Post Summer Solstice, Dragonfly Energy, Cancer New Moon and Full Solar Eclipse

Happy Miraculous, Magickal, Manifesting, Merry, Magnificent Monday! It’s the last Monday in June, wow the month has whizzed by! Thanks so much to all of you who emailed me about your experiences with the B.O.S.S. (Book of Summer Solstice). I am so glad you loved the guided visualisation and it was a delight to hear the rituals you chose to do and how some of you even did the Abundance spell! Whoot! Whoot! So tickled. Also, some of you have asked about the Solstice Reading Special and when it ends. It ends on Thursday, June 27th at midnight. So if you want to take advantage of it, now is the time.

Between the Full Moon and Solstice energy I felt very much like I had been floating in another realm, have you ever had that? In fact, on Thursday I went hiking on glorious First Nations Land called SNIDCEL (place of the Blue Grouse). It was so incredibly beautiful and at one point I rounded a corner and there were at least 50 – 60 dragonflies dancing around me, it was pure magick! I then found a glorious mossy dried up stream bed and so I started to scramble up it into the unknown woods and as I got to the top there was a sensation that my vision had changed. It was so strange, I could see everything, but not as I would normally see it – so I made my way back down to the beach and “poof” it changed back to normal. Okay, this is rather weird, am I losing my marbles?

Later on I saw way up above me what looked like a tiny trail leading off into the old, old trees, so I hauled myself up a steep bank by grabbing onto tree roots and as I got to the top and took a step on the trail my body immediately responded. My heart rate shot up, I felt anxious and that there was something around me and then there was a whisper in the leaves of the trees saying “You aren’t meant to be here right now!” Okay, now I am feeling a tad loopy! So I scuttled back down the steep bank on my arse and the minute my feet hit the beach – womph! Back to normal and surrounded by dragonflies. Can I explain it? Nope. Did I pay attention – heck yes! In fact when I got home I researched dragonfly energy as I had just experienced it in spades! Did you know that dragonflies have been around for approximately 180 million years?! I didn’t! Dragonflies remind us that we are light and can reflect the light in powerful ways if we choose to do so. It’s a Divine prompting to use the creative imagination as a force within your life. When Dragonfly energy is in balance in one’s life you see things clearly, you feel more joyful and you are pure magick! Wowzer, Wowzer, Wowzer. Glorious message. So next time you see a dragonfly, remember this invitation.

The next day was Solstice. How was Solstice for you? For the first time in my life I celebrated the dawn of Solstice and the sunset of Solstice is was absolutely Divine. I had planned to do both celebrations solo, but I decided to invite a group of women that I often encounter in the wee hours of the morning on the beach with their doggos. Now, I love all animals, but I will say doggos are one of my most favourite, in fact my familiar normally has always been a doggo (oh yes and a crow). I love the energy of doggos, the pure joy they exhibit when they play, their loyalty and the fact that if something is off they know right away. They don’t run around questioning it, they just follow their instincts. Now the doggos that these women have are super cool, and it tends to go hand in hand that if the doggo is cool then their humans are pretty cool as well, and these ladies most certainly are. So at 4am we all got up and headed to the ocean. I had made crystal pouches of rose petals, citrine, quartz, sea salt and rosemary for each of them. The night before I had packed smudge, candles, pinecones to start a fire, salt to cast a circle and a plethora of little mini cheese scones that looked like suns. One woman brought gorgeous tea, another – oranges and so it went so we had a veritable feast for us. I had also picked 3 calendula flowers for each woman; a yellow one to cast on the water to release something, an orange one for gratitude and another orange one for intention. It was such a glorious ritual and time I felt very blessed.

Then in the evening at about 9pm I packed up my backpack again, grabbed Danu and we headed back to the beach to watch the sunset and to dance, pray, offer more flowers and sing with the waves. We stayed there with our candles burning until dark set in and I reflected that exactly a year ago I had come to this same beach with all my family (as we were here for a reunion) and we had celebrated Solstice together. As the dark fully set in and feeling thoroughly satiated and peaceful we slowly wandered home.

Have to say it was an incredible day!

Okay, let’s talk about New Moon and Eclipse. We have our first eclipse coming up on July 2nd’s New Moon. This is a full solar eclipse in Cancer and the energy is related to leaving the comfort zone, managing your primary emotions and transforming the meaning of what is familiar and safe for you. Now some of you may be saying – Jenn, what’s the big deal with eclipses. Ahhhh grasshopper let’s explore that. An eclipse can generate an awareness of something larger, running the show and they poke holes in our ego/identity revealing things within us that we have been avoiding or are totally unaware of.

Remember that the New Moon sets the energy for the month, right? So the energy for this upcoming month is sensitive (as the New Moon will be in Cancer), all about what makes you feel at home, nourishes and supports you and the invitation to step up into more of what you want. So this is where Intention comes into play, in a big way. Energy follows Intention, so set your intentions with clarity and let the energy follow them. Please don’t set an intention and then the minute you are done start second guessing it, as guess where the energy is going to go? You guessed it, after the second aspect. So my invitation to you is as we navigate this energy for the next couple of months (yes I did say that), and play with the Fire energy of this season – key thing is be kind and gentle with yourself and allow (note that word) the feelings to come up and just flow through you. Some days you are going to be so inspired and filled with vim and vigour that you want to go conquer the world, other days you may feel like you want to hide out in a dark closet with a large bottle of wine and a straw! Just let it flow and stay focused on your Intention, okay?

