going to look. So I have been mapping out Inspired Actions pertaining to my work, my self, my home and a myriad of other things. Thus, remember to not push, but to allow and then take the step.

Phew! Sorry went on a tad there! With all that being said let’s get down to the reading. But before we start I invite you to stop and stand still and drop into your heart and get clear – perhaps the question (if I can advise you) is – What inspired action can I take to……… whatever it is for you. Remember, no pushing, no controlling, just being in the place of willingness to listen to the message and take action.

The deck that wanted to come play this week is “The Divine Circus”. In a nutshell this is a deck for those who want to live a life of sacred subversion and creative confidence. Pretty appropriate with the theme being Inspired Action. The crystals that came to play are Emerald, Brecciated Jasper and Howlite.

Let’s take a moment, slowly breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Let your jaw relax, the muscles in your face, scalp and neck relax. Just breathe. Then when you are ready pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

DARK HARLEQUIN

Bells are ringing from deep inside. Something that once had to hide is seeking your attention. It want out! It wants to be free! As you release what was once shut away, your discomfort shall turn to glee. You are a spiritual adventurer! You are not afraid to go to the edge of what you know, of who you have believed yourself to be. Even when before you there lies the darkness of unknown worlds, of undiscovered parts of you, even when you feel uncertainty, discomfort or doubt, you are still willing to figure out what it’s all about,

So you’ve come to a place in you, and in your life, where you don’t know. You don’t know what’s happening. You don’t know how to work through it. You don’t know who you are (well, not all of who you are). You don’t know what you don’t know. You are at the point of not knowing because you are growing. There will be surprises. There will be discoveries. You’ll feel awkward at times, like you are trying to see in the dark.

Don’t be afraid to let there be some inner rattling and rampaging. You are at a time when you are naturally diving into the darkness for a healing purpose. So ask the difficult questions. Do things you wouldn’t normally do. Experiment with thinking in ways you wouldn’t normally think. Be willing to let everything change for the better by first letting go of how things are now. The messier your inner world seems to be right now, the more you can expect complete and utter transformation as a new order comes into form. Expect the unexpected, for you were born to grow into what is happening now. It’s time to let the wild thing out!

THE VELVET QUEEN

A rare prize is to be bestowed upon you. The universe is confirming that the most luscious dreams of your heart are being nurtured into manifestation. To this end, you shall be given a saving grace, an intervention if needs be. To be open to receive, surrender doubt in favour of unconditional trust. Through your trust and optimism, you make it easier for the universe to give you a most deserved gift. A rare prize is worth the effort to attain it. Your efforts will need to include loving discipline. Loving discipline is not about trying to bend the world according to your will but rather about readying yourself to align with the spirit of what you want to receive.

To receive, rather than attempt to take by force, requires strength, trust, spiritual intelligence and courage. It is easier to try and force things from a fearful place, but it is more effective and empowering to learn how to attract and receive through consciously chosen surrender. This allows the universe to do its best work for you! So it’s time to change your consciousness. Release issues around self-worth. Why should you not be empowered and assisted by the universe to create a life that fills you with joy and feels ‘just right’ for you? Of course you should, can will be! Release any lack of self-worth that would get in the way of your opening in complete trust to the universe.

Your most prized dream is within reach, through a combination of letting life unfold as it will and your own disciplined efforts. Don’t give up. You cannot make the fruit on the tree grow faster – that will happen according to the rhythm of life – but you can certainly do your part to be ready to climb the tree at the right moment to savour the sweetness of success!

CONFETTI

You will soon have cause for celebration. Whether a big win or a token gain affirming that the best is yet to come, sweet success is headed your way. Prepare to celebrate! It’s time to find the celebratory spirit within. Maybe you already feel it, or maybe it’s the last thing in the world you can imagine feeling right now, but whether it’s on your radar or not, a cause for celebration is imminent.

It’s time to spend your energy in playfulness. If you want more success, happiness and celebration in your life, you can enhance that right now by being happy for the success of others around you. Do you know that success is like a wave? When you genuinely congratulate another and feel happy for their happiness, your own energy field gets a jolt of that same energy. You attract it into your own life. You deserve success for all you are and all you’ve accomplished just as much as anyone else.

So be happy for another – even if a part of you wonders if there is enough to go around, if maybe they have taken your piece of the pie, or if you wonder if their success is really served. Let such thoughts be without adding to their power for thinking such a way. Just take charge and choose how you want to respond. Be happy for them and be happy for you as the universe is giving you notice of a party – and you are most definitely meant to attend – and it’s heading your way.

