New Moon Solar Eclipse, Hope and a Candle Ritual.

Happy Marvelous, Magnificent, Magnanimous, Magickal, Mysterious, Manifesting, Miraculous Monday! How are you delicious lovely? Are you keeping your sense of balance as the holiday season ramps up with fervour and a tad of franticness?

We have lots to natter about this week, so grab a cuppa as we go explore this potent New Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius that happens on Saturday, a New Moon Total Solar Eclipse is one of the most powerful Eclipses we can experience and why we should turn out thoughts towards Hope.

As Forever shares:- “Let’s take a trip down memory lane, all the way back to May 2020. What growth have you achieved since this time? How has your life changed?

Since May 2020, we have been working our way through the Sagittarius-Gemini Eclipse cycle, but this cycle is now coming to an end and will wrap up on December 3/4, with a final New Moon Total Solar Eclipse.

Reaching the endpoint in an Eclipse cycle is a significant moment. It represents arriving at a new destination. It is a point in our lives where something or some part of us is fully reborn and fully integrated, and ready to play an active part in our lives.

So much has unfolded in the world since May of 2020. On a collective level, there was a grieving experience that unfolded as we were all forced to change our way of living. Events were canceled, holidays were postponed, jobs were lost. And it is perhaps only now that we are starting to see just how this chain reaction of events has led us to where we stand today.

Of course, while this energy was experienced on a collective level, we also have our own personal stories too and leading up to this Total Solar Eclipse, we may now start to see a pattern in how we were being guided and where we were being asked by the Universe to level up in our lives.

Eclipses represent portals into new states of consciousness. They tend to bring events that shift and transform our lives, allowing us to step into a new chapter of our soul’s evolution.

This New Moon Total Solar Eclipse falls in Sagittarius and is like the last step on this journey we have been traveling. It opens the final door on this path and can bring the rewards of our hard work. Whatever this Eclipse cycle has triggered in us, however we have been asked to grow and change, we will now start to see the end of the journey.

A new clarity will emerge, and with that new clarity, it will feel like we are opening to a new chapter.

There is no doubt that New Moon Eclipses are powerful times of manifestation and can activate whatever we have been sowing. Under their presence, energy is drawn towards us, allowing our energy field to become a magnet to whatever needs to come our way.

While this Solar Eclipse is bringing the culmination of all our energies since this Eclipse cycle began, we can also use it to set an intention about what we wish to attract. We can use its energy in a deliberate way to draw in all that we wish to experience.

So with this potent energy available to you, let’s explore Hope.

Now you may be thinking to yourself – ummm, errr, Jen why are we talking about Hope?

Yesterday was the first Sunday (or candle of Advent). Advent includes the four Sundays prior to Christmas, and is a time of inner searching, introspection and anticipation.

It is through the darkness of the Earth we await the birth of a new inner light to warm our hearts and strengthen our thoughts and deeds. Advent is a journey inward to the soul, where we become aware of the eternal light that lightens our way.

It is also so beautifully entwined in the northern hemisphere with the Winter Solstice and the return of the Sun, and in the southern hemisphere with Summer– celebrating the Sun.

For those celebrating the Advent festival, and to all spiritual beliefs and traditions, this time of year has something special for everyone – the Season of Light on so many levels.

As we turn inwards with the energy of the season and walk into the darkness, It is a time of seeking and keeping that light aglow and sharing the light.

The delicious piece here is that as you step into the darkness to release, there is a place for Hope.

Now I will be honest, the word “Hope” has never been one of my favourite words as I find it is used far too much i.e. – I hope the kids do their chores, I hope I win the lottery, I hope the cat doesn’t cough a hairball on the clean laundry………. So the word Hope always felt a bit banal to me, thus, I went exploring and reading and have to say I really like this definition, it is one I can get behind:-

“Hope is a feeling of trust, a security, and a reason to keep going. It is a passionate desire of our heart. It is a feeling of expectation and a longing for a certain thing to happen.” – Verity Russell

So let me ask – What do you Hope for?

When my kids were small they went to Waldorf for their wee years and in Waldorf education, each week of Advent is assigned a “theme” of sorts and is a time for reflection and gratitude towards the different realms of our earth: stones & minerals; plants; animal kingdom; and humankind.

Over the last few weeks I have been making candles galore, filled with essential oils, dried flowers, crystals and magick. Thus, over the weekend, I gathered ivy and cedar and made a wreath that sits on my dining room table with five of the lovely candles that I have made.

As I lit the first one I breathed in Hope, and also honoured the stones and the bones by decorating around that candle with seashells, crystals and beach stones.

As the first verse says – The first light of Advent is the light of stone–. Light that lives in crystals, seashells, and bones.

Doing this reminds me we are all connected and we have lots to be grateful for (even on those dark days).

So an invitation for you to deepen into this practice over the next month is a simple candle ritual. And if you are part of The Creatrix Circle, you will know that ritual is an intention made manifest. A ritual takes an idea, thought or emotions and gives it physical form in the world.

A ritual allows your body, your cells to understand your intention..

Get 4 or 5 candles. You can make a wreath, or place them on your mantelpiece or wherever resonates for you. Then put some lovely crystals, stones or shells by the first one – the candle of Hope. Then every evening this week light the first candle and as it burns breathe in Hope, turn your mind, heart and soul over to Hope. And let that gentle energy dance in your body as the flame dances on the candle. Yes?