Okay, with that all being said – let’s crack on with the reading. The cards that were dancing with glee to come and guide this week are the wonderful Oracle of the Dragonfae. Now if these guides are new to you, let me introduce them (as that’s the polite thing to do). These guides are the magickal and mystical that weave through the threads of every day, they are the Dragonfae, Gods and Goddesses who dwelt in dimensional lands….Eden, Avalon, Ys, Atlantis and Mu, they are Morgan, Guenevere, Merlin and others – fully alive and filled with magick! They are the deliciously magickal beings that have always been there, we just forgot, and when we connect with them, we reconnect with the lost parts of ourselves, allowing us to fully explore the gift of life on this beautiful green and blue planet, known by some as Gaia, by others as Dana, and by many other names.

The lovely crystals that bounced out after having a week of moon bathing and sun bathing (so they are super cleansed and charged) are:- Snowflake Obsidian – a stone of purity it provides balance for the body, mind and spirit. Aragonite – balances energy fields, promotes renewal, strength and confidence. Last but not least Fire Agate – known as the Spiritual Flame of absolute perfection.

Okay, let’s drop into our bodies yes? If you need a bit of extra support there is a glorious guided visualisation for you, to help you slow down to the ebb and flow of the waves should you feel inclined.

Otherwise just breathe, allow your breathe to slow and feel a sense of calm float over your body. Then when you are ready, invite in the energy of this fire season, the energy of the Solstice and when you can feel it in your body pick the card of cards that resonate for you.

I am Mab, some call me Queen, and it is of your independence and personal sovereignty that I wish to speak to you at this time. Get back to the basics of enchantment and magick, reconnecting with the old ways and seeing them as eternal. Understand the karmic history of your area, and apply the principles and lessons in the present moment. Know that your thoughts have energy, and can have an immense impact on what happens (think of the threefold law…). Believe in your own abilities, and trust in the ancient ways of wisdom that run in your blood, as well as in the planet’s heartbeat.

Don’t be distracted – see behind the act!

All my artifice hides only the truth, which at the moment you do not wish to see. I am always telling you the truth: it is simply that you do not wish to hear. I have always shown you who I truly am: you simply choose not to see. The clues have been strewn about you….but you have decided not to notice their presence.

I can draw people into actions that reveal their shadows; and for that they condemn me. But I have been their teacher, for they then know the whole of themselves, and thus have compassion for others. Some have wanted me to be an angel, when I have never been of the heavens, and never claimed to be. I am illusions: but most of all, I am your illusion.

Look beyond, take off my mask, and decide to acknowledge the truth about the circumstances which you find yourself within. And know that although you may say I have done you wrong, I have taught you to follow your guidance. Drystan is the Dragonfae bad boy, the cheat, the hustler and the fool who charms his way into your world, and then lets you down in spectacular fashion. He’s a rogue. And the truth is: you always knew there was something dodgy about his situation, or this promise even though the glamour here is nearly irresistible.

If you are drawn in by someones charm and charisma, you may find yourself wishing and hoping they were indeed your hero (only in disguise!) Use your judgement and place your own needs and desires first. Believe it when someone says they are not to be trusted, even when that is said not with words but with actions, or when there are too many contradictions. Enjoy the show, but do not live the act. Begin to explore your truths, your story, and begin to look beneath the surface.

LADY OF THE NEW BUDS

See how my garden has grown about me? See how my children, the darling buds, clamour for my attention? They cry at night and can be so touchy during the day! I must shelter them from harshness and keep them in a safe place, till they are strong enough to branch out….even then, my watchful eye will look out for their care.

You see, so many people see the beauty, and do not understand where it sprang from; the rich, loamy soil. The sweet water poured from the water-Dragonfae into this earth, the minerals of the natural realms, the light of the Sun and the shining sweetness of the crystal moon have all anointed my garden with their blessings. And then there is me. So many see my garden, and wonder at it, but they do not see the work and the care that has preceded my domain. Its beauty is a result of love, care, natural growth and attention to each and every one of its inhabitants.

When your growth appear around you, from the seeds you have planted, take time to tend this garden. Enlist the assistance of like-minded souls, and just as you would not feed these tender buds poisons and pollutants, do not feed your ideas the opinions and energies of those who are not in integrity. Stay true to the vision of your creation and truly take a little time each day to tend this garden, be it of love, ideas, little ones or creative endeavours, until they are robust and begin to grow into their own energy. For now, it is the tender time, the time when the buds are at most risk from the frost of rejection, the poison of judgement, and the choke of cruelty. Be vigilant, and you too will have a garden for all to enjoy and love.

Many will feel you’re fortunate indeed to have created such a beautiful Eden, but they will not see the care you have taken to grow this. But I have seen. I have seen it all. Whisper to her your dreams and ideas, plant your seeds, and watch them grow. Allow her to inspire you with care for your own budding projects, beings, loves and responsibilities.

The emergence will come at the right time, because the bud will be forced to flower at some stage – do not allow yourself to wither in the bud. Divine guidance needs practical application and work. Action teamed with inspiration will create a beautiful, bountiful paradise. Work hard at what it is you love.

I so love the cards! (Have I said that before?) Perfect cards for this glorious energy that is swirling around us. A quick heads up, there will not be a reading on Monday July 1st as it is Canada Day and I plan on playing, dancing and finding cake to eat! Nom! Misplaced Long Weekend, Full Moon in Scorpio, Nature Lessons

Happy Magickal, Marvellous, Manifesting, Merry, Mellow, Monday! How are you delicious lovely? Did you have a splendid week? Here it is a long weekend, but the bizarre thing was my mind was so wrapped up in something else, I totally blanked. So along rolls the weekend and I’m like “What, how did I miss a long weekend and not make plans?” Yup, total brain fart which did throw me into a slight tail spin as I would have normally planned out the whole weekend and be doing, doing, doing (yes I am a doer!) Now don’t get me wrong, ask me when the Full Moon is, any of the Sabbats, the energy of the month all of that stuff – I have it dialed, but I blanked on the long weekend.

