Let’s All Take a Breath, and Bring in the 11:11 Portal Energy of this day.

Happy Mystified, Magickal, Manifesting, Memorial Monday!

This will be a shorter than normal post as I want to attend a Remembrance Day service, so let’s crack on shall we?

Well to say it’s been a heck of a week globally would be an understatement, wouldn’t it?

I have been hearing from many of you the shock that you have been feeling, anger, disbelief and the grief, as that’s what it is.

I’ve also been seeing a lot of attacking posts, divisive posts and blame posts – understandable in a way, but it isn’t going to help us as a collective to move forward and through this challenging time.

Today is Remembrance Day, also known as Armistice Day. It marks the day World War One ended at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918! 106 years ago!!!

And I do wear a Poppy, I always wear a Poppy at this time. Why?

The Poppy to me is a symbol of Remembering those who bravely went to fight for our freedoms and well being.

It is also a symbol of Hope, hope for our troops that are still deployed all over the world and Hope for a time of Peace.

Personally, I think it is important to focus on those types of events, the ones that inspire Hope and Peace, and don’t get me wrong, there are all sorts of horrendous wars being waged all over the world. But drop back into that space of Armistice, Hope and Peace – it is sooooo possible on every level in this world (at least that is my belief).

Thus on Remembrance day we have the potent energy of 11:11. Great Jen, what does that mean for me (you may be asking)?

This day holds the number code of 1111, which is a power number in astrology and also an angel number.

If there is something you want to manifest or a wish you want to make, this is the day to set your intentions!

1111 heightens our ability to create and to leave an imprint on the tapestry that is all of life. It also indicates that we are in complete harmony and alignment with all of nature.

From this state of alignment, it becomes easier for us to feel grounded and connected to our life here on Earth, but also to the magic and wisdom of higher realms.

Close your eyes and remember the last time that you set an intention. Did you feel doubtful that your wish would come true, or did you have faith that the universe was listening, ready to help you bring your vision to life?

11/11 is one of the most powerful days of the year for manifestation – a day when we’re reminded that our guides are always with us, supporting us on the path to our deepest dreams.

There’s a reason why we’re told to make a wish whenever we see 11:11 on the clock. 11 is a master number, and its frequency speeds up manifestation, opening up channels through which angelic beings can send their wisdom and support.

“The number 11 grants us access to the 5th dimension, where the constraints of time and space do not exist. On 11/11, we experience 5D energy in the form of synchronicity, alignment, and acceleration. You might experience that “right place, right time” feeling – the reassurance that you’re on the right path, and everything you’re seeking is seeking you in return.”

The Law of Attraction, based on the Hermetic Principles, teaches us that everything we manifest is created by thought: Where your attention goes, energy flows. Every second, you’re thinking things into existence – so on this day, pay attention to where your thoughts tend to wander.

Are you focused on bright and positive outcomes, or are you subconsciously manifesting your worries and fears?

Work with the energy of 11/11 to positively channel your thoughts in service of your highest path. I recommend meditating at 11:11 am or 11:11 pm to best harness the magic.

Set aside 11 minutes to close your eyes and go within, visualizing what you desire and how it would feel if you’d already received it. Yes?

Another simple way to harness this energy is to free flow and write for 11 minutes about all your heart’s desires and intentions. At the end of the 11 minutes, go back and highlight the words that inspire you, make you feel hopeful, excited and then formulate them into an intention.

If you wanted to go a step further you could make a sacred Sigil!

And if you want to ramp it up a bit more, use the fabulous phrase that can really Unfuck you!

Ready? Super simple, but super powerful when faced with confusion, stagnation and all the rest of that dross.

The phrase is “AM I WILLING?” e.g:- Am I willing to do the work to make a change? Am I willing to turn my anger and grief towards something constructive? Am I willing to get off the sofa and go to the gym to lose weight? Am I willing to release those relationships that drain me? AM I FUCKING WILLING TO MAKE CHANGE?

