Can you feel it?

There is a crackle in the air. A hum under the surface. That sense that something is shifting — not in a dramatic crash-and-bang way — but in a quiet, inevitable of course this is happening way.

2026 is not arriving politely. It is walking in through a Ring of Fire.

On February 17th we have the Aquarius Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse — and honestly? If ever there was a cosmic moment that whispered (and maybe shouted), expect the unexpected, this is it.

And as if that wasn’t enough, we enter the Year of the Yang Fire Horse on the very same day. Fire upon fire.

Oh my giddy aunt.

The Ring of Fire: A Doorway, Not a Disaster

A Ring of Fire Eclipse leaves that luminous halo of light around the shadow. The Sun is partially veiled, but not extinguished. There is illumination in the darkness.

And that feels important.

This Eclipse begins a new Aquarius–Leo cycle that will unfold over the next 18 months. If you think back to 2017–2019, you may see echoes. Themes revisiting. But you are not the same woman. Not the same soul.

You’ve shed. You’ve survived. You’ve grown teeth where you once had tremble.

Uranus — planet of awakening and plot twists — is active here. So yes, there may be surprises. Sudden clarity. Doors closing abruptly so others can open.

But this doesn’t feel chaotic to me.

It feels catalytic.

Like the first stone being placed on a path that hasn’t fully formed yet. You can sense it. You don’t yet see the whole road. But something has begun.

The Softness Inside the Flame

What I love about this particular Eclipse is that woven through the fire is healing.

There is a gentle current asking us to slow down. To go outside. To place our hands on the earth. To listen to our dreams. To tend to our bodies like they matter — because they do.

Nature holds medicine this year. Your intuition holds medicine this year.

Ask yourself:

What truly replenishes me?
Where am I exhausted?
Where am I burning too hot?
Where am I barely glowing at all?

Healing may not come in grand gestures. It may arrive in a walk. In a conversation. In finally honoring what your body has been whispering for months.

Now let’s talk about the Fire Horse.

Bold. Bright. Fast-moving.

Yang energy is external. It shows up in the world. It doesn’t sit quietly journaling about what might happen. It moves.

This is not a year of stagnation.

If you’ve been waiting for the perfect sign, the perfect moment, the perfect alignment?

Adventure doesn’t always mean hopping on a plane. Sometimes it’s sending the email. Joining the group. Hosting the gathering. Having the honest conversation.

Tiny brave acts. Repeated.

Setting Intentions Under the Eclipse

Solar Eclipses are like supercharged New Moons — but this one asks for open palms.

Instead of rigid goals, try:

“Guide me toward what is aligned.”
“Strengthen me for what is emerging.”
“Help me recognize the door when it opens.”

Sometimes the most powerful intention is simply willingness.

Willingness to grow.
Willingness to release.
Willingness to act.

OUR LADY OF RIPENING ON THE VINE

“I ask you to surrender your future thinking to me. Although your future contains the promise of great blessings, do not let this distract you from the blessing I bestow upon you in this moment. I ask you to open your arms to my blessings in the here and now. You are the sweet fruit, heavy on the vine. The time for harvest has come. This is your time.”

Many of us who love the Holy Mother are dreamers. We might be practical and hard-working, attending to the details of daily life and spiritual consciousness, but we have hope in our hearts.

Yet that hope may be for the future – our future, that of our children, of our planet.

This hope is a precious light that is needed in the world. Yet our light of hope is also needed in the here and now.

We need to be living the Divine now, not only dreaming of a more divinely aligned life in a fantasy of the future.

Live your light now; to benefit yourself and the world with your presence. Now. Yes, we are always growing, yet there is a readiness within you now.

There is something within you, something of you, that is ready. Even if the immediate reality doesn’t match a fantasy that you have once held about how life would be when you would finally share more of yourself with the world, you are still ready and this is your time to shine.

The Mother asks you to honour the light that is ignited within you now, and to act upon it with utter faith. The dreamers are needed in this present moment, you see.

We can help the sacred becoming, the healing of the world according to the Divine Mother’s grace, by how we choose to be at this time.

Now is the time to trust. There is so much waiting for you in this moment.

Gather your harvest. Let your divine inheritance come to you now, as naturally as fruit ripening on the vine.

You are needed.

OUR LADY OF THE RESURRECTION

“The eternal light dwells in my heart and as you enter into my heart, held safe in my love for you, that light becomes visible to you. It will show you the way through any darkness, and help you understand the purpose of past suffering, so that you can let it go and be at peace, free from confusion, shame or doubt. There is divine purpose within all that is. You have been struggling and now it is time for rest. Step into the light of my heart now, beloved, and let the darkness go. The time is drawing near for your resurrection and release.”

It is a strange paradox that when we are truly open to life, we must be prepared to die many deaths before it is time for our physical life to end.