So on Saturday (which was the Full Moon in Scorpio) I was pondering what the heck I was going to DO for 3 days without a plan. I kept hearing a whisper – can you just BE with no plan? Can you just SIT with no plan? Can you just PLAY with no plan? Gulp! So I took it for a test drive, I made sure to bang off all errands, tasks etc early on Saturday and then went to an art supply store – why? A few months ago I saw a painting at the Art Gallery that made me suck in my breathe, the colours were so vibrant and it looked “interesting”. It was made with alcohol inks on Yopo paper, so I filed that away for a few months and then when in the art store I grabbed the things to play with this medium. Something I haven’t done in a long while. As I brought my treasures home I could feel the itchiness to be ‘doing’ something, so instead I went and sat out in the garden and then things became even more odd, lol.

So there I am on Saturday afternoon ( the full moon) sitting in the backyard, writing, creating and playing with a new oracle deck (wait until she decides to come out to play, very cool deck). Whilst puppers (aka Danu) was munching on a bone. The sun was shining and I was focused on BEing and trying to reign in my mind, which was berating me with a list of things I should be DOing, when all of a sudden I heard this loud “peep” sound. I looked over to where it was and there was nothing. I turned my attention back to the cards and the sound came again, except even louder. “PEEP”. I look up and around and still nothing, then just as I’m about to turn away all of a sudden this tiny hummingbird appeared in the barren spot I was looking at. He hovered in the exact same spot for a minute, made his sound, shot up at a rapid rate up into the air, and I mean about 60 feet up, and then as if he had run out of gas, plummeted straight down to the earth and just before I thought he was going to hit the ground he did a massive swoop up into the air and went back to the exact (I mean exact) same spot he started. WTF! Do I need to call someone, is this a suicidal hummingbird? He did this 4 more times then vanished for about 5 minutes and then repeated the process. Okay, I’m watching and paying attention, but I still didn’t understand. To me hummingbirds are the representatives of Joy and I have to admit my heart did soar to watch him dance in the sky and perform, so very cool. I then did a bit of research and found he was doing his mating dance, trying to entice the lovely female hummingbirds to him and that I didn’t need to call the Crisis hotline! I then checked out my amazing Animal Speak book and Hummingbirds represent “Tireless Joy and the Nectar of Life, Accomplishing that which seems impossible.”

So with that burbling in my heart and body I really played with the Full Moon. This Full Moon in Scorpio was deliciously intense, all about transformation, or as I like to call it – “transforfuckingmation”. So I made sure to gift myself with time and ritual in the evening to do some powerful releasing and reframing, it was very cathartic. I also filled up a huge jar of water and left it out in the moonlight with all of my crystals and my anathame to be cleansed and charged. Yummers!

On Sunday again I practiced just BEing (gosh it can be tough) and I went back out into the plants and the yard and watched Danu frolic and play and then I noticed this Bee. Not that it was a huge Bee or anything like that but the fact that it hovered in front of my face, approximately 10 inches away and just kept in one spot and stayed there for minutes, would do a swoop and come back – made me pay attention. So you remember that game as a kid where you stare at your friend and who blinks first loses? That’s what it reminded me of! This Bee was amazingly persistent and sometimes on his swoop he would bring a buddy back and they would both hover 10 inches from my face, so close I could see their little furry legs and the shadows of their wings as they moved at light speed. Get this. They did this for an hour! A whole hour! (I so lost the blinking game to be honest). So I talked to them, sang to them, all thoughts went out the window and I just played and focused on them and then all of a sudden I snorted water out of my nose with laughter as I realised I was BEEing! I know Bee is big wisdom and overcoming the impossible but I wanted to learn more, so I did. BEE represents Fertility and the Honey of Life, No matter how great the dream there is a promise of fulfillment if we pursue it.”

Am I paying attention now? You bet! For me these are amazing lessons to be reminded of, it’s been an interesting few weeks. I was so grateful to literally have it thrust into my face in such a way I couldn’t miss it if I wanted to! Gotta love how Nature talks to us and gives us little nudges.

With that all being said, when I asked the cards who wanted to come out and speak on this gorgeous sunny day the cards that wiggled and jiggled to come and guide this glorious week are The Isis Oracle. Have you ever asked who Isis is? Goddess of the Skies, Magick and Wisdom are just a few of the titles she is given. Let me take a moment to introduce you to this lovely deck – “You are a powerful Soul and you are awakening. Your thoughts, feelings and inner world is changing, and so too is your outer world. When a Soul is growing in power and strength, it can benefit from guidance to help make the path into new way of being in the world that much easier. Isis offers Her wisdom and guidance to you to assist you at this time of spiritual growth and transition. She loves you, and wants you to shine and be your radiant self, filled with power and wisdom.”

The crystals that were very clear it was their turn are Rhodonite – is a stone of compassion, an emotional balancer that clears away emotional wounds and scars from the past, and nurtures love. Amethyst – It is thought of mostly as a protective stone. As it is linked to the crown chakra, it is helpful in purifying the mind and clearing it of negative thoughts. Selenite – embodies a high vibration energy that works to help you to bring light down from the higher realms into the physical body, to create personal transformation. And as always, a Selenite Wand (which amplifies). Oh yes, the gorgeous Calendula flowers and a sprig of fennel were most insistent. (Nobody need call the flower hotline as they immediately went into a vase of water)!

Okay let’s drop in, ground and get present, yes? I have a lovely visualisation to help you anchor into heaven and earth if you so desire. If not, just breathe in slowly through your nose and then sigh it out through your mouth. Allow yourself to settle and as you do I invite you to welcome in Gaia, Nature, Magick and the whispers. Let them play in your mind space and then when you are ready pick the card or cards that invite you to come play.