Now enough chuntering from me, let’s crack on with the reading. When I went to the cards to ask who would like to be present this week it made my heart smile to see who showed up. The amazing Faery Blessing guides were most adamant. As after all, who doesn’t need a Blessing?

Now if these guides are new to you, please let me introduce them as it would be rude not to.

For humans, many of us have lost our sense of play, our sense of relationship with nature, our courage to be ourselves – as well as our hope, creativity, and personal power. We have looked outside of ourselves and nature and the sacred ones for answers, and in doing so, we have become quite lost. The blessings of the faeries can bring us back into relationship with ourselves, back into relationship with the elements and the elementals, so that we can become more at home within the world, while creating a personal world which supports our dreams, our wishes, and our purpose.

Yes! Positively perfect!

So gorgeous one take a breath. Just a normal breath and then as you carry on breathing allow it to slow down. Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth. Allow in your mind’s eye a gorgeous rainbow swirl to form, this pattern is made Hope. That deep trust and knowing. As you breathe just let it swirl, you don’t have to control it.

Then when you are ready pick the card or cards that whisper to you and tickle your soul.

A BLESSING OF GLAMOUR

The Blessing of faery glamour is the gift of being able to change and appear a little different than how we feel to be. For some people, this could seem a ruse or manipulation. In truth, though, it is the ability to draw deeply from within us to find the strength to become what we need to be. You are now gifted the blessing of faery glamour, and you will find you can draw confidence from deep within you in challenging circumstances.

The faeries will lend you some of their energy, too, so you can feel brave within an intimidating situation – overcome nerves that might prevent you from doing something you would otherwise enjoy, find the strength to confront what must be confronted, or head to a meeting with confidence.

Faery glamour is also the ability to physically change. So to others you may now seem a little taller, and you will have greater belief in your own presence, now, too, to know that you draw your energy up from within and have influence by showing all of what you can be.

Let the mantle of the blessing of glamour now fall about you, to help you feel and be powerful, even when exhausted; to feel attractive, despite societal conditioning and criticism; to speak your truth, when you feel afraid of what the truth’s reception will be.

May you be invisible when you do not wish to be seen and be seen when you wish to have presence. You now have the gift of glamour, and you can use it to call upon your own faery blood to arise and be of assistance to you when the travails of the human world can seem a burden.

Draw up the glamour from within and assert a boundary, repel a predator, create an impression, and believe in yourself once again.

A BLESSING OF NWYFRE

The Faery now offer you the gift of Nwyfre, the blessing of healthy energy, clear and revitalising, which will manifest in a kind of flow all about you, radiating from within. This primal force of energy, Nwyfre, will give you more energy to move well, to be of good cheer, to do what needs to be done, and to do what you wish to do.

With this faery blessing comes a sense of being here, of being grounded and centred, of strength and a thriving energy, of feeling strong and well, connected and supported. You will feel the urge to spend time outdoors, within natural light – with the trees, or with the animals, or the ocean or bodies of water. All of these sources of natural life force will feel more connected to you than before, almost as if the world is speaking with you and you can speak to the world in return.

If you have felt nervous, or frail, unwell, or uncertain, this flow of Nwyfre will enter you, a blessing from the realm of the fae, and it will be of great assistance. A BLESSING OF THE SEELIE

A gift from the Seelie Court is yours. The Seelie Court is a place where you are treated with courtesy and honour, respect and grace. To be blessed by the Seelie is to have kindness enter your life. This blessing from the Seelie Court acknowledges the courtesy and respect you have extended to others, and the kindnesses you have done, again and again, without thought for what you would receive in return.

The Seelie have been observing your goodness, and due to this goodness, you are now receiving a reward. You will find consideration and empathy, understanding and rewards, when this blessing comes to you. There could be a small windfall, a little extra of everything – so that, suddenly, it seems like the Universe is supporting you, and that what once was a struggle becomes easier.

In the old days, the blessing of the Seelie meant the cow’s milk was sweeter and more abundant, the grain grew high in the fields, and babes grew strong in days filled with gentle sunshine.

For you, your tender plans and hopes will have every kindness to support them, as the blessing of the Court of the Seelie is yours, and with that, comes a time of grace and ease, compassion and flow.

Two Steps Forward ,One Step Back and how to play with Via Transformativa!

Happy Marvelous, Magnificent, Magnanimous, Magickal, Mysterious, Manifesting, Miraculous Monday! How are you most delicious lovely? If you were in the States did you have a wonderful long weekend? I hope you took time to play, relax and just BE!

With July upon us the energy has shifted and guess what theme we are working with this month? Go on, have a guess………

TWO STEPS FORWARD, ONE STEP BACK! (Doesn’t that sound like glorious fun?) Lol.

As Lena shares:- “You may have a negative reaction to this theme, but actually two steps forward and one step back is exactly where we need to be right now. With new energy, enthusiasm and inspiration coming in, we are all champing at the bit to get going, get moving, and get productive. However, with every push forward, there is a need to look back at what needs to happen first. Whether it is a final forgiveness, a necessary emotional clearing, a completion of a karma, some physical detox, the release of a relationship or other attachment, or simply just a need to take a second look at some plan before leaping into it, the step back is a necessary reflection to ensure the movement forward is truly aligned, balanced and something we want.

