Beltane is almost here! Super Full Moon in Scorpio!

Happy Magickal, Moonlit, Mystical, Magnificent, Majestic, Manifesting Monday! How are you delicious lovely?

With Beltane on Saturday, May 1st, let’s take a little dip into what the heck Beltane is and whether you should pay attention to it or not. Beltane was thought to be one of the more important festivals of the Gaelic calendar. Beltane is a Fire Festival. The word ‘Beltane’ originates from the Celtic God ‘Bel’, meaning ‘the bright one’ and the Gaelic word ‘teine’ meaning fire. Together they make ‘Bright Fire’, or ‘Goodly Fire’ and traditionally bonfires were lit to honour the Sun and encourage the support of Bel and the Sun’s light to nurture the emerging future harvest and protect the community.

Beltane celebrates the height of Spring and the flowering of life. Earth energies are at their strongest and most active. All of life is bursting with potent fertility, look at the trees around you – (if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere), they are bursting forth with bright green leaves and the little sparrows are back as well as the robins. Abundant fertility, on all levels, is the central theme.

So all in all a great time to celebrate, set intention, fertilise either self or ideas and have a grand jolly time!

But I guess the question some people have is – “Why bother marking the day?” Good question, and my answer would be because it connects you to something bigger, older and deeper than our modern day to day.

For those who are part of our glorious email community, on Thursday, there will be some simple rituals to play with to connect you in a deeper way to this fertile energy. And for the glorious Creatrix Circle members there will be rituals and magick pertaining to Beltane. (Let alone our Beltane celebration!)

Okay, Today is a glorious fat, delicious Super Full Moon in Scorpio which will shine a light on any area of our lives that is wanting us to be impulsive – itching to dash forward. As Lena shares: Put some practical thought into any important choices around changing or adjusting anything major in your life. Take this opportunity to tap into your own wisdom as well as to find a new courage for those changes you do want to make.

You may experience an inner tension that brings up any imbalance you feel around time – how you spend it, how you use your energy etc. Use this full moon time to take an inventory of what you value so you can set intentions and get support around what is most important to you. We are all ready to move on, to go forward and experience more freedom. And yet we are being pulled back to take yet another look at what needs to change, to be healed and to be released. So, be patient, ask what can be healed, and do the work so you can move into the future from a solid and practical foundation and not one built on impulsive behavior.

So for example on this glorious Full Moon I invite you to take a situation in your life; could be a relationship, work, financial, travel – whatever you chose and then write on the top of a piece of paper “My Ideal…….(fill in the blank). “ Then on one side of the paper write 10 things you don’t want, about in your ideal…….. Then when you have done that list, review it and ask yourself “So What Do I Want?” On the other side of the paper take each “don’t want point” and ask what DO I want (in other words a reframe). For example if you were writing about your ideal new job and said:- I don’t want rigid hours, I don’t want negligent management etc. The reframe would be – my hours are flexible, my management is understanding and reliable. Get it? As you make your way through each point, please remember to cross out the “Don’t want list”, and then light a candle and burn that sucker up. Offer it up, release it and realise that you now have a clarity list and these are the words that you use to describe it, which creates different thoughts, which creates a different Vibe, which creates different RESULTS.

Okay, I have chuntered on so let’s crack on with the reading. When I went to the cards and asked who wanted to guide I giggled when I saw the glorious guides of Oracles of Shadow and Light were front and centre. Now if these guides are new to you, please let me introduce them (as it would be rude not to) Wisdom for Misfits, Mystics, Seekers, and Wanderers. Bittersweet…Unheard…Unconventional…Rebellious…Cheeky…Whimsical…Invisible.

They’re not the words you often hear associated with the spiritual world, are they? Nevertheless, some of the most spiritual beings who have ever lived are those who have been most at odds with what we call the mainstream. They do not fit in. They have had moments of despair. And they know being truthful, and being real, is one of the greatest strengths and spiritual paths of all! They ask you to step out from the shadows, to no longer hide your light away, and to consult with an oracle that acknowledges your individuality and strange genius!

How’s that for a warm welcome?

The crystals that wiggled and wobbled are:- Black Moonstone – a powerful connection to the Divine Feminine, Black Madonna, helpful to the oversensitive. Moonstone – mystery, self discovery. Mystic Merlinite – can awaken those parts of the mind that are dormant and activate the full potential of the mind.

So dear one, take a moment to get really rooted and present. Allow your breath to find its natural rhythm and just BE. As you breathe slowly allow the image of the Beltane fires to burble up in your minds eye and as you watch the flames dance and rise to the sky ask “What do you need to know this week.”

ANGEL OF TIME

The Angel of Time looks very fierce and stern, and that’s because you need to hear her message. You see, if she appeared to you in a soft guise, it would be too easy for you to overlook her message and just continue on as if she had never visited. The truth is that you are forcing yourself beyond your energetic limits at this time – working too hard, self-loving and connecting with the Universe way too little.