LIFE RESTORED

Spiritual resurrection is gifted to you now. Whatever part of you or your life you thought to be dead is being revived and will flourish back into life. Just as the Phoenix rises from the fire, transitioning from death, into life, so too will you rise again, healed and renewed.

Any trauma, ending, struggle or apparent defeat is not the end of the story for you now. What may appear to be an ending can sometimes simply be the forces of Ancient Feminine Power flowing into new pathways, pulling energy away from old forms so that they can transition into new forms. This can take short or long periods of time. It could be over days or years, weeks, months, decades. It doesn’t matter how long something appears to have been decaying, it will spring back into life at the right time.

Just as the River Nile subtly adjusts its course over time, so too will the River of Light that flows through you, filling you with life force and Divine Energy, move with innate wisdom. You can trust what is happening for you now. Something important to you is coming back to life. It might even feel like you are coming back to life after a period of increasing emotional numbness, physical or psychological struggle or spiritual disillusionment. It might also be a lifestyle, practice, business or relationship – new or old – that is coming to life now.

You are guided by Divine Priestess of the Phoenix, Sister Isis, to turn your face to the Sun. Just as the Sacred Scarab Beetle follows the movement of the Sun, you are encouraged to focus on the light and life that is seeking you now. Do not resign yourself to the way things have been. Let go of the past! Have hope and optimism. The past is over. Enjoy your rebirth.

WINGS OF ISIS

You have a special spiritual relationship with the angelic worlds. Part of your Soul purpose is to birth angelic consciousness and values such as fearlessness, compassion and service, into this human culture. Wings of Isis bring you angelic assistance and intervention, and confirmation that any impressions you may have had that you belong not only to the human kingdom but also to the angelic one, are correct.

This is no small task and although you are well equipped to succeed, there are beings that wish to assist you so that they may grow too and your success may be more graceful and swift. Isis, Divine winged mother, goddess and angel of healing, wishes to assist you with unconditional love now.

You will be asked to lift yourself up to higher and higher vibrational states of awareness and this may mean letting go of certain relationships, practices or states of being or even particular habits or thought patterns that would lower your vibration into fear, doubt or shame. Give yourself permission to just let this happen. You do not need to force anything. It is a matter of softening, allowing and trusting what feels right for you with absolute faith and bold, radical acceptance. It will be OK!

The more you accept this part of you, the more you shall draw into your world others like you. You will just feel comfortable with each other, because you all hold a similar refined vibration. Even in the midst of ordinary, everyday relationship, there is a sense of easy connection, mutual understanding and spiritual acknowledgment. The angels send you love and peace now and say, “We are with you, beloved one.”

KNOT OF ISIS

Each initiate has their own unique spiritual blueprint with particular skills, talents and higher destinies unfolding that use their unique attributes. Part of your spiritual blueprint is a special relationship to the energies of the Goddess. This means that no only do you have the important spiritual task of helping Her thrive in this world but you are afforded Her power, protection and abundance too. You are now deepening your connection to Her.

Part of your High Destiny this lifetimes is to heal and flourish through the Divine Feminine in Her many forms, especially in those forms that truly resonate and hold meaning for you. This healing will happen on your personal path and may well be part of the work that you offer in service to the world (which may be simply in how you live your life.

Your Soul is braiding or twining with the Divine Feminine energies in a particular form. For some that will be a specific goddess and the energetic process will often be strong and deep. The Initiate will feel as if they are integrating the part of this goddess that is not just in them, but is a part of their own consciousness. It is a deeply personal, spiritually powerful and beautiful growth experience for the Soul. This process does not make you lose your individuality.

Listen to your body-soul as it grows with Divine Feminine wisdom and trust that She will guide you, whether man or woman, deeper into your own healing which benefits us all.

Ahhhhh, holy hannah as the reading unfolded I could feel goosebumps on my arms. Okay, the messages are clear, what are you going to do with yours? Ritual, Mercury Retrograde, Full Moon in Gemini and Thanksgiving! – Phew!

Hello delicious lovely, happy Magnificent, Marvelous, Magical, Mighty, Manifesting, Majestic, Mindful, Mesmerising Monday! (Have to love the letter M lol). Did you know that in Egyptian writing, its ideogram is derived from the character for water, which explains why it’s so gracefully written. In terms of Roman numerals, it represents the number 1000? I really quite like the idea of the Egyptian ideogram and the letter “M”.

I don’t know about you but for me this last week has been an interesting weave of ups and downs and really having to manage my energy carefully as there has been someone around me who is sooooo self absorbed, rude, narcissistic and an energy vampire – it’s been most interesting to watch and very peculiar to experience. But later in the week, with the holiday season starting to roll in, we will talk about energy management and how to keep yours and mine clear, clean and strong.

The other week a few people talked to me about ritual and what I found interesting was their thought that it was highly complex, time consuming and that you needed multiple “special” tools for it. Hmmmm, I don’t agree with that. Sure you can make it that way if you would like, and there are certainly times that you really want to make it super duper special, but for the day to day it doesn’t have to be that way. So let me share with you how I view and interpret the word “Ritual” and what it means to me.

To me a Ritual is intention made manifest, it’s that place of connection with the Divine, Universe, God/Goddess or however you chose to name it. In other words, a ritual takes an idea, thought or emotion and gives it a physical form in the world. So for example when I invite or suggest that perhaps at certain times there are things that you might want to write down, release and burn – guess what? That’s a ritual. When you sit down at New Moon and write your wishes/intentions out, guess what? That’s a ritual. All it took was a brief moment of time, paper, pen and something to light either a candle or the paper with.