There is always great resistance to the step back as it feels like being held back against our will. The challenging obstacles that are up this month are Martyrdom (feeling victimized by the step back) and Impatience (the fear that the step back is losing us precious time and opportunity). Usually people fall into one or the other and many of you will experience both. We are also dealing with a bit of stubbornness as a resistance to letting go and embracing change.

Remember that with Martyrdom, there is always a choice and the choice this month should be to use the step back in a productive and proactive way. “

So how are you going to do that?

I have had a myriad of conversations over the last couple of weeks with friends, clients, colleagues who are all feeling this energy and some are rather aggravated and others are a tad befuddled and confused, and then there are some who are really relaxing back into it and using it to their advantage.

Personally, I have felt a burbling for the last 2 months or so now of huge change and transformation, so I have been tapping into the inspiration, creating shifts in my time so that I can listen clearly to it and act on it. Whilst also using the step back energy to clear my space both physically (I literally have hardly any clothes left now and my cutlery drawer is immaculate!) To energetically tidying up energy drains, setting clear boundaries and taking my days off to do what I’m meant to do – which is play! Which in turn enhances my intuition and creativity which feeds the transformation. So it all is like a delicious Infinity symbol that nourishes and works.

Over in Creatrix Circle we have been exploring over the year Via Negativa, the path to Spirit through darkness, suffering, and the void. Via Positiva, the path to Goddess through light, dance and joy. Via Creativa, the way of co-creation and giving birth. And we are now working with the final path to Goddess is the Via Transformativa, the way of transformation.

We are transformed, and that leads us to transform the world. The Via Transformativa is also a celebration of the other three paths’ culmination.

We are brought to our knees in celebration of the beautiful earth – of Soil, Soul, and Society – and we are called to give back. We are called to join “the dance of all creation in the quest for balance.”

What is transforming you – what has broken your heart, cracked it wide open, and called to you for change? How can you help transform it?

Thus, for this month I invite you to really take a delicious dive into the Via Transformativa energy and meld it with the Two Steps Forward, One Step Back. Using the time and space to transform so that you can step forward with alignment and authenticity.

Think of the pieces that would make up your own Infinity symbol.

Okay – now let’s crack on with the reading. When I sat with all my lovely decks and asked who felt a strong urge to come support and guide us this week The Oracle of Shadows & Light were most adamant that they needed to be front and center.

Now, if these guides are new to you, let me briefly introduce you:- “Bittersweet, Unheard, Unconventional, Rebellious, Cheeky, Whimsical, Invisible….. They’re not words you often hear associated with the spiritual world, are they? So delicious lovely, take a moment. Just wiggle your fingers and toes and breathe into all the corners, pockets and creases in your body. Allow yourself to breathe into the step back, the place of aligned transformation. Breathe this in and as you exhale through an open mouth let go of anything that is keeping you tight and tense. Allow your mind to calm and when you are ready ask the guides who want to come support you this week, then pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

TWO LITTLE WITCHES

From out of the shadows come the Two Little Witches, solemn and sincere. They fix you with their clear green and blue gaze, and ready you for the magick that is the broom they are about to pass on to you! And what is the magickal secret of this broom?

Why, that it can sweep clear any old, stale energy that is lurking about you at the moment.

Take this broom and see it whisk all by itself once, twice, three times, widdershins around your house, your hearth, your home, and it will clear out all that is hiding in the shadows of the corners and the underneath of the rooms of your soul and home!

Widdershins is the traditional direction for clearing energy. It means against the sun, and in the northern hemisphere, to go widdershins is to direct energy in a counterclockwise direction. In the southern hemisphere, it is to direct energy clockwise.

When it is doen, they clap their hands three times, and the broom returns to their arms, and they move on to the next home that needs their help.

But now that is done, what will you fill your space and your life with? That is the greatest, and tricksiest, choice of all, but one which only you can make!

So go move the furniture and clear away what you no longer need. Whenever we make a change, we always rediscover stuff we’ve been hanging on to. Stuff that weighs us down, without even realising it was there. Time for a space clear for you!

WITCH AT THE END OF THE WORLD

Storms fly about her, electrical whips crack through the heavy air with their bites of fire, and she sits among them, hugging her hourglass, holding everything together till the force creating the change has done its work. When the Witch at the End of the World makes her appearance to you, you will know that something’s time has come. There can be no more delaying, for the change has begun. So the best thing for you to do now is prepare for this change. Find solutions to challenges that will come up when the change comes. You will be fine, by the way, and all will be well, but there will be a time of seeming chaos and difficulty. If you are prepared, and ready to let go and change, and let something end, the little witch’s countdown will not affect you as it will affect others who refuse to acknowledge that changes are coming and become fearful at their inevitable approach. There is nothing to fear, but plenty to prepare for. You will be safe, and well, and very ready to embrace the new world.

I am not wicked, but I am a witch, and changes are made when the world bends and shifts. I hold this hourglass up to you now so you know that the time for an ending is almost upon us. You can see the signs all about you – the strange weather, the hurricanes, the cyclones, the earth changes all about us – but so many simply say I am wicked for showing you this. They blame me for what they call the catastrophes, and they ignore the signs. They are with you, and it is time to be ready. We are all about to experience a huge change – and it will be for the better. But while we hold on to the old, the storms will blast us, and the land will shift, and self-healing will look like destruction.

