New Moon in Aquarius

Chinese New Year – Let’s Welcome in the Wood Dragon……..and so much more!

Jenny Heston · 3:33 pm ·

Happy Miraculous, Magickal, Majestic, Mellow, Momentous, Mystical, Merry, Mischievous, Marmalade Made Manifesting Monday!

(Had to slip Marmalade in as for me marmalade on a glorious piece of fresh bread toasted – nom, nom, nom!)

Okay delicious lovely, grab a cuppa as we have lots to cover this week!

We are talking about the energy of February, which is about “Building the Foundation”.  (And if you remember January was all about creating your Vision.)  On February 9th we have the Aquarius New Moon, and the next day on the 10th we say goodbye to the Year of the Rabbit and welcome in the auspicious Year of the Wood Dragon!

Now, I don’t know about you but I am super pumped about all that is transpiring.

I have been dancing with my vision (which is rock solid clear) and putting the finishing touches to a collaborative programme with the wonderful Lisa Wolfe.  And on Chinese New Year, we will open up applications to join The Numinous Circle, an incredible 9 month container.

I’ve also finalised the Mastery and Manifestation 3 month container, as well as mapped out 12 amazing Master Classes for the year!  And last but not least there is a Sacred Site retreat coming in the Fall of this year! And changes happening in The Creatrix Circle – phew.

So can you say Hell Yes!  – as I am.

I have been dancing with Vision and Foundation to the nth degree, as I am most certainly a Dragon and I am stepping forth loud and fucking proud!

So what does Building the Foundation mean? Let’s let Lena explain that one:

“When creating a new structure, a good strong foundation is a necessary first step in the process. When we are dreaming up and envisioning the end-result, the foundation is not what we usually focus on in our vision. However, if you don’t have a solid foundation, you don’t have a solid structure.

January was focused on having a vision and making a plan. Now it is time to commit to the vision and the plan and follow through with building the foundation for your vision to manifest.

This foundation is not a literal one but rather an energetic one that includes your body, mind and spirit, as well as parts of your physical environment that support who you are.”

This monthly energy theme, ties into the Aquarius New Moon energy.

This Aquarius New Moon invites you to look at your feelings of security and what makes you feel secure and safe so you can really thrive in this world.

If we look at where these feelings of security and comfort are in our own bodies, we can begin to see a link between how small or large our life is.

The more confident, secure, and safe we feel, the more likely we are to expand our wings, take chances, and live more fully. The less confident, secure, or safe we feel, the more likely we will play it small.

So lots of stuff, especially around freedom or lack of, sense of tribe and community or lack of, and feeling of hope, prosperity and expansion, or lack of may come up.

Thus, harness both the monthly energy and the moon energy (yet alone the Dragon energy, which we will get to in a moment), to make some changes.

Changes that stick and allow you to tap into your inner warrior, learn, study, grow – whatever you need to.

Now for my most favourite piece – The Year of the Wood Dragon.

Interestingly enough in my family, all the females for 8 generations are Dragons.  None of the males.

Think about it, Dragon only happens once every twelve years and somewhere amidst that calculation the women chose to embody that energy!  Muhahaha.

So what does the Wood Dragon year bring to you?

Dragon is the only animal in the Chinese zodiac that is not of the mundane earthly world. It has the highest vision and broadest reach – they soar the highest and furthest. It’s a year to look beyond the confines and to dream big, to envision the future we want. Getting clarity on our purpose or mission is essential.

Dragon years are considered very auspicious. Symbolizing power, inner strength and courage, this is a year to actively step into our power and nobility and allow our gifts, talents and true medicine to shine out.

Authenticity is key and is of the highest vibration. We are asked to believe in ourselves, to remember who we are, to find our own authentic story and not anyone else’s.

The exalted Dragon insists on raising the standards, set your goals high for it’s time to really step up.

“Wood energy allows us to grow, expand, and keep our vision on track for the long term. The Season of Spring is connected to the element of Wood, so this year of the Dragon will help us to create new beginnings, plant new seeds, and allow our garden to flourish.

The energy is ripe for new beginnings and undergoing new ventures, but we have to create stability and work from the heart.

Green is connected to the element of wood and the heart-chakra, so in the year of the Dragon, we are going to be constantly reminded to come back to the heart, and to open ourselves to receiving.”

Oh my giddy aunt.  Do you see how all these delicious energies this month fold together?  And how they all weave with the 8 energy of this year?  (For those of  you who chose an Opening the Door reading you will really know what I’m talking about!)