To me ritual allows your body, your cells, you essence to understand your intention. Does that make sense? So what makes a mundane activity into a ritual is your consciousness while doing it. If you are smudging yourself or home, what is your intention? If you are having a salt water scrub shower or bath, what is your intention? When you light a candle every day when you walk in the door, what is your intention? Remember energy follows intention and attention follows energy and actions follow attention. Thus, a ritual can be a celebration such as the upcoming Thanksgiving in the States or it can be a practice which can be repeated daily, monthly or yearly. When ritual becomes a practice this allows us to go deeper, to explore all the various nuances and of course as we all know – repetition leads to mastery (think of that daily meditation, exercise, journaling etc).

Here is an example; since being guided, led and pushed by the Universe to head off on an adventure and move to somewhere that I didn’t know, leave my home, dogs, kids etc and then having the landing being so incredibly bumpy with all sorts of drama llamas playing out. I felt rootless. That is not a feeling that I enjoy, nor one that makes me feel safe, secure and at ease. Thus, when I found my little nest in a gorgeous locale I set the intention of community, connection and roots. Great intention right? However, I took that intention and turned it into ritual and then into a daily practice and made a commitment that I would “do” this practice for 40 days. Thus, every morning I would bound out of bed, rain, wind or shine and I would do a loop into the massive park nearby, down onto the beach and walk by the ocean and when a rock called to me I would park my arse on a wet driftwood log and offer up my prayers, my blessings and whatever else needed to come up. Then I would pop the rock into my pocket, loop back home and drop the rock in a bowl and say thank you. Now doing this has introduced me to a plethora of people that live nearby, I have been invited for tea, had great conversations and have helped two of them with lifting heavy items! Talk about community. Now keep in mind I committed to 40 days and there was no way I was going to miss one as if I did, I had to start again. Well, I didn’t miss a day, nor did I give up at the end of 40 as this glorious daily ritual feeds my soul, my body and my mind. I now have 49 rocks in my bowl. I guess what I am saying is ritual is easy. Set the intention, let the energy follow it, then the attention, but the key piece is action!

Now let’s talk about Mercury retrograde shall we? (No, don’t go running to the closet to try and hide!) Mercury went retrograde on November 16th and this is the last and final Mercury retrograde for 2018 (thank goodness!) Now as the retrograde happened in Sagittarius there is a lot of heat and fire to this baby. In other words with all this hot headed energy flying around, choose your words carefully. Sagittarius loves to turn up the volume and can be very blunt and loud mouthed, thus with the retrograde happening it can make everyone doubly tactless. So remember to watch your words carefully and try not to go dashing down the hot headed rabbit hole that may be sending sparks off all around you – especially if you are celebrating Thanksgiving!

To all my American friends, Thanksgiving is coming up this week and I hope you take time to just BE, Play, be Thankful and Feel. For some people family holiday celebrations can trigger all sorts of stuff, some great and some rather challenging. So remember to take the energy of the Full Moon that happens at the same time and just get clear about how you want to feel and what is okay for you. Energy Management! Okay, I do have to ask what’s with the Black Friday Sale thing? I appreciate a good deal, but I went once to a store in the states on Black Friday and it was insane! People were pushing, shoving, being rude all for $100 off of an item they wanted. Totally terrified me and have never gone to a Black Friday sale in person again. With that being said I do wish you all a marvelous Thanksgiving filled with family, gorgeous food, connection, joy and big laughter and remember Gratitude!

The Full Moon is on Thursday November 22nd and this full moon is in Gemini and called The Beaver Moon. Now what is the energy of this wonderful moon? “The full moon in Gemini delivers the goods in terms of versatility. That’s because this lunation is ruled by none other than Mercury—the messenger of the gods himself. This full Moon is all about action and change. Will you choose remaining stagnant in the cycles of your past or will you be consciously moving forward by enriching your spiritual blessings? As we move in step with the coming end of our calendar year, we choose enrichment of spiritual blessings or remain stagnant in our past.

Suddenly life is moving at an accelerated rate and be prepared to keep up with it during this full Moon until the next full Moon in December. Be flexible and not so rigid with your thoughts or actions. This full Moon is about leaving behind the noose of old habits, patterns and broken dreams.

Here is an appropriate quotation from President John Kennedy who passed 55 years ago November 22. “For time and the world do not stand still. Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or the present are certain to miss the future.” Think on this quotation.

What has been cannot be changed and it is time to let it go, while we lean forward to embrace all that lies ahead.

The lesson, energy and influences of this full Moon helps us to create a new legacy and to finally free ourselves from all obstacles, barriers and blocks that prevent our individual prophecy and birthright.”

Well that is certainly an interesting Full Moon to accompany Thanksgiving don’t you think?

The cards that wiggled and giggled to come support this week are The Divine Circus Oracle, which made me laugh and nearly snort tea out of my nose! Of course they would come, especially as we may be rubbing up against people that we love but sometimes find quite challenging to be around. Now, if you have never worked with this deck before let me give you a brief introduction – “This deck is for those who find it hard to follow rules, conform, bend to authority and generally ‘do what they are told.’ May your rebel heart always be bold. May your spirit always be free. My you remember to live the Divine Circus and have fun doing things the way you aren’t supposed to, whilst living your most creative and unique divine destiny.” The crystals that came to play are the ones from the beach, the gorgeous rocks that I pick up every morning and bring home to their beautiful bowl. And of course some delightful rose petals and Selenite to amplify.