We might suffer the deaths of relationships, of ideals, of identities, even of certain hopes and dreams. If we can mourn these deaths, give them proper attention and due acknowledgment, grieving in whatever way is respectful and truthful, then those deaths become sacred sacrifices on the altar of new life.

If we try to rush past these many deaths, pushing them to one side out of fear that they may mean something terrible or frightening, then we will suffer more than needs be.

Perhaps we become fearful if we feel that we are not in control of life and cannot prevent its powerful unfolding, because we do not trust where life is leading us. Then too, we miss our chance to make a sacrifice and feel more connected with life, and with death as a natural part of life.

We don’t need to be scared, we can accept that they are signs that we are growing and life is flowing. We can even use them to gain confidence that a new direction, a new life, is calling us. There is always so much more to come. Always. No matter how old we may be, or how jaded we may feel at times, there is always boundless life awaiting us. All that is needed is a willingness for us to be open to receiving it.

Let Our Lady of Resurrection lift you up from even the deepest sorrow and gently urge you into new light, new understanding, and new life.

Take heed, beloved, your time of darkness is swiftly drawing to a close and a new day is soon to be upon you.

Breathe, trust, embrace.

OUR LADY OF THE ROSE CROWN

“You are my child and a royal divine being. I protect your spiritual deeping now, as you descend further into the living divine heart, and know all to be love. No matter where we think we are on our spiritual path, there is always somewhere, and something deeper to experience.

You are about to enter into another level of spiritual experience. This new level will be appropriate and healing for you – taking you naturally along in your spiritual progress.

What might be suitable for another is unlikely to be exactly right for you. Our Lady watches over you with all knowing tenderness and fierce protection. Only what you need, will come to you.

In order to be prepared, we might have to be challenged in a relationship that really stretches or breaks our heart. In that situation we are learning to love more unconditionally, to either let the relationship go or stay with it, depending on what is right for us.

We might experience weeks, months or even years of not really knowing, with any certainty, if we are on the right path or living the life we are supposed to be living. In that continued crisis, we are learning how to remain present, to remain open and to learn to trust, even in the absence of clarity.

Or perhaps everything in our life seems to be upside down; a loved one is struggling, or our own inability to resolve an issue that has troubled us deeply for some time, and is causing us to feel almost unbearable anguish.

No matter what the crisis or challenge, the way that we learned to respond and grow through it provided us with the development that we needed to be able to sustain the next level of divine experience.

Love is the most powerful force in our universe. It is in everything and reveals itself in unlimited ways.

To encounter this love, to be open to it, ready to receive it and be changed, illuminated, irradiated by it.

Our Lady of the Rose Crown comes to tell you that you have been in preparation and now the time is fast approaching, or is already upon you, whereby you are opening to more divine realisation. No matter what you may initially think, what you are being shown right now is more of the divine in its mysterious, creative, funny and unfathomable genius.

You truly are a magnificent royal child of the Divine. Own it!

Canadian Thanksgiving, Friday the 13th, Libra New Moon Eclipse! I love October!

Happy Magnificent, Magickal, Marvellous, Magnetic, Merry, Mystical, Manifesting Monday!!

Here in Canada it is our Thanksgiving weekend. I hadn’t planned to do a reading this weekend, but I was given a firm nudge from my guides, so here we are!

So let’s go explore Thanksgiving, Friday the 13th and the Libra Moon Eclipse!

Thanksgiving is a glorious time for me filled with amazing memories, great food, great friends and family and it really brings to the forefront to remember all the things to be grateful for and to celebrate life!

I personally had an amazing weekend. I went on a full day jaunt to a wee little island called Saturna, which I had never been to. Why? I had been asked to marry a wonderful couple, and we had co-created such an amazing ceremony together, their vows were said over a huge pile of rose quartz. It was magickal! And as it takes a while to get there and get back (ferries) I had the opportunity to fit in some lovely hiking and exploring with a friend and the doggos.

Which in turn meant I wasn’t feeling impelled to cook a massive Thanksgiving dinner the next day and voila! One of my boys offered to do the whole thing and host the whole fam damily, so it worked out perfectly. And the food was fabulous!

So Friday the 13th in October – yes please!

It makes me laugh how Friday the 13th gets such a bad rap. That it is a bad luck day, that awful things will happen and all the rest of that bullshit!

If we research why it got such a bad rap, it most likely comes from the Christian Tradition as at the Last Supper there was Jesus and 12 apostles (thus 13), Judas—a person who is said to have betrayed Jesus—was the 13th guest at the Last Supper. Also in the Bible, many unfortunate things happened on Fridays.

However, I suggest we take it back to its original meaning!

Friday the 13th is associated with various aspects of the feminine, including goddesses and the moon.

