Fall Back and Remember – Weekly Reading November 6th.

Happy Magnificent, Marvellous Monday! (Have you been practicing reframing Monday as we discussed a few weeks ago?) Did you enjoy the energy of the wonderful Full Moon on Saturday? I was so thrilled when the clouds cleared and there she was in all her brilliant glory, suspended against the dark night backdrop and lighting up the snow that we received last week. (Yes, yes, I did say snow – gulp!) It was quite bizarre, the other day the afternoon was sunny, mild and felt like the most delicious Autumnal day ever and then the next morning – boom! Huge cold Arctic winds and frigging snow! (Can you tell how thrilled I am about it?) Then on Sunday it was time to Fall Back – so in essence we kind of gained an hour which was lovely and it certainly makes the early morning explores with the hounds much more enjoyable (and visible).

I was rather blessed on the weekend as I attended a Veteran’s banquet and it was so powerful, strong and poignant. It wasn’t filled with political rhetoric, it was the sharing of stories, the honouring of those who have passed and the sharing of hope and gratitude for the freedom and the peace that we are fortunate enough to live within here in North America. The next day I was in a grocery line up and I always wear a Poppy for Remembrance Day, which is coming up on November 11th, and as I’m waiting in line the chap behind me started a rather odd debate about the wearing of a Poppy. He shared that he refused to wear one as it was a symbol of death to which I totally, 100% disagree. The Poppy to me is a symbol of Remembering those who bravely went to fight for our freedoms and well being. It is also a symbol of Hope, hope for our troops that are still deployed all over the world and Hope for a time of Peace. If you don’t know the story of the Poppy I felt compelled to go learn as much as possible and there is a great post here. As someone who was in the Military reserves and a reserve police officer and having friends who are in the military, let alone a father who was and a grandfather, I feel very strongly about the respect and honour that is due to those sacrifices and those that are still away from home. So after this conversation with said gentleman I started thinking about Peace and Hope.

Peace. What is Peace? What does Peace within you, Peace from you and Peace all surrounding you look and feel like to you? So I invite you to take a moment, just a moment and breathe with that. As you take a glorious deep breath in through your nose vibrate the word Peace in your mind and as you exhale through an open mouth send out the intention of Peace & Hope to whomever or whatever you choose. Keep breathing in this way and repeating the vibration of Peace within you, Peace from you and Peace and Hope gently surrounding you. When you feel ready, gently open your eyes and let’s go see what the message for this amazing week

The Sacred Rebels were adamant that they had to come out for this event and Rose Quartz insisted that they be the only ones (along with Selenite as an amplifier) to come play. Which I thought was very appropriate as Rose Quartz is an amazing heart crystal.

INNER TRUST

Though it may be cloaked and hidden, within you lies natural magnificence, vibrancy and true uniqueness. The harder this is for you to believe, the more growth you are being offered now. Your opportunity for growth lies in letting go of the need to hide yourself from the world and to let go of any doubt about the wonder of what lies within you. It is tie for you to trust yourself and let the real, inner you out from behind the veil.

You know what you are doing! You have enough wisdom and intuition to be able to place yourself more fully in the word, to take steps to unhide yourself! Even if you feel you have no clue about what is happening at a broader level in your life, even if you can’t quite see the whole picture of what is taking place within or around you, you still have all the wisdom and intuitive ability you need to take one step at a time and navigate your way through absolutely anything that life brings to your door.

This is not a time of self doubt or playing small. It is a time to get in touch with the courage, boldness and dare-devil within, and to take that step, big or small, into the future that is beckoning you forward. You have the wings to fly. Sometimes we don’t realise it until we leap over the edge of what we have known and begin to soar into a new life.

LEGACY OF LIGHT

You are being asked to honour the legacy of light that is your sacred birthright. This is a sacred endowment from the great universal source of light to humanity. It is the light of wisdom, creativity, radical courage, love and respect that is passed down from the heart of each generation to the next. The legacy of light is your spiritual birthright to refine and shine your essence into the world….to be like a sun, radiant and unapologetic of your nature.

The more you are nourished by this legacy of light from your past, the more you become a bearer of the legacy for those that will be supported by your light in the future. A creative choice you are making, or have made, or soon will make, is one that is in alignment with your sacred purpose and spiritual path of healing and growth. The legacy of light cannot be ignored without some detriment to your sense of wellbeing. If you were asking about a particular question and chose this card, then part of the answer to your question is that the issue at hand is one of utmost importance to your spiritual growth – even if it seemed like relatively insignificant question. You are to shine!

