March is Here, Spring Equinox is coming, White Rabbits, and it’s a time for Discernment – Wowzer!

Happy, Happy Magickal, Marvelous, Magnificent, Merry, Manifesting March Monday! Whoot! Whoot! March is here and I am thrilled (trust me if you could see the happy dance I am doing you would laugh your soxs off).

Why am I so pumped about March – because Spring Equinox is almost here!!! Now you may be shaking your head and thinking – yeah, so what Jenn. Oh little one, Spring Equinox is a huge energetic time as it’s the time of Birth. The Birth of ideas, goals, desires and dreams – it is positively delicious and in honour of this time since Yule I have been working on two glorious offerings for you to really make this year so deliciously different, powerful, full of glorious magick and manifestation and really supporting and empowering you. But more on that soon. If you want to be kept up to date on what is transpiring and all the changes that are coming from this end do make sure you are part of our glorious email community.

On Saturday I really felt I needed a “reset” energetically, mentally, physically and spiritually so I grabbed a glorious friend and we went and hiked, forest bathed and explored a glorious new beach, waterfalls and had a wicnic! Ahhhh, I could feel the tendrils of “shoulds” melt away amidst the old moss covered trees, the “I can’t energy” drop into the moss, and any “judgements of self or others” get washed down the waterfall and offered to the sea. By the time I got home I was refreshed, rejuvenated, reset and replenished and also physically bagged so I tucked myself up in bed earlyish with a glorious witchy book.

Thus, yesterday morning the minute my eyes opened at 6am I started hollering White Rabbits! The poor dog bolted up and looked at me with confusion lol. However, I have been saying White Rabbits on the first of March ever since I was wee, but why, where did it come from? When I first asked that question of myself, my response was, because my Great Aunties told me to!

However, I did a little digging as to where the saying comes from and actually saying White Rabbits on the first of March (and apparently for most months) brings great luck. In fact, “White rabbits, white rabbits’ was written in the ‘Notes and Queries’ book from 1909.The word must be spoken aloud, and be the first word said in the month to bring great luck. It also was a common belief among RAF bomber aircrew during WW2 that saying “white rabbits” the very first thing upon waking would protect oneself.” Don’t you just love finding out where traditions have come from? I do.

With March coming in like a lamb (at least it certainly did here) the Energy has shifted. If you remember in January the shamanic energetic theme was IF NOT NOW, WHEN? February, the was MANAGEMENT and for March………drum roll please. The theme we are being invited to play with and embrace is DISCERNMENT. Now what does this mean?

The best person to explain it is Lena: “What is discernment? Discernment is the ability to use good judgment regarding choices, decisions, boundaries, actions, intentions, ideas, commitments, other people, your intuition, thoughts, emotions, and self-reflection.

Good judgment comes from self-observation and deep reflection on what is your truth as opposed to what others want or think. March is a month to examine the motivation behind all your actions, reactions, intentions, habits and patterns. Discernment is refining how you manage what is on your plate by setting boundaries around what you wish to keep as well as what you have cut loose, always from a place of pro-action instead of reaction.” You can read more of what the amazing Lena has to share here.

Now this is interesting as within many religious formats we are in the time of Lent, so where are we being discerning in these 40 days? Is it with the food we put in our bodies, the way we use our time, how we use our smartphones, our self care (or lack of it) and a myriad of other things. So there’s something to perk for you delicious one.

Okay, enough chuntering on let’s crack on with the reading. When I went to the cards and asked who wanted to come support and guide this week I was intrigued to see The Isis Oracle were adamant.

Have you ever asked who Isis is? Goddess of the Skies, Magick and Wisdom are just a few of the titles she is given. The crystals that wiggled and jiggled are like gorgeous little robin eggs! I clapped my hands in delight when I saw who wanted to come play. The ones that wanted to show and shine are:- Chrysocolla, Sodalite, Blood Stone.

Okay, roll your shoulders up back and down and just gently settle for a few minutes. Allow your breathing to gently slow itself down and as you wiggle and move your rib cage, feel your arse bones either sitting on a seat, or pointed down to the earth. I invite you to see in your mind’s eye a waterfall, strong, soothing and welcoming you to release any “sticky” bits into the water. SPIRIT OF ISIS

Triumph of the Goddess

Beloved Initiate, there are times to surrender and let go, but there are never times to give up! Persist with your bold faith and inspired action until the impossible happens. Isis has the spirit of triumph and will never fail in Her quest no matter how bold or impossible it seems. Believe.

It is helpful on the inner path to let go and detach over and over again and yet we need to stay true to our heart and not give up on what we feel we are here to do. Whether it is reaching for enlightenment, for inner peace, for a creative breakthrough or personal healing, the triumph of the Goddess is with you now uring you not to give up, no matter how far away or impossible success may seem to be. Don’t quit! Persist until the impossible happens!

You are being reminded that you can surrender, let go of attachment as to how everything will happen or what it will look like, even if it is frustrating to surrender the vision into the Divine Fires yet again, waiting until you feel it naturally coming together according to Divine Timing.