Thus, I invite you to take a pause and a moment for yourself. Just BE and as you breathe in a lovely deep breath resonant with giving Thanks/Gratitude and as you breathe out through your open mouth release the past, the old, the worry and tension. Breathe like that for a few lovely, luscious breaths and when you are ready ask for the guidance that you need this week and then pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

Just as nature imbues the butterfly with an innate ability for radical transformation, so too do you have natural instincts within, guiding you to grow in dramatic, utterly life-changing ways. DATE WITH DESTINY

Out of the ethers and into your life, she arrives now because you have a date with Destiny. She is a mysterious creature; her ways are wild and her guidance is true. She may create chaos from which a new order can emerge, but there is no need to fear. She has come to inspire, uplift and direct you.

A date with Destiny is a big deal. It is the moment when you realise there is something helping you out, something intelligent, powerful, wise and, no matter how empowered you are, something even more powerful than your own efforts. All bets are off! Nothing is held sacred and anything can happen. If you are a control freak, this will probably scare you witless! You need to trust Destiny’s interventions on your behalf, even if her work seems to be causing your best intentions to go astray. Trust or go mad because you cannot control her. And you do not need to! Your divine destiny is your best life. It is you in the fullest and most beautiful creative expression possible. It is what you want and need, even when you don’t immediately realise it, even when that is rather different to what you once thought you wanted and needed.

The Universe has heard the prayers in your heart, and life is going to answer them by rearranging what needs to be rearranged to sort out whatever has been troubling you. Make sure you let it happen. The more you allow yourself to trust in her, the more you will realise that the universe is working with you, rather than against you, and if you are willing, it will show you the time of your life!

DIVINE DISGUISE

Some blessings are obvious – the door that opens, the person who says yes and the instant success of an idea. But not all blessings are instantly recognisable. Some blessings are so veiled that at first you might consider them to be an unwanted development. A concealed blessing is either already at work in your life or on its way. Don’t worry if you feel like things aren’t working out as they should. Soon enough, the disguise will be dropped, and the blessed unmasked in all its beauty.

Blessings are the mysterious workings of the universe, there to help us along our unique life path to live our truths and fulfil our potential. The universe has the knack of knowing just what it is we need, even when sometimes we might think we need something altogether different. This is how it can be that something we resist and reject in our lives can become the very thing we’re most grateful for later on. We realise it had been a blessing masked, something actually helping us, even though it might have come in the form of a challenge or a struggle before we eventually gain great benefit from it.

The real beauty of a situation isn’t obvious to you yet. But trust and have peace of mind and a realisation that the universe does really know what it’s doing. It’s in your corner, on your side, cheering you on and helping you avoid unnecessary pitfalls, even if you don’t know they exist. There is no need to worry, even that which appears to be most troublesome is going to reveal itself to be working in your favour!

Think of the things that you do that nourish you, whether it is playing music, lighting a candle, going for a walk under the trees and give it the energy of a ritual. In other words, set an intention, let the energy follow it make it a conscious action. Also, no matter if you are in the States and celebrating Thanksgiving or live somewhere else, play with the energy of this wonderful Full Moon and give thanks and bless everything that is in your life. In my morning practice I always say “ I bless everything I have and I bless my increasing good and good fortune” and then I start listing them. So I might say “I bless my bed and the cosiness of it and I bless my increasing good and good fortune, I bless the sun filtering through the autumn leaves and I bless my increasing good and good fortune.” Yes? Give it a try and really think of everyone and everything that could do with a blessing. At the full moon take some time to write down the things, or aspects, that you are ready to release, then burn the list and allow it to become compost. Play with it and see how you feel. When Spring is Reluctant, Mercury is still in Retrograde and Your Intentions get Eaten! – April 9th Reading

Happy magnificent, marvelous Monday! It’s good to be back. How was your Easter? Did a large wascally wabbit come and poop little chocolate eggs everywhere? Our Easter was fabulous as guess what? We had two days of sun and nice weather in a row!!! (I know, sad but true). So a lot of time was spent playing outside, waking up the garden and just getting everything freshened up. We had a glorious egg hunt through the woods and bushes, and our wascally wabbit hid eggs in the bark of the trees, under shrubs, peeking out from rocks – quite inventive if I say so myself. Good thing we did our egg hunt on the Saturday as Sunday brought 8” of snow! (It was nearly enough to make me want to crawl back into bed and stay there until the real Spring arrived). Ah well, can’t do anything about it.

My friend and I collaborated and co-created Easter dinner for friends, family and waifs and strays, so I think there were about 20 odd of us which always makes for great conversations and interesting dynamics. We also played a fabulous game called “Telestrations”, I highly, highly suggest it but the caveat is it’s not really appropriate for small people to play. It can be a bit edgy, kind of like Cards against Humanity. But it’s great fun!!

On Equinox I did my ritual of writing on little strips of paper things that I would like more of in my life and then I popped them into 12 peat pots, covered them with dirt and planted all sorts of herb seeds in them. Well with the lack of sun (as Spring is being reluctant in showing herself), I noticed they were a bit straggly, so I moved them to a different window and lower down. About an hour later I walked back into the living room to see that one pot was missing, there was a small pile of dirt on the carpet and Legolas (my large white Akbash) was licking his lips with dirt hanging from his jowls! The bugger had eaten one of my intentions! So I don’t know if that means he is spreading my intention out into the world or that that intention was just too delicious not to share! Bloody dog!

Okay, enough about twisted games, pooping bunnies and intention eating dogs, let’s get on with the reading. The deck that came out loud and proud this week is “The Divine Circus Oracle” and if this is your first time coming to this wonderful deck, let me give you the dedication. “This deck is for those who find it hard to follow rules, conform, bend to authority and generally “do what they are told”. The crystals that literally threw themselves out of the bowl to come play are:- Ruby Zoisite – great for transmuting negative energy into positive. Snowflake Obsidian – a stone of purity and brings about a balance to body, mind and spirit. Last but not least, Citrine – highly protective and enhances optimism. These are then all topped of with of a Selenite wand for amplification.