So, she has appeared to remind you of what it is you are turning your world into: one big machine, where you are one cog in it. You are an important, soulful, beloved being, but the world of work is not going to end if you step away from its mechanism for a while. “It is time,” she says, “for a time out!” Will you listen?

“I’m getting straight to the point here, because someone really has to tell you. Stop giving so much to your work. All your time. Your energy. Your passion. Take better care of your health. This is the time to fulfill all those promises you’ve made to yourself but barely made even the effort to keep. Meditate, eat well, take up gentle exercise, and change unhealthy emotional patterns that are compromising your well being – these are the challenges you need to set yourself. I thank you in advance, for a happy you makes this world a far better place.!”

CANDY CANE ANGEL

The Candy Cane Angel is in charge of letting you know when it is time for some little luxuries that will reconnect you with your self-love and self-worth. She, too, holds back from giving to herself, as she is such an earnest and industrious little angel – but her message is always clear; it is time for some fun!

As she says clearly to you “You know what my problem is? And you know what your problem is? No? Well, let me tell you. Our problem is that we both feel guilty about giving ourselves pleasure. See this little treat in my hands? It’s not bad, is it? It’s not evil, is it? But can I bring myself to just sit down and taste every moment of its sugary sweet delights? No. I have to wonder if it’s the right time. If I have done enough to earn this treat. To wonder why I should get this when so many do not have a single candy cane for their own selves! I torment myself with these things – and so do you! How about we make a deal? Next time you ponder a gift to yourself: a massage, a treat, a spiritual workshop, a delicious meal, time to laugh with a friend, a long rest or nap, meditation time, a space clear…..know that when you energetically tell yourself “I am way too busy for that indulgence,” you are really saying, ‘I do not deserve that!’ Well, let’s decide that you do! I am about to have my treat. I now charge you with the same quest. Give yourself that which you have been denying yourself. You do deserve it!”

Do not rationalise or talk yourself out of it any longer. Step out of the consciousness of lack and into the consciousness of “I deserve,” and grant yourself this lovely moment of luxury. It’s time for some joie de vivre and enjoyment to restage a grand entrance into your life!

NAUTILUS PRINCESS

A big-eyed beautiful mermaid, surrounded by her floating, rich red hair, holds tight to a nautilus shell……She is an underwater (emotional) princess, and she is growing in ways she never thought she would – because soon she is to be the queen, and she must make decisions. She feels uncertain about how she will perform when she is elevated and unsure of whether she can wield her power. She is very thoughtful as she contemplates the future – but all around her are the symbols of her future success.

As she shares with you – “I know I am strong, but most people think of me as gentle, kind, and good. Now that I am to be ruler, what if they see me as power-hungry, dominating, greedy or controlling? Whatever the thoughts of those around me, there will be change as I change, and I will continue to hold fast to my nautilus, as it ever reminds me to grow in ways that are in tune with my purpose, my integrity, and what I feel is right. I vow to be steadfast and true, despite the challenges that are heading my way. I vow not to misuse my power. Worm Moon, Orcas and Seals, and Hippitty Hoppitty Bunnies!!!

How are you deliciously lovely? So much to explore with the shift in energy for April and the lovely Full Moon that happened yesterday and Easter! However, first let me share about the huge pod of Orcas I saw this morning!

As I do every morning I go to the beach with the doggo. So I got there bright and early and was walking along the beach reciting mantra and picking up rocks when all of a sudden I looked up and coming around the point was a massive super pod of Orcas! (Apparently there was a plankton blush with the warmer weather) and they were majestic! Undulating in and out of the water, blowing water up in the air – it was awe inspiring! I mean seriously, how can you watch these majestic beasts and not be blown away? Then all of a sudden as the last Orca rounded the point 4 HUGE sea lions slid off the rocky point and started attacking the last Orca! I was gob smacked! There was all sorts of noise, splashing bodies flipping up and around and tails smacking the water. I have never seen the like! Then weirdly enough within about 4 minutes it was all done and when I looked around the Orcas and sea lions had vanished, and the ocean was still.

Wild right? And absolute blarney – happy early April Fools Day!!!

Okay, I have to ask, am I the only demented one that loves April Fools day and likes to play practical jokes and little twists of the mind with people? In my world, if it is harmless as long as no one gets hurt (possibly confused), then it’s all good. When the kids were younger I altered all the clocks in the house by 2 hours and so the kids dashed to the bus stop and waited, and waited (as they were there 2 hours before a bus would be there.) I will be honest, I let them wait for a good 30 minutes and when I pulled up in the vehicle they were highly concerned they had missed the bus, something had happened, where was the bus? (I know, what a horrid mother I am). So I explained to them what had happened, thanked them for the saran wrapped toilet and the salt in the sugar and we all went for a yummy breakie!