The legacy of light also asks you to call on the unconditionally loving support that exists for you, every day. This light will offer you all manner of assistance. To not call upon it is like starving because you have no means to acquire food, whilst a feast lays before your eyes – if only you would partake of it! You have some special creative and healing offering to make to the world in this lifetime. You will leave a legacy of light for the greater good upon this planet and you will be lovingly supported in many ways by the great creative universal intelligence when you ask for help.

SACRED FOOL

The fool is a great rebel, able to thwart convention and tell the truth without restraint. Your heart is a wonderful, powerful, sacred fool! It cares not for the right way to do things. It cares not for what the mind says is real and not real. It lives according to an inner wisdom that cannot be dictated to or controlled by anything. It loves, it lives and it is what is!

It’s time to take your offer to the world. Don’t try to be appropriate, don’t try to be socially acceptable and worry about what others may think – just be. If you want to wear a mad hat whilst doing so, fine.

It’s time to leave behind what has been because it no longer feels right to stay attached to it. Your mind is a monkey puppet on strings. More often than not, it is cajoled into fear when it could be playfully dwelling in the radical spontaneity of life. So, the sacred fool in you urges your mind to let itself be pulled into joy by your heart strings not into fear and doubt by media or anything else. It’s time for you to play.

It’s time for you to let life happen in a completely unreserved, unscripted way. Life wants to operate more radically through you so that you become the conduit through which miracles and crazy wild synchronicity can occur. If you find yourself making choices that have others questioning your sanity, then you are right on course. You are just approaching enlightened awareness. There is a moment – sometimes a rather long one – when we wake up to life, shed our attachment to mass opinion and float in a completely different state of being. Stay on your path, stay on the journey, remember to take nothing too seriously and it will all work out perfectly.

Twas the Night before Halloween and Samhain – Weekly Reading October 30th.

Twas the night before Halloween and all through the house, costumes were being sewn – there was even a mouse! The ghosties and ghoulies were hung with great care, with the hope that they would give someone a great scare! The pumpkins were nestled all tight in the garden beds, with little tea candles shedding light in their heads.

I love Halloween! The pumpkin carving, the costumes, making taffy and seeing all the little ones so wiggly excited as they holler at the door “Trick or Treat”. I used to be terrified as a child that someone was going to say “Trick” and make me sing, or recite a poem or something equally daft (hey I was 7) instead of just handing over handfuls of sweeties! With my kids I have always had a “mummy tithe”, in other words when we would get home from trick or treating we would go through all the sweeties and make sure they were fine and dandy, sort them into piles (not my idea but my youngest ones) and then count them. So if one of the boys had 100 sweeties, the tithe amount was 10, thus 10%. Now do the math, I have 5 kids! Yes, that’s right I would get a motherlode of all my favourite things, little mini smarties, kitkats, mars bars and Aeros. Nom, nom, nom. It would last me all year, unless the kids found where I had hidden them.

At the time that most of us celebrate Halloween it is also the festival of Samhain, the third and final Harvest festival where we celebrate with fire, eating and honouring the dead. In many places, Samhain coincides with the end of the growing season. Vegetation dies back with killing frosts, and therefore, literally, death is in the air. This contributes to the ancient notion that at Samhain, the veil is thin between the world of the living and the realm of the Dead and this facilitates contact and communication.

Now people can get rather tweaked when we talk about death, but if we look to Nature that is what is happening in the Northern Hemisphere. The trees are releasing their leaves and going into a more dormant state, the ground is getting colder and harder, and we are starting to turn inward. As we turn inward there is often a reflecting process as to what is working for us and what isn’t. To me (as someone who used to get tweaked about the word Death), it’s just a release, a release of an idea, a habit, a belief etc.

There are many glorious celebrations and rituals that you can do to celebrate and honour Samhain.

Go for a nature walk – celebrate the cycles of life that nature shows us.

Make an ancestor altar – Gather photographs, heirlooms, and other mementos of deceased family, friends, and companion creatures. Arrange them on a table, dresser, or other surface, along with several votive candles. Kindle the candles in their memory as you call out their names and express well wishes. Thank them for being part of your life.