Before patriarchal times, Friday the 13th was considered the day of the Goddess, a day to worship the Divine Feminine. This association highlights the reverence for feminine energies and principles.

The 13th day often falls in the middle of the moon cycle, representing the midway point between death and rebirth. It’s a time associated with transition and change, echoing the cyclical nature of the moon.

Friday is named after Freya, a goddess, and is symbolically connected to Venus, epitomising feminine energy. This energy is believed to be particularly strong on Fridays, including Friday the 13th.

There are 13 phases of the moon in a year, which symbolise the divine feminine. This concept is not only present in astrology but has historical significance as well.

In summary, Friday the 13th has deep connections to goddesses, the moon, and the celebration of feminine energy, representing a day that embraces the Divine Feminine and its cycles.

See where I’m going with this?

The day after Friday the 13th we have the glorious Libra New Moon Solar Eclipse!

The Libra New Moon Solar Eclipse falls on October 14, and is the second Eclipse in the Aries-Libra cycle that we will be working with over the coming years.

As this Eclipse cycle is relatively new, many seeds are still being planted. We may not be able to wrap our heads around exactly the journey this Eclipse cycle will take us on, and it may feel harder to see the bigger picture.

On a collective scale, the Aries-Libra Eclipse cycle is triggering our connections, intimacy, relationships, and how we choose to show up in them. It is also working on our feelings of inner strength and confidence, reminding us that we each possess what is necessary to lead the best life possible.

On a New Moon, energy is drawn within, and we are guided to connect with our deeper truth. What is really important to us? What do we desire? How are we feeling?

By connecting with our inner world, we can unlock a new level of understanding, not just about who we are, but where we are going. We may feel new ideas bubbling or start to gain a sense of what we wish to put out into the world.

New Moons are fantastic times to set intentions, but under a New Moon Solar Eclipse, the energies are a lot stronger. With these strong energies, we can indeed set some very, very powerful intentions. What we put out into the Universe will be magnified and strong. However, as the Eclipse energies are so powerful, there is actually more magic to be found in the surrender.

This means that rather than controlling the narrative, we surrender to the Universe. We allow ourselves to flow, trusting that whatever comes our way will be exactly what we need for our current state of consciousness.

Okay, let’s crack on with the reading. When I asked the decks who wanted to show up this week I laughed my soxs off when I saw it was The Divine Circus Oracle.

“What is life if not a Divine Circus? Life might seem ordinary at times, yet when we look more closely, it is bursting with creative diversity, constantly evolving, pulling rugs out from underneath our feet (usually just at the moment we think we have everything under control) and opening doors we couldn’t even see were right there before us moments earlier. Life is magical, thrilling, sometimes strange and even scary. It can inspire you and touch your soul, inviting you to discover the unique magic within you, to dare to live it, to express it, to play with possibilities and embrace what sets you apart from the crowd. “

Thus, I invite you to breathe and just BE with your gorgeous self here at this moment. Take a few lovely, rich, nourishing breaths and let the cares of the moment slide off like wee little raindrops. Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that call to you.

DARK HARLEQUIN

Bells are ringing from deep inside. Something that once had to hide is seeking your attention. It wants out! It wants to be free! As you release what was once shut away, your discomfort shall turn to glee.

You are a spiritual adventurer! You are not afraid to go to the edge of what you know, of who you have believed yourself to be. Even when before you there lies the darkness of unknown worlds, of undiscovered parts of you, even when you feel uncertainty, discomfort or doubt, you are still willing to figure out what it’s all about,

So you’ve come to a place in you, and in your life, where you don’t know. You don’t know what’s happening. You don’t know how to work through it. You don’t know who you are (well, not all of who you are). You don’t know what you don’t know. You are at the point of not knowing because you are growing. There will be surprises. There will be discoveries. You’ll feel awkward at times, like you are trying to see in the dark.

Don’t be afraid to let there be some inner rattling and rampaging. You are at a time when you are naturally diving into the darkness for a healing purpose. So ask the difficult questions. Do things you wouldn’t normally do. Experiment with thinking in ways you wouldn’t normally think.

Be willing to let everything change for the better by first letting go of how things are now. The messier your inner world seems to be right now, the more you can expect complete and utter transformation as a new order comes into form. Expect the unexpected, for you were born to grow into what is happening now.

It’s time to let the wild thing out!

THE PROUD PIERETTE

If you were proud of who you are and everything you have learned in your life, free from shame, guilt or judgement, what would you choose for yourself today? The choices you make for yourself from a place of feeling good are going to be more loving and helpful than anything from a place of self-judgement.

You’ve nothing to regret, you’ve learned a lot and you are a beautiful unique being on a wild divine journey. Be kind to yourself. Keep your head up! Then it will be easier to keep growing and glowing.