The Spirit of Isis is willing to wait until Divine Forces collide and the miracle occurs. Remember, beloved Initiate, that the forces of growth, love and divinity are in your corner. There is nothing more powerful than these. Allow them to have their way and you will have yours. Your win is assured.

Isis – Endless Emanations of the Priestess

Isis with many names, forms, associations and expressions is referred to as the Goddess of Ten Thousand Names. A name holds power. It defines and energises or limits. The names, faces, and roles that you play are just one part of your being, yet you exist beyond them, beloved Initiate, as a vast being.

You are currently realising that you are not limited by previous identities you held. Instead you are becoming more of your whole Self. Enjoy the uncovering of even more of you!

Just like the Lady Isis, you are a multi-faceted, multi-dimensional being. It is most helpful at this phase in your path that you learn not to attach to roles or identities that may have once held great importance for you or others relating to you. It does not mean that you must cease to relate to that name or role, more that you are realising it is only a part of you and there is even more of you wishing to express itself now.

It can be tricky to avoid getting stuck in roles that others prescribe for you or expect of you, and yet your self-definition will become wider and your experience of yourself will be more real and fulfilling if you are open to discovering more of you, beyond the person you have considered yourself to be up until now. This can be exhilarating and terrifying! However, there is a new, more whole, fulfilling and truthful sense of identity awaiting you. Any fear or struggle that you go through to allow this to happen, beloved, will be spiritually repaid to you multiplied, in so many ways.

There is nothing to lose except old limitations and so much wonder and joy to be gained!

Community of the Spiritual Sisters and Brothers of the Light

In community that is based in equality, respect, healthy boundaries and personal freedom, with a mutual desire for spiritual growth and honouring of innate wisdom, great miracles occur. You are part of this community of light. At one time it existed only in the spiritual worlds, yet now it is being born on the Earth. It is part of your destiny to help create and nurture a conscious community that empowers all of its members and is based in truth.

You are guided to allow the Beloved Isis to help you now through community. There can be strength in numbers. Community can help you gain the added power of group effort to rise above the old patterns and lift each other into the new patterns that are so much more real and beautiful. In unity with the Divine in each other, we grow and become capable of such wonders!

You are wise and grounded enough within yourself not to lose yourself in a group, and instead to help a group become a community of honouring individuals. Your leadership by example is important as groups can sometimes descend to the lowest energetic vibration if the members fall into their egos rather than staying in their hearts.

If you have found that you have guidance to build community yourself, and are feeling a little overwhelmed at the thought, stay calm and stay in heart. Allow yourself to collaborate with others, and work in smaller groups in connection with each other as a way to build community together. It will happen naturally. The Divine Sisterhood will guide you if you ask for their assistance with unconditional love.

New Moon in Pisces the last one of the Astrological Cycle and Pancake Tuesday!

Happy Magickal, Mystical, Musical, Merry, Mischievous, Mercurial, Manifesting Monday! So do tell, how are you doing with this delicious Mercury Retrograde?

I’ve had an interesting week of unwanted (and unasked for) opinions from people I don’t even know that have been glorious opportunities for growth (she says with clenched teeth!) As well as time acting very strange. In fact, time was acting so strangely that I had to double and triple check appointments etc. As this weekend I seemed to have misplaced a whole day! (Most bizarre and discombobulating!) Gotta love how liminal time works.

However, this week we have had glorious sunshine which made me so happy after the horizontal, torrential rain we had for weeks. And as I was yomping with Danu my heart soared as the cherry blossoms were out everywhere! It’s like walking through a delicate Japanese painting, which made me realise that without all the rain we have had – these delicate flowers wouldn’t be out yet. So there is always a positive! Oh yes and there are wild daffs popping out all over the place, gently opening their lovely yellow flutes and glowing in the sun. Spring is coming!

Thank you so much to all of you who reached out about how to drop a grounding cord. It was a delight to help and share with you a recording on how to do it, and your feedback made me grin as you shared where you were when dropping your cord! The public bathroom at a hockey game was the best! It will most certainly help in these glorious energetic times for sure!

Okay, yesterday a glorious New Moon arrived, and if you remember – the New Moon sets the energy for the month and the fact it is in Mercury Retrograde is even more delicious! This New Moon is in Pisces which is the last of the zodiac signs, so we are coming to the end of a year long journey. Thus, this is the last of the lunar cycle before a new astrological year begins.

Well, that’s great Jenn – you may be saying. But what does it mean?

Pisces is watery, and water is the emotional, the divine feminine. It creates a feeling of a liminal place betwixt and between. Where we float on the edge of dreams, aware of subtle energies, magical beings and ghosts of the past and future.

Under this energy, we are being encouraged to reflect, to dive deep into our being, and to think about what we wish to bring into our lives as this new cycle begins. However, as we do this, as Lena shares; “This New Moon can have the potential to scout out old fears, regrets, disappointments, anger, feelings of betrayal and loss, shame and other emotional debris. Don’t wallow in them. These emotions are up because it is time to clear them and move on by engaging creativity, hope, imagination, inspiration and vision of what you want for yourself in the future. Spend time today with anything, anyone, or any environment that raises your vibration, brings you joy, beauty and laughter. Keep it personal, unique to you, and honor your own individuality especially around your personal needs and desires. Own them, forgive the past, and look towards the future.”