So there we have it honey.  I hope you brought a cuppa and did take time to read, as this is the time to finally make the changes you have talked about sweets.

Enough chuntering, let’s crack on with the reading.

These are glorious new guides who insisted on coming to play, which was most interesting as they have been with me for 6 months.

Thus, let me introduce you – These are the wardens to help you deepen into your self-awareness, especially in relation to nature.  These are the stewards and the guardians.  They are here to guide you, protect  you as much as you are called to do the same for them.  Allow the natural world to weave into your day to day, open your eyes to what surrounds you and open your heart to receiving.

So my darling one, take a moment to just breathe.  Just let the energy of Foundation, Clarity and Expansiveness fill your body and your mind.  Allow your inner light and spark to rise up to meet it and meld with it.  See you Vision, allow it to wrap around you like a glorious blanket and make you smile.

Then when you are ready pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

Did you remember to pick?

Ready to meet your new guides?

THE BOAR AND THE PUMPKIN

Confidence

With their winding vines and large, heavily seeded fruit pumpkins signify abundance, health, and resilience.

But think of the pumpkin – each one is full of seeds, all carrying the seed of potential and creation.

Meanwhile, the fierce and intelligent boar is known for its sharp tusks and aggressive movements.

The boar invites you to step into the place  of Strength and Power,

Boars are associated with strength, power, and resilience. Their robust and fearless nature symbolise the ability to overcome challenges and obstacles.

So what happens when we combine pumpkin with boar?

It’s time to claim your confidence.  Embrace who you are and what you know and allow any insults of attempts to damage your morale to roll off your back.

You are thick skinned like a pumpkin and courageous like a boar.

Ask yourself:

What accomplishments am I proud of?

How can I improve my confidence and sense of worth?

THE DEER AND THE OAT

Healing

The shy and gentle fallow deer is known for its white spots and the broad, velvety antlers it sheds and regrows each year.

Deer bring in the energy of gentleness, innocence, and a peaceful nature.  Deer also invite  you into vigilance.

Not OCD vigilance, but the attention that needs to be paid to the boundaries around you and what you are allowing in.  Thus, encouraging you to stay attuned to your surroundings and inner self.

Similarly, oats are symbols of restorative nutrition.

Even in poor soil, oats can flourish, providing hearty sustenance.

You are being invited to rest and recharge.

Moderation and mindfulness are key as you recover from any trauma or a period of intense exertion.

Ask yourself:

How do I rest and recharge?

What practices nourish my soul?

THE PORCUPINE AND ANEMONE

Boundaries

The porcupine, with its impressive quills, is a well-known symbol of self-defense

According to a legend common among the Anishinaabe tribes, the porcupine got its quills by placing the branches of a hawthorn tree on its back, defending itself against the bear.

Nanabozho – the trickster spirit in Ojibwe myth – saw the porcupine’s cleverness and fashioned it a coat of quills to wear from then on.

Just as the porcupine curls into a ball to defend itself from predators, the anemone flower turns inward and down during rainstorms, protecting its delicate petals from damage.

You can’t help others unless you first help yourself.

Maintain healthy boundaries around your time and energy, giving generously only once you are sufficiently fed.

Ask yourself:

How can I ensure my needs are met?

Have I established healthy boundaries around my time and energy?

Do I respect the boundaries of others?

Wowzers!  Oh my gosh, I love these guides and they tie in so well!  Which one did you pick, or did you go for all?  Sending you big hugs gorgeous one, please, please step all the way into these energies and come dance with me in the field of infinite possibilities.  Your being, your light, your heart is needed!

It’s the first New Moon of 2023 and Chinese New Year!

We are talking about the energy of January, which is Acceptance and Discernment (and if you remember last week’s reading we explored the energy of 2023, which is a 7 year and invites you to step into your soul life and showing up as your true self).

We are also celebrating that Mars has gone direct and Mercury does near the end of this week as well!  Whoot!

Then the fabulous icing on the cake is we welcome the first New Moon of 2023 and this delicious lovely New Moon is in Aquarius,  and  Chinese New Year is always at the first new moon of the year – so you may need to grab a biccie or two to dunk with your tea!

Let’s let talk about the energy of January and the best person to do it is Lena.

The themes for this month are: “ACCEPTANCE-DISCERNMENT”.

“We started the year with a neon sign telling us to SLOW DOWN.

Slow everything down, go inward, rest more, keep a “don’t know mind” about everything, reflect, feel, process, and align your heart with your mind.