Renovate (yes I said that) – Select an area of your home or life as a focus. Examine it. Re-organize it. Release what is no longer needed. Create a better pattern. Celebrate renewal and transformation.

Bonfire Magic. Kindle a bonfire outdoors when possible or kindle flames in a fireplace or a small cauldron. Write down an outmoded habit that you wish to end and cast it into the Samhain flames as you imagine release. Imagine yourself adopting a new, healthier way of being as you move around the fire clockwise.

Now with Halloween and Samhain burbling in your mind let’s crack on with the reading. It seemed very appropriate to do it outside on a bed of leaves and instead of glorious polished crystals, we have glorious rocks that I have gathered as I explore (after all they are crystals in the rough). Divine Circus was the hands down, have to come and play, deck of Oracle Cards that wanted to come work with you this week. Which I feel is really appropriate!

Let’s take a moment and just breathe, come back into your body, breathe in through your nose and sigh it out through your mouth. See a glorious stream of golden light funneling down through your head as you breath in and as you exhale see it whoosh out through your heart. When you are ready pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

RED COUNTESS

Deep within, you know what is true and what to do (or not do). Yet there is so much noise and distraction in the world, and even at times in our own minds, that listening for our inner wisdom can seem like trying to hear gentle birdsong in the midst of a rock concert. Even so, you are hearing an inner truth, and deep down, you know it. Can you trust that it is safe to not only hear your inner voice but act on it too?

There is something that you know. You’ve felt, sensed, heard or realised this truth more than once. Even if others see or feel differently, you just know what you know, even if you don’t quite know how you know it!

Give your truths value. Hold your feelings and insights in high enough esteem to pay attention to them, to give yourself time to process what you think, feel and sense. Know that they’re worth acting on, even if that action just means to trust more and stop worrying.

SUPERNOVA

Something in you needs to be unleashed. This is not quiet and steady growth, but more like a wild explosion of creative energy and sacred fire. The sparks your rapid growth will create shall ignite your body, mind and soul, inspiring you to expand even beyond what you believe is possible. Your light will shine far and wide. You cannot control it, but you can trust it.

A rocket is capable of travelling far and with great power and speed, before settling into an effortless orbit far beyond the world in which it began its journey. To launch, however, requires power. A quiet and continued power is not appropriate for the task. A raw and explosive force is needed to propel the rocket from the known world of earth towards its destined orbit in space. You are in a time or rapid growth so accelerated and powerful that it can feel like an explosion, as if you were the rocket being launched into space. It tends to be of high intensity but short duration.

As a rocket moves from the dramatic force of the launch towards the eventual peace of an effortless orbit, the rocket will jettison the very thing needed to get the journey started. This is about letting go of old attitudes, ideas, ways of being and attachments, to allow for utter freedom to ascend. After the launch there is another birth of sorts: the settling into a new pattern of life at a higher altitude, with more peace, effortlessness and consciousness. Each phase happens naturally and you’ll feel when and how to respond to each phase in your life as you trust yourself.

CROWN OF THE BUTTERFLY BAMBINI

Just as nature imbues the butterfly with an innate ability for radical transformation, so too do you have natural instincts within, guiding you to grow in dramatic, utterly life-changing ways. Progress is your perfection. Growth is your attainment. Do you shun what you have been or mistakes you have made? Or instead, do you wear your ability for transformation as a sacred crown of power?

Transformation is an ability, an art, a sacred power. It requires an ability to go through the death of an old self, to be reborn again. That death might be an identity, a lifestyle or career, or an inner sense of self that no longer seems enough to truly reflect who you are becoming.

It requires both strength and flexibility, to be like bamboo, to bend without breaking. Are you willing to let go of what you have known, who you have been, without judging it, except to understand that you are outgrowing your past and becoming your future in this very moment? This takes great courage whilst flexibility of mind allows you to believe there are other possibilities in this life beyond what you have already experienced. The strength gives you enough courage to bear the loss of the known and the terror of the unknown, perhaps even turning that terror into excitement for what may be.

Don’t dream small dreams, for you are capable of far more dramatic and colourful creations. Trust in the magnificence of what you are becoming, the expression of the transformational intelligence and power within you.

Let’s Re-frame Monday, Shall We? Weekly Reading October 23rd.