There is nothing to be frightened of; only a voyage to weather, and you’ll make it through to the other side of the storm. The changes are part of our journey to a fifth-dimensional world, of the shift to a more peaceful planet, where shadows and light are loved and accepted. All is well.

CANDY CANE ANGEL

The Candy Cane Angel is in charge of letting you know when it is time for some little luxuries that will reconnect you with your self-love and self-worth. She, too, holds back from giving to herself, as she is such an earnest and industrious little angel – but her message is always clear; it is time for some fun!

As she says clearly to you “You know what my problem is? And you know what your problem is? No? Well, let me tell you. Our problem is that we both feel guilty about giving ourselves pleasure. See this little treat in my hands? It’s not bad, is it? It’s not evil, is it? But can I bring myself to just sit down and taste every moment of its sugary sweet delights? No. I have to wonder if it’s the right time. If I have done enough to earn this treat. To wonder why I should get this when so many do not have a single candy cane for their own selves! I torment myself with these things – and so do you! How about we make a deal? Next time you ponder a gift to yourself: a massage, a treat, a spiritual workshop, a delicious meal, time to laugh with a friend, a long rest or nap, meditation time, a space clear…..know that when you energetically tell yourself “I am way too busy for that indulgence,” you are really saying, ‘I do not deserve that!’ Well, let’s decide that you do! I am about to have my treat. I now charge you with the same quest. Give yourself that which you have been denying yourself. You do deserve it!”

Do not rationalise or talk yourself out of it any longer. Step out of the consciousness of lack and into the consciousness of “I deserve,” and grant yourself this lovely moment of luxury. It’s time for some joie de vivre and enjoyment to restage a grand entrance into your life!

New Moon Eclipse, Summer Solstice and Shake Up Time!

Happy Miraculous, Magnificent, Moody, Melancholic, Magickal, Majestic, Moodling, Manifesting Monday! The first Monday in June (how the heck did we end up in June already?) Time is doing some very interesting things for sure! So let me ask – how are you delicious lovely? How was your Full Moon Eclipse?

I will say that I most certainly feel Eclipse energy, but this one handed my arse to me in a paper bag! It was so interesting to witness the feelings that surged up, along with the thoughts and the intense desire to shut the world out and just curl up in the closet with a blankie and close the door! But witnessing and welcoming, without judgement, were the key things that came to the forefront.

So guess what’s happening this week? Frigging Lots!!!

We have the wonderful Mercury retrograde in Gemini, we have the New Moon Eclipse in Gemini. The Shamanic energy of the month is SHAKE UP (if you remember May was TIME TO CHOSE), and we have Summer Solstice rapidly approaching!

Okay, this year Summer Solstice (aka Litha) comes to us this Sunday (June 20th). If you are in the Southern Hemisphere it is your glorious Winter Solstice (aka Yule). And I’m so excited! As I’m sure you know by now, I love celebrating most things – heck I will even celebrate a thunderstorm. However, I love, love, love Solstices and Equinoxes the mostest (and all the other celebrations).

Now you may be thinking – Jen what’s the big deal, what does this Solstice thing matter? Honey, ask me about the ritual and intention I set 3 years ago now and what happened in the space of 2 months, that now allows me to live by the ocean! The intention I set last year allows me to do what I love!

Thus grasshopper Solstice does matter, it matters very much. It’s one of the biggest celebrations on the Wheel of the Year. We are now moving from the element Air (ideas) to Fire (Action and Passion) and Summer Solstice is the celebration of the sun, which is masculine and all about Passion, Action etc. Summer Solstice also marks the longest day of the year – Whoot!

Summer Solstice (also known as Litha) is all about abundance, growth, expansion.

And yes, for all of you who have been asking if there is going to be a Book of Summer Solstice – you bet. If you are part of our email community you will hear about it on Thursday.

Oh yes, and for those of you who have been asking if there is going to be a Solstice reading special – I’m still perking it as there are lots of things in the works right now, so I will let you know next week. Okay.

So mull over the energy of Summer Solstice and throw onto it (think of making a layer cake) the Shamanic energy of June which is SHAKE UP! (Makes me think of the Elvis song my parents used to play when I was little called – All Shook Up, except it’s not about being in Love!

Okay, so what does SHAKE UP mean to and for you? The best person to answer that is the amazing Lena.

“We are in a destabilized time of mental confusion, frustrations around what no longer works, and tremendous opportunities to approach our lives in a new way. Post last month’s powerful full moon and eclipse, we are also in a learning and integration period where we must look back to see and acknowledge what we have left behind that is no longer available to us. Do so with gratitude and faith. No regrets. We have crossed the bridge and there is no going back.

This month there is an internal shake up and external shake up. Internal shakeup is the shakeup of belief systems, your life as you once knew it, identity shifts, emotional challenges of dealing with confusion, change, doubt and trust. External shake up includes literal earth shaking, as in earthquakes and other environmental intensities, unexpected political decisions affecting greater communities and even countries, sudden losses, sudden gains, spontaneous opportunities, some doors closing, some doors opening, and the effects of other people’s decisions and changes on your life as you know it.

The internal shake up requires you to pay attention to your own truth and what is important as you adjust and adapt to a new landscape. The external shake up requires patience, understanding, resilience, community efforts and trusting in right timing. There is an aspect this month of cooperation, sharing with others and collaboration that is key to starting the rebuild of a new foundation for our collective future.