Acceptance, one of the traits of the year, will be of great help in keeping frustration, impatience and irritability at bay. Resistance will only cause suffering and keep you from being fully present for the actual opportunities that a time like this has to offer.

The Discernment theme of the month will help in your choices of what to keep on your plate and what to push until later or discard completely. Once the energy shifts (around the new moon on the 21st) to a more active time, discernment will be crucial in your decisions about what to take on and move forward with and what no longer fits with who you are.”

Hold those pieces of Acceptance and Discernment in the back of your mind as we move onto the New Moon energy, okay?

Fresh energy flows from the cosmic skies under the Aquarius New Moon.

Arriving on January 21st, this New Moon is a gentle time to plant seeds, set intentions, and consider all you would like to draw close to you.

So let’s unpack this a tad, every moon has energy based on the sign that they are in and what type of moon they are.  New Moon is a time of planting seeds and Aquarius has the energy of making this a very potent window for manifesting your highest vision for your future since Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, planet of future outcomes.

Aquarius calls upon us to develop our ideas so they don’t just remain pipe dreams.

However, this isn’t a push energy, there is a need to move with awareness, to be gentle with ourselves, and to ultimately, not put so much pressure on ourselves.  (See how it ties in with the 7 energy of the year, and the January energy of Acceptance and Discernment?)

“Setting intentions and crafting goals can be beneficial to shift your life into greater alignment. It can fill you with a sense of purpose and bring meaning to your day-to-day life. Setting intentions and putting your wishes out to the Universe are great tools that can yield positive results, but there is a call under this New Moon to be gentle in your approach.”

Thus, if we look at the energy of this month and it’s all about acceptance and then work that with the energy of the New Moon.  Woosah!

It’s as if we have received glorious seed packets from the cosmos.  So we gently release a few seeds of desire, purpose, plenty and passion into our palm and give them the loving, gentle, nurturing that they need – and then watch what happens!

This Sunday, January 22nd is Chinese New Year, the Year of the Water Rabbit! (Also known as the Black Rabbit).

I don’t know about you but I love bunnies and rabbits, in fact we have so many wild bunnies frolicing around here it’s fabulous!  It sometimes makes me feel that I am living in a Beatrix Potter story!

The rabbit symbolises patience, luck and hope.  Which is perfect after a very tumultuous Year of the Tiger.

As you may or not be aware, I love to celebrate!

So Chinese New Year is a time of filling up little red envelopes with money and distributing them along with oranges!  (Yes some of my neighbours may think I am totally bat shit crazy when I knock on their door with a red envelope and orange in hand).  Red envelopes or hongbao in Mandarin and lai see in Cantonese, are a symbol of good luck and in Chinese culture the colour red is associated with energy, happiness and good luck.

Why the oranges?  Two of the most common food symbols of the Chinese New Year are tangerines and oranges. Whereas tangerines represent wealth, oranges are a popular symbol of good luck. … Oranges and tangerines are a traditional favourite, though, and can also represent happiness and abundance, as in an abundant harvest.

So why not run around the neighbourhood gifting red envelopes and oranges?

We also prepare a gorgeous Chinese feast of amazing foods and spend time eating, laughing and playing games. As I have two Rabbits in my family, we are going to have fun!

So let me ask.  Are you seeing how all the energies are melding?

When I asked the cards who wanted to come support, guide and lead this week I was tickled to see it was the glorious guides of the Sacred Forest.    Now if these guides are new to you, let me introduce you.

“At the edge of the mind awaits the holy wilderness of the soul.  It beckons you, like a great forest filled with vast mysteries and wonders.  While this mystical realm exists in a higher dimension, beyond normal reality, it is real nevertheless.  To enter this mystical realm, it’s simply a matter of having an open heart and an open mind.

In this healing and holy place, long-sought answers to your deepest questions become known.  Ancient wisdom emerges.  Revelations about your future are revealed.  Hidden talents and abilities are activated with you.  It’s a place where miracles unfold, and your spirit can fly.  In the deepest sense you remember who you are. “

Perfect guides for this week!  Whoot!

So my darling one, slow it down, take a breath and pause.   Let the energy of Acceptance and Discernment swirl around, then gently pour in the energy of this New Moon and sprinkle the whole lot with the Rabbit energy of peace, luck and hope.

What does your heart need?  What does your soul want?  Breathe that in.  Then when you are ready pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

If you need a wee bit more to help you get into the zone, I have a wee guided visualisation for you – let’s go play in a boat.