Dear wild one, have you felt like you’ve lost your footing? Got a bit clumsy? Made a mistake? Have you been second-guessing your choices? Don’t you dare doubt you! Be proud of all you’ve done and how far you’ve come. Never be ashamed of who you are, or the journey you’ve taken.

If you feel that life is getting you down, or you should have, or could have, made different decisions in life – be reassured, you are doing a great job! You are meant to have learning experiences. What matters is that you choose to learn. And you do! In your own time and your own way, you make sense of things, and you grow wiser and stronger as a person.

If you feel any ridicule, judgement or shaming is coming from those around you – trust you are stronger and wilder and more beautiful and true than any of that mean-spirited fearfulness. Let the mud that is being slung slide right off or remain stuck in the hands of those throwing it your way. Keep your sense of inner dignity intact. Never make yourself smaller to placate the fear in another’s heart. Take pride in who you are.

Be proud to be you! And know that this is a way to respect and honour the creative loving power of the universe that created you!

You’ve voiced your intent, setting in motion a natural creative process. What you want has been summoned forth and is now headed your way. Don’t hesitate, refuse to receive, or pass this gift on to another. It is meant for you. Grab it! Within this new opportunity is exactly what you have been waiting for….what you have been wanting to create, what truly makes your heart sing.

What is rightfully yours is – or very soon will be – right in front of you. Caught up in a spiralling wave of new beginnings, it is time to reach out and grab what is headed your way. New Moon Solar Eclipse, Hope and a Candle Ritual.

Happy Marvelous, Magnificent, Magnanimous, Magickal, Mysterious, Manifesting, Miraculous Monday! How are you delicious lovely? Are you keeping your sense of balance as the holiday season ramps up with fervour and a tad of franticness?

We have lots to natter about this week, so grab a cuppa as we go explore this potent New Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius that happens on Saturday, a New Moon Total Solar Eclipse is one of the most powerful Eclipses we can experience and why we should turn out thoughts towards Hope.

As Forever shares:- “Let’s take a trip down memory lane, all the way back to May 2020. What growth have you achieved since this time? How has your life changed?

Since May 2020, we have been working our way through the Sagittarius-Gemini Eclipse cycle, but this cycle is now coming to an end and will wrap up on December 3/4, with a final New Moon Total Solar Eclipse.

Reaching the endpoint in an Eclipse cycle is a significant moment. It represents arriving at a new destination. It is a point in our lives where something or some part of us is fully reborn and fully integrated, and ready to play an active part in our lives.

So much has unfolded in the world since May of 2020. On a collective level, there was a grieving experience that unfolded as we were all forced to change our way of living. Events were canceled, holidays were postponed, jobs were lost. And it is perhaps only now that we are starting to see just how this chain reaction of events has led us to where we stand today.

Of course, while this energy was experienced on a collective level, we also have our own personal stories too and leading up to this Total Solar Eclipse, we may now start to see a pattern in how we were being guided and where we were being asked by the Universe to level up in our lives.

Eclipses represent portals into new states of consciousness. They tend to bring events that shift and transform our lives, allowing us to step into a new chapter of our soul’s evolution.

This New Moon Total Solar Eclipse falls in Sagittarius and is like the last step on this journey we have been traveling. It opens the final door on this path and can bring the rewards of our hard work. Whatever this Eclipse cycle has triggered in us, however we have been asked to grow and change, we will now start to see the end of the journey.

A new clarity will emerge, and with that new clarity, it will feel like we are opening to a new chapter.

There is no doubt that New Moon Eclipses are powerful times of manifestation and can activate whatever we have been sowing. Under their presence, energy is drawn towards us, allowing our energy field to become a magnet to whatever needs to come our way.

While this Solar Eclipse is bringing the culmination of all our energies since this Eclipse cycle began, we can also use it to set an intention about what we wish to attract. We can use its energy in a deliberate way to draw in all that we wish to experience.

So with this potent energy available to you, let’s explore Hope.

Now you may be thinking to yourself – ummm, errr, Jen why are we talking about Hope?

Yesterday was the first Sunday (or candle of Advent). Advent includes the four Sundays prior to Christmas, and is a time of inner searching, introspection and anticipation.

It is through the darkness of the Earth we await the birth of a new inner light to warm our hearts and strengthen our thoughts and deeds. Advent is a journey inward to the soul, where we become aware of the eternal light that lightens our way.

It is also so beautifully entwined in the northern hemisphere with the Winter Solstice and the return of the Sun, and in the southern hemisphere with Summer– celebrating the Sun.

For those celebrating the Advent festival, and to all spiritual beliefs and traditions, this time of year has something special for everyone – the Season of Light on so many levels.

As we turn inwards with the energy of the season and walk into the darkness, It is a time of seeking and keeping that light aglow and sharing the light.