Happy, happy marvellous, manifesting, magical Monday! Let’s talk about Monday shall we? I have encountered, talked to and listened to sooo many people in the last month who have the “Fuck I hate Monday” attitude. When I ask why they look at me as if I missed the memo “Duh, everyone hates Monday, it’s Monday!” This response causes me to shake my head, roll my eyes and sigh. It’s a day, it’s the same as the day before and the next one to come, it’s 24 hours in your life, just because it happens to be called Monday shouldn’t earn it a bad rap. I actually had someone sing me the old Boomtown Rats song “I don’t like Monday’s”. (He did it quite well all considered).

I appreciate for some people they hate what they are doing and so Monday seems to toll the bell of – urrgghhhh, back to the 9-5. But let’s take a moment and look at this – if what we focus on expands and if we manage our thoughts it can change our reality – why on God’s green earth would you want to pump that level of negative blaugh? What if we reframed it and Monday became – Marvelous Monday, Manifesting Monday, Magical Monday, Mesmerising Monday? (Can you think of some other ones?) I guess my challenge to you is to reframe Monday and what it brings, instead of looking at this poor day as the bringer of bad news, let’s look at it as a fabulous day to create, manifest, experience miracles, mindset shifts and huge surges of mojo! Who’s with me? I challenge you to look at the next 6 Mondays this way and share that energy with others (as it’s quite contagious!)

So with that being said let’s go celebrate this magnificent Monday in style! The cards that wiggled and jiggled and jumped up and down to come share and play with you are the gorgeous Oracle of the Dragonfae. Interestingly, the crystals that did their uber sparkle and wiggle are Amethyst and Citrine, both amazing healing stones and absolutely delicious and delightful for manifestation. Citrine has the nickname of “The Merchants Stone”, as it’s most certainly involved with money, manifestation and marvellousness! The gorgeous Autumn leaves most certainly wanted to show off their deep reds and golds, so along they came.

I invite you to take a moment and just wiggle your fingers and toes, get your back nice and straight and slightly tuck your chin as if you are holding a grapefruit there. Breathe in long and slow through your nose and then let it sigh out through your mouth as you give a cheeky smirk. Repeat for as long or as many times as you want to and when you feel ready, pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

HIDEKI’S DOOR

I know you wish to reach out, and yet you hold back. I know you feel drawn to knock on this door and to see whether it will be answered this time…and yet you fear so much. You fear that it will not be answered…that the answer or the face that appears beyond the door will not be to your liking…that if you enter, you may never return… I cannot put your fears to rest, for only you can do that. But I can tell you what I see. I see a spirit whose flame has flickered low,, whose light is in danger of going out if it does not take the next step. For years you have passed this door and many times you have found yourself here. You may even have knocked at the door, only to flee, like a terrified child, before the door was opened to you.

I say to you now: it is time. Reach out. Knock at the door. And let what will be, be.

Nervous about a new chance…feeling as though your comfort zone is far better than the unknown; longing to travel and to change, yet unwilling to do anything about it; procrastinations and old habits keeping you from reaching out and accepting what is being offered. You are ready…it is simply nerves that are holding you back, conditioned fears and internalised voices from the past. Reach out…take a hold of the handle and be ready for the wonder of the unknown that lies beyond the door. The doors of perception about to change…forever.

You have nothing to fear, except fear freezing your hand, again. Knock on the door. All is well.

MORGAN LE FEY

Even when others cry out against you, even when there are loud, aggressive voices proclaiming you are not magickal, the truth is that you are magickal, have always been magickal, will always be magickal. I urge you to allow me to protect you, with the sword from the lake of Avalon itself. I will not hurt a soul, but I will carve through the bonds and the chords their criticism has created, and I will heal you of the hurt their cruel voices and harsh words have caused.

Take some time for your own self, dear one, and retreat and allow me to nurture you. Your magick is strong and powerful, but the wounds have at times been deep. Let the beings behind me soothe you, and allow yourself to feel your truth again. You are whole, perfect and complete. Swim in the silken waters, feeling your truth, and know that soon you will experience a homecoming. You are never alone along. And I will always be at your side, whenever you have need of me. You are orphan, outcast, wanderer no more. I now assign the Morgens, the priestesses of Avalon, and the sacred swan and Dragonfae to be at your side evermore. Evermore.