Did you remember to pick?

Let’s go have a look.

GUARDIANS OF THE LAND

Protection

“You are safe”.  These words seem to emerge from the land and radiate from the trees to echo in your soul.  You hear these words again and again.  The Sacred Guardians of the Land are whispering to you, “You are safe.”

You know that you are protected and cared for.  You can feel tendrils of their loving energy wrap around you and embrace you.  Their unleashed power cocoons you in safety.

You are enough, just as you are.  No matter what has happened or occurred in the past, the truth is that you are absolutely and unconditionally enough as you are.

You are loved.  You are cherished.

Do not be concerned about outside forces and the judgments and expectations of others.  You are protected in your own energy field.  But do please remember to protect your energy.  While the Guardians of the Land will help out, you must also be responsible for your own well-being.

Envision a protective shield around yourself and around your home.  Spend time with people and in situations that uplift your energy rather than draining it.

You are safe and surrounded by a protective shield.  You are not alone; your life is guided and protected by higher forces.  Within this you can soar to great heights.

BLUEBELL FAIRY

Gratitude

The early morning forest is shrouded in low lying mists.  As you step into the meadow, you glimpse heavenly blue flowers seeming to float above the mist.  Their deep colour draws you closer.  Each bell-shaped blossom bows down on its stem, as if in prayer, humility; or gratitude.

Gratitude is the secret to a joy filled life.  True thankfulness can work like modern day alchemy, yielding happiness and peace beyond imagination.

And it’s so simple:  Find what’s good and wonderful in every moment.    No matter what’s happening around you, there’s always something to be grateful for.

Whatever you appreciate in life will grow, so discover what you’re thankful for – even the people and situations you’ve found challenging – and watch miracles unfold.

The Universe is grateful for you!

Appreciation for everything flows through you in great bounty.  Cherish the preciousness of life and everyone and everything around you, and miracles will abound.  In addition to gratitude, bluebells are thought to symbolise humility.  As you step into the soft, gentle energy of humbleness, you’ll find that your gratitude for even the smallest things in life expands.

Bluebells open the door to magic.  Legends describe “ringing” the bluebell, like you would a bell, in order to bring faeries to you.  In the spring, bluebells grow throughout the woodlands in a lush carpet, and you can feel the magic by being near.

DRAGONFLY SPIRIT

Change

You watch the dragonfly whisk across the surface of the forest pond with elegance and grace.  Her iridescent wings and body shine in a kaleidoscope of colours, depending on how the light falls on her.  She hovers, flies backward, and even darts upside down with seeming delight.

It’s all right to change directions.  It’s okay to change your mind.  You do not need to be consistent at every turn.

This is the time to put the traditions and expectations of others aside.  Instead, you are called to create  your own traditions!  You are free to express yourself and let your spirit fly.

Dragonflies are acrobats of the sky.  Not only can they fly backward, they fly upside down and turn 360 degrees….and while looking graceful as they do so.  Dragonfly Spirit urges you to take on her same fearless daring.

Go beyond predictable behaviour.  Just because something has always been done a certain way doesn’t mean that it needs to continue to be done that way.  While you can’t control the exact circumstances of your life, you can control what meaning you give to them.

Select meanings that empower you, for this is the time to be carefree, wild, and unpredictable.

Dragonflies are ancient, taking to the skies 300 – 350 million years ago.  They have adapted through millennia and thus survived when many creatures have not.  These masters of change are a reminder that change will heal you.

Be willing to change  your perspective, and glorious fortune will follow.  Sometimes you need to back up to go forward.  As people get older, they find it harder to change, so to activate youthfulness, be willing to make changes without hesitation.

Okay, have to say, perfect guides to meld with the glorious energies we have been discussing!

Wishing you a stupendous week of really uncovering your true self and dancing with that self with acceptance.  Big hugs and squeezes.

Valentine’s, New Moon in Aquarius and Year of the Ox! Whoot!

Jenny Heston · 1:06 am ·

Hello my darling one!  Happy Magestic, Magickal, Merry, Marvelous, Magnificent, Manifesting Monday!  How are you?  How’s your Mercury retrograde going?

Valentine’s day is approaching and the stores are jammed with heart shaped boxes of choccies, little stuffies holding hearts, cookie roses – you name it.  All in the name of Valentine’s Day.  Have to say it drives me bonkers!  Why do we mark this one day out to celebrate love and why only romantic love?  Personally I feel we should celebrate love in all its forms daily.