The delicious piece here is that as you step into the darkness to release, there is a place for Hope.

Now I will be honest, the word “Hope” has never been one of my favourite words as I find it is used far too much i.e. – I hope the kids do their chores, I hope I win the lottery, I hope the cat doesn’t cough a hairball on the clean laundry………. So the word Hope always felt a bit banal to me, thus, I went exploring and reading and have to say I really like this definition, it is one I can get behind:-

“Hope is a feeling of trust, a security, and a reason to keep going. It is a passionate desire of our heart. It is a feeling of expectation and a longing for a certain thing to happen.” – Verity Russell

So let me ask – What do you Hope for?

When my kids were small they went to Waldorf for their wee years and in Waldorf education, each week of Advent is assigned a “theme” of sorts and is a time for reflection and gratitude towards the different realms of our earth: stones & minerals; plants; animal kingdom; and humankind.

Over the last few weeks I have been making candles galore, filled with essential oils, dried flowers, crystals and magick. Thus, over the weekend, I gathered ivy and cedar and made a wreath that sits on my dining room table with five of the lovely candles that I have made.

As I lit the first one I breathed in Hope, and also honoured the stones and the bones by decorating around that candle with seashells, crystals and beach stones.

As the first verse says – The first light of Advent is the light of stone–. Light that lives in crystals, seashells, and bones.

Doing this reminds me we are all connected and we have lots to be grateful for (even on those dark days).

So an invitation for you to deepen into this practice over the next month is a simple candle ritual. And if you are part of The Creatrix Circle, you will know that ritual is an intention made manifest. A ritual takes an idea, thought or emotions and gives it physical form in the world.

A ritual allows your body, your cells to understand your intention..

Get 4 or 5 candles. You can make a wreath, or place them on your mantelpiece or wherever resonates for you. Then put some lovely crystals, stones or shells by the first one – the candle of Hope. Then every evening this week light the first candle and as it burns breathe in Hope, turn your mind, heart and soul over to Hope. And let that gentle energy dance in your body as the flame dances on the candle. Yes?

Now enough chuntering from me, let’s crack on with the reading. When I went to the cards to ask who would like to be present this week it made my heart smile to see who showed up. The amazing Faery Blessing guides were most adamant. As after all, who doesn’t need a Blessing?

Now if these guides are new to you, please let me introduce them as it would be rude not to.

Faeries are present in every droplet of water, every blade of grass – they are everywhere there is a trace of nature – thus every field, flower, and forest is theirs. They inhabit the wild rainforests and the old castles; they dance within standing stones and burial mounds; they are on the top of mountains and within the grove deep in the valley; and they appear in the cracks in the pavement and beneath the cities in the old, tangled tree roots. Faeries are part of this world, and they were here before we were born into this world, and they know us better than we know ourselves.

For humans, many of us have lost our sense of play, our sense of relationship with nature, our courage to be ourselves – as well as our hope, creativity, and personal power. We have looked outside of ourselves and nature and the sacred ones for answers, and in doing so, we have become quite lost. The blessings of the faeries can bring us back into relationship with ourselves, back into relationship with the elements and the elementals, so that we can become more at home within the world, while creating a personal world which supports our dreams, our wishes, and our purpose.

So gorgeous one take a breath. Just a normal breath and then as you carry on breathing allow it to slow down. Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth. Allow in your mind’s eye a gorgeous rainbow swirl to form, this pattern is made Hope. That deep trust and knowing. As you breathe just let it swirl, you don’t have to control it.

A BLESSING OF GLAMOUR

The Blessing of faery glamour is the gift of being able to change and appear a little different than how we feel to be. For some people, this could seem a ruse or manipulation. In truth, though, it is the ability to draw deeply from within us to find the strength to become what we need to be. You are now gifted the blessing of faery glamour, and you will find you can draw confidence from deep within you in challenging circumstances.

The faeries will lend you some of their energy, too, so you can feel brave within an intimidating situation – overcome nerves that might prevent you from doing something you would otherwise enjoy, find the strength to confront what must be confronted, or head to a meeting with confidence.

Faery glamour is also the ability to physically change. So to others you may now seem a little taller, and you will have greater belief in your own presence, now, too, to know that you draw your energy up from within and have influence by showing all of what you can be.

Let the mantle of the blessing of glamour now fall about you, to help you feel and be powerful, even when exhausted; to feel attractive, despite societal conditioning and criticism; to speak your truth, when you feel afraid of what the truth’s reception will be.

May you be invisible when you do not wish to be seen and be seen when you wish to have presence. You now have the gift of glamour, and you can use it to call upon your own faery blood to arise and be of assistance to you when the travails of the human world can seem a burden.

Draw up the glamour from within and assert a boundary, repel a predator, create an impression, and believe in yourself once again.