You will feel the need to find balance between personal alone time to integrate your own process, and community time to inspire each other with the possibilities and opportunities for growth and advancement.”

(See I told you it wasn’t so like the Elvis song!)

Then on Thursday June 10th we have the New Moon Eclipse in Gemini, which asks you to trust in whatever has been moving and shaking for you. Know that whatever needs to fall away will fall, and whatever needs to stay will stay. That is the nature and power of Eclipses.

On a human level, we can find ourselves labeling things or events as good or bad, but on a soul level, we understand the bigger picture and know that all experiences serve their purpose. Recognizing this duality within us can be tricky, but may also help to bring some ease as we navigate any changing or unsettling energies that flow our way.

In fact, a good reminder under this Eclipse energy is to not believe everything you think or hear!

A great mantra for this New Moon Eclipse is “Let everything that needs to go, go. Let everything that needs to come, come. All is well.”

So with all this rather “interesting”, yet inviting tumultuous energy around, Summer Solstice intentions are even more important! Trust me!

So with all of that chuntering on, let’s crack on with the reading. BRIGHT DESTINY

To become truly yourself, shining your divine beauty and light, you will go through a process of releasing what is no longer right and true for you. Like the caterpillar who sheds the chrysalis when it is time to emerge as the butterfly, you will let go of the person you once thought you needed to be. This can feel freeing, exciting. It can also seem frightening. You may feel crazy sometimes, trying to hold onto a past that is no longer available to you and grasping for a future that is yet to be.

Sometimes, it can feel like a dark night of the soul, filled with questioning and confusion. Others may not understand what is happening, and you may feel as though you can’t really explain it, either. In such times, we have to trust that all the changes and uncertainty are part of a process of growth – letting go in order to open up to something amazing and new. This is happening for you now. You don’t have to be afraid. You are going through this because you are ready for it, even if you think you’re not. There is a loving reason for all of it, even if you cannot see that right now. Put your faith in the mystery. Trust that the answers will come – and so will the joy of all that you have grown into. Stay true to your path and know that you have a bright destiny ahead.

For now, let the process happen. Fear can make us try to force something that isn’t quite ready yet. Don’t try to impose a meaning, take action or understand it all prematurely. Don’t think too hard! It’s OK to relax and trust that the moment of clarity will come when the time is right.

PRIORITY OF PURPOSE

Making a choice can be hard, as if to say yes to one thing, you have to say no to fifteen other things! Remember that saying no is just saying, “not right now”, rather than “never”. There is a higher plan for your life that includes all of your passions. You can do it all, but just not all at once. Your soul knows how to build your most inspired and beautiful divine life, as though it were building an extraordinary temple for your spirit. It knows that the foundations need to be prepared and the walls built before the windows, doors and skylight can be installed. The roof may be absolutely one-of-a-kind incredible, but if you try to lay the roof before you’ve built the walls, you are going to have some problems!

There is a certain order to how things need to happen, which the soul intuitively knows. That is why listening to the soul and trusting your inner guiding voice makes more sense than trying to accomplish everything straight away and ending up with so much less than you deserve for all that effort. Every moment of patience and sacrifice that you make now is stored up by the Universe as a sweet grace that you will receive back later, as everything falls into place so perfectly. Tune in and trust your soul to show you how to gain everything you ever dreamed of, one simple step at a time.

EARTH GODDESS

You have beautiful dreams and wonderful visions of what life could be. It is not enough to imagine them. You want to live them! This is exactly how you are meant to feel. For that to happen, you must practice feeling grounded, taking practical earthly steps, one at a time, to bring your dreams to life. The Universe will send so much help your way, bu you are the one who must take the steps. Spirit cannot do that for you. Even if you are not sure how your biggest, boldest dreams can come together, you can still ask yourself, “What is it that I can do now?”

Sometimes, it will be an obvious action that you can take, and, sometimes you will need to pray and meditate and ask for the way forward to be shown. When you can do something, do it. When you cannot, rest and wait for your intuition to nudge you when the time is right to take action. Remember, you are an Earth Goddess. You have the power to manifest your visions, to bring your beautiful ideas to life in the world. This is what you are here to do. Remember to love yourself enough to recognise your creative power and use it joyfully each day.

There’s a fantasy that wants to become reality for you. Don’t let a few gritty moments or human imperfections prevent you from experiencing the joy of heaven on Earth.

Blessings, Sore Ass and Full Moon (no pun intended lol)

Happy Magnificent, Magickal, Mesmerising, Musical, Marvelous, Manifesting Monday!

How are you? Did you take some time to play with the wonderful energy of the Equinox? I most certainly did and I will say I had a positively stupendous, one of a kind Equinox weekend and the shift that I feel in my body, mind and spirit are immense that I would love to share with you.

Now don’t get me wrong, my life for the most part is really quite lovely and I feel very Blessed. However, I will say the first part of March felt very fractious, heavy and agitated. My ego was certainly trying to drive the bus and was having a tough time with acceptance, release and my mind was certainly not being my friend! So it was divine to have the Equinox experience and feel it move, shift and release.

So, Friday night I took some time to sit out in the dark and write (by candlelight) all the things that I had been fretting with, trying to control, allowing my ego to run rampant with – just poured them out on paper. I then gave them a wee blessing and popped them in my Goddess Box and offered them up. Then I loaded up my backpack as I knew I needed an adventure, an explore, something to sweep out the cobwebs and help me find the reset button.

