Spring is Here!!!!!

Friday’s Full Moon was the last full moon of the winter, and yesterday heralded Spring Equinox/Ostara, and I have to admit I am piggly, wiggly excited!  (Now if you are in the Southern Hemisphere you just had the last full moon of summer and are welcoming in the Autumnal Equinox).

We made it through the dark Winter months & here we are at Spring’s new beginning. It’s the dawn of a new day, a new season. A new chapter is beginning for you.

Spring is a joyful time, with themes of awakening, rebirth, and new life. Nature is waking up after her long Winter’s rest. Everything’s coming alive; the natural world is being reborn.

This same thing is happening within you – in your life & in your spirit.

With the arrival of Spring it’s time to let your Soul take a deep breath of fresh air and to bring up the visions and creations it has been incubating over the winter time.  

What are those seeds you want to plant literally and figuratively?  

I had epic plans for a glorious Spring Equinox celebration of a massive intense hike along the rugged west coast whilst hiding tiny, hand painted faery doors in the woods for others to find.  But you know what they say about “The best laid plans of mice and men?”  Exactly!

Instead of my epic adventure, I had the joy of a weird upper respiratory thing for the last 10 days that made me feel low energy, grumpy as all get out and just generally unwell (let alone the delicious coughing).  So, it was time to readjust and not cling to “but I planned this.”

Open door number 2 and create a different day, which was delicious!  

I got up before the sun rose and went to an empty beach to watch it rise over the horizon and drew sigils in the sand.  Had a long rambling walk with Danu under the canopy of old, old trees whilst the creek rushed by.  Went on the hunt for White Sage seeds, and found them!  Planted seeds in the garden (even in the rain), and then took time out to get clear on what are my Soul Seeds, what do I want to create more of with this season.  

I then decorated a few eggs with symbols of what these Soul Seeds look like and did the Egg Divination ritual that I shared with you last week.  (Oomancy at its finest!)  Then to top it off I decided I wanted cake – so I made a glorious Black Forest cake to snarfle down in the evening with a gorgeous cuppa tea.

All in all it was a really lovely, mindful, celebratory Spring Equinox.

Okay, enough chuntering on, let’s crack on with the reading.  The cards that wiggled and jiggled to guide this week are the glorious Sacred Destiny Oracle, guides.  So in case  you have never met them, let me introduce you – and if you have met them before, let me reintroduce you (as not to do so is rude!).  “You have a sacred destiny; we all do.  There is a powerful and profound reason that you are here on the planet.  However, sometimes it may be difficult to understand what that reason is and perceive what is required on your journey into the future.  It may be a challenge to know what the next step in life should be.  This is the time to call upon the energy of nature and majesty of the natural world to provide answers to the heartfelt yearnings of your soul.  In ancient traditions, shamans, medicine women, witches, visionaries, and prophets all accessed hallowed knowledge by observing their natural environment.  These wise beings stepped through mystic gateways into inner realms to bring back meaning to the seemingly random event of life. “

Note the line –  This is the time to call upon the energy of nature and majesty of the natural world to provide answers to the heartfelt yearnings of your soul. 

Your Soul Seeds!!!

The crystals that wanted to show off are absolutely brand spanking new as I went to a Rock and Gem show on the weekend.  (It takes rocks and gems for me to want to be in a crowd of people).  We have the Red Graphic Feldspar, Pegmatite and Pinolite.  Aren’t they quite scrummy?

Okay darling one, settle.  Just allow the cares to slide off and breathe, breathe yourself back into your body.  Calling all of the pieces of you back home.  As you breathe, I invite you to see in your mind’s eye a packet of seeds.  These seeds are very, very special as they are your Soul Seeds.  As you gently shake them into your hand, getting ready to plant them, what are they?  What images swirl up?  When you’re ready pick the card or cards that whisper to you.

FULFILMENT

The peach tree blooms early, and because of this, it is often a symbol of Spring and the renewal of life.  It is also the Chinese symbol of a happy marriage and of fertility.  

In some traditions, it stands for immortality.  

Ripe peaches also portend fertility, fecundity, and a great fulfilment.  In Korean traditions, the peach represents happiness, riches, honours and longevity.

Fulfilment is at hand.  No matter what is occurring in your life, put your attention on what is splendid, pleasurable, and luscious.

Find bliss in the moment.  Love fully, deeply, without hesitation.

Cherish your friendships.

Fill your life with people, experiences and places that give you delight.  Let go of people and things that don’t feel empowering and that drag your energy down.  

You no longer need to put the needs of others ahead of your own needs.  If you’ve had any health issues, a ripe peach represents a return to better health.

Savour your life with gusto and with grace.

Experience and embrace life in all its permutations.  If you want to conceive a new baby; or a new project, or start a new relationship, this is an excellent omen for a great outcome.

 TRANSFORMATION

It’s not an accident that the butterfly represents transformation, rebirth, and resurrection.

Remarkably, when the caterpillar becomes a chrysalis, it doesn’t just instantly become a butterfly; it actually dissolves into a kind of soup,

In other words, it liquefies itself…..and out of that emerges something completely different.  It is a true transformation.

In some cultures, blue butterflies are considered very good luck and even wish granters.

In Native American tribes, it is believed that a wish whispered to a butterfly will be granted when it flies to the heavens.  The Native American shawl dance, which celebrates renewal, is derived from the butterfly dance.  