I have created an “interesting” visualisation for you that involves some travelling, but don’t fret you won’t need your passport. However, if you don’t feel the need just take a few moments to slow your breathing down and get centred in yourself and then pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

RARE, RAW, REAL

There is a unique beauty in you that wants to shine through. It is different. It might not be pretty, neat and tidy, and you might even feel vulnerable about sharing this real, unveiled you with the world…do it anyway because the world wants to love you. The rare, raw and real you.

It’s time to peel back the layers and unearth the real you – naked, vulnerable, real, beautiful. With every layer of hiding and protection removed, you’ll encounter whatever it was that caused that layer of self protection to be built up in the first place – maybe a sense of shame, fear, hate, anger or doubt. Affirm your love for yourself, and a willingness to be patient whilst you become ready to be known and seen and loved for who you are underneath those layers of pain, then you’ll find it easier to let them fall away. As this happens there will be a revelation of a raw, rare and real you that you didn’t even know was there – so pure so powerful, so precious. The inner light of you will shine through, like a lantern suddenly illuminated, with the radiance of you lighting up the dark.

In being brave enough to do this, you help empower others to be their true selves as well, to be less afraid of what makes them different, to embrace their uniqueness and feel the divine dignity that is rightfully ours when we choose to simply be who we are.

DUKE OF SHADOWS

Cunningly clever am I, helping you discern the truth from the lie. I remind you that half truths may seem to be whole, yet in the shadows is information yet to be known. When the time is right, the light shall be bright, and confusion will give way to understanding.

You are being invited to be patient. This is a cautionary card, not to inspire concern, but rather to inspire curiosity. There is more to a situation, person, opportunity, or even an apparent absence of activity or success, than meets the eye. You could imagine it being like the universe has another card up its sleeve and is yet to show its full hand. A process has been set in motion but is “under the radar” of your awareness. Something is happening, even if that doesn’t appear to be the case. But just like a seed starts to grow into a plant, deep in the earth, apparently invisible and yet very real, you are being subjected to invisible but real forces of growth and healing at this time.

Because you cannot know what you don’t know, you will need to wait for more information to come to you. So if what you see, sense or feel is negative right now, don’t believe it! Things are going to shift and change and there will be a surprising twist in your life. Though you don’t see it coming, another piece of your life puzzle is going to reveal itself soon. It will help solve a difficulty or question you have been holding in your heart.

SECRET OF SHINOBI

Shhhhhh! Can you keep a secret? It’s time to play your cards close to your chest. Soon enough, you’ll be ready to stand upon the mountain top for all to see and hear. For now, let things unfold in the guarded privacy of your inner world. When the time is right to be seen in the light, you’ll know what is true and what to do. Until then, be patient, be private, be committed and wait for the right time to shine.

Sometimes being less visible, less transparent, less “seen” for a time is helpful. It doesn’t mean being dishonest or deceptive, but it does mean keeping your intentions and your truths to yourself until you see the best way to attain your goals. In fact, the best way to attain your goals might be more of the “iron fist in velvet glove” approach. You might find that gentle persuasion works far better than direct confrontation, which can unintentionally inflame a situation and trigger defensive reactions in others instead of finding a way to bring resolution.

When it is time to show your hand, to reveal your intentions and speak more openly and publicly about what has been gestating, you’ll know it; but for now, let things come together away from prying eyes. Just for now, it’s time to keep a secret.

Wow, that was quite amazing, they are all to do with patience, trusting and being willing. (Have I said how much I love my cards?) How did your pick resonate for you? To me these cards are quite “Spring” like in the way that we plant a seed and we have to be patient and not go digging it up to see if it’s growing. Trust. Such a small word and one that can be very hard to do sometimes. So my gorgeous one, I wish you a glorious week filled with patience, inner knowing and of course huge, huge belly laughs! Oh yes, and is it just me that thinks Ruby Zoisite would make a great band name?

Hello, hello, hello delicious lovely. How are you? Did you celebrate last week? We did! Valentine’s (leaving random love notes everywhere). New Moon wishes and then had a house full and a ladened table of homemade Chinese food on Friday to ring in the year of the Dog! It was such great fun, and so much amazing food and then topped off by playing a fabulous game called “Telestrations”. If you have never played it I highly recommend it, it’s kind of like Telephone meets Pictionary, but far more twisted!

I was very disappointed this weekend as early in the week with the weather being mild, I was almost convinced Spring was around the corner and then it changed. It started snowing, and it snowed, and snowed and then snowed more and just kept on frigging snowing! Then it was great fun to have the temperature drop and the wind pick up to 50km an hour. So a good chunk of the weekend was spent with no power, heat or any means of making a cuppa tea! (That is positively sacrilegious!) My daughter went over a steep bank in her car due to the ice and all the snow and was trapped upside down in her car for a while. Needless to say she was very shaken up, but a good dosing of Gaba, Rescue Remedy and a warm blankie and she is doing much better today. We still have to sort out how to get the car from it’s precarious position balanced on a tree and embedded in the snow, but that can wait a little bit.

Anyhow, enough of my grumbles about the weather – I can’t change it so I need to find ways of appreciating it, hence we are having a gorgeous roast beast and yorkshire puddings for supper tonight. Nom, nom, nom. The perfect meal for this type of weather.

Even though there are no huge celebrations happening today all sorts of wonderful things have happened on this day in the past. For example in 1878 Thomas Edison received his patent for his gramophone (and all of a sudden we had music). Handel’s Alexanders Feast premiered and in 1949 the 1st Bollingen Prize for poetry was awarded to Ezra Pound! So even though this might feel like a ‘meh’ day, it’s not – the possibilities are endless.

