Weekly Reading May 2nd

Happy Wonderful May! Do you have lovely flowers coming into bloom where you are? We have been very blessed with fantabulous warm weather and all the lilacs are in full bloom. So as I sit outside in an early evening there is a gorgeous wafting of their delicious perfume on the breeze as it undulates by. Deliciously Heavenly!

With us being in a new month I did think of using a different deck, but I have to admit, this wonderful Sacred Rebels Oracle deck keeps calling to me, so I am going to keep answering until it says it is time for a change.

I invite you, wherever you are to just slow down for a few moments and take a gentle pause. (Of course if you are driving that could be a tad tricky!) Envision a gorgeous woodland path, can you see it?

You feel pulled to follow this path with its cherry trees and apple trees all in blossom lining the edges of the path and the petals gently floating down to land on the bright green grass below. As you walk along you can you see an opening, a glade where the sunlight is dappled as it filters through the canopy of leaves above and there is an old stone bench. You sit down on the bench and as you do you can feel all your stress, tension and anxiety flowing out of your body and into the solid earth beneath you. You look around and a sense of ease, joy and serenity flows in through the top of your head and all the way down into your toes as you take a deep healing, cleansing breathe and gently close your eyes and smile to yourself at how perfect everything is.

In this moment know you are guided.

Now let’s go see what guidance you received.

SEEING THE TRUE YOU

Sometimes we believe what others tell us we are, as though the self we see reflected back to us through their eyes is truth. You have been putting rather too much faith in the reflections others have of you – to the point that you might not be honouring all that you are and all that you are becoming, because you believe too little of yourself.

You are to begin to develop the art of direct perception. This is the ability to recognise yourself not only in the eyes of others, but from how you feel about yourself, how you experience yourself and how you observe yourself (with compassion and kindness) from within. This is a step towards a radical empowerment that does not require perfection in order for you to recognise you are loveable and have much to offer. It is empowerment based on the acceptance of all that you are.

If you are getting confused about who you are and your motives or actions based on what others are saying or how they are responding to you, step back. In your quest to be a responsible person, you may be unintentionally taking on the feelings of others, making their reflections of you more than they are in truth. More often than not reflections are more about the state of the reflector than what is being reflected. Let those external perceptions go. Can you just acknowledge yourself? Do so and be free!

WHAT IS ALREADY WITH YOU

You hold in your hand that which you seek. In other words, the pair of spectacles you have been rummaging around the house for, are sitting on top of your head. What you are seeking, perhaps by exploring far and wide, is actually right under your nose. You may not like this idea! Of course there is unlimited creative potential and always something more that can be – yet in this instance, it is important for you to know that you already have what you need and what you want.

Acknowledge that everything necessary for success is with you now. All you need do is accept this and act with what you have available to you. Don’t make the mistake of believing that what you need is behind you, lies with another or is yet to appear. You have all that you need to take the next step in your life and from that, all else will flow. You are more ready than you think you are. You are more prepared than you realise.

All that you need in this moment is just one sweet act of nourishment. That is enough to take you out of backwards nostalgia or regret, and forwards into what is awaiting you now. Be brave. Dig deep within. And enjoy the sweet surrender.

AFTER THE STORM

There’s a thunderstorm about. It is either headed your way or just passing through now. Don’t make a thunderstorm mean more than what it is, though. You don’t have to fear it. You might even feel excitement about it. After all, a thunderstorm is just nature’s way of gathering energy together that needs to be released. With a release of tension, relief and freedom soon follow, often with a fresh perspective and perhaps the gift of a promising hopeful vision for your future.

There is, in life and in the creative process, a need to allow for wild storms. Without this building and releasing of energy, we would suffer from boredom and stagnancy. The storm wisdom offers you the gift of bringing things to a head, and clearing them away, so that the energy can be freed from a pattern that has had its day, and is ready to become something new.

Even amongst the chaos of change and in moments of anxiety, know that you have so much light and trust in your heart that you can see the storm is but a passing process, and nothing that need worry. This storm of sorts, is transformational and supportive of your growth. It is going to clear away cobwebs and free you, open you, to new creative energy and life. So let go, hold only to your inner self and allow everything to be cleansed in the sacred storm. Remember, there are no rainbows without a little rain.

Weekly Reading April 25th

Happy glorious Monday! How are you? How was the Full Moon energy of last week for you? This reading was done outside today whilst the rain was falling, but I had a huge brolly (umbrella) and was purging papers and things that no longer served me. Thus, had a roaring fire at my back. Also very fun and cool thing for me – I received a tiara in the mail from an unknown sender – so I wore it and felt regal, calm and blessed!