Let’s be honest Valentine’s Day has now become a Hallmark celebration, thanks to Chaucer in the 14th century.  His poem “Parliament of Fowls”, written in the late 14th century describes a group of birds which gather together in the early spring – on ‘seynt valentynes day‘ – to choose their mates for the year.

Hence the hallmark holiday which has turned the day into being all about romantic love which can be tough for people if they have lost someone, choose to be single or just want something different.  According to legend, Saint Valentine restored sight to the blind daughter of his judge, and he wrote her a letter signed “Your Valentine” as a farewell before his execution. The Feast of Saint Valentine was established by Pope Gelasius I in AD 496 to be celebrated on February 14 in honour of the Christian martyr, Saint Valentine of Rome, who died on that date in AD 269.

So I’ve perked what I want to do for Valentine’s and how I want to share and spread love to those I know and those I don’t, is what I did last year.  Meringues!!!  Little wee meringue nests filled with whipped cream and topped with a raspberry and then bundled up and gifted to those I know and those I don’t and those who are living in tents.

Why?  Because I believe it is important to remind people that they are loved, seen, valued and important, even people you don’t know that you walk past on the street.  So if any of you want to come over and help meringues, please do and if you know how to make tin foil swans – let me know.

On Thursday we have a lovely New Moon in Aquarius and at the time of this New Moon we have a Stellium, which is where the Sun, the Moon, Venus, Jupiter and Mercury all in the sign of Aquarius.  Can you say one huge energy field?

The last time we had strong Aquarian energy like this was back in the ’60s and it coincided with the hippie counterculture movement. All the things that this movement stood for- equality, peace, and community, are all very much linked to the energy of Aquarius.

Use this energy to raise your vibration, not just for your own wellbeing, but for the wellbeing of all. This is a time to raise your vibration and use it to send healing love to the entire planet.

Your light is so needed. Your soul is here as a chosen one to bring about the shift of consciousness that is slowly unfolding. The shift is inevitable, it is just your opportunity now to ride the wave.  Remember, what you focus on expands, so set your dreams and wishes high and outside the box!!!

Have fun playing in this wonderful energy field and create some New Moon wishes!

Friday brings us Chinese New Year and we enter the Year of the Ox.  (I love Chinese New Year and we celebrate it full out with little red envelopes, a glorious feast and all sorts).

Ox can save us from disaster, and help reconstruct because Ox is a builder.

So Ox year is the time to follow through and bring to completion what was started in Rat year. Establish a routine, use tried-and-true methods, and stay with a structure that can bring a bountiful harvest in autumn. Daring new concepts will not be well received. So think back to anything you started last year and work methodically and with discipline on it this year.

So with all that being said – let’s crack on with the reading.  When I went to the cards to ask who wanted to share their wisdom and insight with you this week, the glorious “Love Your Inner Goddess” guides came out big and bold.  Now if these are new to you, please let me introduce them (as it would be rude not to).

“These guides have come to help you awaken and express your divine feminine spirit, to live from your heart, to empower your true self – and to discover your sacred rebel within, to say no to the voices of fear and hate and become a voice for love, truth and spirit on the earth.  Living as a soul, with truth, takes real courage in this world.  We are often taught to follow the rules and be a good boy or girl – and that if we do this, everything will be OK.  Your inner goddess thinks that is a bunch of nonsense.  She wants so much more for you.  She wants you to live a beautiful divine destiny.  She will show you how to be a loving rebel, breaking the rules that go against your heart and soul, changing the game and playing from the heart.  She’ll show you how to live the life that is meant only for you.  You are meant to stir up healing change and be a voice for what is wise, loving and true.  There are issues in our own lives and the world that need to change, that need to be healed.  Your inner goddess knows how to bring about healing change with love, playfulness, courage and dignity.  She is a fearless minx who will help you dance, love, storm and laugh your way into a more beautiful world, created from the heart. “

Seriously, the perfect guides for this time.  Woosah!

So gorgeous one, breathe.  Just breathe, BE and allow yourself to relax, your mind to calm, your breath to slow and ask your wise inner self – what do I need to know this week.  Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that tug at your heartstrings – don’t let your mind pick!

Did you remember to pick?

Let’s go have a gander shall we?