The deck that was most insistent on coming to play was The Sacred Rebel Oracle, which is a perfect deck for today as it’s all about creating a marvellous life and world filled with love. The crystals that insisted on coming to join in are Fire Agate, Rhodonite and Amethyst and of course Selenite to amplify and cleanse.

This week there is no guided visualisation, as I had a corker of a cold and it left me with a very, very deep husky voice (albeit with a British accent), the perfect voice for 1-900 calls I must say lol. So take a moment to just wiggle your toes and put your feet flat on the floor. Breathe all the air out of your lungs and then take a glorious deep breathe in through your nose, hold for 4 and then sigh it out your mouth. Repeat this a few times whilst you gently roll your shoulders up back and down and let them gently fall like wings down along your spine.

In keeping with this month’s theme of UNFOLDING, ask for guidance or support as to what you need to know or be aware of to encourage more UNFOLDING in your life. When you feel ready pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

GOING BEYOND NORMAL

On the path of life there are deciding moments where we can choose to go with the mainstream or we can dare to take a bolder, more authentic and trusting way – even if it seems riskier or less safe. To rely solely on logic and science, without incorporating the mysterious and magical is a recipe for an existence that is far too dry! The sacred rebel within our hearts will always choose a juicer approach to life. You are currently approaching such a choice point. You could say that the choice is about balance. It is lss about choosing to honour either art or science, gardening or architecture, and more about integrating all approaches so that you enhance rather than hinder your life journey.

There is a time and a place for logic, strategy, planning and measurable outcomes. These are not bad tools to have but we must be vigilant not to worship them or allow them to quash or less rational, but equally valuable decision-making tools: intuition, feelings and those things you know, without knowing how you know them! The flowing, inspirational energy of the heart may have no conceivable basis in logic or reason and still be uncannily accurate. To remain rebellious we must not sacrifice the art of emotion, instinct, passion and intuition, for the science of logic and strict planning!

You are being asked to stay open to the intuitive approach in your life, your work, your creativity as well as in your spiritual journey. The intuitive approach can be likened to the method of a gardener or an artist. There is a sense of what might work where and a loose or even a detailed plan, but how the plan is carried out will depend on and respond to the flow off its surroundings. There is no need to control the situation but rather a desire to nurture an idea to fruition.

You are moving outside of the plan! You are living on the border of what is socially accepted. This is good. This is fringe-dwelling freedom. Others might not see this about you straight away as you seem pretty normal but that secret eccentric streak is just waiting to show itself. And, maybe you are an out and proud fringe dweller, completely comfortable with this way of being. Either way, you have a chance to live from the heart more deeply and expressively than ever before. You need to realise that this is a legitimate, empowered and creative way to live that honours all of who you are. You can give up forcing or squashing yourself down into a very limited set of so called desirable qualities like intellect and control. It’s time to get a bit wild and let nature take its course.

DIVING FOR LIGHT

How brave you are! You are diving for light. It’s easier to look for light in the heavenly and sweet than to look for the light in that which is dark. This is an advanced task that only a rebellious and brave heart will attempt.

You may not feel that you have taken such a journey by choice. Yet you have taken this wise challenge on from deep within your soul.

This oracle speaks of a time when you are called into darkness through life circumstances, situations, relationship challenges or inner struggles that you don’t understand. That darkness may be a creative block, a sense of being in a void or feelings of depression, rage, sadness, fear or anxiety. There may or may not be an obvious cause. The darkness might be generally accepted and socially acknowledged because there is a socially acceptable or obvious reason for it. However, there may be no obvious justification for your experience of darkness. Just know that you are actually on track and right where you need to be.

Our creative process and our spiritual path go through similar turning of the wheel process. You need to be alert to sabotage and criticism. Don’t carry other people’s fear for them. Stay in your heart. Will you stay in your heart or will you be seduced by darkness and overcome by anger or sleepiness. This is a spiritual test and a threshold for all true creative work. Stay connected to your heart, all will be well.

COME TO LIFE

You’re the most sacred of all sacred artworks. You are bringing yourself to life now and this is how it must be. Of course something being essential doesn’t mean it will always be easy. You must support yourself and have courage during this process. Your monkey mind is not to run the show. It might have a lot to say and at times it seems very convincing, but it is not the one in charge. Your mind can inspire you with ides. However, it is the real you that speaks through your rebellious sacred heart and is living your life, not the monkey mind. The mind is not much more than a swirling cacophony of habitual reactions.

Beneath habitual thoughts there is a deep sensual, creative and energetic awakening happening to you. It is so far beyond what the mind is now capable of controlling. Others might not like it because it shakes things up – coming to life tends to do that. However, it is happening now and the only real choice you have to make is how to deal with it.

Coming to life means feeling. It might bring joy but it could equally bring sadness, rage or fear. It could bring all of these and more. Feelings will come and go quite swiftly when allowed to flow. You might need to paint, write, enact ritual, sing or dance your feelings to help the energy flow. Don’t hold back. Create the space for yourself to do it. In this process you are uncovering the artistry of the universal creator. You are honouring the sacredness of life by exploring it without restraint and that includes the flow of your feelings.

Don’t imagine you can go back to sleep. You are too awake for that now. There is no falling back into old ways. There is another adventure awaiting you now.

Wow, I loved those cards! So delicious one wishing you a stupendous week, remember to stay warm and cosy and take time everyday to do something, no matter how small, just for you, whether it’s lighting a candle in the evening and just taking 10 minutes, or having a glorious soak in a bath filled with essential oils.