Saturday I loaded up Gertie (the car) and grabbed Danu (the dog) picked up a friend and off we went to go explore something new as I was being told there was a shift in the air. We ended up on the Juan de Fuca coastal trail, a glorious old growth trail that runs alongside the rugged west coast of the island. And literally the minute I put my foot on the old growth trail I felt a frisson of energy rush through me and had this knowing sensation that I wouldn’t be the same when I came back out. (That’s not as odd as it sounds). Wending through the trees and scrambling over twisted tree roots whilst navigating huge mud puddles the wind picked up and made the tops of the trees sing and I could feel my energy rise in response. Then the sound of the crashing waves pounding against the rugged rocks melded in and it was as if Nature was singing me the best love song ever!

We came out onto one beach and my breath was literally taken away, the rawness, the ruggedness, the sandstone tidal pools with the crashing waves and the wind! Oh my Goddess I was in heaven. I felt like a wee one scrambling up and down over the rocks, gazing into the deep pools and seeing all the life that was living there. The eagles kept coming out and flying above me calling out to each other as they surfed the wind current. At one point as I went to jump off a large rocky outcrop I realised at the last minute that the landing was slick so I lunged further to avoid falling 8 feet and managed to pull the muscles in my left arse cheek! Sore was the word! But hey, you only live once, and this was an experience I was immersed in.

We went back onto the trail to go further down the coast line and kept popping out on wild, rugged beaches to explore and each time a gorgeous eagle would appear as the wind whipped the ocean up and tugged at my hat. I found a little nook in the rocks on one beach where we were sheltered from the wind and able to peel off some layers and have our picnic, where we were very kindly joined by two large Stellar Jays with their iridescent blue plumage and a mini murder of crows. (Quite delightful but raucous picnic companions!) After lunch it was time for Oomancy! Now if you are shaking your head and saying – ummm, WTF? Let me clarify it – divination with eggs! Yes, I did say that outloud. In Creatrix Circle on Friday we had our Ostara gathering and we prepared our eggs for a wonderful divination ritual, so I had hauled mine all the way out to this rugged coastline.

I found a lovely sandstone slope and divining occurred, it was so cool to do and the absolutely perfect place. After a full day, with an incredibly sore left butt cheek, muddy boots, wind burned cheeks and a full heart it was time to do the long drive home. But oh my Goddess, it had been soooooo worth it. What a glorious way to celebrate Ostara and honour the Goddess in her Maiden form and the energy of rebirth, new growth and expansion.

By the time I got home I realised, the woods had been right. I didn’t feel like the same person at all as the one who first stepped onto the trail early in the morning. I felt lighter, clearer, in a state of grace and acceptance and truly, truly Blessed. So to celebrate this sensation and the glorious Equinox I made a Black Forest Cake and ate half of it! (I left offerings for the faeries as well). The whole day had felt incredibly magickal, cleansing and transformative and I felt very Blessed by the whole experience, even with a super sore arse and needing to sit on a hot water bottle!

Sunday morning found me out early with Danu, in the pouring rain wandering along the beach and through the homeless campers who are in the park. As I pushed through a copse of trees I encountered a chap who was having a super tough time and decided I should listen to him as he screamed and swore about life, the weather, me, the neighbourhood and how everything was fucked up. I listened and when he had calmed enough to hear me he took my offer of support to help him get to the community tent so he could get some hot coffee and a dry coat. As I walked on with Danu I offered up a blessing for him, for anyone in that dire circumstance, for those who’s only home currently is a leaky tent in a public park where they get castigated and shunned. For those who are made to feel less than. For those who are struggling with mental health issues and for myself that I was able to be there and listen to him, as I felt that was an honour.

Now when I use the word Blessing, I’m not talking about the Bible interpretation. It’s more a case of calling in grace, love, something bigger than myself to offer support, and let’s be honest – you can offer up a Blessing for anything. It could be a person who you feel has done you wrong, you can bless those that you see struggling, you can bless a situation, you can bless a meal. It’s the inviting in of something far, far bigger than yourself to enter the space with loving kindness. I find it super powerful, give it a try. What do you have to lose?

As John O’Donohue says: ” May you experience each day as a sacred gift woven around the heart of wonder.”

Okay, this Sunday is the lovely Full Moon in Libra which carries beautiful, high-powered energies for healing, protection, and harmony. A new chapter, a new zodiac wheel has started, and this Full Moon is supporting us to let go of all that we no longer need to carry and to create space for new energies to unfold.

Think about it, when we first started this zodiac cycle back in March of 2020, the world was a different place. We have all changed. We have all evolved and grown. We have all had new experiences that have shaped and moved us, and this Full Moon is our chance to acknowledge and release all that no longer needs to be with us. The Libra energy of this Full Moon also supports us in finding a balance between the old state of what once was and the new state of what could be, and the grace and discernment that is needed to either hold on or let go.

So take some time to consider how you have changed and grown, do you appreciate the Blessings in your life enough and what areas of your life would you like to see more growth (like the Spring seedlings) in?

When I went to the guides to ask who wanted to share this week I laughed as the wonderful Blessing Faeries were most adamant to share their Blessings with you. These glorious ones had come on my Equinox adventure and had gifted me with a Blessing amidst the eagles, crows and jays.

Now if these guides are new to you, please let me introduce them.