DARING DREAMER

You don’t need to adjust your dreams to fit in with what others say is realistic, sensible or practical.  Why seek to limit the power of the Universe with negative expectations?  Be uncompromising with your heart’s wisdom.  Listen to what it wants and yearns for and believe that the Universe has put those desires there and will show you every step to take to fulfil them.  Do not allow someone else to make you feel like you should change who you are or what your heart truly yearns for – not even a tiny bit, not even for one single second!

Our world needs daring dreamers to redefine beauty, success and worth.  We need brave souls to shake up our cultural values so that we stop hurting ourselves and each other.  You can decide what it really means to you to be beautiful, successful and worthy.  That’s how you take back control, disempowering the toxic definitions created by others.

You have the awareness and the power to say no to what is unkind, untrue, unwise.  You get to invite into your life what actually has value to your soul.  Be your divine bad-ass self and give voice to your daring dreams.  Use your positive words of power to express your most beautiful dreams and never give up on those dreams, yourself or the world.

Your vision of what is possible is the healing medicine for our future world and the way to your bliss.

LIONESS

Your ability to love yourself and be empowered is maturing.  You are learning that the real beauty and value of you comes from within.  You are learning to rise above emotional game-playing with honesty.  You can enjoy your attractiveness as a person without allowing it to control your life or your sense of self-worth.  If others try to control your life or opinions about your appearance, or in any other way, you will be strong enough to recognise it as their issue and nothing to do with you.  Others will be attracted to your true inner beauty, appreciating your loveliness and enjoying how it helps them feel good about who they are, too.

Your feminine power is grounded in dignity.  She stands against beauty being used as a tool of manipulation – to get something, to control someone, to put someone else down and make them feel unworthy.  She knows that such behaviour is dishonourable, taking what was once beautiful and distorting it into something ugly and corrupt.

Lioness is the medicine of honour, of beauty that is enjoyed but not exploited.  She is the soul medicine of courage.  She refuses to be used as a pawn in another’s game; she refuses to play with the minds and emotions of others.  Her ways are direct and open.  She is confident in who she is, and she is not afraid to be honest.  Even if quietly spoken, your truth has the impact of a roar.

With her confidence in your heart, you can live your life in the open without any need to hide.  You are the holder of lioness medicine – a brave one, a huntress, and a protector of dignity, justice and truth.

BE THERE FOR YOU

It’s time to let yourself off the hook.  Don’t interpret the behaviour of other people or circumstances outside of your control to indicate something negative about you.  Forgive yourself for anything that you feel you have done wrong.  You can learn from your choices more easily if you stop punishing yourself whenever you feel that you’ve made a mistake.  Even the decisions that we regret can help us grow wiser when we swap judgement for compassion.  Sometimes, we can only learn what we need to know from what doesn’t work out so well at the time.  Forgive yourself.  Have your own back.  Be good to you.

You have an open, sensitive, beautiful heart.  Sometimes the world cannot meet that heart of yours on equal terms.  Sometimes the heart of others are just too closed and afraid.  That’s OK because it’s part of why you were born – to help heal and open the hearts of the world.  You are wise, and you know your purpose is to shine the beauty of your divine heart freely for all to experience.  You never have to close down or turn away from that sacred purpose in the world, but you do deserve to be safeguarded and protected.  Know that you have your own back.

When fearful, angry people lash out in pain, trying to hurt others because they cannot get past their own hurt, do not make it about you.  Your heart knows how to love you and protect you, whilst it has compassion for the suffering that another may be feeling. Remember that you must be there for yourself, nurturing your own heart with plenty of love.  Give to yourself just as you give to the world: with kindness and generosity.

Don’t allow anyone or anything make you forget what is real and true – the wisdom and love that fills your own divine heart and helps heal the world.

Woosah!  Wonderful guides for this week as we navigate the New Moon, Year of the Ox and Valentine’s Day.  Wishing you a glorious week filled with ease, authenticity, kindness and laughter.  Allow any “sticky” emotion out, give yourself love and appreciation and remember to be grateful for even the smallest thing.  I personally am exceptionally grateful for you and your presence on this earth.  Big hugs and squeezes!

What does Integrity mean to you? Shadows and Light. New Moon in Aquarius!

Jenny Heston · 11:23 pm ·

Happy Marvelous, Magnetic, Musical, Merry, Mischievous, Miraculous, Manifesting Monday!  Whoot! How are you delicious lovely? Have you picked your WOTY? How are you getting along with the theme this month of “If Not Now, When?  If Not You, Who?”