So glorious one, I wish you a fabulous week. Remember to step back, take a moment and ask yourself – is this action I am taking aligned with who I am and what I believe. If not, in my world – if it’s not a Hell Yes! Then it’s a Hell No! I am hoping to take next Monday off as it is Labour Day weekend here, but we shall see if Spirit says a Hell Yes, or a Hell No! Drink water, be kind to yourself and get the heck outdoors whilst the weather is good. Oh yes, and if there is a project you have been wanting to do – either do it or release it.

New Moon, Solar Eclipse and Mercury Retrograde – Wow! Weekly Reading August 21st.

Happy glorious Monday delicious one! How have you been? How has your week been? Have you felt at all tweaked by the eclipse energy? This last week I most certainly was – there was that sensation of not being comfie in my own body, anxiety and restless sleep, have to say it wasn’t pleasant to say the least! Thankfully there was the great outdoors, projects galore (I gutted, revamped, drywalled, painted and redid a room – I call it therapy).

So we had a solar eclipse today on this glorious New Moon and it is also the second New Moon in Leo in a row as well as Mercury Retrograde (that could explain a lot of bumps and lumps this week, yes?). Were you able to experience/watch the eclipse? It was incredible and certainly conjured up mixed emotions and made the hair on the back of my neck stand up! With this being the second New Moon in Leo I think the Universe is giving you and me a very clear and strong message – this is the time for transformation, showing up and standing tall and being the biggest brightest version of yourself. Are you paying attention? All of these things are so needed now more than ever, take a look around the world, it’s time to show up, stand up, and shine. You may think people don’t need your energy, but you are so wrong and we are being given a beautiful reminder with this second Leo New Moon and the double eclipse that has invited us to deal with that steamer trunk we have been dragging around of old shit, limiting stuff and blaugh. Unpack that trunk and share yourself and your gifts!

With all that being said the deck that jumped up to the forefront to come play for this reading was “Sacred Rebels” which I think is appropriate at this time. As this deck is dedicated to “those who aren’t afraid to rattle cages, ruffle feathers and rock boats, from a place of loving service to the spiritual evolution of humanity.” Hence, we are working with them. The dwarf sunflower’s wanted to be included so they were (and then they got popped into a lovely drink of water), and Selenite as the amplifier of all the energy that is here. The most appropriate place to do this reading was on the rocks as every single rock is a crystal of some form or another. So shall we begin?

Breathe gorgeous one. Not from the upper chest breathe, but from the belly. Breathe long and deep in through your nose and sigh it out your mouth. Breathe in so much air that you can feel the corners of your belly expand and then sigh it out so you can feel your lungs contract and your belly withdraw to your spine. Repeat. Breathe. Just take a moment and breathe. Feel your jaw relax, your scalp relax and the rest of you relax as it follows your breathe. When you are ready pick the card or cards that resonate for you, that want to come work with you this week, that want to share their message and wrap you in a blankie or take you on adventure.

EVERY JOURNEY STARTS WITH A SINGLE STEP

You are on a journey. Yes, it is an internal journey but there is also a physical expression of this journey that is going to become increasingly important to the fulfilment of your destiny in this lifetime. Your journey has started on the inside but its destination will be the physical expression of an internal healing. This journey will draw upon what you have learned and mastered over the course of your life – so much so, that you may feel as though your life experiences have prepared you just for this particular adventure.

You have all that you need within you. This is not a time to worry about what you are going to take with you. From within your heart, you will sense what needs to come along for the ride and what is best left behind you now. You may be surprised at exactly how much can be left behind without you feeling concerned or anxious. You will be able to travel far lighter than you ever imagined possible. To be best equipped for this journey, you will need a lightness of heart and the realisation that change can be an incredible blessing, even if what you are leaving behind is something you found secure, safe, familiar or comforting. Just as the butterfly leaves the chrysalis behind when it is time to spread its newly formed wings, so too are you ready to leave behind what once was and embrace what is more appropriate for you at this time.

The apparently small steps you are taking in an area of your life, important to you right now, are actually far more powerful and constructive than you realise. Sometimes we are gaining ground but the effect is not immediately obvious. This doesn’t mean that nothing is happening. It simply means that the effects of your actions are cumulative and soon they will begin to overflow into the physical world with a positive impact that my surprise you. Your inner and outer journeys are blessed with positive energy and all you need to do is keep going – one step at a time.

