Losing My Marbles, Synchronicity, Serenity Prayer and Ostara, Spring Equinox is just around the corner!

Happy Magickal, Mystical, Marvelous, Magnificent, Majestic, Merry, Motivated, Manifesting Monday! How was your week? How are you getting on with “Next Step” energy and did you remember to make your New Moon wishes? Remember too that the New Moon sets the energy and holds your intentions for the 29 day cycle, so even if you didn’t have a chance to write down your wishes, you can still work with the building energy throughout the month! (That’s very handy for those of us who love to procrastinate!)

I have had the most bizarre week (actually it’s been a few weeks, but this last one has been even more “interesting” than normal, to say the least. (I once read that to bless someone by saying “May your life be interesting”, was actually a curse). Gulp!

For the last little while I have been pretty sure that I was losing my marbles! So if you feel inclined, grab a cuppa tea, get comfy and let me share the experience I have been having with you, and in the process I am “outing” myself a tad.

So just over a few weeks ago I was trundling through my day, minding my own business – tra, la, la, la, la (get the picture). I was sitting out on my front porch with my evening cuppa tea watching night descend and the stars start popping out and all of a sudden this huge (and I mean HUGE) download came in that left me scrambling for a pad of paper and a pen and writing, writing, writing. When I finished I read over what I been told to write and there was one of those huge inhales of breathe and a sense of “Oh My, this is going to be interesting to say the least.” Anyhow, I put it aside, took my supplements and hopped into bed with the full intention of trying to ignore it all. No such luck. My dreams were filled with it all and in fact one just kept looping over and over, so much so that I woke up swearing my head off! Lol.

Now you may be thinking – “Jenny what the heck is the big deal, you got a download, you wrote it down now get on with it or let it go.” Good point of view, but have to say there was no letting it go, or more correctly it was not letting me go and to be honest it terrified me a tad as I have always thought of myself as a highly logical, empathetic, spiritual being and now I am being asked to talk about Magick! Yes I did say Magick. In other words Practickal Magick, the Magick that is in all of us, we were born with it but for most of us we have put it in a little cardboard box and stuffed it at the back of the closet. This is the Magick that wends through our day to day, our work, the intentions we set, the dreams we have, the way we think, our beliefs, our mindsets, the legacy we want to create, absolutely every single fibre of being in your body and all the delicious threads of life. It’s retrieving and reclaiming those lost or hidden pieces of ourselves. It’s living highly intentionally in tune with ritual, seasons, all the elements and a myriad of other things which in turn allows us to manifest on an exceptionally high level and to show up and serve at an exponential level. It’s Practickal Magic.

So why does this feel like I was losing my marbles? Think about it! You get a huge download, your ego flares its humongous wings and you try to run and hide, but there is no escaping. The manifestation wants to come to life and so finds you in your dreams, follows you in nature, whispers to you as you work, even picks the movies that you feel drawn to (that’s been most interesting!) You open your mouth to talk to a random stranger about the weather and half an hour later you have been talking about magick, ritual, alchemy, herbology and they have opened the box in their closet a tad to share. You find yourself digging up the front lawn and creating a garden that is a myriad of circles with paths that are East, South, West and North. Books are strewn open at random pages that all speak to each other and the synchronicities that have been occurring have been mind blowing to say the least. Tell me you wouldn’t feel like you had just stepped off the planet into another realm (or had gone totally bat shit crazy but no one was telling you!)

The other evening I phoned a spiritual mentor and poured out the last few weeks. He was fabulous and quietly listened, with the odd murmur. At the end of my vent, rant, sharing of having totally lost my marbles and why hadn’t anyone told me, he chuckled softly and very kindly said. “Jenny, you are totally sane, this is part of who you are and what you are meant to be doing.” He asked me if I could control what was happening and when I shared I couldn’t and the more I ran and tried to avoid, the worse it got. He then reminded me of the Serenity prayer. “Grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the Courage to change the things I can and the Wisdom to know the difference.” We talked for a while longer and he ended the conversation by asking me if I had the Serenity to accept and the Courage to follow it through. Ahhhh grasshopper, a very good question. So I am embracing Serenity and Courageously going to step forth, create and share. Yes, it may mean I use the word Witch (which will certainly tweak some people to the max), but to me Witch means – “ Someone who is connected to and has a love for all life and a joyfulness to work with it instead of against it. Someone who pays attention to the life they have, celebrates the magic within them and works with energy, nature, herbs, stones, ancestors – the whole gamut to help and support the interdependent web that they are part of.”

As someone who has been a solo practitioner for years, to me this download is like creating an amazing community of like minded people, where we explore, learn together, and through rituals (which is taking thought (Air) and turning it into form (Earth) which in turn moves through every cell of your body and locks in your intention) we learn to really BE, CREATE and SERVE at a supremely high level.