A BLESSING OF NWYFRE

The Faery now offer you the gift of Nwyfre, the blessing of healthy energy, clear and revitalising, which will manifest in a kind of flow all about you, radiating from within. This primal force of energy, Nwyfre, will give you more energy to move well, to be of good cheer, to do what needs to be done, and to do what you wish to do.

With this faery blessing comes a sense of being here, of being grounded and centred, of strength and a thriving energy, of feeling strong and well, connected and supported. You will feel the urge to spend time outdoors, within natural light – with the trees, or with the animals, or the ocean or bodies of water. All of these sources of natural life force will feel more connected to you than before, almost as if the world is speaking with you and you can speak to the world in return.

A BLESSING OF THE SEELIE

A gift from the Seelie Court is yours. The Seelie Court is a place where you are treated with courtesy and honour, respect and grace. To be blessed by the Seelie is to have kindness enter your life. This blessing from the Seelie Court acknowledges the courtesy and respect you have extended to others, and the kindnesses you have done, again and again, without thought for what you would receive in return.

The Seelie have been observing your goodness, and due to this goodness, you are now receiving a reward. You will find consideration and empathy, understanding and rewards, when this blessing comes to you. There could be a small windfall, a little extra of everything – so that, suddenly, it seems like the Universe is supporting you, and that what once was a struggle becomes easier.

First Monday of August, the Energy has Shifted and another Eclipse on the Way!

Happy Magnificent, Magickal Marvelous First Monday of August! Here in BC it is a lovely Civic Holiday so a day when lots of people have been enjoying a delicious, lovely long hawt, hawt weekend. I personally spent yesterday going up and down a ladder 256 times in the day in 40C weather, (have to say my left arse cheek was exceptionally sore by the end of it all lol). Why? I spent yesterday putting up rafters and huge sheets of plywood on the roof of the large workshop/shed I’ve been building as I want it finished! (I get a tad myopic on projects some times).

So at the beginning of the month we always talk about the “energy” of the month, why? The energy of the month is what flows and weaves through each day, then layered on top of that or woven into it are the energies of the seasons, the celebrations, the eclipses and of course the New and Full Moon.

If you remember, July was all about “Mature Responsibility in Unpredictable Times”, June was about “Discipline and Follow Through”. Well August is all about “Creative Pragmatism” what does that mean?

As Lena shares – “August is a complex month supporting you to think outside the box. We have an opportunity for new creative insights, help from unexpected sources, and a new determination to step forward and show up with choices that are mature and practical. Your experience this month will be much more positive if you keep your eyes on your own goals, stay in your own lane, and don’t get distracted by the accidents and drama you may see around you on the side of the road. The questions to ask yourself over and over again this month are, “Is it creative enough, or is it the same old way of thinking?” “Is it practical and grounded?” “Am I staying in my own lane, or am I getting sucked into a drama that is not mine?” “Am I keeping good boundaries? Floating over this monthly energy is the upcoming Partial Solar Eclipse on Saturday August 11th, this is the 3rd one in a month! (How are you doing with it all?) Remember, that eclipse time is about bringing things to light and we have had a lot brought to light, however, with it being a solar eclipse this is more internal, this is deep and waiting to be brought out to the light. Please remember with 3 eclipses in a row “Ready or not, the winds of change are blowing. Eclipses bring the unexpected, forcing us into action. Repeat after me: Change can be a good thing.”

So a note here – for those who are part of our amazing community there will be an email coming out to you on Friday with great information on how to really harness and relax into this big energy shift (oh yes and stay relatively sane lol). Also, as so many of you have asked for readings with all this “stuff” swirling around and you want to gain more clarity and direction, I want to make this easy and accessible for everyone. Okay, so let’s crack on with the reading. I took the time to sit outside today to write and do the reading and it was gorgeous. The sun was shining, the plethora of sunflowers that the birds seeded, were all bobbing their glorious heads and tracking the sun. I had a huge crow and her two large babies come and land on my table and cock their heads and watch me for a few minutes and the humming birds and bees buzzed around frantically through the various flowers gathering the pollen. It was positively the most perfect place to be at that moment in time.

When I asked the cards and crystals who wanted to come out and shine brightly I laughed with delight when The Divine Circus Oracle sauntered her way out of the decks, strutting her stuff and giggling. Of course, in this eclipse energy and the Fire energy of Early Summer life becomes a Circus. If you have never encountered this gorgeous deck, please, let me introduce you. “This deck is for those who find it hard to follow rules, conform, bend to authority and generally do what they are told. May your rebel heart always be bold. May your spirit always be free. May you remember to live the Divine Circus and have fun doing things the way you aren’t supposed to, whilst living your most creative and unique divine destiny. “

Then it was fascinating to watch which crystals stepped up and for the first time EVER all three are Amethyst, all in different forms. Hmmm. Why? Amethyst is a wonderful crystal of protection, prosperity and for helping you manage your emotions so that you can take right action. Well that actually sounds perfect! There is also a glorious Selenite wand for amplification. Oh yes! And the flowers, there was a bit of a conversation going on between the flowers and the herbs, so they reached a compromise. Hummingbird flowers came to join along with lemon balm (which has been eaten, nom!)