Thus gorgeous one, Happy April Fool’s Day! (Playing and laughing are so important, if you’re not doing it, then you need to start (just saying)). Or come for a visit and we will make it gigglicious and glorious fun and hopefully see Orcas!

Yesterday was the glorious Worm Moon (isn’t that a great name?)

Do you know why it’s called Worm Moon? The worm moon gets its unique name because earthworms begin to resurface at this time of year. It is also considered the last full moon of winter, but in 2021, it marks the beginning of spring. Also known as Seed Moon and the Crow Moon, The Worm Moon is the time of growth, creativity, and inspiration. Falling after Ostara, the Worm Moon can also be a time for rebirth, or a time to picture that creative project you’ve been thinking about for months, or the new way you want to be in this world. On the Worm Moon, visualize your intentions and the outcome you’re searching for when it comes to that project and make plans for how to see it through.

So if you want to take some time to do a bit of releasing, and then visualising with inspiration and creativity, I highly suggest it (you still have time.)

This weekend is Easter and I love the fact that hot cross buns are out in all the stores. I will confess, I have a “thing” for them, no clue why, but I really do. I cut them in half, toast them and slather them with butter and then everything seems right with the world at that moment in time! And I will be honest, I can eat a ton of them!

So with no egg hunt in sight, jokes it is!

How do you make rabbit stew? Make it wait for 4 hours.

What kind of music does the Easter Bunny like? Hip Hop.

Why do we paint Easter eggs? Because it’s easier than trying to wallpaper them.

What do you get when you pour hot water down a rabbit hole? Hot cross bunnies!

Why did the Easter bunny cross the road? Because the chicken had its Easter eggs!

Hey, nowhere in this did I say they were good jokes lolol! So how are you going to celebrate this Easter? Time outside, visit with zoom time with family, a special dinner, a hike, relaxing and watching it all happen?

Okay, enough chuntering away about chocolate, eggs and hot cross buns, let’s get on with the reading.

When I went to the cards and asked who wanted to share with you this week, I was delighted to see that the Earth Warriors Oracle guides were most adamant. Now if these amazing guides are new to you, please let me introduce you to them (as it’s rude not to).

There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above water. And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate. At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt. The time for the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word “struggle” from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

Woosah, breath that in. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

Okay gorgeous bean, let’s take a moment to just settle and BE. Let your breath find it’s perfect path coming from the belly, not the chest and let your shoulders relax. As you settle in, invite into your mind’s eye the energy of creation, rebirth, play and imagination. Ask yourself what would best support you with those energies this week.

Though you yearn for peace, you recognise that, without truth, genuine peace can never be. Even if it triggers an upheaval of transformation, the need to set things right is strong in you. This is the inner drive of the spiritual warrior; the compelling soul needs to uphold truth, goodness and justice. You will fight for these things because that is your way, Spirit Warrior. Trust, see and feel the positive impact that you are making in the world. You are relentless and the Divine is with you.

If a Spirit Warrior tries to fight from a place of despair and darkness, doubt and hate, the battle will become destructive to their soul. When you fight for love from a place of joy, Spirit Warrior, the battle opens your beautiful fierce heart. It uplifts your mind and empowers your soul with the might of divine grace that accomplishes all pursuits and wins every war.

Out of Darkness, the Light is Born

The light is powerful enough to survive exposure to the darker side of humanity and remain pure, empowered and effective. Trust in your spiritual purpose as light in this world. Trust particularly in your ability to bring purity, order; grace and light to disorder, chaos and destruction. The Divine is ever by your side and ever within your heart, assisting you with this higher purpose in all ways.

All issues can be healed through the unlimited recourse and creative resourcefulness of the Divine. You are destined to be part of the creative solution for any issue that you have in your life or that exists in the world and touches your heart. The issue only exists so that divine genius can resolve it! Struggles are sometimes the best way for us to learn something we need to understand for our life journey. Trust that when you ask for help, even apparently impossible situations can be turned around. With willing human engagement and divine grace, there is more than enough light, healing, creative innovation, wisdom and energy available to keep Mother Earth and all her creatures, including humanity, thriving. Never give up your hope and trust in what is possible – nor your willingness to act upon that hope and trust.

Part of your spiritual path requires that you walk your talk and live in a way that shows optimism and practicality. When something’s not working, we don’t need to hide from it in shame. We face it because we have spiritual self-esteem and self-confidence. Trust in divine timing, realising that there is far-reaching good about yourself and your presence in the world. It’s not about being perfect, it’s just about taking that next step for you.

Stand in the Light

You are unique. You are a divine and beautiful being. You stand apart from the crowd. Sometimes this evokes jealousy or desire in others who want to possess your light and beauty as their own. You need never fear another or believe that they can harm you. Allow yourself to be true to who you are. Do not try to hide your inner light and beauty. You are meant to be seen. Your soul is nurtured and protected by your love for the Great Spirit.