When you have experienced being ignored or refused entrance into family closeness or the mainstream, this card may show up to comfort you and let you know that your soul family is not only looking out for you, it is assigned to protect you for a time in order to shelter you so that you may heal. You will experience joy and rapture at this homecoming, and peace in your heart. AINE AND THE GUARDIAN

Here I stand, offering to you the protection and safety of my guardian being, wanting you to know how very protected you truly are. Never need you fear again those who have done you harm. Know that from this moment on, I stand with you, as does this magnificent Moondragonfae guardian, and together we say you may live as you wish, you may love as you wish, you may worship as you wish. No longer will others who feel they know best, have their way with you, in spirit, in your heart, in your body, in your eternal soul. You are a radiant being of moonlit power, and the Goddess, our Mother, is overjoyed at your brilliance, your wit, your beauty, your freedom.

I repeat. You are safe. You are protected. You are divine. All else is a lie.

Allow yourself to take flight, and explore the night and the freedoms it holds. The Moon cycles have much to reveal to you now, and as she wanes and waxes, and shines fully, you may stand beneath her and feel her rays shining through your every cell, filling you with natural magick that sustains your freedom, your true soul self, and brings you a warrior strength that by no means decreases your brilliance’s as a woman, or your femininity. Be receptive, and Aine will guide you to her magickal places, and this galactic Dragonfae being will help you see beyond our own star, the Sun, into the realms beyond. Your freedom and your self is as boundless as the night sky.

Well that was a delicious reading. Overcoming fear to step into something wonderful, allowing yourself to heal and be supported and loved and revelling and embracing how Divinely perfect you are! Yes!!! (Have I said I love the cards and how they work). Ahhh, it’s good to be back! How are you? Happy Monday! I hope you have had a stupendous couple of weeks, and have made sure to get out and do something that ignites your soul and makes you laugh until you want to snort!

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving the other weekend, great food, amazing friends and family, large fire and big laughter. It was absolutely perfect and ham/split pea soup and turkey soup ensued afterwards. Nom, nom, nom. It has also been the time to work on the renovations (have I said I loathe sanding gyprock?) and time to put the garden to bed. The other weekend I had over 200 bulbs to go in and I had picked up multiple bales of straw. So I grabbed my 10 year old and advised (don’t you love that word), that he was going to come give me a hand. Now don’t get me wrong, I love this little chap to pieces but he is certainly not uber keen to play in the dirt, garden, build or any of those things, however bless his cotton soxs, he zipped up his hoodie and out we went.

He couldn’t quite get what I meant when I said “We need to pop some bulbs in and put the garden beds to sleep for the winter.” Hmmm, how to explain this. ….. So we nattered about how the garden beds had provided glorious food and flowers for quite a while, he got that. How like humans we need to replenish, restore and rest, he got that. So I explained what we were doing was removing all the detritus (dead plants, old flowers etc) preparing the glorious garden beds and popping little bulbs into them. “But why are we planting things if they need a rest?” Good question! These little bulbs are like ideas, goals and dreams – think of that skateboard you wanted so badly and you thought about everyday and saved up for, he got that. Did your skateboard come overnight? No. These bulbs are the same, we whisper something lovely to them as we create a hole in the soil for them to get comfy in and then slowly put out roots, however, they won’t flourish or raise their gorgeous green spikes until they are ready in the Spring. Sweet! He go that and happily started planting daffs, tulips, crocus, snowdrops and a myriad of others. As he planted I weeded out the next bed and I grinned like the Cheshire Cat when I heard him whispering and talking to the bulbs! Once we had a few beds done then came the straw, big thick layers of straw gently placed and patted. But why? “Do you like your down duvet at night?” Yes. “Why?” It keeps me toasty warm and makes me feel safe and comfy. Exactly! The thick layers of straw that we are putting down are like gorgeous duvets for the bulbs and the earth. It keeps everyone safe, stops squirrels and racoons coming and digging up the bulbs and they feel cosy and comfy as they sleep their way into existence. He got it! As he heaped straw onto the beds he gently pushed and patted it down and talked to the beds and said he hoped they would be warm and cosy and he was looking forward to seeing them in the early Spring!

So even though this gorgeous little being is not super outdoorsy, he is very open to tending, caring, creating. We had a great time and got half the bulbs in! Whoot! Whoot!