I also crafted a fun guided visualisation based on sunflowers (which make me smile), if you feel so inclined, to help you really get rooted and reach for the sun. If that doesn’t resonate for you just breathe into your body, give everything a wiggle and slow your breath down and invite your trusted wise self to have a moment to surface and ask what it is you need to know.

The Universe has a sense of humour, but never at your expense. It is laughing with you, not t you. You’ll see this for yourself as the Joker weaves her magic in your life, bringing you the grace that is beyond all reason, the necessary ingredient to ensure you win with the hand you have been dealt by life. Deep within, you know what is true and what to do (or not do). Yet there is so much noise and distraction in the world, and even at times in our own minds, that listening for our inner wisdom can seem like trying to hear gentle birdsong in the midst of a rock concert. Even so, you are hearing an inner truth, and deep down, you know it. Can you trust that it is safe to not only hear your inner voice but act on it too?

There is something that you know. You’ve felt, sensed, heard or realised this truth more than once. Even if others see or feel differently, you just know what you know, even if you don’t quite know how you know it!

Give your truths value. Hold your feelings and insights in high enough esteem to pay attention to them, to give yourself time to process what you think, feel and sense. Know that they’re worth acting on, even if that action just means to trust more and stop worrying. If you cannot figure out what your inner truths are, or you feel confused by conflicting thoughts and feelings, torn between head and heart, then you are in a state of information overload. You need to switch off, discharge some excess mental and emotional energy and take a break. Give yourself some time out from the crazy noise and constant distractions of the world so you can get in touch with what is true for you.

Eclipses bring the unexpected, forcing us into action. Change can be a good thing.”

So I do feel compelled that I should clear something up. A while ago I had a reader email me asking “if I sifted through a deck, picked the cards I thought might work and then wrote to the cards, subbing in what needed to to make it all aligned.” Good question, however, to be honest I was appalled and gob smacked!

That would never even occur to me to do. So I shared with this lovely humanoid my process – I start writing the preface whilst surrounded by all of my decks and crystals and then decks and crystals make themselves known. I then smudge everything, get very grounded – open myself up to Spirit and become a conduit and the reading happens. The reason I share this story, is please don’t ever doubt yourself, your gifts or the messages (however they come to you). With this glorious sun energy, fire energy (remember that is about Passion) and all the rest of it. Step up, don’t doubt and shine gorgeous one. Shine. New Moon, Solar Eclipse and Mercury Retrograde – Wow! Weekly Reading August 21st.

Happy glorious Monday delicious one! How have you been? How has your week been? Have you felt at all tweaked by the eclipse energy? This last week I most certainly was – there was that sensation of not being comfie in my own body, anxiety and restless sleep, have to say it wasn’t pleasant to say the least! Thankfully there was the great outdoors, projects galore (I gutted, revamped, drywalled, painted and redid a room – I call it therapy).

So we had a solar eclipse today on this glorious New Moon and it is also the second New Moon in Leo in a row as well as Mercury Retrograde (that could explain a lot of bumps and lumps this week, yes?). Were you able to experience/watch the eclipse? It was incredible and certainly conjured up mixed emotions and made the hair on the back of my neck stand up! With this being the second New Moon in Leo I think the Universe is giving you and me a very clear and strong message – this is the time for transformation, showing up and standing tall and being the biggest brightest version of yourself. Are you paying attention? All of these things are so needed now more than ever, take a look around the world, it’s time to show up, stand up, and shine. You may think people don’t need your energy, but you are so wrong and we are being given a beautiful reminder with this second Leo New Moon and the double eclipse that has invited us to deal with that steamer trunk we have been dragging around of old shit, limiting stuff and blaugh. Unpack that trunk and share yourself and your gifts!

With all that being said the deck that jumped up to the forefront to come play for this reading was “Sacred Rebels” which I think is appropriate at this time. As this deck is dedicated to “those who aren’t afraid to rattle cages, ruffle feathers and rock boats, from a place of loving service to the spiritual evolution of humanity.” Hence, we are working with them. The dwarf sunflower’s wanted to be included so they were (and then they got popped into a lovely drink of water), and Selenite as the amplifier of all the energy that is here. The most appropriate place to do this reading was on the rocks as every single rock is a crystal of some form or another. So shall we begin?