Don’t avoid the spotlight or try to hide yourself nor dull your light to appease another or your own fears. Your true inner divine light and beauty is meant to help others, and the only way that can occur is if you allow yourself to fully be and express it. Do not shrink away from your magnificence when you feel challenged. Instead step it up to an entirely new level of boldness! You have a gentle nature, but you are strong. If you have become obsessed with the beauty or power of another, it’s time to come back to your own divine beauty, to unearth it, explore it, express it and let it shine. Trying to blend in wild rain the energy from you. LEt those who are attracted to your light adapt to your level of divine expression. You are the benchmark, and they will evolve to reach you.

What nurtures and nourishes you, what feels good for your heart, body and soul, is also what protects you. You actually don’t need to do anything else for effective protection than place yourself in the divine beauty of what you love absolutely and completely.

Blessings, Sore Ass and Full Moon (no pun intended lol)

Happy Magnificent, Magickal, Mesmerising, Musical, Marvelous, Manifesting Monday!

How are you? Did you take some time to play with the wonderful energy of the Equinox? I most certainly did and I will say I had a positively stupendous, one of a kind Equinox weekend and the shift that I feel in my body, mind and spirit are immense that I would love to share with you.

Now don’t get me wrong, my life for the most part is really quite lovely and I feel very Blessed. However, I will say the first part of March felt very fractious, heavy and agitated. My ego was certainly trying to drive the bus and was having a tough time with acceptance, release and my mind was certainly not being my friend! So it was divine to have the Equinox experience and feel it move, shift and release.

So, Friday night I took some time to sit out in the dark and write (by candlelight) all the things that I had been fretting with, trying to control, allowing my ego to run rampant with – just poured them out on paper. I then gave them a wee blessing and popped them in my Goddess Box and offered them up. Then I loaded up my backpack as I knew I needed an adventure, an explore, something to sweep out the cobwebs and help me find the reset button.

Saturday I loaded up Gertie (the car) and grabbed Danu (the dog) picked up a friend and off we went to go explore something new as I was being told there was a shift in the air. We ended up on the Juan de Fuca coastal trail, a glorious old growth trail that runs alongside the rugged west coast of the island. And literally the minute I put my foot on the old growth trail I felt a frisson of energy rush through me and had this knowing sensation that I wouldn’t be the same when I came back out. (That’s not as odd as it sounds). Wending through the trees and scrambling over twisted tree roots whilst navigating huge mud puddles the wind picked up and made the tops of the trees sing and I could feel my energy rise in response. Then the sound of the crashing waves pounding against the rugged rocks melded in and it was as if Nature was singing me the best love song ever!

We came out onto one beach and my breath was literally taken away, the rawness, the ruggedness, the sandstone tidal pools with the crashing waves and the wind! Oh my Goddess I was in heaven. I felt like a wee one scrambling up and down over the rocks, gazing into the deep pools and seeing all the life that was living there. The eagles kept coming out and flying above me calling out to each other as they surfed the wind current. At one point as I went to jump off a large rocky outcrop I realised at the last minute that the landing was slick so I lunged further to avoid falling 8 feet and managed to pull the muscles in my left arse cheek! Sore was the word! But hey, you only live once, and this was an experience I was immersed in.

We went back onto the trail to go further down the coast line and kept popping out on wild, rugged beaches to explore and each time a gorgeous eagle would appear as the wind whipped the ocean up and tugged at my hat. I found a little nook in the rocks on one beach where we were sheltered from the wind and able to peel off some layers and have our picnic, where we were very kindly joined by two large Stellar Jays with their iridescent blue plumage and a mini murder of crows. (Quite delightful but raucous picnic companions!) After lunch it was time for Oomancy! Now if you are shaking your head and saying – ummm, WTF? Let me clarify it – divination with eggs! Yes, I did say that outloud. In Creatrix Circle on Friday we had our Ostara gathering and we prepared our eggs for a wonderful divination ritual, so I had hauled mine all the way out to this rugged coastline.

I found a lovely sandstone slope and divining occurred, it was so cool to do and the absolutely perfect place. After a full day, with an incredibly sore left butt cheek, muddy boots, wind burned cheeks and a full heart it was time to do the long drive home. But oh my Goddess, it had been soooooo worth it. What a glorious way to celebrate Ostara and honour the Goddess in her Maiden form and the energy of rebirth, new growth and expansion.

By the time I got home I realised, the woods had been right. I didn’t feel like the same person at all as the one who first stepped onto the trail early in the morning. I felt lighter, clearer, in a state of grace and acceptance and truly, truly Blessed. So to celebrate this sensation and the glorious Equinox I made a Black Forest Cake and ate half of it! (I left offerings for the faeries as well). The whole day had felt incredibly magickal, cleansing and transformative and I felt very Blessed by the whole experience, even with a super sore arse and needing to sit on a hot water bottle!