With all that being said, I invite you to see in your Mind’s eye a lovely patch of freshly weeded dirt just waiting for something. Next to you is a basket of bulbs, you don’t know which one is which, but you know they will all burst up at their right time and amaze you. There’s a cute little red trowel leaning up against the basket and a bale of fresh straw to the other side of you. Think of the things you want to see, think of the things you want to be, think of the ways that you want to show up, serve, inspire and support. As those thoughts cross your mind, gently pick up the trowel and a bulb, make a gorgeous space in the dirt and pop the bulb in whilst you whisper your thought. Gently pat the dirt over. When you have finished your basket of bulbs gather up the straw and tuck your beautiful intentions in, make them nice and warm and cosy and whisper to them about how excited you are to see them when they are ready.

With that energy, I invite you to pick the card or cards that resonate for you. This week it was most certainly Sacred Rebels that were adamant they needed to come play. As I still have straw left it felt appropriate to do the reading on the blanket for the earth and intentions. Some of the last purple fall flowers came to join and most certainly the crystals of Snowflake Black Obsidian, Sodalite and Lepidolite.

BEYOND THE MIND, THE HEART BEATS

In the chaos of modern life and the constant fluctuations of our minds, it can be difficult to remember that a sublime sanctuary lies within. Yet it is always there. Beneath the ceaseless activity, there is an endless, vast spaciousness that restores and connects us to something greater – something that exists outside of time. Some might call it “eternity”.

Within that sanctuary, sacred sound is felt rather than heard. That sacred sound is actually the reverberating heartbeat of the entire universe. Your own heart’s rhythm sounds within the greater universal heartbeat.

There is the way of the mind – which can make mountains out of molehills even when it thinks it is turning mountains into molehills! Then there is the way of the heart. It is subterranean and moves subtly beneath possible obstacles, intelligently shifting with exquisite sensitivity, sensing the way forward, through dangerous pathways and responding to what is before it even occurs in the physical world. However with the heart’s intelligence we cannot see and know in the same way that we do when we allow the mind to direct us. We have to be open to another way if we want to benefit from the innate intelligence of the heart.

Deep within, you know what to do and you know what is true. It matters not whether the mind and its plans seem to agree with your inner sense. Your willingness to trust your heart and to rebel against fear will serve you well. Let your heart lead you. Be sure of your faith and trust in what you feel. Your head and heart have been in conflict at times over the course of your life. This has brought you struggle and, sometimes, deep suffering. However, a truce will be declared and the appropriate outcome – of the mind waving a white flag of surrender – is imminent. Soon, if not already, you will finally be feeling that your heart is leading you! You will feel that your mind is learning to follow the guidance of your heart, rather than trying to be out front, seeing and sorting everything out in advance, in order to be safe. What a relief to let go of this old way!

You are now in a position that is more powerful than ever, because you are allowing yourself to be guided by your heart – a heart that beats in harmony with the heart of all existence. Your affairs are in accord with love and no matter what may appear to be at times, all is unfolding according to that greater love. You included!

DREAM A BEAUTIFUL DREAM

The urge to create is the same within you as it is for the universal creator. It also has the same magical ability to draw harmony into being to to find beautiful order in chaos. This includes bringing harmony and the perfect balance of well being into your body, mind and emotions. This is also the part of you that wants to dream of beauty and bring it to life in as many ways as possible – in how you eat, dress, look, behave, make love, create art, relate to your community, write your poetry by moonlight or bathe by candlelight….

You are meant to dream of beauty and to create beauty, in its far more holistic and creative definition. Beauty is meant to soothe the soul, inspire thoughts of love, devotion and appreciation and to balance the nervous system. These are healing effects. Healing for the creator and those that receive it. They are worthwhile. Time that you spend dreaming of beauty and allowing it to be born through you in various heart-centred ways is worthwhile. Don’t disregard it or discount it. The most beautiful dreams can inspire the practical, hardworking dedication required to bring them to life for the betterment of the world.

There is a situation in your life right now where you feel uncertain about your ability to “fix” or heal. You lack the inspiration to be able to imagine it differently than how it currently seems to be. You may therefore feel inhibited in your ability to bring about constructive change. However, the perfect beauty of this situation is not revealed by what you attempt to do to it, or through trying to impose the right “dream” upon it. It is to be healed and perfected into all that it can be, through the revelation of the beauty that already lies within it.