So there we have it. I haven’t lost my marbles (at least not all of them), I have felt supremely uncomfortable for the last few weeks, but I feel this is exceptionally important for all of us, and it’s interesting for me to see that the energy is getting stronger as we approach the glorious celebration of Ostara, or Spring Equinox (Fall Equinox) if you are down south. So I’m breathing into the Serenity and the Courage and it feels pretty frigging delicious to be honest. A prime example, other than all the writing for the programme I want to offer to create this amazing community, was putting a shovel in the garden and within a week I have created a glorious design, the grass is all gone and there is a plethora of beds where native plants, hawthorns, herbs galore, along with flowers and veggies will be planted to entice hummingbirds, bees, butterflies and faerie folk to come play. Oh yes, and just to get covered in dirt and have that glorious sense of physical contentment of creating sacred space. Nothing beats it! Now that is Serenity in motion!

So a word of advice. If you are ever thinking you are losing your marbles, pay attention to the messages, breathe into it for a bit – don’t run and then check in with someone you trust implicitly! Because, if you can do all of those, you aren’t losing your marbles! (Just saying).

Now if you know me (which you may or may not), I write and then ask the cards who wants to come. I never pick the cards and then write to them. Does that make sense? So to write the above and then go to my decks. I laughed and thought “OMG! You seriously can’t make this stuff up!”

The cards that wiggled and jiggled to come to the forefront made me laugh outloud. The Oracle of the Dragonfae were most adamant that they take centre stage and share with you their guidance for the week. These guides are the magickal and mystical that weave through the threads of every day, they are the Dragonfae, Gods and Goddesses who dwelt in dimensional lands….Eden, Avalon, Ys, Atlantis and Mu, they are Morgan, Guenevere, Merlin and others – fully alive and filled with magick! They are the deliciously magickal beings that have always been there, we just forgot, and when we connect with them, we reconnect with the lost parts of ourselves, allowing us to fully explore the gift of life on this beautiful green and blue planet, known by some as Gaia, by others as Dana, and by many other names.

The crystals that jostled and jiggled to come and support you this week are:- Amethyst – a stone of spiritual protection and purification, cleansing one’s energy field of negative influences and attachments, and creating a resonant shield of spiritual Light around the body. Clear Quartz – clarity, manifestation and focus. And last but not least Cinabrite – a powerful stone for unearthing the divine powers within you. Oh yes, and just as I did the reading one of the 30 tulips I have in a vase dropped her petals to share.

There is a lovely guided visualisation to help you tap into the Spring Energy and really strengthen your intentions if you so choose. If not, just breathe. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth and allow yourself to settle in. Then when you are ready see in your mind’s eye a glorious young green shoot. This is your intention, your desire – invite it in and as you breathe into this gorgeous green being pick the card or cards that whisper to you.

THE DAWN WATCHER

Never think that you are alone in this world…you do have guardians and I am one of them. I will literally ring alarm bells for you when you have need of forewarning and foreknowledge. There is nothing to fear when you receive these messages; you simply need to pay attention, take note and act when the time is right. I will always alert you and it is my particular domain and charge to watch for the new sky as the sun rises and to let you know that what you have hardly dared even hope for has every chance of coming true. Watch for the sunrise and know that as she does, so too do your hopes. And these bells will ring out for you to let you know of the approach of new growth, new warmth and a new energetic time coming for you. Listen and hear the bells ring for you. And then you shall awaken from your soul sleep!

It is time to be alert and aware; to arise early and to pay attention to the signs that abound around you – selectively. Focus on your mission at this time and work towards it. Be determined and do not allow others to distract you. Call on the Dawn Watcher to assist you to focus on the messages that are most worth hearing, and so that you do not go into fear. The Dawn Watcher is a very powerful guardian and will help you greatly be alerting you with plenty of time; all you need to do is pay attention.

Listen more respectfully to the bells of dreams, deja vu or of physical reactions to particular energies. The Dawn Watcher only weakens when you pay her bells no head, when you will not wake up and hear the calls. Know that you are always being watched over and being told through your body, your mind and your spirit of what is to come

LADY OF THE NEW BUDS

See how my garden has grown about me? See how my children, the darling buds, clamour for my attention? They cry at night and can be so touchy during the day! I must shelter them from harshness and keep them in a safe place, till they are strong enough to branch out….even then, my watchful eye will look out for their care.

You see, so many people see the beauty, and do not understand where it sprang from; the rich, loamy soil. The sweet water poured from the water-Dragonfae into this earth, the minerals of the natural realms, the light of the Sun and the shining sweetness of the crystal moon have all anointed my garden with their blessings. And then there is me. So many see my garden, and wonder at it, but they do not see the work and the care that has preceded my domain. Its beauty is a result of love, care, natural growth and attention to each and every one of its inhabitants.

When your growth appears around you, from the seeds you have planted, take time to tend this garden. Enlist the assistance of like-minded souls, and just as you would not feed these tender buds poisons and pollutants, do not feed your ideas the opinions and energies of those who are not in integrity. Stay true to the vision of your creation and truly take a little time each day to tend this garden, be it of love, ideas, little ones or creative endeavours, until they are robust and begin to grown into their own energy. For now, it is the tender time, the time when the buds are at most risk from the frost of rejection, the poison of judgement, and the choke of cruelty. Be vigilant, and you too will have a garden for all to enjoy and love.

Many will feel you’re fortunate indeed to have created such a beautiful Eden, but they will not see the care you have taken to grow this. But I have seen. I have seen it all.