An easy way to work with this is to write down your New Moon Wishes, another fabulous way is to work with a New Moon Bowl. I personally do both as that’s just who I am. But give one a try, what do you have to lose?

Pancake Tuesday is this week (nom!) And as someone who was brought up as a Catholic, C of E, Quaker, Unitarian (such a delicious mix), I’m often drawn to exploring sacred texts, different forms of worship and celebration. After all, I chant various pauries from the So Purkh every morning!

Anyhow, on Sunday I went to a United Church nearby and was reminded we start the season of Lent this week, first with Pancake Tuesday and then with Ash Wednesday. I always used to see the season of Lent as deprivation, something to be endured or even dreaded. However, the lovely Minister that I was listening to shared how Lent is a germination time, a time of deeper receiving and planting ourselves in the mystery. A time to become a seed, still and waiting in the darkness and open to the miracles. I sooo loved this as we are currently in Late Winter and this is a time when the shoots are slowly pushing up towards the surface and there is an invitation to notice one sign of rebirth or renewal out in the world. So as you move through the world this week open up all your senses and look for these delicious signs and of course make Pancakes on Tuesday!! I personally will be making crepes galore and stuffing them with various fillings, so if you’re in the neighbourhood, come on over!

Okay, enough chuntering on. When I went to the cards and asked who wanted to guide this week I was tickled to see that the glorious “White Light Oracle” chose to participate. Now, if you remember this deck came to me right at the beginning of this new year and the new decade. And when I brought them home and opened them up to cleanse, bless and consecrate them I laughed so hard. A wolf! The back of the cards was a wolf and my gorgeous sister Fi loved wolves. In fact for one of her birthdays she went to a wolf sanctuary and learned all about them. And could howl like a glorious wolf with ease. A wolf and a star. Perfect!

SOVEREIGN QUEEN MAEVE

Value what is sacred to you by protecting it from interference, even that which may be well-intentioned. Be compassionate, but set firm boundaries. You are going to triumph over a negative situation. It will take courage, buy you have more than enough inner strength, resourcefulness and boldness to accomplish what you wish to attain. Do not give up. You have the ability to connect with higher worlds, so open your heart and mind to the light.

At the portal between everyday reality and the rapture of unchecked aliveness stands Sovereign Queen Maeve. She is an initiatrix, taking us beyond the constraints of polite moralism and into the bliss, sacred passion, grit and astuteness needed to cultivate and protect the light.

Goddess, warrior, Queen of the Fae, and fearless guardian and protector of territory. Maeve is wild and determined. Protecting territory from a spiritual perspective is unlike the grasping and self-serving of the ego that wishes to obtain whatever it can for its own benefit. This world needs souls who are willing and able to hold sacred space and refuse to allow it to become contaminated by greed, jealousy, hate or confusion. This is an act of courage and selflessness.

Come home to yourself again and again. Know you are strong enough to live your life and chart your course in communion with the sacred. In Sanskrit, svaraj is ‘self rule’, and, as the meaning of raj is also ‘radiance,’ it can also mean ‘self-luminous.’

Do not allow your destiny to rest in the hands of others. Recognise that the light within is your true ruler. You have the power to light yourself up with Spirit. Commit to what you can do and believe the realms of the Divine are working with you. Do not be dissuaded!

LASYA OF PARVATI

There is a gentler way to proceed and obtain the same, or even greater, effect. Tame the wild and frenzied workings of the mind by grounding yourself with beauty, pleasure and grace. Violence and its negative effects shall be overcome and healed through feminine gentleness and inner spiritual strength. There is so much future happiness.

Parvati is the Universal Mother in her gentle aspect. Although, as with all mothers, her fierce side will emerge if it’s needed to protect. She is beautiful and benevolent and evokes the qualities of love, connection, creativity and devotion to a higher purpose. The Divine Goddess has many names, and Parvati is also known as Jagatambe, the Mother of the Universe. Her son is Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity who fosters success in all ventures and protection from obstacles.

Parvati is a Tridevi, the sacred triune of feminine nature or triple goddess of Hinduism. Parvati is the divine archetype of the vital, competent, creative and loving woman. There is an opportunity here to heal one’s mother wounds and one’s relationship with the feminine more generally.

We can trust that the Divine Mother loves us and responds to what is needed, but also knows how to get things done without being more heavy-handed than necessary. She is genuinely moved by our suffering and will manifest in whatever forms are needed to heal.

Give up the notion that the deepest issues require the most difficult path to heal. Let her Lasya dance of happiness and grace unveil a gentler and more loving way.

PEARL OF SHARRO

Taking responsibility for your experiences empowers you. You are going to resolve an issue through spiritual inspiration and higher guidance. You will rise up in full connection to your spirit and access a wealth of divine treasure. That which has brought darkness into your world shall submit to the light and be transformed. Have courage and commitment to your awakening, for you are a precious being and can go far on the spiritual path this lifetime.