Sunday morning found me out early with Danu, in the pouring rain wandering along the beach and through the homeless campers who are in the park. As I pushed through a copse of trees I encountered a chap who was having a super tough time and decided I should listen to him as he screamed and swore about life, the weather, me, the neighbourhood and how everything was fucked up. I listened and when he had calmed enough to hear me he took my offer of support to help him get to the community tent so he could get some hot coffee and a dry coat. As I walked on with Danu I offered up a blessing for him, for anyone in that dire circumstance, for those who’s only home currently is a leaky tent in a public park where they get castigated and shunned. For those who are made to feel less than. For those who are struggling with mental health issues and for myself that I was able to be there and listen to him, as I felt that was an honour.

Now when I use the word Blessing, I’m not talking about the Bible interpretation. It’s more a case of calling in grace, love, something bigger than myself to offer support, and let’s be honest – you can offer up a Blessing for anything. It could be a person who you feel has done you wrong, you can bless those that you see struggling, you can bless a situation, you can bless a meal. It’s the inviting in of something far, far bigger than yourself to enter the space with loving kindness. I find it super powerful, give it a try. What do you have to lose?

As John O’Donohue says: ” May you experience each day as a sacred gift woven around the heart of wonder.”

Okay, this Sunday is the lovely Full Moon in Libra which carries beautiful, high-powered energies for healing, protection, and harmony. A new chapter, a new zodiac wheel has started, and this Full Moon is supporting us to let go of all that we no longer need to carry and to create space for new energies to unfold.

Think about it, when we first started this zodiac cycle back in March of 2020, the world was a different place. We have all changed. We have all evolved and grown. We have all had new experiences that have shaped and moved us, and this Full Moon is our chance to acknowledge and release all that no longer needs to be with us. The Libra energy of this Full Moon also supports us in finding a balance between the old state of what once was and the new state of what could be, and the grace and discernment that is needed to either hold on or let go.

So take some time to consider how you have changed and grown, do you appreciate the Blessings in your life enough and what areas of your life would you like to see more growth (like the Spring seedlings) in?

When I went to the guides to ask who wanted to share this week I laughed as the wonderful Blessing Faeries were most adamant to share their Blessings with you. These glorious ones had come on my Equinox adventure and had gifted me with a Blessing amidst the eagles, crows and jays.

Faeries are present in every droplet of water, every blade of grass – they are everywhere there is a trace of nature – thus every field, flower, and forest is theirs. They inhabit the wild rainforests and the old castles; they dance within standing stones and burial mounds; they are on the top of mountains and within the grove deep in the valley; and they appear in the cracks in the pavement and beneath the cities in the old, tangled tree roots. Faeries are part of this world, and they were here before we were born into this world, and they know us better than we know ourselves. For humans, many of us have lost our sense of play, our sense of relationship with nature, our courage to be ourselves – as well as our hope, creativity, and personal power. We have looked outside of ourselves and nature and the sacred ones for answers, and in doing so, we have become quite lost. The gift of the Unseelie is the gift of the rebellious one, the one who defies, and who does not “go with the flow”. In faery lore, the Unseelie are sometimes considered dangerous but their blessing is this: you are not born to appease and to concede, to give way always before forces that consume and control. You were born to be free, to decide who you were meant to be for yourself – and the Unseelie’s gift and blessing to you is that reminder. And this means that in this moment, there is something you must say “no” to. Say “no” to the forces that would ask you to do something that you feel is wrong. Say “no ” to going along, to getting along, and stand alone, if you must, in the renegade nature of the Unseelie.

It is a strange gift, a weird blessing, to be sure, but in its way, it is an energy of rebellion and courage and defiance that is not born out of any desire to be unkind. In fact, it is born out of the desire to be kind to your truest self and to create space and room for you to breathe and be free. With this blessing, you will say, “no”, you will take a stand, you will find a new path and be true to yourself. And while you may be called disruptive or difficult, know that these labels are only given when you can no longer be controlled. A BLESSING ON THE HEART’S CALLING

The Faery Gift of Living from the Truest and Most Pure Call of the Heart

For faeries, what the heart wants, in its purest form, is the right thing to desire. But for humans, we have long practice smothering the heart with the voice of reason, most often not our own voice, but the voices of others, of cultures and governments and of groups of people who fear nothing so much as hearing the heart’s deep call. And so, with this gift of the faery comes the gift of hearing again the heart’s deep call and having the courage and commitment to follow it, no matter where it may take us.

The heart’s deep call will never drive us to a destructive relationship or a hurtful scenario. It is not going to sacrifice our spirit to the making of money or the stifling of creativity. The heart’s deep call, the true call, is beyond this, and will only take us in the direction of the dreams we are meant to fulfil this lifetime.