THE LISTENER

How much have you missed because I could not have the space, the wild quiet, the blessed peace in which to whisper my secret straight to your soul? How much more could you be aware of if you simply took the time to be still and silent? The whole world can be heard in a moment….and now it is your time to be still, and to be silent. Listen and truly understand what it is you are hearing. Listen with your being, your entire being, not just your ears. Allow your senses to be the soul’s messengers. Sometimes we need to be quiet and listen. But first of all we need to be quiet. So many people talk so much of the time. And the talking and the talking and the filling up of space simply drowns out the messages.

The Dragonfae do not decry conversation and robust dialogue, the joyous clash of friends talking with each other, or the singing out of voices….especially when raised in joy, celebration, song and good cheer! But this card speaks of a time when it would be right for you to be still, and to listen, as the world whispers her secrets to you. We do not want to be making so much noise that we drown out our own signs and messages. So be still. Be silent. And be ready for the messages to come in sweet, subtle and magickal ways.

It’s time to remove yourself from the hustle and the bustle, from built-up urban and industrial areas, and go deep into nature and find the still pace of solitude in which the soul can speak – and be heard! Turn down the stress, the demands, the social whirl, the noise that can drown out meaning. In the words of Shakespeare, chatter is often “a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” You would do well to seek the counsel of spirit in nature, to rest in a quiet grove within. Furthermore, when the soul speaks, listen, come into alignment and act from that space of integrity. The Listener does not feel the need to tell all about what she has heard. In fact, she is content to simply act, without broadcasting her moves, and to allow her dreams into being, to follow the guidance of her message without exhausting the energy of the message by talking it out.

The Listener is silent and she seems still. But all of her actions are powerful and purposeful because they are born from a pure, still place of energy. Hers is the quiet glade and sudden, glad truth of the soul, and in these truths are great wisdom and delight.

Wow, wow, wow. Pay attention, Growth and Listen. Perfect messages as Spring Equinox approaches. So my delicious lovely, I wish for you a glorious week filled with Magick and Purpose. Delicious sunbeams that caress your face, moments of serenity and courage, as well as Spring flowers or Autumn leaves. Oh yes, and gobs of hot cross buns toasted and lathered with butter! Spring is Coming! What does Belonging look like? Where Does Your Voice Live?

Happy Magnificent, Magickal, Marvelous, Mystical, Melodious, Merry, Magnanimous, Majestic Monday! I don’t know about you but I have a bit of a feeling of “OMG February is almost over!” This month seems to have just whizzed by, don’t you think? It just seems to be a tad of a blur of celebrations, snow and grey clouds, most interesting. However, with February passing by so quickly you know what that means? Spring is Coming!!!! Whoot! Whoot!

Okay, I have a couple of questions for you this week that have been coming up in conversations with clients, friends and random strangers and they may appear heavy, but they actually aren’t.

So let me ask you the first one. Where do you Belong? Where is the place, the space the whatever that really makes you feel like you Belong? Now you maybe thinking to yourself, Jenny that’s a rather unusual question, but it really isn’t. A few weeks ago we explored why the Ancestral DNA industry is booming and that’s because in our society that is more connected than ever via technology, we are more disconnected than ever from each other. Most families don’t live in the same town, let alone the same country!

So let’s go back to the question of where do you Belong?

On Friday, I went to a talk given by Toka pa Turner, who has written the book Belonging is a Skill and she spoke of how, as we are growing up, we estrange pieces of ourselves to “fit in”. I call this trying to put a square peg in a round hole. She then went on to say that when we reach adulthood we find a group, an organisation, friends or whomever that we resonate with and really feel like we “Belong” and then for one reason or another we are ousted, there is a grief, a loss – where do we Belong? Many of us have experienced that pain whether it is in our family (if we chose to do or be different, our church, our spiritual group, even in a Yoga class!) Toka pa recommends that we pull all those pieces back to us that we have estranged or distanced ourselves from to become whole and Belong to ourselves first and foremost. In other words we Belong to Ourselves, that we become complete packages instead of searching for the piece that is missing. (Have to admit it reminded me a tad of people who post on dating websites “Looking for someone to complete me!)

I found this fascinating as, with a big move and in a new place, I too have wondered where I belong. I have been trying different groups, churches, organisations, events and all sorts. Some meet my need of “Belonging” and others, not so much, however the interesting thing is that I don’t feel unwelcome or alone. In fact what I have realised (very similar to high school), I Belong in a plethora of groups and as long as I feel that I Belong in my body and in my own home. Life is good. So where do you Belong?

The next question that came up this past while is “Where Does Your Voice Live?” Now if your response is “Duh, Jen it lives in my throat, my vocal cords, geesh!” I have an invitation for you, “Does it”?

For myself I always thought that my voice was in my writing, in the things I created, in my home and on the side of the soccer pitch. It wasn’t really heard many other places. My voice could be seen in the gardens I would create to express something inside, or maybe in a piece of healing jewelry I had created for a client or friend, it could be heard in the stories that I created for my kids as they drifted off to sleep, or in a piece of writing. But didn’t that mean that my voice lived in my heart, head and hands and not so much in my throat?