If you can’t come up with anything to put on your AM I WILLING list. Turn it around and ask yourself the same question in a different way: “WHAT AM I NOT WILLING TO DO OR PUT UP WITH?” e.g:- I am not willing to put up with this abusive relationship. I am not willing to continually struggle. I am not willing to be continually dismissed. I am not willing to feel unhealthy………..

Are you getting it now? Dare you to give it a try, it’s quite fascinating to play with, write down and it most certainly unravels those threads that can make you feel like you are tied up in a knot and disempowered (that’s what Fear does to us).

Okay enough chuntering, let’s see what guidance wants to talk to you this week.

Take a deep breath gorgeous one, relax the jaw and allow the spark of Hope come into your heart. Breathe it in and ask it to help you.

Control. No woman alive today needs a dictionary to know what control means within a toxic patriarchy.

She’s experienced it a thousand different ways before she’s hit puberty. It’s alive in the curves of her psyche, in the expanse of her hips, in the marrow of her bones.

It is domination and restraint.

But in a blanched psyche and in a balanced culture, control can mean something else entirely..

A WITCH experiences control through cooperation rather than competition. She engages with all the parts of her psyche in an attempt to coordinate rather than dominate.

Right now, right this minute, please embrace all the inhabitants of your inner realm, because each deserves respect and a place at the table. Even the unruly, the inconvenient, the ugly.

Making space for all under the banner of wild inclusion and giving voice to the shame, malice and anger, as well as every other outlawed part of the psyche, is the way we create integrity, ensuring that no part of our inner realm is involved with factions, divisions or rebellions.

When your intent is to create rather than compete, you don’t have to dominate.

Your influence is enough.

This is power with rather than power over.

Invite in all the pieces of yourself, all the things that are bothering you today and wrap them in the blanket of inclusion and assert your authority.

HARPY OF RAGE

Rage can be purifying.

Like the harpies of Homeric poems, rage can bring the storm winds that scour and wipe a landscape clean.

While this may seem a destructive force on the surface, rage, like the harpies, can bring change and shift landscapes both internal and external.

Quiet or loud, a wild howl or a hiss in the dark, anger is both purposeful and natural, so stop bottling it and shoving it away in order to be pleasing.

So much more powerful to gather your rage. Rather than shrieking into the wind where passion can be swallowed, you will find your branch, and settle into a position of power.

Using your authority, you will choose your time, and cry out your claim.

Offer your anger to your art, your cause, your community, resulting in a rallying song of change.

A W.I.T.CH pours her rage into her creativity, advocacy and commitment.

She’s also willing to peck out and devour rage against her own self through the radical wings of self-forgiveness.

THE PREDATOR

You know the voice of the psyche that wants you to comply or conform in order to fit in, or shames you for being selfish, or tells you it’s honourable and responsible to deny your longing, demanding you fold your dreams away into a people-serving-shaped box?

It’s a predator you adopted as family.

The voice condemning and convincing you that following your desires will hurt other people?

It’s inside you. The call is coming from inside the house!

That predator is an unholy inquisitor.

He might have first showed up outside of you in your original home, church or school, and most certainly in our culture as a whole. But he is now alive as the inner patriarchy.

It’s the force that wants to control you in order to keep you small and unthreatening. It’s moved into the psyche, as it does generation after generation, if left unquestioned.

A W.I.TC.H knows it’s purposeful to speak truth to power, to stand up and march for justice, fairness and decency.

But she is also determined to march on behalf of the girl inside of her living with a monster.

She is willing to take to the inner streets to clean up the injustice of bullying thoughts, blaming self-talk, and name calling.

She speaks up for fairness when the internal predatory voice demands she please everyone else before herself.

She embodies fierce decency when her dreams or hungers or passions are shamed and belittled from within.

It is time to take a stand against the unholy inquisition of the psyche, and develop the tools to defeat the toxic patriarchy living there.