Sharro is a Tibetan word meaning to arise or manifest and shine with radiant spiritual light. Sharro is the outcome of sacred alchemy. It is the manifestation of the pearl beyond price. Created in the depths of the ocean, hidden away in a shell from prying eyes, this pearl symbolizes a beautiful blessing of unexpected grace. It began when an irritant caused the formation of a luminescent coating. The healing response to that initial intrusion resulted in an organic creation of inestimable beauty, value and uniqueness, so this pearl can be a sacred catalyst.

In the inner work of self-transformation, we take that which appears negative and utilise it to increase our goodness. However, we need to take care not to attribute the negativities to divine will that are actually caused by humans. Human beings have free will. Without it, there could be no growth, only a following of rules. For the soul, life is something like a multidimensional art class. It is allowed to create with absolute freedom, with the understanding that it will be responsible for its creations.

You have the capacity to become a light bearer. Safeguard your energy yet trust that the light within is strong enough to see you through any struggle and eventually transform it into a precious pearl of sacred empowerment. You have wisdom in your divinely alchemical heart!

Simple Abundance, Post Full Moon and Valentines Day!

Happy Marvellous, Magickal, Mysterious, Magnetic, Mesmerising, Melodious, Mellow, Manifesting Monday! How was the lovely Full Moon for you? I have heard from quite a few of you that you experienced big releases, and delicious heart openings which are awesome. I took some time that day for ritual and then spell casting in the evening (yes I did say spell casting). It was a glorious spell for Joy activation that is best performed under the Full Moon, so I most certainly did it and it felt marvelous (and my home smelled divine). I went to the beach as the sky was crystal clear and hung out with the waves, the moon and listened to that delicious sound that the waves make as they tickle the underside of the rocks. I also took all my crystals outside to get a divine moon bath!

I have had quite a few emails asking if the Imbolc reading special is still available. You bet, until the morning of the 14th (Friday).

Since the beginning of January I have been working with a book called “Simple Abundance”. What is interesting is that I had this book 18 years ago and it didn’t resonate for me at all – so I gave it away. However, now it does (gotta love how books know when you are ready for them.)

One of the things that I’ve been playing with this last week is seeking out the Sublime in the Ordinary. We all have days where we are ruled by our “to do” list and there are the mundane chores that need attending to, so to keep our daily rounds from being all drudgery, we’ve got to savour the art of the small: discovering diminutive delights that bring us joy, peace and pleasure. For example, when I have to cook dinner, instead of multi-tasking on the phone, listening to the radio and getting frustrated with the veg I need to chop. I have been embracing being present and having fun with the food creation and infusing it with love. When I feel bent out of shape that we have had days upon days of rain, I pull on my rain pants and wellies and hop with delight in every puddle I see! I bought a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and have them on the mantelpiece, and I bought a bunch of primulas and popped them into my pots so I see them every time I leave or come home. Simple things that make my smile and give me joy.

In doing this we really seize the essence of life. Embracing every moment. As Margaret Collier Graham wrote in 1906 – “People need joy quite as much as clothing. Some of them need it far more.” So what are some of the joyful simplicities you can bring into your life?

On Friday we have Valentine’s Day. Which let’s be honest, has now become a Hallmark celebration thanks to Chaucer in the 14th century), the meaning of love has become about romantic love which can be tough for people if they have lost someone, choose to be single or just want something different. According to legend, Saint Valentine restored sight to the blind daughter of his judge, and he wrote her a letter signed “Your Valentine” as a farewell before his execution. The Feast of Saint Valentine was established by Pope Gelasius I in AD 496 to be celebrated on February 14 in honour of the Christian martyr, Saint Valentine of Rome, who died on that date in AD 269.

So I’ve perked what I want to do for Valentine’s and how I want to share and spread love to those I know, and those I don’t. Meringues it is! Little wee meringue nests filled with whipped cream and topped with a raspberry and gift them. Why? Because I believe it is important to remind people that they are loved, seen, valued and important, even the people you don’t know that you walk past on the street. So if any of you want to come over and help meringues, please do and if you know how to make tin foil swans – let me know.

Now if these guides are new to you, please let me introduce you:- These guides are the magickal and mystical that weave through the threads of every day, they are the Dragonfae, Gods and Goddesses who dwelt in dimensional lands….Eden, Avalon, Ys, Atlantis and Mu, they are Morgan, Guenevere, Merlin and others – fully alive and filled with magick! They are the deliciously magickal beings that have always been there, we just forgot, and when we connect with them, we reconnect with the lost parts of ourselves, allowing us to fully explore the gift of life on this beautiful green and blue planet, known by some as Gaia, by others as Dana, and by many other names.

The crystals that wiggled and jiggled to participate are Angel Wing Phantom – Tranquility, Peacock Ore – Happiness/Joy and Mookaite – Nurturing/Decision making. The lovely snowdrops wanted to come participate and are now sitting in a wee vase on my desk.