This got me to exploring the throat chakra a tad more, as to me this is the glorious melting pot where creativity, self will and love pool with intuition and divine guidance and then emit out loud for all and sundry to hear. I then talked to artists, makers, creators, speakers, healers, numb people and asked them where their voice lived in them. Is it just one spot, or can it be a plethora of spots. A lovely woman I met, who has a line of work that she thoroughly enjoys, says that her voice is in her Yoni and her throat, but not in her heart or mind. Fair enough!

For myself, as I explore getting out of my comfort zone by joining a female acapella group (and apparently there is a concert in 4 weeks!), drumming and putting myself in front of groups of people I have never met before (which can be a delicious invitation for my introverted self to go hide in a closet). I have found that my voice is in my heart, my creativity, my hands, my mind, my throat and my body. So slowly and surely how I share my voice the deep inner piece of me is slowly coming out through fairly much every piece of me, which is really exciting, but in a way terrifying! Interestingly enough our “choir” leader threw a new song at us on Sunday and my whole being went “Ahhhhhh” when I read the lyrics and I haven’t been able to stop singing it since.

Here’s the first verse: “From our lips we are echo and mountain, In our eyes we are sacred and sun, By the grace of our hands, we’re the flame and the dance, In our hearts we are rhythm and drum.”

So let me ask again – Where Does Your Voice Live? And how does this shape where you Belong?

Okay so I have most certainly chuntered on long enough, so with all that being said let’s crack on with the reading.

When I asked the cards and guides who wanted to come and share this week I laughed when I saw it was The Oracle of the Divine Circus. The reason I laughed is these glorious guides are playful, but deep. They think outside the box and invite you to do the same. If you have never met these glorious guides, please let me introduce you. “What is life if not a Divine Circus? Life might seem ordinary at times, yet when we look more closely, it is bursting with creative diversity, constantly evolving, pulling rugs out from underneath our feet (usually just at the moment we think we have everything under control) and opening doors we couldn’t even see were right there before us moment earlier. Life is magical, thrilling, sometimes strange and even scary. It can inspire you and touch your soul, inviting you to discover the unique magic within you, to dare to live it, to express it, to play with possibilities and embrace what sets you apart from the crowd. “

The crystals that came to play wiggled and woggled and jumped out as did the lavender (interesting). We have Morganite – It cleanses the emotional body of stress and anxiety, old wounds and hidden traumas, and enkindles lightness within the spirit, as if a burden has been lifted, Blue Apatite – increase your appetite for life, Kyanite – by clearing the energy blocks clogging your fifth chakra, blue kyanite permits a better flow of energy to assist in self-expression and communication. The wand at the top is Selenite which cleanses and amplifies.

There is a glorious visualisation to tune up all your chakras, however, if that doesn’t resonate for you. All good, just take a glorious deep breath in through your nose and sigh it out through your mouth. As you breathe this way for a minute or two I invite you to see right at the base of your throat where your collar bone joins, a glorious pool of clear blue water. See the levels and layers, see your voice in this glorious pool and breathe it in. See where your voice expresses itself in your body and then when you are ready, invite your voice whether it is is in your hands, heart, throat etc to pick the card or cards that resonate for you. Yes?

CROWN OF THE BUTTERFLY BAMBINI

Just as nature imbues the butterfly with an innate ability for radical transformation, so too do you have natural instincts within, guiding you to grow in dramatic, utterly life-changing ways. Progress is your perfection. Growth is your attainment. Do you shun what you have been or mistakes you have made? Or instead, do you wear your ability for transformation as a sacred crown of power?

Transformation is an ability, an art, a sacred power. It requires an ability to go through the death of an old self, to be reborn again. That death might be an identity, a lifestyle or career, or an inner sense of self that no longer seems enough to truly reflect who you are becoming.

It requires both strength and flexibility, to be like bamboo, to bend without breaking. Are you willing to let go of what you have known, who you have been, without judging it, except to understand that you are outgrowing your past and becoming your future in this very moment? This takes great courage whilst flexibility of mind allows you to believe there are other possibilities in this life beyond what you have already experienced. The strength gives you enough courage to bear the loss of the known and the terror of the unknown, perhaps even turning that terror into excitement for what may be.

Don’t dream small dreams, for you are capable of far more dramatic and colourful creations. Trust in the magnificence of what you are becoming, the expression of the transformational intelligence and power within you.

DUKE OF SHADOWS

Cunningly clever am I, helping you discern the truth from the lie. I remind you that half truths may seem to be whole, yet in the shadows is information yet to be known. When the time is right, the light shall be bright, and confusion will give way to understanding.

You are being invited to be patient. This is a cautionary card, not to inspire concern, but rather to inspire curiosity. There is more to a situation, person, opportunity, or even an apparent absence of activity or success, than meets the eye. You could imagine it being like the universe has another card up its sleeve and is yet to show its full hand. A process has been set in motion but is “under the radar” of your awareness. Something is happening, even if that doesn’t appear to be the case. But just like a seed starts to grow into a plant, deep in the earth, apparently invisible and yet very real, you are being subjected to invisible but real forces of growth and healing at this time.