You deserve nothing less.

Time Warp, Flowers and Eclipse Season Cometh!

Happy, happy Magickal, Miraculous, Magnificent, Musical, Majestic, Mighty Monday!

How are you most delicious lovely? Has Spring sprung where you are? It certainly has here and there are flowers galore and everything is bedecked in vivid shades of green. I love it!

When I head out first thing in the morning with Danu and we go for a yomp and an exploration you can often see me come to a screeching halt as I pick up a gorgeous scent wafting on the breeze. Then there’s a look around and when the glorious blossom has been found I bury my face in it! (Yes, it’s like being the crazy Flower Lady).

So the other week I thought to myself, every day the flowers are changing and new ones are coming out – will I remember when they bloomed and what they were in the dark of Winter? Probably not. So to track all the bounty that Mumma Nature gifts us daily, I built a huge flower press! So now when I’m out and see a new wildflower I pick one or two, bring them home, pop them in the press and write down the date. Then come November, December, when it’s candle making time, the flowers can be added to the beeswax.

Think about it, It’s like creating a calendar of flowers, and it’s so much fun! It also makes me more aware and present to the moment I’m experiencing and all the beauty around me. Highly suggest it!

So let me ask you a question. How are you experiencing time lately?

I have had so many, many conversations over the last couple of weeks with people who are saying that time is doing a weird warp for them. I’m not talking about “Time Warp” from the Rocky Horror picture show, by the way.

Now what do I mean by time is warped?

That sense that something you did say a week ago was actually months and months ago. Or the sense that something you did months ago was yesterday. It’s most peculiar and quite a few of you have expressed dis-ease and panic about it.

Don’t panic sweetie, ground, breathe and step more into a witness mindset than a judging one. May is a pivotal month in 2021 with a Blood Moon Eclipse, Mercury retrograde, Saturn retrograde and Jupiter into Pisces for the first time in 12 years. Whoot!!!

So this coming Full Moon on May 26th welcomes in the Blood Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius. Lunar eclipses tend to be highly emotional, so we may have a hard time being objective and logical, and instead jump to action without thinking things through or respecting others. When riled up, take some moments to calm down before rushing into anything.

“Eclipses, especially a Blood Moon Eclipse, can often be intense, and bring sudden endings or disruption to our lives. They can also stir out emotions and make us feel extra sensitive.

We have not experienced a Blood Moon Eclipse since 2019, so it’s likely that we are going to feel this energy strongly. This Eclipse is also linked to a cycle we have been working with since early 2020 so there are many layers to navigate with it too.

While Eclipses can be potent, they do help us to level up and take a quantum leap forward on our path. Whatever falls away, as hard as it may be, is always a catalyst for our soul growth even if it doesn’t feel like it at the time.”

So my sweetie, buckle up, ground and breath through the chaos both external and internal. Yes? Also, ignore the news for a while, it certainly isn’t helping with the chaos feeling.

Okay, enough chuntering let’s crack on with the reading. So when I went to the cards and asked who wanted to come and guide this week and share their wisdom I laughed my soxs off when The Divine Circus Oracle jumped off the shelf!

Now if these guides are new to you please let me introduce you (as it’s exceptionally rude not too). “What is life if not a Divine Circus? Thus, I invite you to breathe and just BE with your gorgeous self here in this moment. Take a few lovely, rich, nourishing breaths and let the cares of the moment slide off like wee little raindrops. Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that call to you.

THE GOOD GEISHA

You are clever. You know how to play an impressive game of strategy to win approval and gain allies. Even without always noticing it consciously, you can sense what people want. Sometimes you are so good at showing others what they want to see that you forget how beautiful you are when you are just being you. Make sure you start by giving it to yourself, then you can share it with others and receive it from others too.

GYPSY COLOMBINE

The jungle of life is a vibrant, colourful and exciting place, but not everyone is ready to live there as yet. That is just the way of things sometimes.