Faeries are present in every droplet of water, every blade of grass – they are everywhere there is a trace of nature – thus every field, flower, and forest is theirs. They inhabit the wild rainforests and the old castles; they dance within standing stones and burial mounds; they are on the top of mountains and within the grove deep in the valley; and they appear in the cracks in the pavement and beneath the cities in the old, tangled tree roots. Faeries are part of this world, and they were here before we were born into this world, and they know us better than we know ourselves. For humans, many of us have lost our sense of play, our sense of relationship with nature, our courage to be ourselves – as well as our hope, creativity, and personal power. We have looked outside of ourselves and nature and the sacred ones for answers, and in doing so, we have become quite lost. The blessings of the faeries can bring us back into relationship with ourselves, back into relationship with the elements and the elementals, so that we can become more at home within the world, while creating a personal world which supports our dreams, our wishes, and our purpose.

Yes! Perfect guides for today and this time! As always remember, when you receive a blessing you offer a blessing.

So gorgeous one, breathe, breathe yourself here to this present moment. This is the only moment that matters. As your breath gently slows I invite you to ask the question – what needs to come into balance for me? What area of my life would I like to see more growth in? Do I acknowledge my Blessings? The Faery Gift of Graceful Change and Transfiguration

To you is granted the faery gift of transformation and change. The Faery Gift of Following Your True Heart from The Worthy Rebels of the Unseelie Court

The gift of the Unseelie is the gift of the rebellious one, the one who defies, and who does not “go with the flow”. In faery lore, the Unseelie are sometimes considered dangerous but their blessing is this: you are not born to appease and to concede, to give way always before forces that consume and control. You were born to be free, to decide who you were meant to be for yourself – and the Unseelie’s gift and blessing to you is that reminder. And this means that in this moment, there is something you must say “no” to. Say “no” to the forces that would ask you to do something that you feel is wrong. Say “no ” to going along, to getting along, and stand alone, if you must, in the renegade nature of the Unseelie.

It is a strange gift, a weird blessing, to be sure, but in its way, it is an energy of rebellion and courage and defiance that is not born out of any desire to be unkind. In fact, it is born out of the desire to be kind to your truest self and to create space and room for you to breathe and be free. With this blessing, you will say, “no”, you will take a stand, you will find a new path and be true to yourself. And while you may be called disruptive or difficult, know that these labels are only given when you can no longer be controlled. When the Unseelie bless you in your holy work, know that you are only being true to your own self and walking your own path. Blessings of the Unseelie, those holy rascals, friend.

A BLESSING ON THE HEART’S CALLING

The Faery Gift of Living from the Truest and Most Pure Call of the Heart

For faeries, what the heart wants, in its purest form, is the right thing to desire. But for humans, we have long practice smothering the heart with the voice of reason, most often not our own voice, but the voices of others, of cultures and governments and of groups of people who fear nothing so much as hearing the heart’s deep call. And so, with this gift of the faery comes the gift of hearing again the heart’s deep call and having the courage and commitment to follow it, no matter where it may take us.

The heart’s deep call will never drive us to a destructive relationship or a hurtful scenario. It is not going to sacrifice our spirit to the making of money or the stifling of creativity. The heart’s deep call, the true call, is beyond this, and will only take us in the direction of the dreams we are meant to fulfil this lifetime.

The faeries can now, with this gift, slowly lift the mist that covers the shining heart within you and open you up to that deep listening to your own self, and help you to value the song of the heart that has been signing to you since before you were born. For the faeries have heard the song of your heart, and have wondered at the difference between its call and the life you have lived thus far.

With this gift, your life will move more into accord with the heart, and you will begin to live from that deep, true place – with integrity, with fulfilment, without foolishness or following another, for your own heart will guide you and never ask you to sacrifice yourself to the creation of the dream of another.

Eclipse, Solstice, B.O.W.S, The Great Conjunction and more – Oh My!

Oh my gosh, sooooo much to cover this week and such huge energies coming into play as they layer up on top of each other. Today is a New Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius, we have Solstice next Monday which opens a new gateway and is filled with massive energy, then a Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn where for the first time in 200 years it moves into a new element! Oh yes, and the Book of Winter Solstice is ready and Creatrix doors open for one week! When energies stack up this way, all we can do is be aware and live consciously. So grab a cuppa tea, snuggle down and let’s get exploring.

To help you with really harnessing all this energy and really embodying what these energies are inviting you to do, whilst setting some strong intentions through ritual, magick and knowledge I am pleased to say The Book of Winter Solstice is here! 59 pages of absolute wonderment, so if you had no clue what’s what or how to celebrate it we have you covered! If you think about it, much of what we do now is based on ancient magick and celebration, so it’s important to understand how to work with all of it to create something new. Okay, let’s get on with this wonderful New Moon Eclipse. The New Moon eclipse makes this a super‑powerful week, so be sure to invest some real energy into your New Moon wishes and intentions. If you’ve never done this before, let me suggest the New Moon bowl.

As Forever shares; “ What you think about expands, and this is doubly true under the power of this Eclipse. While we do have to be mindful of our thought processes on this day, it is also important to remember that being true to ourselves is what we should aim for.

We don’t have to be fake positive. We need to stay rooted in our truth, but in a way that encourages expansion. So, for example, instead of focusing on a mistake or trying to pretend it never happened, you instead acknowledge the mistake with kindness and focus on what you can do now to move forward.”