The faeries can now, with this gift, slowly lift the mist that covers the shining heart within you and open you up to that deep listening to your own self, and help you to value the song of the heart that has been signing to you since before you were born. For the faeries have heard the song of your heart, and have wondered at the difference between its call and the life you have lived thus far.

Gemini Full Moon Eclipse, Mourning Moon, Hope, Stones and Bones.

Happy, Happy, Happy Marvelous, Manifesting, Magnificent, Magickal, Miraculous, Mellow, Magnanimous Monday!

Okay, we have tons to explore this week: Gemini Full Moon Eclipse, Hope, Stones and Bones, Creatrix Circle doors will soon be opening and all sorts of other things! Phew! So grab a cuppa, get cosy and let’s away!

So let me ask, how has your sleep been? I have heard from many of you that you’re either having supremely vivid and rather odd dreams, or not sleeping well. No surprise! Eclipse energy magnifies the energy of the Full Moon and with this moon also called the Mourning Moon there are a lot of emotions and old beliefs burbling to the surface to be released and yes, some of it is grief. Grief pertaining to the changes that are happening in your world and globally, grief of the shorter days, grief about many things.

This moon is also about losing the warmth and sun to the coming dark months. It is a time to finish loose ends and relax. It is a time to count our blessings and be thankful. A time of washing away the baggage of the past and letting it go. Then focus on the joys of the future. During the Mourning Moon phase, you’re being invited to say goodbye to bad habits and toxic relationships, and get a fresh start for the new year.

So then add to it that Eclipse time amplifies the energy of the Moon, and brings to light those subconscious niggles. Even as the longest nights approach, this full moon encourages us to bring our thoughts, feelings, and past out of the darkness — before we bid them farewell.

In Creatrix Circle we had our first ever Full Moon Gathering yesterday and wowzer, it is amazing. Ritual, sharing, exploring and really being willing to dig deep. I was in awe of the amazing women there.

So how are you going to create a ritual for yourself to release whatever needs to leave? How are you going to honour that leaving?

Because the delicious piece here is that as you step into the darkness to release (with yesterday being the first candle of Advent), there is a place for Hope.

Now I will be honest, the word “Hope” has never been one of my favourite words as I find it is used far too much i.e. – I hope the kids do their chores, I hope I win the lottery, I hope the cat doesn’t cough a hairball on the clean laundry………. So the word Hope always felt a bit banal to me, thus, I went exploring and reading and have to say I really like this definition, it is one I can get behind:-

“Hope is a feeling of trust, a security, and a reason to keep going. It is a passionate desire of our heart. It is a feeling of expectation and a longing for a certain thing to happen.” – Verity Russell

So let me ask – What do you Hope for?

But it also reminded me that most of my kids went to Waldorf for their wee years and in Waldorf education, each week of Advent is assigned a “theme” of sorts and is a time for reflection and gratitude towards the different realms of our earth: stones & minerals; plants; animal kingdom; and humankind.

So over the weekend, I gathered ivy and cedar and made a wreath that sits on my dining room table with the candles of advent, and as I lit the first one I breathed in Hope, and also honoured the stones and the bones by decorating around that candle with seashells, crystals and beach stones. As the first verse says – The first light of Advent is the light of stone–. Light that lives in crystals, seashells, and bones.

Doing this reminds me we are all connected and we have lots to be grateful for (even on those dark days).

Remember Dark and Light go hand in hand.

Aqua Aura – for those who want to increase their psychic skills and awareness. Serpentine – an earthing stone and one that opens up new pathways for Kundalini energy. And last but not least Selenite to cleanse and amplify.

Thus with the thought of releasing and filling that space with Hope, acknowledging your connection to the stones and the bones I invite you to close your eyes down and just breathe. I bring you a message from a loved one: one whose spirit seems to have already departed, but whose physical presence lingers on for now . I as you now to acknowledge your loved ones who are resting, in spirit, or creating new selves for their souls. You may soon be about to meet a beloved in a new form: I ask you to stay open minded about the form in which the souls can come, and I ask you to be open to the message from the loved ancestors. For they have something to tell you, and it will come to you soon, in a vision, or a dream, or a message during a daydream that will bring such sweet tangible proof of what some people still call life after death.

There is no death. There’s only life and resting and change. Be ready to be comforted and to learn more of the world beyond this world, which is always with you, but is not always believed in, or trusted, even when we send messages to you, as clear as a flag in the sky.

You are not to delay activating this lifetime’s purpose. The message is not just from those who have passed, but of the truth that you can activate your new life now, whilst alive. She comes to visit you now so the fear of mortality passes and so that you understand you can begin to rebirth yourself into a new life, now.