Also, the colour blue represents calmness, peace, and spiritual attunement: and the blue butterfly is thought to carry all these meanings.

This is the time for change, reinvention, or a rebirth into a new way of being.

If you’ve been plodding along, it’s time to take measures to shift everything.  Don’t resist change.

The blue colour suggests a spiritual renewal or initiation.  

Transformation doesn’t mean taking something old and remodelling it or rearranging a few things: it means becoming something completely different……or doing something completely different.  

Change is often uncomfortable, but it is usually for the highest good.  

FLOW

A meandering river is a waterway that cures, bends, turns, and seems to swing side to side as it flows forward.  Viewed from above it looks sinuous and even snakelike.  

Meandering rivers are dynamic as they wind their way across valley floors and bring life-giving sediment to new habitats.  

The word meander was derived from the ancient Meander River, which flows into the Aegean Sea.  The Greeks created symbols for “meander” that have been described as some of the most important symbols for ancient Greek culture; they represented the fluid movement of water and the eternal flow of all life.

The twisting patterns were also thought to represent the serpent, which was the symbol of healing, hence our present day symbol for doctors is the caduceus.  It is also the symbol for the Shakti energy that resides at the base of the spine.  

There are times to hold on tight to the shore, and there are times to enter the flow.  Notice where life is going and move in that direction.

Watch for signs and follow them.  Don’t resist.  When you go with the flow, your life-force expands and healing on all levels abounds.  This is also the time to release old, limiting patterns, forgive and let go of the need to be right about your beliefs.  

If you aren’t feeling the smooth currents of life, it might mean that you’re being self-critical or judgmental.  When you enter the flow with gratitude and love, you will find blessings surrounding you.

You will enter into a state of grace, and healing will abound.

Spring Equinox and the Worm Full Moon invite in Balance and Ritual!

Happy Marvelous, Magnificent, Magickal. Merry, Musical, Moony, March Monday!  

There is so much to natter about this week it’s fabulous!  We have the glorious Spring Equinox (Ostara) coming up on the 20th/21st, as well as the Worm Full Moon on the 18th and how Ritual provides a delicious space amidst shifting energies.

Many of you have been reaching out asking if you can still take advantage of the Spring Equinox reading special and if it is still available.  You bet!  Until Monday March 21st at midnight you can take advantage of two new readings to help you set your seeds of intention for Spring.  And yes (to all the questions), the Ostara Magickal Guide, filled with lore, card reading spread, rituals, spellwork and yumminess will be available until that time as well.  Phew! 

Okay seriously, I have to ask,  who doesn’t want to celebrate Spring?  

As a kid Spring time was filled with woodland flowers and baby lambs popping out everywhere and bouncing like mad fiends over the grass.  Thus, I think that really nailed down the fact that I love Spring Equinox!  

When I did this reading, there were glorious birds in my bird feeder, Fat robins hopping all over looking for luscious worms, and crows doing very vigorous mating dances!  I took a wee wander around the newly dug garden and saw that the broad bean shoots were pushing up as well as the sweet peas!   Everything is starting to reach, expand and grow!  

After a wet, gray winter, the idea, the knowing and the full Trust that Spring is going to come is amazing.  To me it is about NEW.  New plants, new ideas, new ways of moving in the world and releasing the blaugh.  This is the best time of the year to start new projects, focus your goals for the year, and plant the seeds for what you want to achieve.  Don’t expect rapid movement, though, since things have to get going at their own pace (which could be fast, since many plants in spring seem to just appear from nowhere, but could also be slow, like a tulip poking its head gradually from the ground.)

Spring Equinox (also known as Ostara), after the goddess Eostre, is a fertility holiday, which celebrates the resurgence of life with such symbols as rabbits, cute little chicks and lambs (seeing any similarity to Easter symbols?) 

This is a time when the goddess is the Maiden in all her youthful glory, the god is reaching manhood, and energy abounds.  So why not tap into that energy to bring the light into your own darkness, if  you have any?  For example spring cleaning is not just about your home, it’s about removing old or negative energies accumulated over the dark winter months to prepare you for glorious growth.  It’s about planting seeds of intention, seeds of growth, seeds of food – it’s about shedding that heavy winter coat and picking up something a tad lighter and a bit more fun.  

Equinox is about looking at the Balance in your life. 

Where are you over giving?  What is out of alignment?  In The Creatrix Circle this weekend we had our Equinox Gathering and it was magnificent!  And there was a beautiful exercise of looking at what you receive with your left hand and what you give with your right – and are they in Balance.  Are you in Balance?

This energy also ties into the gorgeous Full Moon in Virgo that happens on Friday, March 18th, aka The Worm Moon.  

Why the Worm Moon?  It’s called this because the earth is thawing and robins are greedily pulling up lovely fat earthworms and gobbling them down!  (Now if that doesn’t conjure up the image of Spring for you, lol!)

March’s Moon cycle is considered the final Moon of Winter. The Spring season is upon us and with it, new life and excitement. 

The Worm Moon spiritual meaning reflects the fresh starts taking place everywhere you look!

Tiny buds are pushing their way up through the earth, filling your heart and soul with pure joy. Birds, squirrels, and other critters scurry about and you wonder if they feel the same hope and anticipation you do.

Whether physically or metaphorically, it’s time to plant seeds that we can harvest and reap the rewards of later this year. What hard work and energy can you do now to help out your future self? This is the time to get deeply detailed on what your goals are, and harness focused energy towards your specific goal.