Thus, as you spend some time with this Eclipse really ask yourself what deep in your being is true for you? What would you like to bring more of that is in alignment with your essence? As this Eclipse offers the kind of restructuring that can steer our lives towards a more honest and meaningful direction

Solstice is next Monday (December 21st) and again the energy is very similar. It’s an invitation into the Sacred Unknown. It’s a call to return to the temple of your own heart. The heart home where you are always safe and free. And from this place to be willing to walk into the dark (your dark), play with the shadows and spend some time really releasing attachments and then picking the new pieces that are in alignment with you to weave something new. (Big question I know). In the Book of Winter Solstice (B.O.W.S.) we walk with the why’s, the hows and the deep meaning that this gateway offers you.

Then the Great Conjunction! (I did tell you there are lots of intense energies in the last part of this year lol). As Chani shares:- On December 21st, right after the solstice, Jupiter and Saturn will form what is known as The Great Conjunction, ushering us into a new era. For the first time in a couple hundred years, this conjunction will take place in a new element, and therefore denotes a paradigm shift. Air is the element of the intellect, the social sphere, and communications. The Great Conjunction occurring on the solstice, a moment historically equated with new beginnings, is a far more powerful initiation than the turning of the clock to January 1st, 2021.

Then we end the year with a Full Moon on December 29th!

SOUL SISTERS

You are being emotionally and psychologically influenced by the people around you more than you may realise. Sometimes this is good – they uplift and inspire you and help you feel loved and loving. However, sometimes, you can sense that being truly yourself in a situation could result in unwanted conflict, and you undermine yourself to keep the peace. You’ll find that, the moment you stop doing this, some difficulties you’ve been having in moving forward will fall away, almost as if by magic. The relationships worth holding on to can handle a little more truth, even if feathers get ruffled before being smoothed over with love once more.

Some relationships nourish your soul, whilst others damage it. A nourishing relationship has an effect on your soul, just like nourishing food does on your body – it makes you feel good, increases your energy to live your life and enhances your well being.

Healthy relationships for your soul are those that uplift, inspire and help you become more of yourself with fearlessness. They do not drag your spirit down into anxiety and confusion. Some people may love you, but just not know how to be in a relationship with you that is healthy for your soul. With such people, you will either need to show them how to be in your life in a soul-loving way or take extra special care of yourself when you are around them.

Sometimes, this will not be enough to protect you from the negative influence of the relationship, and you will need to walk away. This can be sad, yet it also creates space for your soulmates to enter your life. These are the people with whom you share a deep and real connection. You love each other in a way that frees you to be yourselves. We attract new soulmates into our world by being good to ourselves. Be your own best friend, first. Require respect in your relationships. Then you will find it easy to recognise the people who genuinely love you and invite them into your heart.

ROCKSTAR

You may have a subconscious fear of being judged or becoming the target of jealousy that causes you to shy away from the limelight. You may mistakenly believe that being in the spotlight means you are supposed to be perfect or better than everyone else. There is a higher purpose in standing apart from the crowd and being seen. Choose to accept the opportunities that make you more visible to others, trusting that you will shine your truth and integrity to make it a positive and healing experience for yourself and for others too.

There’s a light in you that wants and needs to be seen,a side of you that is bold, bright and unique. Even if it’s something different for you, or you aren’t sure how comfortable you are going to be on centre stage, sometimes there’s a higher purpose for you being placed in the spotlight.

One purpose can be to develop self-acceptance and self-confidence. Then you can rock your true self without having to tone it down, play it safe or rein it in. You can become so comfortable in your own skin that you no longer hide your inner divine beauty.

Maybe others will then become less afraid to be themselves because you have shown them that being cool is about being cool with who you are, refusing to be stereotyped by people with insufficient imagination. There’s power in the freedom of not fitting in. You rather than someone else, get to decide how you want to live your life. Relish it: be creative with it. You are meant to be free to express yourself authentically and to be seen doing it. So claim your inner rockstar and strut your soul stuff in this world.

BEAUTIFUL BANDIT

You can choose right now to feel good about yourself. If you’ve been beating yourself up, stop it now. Don’t let anyone else decide how you should feel about yourself. Taking responsibility for your actions means that when you have done something that you feel is out of integrity, you do something about it that is constructive and useful. Smaning yourself with judgement, or allowing another to steal your self-esteem, is neither of those things.

The Divine Mother is telling you to forgive yourself and use your energy not to live the best life that you can. It’s time to take your life back.

You are one tough sweetheart, a spiritual gangster,a beautiful bandit, stealing back from the unworthy that which rightfully belongs with you. You have certain spiritual rights that cannot be denied you. Your dignity, power and grace, your sense of beauty and self-esteem, your chosen belief systems, your energy and your right to take up space in this world rightfully belong to your soul. Your faith in your spiritual connection with the Universe and your sense of your life purpose belong to your soul, too. So do your joy, your laughter and your enjoyment of life, your belief in your own purity of heart and the goodness of your own being. Your right to love yourself is owned by your soul, too.

Even when you make mistakes, the great Mother loves and forgives you, knowing that you are doing your best and are her precious one. You have a spiritual right to be free from torment, cruelty and mental anguish. You alone own the right to choose your thoughts and claim your freedom to make your own choices. You are fierce with wisdom.

Anything that you feel has been taken from you unfairly shall be taken back by you. Claim what is yours by spiritual right.