I’m so glad you are here and I invite you in this moment to drop into your body. Can you feel yourself here? Can you feel your feet on the ground, can you feel your breath coming in and out – is it at chest level, or deeper? If you are open to it, put your hands palms together and place them at your heart centre with gentle pressure on the sternum. Can you feel your heartbeat under your thumbs?

That is your Prana, your life force energy pulsing in you. Release the day for a few moments and breathe past your hands and feel your belly, ribs and chest expand and as you exhale through an open mouth do it with a sigh. Gently feel your shoulders relax and if your jaw is a tad tight place your tongue on the roof of your mouth. Let’s take another breath in and feel that gorgeous oxygen nourishing and charging all of your cells and then sigh it out. One more time – breathe in deep, deep into your little toe and sigh it out.

For the last few weeks I have been using a little prayer when I work with my cards, and if it feels comfie for you, I invite you to try it. “Allow me to see clearly, the solution or guidance that I need. So I no longer need to worry I am doing the wrong thing.”

SOFTLY, SOFTLY, THE TENDER TOUCH

The feminine wisdom of gentleness can assist you now. When we are at a point in life where we want to attain greater things, but don’t necessarily have a proportionally greater supply of energy at our disposal, it is time to work smarter rather than harder. This is the way of feminine wisdom.

The feminine way is not about force. Nor is it about driving, striving, pushing or grabbing at what we can in order to create. It is about inviting what we wish for to come into the space we have provided for it – internally and in our lives. This method cultivates more energy, causes less stress and attracts what is desired. It is manifestation by invitation rather than by will or force.

You don’t need to push quite so hard to receive what is naturally coming to you. Your “push” comes from a place of uncertainty over whether or not you will succeed. You need to relax and have more faith in yourself. All things come in time – rightly and according to a great loving wisdom. Rebel against any voice of fear; within you or around you, that tells you otherwise. You have been working very, very hard. You have learned much and accomplished much but it now time to change your approach. Let go of any force in your approach to creation now. Everything serves a purpose and learning the benefits and limitations of the more forceful way of manifestation through effort and willpower was a useful lesson. You are now beginning to create on a far grander scale that is beyond what an individual can manifest through willpower alone.

DEFEND TO THE END, THE WORTHWHILE

Beneath the lies and illusions, pretty as they seem, you know what is worthwhile. All that is genuinely and truly essential for the heart to throb with life is worthwhile. Anything that dulls it or suffocates its vibrant aliveness, must be questioned, challenged, and more than likely cast aside, for the heart is our key to living an authentic life.

You are a sacred warrior – a defender of the heart. You have cried genuine tears of your own grief and also the grief of the world. You have felt the need to protect the presence of love, for whilst it is exceptionally powerful, it can too easily be smothered under lies and fear.

The sacred warrior is vigilant that the presence of love is not chipped away by fear, criticism, doubt or untruths. The darkness will be intelligent and sneaky. It will tell you that it doesn’t matter, that this one time you can forget what you promised, that you are just one person and that you can’t make difference. The sacred warrior within will fight with love and honour to be true to what has meaning, and never, ever allow it to be cast aside – even if it seems easier in the moment. You’re being asked to stay strong and stand your ground. What is happening, or soon will be happening is worthwhile. So hold tight. Ask for help to heal.

RECEIVING

Energy has been going out of you but there is not enough coming back in. It is time to bring something back in for you.

Do you know how much joy the universe gains from being able to give to you? When you delight in what you receive, when you openly embrace a gift and are so happy with it, the universe is fully received by you. In this space there is joyful communion between you and life, energy flows more freely and magic happens. You are a radiant sun in human clothing. An exquisite life experience is your birthright. Enjoy it! Soak it up. All of it. Including the restoration of sacred rest. Forget your worries for a while. Switch off. Do something else. Let it all go and it will all flow.

Weekly Reading April 18th

Happy Monday delicious lovelies! We have been quite blessed here with unusually warm weather so I am taking advantage of it by taking my work outside and sitting in my gorgeous sanctuary garden.

I love this space, it is designed as a circle and so you sit in the center surrounded by plants, roses, herbs and in the corner there is a gorgeous waterfall that falls into a pond guarded by my lovely gargoyle Grenville. The tulips are all up and gently bobbing their heads as the breeze caresses them or as a butterfly gracefully lands on their fluted petals. The plum tree is in full bloom and the bees re in their glory diving in for the succulent nectar and pollen.