In opening up to the beauty within yourself and your circumstances, you open up to change. You can overcome resistance and denial by approaching it with a curious mind, an open heart and acknowledging the hidden beauty. You have the power to be a positive influence in whatever situation holds the most meaning for you right now, and you need to know that.

VISIONS OF LIFE BEYOND DEATH

Sacred vision is awakening within you. You’re becoming blessed with the ability to truly see. To see what is real rather than what appears to be. This is true insight. What was once considered consequential may soon be found to hold little consequence after all. What was once dismissed as an irritation or irrelevance may be seen to have great spiritual significance. As mundane as something once appeared it could now be worthy of absolute attention. The gift of genuine vision takes you into the being of the universal creator. This is sacred terrain, beyond logic, convention and that which is limited in any way.

The vision of love, the truth of all that is, can move us more than anything else possibly can. If you have been wondering about your life path or whether you should take action on a project or you need inspiration to really move you out of a slump you have fallen into, then this oracle brings you a message of hope. You will receive your vision. You will be graced with a way out of the stagnancy. You will be able to see things differently and more accurately.

You are leaving behind a smaller view for a more expansive one. You are watched over in life and held in protection. Shift your perspective and look at an issue of concern a little differently. Your ability to be inspired and see the light in all things is unfolding. It must be nourished in your heart with loving acceptance because you are going to help others through your vision, your art and how you choose to be in the world.

What a glorious reading. A lot of requests or invitations to trust, release and allow love to be the guiding force (which it is when we let it in). Holy Hannah it’s almost New Moon and Equinox! Weekly Reading September 18th.

Happy Monday, happy new week, happy nearly New Moon and Equinox! (Happy glorious day to you delicious lovely!) How are you? Did you take some time in the last week to rest, relax and play? I pushed it a bit too hard over the last few weeks with work, staining, staining and more staining (I think there should be a staining recovery group) and my body finally said – meh, this is not fun and so we are going to hand you a lovely little virus that is going to make you feel like shit, slow down and sleep. Bugger! I am a very grumpy sick person to be honest, however, I have paid attention and took the weekend to read, sleep, eat soup, sleep and read. Although I did push a tad and insisted on building a gorgeous arbour header, stained and mounted it on Saturday, which I am very happy I did. Every time I look at it now I smile. Why? Because it is beautifully shaped and it has all the phases of the moon carved and cut out of it and that resonates for me. So once I had finished that I donned a big sweater, made a cuppa tea and curled up in a big garden chair and read my book and watched the chickadees attack the sunflower heads with vigour.

We head into birthday season tomorrow (note I said season), as there are 3 of us in September, 3 of us in October, 3 of us in November and 1 in December! Can you say – ribbon by the largest spool possible? It’s my son Ry’s birthday on Wednesday which is also the New Moon and mine on Friday (the Equinox), so we are going to have a joint celebration of birthdays and Equinox! Whoot! Whoot! Ry very kindly gifted me as my birthday present the new book from Brene Brown called “Braving the Wilderness”, it just came out on Tuesday and if you haven’t got it – go get it!. I was reading it this past weekend and wow, she blew it out of the park again. It’s about the quest for true belonging and the courage to stand alone. As Brene says – true belonging is not about fitting in, pretending, or making the people around us comfortable because that’s safer.

I don’t know about you but there have been times in my past where I was most certainly a chameleon and tried to ensure others were comfortable even though I most certainly wasn’t. Not a great way to spend one’s time that’s for sure. So it was interesting to see which deck wanted to come play this week, I most certainly thought it would be the Divine Circus however, it is one of my other new decks, The Isis Oracle and it’s very appropriate actually as it addresses the fact that you are a powerful soul who is awakening. The crystals that wanted to come play are Amethyst, Smoky Quartz and Rose Quartz and of course Selenite as an amplifier.

With all that being said I invite you to take a moment and just settle into your body. Feel your feet on the earth (give your toes a little wiggle even if they are in shoes), lengthen your spine and roll your shoulders up, back and down. Breathe gently in through your nose and sigh it out through your mouth. Give your shoulders another roll up back and down and when you feel ready, pick the card or cards that resonate for you. Trust yourself.