Here in balmy Victoria we were hit with big snow – it was fantabulous!  (Although many people who live here would totally disagree). But I loved it, there was a good couple of feet of it and the city ground to a stand still – ahhhhh, there is a certain quiet and beauty that snow brings.  So I gifted myself the full day on Wednesday to do the Journey of Inanna.  Sacred circle was set, I had a gatekeeper and off we went.  This is not a journey for the faint of heart as there are 7 gates you have to pass through and at each one you are asked to release a part of yourself.  For example:- how you show up in the world, how you communicate, your tribe, your material possessions and financial security and others. Until at the very end you give up your humanness.  And at every gate you explore – who the heck am I without that piece, what does this look like, feel like. Raw is the word I would use. Then as you ascend back you choose what you want to pick up and what you are willing to release.  Very powerful.

So this got my mind to perking (as you know it does).  We have a New Moon in Aquarius on January 24th (Friday), which means the sky is dark and we set our seeds of intention, our desires, our light.  Thus, a glorious mix of Shadow and Light. Yet I see so many people stuffing what they perceive as their “Shadow” pieces. The pieces that they don’t like, or that are judged by others as “not suitable for present company!”  This in turn creates a fragmentation and a sense of not being whole, it also encourages people pleasing and mask wearing to fit it.  So I say Bollocks to that!

Now as many of you know I facilitate a group called Soul Matters where we walk with a theme each month and explore it in a deep spiritual and personal way whilst looking at how it shows up in our day to day.  The theme we are exploring for January is “Integrity”.  So let me ask – what does Integrity mean to you?

The standard dictionary definition is “Integrity: the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.” Hmmmm, most certainly but there needs to be more.  I like the definition from Authur Gordon:- “Integrity: Basically, the word means wholeness.  In mathematics, an integer is a number that isn’t divided into fractions.  Just so, a person of integrity isn’t divided against him or herself.”

Most people look at Integrity as it’s about addition – build your character, get better at being honest, and all those pieces.  It’s about being better, becoming more. But what if it isn’t about adding something on, but actually remembering and embracing all you are – a wholeness?  Remembering the important life lessons that have come our way, such as: – I remember that masks that stay on too long will stick to my skin.  I remember I always have a choice. I remember that if I am asked to keep a piece of me hidden, this is not where I belong.  It’s about diving into your core values and living them.

As Rachel Naomi Remen shares – “Integrity rarely means that we need to add something to ourselves: it is more an undoing than a doing, a freeing ourselves from beliefs we have about who we are and ways we have been persuaded to “fix” ourselves.”

Integrity to me is not slicing myself up into different parcels for different places.  It’s to know and to feel that I am showing up as my whole self in different settings. It’s bringing all the pieces of me to the table.  Yes? It’s about allowing what we call our “shadow” pieces to be integrated into our being so they don’t need to squirt sideways and by integrating them we release the vast amount of energy that it takes to stuff them into a box in the back of the closet, and bring it back to ourselves to fuel our light.  Which feels amazing!

So let me ask again – What does Integrity look and feel like for you?  Are you willing to allow what you perceive as your shadow pieces some space?  Are you willing to bring them into your being with love? If you do, the energy surge is positively delicious and then you start showing up in a state of wholeness and as the gorgeous authentic being you are!

So with all that in mind when I went to the cards and was just about to ask who wanted to guide this week I was gobsmacked as this glorious deck threw themselves off the shelf and spilled out all over the floor.  So please let me introduce you to your gorgeous guides for this week, The Oracle of Shadows and Light.  If you have never met them before, or worked with them:-  Wisdom for Misfits, Mystics, Seekers, and Wanderers.  Bittersweet..Unheard..Unconventional…Rebellious…Cheeky…Whimsical…Invisible.  They’re not the words you often hear associated with the spiritual world, are they?  Nevertheless, some of the most spiritual beings who have ever lived are those who have been most at odds with what we call the mainstream.  They do not fit in. They have had moments of despair. And they know being truthful, and being real, is one of the greatest strengths and spiritual paths of all!  They ask you to step out from the shadows, to no longer hide your light away, and to consult with an oracle that acknowledges your individuality and strange genius!  How’s that for a warm welcome?

Thus with the thought of wholeness, reclaiming the energy that you use to hide pieces of  yourself or your pain close your eyes down and just breathe. For those of you who want to go deeper there is a lovely guided visualisation for you and you won’t need a passport.  Just breathe, trust and allow this all to swirl. Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that tug.

Okay, are you ready to pick?

Now.  Are you ready to look and breathe it in?