FAIRY OF THE GREEN WORLD

This little green faery signifies and embodies the life force of the green world. She is seen tending to plants that are drooping, too moist, or too dry – she is like a nurse or healer, assigned to the plant realm, great forests and small personal gardens alike. She is joyful every time someone gives energy to this realm – every little bit helps nurture the plants, which are very tired: fewer and fewer plants and trees and forests are expected to provide more and more life-giving oxygen for animals, elements, and we humans! Sometimes she becomes overwhelmed by all we humans have done to the green world – so she may be about to ask for your help. When you give her your help, blessings are returned to you threefold.

The green world is changing, and I am asking for your help. The world needs you to tend the green things in it in some way right now – and it is your time to make a contribution. Time to plant a garden, assist another with theirs, or share some food, flowers, or herbs from your own. Develop your connection to solar energy, find your own water source, and depend less on supermarkets, ATMs and electricity.

Learn to live with her, the soul of the green world. By providing the world with this beautiful example, you are nourishing and nurturing our mother, the Earth, who feels so tired some days! Find a forest, or a grove of trees, or a fairy ring of mushrooms – somewhere that speaks to your soul – and sit with her a while. When she breathes her messages through the leaves and whispers words of wisdom into your ears, you will know the right place and time to devote this sacred donation of time and energy. I thank you in advance. The faeries will be sure to help you in return!

It is a time for growth, for abundance, for the earth element to find its way true and strong in your beautiful life! Join with the natural energies of the planet – and the galaxy!

LANTERN FAIRY

This sweet fairy is showing you a way through a barrier you have reached in your life. This may be in any area of your life – but it does feel that you have come up against a very solid obstacle. This gentle fairy, with her bright lantern, can take you to a place in this wall that has already come down, so you can move through this obstacle without force or fear. Your only requirement is to trust this fairy and then to take down several bricks after you have moved through so the wall between this world and the next, your love and your life, becomes slowly less and less solid. The wall is coming down: this is the fairy’s role, to help you move beyond the wall. Trust her. She will guide you.

Sometimes, people say you should be cautious about where information is coming from. And that is indeed true. I am simply holding up the lantern I carry and gently letting you see the likely outcome of the decisions you are making and offering a clear solution to the problem at hand. Something has come to an end. A true end, and you have, as they say, hit the wall. You could try digging under it, or climbing over it, or you could try taking down the wall brick by brick. But if you follow me, I can show you a place where the wall has already come down, and where you can move through this obstacle without pain. My guidance is safe, clear, and gentle. I am here to clear the way and light the path. It is up to you whether you make it harder than it needs to be.

Old patterns are being removed, little by little, but will need your trust. Old shielding against certain energies needs to be replaced and reworked, as it is no longer in line with what you wish for and in fact may be proving to be a barrier, which is keeping you isolated instead of protected. Trust where the light leads you – go where you can feel true love, kindness, and freedom. Avoid all that comes from anger, hatred, judgement, blame and ridicule.

Well that was quite delicious if I do say so myself! I love how this deck reflects shadow and brings it into the light. Samhain is almost here, Full Moon in Taurus, and time to embrace your shadows.

Happy Miraculous, Magickal, Mystical, Melancholy, Magnificent, Misty, Merry, Manifesting Monday!

How are you fabulous one? We have had amazing weather here for the last two days, the absolute epitome of Fall! Cold, crisp, breezy, bright and the colours on the trees are stupendous! So I made sure I got out in the leaves this weekend (even bundled up to the hilt) and revelled in it all, as it will be gone soon enough.

What I am absolutely pig wiggly tickled about is, Samhain is almost here!!! (You may know it as Halloween) and I love, love, love Halloween. The smells, the leaves, the costumes, the decorating – the whole nine yards!

At the time that most of us celebrate Halloween it is also the festival of Samhain, the third and final Harvest festival where we celebrate with fire, eating and honouring the dead. In many places, Samhain coincides with the end of the growing season. Vegetation dies back with killing frosts, and therefore, literally, death is in the air. This contributes to the ancient notion that at Samhain, the veil is thin between the world of the living and the realm of the Dead and this facilitates contact and communication. This is also the Celtic New Year. Now I know some people get a tad tweaky when we talk Death, but death represents a release, whether it’s a release of breath, a release of habit, a release of a relationship. That’s all it is.

So to help you with one of the most important celebrations on The Wheel of the Year, and to share with you rituals to celebrate your ancestors, I have created a fabulous Book of Samhain (fondly referred to as BOS). 39 pages of information, rituals, crystals, guided visualisation and all sorts more. On Samhain (October 31st) we have our second Full Moon of the month. This is the first full moon to fall on Halloween since 2001 and we won’t see another one until 2039. Having two full moons within the same month indicates an overall theme of release, and it seems there is a lot unraveling under the power of this Blue Moon. Which ties in seamlessly with the energy of Samhain.

Under the dim light of the Blue Moon, visualize your chakras awakening one by one. See them shining like bright balls of rainbow light. See them opening and connecting you to your higher self and to the realms above.