Because you cannot know what you don’t know, you will need to wait for more information to come to you. So if what you see, sense or feel is negative right now, don’t believe it! Things are going to shift and change and there will be a surprising twist in your life. Though you don’t see it coming, another piece of your life puzzle is going to reveal itself soon. It will help solve a difficulty or question you have been holding in your heart.

OUT OF DARKNESS

Something that has been troubling you, something dark within you or in your life, is about to become something else. You won’t see it coming, but when the time is right (and it soon will be), out of darkness will come new life. A seed of new life is growing. Perhaps you cannot see it or feel it because the seed begins its journey to new life in the darkness, hidden, away from sight and away from light. This seed is destined to bring new life to a situation that might seem to be dying, a fresh perspective to a stale problem.

When the time is right – and that is fast approaching – the seed will push through, rise up and reveal itself. It will no longer be just a seed, but a shoot that will grow into a plant and can then flower and bear fruit. It is not a question of whether or not it is going to happen. It is going to happen. It is just a matter of time. Whatever struggle or challenge is in your life or your heart right now, trust that it is going to work out. Not only that, but the very thing that seems to be darkest in your life, the most troublesome, is actually going to be what brings forth a beautiful gift of new life.

In a strange way, it is actually trying to help you. It is assisting you in being ready to receive and experience new life, for something new to be born in you and in your life. This might be the realisation of your own inner strength, your courage, the development of belief in yourself, confidence to trust your instincts or some other gift yet to be understood.

In time, you’ll see that those gifts – developed in order to get through the darkness – helped you step out of the darkness and into a whole new life. Soon you’ll see there was an opportunity and even a blessing hiding in the troubles of your past, just waiting for the right time to transform itself into light and life.

And most certainly as we head into March, and Spring approaching with the upward thrust of energy and growth, using and finding your voice and allowing it to be expressed throughout everything you do, think, create, be, say, touch. Happy Marvelous, Magnificent, Momentous, Magickal, Majestic, Mystical, Merry, Manifesting Monday! How was last night’s eclipse for you? Remember this energy isn’t just for that one day, it will be burbling along for a couple of months (yes, I did say months). So remember to continually come back to your intention and to watch where your thoughts go. If you find your mind wandering down the dark alleyway of fear and limiting beliefs, entice it back out into the open with a nice cuppa tea and a choccie biccie! Yes? But let’s talk about the energy of this amazing time. The energy is charged and deliciously delightful, did you know this is the last total lunar eclipse until 2021? Also, that it was visible over most of North America and South America? This is big and the energy is amazing! Many people are confused as to what a Super Moon, Blood Moon, Eclipse mean. So let’s have a look at that.

A Blood Moon is when there is a total lunar eclipse and the moon actually turns a blood red, it is quite amazing to see. Super Moon means that the Moon is closer to earth than it ever normally is, thus much, much bigger in the night sky. Wolf Moon – this is the name given to the Full Moon in January as it was said that the wolves howled at the moon due to lack of food. I personally prefer the Celtic story that says:-

“Lleuad Blaidd – Wolf Moon happens in “Faoilleach”, the old Gaelic/Irish winter month meaning “Month of the Wolf”. The cold January Wolf Moon lights the path of the hunters, showing them the way. Intuitive and shadowy, the wolf is often connected with the moon and her cycles. In Celtic mythology, the wolf is companion the fertile white Moon Goddess Cerridwen. Although often associate with war and destruction, the wolf is also linked to ancient mysteries of death and rebirth and guides to positive change. In Gaelic wolf “Madadh Alluidh” or “Mac-Tire”, meaning “Earth’s son”. Fierce, shy, loyal and cunning the wolf communicates power and leadership to the pack through its eyes, voice and body language.

Now what does this all mean to you?

If you remember Eclipses intensify and bring things out of the shadows and up to the surface. With this being a super moon and a full moon eclipse things can feel even more intensified. Now this may linger around until July (to be honest) when we have a partial lunar eclipse. Passions and emotions are going to be heightened to say the least and this is most certainly the moon to work with to get back to your path and the things that bring you joy! Now if you happen to be at a family dinner and Uncle Edward is a tad snappy and heightened (and no it’s not the red wine), let it go. Remember as a human body we are 60% water and a moon like this can move oceans all over the place, so think about your little cells, especially the fact that your brain and heart are 73% water! Now if you weren’t able to see the Moon, nor celebrate it – don’t fret – there is still time, this Moon impacts energy for the next 6 months -ish. So do your Full Moon release, set your intentions and really harness this energy for YOU! Remember, this is a year of joy, renewal and creation, so the dust bunnies that hang out in your psyche need to go find a new home! I personally grabbed a friend and we yomped down to the beach in the dark. I cast a circle (the second one of this month), called in the directions and lit candles. We then offered up pain, prayers, praise, passion and purpose as the moon went it’s glorious blood red, harnessing this intense energy for self, family, community and globally. It was amazing! What was also very cool was that quite a few people had gone down to the beach to watch, yet you couldn’t see them in the dark, you could just hear their murmurs mingled with the waves as they offered up their prayers. Very powerful! We then yomped back home and had huge mugs of hot tea as the temperature dropped 8 degrees! I also had all my crystals outside for the night.