STORM ANGEL

This beautiful fairy is dressed in storms: energy around her crackles and sizzles, but she is calm and unharmed.  Now it your time and turn to learn to deal with the energy that is around you, without compromising your own! She appears when energies with major differences collide: when intentions are vastly different, when techniques are worlds apart, and when incompatible belief systems meet up!

There is nothing wrong, at all, with difference: diversity is wonderful.  Shadows and light are beautiful and necessary and can coexist in harmony. But certain kinds of differences do not blend…like oil and water, they separate and cannot coexist in harmony.  Therefore, she brings change, and when comes, for some it is simple, easy and flowing; for others, dramatic, erratic, wild, and full of static.

She appears when two forms of energy collide; high and low.  She appears to burn way the old and create a clear, fresh vibration, where all that is stale, and fearful, and unpleasant has been cleared away.  The wonderful thing about this challenging collision is that while you’ll be nudged out of your comfort zone, you’ll also realise just how much has changed, and how far you have come.  The results will be worth the pressure – trust me!

As the Storm Angel speaks:  “When I appear, know that it is natural for people to feel tension, to become even more entrenched in their beliefs, and to refuse to let go.  The only approach you can take right now is to clearly and powerfully remain in integrity. Do not compromise who you are out of misguided notion of being “compassionate”.

You must speak the truth that is in your heart and stay committed to that truth.

CARNIVOROUS FLOWER FAIRY

Pay attention!  Look carefully at someone or a situation around you.  Her beauty tempts people in, but the purpose of the flowers is to devour, making it difficult to escape unharmed!  You may have been told such situations are “wonderful agents of change and growth”. But the truth is that you do not need to learn this lesson again.  The plants in the beautiful yet faintly macabre, image represent someone or something that is attractive, yet dangerous.

There is a being who may feed off your energy, or even eat you alive.  Watch for people who consume more than they give, people who bully and swallow others, who argue you out of your beliefs, ignore you, or constantly seek your approval and praise and then grow hostile when you no longer give it.  If you are appeasing another instead of having an equal relationship, or if you are fearful of being consumed by an environment that is toxic, yet seductive, it may be that the Carnivorous Flower Fairy has come forth to show you clearly what you need to avoid.

Whatever and whomever the carnivorous Flower Fairy represents, it is a dangerous alliance to contemplate.  Do not get too close. Observe and learn, if you must. Do not become an experiment. They will bite you, and they will try to take from you.  It is their very nature.

PINK LOTUS FAIRY

You may love your guilt-free rants, staying up too late, and happily behaving badly, but you’re about to balance all that out with some very powerful new spiritual teachings and connections.

You are to meet a wise one who seems very still, very slow, and very peaceful.  She will be tranquil and serene and immersed in a path that until now has felt too slow, or “foreign,” for you.  But this teacher, who is represented by the Pink Lotus Fairy, will assist you in finding more of your soul’s true wisdom.  Within this time of inner discovery, you will commit to disciplined new training in the mental realms: study and physical movement that is unfamiliar to you, all of which helps you to naturally choose thoughts that are empowering and enlivening, yet completely authentic and real.

You will learn to be still and to listen to the beat of your heart without giving in to restlessness, or the critical voice inside, or the cliches the ego loves to trip you up with.  After you have learned more discipline through peaceful practice of meditation or exercise or mantras, you will nurture yourself more willingly, without guilt, and you will have returned to a place of tranquility, self-love and peace.

You will bring into balance your own shadows and light.  Don’t worry – you will be happier and more peaceful, but you won’t be boring!  You could never be!

There is a deep and true part of yourself that has long yearned for acknowledgement, fulfillment, and the nirvana that is on its way.

Wowzer.  Those are amazing messages as we dance with Shadow and Light and practice Integrity that means Wholeness.  Well Delicious Lovely I wish for you a week of inviting your “shadow” pieces back and integrating them into a state of magnificent wholeness.  I wish for you the playfulness to share your whole being, with no attachment to what others think. And I most certainly wish for you a glorious New Moon, if you want to try out the Moon Bowl please do.  Huge hugs, squeezes and love.

The game that she always wanted to play with everyone was Boggle, as she loved words.

She would often cheat and try to plausibly pass off a word.

Thus, one of the ways I’ve honoured her today on the first deathaversary was to make hourglasses filled with some of her ashes and glitter.

One for each of the grandchildren so she can always participate in games.

Remember that the only guarantee you have is today.

So please love like a mother trucker, apologise, do the things you want to and celebrate every breath.