INITIATION

When you are being spiritually initiated into the mysteries of light, love and power, there are moments of deep challenge. The key is to find the light within the challenge – the learning, growth or wisdom that can be summoned to turn the challenge into an opportunity for healing. Initiation will occur at various stages. Sometimes your entire life will feel like an initiation, at other times specific areas will be flowing easily whilst others re deeply challenging. Please know you are not needlessly suffering. If you can find the light within the struggles, tests or challenges that face you now, you will experience breakthrough healing.

As an Initiate, honour life as a gift and treat any challenge or pressure as a way for you to grow into a brighter and purer light capable of great spiritual service on this planet. That spiritual service includes growing an ability to be able to love freely and beyond limits, to love with courage and faith.

In fact initiation for you now, dear one, is an opening to new levels of power and peace, self-possession and love. There are such sweet fruits waiting for you at the top of the tree you are currently climbing. It may seem as though you are in barren land at times with little hope, nourishment or encouragement, yet your spiritual oasis is not far away! The Lady Isis and the Power of Ra together are helping you grow. Stay focused on the Lady and Her love for you and you shall pass through the desert of the Initiation unharmed and deeply transformed.

MAGICK AND RITUAL

Effect in the external world can be created through inner practice. Magick and Ritual can support your Divine Path now in the physical world and you are encouraged to enhance your power with regular practice. The results that you experience will encourage you to continue with the practice as you grow in power, grace, love, ability and wisdom, and apply your inner beauty to transform your outer world.

For us to grow empowered and potent we need to honour our knowing and being and cultivate sacred practice. Sacred practice becomes the habit of growing our spiritual power and consciousness. Like a garden needing regular care and watering to blossom and flourish, our inner garden of the Soul, where our creativity, joy, spiritual gifts and bliss bubble away, also needs regular attention. Coming to our practice takes strength and inner will – even though it can feel amazing, we still have to wake up, set aside time and discipline ourselves to show up for our own inner growth. We will reap the benefits when we do, but we must allow ourselves to fall in love with our practice, to craft something that really speaks to us, so that we want to do it. The desire and discipline together help us engage with our practice regularly and we can grow so fast it can be quite shocking!

You have great power and wisdom within you, but you need to provide channels for it to flow and be active and empowered in your physical life. Sacred Practice is such a channel. Without these channels, the ego is left to create on its own which is not much fun at all! The ego believes in fear and separation and no matter how much it may want to feel love, bliss, connection, joy and fulfilment, it really cannot do it without your spiritual presence in life. Choose what feels good for you and experiment with what might be a regular pattern of practice for you. You are worth the effort! Remember, whatever effort you do put in will be repaid to you in wonderful benefits many, many times over!

FLOWER OF LIFE

You are entering a fertile period of your life. Focus on your innate creativity and how potent this is becoming, and watch it rapidly grow! You are guided to think of yourself as a creative being and to surrender your control over how things will manifest and instead allow them to do so. Don’t resist change, instead flow and let it happen. Now is the time for your blossoming. Your Soul is hungering for creativity and manifestation of the beauty in your inner world, to witness it and live it in your physical world too. Much of your spiritual energy is directed into creative process and your creative powers are growing fast now. As you are gaining more potency in your creative flow, it is important that you use this growing ability wisely. Become aware of how easy and quick your thoughts and feelings are manifesting into conversations, situations and responses from the Universe. Notice how quickly your prayers are confirmed through sign and dreams, intuitions and opportunities opening up for you. You are becoming more and more swiftly that which you choose to think, feel, speak and believe.

Align yourself with love each morning so that your thoughts will serve you well and the manifestations you set in motion will be ones that enhance your life experience, rather than more of what you do not want to experience! It can require time, habit and consistency to change patterns of thought and behaviour but it can be done. You are guided now to allow yourself absolute and radical permission to detach from past thoughts and behaviours, to bear the challenge of not knowing who you are or how you will be on the “other side” of the transformation, in order to let it happen.

The Flower of Life contains repetitive patterns, each interlacing and inter-relating to the other. In this way, all that is required is to tap into one part, one element, one thought or one behaviour that relates to your desired creative outcome – and integrate it into your life. All the rest will flow through natural connection. You are in the midst of a changing pattern and although it might be uncomfortable at first, it holds the seeds of what you desire and to allow it to happen is wise and loving to the Self. Be brave, beloved one. The Flower of Life is nurturing you into a more whole expression of your Divine self.