As the days continue to grow longer and brighter, earthworms begin to make an appearance as the soil warms and softens. Birds, enthralled with new feeding opportunities, descend upon them. More evidence that Spring is close at hand. During these spirited days in March, we celebrate the Full Worm Moon.

These small signs indicate the dark cold days are ending and a new season is now beginning. Earth is awakening from its deep Winter rest.

March’s Full Worm Moon spiritual meaning is full of optimism, hope, and new beginnings.

Thus both Spring Equinox and The Worm Moon are glorious times to set strong intentions and anchor them in with ritual.  

I often get asked how to “do” rituals and why they are important.  

To me a ritual is an intention made manifest, it’s that place of connection with the Divine, Universe, God/Goddess or however you chose to name it.  In other words, a ritual takes an idea, thought or emotion and gives it a physical form in the world.  

It’s important as the teutonic plates of our life shift, to take the time to mark that point. That point of change, that point of pause, that point of celebration or grief.

So for example when I invite or suggest that perhaps at certain times there are things that you might want to write down, release and burn – guess what?  That’s a ritual.  When you sit down at New Moon and write your wishes/intentions out, guess what?  That’s a ritual. 

All it took was a brief moment of time, paper, pen and something to light either a candle or the paper with.  When you consciously put your crystals into the moonlight, on fresh dirt or in a bowl of salt water and whisper a blessing over them – that’s a ritual.  

When you gather various herbs together, cast a circle of salt, call in the directions, offer up a spell or prayer – that is ritual.  Are you with me?

To me ritual allows your body, your cells, your essence to understand your intention.  Does that make sense?  

Remember energy follows intention and where your energy flows, results show.

 Can you feel it?  Can you feel the energy beginning to surge and inviting you to move forward (or I like to think of it as Springing forward)!

When I went to the cards and asked who felt impelled to guide this week and help us with the gorgeous Spring Equinox and Full Moon energy I was surprised to see the Oracle of the Shapeshifters.  

For a brief moment I was perplexed as to why they were adamant to come and guide and then I remembered and nearly laughed my soxs off!  If these glorious guides are new to you, let me please introduce them (as that is the polite thing to do)!  “These are the magickal familiars, once the companions of shamans, witches, wizards, and wise ones – and now they are here for you.  Now is the time for you to undertake a great quest – to rebirth yourself within this lifetime and this quest of evolution does not need to be faced alone.  We change and we change again.  We fear change.  Yet it comes.  For us to fear change is as foolish as winter crying for the coming of spring.  Change is.  Fear corrupts.  These guides are here to support, encourage and help you through transformation and to teach you to let go of fear.  True , deep change must take place for you to fulfill your soul contract.  You may have turned from possibility to what you have convinced yourself is probable:  You diminish your possible self, reduce who you are, and dilute your spirit.  But even when you have sought to remain invisible and hidden away, and said  yes to everyone else, life will find you – and transform you.  You are never alone with these beings.” Phew!  So there we have it, are you ready?

The crystals that wiggled and jiggled to come and play are Apatite, Angelite and Chrysocolla.  And of course with Equinox just days away the lovely Spring flowers wanted to participate, so we have  a cheerful pansy, a dashing daff and a gentle grape hyacinth!  (Who could ask for anything more).

Ready?  I invite you to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth for a few deep, long breaths.  As you breathe, see in your mind’s eye gorgeous roots pushing down into the earth as it warms, connecting, grounding and supporting.  Breathe this way for however long you have and when your shoulders have relaxed away from  your ears and your jaw is loose, pick the card or cards that resonate for you at this time.

A LOYAL GUARDIAN

This sweet faery being holds within her arms a fierce, loyal, and very strong Rottweiler who will keep all predators and bullies at bay.  He is unwaveringly devoted to protecting his faery friend – and to protecting you.  The Loyal Guardian is so powerful that he is unable to be hurt, and he will stand guard and watch, growl at, fight, and even kill any who attempt to harm you at this stage.  There is fierce, protective magick surrounding you or another one with you who is fragile.

Think of yourself as a newborn:  Babies are at their most vulnerable after transitioning from the sea of the womb to the world of breath and air.  You are making a huge change, and this makes you vulnerable. When you are rebirthing, changing your life, you need mentors and strong, calm guardians to assist you in moving into a world that seems full of danger.  With my steadfast, calm, confidence, you will be safe.  You can face the changes and the threats without becoming overwhelmed or rushing back to the familiar, less sensitive state because it seems safe.  

You will have with you energetically at this time a very protective guardian.  There may be some new people or situations in your life that make you feel threatened, uncertain, and uncomfortable.  This wariness has been noted, and this shapeshifter in the form of a large, devoted, and very powerful companion will be at your side, sniffing out danger, sounding an alarm at any threat, even readying to fight for you, should it come to that.  If there has been bullying or behaviour that has intimidated you, you have someone on your side who will not let you down and who will not let you face this alone.

DEEP DARK SEA MERMAID

This mysterious magickal companion will help you to find out what lies beneath the stories and beliefs you hold.  She will show you the Universal laws that are being played out and the truths of situations that may have been hidden by the detail that can sometimes cloud our wisdom.  She also will indicate some new and interesting ways of producing energy, growing food, receiving energy and nutrition and renewing yourself.  She will take you deep and show you dark jewels of the self, help you to take certain things seriously and fearlessly, and show you that the monsters you feared can be rendered harmless.  