As Forever shares:- “If you have a loved one that has crossed over, on this night say a special prayer, or do something to remind you of them. Eat their favorite food, or light a candle in their name.

And beyond reaching out to passed loved ones, make time to acknowledge the “deaths” both great and small in your life. There are so many things that have “died” this year, so honor the ones that matter most to you, even if they are a little painful.

Look to nature for guidance, as it is always showing us how it dies and rebirths itself again and again. So, while this Blue Moon carries some volatility, it also reminds us to get grounded and rooted in our being, so we can reach into the realms unknown.

So on Samhain the sky is going to be bright with this glorious Taurus Full Moon, which creates a glorious mix of Shadow and Light. Yet I see so many people stuffing what they perceive as their “Shadow” pieces. The pieces that they don’t like, or that are judged by others as “not suitable for present company!” This in turn creates a fragmentation and a sense of not being whole, it also encourages people pleasing and mask wearing to fit it.

So what if on Samhain you chose to release stuffing your shadows and really embrace, love and trust all the different parts of you that work together as you live your most creative, honest and beautiful life?

What if you actually remember and embrace all you are – a wholeness? Remembering the important life lessons that have come our way, such as: – I remember that masks that stay on too long will stick to my skin. I remember I always have a choice. I remember that if I am asked to keep a piece of me hidden, this is not where I belong. It’s about diving into your core values and living them.

So, when I went to the cards and asked who would like to guide and teach this week I nearly snorted tea out of my nose when I saw who were most adamant. (Seriously you can’t make this shit up!) SEA BEACON FAIRY

Sometimes, when a clear path seems to be taking you in the right direction, it helps to know who is holding the light up. Because while this beautiful Sea Beacon Fairy is most certainly guiding a lost ship, who knows whether she leads it toward rocks or toward safe harbour? And this is the choice you have to make now. Is this path that is clearly being lit the right one? Simply because there is light, is the source a true and good guide? Would you be best to await another way out of the storm – or are you so eager to avoid the storm and the challenge that you will follow the first light that comes along?

The Sea Beacon fairy speaks to you and says – “I do hold up the light – but only you can choose as to whether the direction I will lead you is the right one for you at this time. It may be your salvation I lead you to – and it may be that I am gathering souls and you will perish upon rocks, or down in cold seas. I know this is hard to hear…..It is not a sure thing, this advice and guidance you have received, and for all its insistence that it ‘comes from the light,’ the advice may not be that which you need to follow at this time. I understand this may be confusing. But I am assuring you mostly of one great truth. That perhaps you must find your own way out at this time.”

A perfect solution to a problem has been presented to you. But whether it is wise to take it is another thing altogether. You may have more resources and opportunities than you are aware of or than you are allowing yourself to believe in. Do not be too quick to follow the first opportunity that comes. Wait, and check both your sources and your inner wisdom. There are many paths and many solutions. Not all advice will be right for you.

SEA STORM

Even though the seas are wild, the atmosphere is torn with stabs of lightning, and there is no land in sight, the Sea Storm being is following her intuition and she will know what to do to make it home. Lightning won’t strike her, and she will keep swimming until she reaches land.

She seems slightly in a trance and is using her inner wisdom and deep knowledge to swim home. She is from Atalantis, where she saw beings doing things that would lead to destruction. She has seen how their hubris led to this upheaval, and her home has sunk under the waves. She now goes out in search of her new home. So, too, can you.

Sea storm shares with you – “You are surrounded by storms, wild moments, and a great deal of emotional drama at this time. The world you know may be changing in almost unrecognisable ways. There is destruction behind you, and you have left it in the past, but you are still searching for your new home. You will find it if you turn inwards and listen to the inner knowledge that will send you in the right direction. Don’t ‘look’…Look.

You are a shapeshifter, and you are able to make it through this time with no land, no home, and no apparent rescue by trusting that you will make it.”

This is a time of upheaval and great change, but if you tune in to that deep inner voice and follow the radar you have built into your very cells, you will find the way home through all this chaos and wreckage.

The old world is gone: the new world is yet to be found. The journey will continue for some time – but trust. Trust. Trust and follow the compass of your inner guidance. Listen, check in with your wisdom, then go in that direction.

You may love your guilt-free rants, staying up too late, and happily behaving badly, but you’re about to balance all that out with some very powerful new spiritual teachings and connections.

You are to meet a wise one who seems very still, very slow, and very peaceful. She will be tranquil and serene and immersed in a path that until now has felt too slow, or “foreign,” for you. But this teacher, who is represented by the Pink Lotus Fairy, will assist you in finding more of your soul’s true wisdom. Within this time of inner discovery, you will commit to disciplined new training in the mental realms: study and physical movement that is unfamiliar to you, all of which helps you to naturally choose thoughts that are empowering and enlivening, yet completely authentic and real.