Breathe gorgeous one. Not from the upper chest breathe, but from the belly. Breathe long and deep in through your nose and sigh it out your mouth. Breathe in so much air that you can feel the corners of your belly expand and then sigh it out so you can feel your lungs contract and your belly withdraw to your spine. Repeat. Breathe. Just take a moment and breathe. Feel your jaw relax, your scalp relax and the rest of you relax as it follows your breathe. When you are ready pick the card or cards that resonate for you, that want to come work with you this week, that want to share their message and wrap you in a blankie or take you on adventure.

EVERY JOURNEY STARTS WITH A SINGLE STEP

You are on a journey. Yes, it is an internal journey but there is also a physical expression of this journey that is going to become increasingly important to the fulfilment of your destiny in this lifetime. Your journey has started on the inside but its destination will be the physical expression of an internal healing. This journey will draw upon what you have learned and mastered over the course of your life – so much so, that you may feel as though your life experiences have prepared you just for this particular adventure.

You have all that you need within you. This is not a time to worry about what you are going to take with you. From within your heart, you will sense what needs to come along for the ride and what is best left behind you now. You may be surprised at exactly how much can be left behind without you feeling concerned or anxious. You will be able to travel far lighter than you ever imagined possible. To be best equipped for this journey, you will need a lightness of heart and the realisation that change can be an incredible blessing, even if what you are leaving behind is something you found secure, safe, familiar or comforting. Just as the butterfly leaves the chrysalis behind when it is time to spread its newly formed wings, so too are you ready to leave behind what once was and embrace what is more appropriate for you at this time.

The apparently small steps you are taking in an area of your life, important to you right now, are actually far more powerful and constructive than you realise. Sometimes we are gaining ground but the effect is not immediately obvious. This doesn’t mean that nothing is happening. It simply means that the effects of your actions are cumulative and soon they will begin to overflow into the physical world with a positive impact that my surprise you. Your inner and outer journeys are blessed with positive energy and all you need to do is keep going – one step at a time.

DEFEND TO THE END THE WORTHWHILE

Beneath the lies and illusions, pretty as they seem, you know what is worthwhile. All that is genuinely and truly essential for the heart to throb with life is worthwhile. Anything that dulls it or suffocates its vibrant aliveness, must be questioned, challenged, and more than likely cast aside, for the heart is our key to living an authentic life.

You are a sacred warrior – a defender of the heart. You have cried genuine tears of your own grief and also the grief of the world. You have felt the need to protect the presence of love, for whilst it is exceptionally powerful, it can too easily be smothered under lies and fear. Stop heading the voices that tell you “Oh stop being so sensitive! Stop making such a big deal out of things!” Love is the biggest deal there is. What else is worth being so sensitive about?

The sacred warrior is vigilant that the presence of love is not chipped away by fear, criticism, doubt or untruths. Even if others find the unflinching honesty of your feelings difficult to handle, even if those feelings are expressed with gentleness and compassion, the sacred warrior honours the task of being more faithful to love, than to anything else. This includes the fear of loss. Actually it includes the fear of anything at all.

The darkness will be intelligent and sneaky. It will tell you that it doesn’t matter, that this one time you can forget what you promised, that you are just one person and that you can’t make difference. The sacred warrior within will fight with love and honour to be true to what has meaning, and never, ever allow it to be cast aside – even if it seems easier in the moment. You’re being asked to stay strong and stand your ground. What is happening, or soon will be happening is worthwhile. So hold tight. Ask for help to heal.

WHAT IS ALREADY WITH YOU

You hold in your hand that which you seek. In other words, the pair of spectacles you have been rummaging around the house for, are sitting on top of your head. What you are seeking, perhaps by exploring far and wide, is actually right under your nose. You may not like this idea! Is is so much more wonderful to imagine there is something yet to find. Of course, there is unlimited creative potential and always something more that can be – yet in this instance, it is important for you to know that you already have what you need and what you want. That doesn’t mean it’s the end of the story, although it does ask you to give up the fantasy that a perfect solution lies in the future somewhere. Instead it asks you to acknowledge that everything necessary for success is with you now. All you need do is accept this and act with what you have available to you. This is good news. This particular chapter has a happy ending in store. That ending will become real for you just as soon as you stop trying to skip forward to the next chapter. Better to be completely present in the now. From here, the next phase will naturally happen without force on your part.

Don’t make the mistake of believing that what you need is behind you, lies with another or is yet to appear. You have all that you need to take the next step in your life and from that, all else will flow. And there is a sweetness to that.

You are more ready than you think you are. You are more prepared than you realise. You don’t need an entire army of resources to move ahead – although you may find that when you do move, many resources suddenly become apparent. All that you need in this moment is just one sweet act of nourishment. That is enough to take you out of backwards nostalgia or regret, and forwards into what is awaiting you now. Be brave. Dig deep within. And enjoy the sweet surrender.