DEFEND TO THE END THE WORTHWHILE

Beneath the lies and illusions, pretty as they seem, you know what is worthwhile. All that is genuinely and truly essential for the heart to throb with life is worthwhile. Anything that dulls it or suffocates its vibrant aliveness, must be questioned, challenged, and more than likely cast aside, for the heart is our key to living an authentic life.

You are a sacred warrior – a defender of the heart. You have cried genuine tears of your own grief and also the grief of the world. You have felt the need to protect the presence of love, for whilst it is exceptionally powerful, it can too easily be smothered under lies and fear. Stop heading the voices that tell you “Oh stop being so sensitive! Stop making such a big deal out of things!” Love is the biggest deal there is. What else is worth being so sensitive about?

The sacred warrior is vigilant that the presence of love is not chipped away by fear, criticism, doubt or untruths. Even if others find the unflinching honesty of your feelings difficult to handle, even if those feelings are expressed with gentleness and compassion, the sacred warrior honours the task of being more faithful to love, than to anything else. This includes the fear of loss. Actually it includes the fear of anything at all.

The darkness will be intelligent and sneaky. It will tell you that it doesn’t matter, that this one time you can forget what you promised, that you are just one person and that you can’t make difference. The sacred warrior within will fight with love and honour to be true to what has meaning, and never, ever allow it to be cast aside – even if it seems easier in the moment. You’re being asked to stay strong and stand your ground. What is happening, or soon will be happening is worthwhile. So hold tight. Ask for help to heal.

WHAT IS ALREADY WITH YOU

You hold in your hand that which you seek. In other words, the pair of spectacles you have been rummaging around the house for, are sitting on top of your head. What you are seeking, perhaps by exploring far and wide, is actually right under your nose. You may not like this idea! Is is so much more wonderful to imagine there is something yet to find. Of course, there is unlimited creative potential and always something more that can be – yet in this instance, it is important for you to know that you already have what you need and what you want. That doesn’t mean it’s the end of the story, although it does ask you to give up the fantasy that a perfect solution lies in the future somewhere. Instead it asks you to acknowledge that everything necessary for success is with you now. All you need do is accept this and act with what you have available to you. This is good news. This particular chapter has a happy ending in store. That ending will become real for you just as soon as you stop trying to skip forward to the next chapter. Better to be completely present in the now. From here, the next phase will naturally happen without force on your part.

Don’t make the mistake of believing that what you need is behind you, lies with another or is yet to appear. You have all that you need to take the next step in your life and from that, all else will flow. And there is a sweetness to that.

You are more ready than you think you are. You are more prepared than you realise. You don’t need an entire army of resources to move ahead – although you may find that when you do move, many resources suddenly become apparent. All that you need in this moment is just one sweet act of nourishment. That is enough to take you out of backwards nostalgia or regret, and forwards into what is awaiting you now. Be brave. Dig deep within. And enjoy the sweet surrender.

Mid Eclipse time and cooler weather – Weekly Reading August 14th.

Hippity, Hoppity, Happy cooler Monday! (It finally rained here after 2 months). How has your week been? What weird, wonderful or purely playful things did you do? How did you find the energy of the Full Moon and partial lunar eclipse? Keeping in mind we are halfway between eclipses as there is a solar one next Monday on the New Moon! Remember to release, ground, relax and be kind to yourself.

This last week seems to have flown by as the beginning was mad preparation for my 17 year old son to fly to Ireland as he had been selected to play rugby internationally, so there was lots of excitement and tension. The tension came from having helped a friend out by loaning him my vehicle for a week prior and him returning it on the night before we had to leave with no brakes!!!! There was no way I could take that vehicle over 3 mountain passes, but thankfully my gorgeous friend Christine was game for a road trip and stepped into the breach.

We drove to Vancouver on Wednesday which is about a 9 hour drive as the boys flight was Thursday morning. My original plan had been to drive, get him on the plane, turn around and come home (such a silly rabbit), instead I decided to stay a few days and visit family, enjoy the ocean and just play. So that was exactly what I did! Glorious tandem bike ride with my most amazing friend along the ocean, exploring markets, popping over to the island and spending time with my other wonderful son, niece and other daughter – which was magical. Exploring tidal pools and watching the little hermit crabs maneuver themselves around. Whilst we were all sitting on this rocky outcrop by the ocean watching the crabs a huge otter hopped up and came and hung out with us. He got as close as 5 ft away and then just rolled over and rubbed himself on the rocks and played. It was pure delight. I love, love, love the ocean – the energy, the tides, the sense of expansion when you look out and there is nothing but water. Quite a delightful way to spend a few days. Then to come home to rain and smoke free skies was an absolute bonus!