Okay gorgeous one, let’s take a moment shall we? I invite you to breathe in through your nose and sigh it out through your mouth. Allow your breathing to slow in its own way. And as it does invite into your minds eye the conception of Joy. What does it look like? What does it feel like? If you would like a bit more support there is a lovely guided visualisation for you. THE LADY GRIAN

I am of the Earth and of the Sol-star’s light. I am the opening of the flower, the love that lives in the flower of your heart. I love you, and wish for you to draw this love energy into your being.

I am a power source that you cannot neglect. Because even if you feel you are being of winter, and that your heart has grown cold and hrd in order to ease the pain, I tell you that you are now ready to reveal your own life source and warmth to another being. The love you have to share will be appreciated and returned. More so, this warm and loving heart energy will be its own reward, as you awaken again to your feeling nature. Please open your heart in this moment.

Allow yourself to love. See the beauty in warmth, and smile as often as you can. Bring forth your joy, and see the opening of others’ hearts. Wear yellow, red and gold: all the colours of my friend, the Sun, and you will feel a great flow of energy awakening throughout your body and energetic being. Please see that the seeds you planted need warm earth in which to grow. Yes, they can survive when it is cold, but they cannot thrive.

So be warm, extend your energy, and know that your truly radiant self will create great opportunity and abundance around you. Simply extend some heart energy, and I will support you and love you until you are the radiance of the Sun incarnated in your own form.

CHUMARA

Beyond the mask we all wear of identity, beyond the construct of who we have been conditioned to believe we are lies your face, your self. This face is tender and new in so many ways, as you have not shown her to the world before. This face has been protected because the world has seemed and proved indeed at times to be a dangerous and unkind place, where those of us who feel different are proved to be so as we brave the taunts and finger pointing. But I now tell you that your protections, your armour and your shield can be removed safely with me. Do not discard her, as you may need her yet in certain situations. To you, I now reveal myself. See? Many have recoiled in horror at who I truly am. I’m a Dragonfae Maiden, a Spider Woman, a being of webs and change and destruction, and re-creation. Each day I must remake my world….I feel along its sensory threads to see what needs reconstruction and what needs to be let go of. For I am, as you are, part of the new web of life – a web of life that embraces our differences and yet understands that we are one.

I ask you today to look at the webs in your life that must be remade and rewoven….. Remove your mask that says “I am this,” and know you are that, but also so much much more.

HIDEKI’S DOOR

I know you wish to reach out, and yet you hold back. I know you feel drawn to knock on this door and to see whether it will be answered this time…and yet you fear so much. You fear that it will not be answered…that the answer or the face that appears beyond the door will not be to your liking…that if you enter, you may never return… I cannot put your fears to rest, for only you can do that. But I can tell you what I see. I see a spirit whose flame has flickered low,, whose light is in danger of going out if it does not take the next step. For years you have passed this door and many times you have found yourself here. You may even have knocked at the door, only to flee, like a terrified child, before the door was opened to you.

I say to you now: it is time. Reach out. Knock at the door. And let what will be, be.

Nervous about a new chance…feeling as though your comfort zone is far better than the unknown; longing to travel and to change, yet unwilling to do anything about it; procrastinations and old habits keeping you from reaching out and accepting what is being offered. You are ready…it is simply nerves that are holding you back, conditioned fears and internalised voices from the past. Reach out…take a hold of the handle and be ready for the wonder of the unknown that lies beyond the door. The doors of perception are about to change…forever.

What does Integrity mean to you? Shadows and Light. New Moon in Aquarius!

Happy Marvelous, Magnetic, Musical, Merry, Mischievous, Miraculous, Manifesting Monday! Whoot! How are you delicious lovely? Have you picked your WOTY? How are you getting along with the theme this month of “If Not Now, When? If Not You, Who?”

Here in balmy Victoria we were hit with big snow – it was fantabulous! (Although many people who live here would totally disagree). But I loved it, there was a good couple of feet of it and the city ground to a stand still – ahhhhh, there is a certain quiet and beauty that snow brings. So I gifted myself the full day on Wednesday to do the Journey of Inanna. Sacred circle was set, I had a gatekeeper and off we went. This is not a journey for the faint of heart as there are 7 gates you have to pass through and at each one you are asked to release a part of yourself. For example:- how you show up in the world, how you communicate, your tribe, your material possessions and financial security and others. Until at the very end you give up your humanness. And at every gate you explore – who the heck am I without that piece, what does this look like, feel like. Raw is the word I would use. Then as you ascend back you choose what you want to pick up and what you are willing to release. Very powerful.

So this got my mind to perking (as you know it does). We have a New Moon in Aquarius on January 24th (Friday), which means the sky is dark and we set our seeds of intention, our desires, our light. Thus, a glorious mix of Shadow and Light. Yet I see so many people stuffing what they perceive as their “Shadow” pieces. The pieces that they don’t like, or that are judged by others as “not suitable for present company!” This in turn creates a fragmentation and a sense of not being whole, it also encourages people pleasing and mask wearing to fit it. So I say Bollocks to that!