Today is Martin Luther King day and why do I bring that up? If you think about it, he epitomises the energy of focusing on what was important to him, to his family, community and globally and he funneled his energy with laser focus towards making a difference. Even though others said it could not be done, things couldn’t change. Yet he did and he focused on following what was important to him, he was passionate about to following his dream. If you remember he gave a speech in 1963 that is called the “I have a Dream” speech. What amazing energy that really invites us all to take up a bigger space and to focus on our passions and how they can help, support, inspire and serve others. Absolutely perfect at this amazing Eclipse time!

Can you feel the energy of renewal, creation and expansion? The invitation to take up a bigger space? I most certainly can and when I saw cherry blossom and all the flowers popping up – I was like a Labrador puppy, absolutely wiggly with excitement!!!!

Okay, when I went and asked the cards who would like to share, guide and support this week I giggled out loud when I saw it was The Oracle of Shadows and Light, how appropriate for Eclipse time! This fairy is letting you know that it’s time to back off from a person or situation that is not in your best interests….and that you may need to be brave and stop being so welcoming of what you actually do not want! So, this blue fairy, waving her voodoo doll, is letting you know very clearly that you now must tell someone to take a step back. You know you have been overriding your instincts with what seems rational, with misguided desire to help and befriend someone who may not be particularly good for you.

Voodoo in Blue doesn’t mind if she looks bit nasty when she gives the back-off message: she’d rather she was loud and clear and that the person pushing her buttons leaves quickly. So, she wants you to start trusting your instincts. To start being honest above being “nice”.

Did you Remember to Remember?

Hello delicious lovely!! Happy Magnificent, Magickal, Manifesting, Majestic, Mesmerising, Mysterious, Memorable Monday! How are you on this glorious day?

Did you know that yesterday was the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day? (Which happened at the 11th hour on the 11th day in the 11th month in an 11 year!) Think about that. On Nov. 11, 1918, fighting in World War I came to an end following the signing of an armistice between the Allies and Germany that called for a ceasefire effective at 11 a.m.– it was on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. Yesterday marked the 100 years ago of the end of the First World War. Again, think about it. At that moment in time there was Peace and Hope of something different.

Personally, I think it is important to focus on those types of events, the ones that inspire Hope and Peace, and don’t get me wrong, there are all sorts of wars still being waged all over the world. But drop back into that space of Armistice, Hope and Peace – it is sooooo possible on every level in this world (at least that is my belief).

The other day I was in a grocery line up, with my butternut squash, Brussels and cheese (won’t that make an interesting meal), and wearing the Poppy that I always do for Remembrance Day – in fact this year I have bought 5 as I keep losing them or they dropped off. As I’m waiting in line for my turn the chap behind me started a rather odd debate with me about the wearing of a Poppy. He shared that he refused to wear one as it was a symbol of death to which I totally, 100% disagree. The Poppy to me is a symbol of Remembering those who bravely went to fight for our freedoms and well being. It is also a symbol of Hope, hope for our troops that are still deployed all over the world and Hope for a time of Peace. If you don’t know the story of the Poppy I felt compelled to go learn as much as possible and there is a great post here. As someone who was in the Military reserves and a reserve police officer and also having friends who were or still are in the military, let alone a father who was and a grandfather, I feel very strongly about the respect and honour that is due to those sacrifices and those that are still away from home.

Yesterday I went to a, new to me, Remembrance Day service in a community nearby and I have to say, the minute the bagpipes started playing I turned into a weeping person! There is something about the sound of bagpipes that pulls at my heart strings and dances through my soul and then tears start to flow! Does anyone else have this response? Because I was standing there with tears dripping down my face and not a tissue in sight! (This is where my mother’s voice kicks in and reminds me to always carry tissues upon one’s person.)

Today as I was talking to the cards and asking who would like to be present, the conversation with the gentleman in the grocery store burbled up and it really got me to thinking about Peace and Hope. So as I went for my early morning loop and yomp onto the beach, that conversation burbled and burbled some more and there was a feeling of defiance towards the gentleman who had declared the poppy as bad! When I came home feeling ocean refreshed and calm the deck that really bolted to the forefront was the Wild Kuan Yin Oracle. Now if this deck is new to you, or you can’t remember what it is about, let me tell you it is delicious. It is a very loving deck that is filled with divine defiance and an untamed heart – helping us humans move from conditioning to wild divinity. “Great spiritual beings are frequently known to thwart convention, not simply for the sake of it, but because they live in a reality beyond the limited mindsets of mainstream culture. They know that life is not what mainstream culture believes it to be. Within every human heart is the potential to take such a wild divine leap, but the courage it takes to break free from conditioning and stand apart from the crowd is enormous. There are challenges along the way, and yet the lure of freedom is so strong at a certain point on the spiritual path. There is a hunger for living beyond what we are told is possible, passionate push from the soul to live according to inner truths rather than social and cultural conditioning.” Thus, if this resonates for you, come along……. I will also say these are the hardest cards to take a picture of!

The crystals that wanted to join in are Ruby Zoisite, Cinabrite and Malachite – yes they do all end in “ite”. Oh yes, some of the beach treasures and the most bizarre piece of a Monkey Tree wanted to come join as well!