There are alternative energy sources.  There are solutions to your every dilemma.  There is a truth beneath so much of the mystery.  There is so much undiscovered in the world, in the great beneath.  Just as the world has so many creatures and beings that walk among you undiscovered, you, too, have deep, hidden potentials.  I am here to show you that there are places you must go that you have feared exploring – that you must go deeper, dig down, down into your own self, and explore alternatives in the world.  

New discoveries about your own capabilities are happening now.  The energy you send and receive becomes known to you; you see the relationship between what you feel, send, and create in your own life.  It all becomes; where once it was frightening, now you can see the beauty of this responsibility.  A radical truth.  You are responsible.  It’s time to play with the wise wizards like Nikola Tesla and Albert Einstein and know that you are fully supported, growing, expanding as you explore and create a new way of being for yourself.  

THE DELICATE FAERY AND HER FERRETS

Sometimes the transition between one cycle or stage and another is easy, fluid, flowing, and smooth.  At other times it is rough, harsh, cruel, and painful.  It is inevitable that, if we are truly alive, we will experience discomfort and challenges when confronted by the unfamiliar.  This is no curse – it is evidence of wisdom being taught to us.  

We change.  We alter ourselves.  We adapt.  We choose.  We become.  You are now being shown a way and the gifted magickal tools to strengthen yourself while you develop your skills.  You are also being sent a trusted companion to guide you through the deep forests of change.  You feel very vulnerable, and there is fear in your heart.  But why would there not be?  Life is full of transitions, shifts, and epic moments when we can choose between our best self and the tired, conditioned, most often deflated self.  In these time of change, there is no map, no guidebook, no previous knowledge to comfortably fall back on.  

One cycle has ended.  When a cycle changes or when we choose to create change courageously be challenging our limited self-beliefs, questioning our attachments to “truths”, or releasing our attachment to the way in which our lives “should” manifest, we are, either by choice or by contract, undergoing an initiation.  A new friend, advisor, or piece of information will empower you.  You must now shift the focus from what you fear to what you wish to become and face what it is that is frightening you needlessly.

It will not kill you.  It might hurt a bit, but results will make it worth it!

Finding Your Centre in Dark Times and How the New Moon can Help You.

Happy Magickal, Marvellous, Melancholy, Majestical, Maddening, Merry, Manifesting Monday!  

It’s the last Monday of February, this month has flown by fast, unlike January!

If you have worked with me, you will know that I am blunt, speak the truth as I am told it, and am also highly compassionate.  So you ready to go a bit deeper?  As quite frankly “fluffy” conversations bore the snot out of me.

So let me ask.  How are you doing?  I mean really doing? What’s happening in your body?  Your energy field?  Your heart and soul?

Do you feel that the world is going to hell in a handbasket?  Because let’s be honest we are still in the middle of a massive pandemic and I know quite a few people who are struggling with the choices of what to do around that, or the effects of it. 

We are advised “everything is going back to normal”, but let’s be honest – WTF is normal right now?  (Normal is a delicious palette to create something better in my opinion).

And now we have Russia invading Ukraine!

I will be honest, when that happened last week my heart hurt and there was a sense of really, WTF!  I’m sure you share the heaviness in my heart at what’s happening in Ukraine and in so many places around the world. We humans know how to make a mess, don’t we?  As always, whenever I feel powerless I redouble my efforts to put my work out into the world to help people live more empowered lives so they can pass on that healing. 

Quite a few of my clients and friends shared all the feelings they are having at the moment.  Ranging from anger, fear, grief, confusion, overwhelm and anxiety, and ancestral memory which is in your bones and your DNA.

A  few of them wanted to normalise all of those feelings and stuff them into a box and put them in the bottom of the closet. All of which I totally understand.  

But let me ask, what do you do when things flood up like that and knock you sideways? When things feel dark and not comfortable?

It’s normal to dive into the fight, flight, freeze response, or more commonly the overwhelm, shut down and tune everything out.  Yeah, those work for a wee bit, but they aren’t the solution.

More than ever this is the time to ground, to feel your feet on the earth and release all the sticky, icky bits down to turn into cosmic compost.  This is the time to connect to a daily practice that nourishes and supports you – whether that is prayer, meditation, journaling, walking in nature.  It’s the time to reconnect to your light.  That gorgeous spark inside you that burns strong and true.  

This is the time to be gentle with yourself and not try and “logic” your way out of the feelings, but do things that bring you joy and allow that dis-quiet and dis-ease to flow through you.   And to breathe into them and allow them to be transmuted in the flame of your inner light.  

When we stand with our feet on the earth, grounded, heart up and open, realise we are all in this together and welcome in support, magick and miracles happen. 

Because remember – we are all interdependent and interconnected.  

We are all part of a Divine EcoSystem and Community.  

And when you feel like you have no control over what is happening around you, remember the Serenity Prayer.  “Grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the Courage to change the things I can and the Wisdom to know the difference.”

This all ties into the energy of the New Moon in Pisces that happens on March 2nd.  

“At the time of the New Moon the sky goes dark, not even a small crescent of the Moon can yet be seen. Darkness has always been synonymous with the creative feminine that lives within all of us. It is in the darkness that creative energy is at its highest. It is in the darkness that we often feel safe enough to become our true selves and where our deepest emotions are often set free.

Under the March 2nd Pisces New Moon, we may be feeling close to the darkness. We may find ourselves journeying through the shadows, or coming face to face with whatever has been dwelling in the hidden corners of our heart, mind, and soul.