Now as many of you know I facilitate a group called Soul Matters where we walk with a theme each month and explore it in a deep spiritual and personal way whilst looking at how it shows up in our day to day. The theme we are exploring for January is “Integrity”. So let me ask – what does Integrity mean to you?

The standard dictionary definition is “Integrity: the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.” Hmmmm, most certainly but there needs to be more. I like the definition from Authur Gordon:- “Integrity: Basically, the word means wholeness. In mathematics, an integer is a number that isn’t divided into fractions. Just so, a person of integrity isn’t divided against him or herself.”

Most people look at Integrity as it’s about addition – build your character, get better at being honest, and all those pieces. It’s about being better, becoming more. But what if it isn’t about adding something on, but actually remembering and embracing all you are – a wholeness? Remembering the important life lessons that have come our way, such as: – I remember that masks that stay on too long will stick to my skin. I remember I always have a choice. I remember that if I am asked to keep a piece of me hidden, this is not where I belong. It’s about diving into your core values and living them.

As Rachel Naomi Remen shares – “Integrity rarely means that we need to add something to ourselves: it is more an undoing than a doing, a freeing ourselves from beliefs we have about who we are and ways we have been persuaded to “fix” ourselves.”

Integrity to me is not slicing myself up into different parcels for different places. It’s to know and to feel that I am showing up as my whole self in different settings. It’s bringing all the pieces of me to the table. Yes? It’s about allowing what we call our “shadow” pieces to be integrated into our being so they don’t need to squirt sideways and by integrating them we release the vast amount of energy that it takes to stuff them into a box in the back of the closet, and bring it back to ourselves to fuel our light. Which feels amazing!

So let me ask again – What does Integrity look and feel like for you? Are you willing to allow what you perceive as your shadow pieces some space? Are you willing to bring them into your being with love? If you do, the energy surge is positively delicious and then you start showing up in a state of wholeness and as the gorgeous authentic being you are!

So with all that in mind when I went to the cards and was just about to ask who wanted to guide this week I was gobsmacked as this glorious deck threw themselves off the shelf and spilled out all over the floor. So please let me introduce you to your gorgeous guides for this week, The Oracle of Shadows and Light. If you have never met them before, or worked with them:- Wisdom for Misfits, Mystics, Seekers, and Wanderers. Bittersweet..Unheard..Unconventional…Rebellious…Cheeky…Whimsical…Invisible. They’re not the words you often hear associated with the spiritual world, are they? Nevertheless, some of the most spiritual beings who have ever lived are those who have been most at odds with what we call the mainstream. They do not fit in. They have had moments of despair. And they know being truthful, and being real, is one of the greatest strengths and spiritual paths of all! They ask you to step out from the shadows, to no longer hide your light away, and to consult with an oracle that acknowledges your individuality and strange genius! How’s that for a warm welcome?

Thus with the thought of wholeness, reclaiming the energy that you use to hide pieces of yourself or your pain close your eyes down and just breathe. For those of you who want to go deeper there is a lovely guided visualisation for you and you won’t need a passport. Just breathe, trust and allow this all to swirl. Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that tug.

STORM ANGEL

This beautiful fairy is dressed in storms: energy around her crackles and sizzles, but she is calm and unharmed. Now it your time and turn to learn to deal with the energy that is around you, without compromising your own! She appears when energies with major differences collide: when intentions are vastly different, when techniques are worlds apart, and when incompatible belief systems meet up!

There is nothing wrong, at all, with difference: diversity is wonderful. Shadows and light are beautiful and necessary and can coexist in harmony. But certain kinds of differences do not blend…like oil and water, they separate and cannot coexist in harmony. Therefore, she brings change, and when comes, for some it is simple, easy and flowing; for others, dramatic, erratic, wild, and full of static.

She appears when two forms of energy collide; high and low. She appears to burn way the old and create a clear, fresh vibration, where all that is stale, and fearful, and unpleasant has been cleared away. The wonderful thing about this challenging collision is that while you’ll be nudged out of your comfort zone, you’ll also realise just how much has changed, and how far you have come. The results will be worth the pressure – trust me!

As the Storm Angel speaks: “When I appear, know that it is natural for people to feel tension, to become even more entrenched in their beliefs, and to refuse to let go. The only approach you can take right now is to clearly and powerfully remain in integrity. Do not compromise who you are out of misguided notion of being “compassionate”.

You must speak the truth that is in your heart and stay committed to that truth.

CARNIVOROUS FLOWER FAIRY

Pay attention! Look carefully at someone or a situation around you. Her beauty tempts people in, but the purpose of the flowers is to devour, making it difficult to escape unharmed! You may have been told such situations are “wonderful agents of change and growth”. But the truth is that you do not need to learn this lesson again. The plants in the beautiful yet faintly macabre, image represent someone or something that is attractive, yet dangerous.

There is a being who may feed off your energy, or even eat you alive. Watch for people who consume more than they give, people who bully and swallow others, who argue you out of your beliefs, ignore you, or constantly seek your approval and praise and then grow hostile when you no longer give it. If you are appeasing another instead of having an equal relationship, or if you are fearful of being consumed by an environment that is toxic, yet seductive, it may be that the Carnivorous Flower Fairy has come forth to show you clearly what you need to avoid.