With all that being said, the treasures that I gathered from the rocky tidal pools wanted to come out to play for this reading and the Dragonfae were most insistent that they be included. Thus, this reading was done on the rooftop of a huge tower in Vancouver overlooking English Bay and Stanley Park and miles and miles of ocean. So I invite you to bring in that fresh, strong, tidal energy into your body as you breathe. Gently close your eyes down and breathe in the fresh salt tanged air, and as you sigh out your breathe feel all the tension draining out of your body. Keep breathing long and deep in this way and imagine the ocean breeze caressing your hair and clearing out your energy, refreshing it, revitalising it and making it all clean and sparkly. When you are ready open your eyes and pick the card, or cards that call to you this week and then let’s go see who wants to work with you!

THE LISTENER

How much have you missed because I could not have the space, the wild quiet, the blessed peace in which to whisper my secret straight to your soul? How much more could you be aware of if you simply took the time to be still and silent? The whole world can be heard in a moment….and now it is your time to be still, and to be silent. Listen and truly understand what it is you are hearing. Listen with your being, your entire being, not just your ears. Allow your senses to be the soul’s messengers. Sometimes we need to be quiet and listen. But first of all we need to be quiet. So many people talk so much of the time. And the talking and the talking and the filling up of space simply drowns out the messages. The dragonfae do not decry conversation and robust dialogue, the joyous clash of friends talking with each other, or the singing out of voices….especially when raised in joy, celebration, song and good cheer! But this card speaks of a time when it would be right for you to be still, and to listen, as the world whispers her secrets to you. We do not want to be making so much noise that we drown out our own signs and messages. So be still. Be silent. And be ready for the messages to come in sweet, subtle and magickal ways.

It’s time to remove yourself from the hustle and the bustle, from built-up urban and industrial areas, and go deep into nature and find the still pace of solitude in which the soul can speak – and be heard! Turn down the stress, the demands, the social whirl, the noise that can drown out meaning. In the words of Shakespeare, chatter is often “a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” You would do well to seek the counsel of spirit in nature, to rest in a quiet grove within. Furthermore, when the soul speaks, listen, come into alignment and act from that space of integrity. The Listener does not feel the need to tell all about what she has heard. In fact, she is content to simply act, without broadcasting her moves, and to allow her dreams into being, to follow the guidance of her message without exhausting the energy of the message by talking it out.

She is silent and she seems still. But all of her actions are powerful and purposeful because they are born from a pure, still place of energy. Hers is the quiet glade and sudden, glad truth of the soul, and in these truths are great wisdom and delight.

THE DAWN WATCHER

Never think that you are alone in this world…you do have guardians and I am one of them. I will literally ring alarm bells for you when you have need of forewarning and foreknowledge. There is nothing to fear when you receive these messages; you simply need to pay attention, take note and act when the time is right. I will always alert you and it is my particular domain and charge to watch for the new sky as the sun rises and to let you know that what you have hardly dared even hope for has every chance of coming true. Watch for the sunrise and know that as she does, so too do your hopes. And these bells will ring out for you to let you know of the approach of new growth, new warmth and a new energetic time coming for you. Listen and hear the bells ring for you. And then you shall awaken from your soul sleep!

It is time to be alert and aware; to arise early and to pay attention to the signs that abound around you – selectively. Focus on your mission at this time and work towards it. Be determined and do not allow others to distract you. Call on the Dawn Watcher to assist you to focus on the messages that are most worth hearing, and so that you do not go into fear. The Dawn Watcher is a very powerful guardian and will help you greatly be alerting you with plenty of time; all you need to do is pay attention.

Listen more respectfully to the bells of dreams, deja vu or of physical reactions to particular energies. The Dawn Watcher only weakens when you pay her bells no head, when you will not wake up and hear the calls. Know that you are always being watched over and being told through your body, your mind and your spirit of what is to come.