If I sit very quietly small sparrows come darting in and stand on the rocks surrounding the pond and when they think no one is looking they dive in and start splashing around in the water! Should you they happen to catch you looking at them they look a tad askance that I would be so rude as to watch their bathing routine. I can feel my whole body tuning in to the gorgeous performance around me and all my muscles relaxing. Aaaahhhh. So now let’s see who is coming to support you this week and offer you guidance. Ready?

Inspiration

An idea has captured your attention – or will do so very soon. It may be a grand vision or the vague sense of something that could be. You are being encouraged to accept the vision, the idea or the inspiration as it is important to your creative and spiritual growth. The bee is bringing you healing medicine-wisdom from nature to aid the message of the oracle of Inspiration. The bee is a powerful spirit totem. Bees are able to fly with wings that are significantly small in proportion to their heavier bodies. Your idea, even if it seems like a big, substantial plan that might be difficult to “get off the ground” and up and running, can succeed. Visions of Life Beyond Death

Sacred vision is awakening within you. You’re becoming blessed with the ability to truly see. To see what is real rather than what appears to be. This is true insight. What was once considered consequential may soon be found to hold little consequence after all. What was once dismissed as an irritation or irrelevance may be seen to have great spiritual significance. If you have been wondering about your life path or whether you should take action on a project or you need inspiration to really move you out of a slump you have fallen into, then this oracle brings you a message of hope. You will receive your vision. You will be graced with a way out of the stagnancy. You are leaving behind a smaller view for a more expansive one. You are watched over in life and held in protection. Shift your perspective and look at an issue of concern a little differently. Your ability to be inspired and see the light in all things is unfolding. It must be nourished in your heart with loving acceptance because you are going to help others through your vision, your art and how you choose to be in the world.

Restore and Replenish

You are in need of something so much deeper than rest. You need restoration, replenishment and revival. This will not necessarily come from lying about somewhere taking a moment out of your day or evening activities. You are more likely to gain what you need by breaking with your routine completely and doing something different. You need some variety, some spice, some change to bring fresh energy into your body, mind and heart. You need to restore and revive yourself by changing the usual flow of energy through your being. You could stimulate this process by going to a different place, meeting different people and taking different action to what you would usually do. However, it is now time to move, without pushing yourself, beyond what is known, comfortable and familiar. Life is telling you that it is time to put down the paintbrush, the pen, the endless lists and the thinking mind and get into your body. You are in an important transition phase between one level of experience and the next. If you feel as though you are treading water or are in a sort of purgatory – somewhere between your old life and your new life then this especially applies to you. Soon you will have the power and energy you need to reach for the next level – and succeed.

Happy glorious Monday! I have to admit I really like Monday’s – there is a sense of the energy of something new, a whole week to create, transform, make magic and welcome miracles into. On top of it being a gorgeous Monday the weather shifted here so it is has been deliciously warm and I am watching all the tulips reach toward the sun and quiver with the anticipation of opening. I can’t wait to see their delicious colours unfurl.

Like the tulip what are you wanting to open to? What does your heart want, or your soul whisper to you? Envision yourself in gorgeous green glade surrounded by trees that are leafing out in their brilliant new coats of Spring green. The air is fresh and you take a deep breath breathing it all the way down to your gorgeous wiggly toes that are warm in the cool grass. You feel your rib cage expand as you take another deep breath in and as you release it your spine lengthens and you feel strong, grounded and present. As you slightly arch your upper back and neck to gaze at the glorious canopy above you take another deep breath and your gorgeous heart opens and beam out into the space around you. An impish smile teases your lips as you say YES to your heart, YES to you and you pick a card to support you.

So are you ready to see what your heart is asking for?

Beyond The Mind, The Heart Beats

In the chaos of modern life and constant fluctuations of our minds, it can be difficult to remember that a sublime sanctuary lies within. Yet it is always there. Within that sanctuary, sacred sound is felt rather than heard. That sacred sound is actually the reverberating heartbeat of the entire universe. Your own heart’s rhythm sounds within the greater universal heartbeat. Your love for life, the need to feel alive and express yourself, and the quest for that which is truly fulfilling….these are the sacred urges that rebel against fear and promote passion for being alive, they flow through your blood and can be felt through the beating of your heart. There is the way of the mind which can make mountains out of molehills. Then there is the way of the heart. The heart moves subtly beneath possible obstacles, intelligently shifting with exquisite sensitivity, sensing the way forward. We must feel and respond rather than plan our way. It is a different way to live and create. You are being asked to trust your heart, and to drop into it. Deep within, you know what to do and you know what is true. It matters not whether the mind and its plans seem to agree with your inner sense. Your willingness to trust your heart and to rebel against fear will serve you well. Let your heart lead you. Be sure of your faith and trust in what you feel.