It is easy to be afraid of the dark as it can often stir things that we don’t wish to confront. But this confrontation is often necessary to lead a richer and fuller life. This confrontation is often necessary to discover ourselves on a deeper level and to move past our blocks and barriers.

There is a strength that can be found when we allow ourselves to sit in the dark. Just think of the seed. As it is submerged into the dark soil, it really has just been positioned to grow and flourish into something new and grand. The same can be said for us.

Darkness is also the foundation for the magical energies of creation and manifestation. It is in the darkness that energy can be morphed into something. It is in the darkness that new life takes hold.

Under the energies of the March New Moon, we may feel gently guided to sit with the darkness within. This may require us to confront something deeper, or allow us to connect with the energy of magic and creation.”

There is a strong emphasis under this March 2022 Pisces New Moon to take the time to think about our past and what we can learn, or what we need to move on from.

So when I went to the cards and asked who wanted to guide and share this week, The Earth Warriors Oracle stepped up front and centre, there was no doubt.  So if these guides are new to you, please let me introduce them.  They are frigging perfect for this time!  

“Earth Warriors are the healers and transformational leaders for a more beautiful world.  They destabilise the status quo with their innovative attitude and higher consciousness, defying convention and living from the heart…….they seek love as their leader and wisdom as their guide…..they know what is true in their own hearts, and they refuse to be conditioned by mass consciousness into fear, apathy, complacency or overwhelm and despair. 

There is a river flowing now very fast.  It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid.  They will try to hold on to the shore.  They will feel they are torn apart and will suffer greatly.  Know the river has its destination.  The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above water.  And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate.  At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves.  For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.  The time for the lone wolf is over.  Gather yourselves!  Banish the word “struggle” from your attitude and your vocabulary.  All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.  We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”

Phew!  Okay my gorgeous bean, I’ve chuntered on enough (if you’ve read this far).  Let’s crack on with the reading.  

Take a big exhale out through your mouth, let that old energy just flow out of your body.  Then a glorious slow inhale through your nose, long and deep – let it fill all the cracks and crevices within you with cooling, soothing darkness.  Then exhale with a sigh.  Keep breathing this way as you invite into your mind’s eye the sense of release and the sense of a glorious tapestry that is a web connecting us all together.  Let this whisper into the cracks and crevices in your being and when you are ready, pick the card or cards that tickle at the edges of your mind.

Though you yearn for peace, you recognise that, without truth, genuine peace can never be.  Even if it triggers an upheaval of transformation, the need to set things right is strong in you.  This is the inner drive of the spiritual warrior, the compelling soul need to uphold truth, goodness and justice.  You will fight for these things because that is your way, Spirit Warrior.  Trust, see and feel the positive impact that you are making in the world.  You are relentless and the Divine is within you.  

Do not give up.  If you feel hopelessness, despair, defeat or frustration, and you wonder if it is really worth it, place your mind in your heart and your heart in awareness of what it is that is inspiring you.  Do you feel alone on your quest?  Look for the legions of beings in spirit and upon the earth that fight alongside you, fearless and ferocious with love.  Be uplifted by your fellow Spirit Warriors, beloved one.  Feel the joy of their love and unity with you.  You have access to the divine power that conquers any obstacle, wins every battle, and secures every victory.

The Spirit Warrior doesn’t have a violent soul, but does have a powerful energy and a great need to put that energy to good use as an effective action-oriented presence for higher consciousness on earth.  The Spirit Warrior within you needs to feel that your life is dedicated to something meaningful and magnificent, to witness the positive difference that you are creating through your actions.  Don’t allow others to stop you from unleashing this beautiful divine masculine spirit power in your mind, your soul and our world.  We need you!!

Seek what feels true, even beyond the logical.  If something doesn’t feel right, challenge it and dig deeper.  Educate and inform yourself on matters of importance to you.  Trust tat your mind is strong and bright enough to do this.  Enhance your self-esteem by researching for information and trusting your intuition to help you discern what is useful and true.  Have faith in your own mental abilities.  If others have criticised you or made you feel inadequate in understanding, cast that off as belonging to the past and not relevant to you now.  You will become immune to manipulation by others, who may be convincing but not necessarily accurate or helpful.  Trust the power of your mind to receive and recognise the answers that you need.  You will find your way.  

Test all opinions, advice, research and alleged facts according to your own intuition and instinct.  Select that which is helpful for you and notice that which is best case aside, even if just for a time.  Seek information and assistance from those that you feel can assist you – and yet place no human advisor above the ultimate, divine authority, which will guide you on how to proceed through a deep inner knowing.  There is always new knowledge beyond existing boundaries of thought.  We simply need to be open and willing to receive it with patience, discernment and trust in the greater guiding power.  

An answer is coming, an important piece of information, and that when you are centred in your heart you will recognise that for what it is and and know how to proceed  If you have ever been put down or judged as not being clever enough, or if your intellect has been worshipped and encouraged at the expense of the intuitions of your heart.  There are many ways of knowing, and we are all unique in our particular combinations of intellect, instinct, intuition and insight.  You have been created exactly as you were meant to be for sacred purpose.  The judgement of others – for better or worse – are meaningless.  

What matters is that you find your own best way of sensing truth, honouring when something doesn’t feel right and moving forward when something rings true.

Happy Merry, Magickal, Miraculous, Magnetic, Manifesting, Moony Monday!