Whatever and whomever the carnivorous Flower Fairy represents, it is a dangerous alliance to contemplate. Do not get too close. Observe and learn, if you must. Do not become an experiment. They will bite you, and they will try to take from you. It is their very nature.

PINK LOTUS FAIRY

You may love your guilt-free rants, staying up too late, and happily behaving badly, but you’re about to balance all that out with some very powerful new spiritual teachings and connections.

You are to meet a wise one who seems very still, very slow, and very peaceful. She will be tranquil and serene and immersed in a path that until now has felt too slow, or “foreign,” for you. But this teacher, who is represented by the Pink Lotus Fairy, will assist you in finding more of your soul’s true wisdom. Within this time of inner discovery, you will commit to disciplined new training in the mental realms: study and physical movement that is unfamiliar to you, all of which helps you to naturally choose thoughts that are empowering and enlivening, yet completely authentic and real.

You will learn to be still and to listen to the beat of your heart without giving in to restlessness, or the critical voice inside, or the cliches the ego loves to trip you up with. After you have learned more discipline through peaceful practice of meditation or exercise or mantras, you will nurture yourself more willingly, without guilt, and you will have returned to a place of tranquility, self-love and peace.

You will bring into balance your own shadows and light. Don’t worry – you will be happier and more peaceful, but you won’t be boring! You could never be!

There is a deep and true part of yourself that has long yearned for acknowledgement, fulfillment, and the nirvana that is on its way.

Wowzer. Those are amazing messages as we dance with Shadow and Light and practice Integrity that means Wholeness. Delicious lovely! Happy Magickal, Mysterious, Merry, Melodious, Magnificent, Magickal Manifesting Monday!

How are you? Here the air has literally changed and I can smell that early winter smell mixed with wood smoke from cosy fireplaces. As I go for my big yomps with Danu the wise (but young) therapy doggo I’ve noticed that people are putting up tons of sparkly lights – I so LOVE sparkly lights! Also, when I moved here a year ago I noticed that people decorated their outdoor trees with HUGE, I mean HUGE Big Balls! (Thus very quickly I experienced Big Ball Envy!) So this year I thought – I need me some BIG BALLS! Bright, shiny, sparkly and eye catching lolol. I put this thought out there to friends and random strangers and lo and behold I manifested gorgeous gold crescent moons with a single star on them, big glorious gold balls and …….. Drum roll please! BIG BLUE BALLS! (Trust me, some days I have the humour of a 10 year old boy!) Yup, huge, mammoth BIG BLUE SHINY BALLS! Snort!

A couple of my boys very kindly clambered up the huge cherry tree that is right outside my front door and bedecked it with all the moons and balls (and they even made blue ball jokes). So now when I sit out on my front stoop with a cuppa tea watching the birds flock in I can also chuckle at my big blue balls bouncing in the breeze! (And call to mind that AC/DC song Big Balls).

Okay enough of those shenanigans!

Can you feel it? The change in the season, the change in the energy? We are in the glorious early Winter energy where we are being invited to go into the dark, to go inward, to ponder, perk, plan and prepare! Winter Solstice is just around the corner and I am so thrilled as it is one of my most favourite times of year. I will be putting together a glorious package on rituals, energy and ways of celebrating the Winter Solstice, so make sure you are on the email list. However, the bottom line is very much about – into the dark we go and even more so as we are approaching a new decade!

If you remember the Shamanic energy for October was – Rewriting the Story, November was – Proactive Change and December is “GET PREPARED, BE PREPARED!”

Mixed in with that delicious energy is the last Full Moon of the year and the last Full Moon of the decade! According to the Famer’s Almanac this Full Moon is on December 12th at 12:12 EST and is known as the Cold Moon or the Long Nights Moon. (It’s also the Gemini Full Moon).

This Full Moon is a potent time to say goodbye to the stories of the past and to free yourself from any stresses, burdens, or anxieties that you no longer wish to carry. It is also a great time to bring resolution or let go of anything unresolved that was brewing around the last set of Eclipses in July 2019.

While there is support from the Moon to do release work around this time, there is also a powerful vibration of healing too, which will guide us to retreat so we can feel recharged and restored. This a very gentle and empowering moon so don’t over stress it, but release what you feel no longer serves you. For those doing the glorious Moon Bowl Ritual, this is when you will start taking a stone out a day, still repeating your themed intention!

Yesterday I lit the second candle in my lovely homemade Advent wreath – this is the candle of Hope and Love (it’s also the celebration of the light of plants – plants that reach up to the sun and in the breezes dance). Now the word “Hope” has never been one of my favourite words as I find it is used far too much i.e. – I hope the kids do their chores, I hope I win the lottery, I hope the cat doesn’t cough a hairball on the clean laundry………. So the word Hope always felt a bit banal to me, thus, I went exploring and reading and have to say I really like this definition, it is one I can get behind:-

“Hope is a feeling of trust, a security, and a reason to keep going. It is a passionate desire of our heart. It is a feeling of expectation and a longing for a certain thing to happen.” – Verity Russell

So let me ask – What do you Hope for?