The Word Wants To Be Written

You might have been taught that creativity is something you have to work hard to access, or that finding your life purpose is so difficult that you must search high and low for it. Yet what you are is within you and wants to come out at every available opportunity! You don’t have to struggle so much. What you are dreaming of or seeking to do, create, live or manifest, is actually very natural for you. That is why you want to do it. The sacred rebel within can empower you to love yourself no matter what, simply because you want to. What you want to write, sing, dance or become, is you. It is natural. Drop your defences, get into the grit and confront the power that any old shaming has had over you. It’s finished now. It is time for you to be naked with yourself, acknowledge how gorgeous you are and get on with your work. Life is urging you to do so, because the work wants to happen. What you want to create, wants to be created. The word wants to be written. You just need to let go of any remnants of the past that have been your way. Step firmly over them and on to your path!

Relax The Hold of Darkness And Be At Cause

Dear Sacred rebel, this moment in your life requires great courage. Fortunately you possess that in buckets loads. You are being asked to allow yourself to be lifted out of one level of known reality and into the next level of higher voltage reality. Higher voltage reality requires a more absolute trust and a heart that is surrendered into the greater heart of the universe, so that life can happen to us, through us and with us, more quickly and according to bold, loving optimism. This is reality not only of potential, but of manifestation of the great, big, cosmic YES! To access this reality, you have to leap from known waters and others may think you are crazy for doing so. You have to leave behind the dark weighty grip of hesitation, procrastination, second guessing and the belief you have to do everything on your own. How will you function with the hazy, sleep-inducing paralysis of playing it safe, taking too long and placing lesser priorities above your sacred art of life? When you are in the hold of darkness, you will feel pushed to turn away, to imagine it is all too much, and to create excuses about how your desires aren’t grounded enough, that you are being too flight or flaky. That is fear talking, not truth. All of nature, including you and your passions and dreams, will be what is needed, when it is needed, and how it is needed, according to wisdom. We just have to trust in this, within ourselves and within nature herself through the flow of life. And participate! You are asked to go within and imagine diving deep off the edge of what you have known. There is so much more calling to you now. It’s your time. Leap!!!!

Weekly Reading April 4th

Spring is definitely here, as after a gorgeous weekend of sun, sun and more sun – it’s raining. That’s okay though as it is feeding and nourishing all the lovely new plants that are slowly moving out of their dormant state and pushing themselves up and out, it’s also encouraging the buds to get nice and plumpcious before they burst out with their colourful glory.

So delicious lovely as with the plants and the blossoms take a moment to rest, to pause, to just be in your body. Feel the glorious golden energy circulating up from the earth – grounding you. Feel it move up through your legs, into your torso, seeping into your arms and flooding up through your throat and neck and gently caressing its’ way through your head and out your scalp in a gorgeous stream and connecting you to the Universe/Divine.

Ready? Ask a question, ask for guidance or just trust that your higher power will pick exactly what you need for this week.

VISIONS OF LIFE BEYOND DEATH

CONSCIOUS CONNECTIONS

There is a call for more intimacy in your immediate relationships. There is an opening for heart to heart communication that can salvage and restore a broken relationship or friendship, if you are willing to honour your differences and look to what unites you. We are not here to judge each other, just to love, to be loved, and to let go of those that cannot accept us as we open up to those who can. It may or may not be obvious at first but kindred spirits are going to enter your life to help you connect with your deeper feelings and creativity. They will give wings to your inspirational ideas and big dreams. Sometimes webs that have joined people together are broken and that is appropriate as people may outgrow what once held them together. Remain open to healing connections and to allow people to be close to your. Trust in the process that draws people in and out of your life. Resist nothing and seek wisdom in all.

RECEIVING

You are so loved. Your every need is witnessed and responded to by the universe. However, you sometimes forget this. You become swept up in the momentum of habitual consciousness, and you forget to take a moment to stop, breathe and be. In that moment you can receive the love of the universe that is receiving you. It will nourish you with contentment and energy. You have not done this enough so your soul is parched and drying out. Energy has been going out of you but there is not enough coming back in. Again, a gorgeous story unfolds. I find it interesting that the gorgeous Visions of Life Beyond Death has joined us again, this has been every week now so someone really needs to hear it. But look at the story – you are being blessed with the ability to truly see and with that create conscious connections and then allow yourself to receive the love, the nourishment and the joy.