Happy Love day!  

Yup, today is Valentine’s Day (a deliciously made up Hallmark celebration),  where apparently for one day a year we celebrate romantic love (you really don’t want to hear my thoughts on this at all lol).  

I don’t know about where you live, but here all the stores (even the grocery ones) are filled to the brim with chocolates, roses, orchids and smelly cheeses!  Apparently, if you are in love these are the food groups you should eat and the objects that you should surround yourself with!  Lol.  

But what if your Love Language isn’t about gifts and objects?  What if your Love Language is about acts of service, time spent together, having a fabulous hug or snuggle?  How does a box of choccies and a bunch of commercial roses fill those needs?

I will be honest, for myself I much prefer, instead of a bunch of flowers, give me some bags of dirt, some plants and then let me play!  Or better yet, clean my windows and make me a cuppa tea, or cook me a nice dinner!  

Personally I find Valentine’s Day irritates me, not because I don’t believe in love, but why on earth do we need just one day where we are meant to be loving, and why is it only focused on romantic love?  

What if you aren’t in a romantic relationship?  What if you’ve lost your partner?  I mean for criminies sake, why aren’t we celebrating all forms of love – family, friends, community, nature, spiritual and most importantly self love?  

Because, let’s be honest – without self love and appreciation for your own gorgeous being, you don’t have anything!  (And NO self love is NOT selfish!)  Had to clear that up as one of my clients a while ago said that they felt selfish taking time for themselves and doing something nurturing. 

Self-love is all about nourishing your mind, spirituality, and physical body. Try to aim at all three of these to create a more well-rounded self-care plan. Focus on activities you get excited about doing. This is all about you after all, if it doesn’t give you a little thrill, why bother? 

So what are you going to do for yourself this week, to acknowledge how special and wonderful you are?

Here’s a lovely, easy candle ritual for self love for you to do – it can also be done for the Full Moon.  

On Wednesday we welcome in the Full Moon in Leo, also known as The Snow Moon.  The spiritual meaning of February’s Snow Full Moon is a powerful time for hope, change, creativity, growth, and magic! 

“One of the gifts that this Full Moon offers us is also the energy of lightness. It reminds us to soften our being and to focus on creating joy. Being in a state of joy is one of the fastest ways to connect us with the Divine, and the path of our highest destiny.”

The path of joy and the path of purpose are very often intertwined. By following one, we eventually find our way to the other.

So this week, take some time for yourself (self care) and really breathe into who you are, what you hope for, and what brings YOU joy.  Light your candle, set your intentions and smile!  Enjoy the vibrations of this Full Moon, and use its energy to create a balance between your masculine and feminine sides, and to support creating more passion and joy in your life.

Okay dear heart, just settle into yourself.  Allow your breath to find it’s natural rhythm.  Just breathe into all the corners of your glorious being, and allow in your mind’s eye a glorious vortex to start swirling.  As it opens, see it filled with love, all sorts of love and allow it to soothe you and to remind you that you are love incarnate.  Then when you’re ready pick the card or cards that dance around your heart.

BLESSING TO BEGIN

You are being given a divine “leg up”, a blessing to begin.  The Divine is going to help you launch something important – an idea, a seedling of hope, a new start.  It may feel as though something is being handed to you, as though the Divine is offering you some sacred help.  Don’t fall  into the trap of believing that because it is easy in the beginning it is not worthwhile or important.  It is!!!

Sometimes we get an infusion of divine energy into a start-up to get it going because the Divine knows how important it is and wants to give us a helping hand.  Accept the help and opportunity that so easily comes your way now, but also remember that you are being given help because there is something of great worth here.  

If you are asking about being ready to start something, be that a project or even a new relationship, an expansion in your family or a new training program, this is your affirmation and validation from higher guidance.  Whatever stage you are at in the manifestation of your dreams, be it the earliest glimmer of a vision or one that you have invested decades of your life to and on which you are far along the path, the gift of the Mother is bestowed upon you – her red poppy of success.  

Take a step.  You have been thinking about it.  Do it.  It may be an actual journey or a new class, a new habit or speaking the truth to others about something meaningful to you.  Or it may be an opportunity that is about to sweep in unexpectedly.  The Divine will protect and assist you and in taking a step, you open up avenues for the universe to bless you with all manner of resources and assistance.  The assurance and blessing of the Divine Mother empowers your own soul to take even the most apparently impossible or intimidating of prospects and turn them into accomplishments whilst growing in self-confidence and self-mastery.

So believe in yourself.  The Divine Mother does.

GRANDMOTHER DRAGONFLY HOLDS THE WISDOM

Sometimes there is benefit in focusing on the new, seeking out untried paths, developing untapped resources and exploring possibilities.  The intoxication of hope, inspiration and optimism combined can be hard to resist.  However, if fear, boredom or lack of commitment is beneath the quest for new adventures, if we are believing that what we need or want is always just beyond the next horizon, or that somehow the grass is greener in the next field rather than where we stand, we may be dissuaded from applying ourselves to the worthwhile tasks before us right now. 

If we are an imaginative and visionary type of personality, we may rebel against the mundane tasks of applying ourselves daily to bring an idea to life.  We may become seduced by the constant thrill of coming up with new ideas, entranced with the promise of something new.   However, if we were to stop and look clearly at what we already have in our lives, we could realise that there is much of value waiting to be put to use.