THE MORRIGHAN

I see now that events are moving extremely fast; this is a time of rapid change and creation, so rapid that you may wish to slow down, just a little. However I say to you clearly that the time to act is now; and that procrastination and hesitation are your enemies at this time. I can lead you forward through this time, and help you pick your way through the minefield before you. This is a time of testing and darkness, but through this you will grow strong. Be aware! If you have resisted your abilities, or felt blocked in terms of following your life path, these changes will take place very rapidly because they have been waiting for a signal to be able to come in, and they are working hard with you so you do not have to endure a long, drawn-out process of change. Truly, you are ready. Take flight with me, and know that taking your own path seriously and acting now with deep integrity, is the way for justice to reach you.

Do not give in to panic and do not run. Now is the time. If not now, when?

You have already tortured yourself in a thousand ways with your thoughts. You cannot avoid change; each day your cells renew, and all you have to do is breathe in and out for this process to take place. You are confusing stasis with safety – there is nothing to fear, there is everything to gain. A turning point in your life demands action on your behalf, and backing down or avoidance is not the answer. Draw strong boundaries and claim your space. Face trouble rather than turning away. Confront injustice and change the rules by which you have felt bound. Learn to work with your strength and your own ability to create deep change. Lose fear of your own power. Let your courage feel inspired and know that destiny has given you an opportunity to be the courageous being of action that you truly are.

Phew, that was a very cool reading. Get silent and listen, pay attention to the messages and then take action! Love it! Happy Full Moon and Partial Lunar Eclipse – Weekly Reading August 7th.

Hello, and happy, exceptionally smoky Monday and BC Day (which is a holiday), and when I say smoky, I mean smoky. It is like having a thick fog layer or grey clouds making everything exceptionally hard to see and the sun glow like an orange ball of fire (if it manages to shine through the smoke). I know I said last week that I was taking today off as it is a holiday – and that was my plan, however Spirit had a different plan and kept nudging on Saturday, then on Sunday and finally literally hollered at me today that a reading had to happen. So guess what? A reading is happening. It also made total sense when I finally surrendered (not capitulated) to the message as it is the Full Moon with a partial lunar eclipse and I received 2 new gorgeous decks this weekend. Whoot! Whoot!

Now, a quick note, this is an interesting month as we have a partial lunar eclipse today and a full solar eclipse on the New Moon on August 21st. So the energy is going to be deliciously interesting, also the theme for August is re-evaluation and reset, which is what the eclipses invite us to do. “Eclipses can generate an awareness of something larger, running the show and they poke holes in our ego/identity revealing things within us that we have been avoiding or are totally unaware of.” Hmmmmm, well this should be fun shouldn’t it. So with this south nodal, lunar eclipse in tropical Aquarius happening today, it’s all about the release, reset, letting go of the past and moving more confidently into the future and some change after the solar eclipse. Phew, so buckle up, remember to ground into the earth and be willing to re-evaluate, release and reset. (Remember Full Moon time is a great time to release!)

With that all being said, when I went to do the reading my 6 year old decided to come hang out and touch every crystal I have as I set the space and cleansed everything. He then pottered around the garden and came back with a mint flower, a corn stalk and oregano flowers and said in a very serious voice that these were needed. So those are the glorious plants that joined us today. The wonderful crystals that hopped out to play are peacock ore and moonstone. One of the new decks was very eager to come and join in and so after she was cleansed, given a mission, blessed and consecrated, here she is. Thus, we are working with the Oracle of the Dragonfae by Lucy Cavendish. So let’s go look shall we?

Remember to breathe, remember to trust yourself and invite whomever or whatever you feel connected to into your space, breathe in deeply and release it as a sigh and when you are ready pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

So let’s go see who you chose, or more likely – who chose you……

Tatsuya

We will go through the crucible, every one of us, and emerge changed. Ourselves but not ourselves. Now it is your turn, and you need not be afraid. For your fear will only hurt you, while your courage, in being tested and exercised, will show you so much of your great potential. For you are heroic, noble and able to pass through this. And while it may change you, it will do so in magnificent ways. Are you ready? No? Well, put aside your fear and follow me anyway. I will teach you how to face that which you fear, and move forward anyway.

You are now in the process of deep transformation and by entering this door and facing the unknowable, you will find new hope dawning before you even dare to dream of it. The second you take action is the moment you will be changed. The more you explore and investigate this capacity of yours to be courageous, the more astounded you will become at your own ability to miraculously, naturally transform yourself. Intellectually, you understand this. But your body hesitates at the commitment you know this change will take. Trust this courage, and the blossoming of it; do it now. You will then start the process of moving through to a new stage.