It’s now time to let yourself off the hook, to forgive and forget, to allow what’s been to have been and to start again. No regrets. No fear. No doubt. It’s time to heed the call of the wild and ask yourself, “What would set my spirit free?”

When Spring is Reluctant, Mercury is still in Retrograde and Your Intentions get Eaten! – April 9th Reading

Happy magnificent, marvelous Monday! It’s good to be back. How was your Easter? Did a large wascally wabbit come and poop little chocolate eggs everywhere? Our Easter was fabulous as guess what? We had two days of sun and nice weather in a row!!! (I know, sad but true). So a lot of time was spent playing outside, waking up the garden and just getting everything freshened up. We had a glorious egg hunt through the woods and bushes, and our wascally wabbit hid eggs in the bark of the trees, under shrubs, peeking out from rocks – quite inventive if I say so myself. Good thing we did our egg hunt on the Saturday as Sunday brought 8” of snow! (It was nearly enough to make me want to crawl back into bed and stay there until the real Spring arrived). Ah well, can’t do anything about it.

My friend and I collaborated and co-created Easter dinner for friends, family and waifs and strays, so I think there were about 20 odd of us which always makes for great conversations and interesting dynamics. We also played a fabulous game called “Telestrations”, I highly, highly suggest it but the caveat is it’s not really appropriate for small people to play. It can be a bit edgy, kind of like Cards against Humanity. But it’s great fun!!

On Equinox I did my ritual of writing on little strips of paper things that I would like more of in my life and then I popped them into 12 peat pots, covered them with dirt and planted all sorts of herb seeds in them. Well with the lack of sun (as Spring is being reluctant in showing herself), I noticed they were a bit straggly, so I moved them to a different window and lower down. About an hour later I walked back into the living room to see that one pot was missing, there was a small pile of dirt on the carpet and Legolas (my large white Akbash) was licking his lips with dirt hanging from his jowls! The bugger had eaten one of my intentions! So I don’t know if that means he is spreading my intention out into the world or that that intention was just too delicious not to share! Bloody dog!

Okay, enough about twisted games, pooping bunnies and intention eating dogs, let’s get on with the reading. The deck that came out loud and proud this week is “The Divine Circus Oracle” and if this is your first time coming to this wonderful deck, let me give you the dedication. “This deck is for those who find it hard to follow rules, conform, bend to authority and generally “do what they are told”. May your rebel heart always be bold. May your spirit always be free. May you remember to live the Divine Circus and have fun doing things the way you aren’t supposed to, whilst living your most creative and unique divine destiny.” Ahhhhh, doesn’t that just sound delightfully delicious? The crystals that literally threw themselves out of the bowl to come play are:- Ruby Zoisite – great for transmuting negative energy into positive. Snowflake Obsidian – a stone of purity and brings about a balance to body, mind and spirit. Last but not least, Citrine – highly protective and enhances optimism. These are then all topped of with of a Selenite wand for amplification.

I have created an “interesting” visualisation for you that involves some travelling, but don’t fret you won’t need your passport. However, if you don’t feel the need just take a few moments to slow your breathing down and get centred in yourself and then pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

RARE, RAW, REAL

There is a unique beauty in you that wants to shine through. It is different. It might not be pretty, neat and tidy, and you might even feel vulnerable about sharing this real, unveiled you with the world…do it anyway because the world wants to love you. The rare, raw and real you.

It’s time to peel back the layers and unearth the real you – naked, vulnerable, real, beautiful. With every layer of hiding and protection removed, you’ll encounter whatever it was that caused that layer of self protection to be built up in the first place – maybe a sense of shame, fear, hate, anger or doubt. Affirm your love for yourself, and a willingness to be patient whilst you become ready to be known and seen and loved for who you are underneath those layers of pain, then you’ll find it easier to let them fall away. As this happens there will be a revelation of a raw, rare and real you that you didn’t even know was there – so pure so powerful, so precious. The inner light of you will shine through, like a lantern suddenly illuminated, with the radiance of you lighting up the dark.