The sunflower holds wisdom medicine for humanity.  Growing from seed, it sprouts tall with a firm stalk and flexible head that follows the arc of the sun across the daytime sky.  At the end of its life cycle, as the head withers and the plant faces the earth, its vibrant yellow petals collapse, turn brown, releasing its seeds.  These seeds hold the life force of the plant, distilled.  Highly nutritious and supportive of life for future plants and even for human beings, the sunflower’s seeds allow for life to continue to expand and flourish on earth.  

Do not step away from what you are cultivating, even if it seems to have lost its steam, run out of energy or be utterly dead in the water!  There is something within what you have been working on that is going to yield something of great benefit.  There will be much more success, prosperity, happiness and maturing of your ultimate life goals and journey in tending to what is already further along in development than in something new.  Grandmother Dragonfly offers you vision that is wide and unlimited by preconceptions.  You may need to look differently at what you have nurtured and how to tap into what it has become to be able to share it with others and allow its sustaining grace to nourish human life in its own way. You will help people in many and varied ways.  It is all a part of your  natural development and you can trust in it.  

There is no need for you to ever be impatient or doubting of this.

SHE TAMES BY LAYING DOWN THE STAFF AND ROPE

My ways prevail.  I subjugate the lower to the higher without any force.  Through my ways, correct alignment to the higher divine order is established.  My authority is supreme, yet I’ve no need to enforce it.  Devotion to me is absolute, yet I bestow freedom.  I show you now , the whispering way to tame great force.  I initiate you into the way of strength without coercion, the way of attraction without demand.  Follow me and learn the art of feminine power; that fear shall always succumb to love.

There is something that you want to attain.  A situation exists that you would like to change.  It may be something in your way of thinking or being, or a habit of your body or mind.  It may be a pattern within your emotional world, or an actual physical situation or obstacle you wish to change.  Perhaps you want it transformed completely, or perhaps you simply want some of the rough edges smoothed.  

No matter whether it is a small or large change that is desired, you have been attempting to bring it about through exertion of your will.  Now there is a time and place for such approaches. The strength of the human will should never be underestimated.   Yet there is another way, a gentler and more peaceful way, that will evoke little resistance within you and help you attract what you want rather than to have to carve it out of your own blood, sweat and tears.  This is the taming power, the magnetic lure of attraction that can tame even beyond the capacity of will.  

The way of gentleness takes great strength of will.  But it is will that redirects the purshing, striving mind rather than the action of willpower that seeks to mould the physical world or control the people in your life, to have them act as you wish.  It is a way that attracts the devotion of others, and draws to you the aid and support you need, yet you are not required to grasp for such generosity.  

You must be willing to become empty in order to be filled.  You must be willing to accept the very thing you wish to be transformed.  You must be willing to become flexible in order to stay true on the path.  You must be willing to become childlike in order to be wise.  It is in embracing what is that empowers you to transform it.  

You can, of course, choose the other way; to pursue, push and direct.  However, you will find it an uphill battle all the way and it will only get you so far.  This way holds more finesse, attains a greater result and will lead you further along your spiritual path as you learn that the opposites are only an appearance of reality, not reality itself.  

You can then manifest through invitation what is offered from the heart space.  There is no control here; and yet, you will seem to command an army whilst ever your heart is pure and remains true to peace.  

What you want is possible. Striving will create friction where surrender and invitation through love will create affinity with the goal.

Awakening, Discipline and what Birds can Teach you!

Happy Miraculous, Magickal, Majestic, Mellow, Momentous, Mystical, Merry, Mischievous, Marmalade Made Manifesting Monday!  (Had to slip Marmalade in as for me marmalade on a glorious piece of fresh bread toasted – nom, nom, nom!)

So how was your Imbolc, New Moon and Chinese New Year?  

What wee seeds are asking you to pay attention to them?  What stretching and awakening is happening for you?

I have to say for me, Imbolc was really, really nice!  We had a massive feast on the Saturday prior and played Killer Bunnies (all the boys, girlfriends etc) and then on February 1st the time in ritual, making glorious food, really dreaming into the seeds of desire was stupendous!  And unlike January, this week flew by!

Quite  a few of you have emailed or messaged asking “Is Imbolc the DAY of awakening and stretching?”  

Imbolc is the first day of the Season that walks with you until Spring Equinox.  

So let me give you a personal example.  Over the winter time I cocooned, and hibernated (and the weather most certainly complied).  The food I ate was richer and heavier (I hadn’t had a salad in months!), and there was a sense of conception, conception of ideas, thoughts and new ways of being.  But like a good chili, the burbling allowed a gentle melding. 

As Imbolc arrived, that burbling has come to a boil, I can see what the pieces are -ish, and now they are coming to the surface.  Yet it’s still not time to take full frontal action, it’s  time for patience.  It is a time of putting the back pieces into place that will support all those wonderful seeds growth.  Does that make sense?  It’s an awakening.  This is what it means to walk with the Wheel of the Year, or the seasons – your body and soul know far, far better than your mind!

Another example is the garden.  We have had a few days that have been sunny, coolish, but no snow.  I live on the coast so our climate is very different to the interior, or other places.  Yet, I know, the planting of the seeds can’t happen for a wee bit, but what I can do is prepare the space and place for them.  So over the weekend, under a cool winterish sun I have been digging up sod, finding it a new home, and beginning to prepare the beds for what they are going to burgeon with over the summer and into the harvest time of Fall.

Yes?