Before you pick a card I want you to allow in Peace. What is Peace? What does Peace within you, Peace from you and Peace all surrounding you look and feel like to you? So I invite you to take a moment, just a moment and breathe with that. As you take a glorious deep breath in through your nose vibrate the word Peace in your mind and as you exhale through an open mouth send out the intention of Peace & Hope to whomever or whatever you choose. Keep breathing in this way and repeating the vibration of Peace within you, Peace from you and Peace and Hope gently surrounding you. When you feel ready, gently open your eyes pick your card/cards and let’s go see who wants to come be with you this week.

THE SNOW SHEPHERDESS

I come to you with news of unexpected life. Something that seemed once impossible, without energy or hope of success, is coming to life. Not only is this an unexpected happening but it will be taking place when you think it is least likely. I come with the decree that life shall have its way, no matter what circumstances appear to dictate, and in the midst of great loss, scarcity or denial of life, a blessing of abundance, fertility and new beginnings will be given. So it shall be, by divine decree.

Life has its own power to prevail. Whilst abundance may be more obvious when we are in feast instead of famine, or in a lush jungle instead of a desert (whether or not an oasis looms over the next sandhill), life will happen even in the most unlikely situations. The small green shoot that sprouts out of a crack in a city pavement is an expression of life’s bold, prevailing will.

Your job is to not lose yourself in doubt, nor to grow attached to a particular outcome. It is to be curious and patient, to go about your life with the silent expectation within your heart that, somehow, things are going to work out – in ways you cannot necessarily see, sense or feel at the moment. Being told there will be a surprise doesn’t negate the surprise, but it does give us a chance to ignite hope which softens disappointment and despair. It allows us to have the courage to trust in what is coming, not enslaved by what has or has not had a chance to be.

Whatever it is you are dreaming or imagining, no matter how improbable it seems, how at odds with logic it may appear to be, or however many people look at you like you are mad when you share your dream with them – believe. Put your faith in life. Let go of how and when, but do not let go of your dream. Let life manifest it for you through its natural power, which is considerable, and its natural impulse towards growth.

THE PRINCESS OF RED POPPIES

I dwell in an expansive reality, beyond time and space, where the past has been, the future is yet to be, and what stretches out in all directions, with unlimited potential, is this living radiant moment. The past is well and truly behind you now. Though at times you may struggle to feel free from what has once been, be assured that any power the past has held over you is rapidly coming to a close. Do not hesitate to accept this gift. It only comes to you when it is the right time. Sometimes we need to make peace with the past by working through its nuances and recognise what we have learned and how we have grown. At other times, we have done all that we are capable of doing, and the time to move on is upon us, even if things don’t yet feel absolutely finished. This is one of those times for you. Accept this grace so that you can be ready for your future.

ANCHOR TO FLY

You dream of taking flight, of living with a heart free to soar, your whole being unfettered by restraint as you rise up to meet your destiny. You yearn to experience the next exhilarating level of your life expression, your path, your dreams. And so you shall. I am here to help anchor your growth, so that your highest aspirations can be seeded in this earthly world, transforming your hopes into reality, ensuring practical success for even your most transcendent, spiritually-inspired visions.

Trying to escape the world by hovering above it doesn’t help us bring our dreams to life. Fantasies, where the mind takes flight, can become the seeds of truly inspired ideas, but to transform those inspirations into reality we need to be grounded. What this means is putting in the time and effort for taking practical steps towards our goals. That does not include attempting to control life – including other people and their choices, or the timing of how and when the events in our life unfold. It does include completing tasks to the best of our ability and consciously choosing to let go if we find we are trying to force something to happen, trusting in the loving genius of a great and benevolent universe that wants our divine fulfillment to manifest.

Being grounded though doesn’t mean we give up desire and effort to learn how to take flight. What is meant by taking flight is the ability to feel free, to feel unfettered by negativity or doubt, to feel as though we are hurtling towards our destiny under the guardianship and guidance of the Divine, dreaming up beautiful, wild, exalted visions of delicious possibility with absolute trust. It is an exhilarating feeling of freedom, joy and expansiveness. It feels like flying!

When we do everything within our power to succeed whilst dropping all attachment, we are grounded and we can fly successfully. Without the effort, we waft away from the earth like a lost kite. Without detachment, we cannot rise from the earth and become weighed down by a distrustful need to control. We need the combination of effort and letting go with trust to become anchored enough to truly fly. Your heart is ready for this unconditional trust and the sense of lightness, freedom and joy it brings.

Have confidence in yourself and your work, in what you are capable of doing in the physical world. The desires you wish to manifest are placed in your heart for good reason. To bring them to life requires that you use all your skills and abilities. Don’t pull back from the challenge of that growth. Become so free of mind that whether your success comes to you in a few moments from now, or in a year or more, it matters not to you. You can make such a choice. And the more you let go, becoming light of mind, the more you can fly and the swifter your journey shall unfold. Let your head connect to the unlimited inspiration of the heavens and your feet stay grounded upon the earth, and enjoy your spiraling outwards into ever-increasing life, love and manifestation of your dreams – all whilst being guided and assisted by the Divine Mother.