In being brave enough to do this, you help empower others to be their true selves as well, to be less afraid of what makes them different, to embrace their uniqueness and feel the divine dignity that is rightfully ours when we choose to simply be who we are.

DUKE OF SHADOWS

Cunningly clever am I, helping you discern the truth from the lie. I remind you that half truths may seem to be whole, yet in the shadows is information yet to be known. When the time is right, the light shall be bright, and confusion will give way to understanding.

You are being invited to be patient. This is a cautionary card, not to inspire concern, but rather to inspire curiosity. There is more to a situation, person, opportunity, or even an apparent absence of activity or success, than meets the eye. You could imagine it being like the universe has another card up its sleeve and is yet to show its full hand. A process has been set in motion but is “under the radar” of your awareness. Something is happening, even if that doesn’t appear to be the case. But just like a seed starts to grow into a plant, deep in the earth, apparently invisible and yet very real, you are being subjected to invisible but real forces of growth and healing at this time.

Because you cannot know what you don’t know, you will need to wait for more information to come to you. So if what you see, sense or feel is negative right now, don’t believe it! Things are going to shift and change and there will be a surprising twist in your life. Though you don’t see it coming, another piece of your life puzzle is going to reveal itself soon. It will help solve a difficulty or question you have been holding in your heart.

SECRET OF SHINOBI

Shhhhhh! Can you keep a secret? It’s time to play your cards close to your chest. Soon enough, you’ll be ready to stand upon the mountain top for all to see and hear. For now, let things unfold in the guarded privacy of your inner world. When the time is right to be seen in the light, you’ll know what is true and what to do. Until then, be patient, be private, be committed and wait for the right time to shine.

Sometimes being less visible, less transparent, less “seen” for a time is helpful. It doesn’t mean being dishonest or deceptive, but it does mean keeping your intentions and your truths to yourself until you see the best way to attain your goals. In fact, the best way to attain your goals might be more of the “iron fist in velvet glove” approach. You might find that gentle persuasion works far better than direct confrontation, which can unintentionally inflame a situation and trigger defensive reactions in others instead of finding a way to bring resolution.

When it is time to show your hand, to reveal your intentions and speak more openly and publicly about what has been gestating, you’ll know it; but for now, let things come together away from prying eyes. Just for now, it’s time to keep a secret.

Wow, that was quite amazing, they are all to do with patience, trusting and being willing. (Have I said how much I love my cards?) How did your pick resonate for you? To me these cards are quite “Spring” like in the way that we plant a seed and we have to be patient and not go digging it up to see if it’s growing. Trust. Such a small word and one that can be very hard to do sometimes. So my gorgeous one, I wish you a glorious week filled with patience, inner knowing and of course huge, huge belly laughs! Oh yes, and is it just me that thinks Ruby Zoisite would make a great band name?

Phew February is here and there’s lots to celebrate! – Weekly Reading February 5th.

Happy glorious magnificent Monday!! How was the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse for you? I have heard from quite a few of you that you experienced big releases, which is awesome. I took some time that day for ritual and then spell casting in the evening (yes I did say spell casting). It was a glorious spell for Joy activation that is best performed under the Full Moon, so I most certainly did it and it felt marvelous (and my home smelled divine). I also took all my crystals outside to get a divine moon bath and the next day when I went to retrieve them all they were buried under 5 inches of snow! Thus, they gave me a very frosty reception (get it) – snort, chortle, chortle.