Your fear masks a deeper dilemma; that of not being your true self and of not knowing that self. Aine and the Guardian

Here I stand, offering to you the protection and safety of my guardian being, wanting you to know how very protected you truly are. Never need you fear again those who have done you harm. This is over, and never again will disrespect and tyranny blight your path and light. Know that from this moment on, I stand with you, as does this magnificent Moondragonfae guardian, and together we say you may live as you wish, you may love as you wish, you may worship as you wish. No longer will others who feel they know best have their way with you, in spirit, in your heart, in your body, in your eternal soul. You are a radiant being of moonlit power, and the Goddess, our Mother, is overjoyed at your brilliance, your wit, your beauty, your freedom.

I repeat. You are safe. You are protected. You are divine. All else is a lie.

Allow yourself to take flight, and explore the night and the freedoms it holds. The Moon cycles have much to reveal to you now, and as she wanes and waxes, and shines fully, you may stand beneath her and feel her rays shining through your every cell, filling you with natural magick that sustains your freedom, your true soul self, and brings you a warrior strength that by no means decreases your brilliance’s as a woman, or your femininity. Be receptive, and Aine will guide you to her magickal places, and this galactic Dragonfae being will help you see beyond our own star, the Sun, into the realms beyond. Happy delicious Monday and Happy Lammas!!!

Now you may think I meant to say Llamas, but no, no you would be inaccurate. July 31st – August 2nd is the Festival of Lammas, the very first harvest festival of the year. How has your week been? Here we are still experiencing an unrelenting heat wave with no break in sight. Part of me wants to bitch and complain and then part of me reminds the other part of me about the snow and dark of winter. (Thus, I only have a little bitch). A friend of mine and I co-created a surprise birthday party for another friend on the weekend and it was amazing and glorious fun. Lots of people old friends, and new friends, all ages between 8 – 70, dogs, cats and amazing appies, along with exceptional music, dancing and great conversation. It was pure delight. How to tell you have thrown a good party? It’s 3am and people are just leaving as the mood, the conversation and the ambience were spot on. Ladybug balloons hanging from the under canopy of glorious maple trees, candles everywhere and dancing on the grass. Ahhhhh. So lovely.

So as I sat in my garden on Sunday reflecting on the fun gathering of the night before I had an overwhelming sense of contentment (albeit sleepy contentment). A sense of connection, a sense of all being right with the world at that moment and as I opened my eyes to look around I realised that my garden had become a Van Gogh painting. There were sunflowers everywhere, all different colours, shapes and sizes. Everything from a little one that is only 6” tall to one that is towering at 12 feet. The sunflowers were mingled in with the heritage tomatoes, overshadowing the roses, popping up next to the pole beans and peeking out from everywhere. What made this even more glorious is that sunflowers are one of the symbols of Lammas! So there was that lovely chunk of time where I was able to recognise, embrace and surrender to contentment, joy and peace of the moment and let all little niggly worries and thoughts such as – I should weed the garden, isn’t there a load of laundry I should do, slide off like water drops on a nasturtium leaf!

So with that energy in mind the glorious Wild Kuan Yin deck threw itself at me for this weeks reading and the large crystals of Rose Quartz, Crystal Quartz and Stilbite. Oh yes and Nasturtium flowers (none were harmed needlessly, as once the reading was done they hopped into a yummy salad). So yes, the reading was done outside, amidst the grass whilst listening to the crows chortle and watching the sunflowers as they bobbed.

So take a moment, just breathe, just BE, just tap into your glorious essence and relax. Breathe, trust, receive. When you are ready pick a card or cards that call to you and know this is the message you are meant to here at this moment in time.

HARVEST MOTHER WATCHES OVER ME

I watch over you whilst you gaze within, for the time has come when you are best to gather your energy and direct it to your inner world. So much has been happening around you and within you. So much, that it needs time and attention to now be distilled, integrated and digested. It will bring you greater peace and a sense of completion to do this now. It is time to harvest your emotional world to be ready to gain the rich wisdom of your experiences. Then you shall be ready for us to begin again, for another chapter in your life journey – wiser, stronger and ready – together.