Oh my gosh, I love how the cards reflect what is happening or the choices that are available. Life Prevails, Release the Past, Ground and Anchor. These are all conundrums that I am sure we have all experienced at one point or another. Interesting to see that the releasing the past with blessings involves poppies! That made me grin from ear to ear. So delicious lovely, I wish you a glorious week of waxing moon energy and the threads of Peace and Hope to weave through your day to day. Remember to breathe, smile as often as possible (it has a bigger impact than eating 100 chocolate bars!), move your body and offer out Peace, Hope and Love to all you meet this week. The Eclipse is Past and Lammas is coming!

Happy Magnificent, Magickal Monday! How are you feeling with the Full Lunar Eclipse just having happened? Remember this energy isn’t just for that one day, it will be burbling along for a couple of months (yes, I did say months). So remember to continually come back to your intention and to watch where your thoughts go. If you find your mind wandering down the dark alleyway of fear and limiting beliefs, entice it back out into the open with a cooling ice cream! Yes?

We have had unrelenting heat for the last 2 months and I have to admit it is getting a bit wearing. Don’t get me wrong, I love the sun, but when it’s 100F day in, day out it makes it draining to do things out doors (and that makes me grumbly and grumply lol). Although, yesterday I did spend 8 hours putting sheathing up on the workshop I’m building (which is looking like a tiny home) and figuring out the roof pitch and rafter cuts, so that was quite satisfying. However, with the heat I was a puddle of a person with gobs of sawdust stuck all over me, so a cooling shower and an iced glass of lemonade was quite refreshing.

August is rapidly approaching which means on Wednesday we get to welcome in and celebrate Lammas! Whoot! Whoot! (Note I said Lammas and not Llamas, although if you feel inclined to celebrate Llamas go for it). Lammas is the first Harvest Festival of the year, it is a time of awareness that the strength of the Sun (Lugh) is beginning to wane and there is a shift and change afoot. Active growth is slowing down and the darker days of winter and reflection are gently and slowly raising their heads. I love Lammas as it’s such a glorious celebration of food, first harvest and gathering. If you have no clue what I am talking about and what to find out more and learn an easy abundance charm for this time, I have you covered here.

Now enough chuntering from me, let’s crack on with the reading. With the Eclipse just past and all of us in this time of transformation and change, it was no surprise to see that the Oracle of Shadows and Light were adamant to come out to play. Now, if you have never encountered these gorgeous, quirky guides before let me share with you. These lovely guides ask you to step out from the shadows, to no longer hide your light away, and to consult with an oracle that acknowledges your individuality and strange genius!

LADY WITH A BOSCH EGG

The Lady with the Bosch Egg is the one in this lifetime who has been chosen to keep safe, and sometimes keep secret, deep esoteric knowledge. Through history’s most troubled times, there have always been courageous beings ensuring that sacred knowledge was kept alive. Even though the world may burn, and disasters befall humanity, and wars take down cities, there will always be those brave souls who will take the knowledge, represented by the Bosch egg, camouflage it, and keep it safe so that at a later time, when the world is finally ready, we can all learn.

I hope you that you understand the history of the knowledge you crave, and respect and acknowledge the freedom of the times you now live in, and do the work yourself. It may be that at some time you too will find my egg and that you are the person chosen to speak of the knowledge others thought was lost. Or it may be that you too are a guardian of wisdom: if you are, know when to keep silent, know what to keep to yourself, and know that some secretes come to light at the right time. I bring you now the symbols of the alchemist, the secrets of the Gnostics, and the wisdom of the magicians and the witches and the herbalists….all saved for this time, in this strange form of egg.

It may feel to you that you are receiving wisdom from ancient sources and that some of its energy may feel unfamiliar to you, even dark. It is likely that you are receiving messages from times when people like you, misfits and mystics, were oppressed and punished for their natural gifts. CANDY CANE ANGEL

The Candy Cane Angel is in charge of letting you know when it is time for some little luxuries that will reconnect you with your self-love and self-worth. She, too, holds back from giving to herself, as she is such an earnest and industrious little angel – but her message is always clear; it is time for some fun!

As she says clearly to you “You know what my problem is? And you know what your problem is? No? Well, let me tell you. Our problem is that we both feel guilty about giving ourselves pleasure. See this little treat in my hands? It’s not bad, is it? It’s not evil, is it? But can I bring myself to just sit down and taste every moment of its sugary sweet delights? No. I have to wonder if it’s the right time. If I have done enough to earn this treat. To wonder why I should get this when so many do not have a single candy cane for their own selves! I torment myself with these things – and so do you!

How about we make a deal? Next time you ponder a gift to yourself: a massage, a treat, a spiritual workshop, a delicious meal, time to laugh with a friend, a long rest or nap, meditation time, a space clear…..know that when you energetically tell yourself “I am way too busy for that indulgence,” you are really saying, ‘I do not deserve that!’ Well, let’s decide that you do! I am about to have my treat. I now charge you with the same quest. Give yourself that which you have been denying yourself. You do deserve it!”

Do not rationalise or talk yourself out of it any longer. Step out of the consciousness of lack and into the consciousness of “I deserve,” and grant yourself this lovely moment of luxury. It’s time for some joie de vivre and enjoyment to restage a grand entrance into your life!