Okay, let’s crack on with the reading. It was quite interesting today, as I know for a fact I was guided to the 3 cards that should be shared and yet when I lay them out there were 4????? FAIRY OF THE HIGHLANDS

It’s time to be brave.

The Fairy of the Highlands does not want to fight; she feels it is not in hernature. She wants to resolve disputes peacefully. But she will fight if it must come to that. And she is showing you now that you too have the means to stand up for yourself – even though you have almost chronically avoided conflict and allowed others to take advantage.

It is time to take up this sword, step into that part of yourself that knows how to take a stand, speak the truth, and not back down when the threat of conflict looms. It may seem unnatural, and wrong, and frightening, and this little fairy knows it. But it is time; and this giving up of what you have worked so hard for in order to avoid conflict or confrontation is no longer right. Take the stand, and hold up the word.

The time of truce is over. It is time to speak your truth and be strong. People have been taking over your ground, wanting what you have worked hard for, without doing the work themselves. They have done so by taking advantage of your peaceful nature. But enough is enough. Sad as it is, it is time to change this, to cut away the cords between you and those who have taken so much, and now you will go into battle. Yes, it is sad. Yes, the Highland Fairy is sad for you. But do not allow sorrow and guilt to neglect self-protection.

Honour yourself, raise your sword, and do not back down!

SEWER MERMAID

Your sensuality is beautiful!

You’re being reminded of the treasures you have that you may have labeled “bad” and perhaps even pushed away, forced underneath. We often have negative thoughts – that we are too short, too tall, our thighs too large, our breasts too small, our hair not right, our face not pretty enough. We speak to ourselves in negative ways, and we begin to feel we are not good enough. And when this takes place, the result can be that we begin to create negative experiences, blockages, and difficulties.

We push away, rather than attract them. We hide for fear that what others see will not be good enough. But this mermaid of the hidden spaces is here to show you that your dark thoughts have told you lies about your great beauty; you are your own self, and all that you are is perfect, whole, and complete. You may try to push her away and refuse to believe that you are beautiful. But when you are ready, she will swim to you and free you from all the harmful, negative thoughts and experiences, all the “sewage”. You will begin to believe that no matter what, you are a beautiful being, healthy, attractive, and one who deserves love, respect, and affection.

It’s time to believe in yourself – that you are attractive, beautiful, and worthy of love and respect. She will show you how to see your body as a place of health, delight, and strength. Let’s clean up your physical and mental acts. Let’s love all aspects of the physical self. Let us not criticise and hate ourselves, no matter our size, shape, or differences. We are all unique expressions of the Divine – and that truth most certainly applies to you. Let us not be ashamed anymore.

Let us celebrate who we are, and learn to love the differences, and be grateful for all that we have, are, and will be.

DRESS OF ALCHEMY

Release your Power!

You have strong, powerful, vibrant energy that changes lives. And with that comes great responsibility. Some people may be eroding their own energy fields with blame, discontent, and choosing the same destructive patterns over and over again. When this being walks in, she shows that it is possible to change deeply and truly, and to become clear, bright, strong, healthy, and very powerful in terms of your energy.

She understands the responsibility – and has worked consistently and with great discipline and earnestness to be able to create. The eyes in her wings make it impossible to ide from the truth of who you are.

It is time for you celebrate who you truly are at this time, to acknowledge you have some energetic debris that needs to be cleared, and when you do this, the gold of who you truly are will shine through, just as these alchemical symbols shine from her dress.

It is no longer possible in this new energy to hide who you are. You must take the time to be truly yourself. There is no cloak to hide within, as you can see: this dress she wears reveals all her magicks and all her secrets. The secrets and the wisdom of the ages are being revealed now more than ever before.

When you have cleared your energy field of the guilt, the fear, the jealousy, and the envy, you will be able to shine brightly, too.

TWO LITTLE WITCHES

Magickal space-clearing time.

From out of the shadows come the Two Little Witches, solemn and sincere. They fix you with their clear green and blue gaze, and ready you for the magick that is the broom they are about to pass on to you! And what is the magickal secret of this broom?

Why, that it can sweep clear any old, stale energy that is lurking about you at the moment.

Take this broom and see it whisk all by itself once, twice, three times, widdershins around your house, your hearth, your home, and it will clear out all that is hiding in the shadows of the corners and the underneath of the rooms of your soul and home! (Widdershins is the traditional direction for clearing energy. It means against the sun, in the northern hemisphere go in counter clockwise direction and in the southern hemisphere go in a clockwise direction.)

When it is done, they clap their hands three times, and the broom returns to their arms, and they move on to the next home that needs their help.

But now that is done, what will you fill your space and your life with? That is the greatest, and trickiest, choice of all, but one which only you can make!

Make the mundane work for you – it’s time to conduct a house clearing, followed by a house blessing. Whenever we make a change, we always rediscover stuff we’ve been hanging on to. Stuff that’s weighed us down, without our even realising it was there.