There has been so much happening in your outer world and even in your inner world, so much awakening, so much experience, that it needs to be processed, sorted through and released into some sort of useful content. If you do not do this you will feel a sort of uncomfortable fullness within, a sense of not being able to move forwards in life as freely as you would like. It may feel as though you need to empty out, create some space and find resolution within before you feel ready to take in more of what life has to offer. If such a natural process is not allowed, you will be pushing yourself towards overwhelm, fatigue, confusion and depression. It is safe and timely now for you to declutter your world, especially your internal world – although clearing out something of your physical world may be a way to enhance the process.

This is a time of great abundance, of hidden gifts becoming apparent and being received if you are willing to create some space. This is not a time to keep going with momentum or pursuing something simply out of habit. There is rich, growth-fuelling divine substance within our reach, and to receive that nectar of life you need to change pace. So whether it is journalling, closing your eyes and dancing in your living room, meditation or to relax and do nothing you are being advised to slow down and take some time for you.

BLESSING OF THE KHATA BESTOWED

In your heart a desire for union grows, an impulse to move deeper into love’s embrace. As you open your heart, I pour forth my healing balm and my blessing. It is never too late for love. It is never too late for joy. It is never too late for connection. As my blessings vests in your heart, a path will open up for you, leading you into love’s expansive landscape. You too shall be as enchanted in love as I am, cherished and adored, surrender in love. Love’s blessing and presence finds you now. You are worthy of such blessing and shall be safe in the joy of its embrace.

In the Tibetan tradition, the white silk scarf, known as the khata, is a positive symbol that augurs new relationships with blessings for good fortune It is a symbol of devotion, and is also a visual reminder of divine blessing granted for a successful transition into a new chapter of your life in whatever way that manifests, including through a new or deepened relationship. This is your khata from the Divine Mother, Kuan Yin. It is her acknowledgment of good intention and goodwill, of divine presence in new relationships, and is an auspicious gift for new beginnings. These blessings are very special and this oracle is a vessel carrying that blessing to you now.

To receive the blessing of the khata as fully as possible, intend to open your heart and allow love to have its way. This may mean that some relationships, unable to be healed at this time for whatever reason, need to be released. This is so you can grow and open your heart more freely to those able to love you the way you wish to be loved, to those able to receive your love the way you are able to give. Remain open to love’s will, whether you understand it or not, which you can do by centering yourself in your heart. Let your feelings guide you and trust in whatever is happening now in relationships or the new beginnings in your life. You are not required to do anything except receive the Divine Mother’s love.

SHE TAMES BY LAYING DOWN THE STAFF AND ROPE

My ways prevail. I subjugate the lower to the higher without any force. Through my ways, correct alignment to the higher divine order is established. My authority is supreme, yet I’ve no need to enforce it. Devotion to me is absolute, yet I bestow freedom. I show you now , the whispering way to tame great force. I initiate you into the way of strength without coercion, the way of attraction without demand. Follow me and learn the art of feminine power; that fear shall always succumb to love.

There is something that you want to attain. A situation exists that you would like to change. It may be something in your way of thinking or being, or a habit of body or mind. It may be a pattern within your emotional world, or an actual physical situation or obstacle you wish to changes. Perhaps you want it transformed completely, or perhaps you simply want some of the rough edges smoothed. No matter whether it is a small or large change that is desired, you have been attempting to bring it about through exertion of your will. Now there is a time and place for such approaches. Yet there is another way, a gentler and more peaceful way, that will evoke little resistance within you and help you attract what you want rather than to have to carve it out of your own blood, sweat and tears. This is the taming power, the magnetic lure of attraction that can tame even beyond the capacity of will.

You must be willing to become empty in order to be filled. You must be willing to accept the very thing you wish to be transformed. You must be willing to become flexible in order to stay true on the path. You must be willing to become childlike in order to be wise. It is in embracing what is that empowers you to transform it. You can, of course, choose the other way; to pursue, push and direct. However, you will find it an uphill battle all the way and it will only get you so far. This way hold more finesse, attains a greater result and will lead you further along your spiritual path as you learn that the opposites are only an appearance of reality, no reality itself. What you want is possible.

Okay, I know I have said this before, but I am saying it again. I love how the cards unfold. Go in and create space, open to love (and see the khata of which I have one from Nepal), and then use that love to stop pushing and create a different way of being. Awesome sauce! I hope you enjoyed, and as next Monday is BC day (thus a long weekend here), it’s time to go play outdoors and relax, paddle and just BE. So I will see you the Monday following.