I am so glad that February is here! I find February one of those delicious months of dichotomy. It’s a month where we often experience the coldest night of the year, but it is also a month with Imbolc, Chinese New Year and Valentines. Thus, many glorious reasons to celebrate (if you had to have a reason that is). I love Imbolc as it’s a celebration that honours the increasing light and all things to do with home and hearth. So sometime during the month I take time to do a ritual about the energetic cleansing of the spirit of home and hearth and it really seems to align the energy of my home with those glorious energies of nurture, expansion and growth. February also feels like a month of hope as just around the corner is Spring Equinox. So when I gaze out on mounds and mounds of snow and grey low clouds, instead of wanting to crawl back into bed there is a knowing that soon there will be snowdrops pushing up at the base of the trees and everything starting to come into leaf. This is when I dig out all my gardening magasines and dream of what I’m going to plant and where, what is the feel that I want my sacred space to have and all those lovely things. If you remember the theme for January was Evaluation and Action. The theme for this month is UNFOLDING (see doesn’t that even make you think of flowers and plants?) Now what is meant by UNFOLDING – This month we examine our relationship with time, with impatience, with the masculine willful part of ourselves that always wants to push things through and make things happen, our addiction to stress and drama, and our fear of not being and doing enough. Whew!

So let’s crack on shall we? The deck that literally hurled itself at me is The Oracle of the Faery Forest, which is so gosh darn appropriate as it’s dedication is “May the wild green world and the wondrous beings of this Faery Forest heal us, inspire us and urge us all to become more who we truly are meant to be…..” Which in turn ties in with the theme UNFOLDING. The crystals that came to play are Aquamarine, Picture Jasper and Howlite, with of course Selenite as a purifier and amplifier.

Thus, take a moment and get really centred in yourself. Breathe out a long deep breath through your mouth and then breathe in through your nose. Happy wonderful Monday delicious lovely and welcome to Fall! Yes it’s here (unless you live wayyyy South and then it’s Spring!) I have to admit my two most favourite seasons of the year are Spring and Fall, the colours, the smells and the energy that each season brings. I noticed when I went into the woods today, some of the leaves are starting to gild themselves with gold and orange, the squirrels are most certainly getting cheekier with their gather and hoard and there was the very first V of Canada Geese flying overhead.

Whether we like it or not things change and are cyclical, so it’s about how to use that energy for your best and highest good. Personally, I have been getting outside as much as possible and harvesting fruit and veggies like a machine! Soon it’s time to dry all the wonderful herbs from the garden for winter and make gorgeous bundles of lavender that get tucked in the boys sox drawers when they aren’t looking (as they can often have stinky soxs!) This weekend we had a glorious time of celebrating birthdays and Mabon, it was fabulous as well as some gorgeous hikes into the deep woods and rock hopping through the babbling creeks. (The hounds were in piggy heaven to say the least). One of the things I love about celebrating Mabon is it is an incredible time to release so I gave myself the gift of time and sat and wrote down everything I do not want in my life. I know that sounds negative but it actually isn’t, if we really know what we don’t want then it is so much easier to flip it and know what we do want. Which is exactly what I did. So now I have a very succinct list of the habits, the ways of being, living and moving in this world that I really value and appreciate. Try it, it’s pretty fun.

I received a new Oracle deck last week and in usual style she has been cleansed, blessed, consecrated and given a mission and I was thrilled to see her jump off the shelf today and most appropriate too I think. She is The Faery Forest, An Oracle of the Wild Green World. She is filled with lovely characters who want to guide, support, kick your arse and help. When I went to ask which crystals wanted to come play a delicate whisper from outside told me I was looking in the wrong place. What? When I went out to the garden the fruits and veggies called out loud and proud, as after all Mabon is the second harvest festival, the festival of fruits. Ergo, we have fruits and veggies that insisted on coming to play. A couple of deep, deep purple plums, an apple from a tree I planted last year and gorgeous little bumblebee tomatoes. What can I say?

So let’s just rest and pause for a moment. As you gently slow your breathing down I invite you to think about all the glorious moments, thoughts and things that you have harvested in the last while and all the ones that are coming to you. On your next exhale just release, release and relax. Breathe in your golden harvest and breathe out the release. That’s it. Keep breathing and when you are ready open your eyes and pick the card or cards that resonate for you.