So to loop back – Imbolc is when you allow yourself to gently awaken.  To dream into place the seeds you want to plant for this year (irrelevant of what the news is spewing at you).  What is your Truth?  What are your Desires?  Work with the seasons to bring them into being!  

That’s what we do in The Creatrix Circle and when you are grounded and connected, magick and miracles happen.

So let’s talk about Discipline, shall we?

The Shamanic energy shift for this month is “DISCIPLINE”.  

As Lena shares – Hang in there…..be patient…..wait for the right timing…..stay in your own lane.

This month is all about taking your commitments to the next level of responsible action, staying out of other people’s drama, and trusting the integrity of your intentions to manifest the perfect opportunities when the timing is right.

Preparedness requires the discipline of staying positive and in your truth no matter what. You can go down the rabbit hole of feeling irritated, self-deprecating, impatient with yourself and others, or simply critical and judgmental about everything. Or, you can be disciplined about being your best self; optimistic, generous, kind, compassionate, accepting, and in gratitude. Not everyone will have this outlook on life, so it is best if part of your discipline this month includes being discerning about where and whom you spend time with.

The distractions of drama, addictive behaviors, overthinking, ambivalence, obsession, blame, and wishing it were different than it is are all part of ego’s determination to keep you from moving forward into the opportunities you can create for yourself. The discipline is much about not listening to the negative voice that wishes to keep you small and limited………..

So do you see how that ties in with the energy of Imbolc?

To add to that, I acquired about 120 new friends this last week!

No, I am not talking about humans, but crows.  

Now, if you have been with me a while, you will know I normally get one crow who hangs out, scares away unpleasant people and brings me gifts.  Well………. This week I have had over 100 crows visit everyday.  The noise is huge!  

They come swooping in in drifts and march around over the garden, the lawn, the railings, you name it!  They chunter away, hop around, come natter from the back deck railing and then fly up to the sky in a swath of black, swirl around and come back.  I have to say – I love it!  (Yes, I could happily wander around with a crow on my shoulder lol).

But what does that mean?  For me, you never mess with Crows (they remember your face!).  The Crow for a long time has been a symbol of Magic.  It’s said that the Crow holds within its mind’s eye the three realities: past, present and future.  For me, Crow energy is potent and very clear.  So what are the birds that resonate for you?  What are their messages?

So as I allow the gentle stretching and awakening I feel very thrilled to have Crows coming and hanging out!  

Okay, I have chuntered a ton (not a surprise), so let’s crack on with the reading.  When I went to the cards and asked who would like to guide this week, the glorious Faery Forest Oracle were adamant, which made me smile a lot.  If this deck is new to you please let me introduce your guides (as that is always polite).  “Let us enter the wild green world together, friend, the faery forests where the great trees speak with us, the moss soft underfoot, the light pure and gentle.  The homes of the once Sacred groves of the Celts, the Saxons, and the Vikings…and to the people who were here long before we had names with which to call them to us – the faerie people.  May the wild green world and the wondrous beings of this Faery Forest heal us, inspire us and urge us all to become more who we truly are meant to be.”

It is time to look forward, to anticipate, and to prepare – for this event may even be taking place simply on an energetic level, as all the beings who have long wished for your wellbeing now gather together to applaud the place where you are right now.

This will be coming for you, and it is in the future, so this is a great omen for you.  It is time for you to put on your finest garments, take the very best goblets and chalices from their dusty hiding laces, and raise a glass of bubbling faery energy to the wonders of life.  

Whatever it may be, it is essential to mark the impending time with joy, applause, and an expression of bounty.  Prepare, be ready, and enjoy, dear one.  You deserve all that this exciting and exhilarating occasion heralds, for after the effort, comes the reward.  Soon it will be yours.

THE WILD HUNT

There is, for all of us, a moment when excitement and nerves fuse, when we prepare to journey and do something we have anticipated for a long time.  In the faery realm, this sensation is created by adventure known as the Wild Hunt.  This is a gathering which takes place not only within the realm of faery, it is one where the faery king and queen lead faery hounds and faery horses on a hunt throughout the countryside, dipping into and out of the faery lands, surfacing in the human worlds from time to time, cleansing toxic energy, allowing natural forces to begin to flow through the cleared energy paths, awakening the wild world to brightest life once again, and leaving a trail of ecstasy and bliss after the frenzied storm of their ride.

The Wild Hunt is fierce, powerful, a little frightening, and thoroughly thrilling – and this faery queen is preparing herself for the joys and challenges of this great springtime event.  So too you need to prepare yourself for some chaos – a wild time, when change tears through and upends all the order you have attached yourself to.  You may need to pack, travel, find ways to move quickly, stop planning and organising for a moment and just go on an immensely enjoyable ride of your life.

The time coming for you is delirious in its excitement, and you fear this loss of control and order.  But truly, it will refresh you, just as it sears the very edges of your nerves!  Dress up, show up, and prepare to be amazed!  Take a deep breath, find your voice, and begin to cry out at the top of your lungs.  You are alive my friend, and will feel so more than ever before when the wild hunt touches your life!

THE GOLDEN UNICORN

Everyone deserves to have another person in their life to whom they can turn for protection and care.  When this card comes for you, the Golden Unicorn is showing you the path to a person, advisor, or mentor who will assist you through the challenges you are now facing.  When the Golden Unicorn appears, it is a beacon of hope, for with the right guidance, what seems to be impossible can be achieved, and you will no longer feel so raw, vulnerable, and unable to go on.
