What to do with Discontent and how Super Full Moon in Virgo can help!

Happy, happy Magnificent, Magickal, Marvelous, Manifesting, Majestic, Mischievous, Merry Monday!!!

The sun is out and the sky is blue – it makes me super happy, doobie doo, doobie doo! My pansies are positively perking their little heads up which is a delight to see as I thought that with the bitter cold, massive snow and blowing winds they had perished (as they looked exceptionally sad), but they are rallying and reaching their gorgeous little faces towards the lovely warm sun we have been getting for the last few days. Whoot!

Remember how at the beginning of the month we explored the Shamanic theme of ACTIVATION? How are you doing with this?

The other day I was talking with a client and she was totally bent out of shape, discontent was running rampant through her thoughts and emotions and there was that “itchy” feeling linked to not feeling comfortable in her own physical body. As she shared, it reminded me of what Lena had talked about at the beginning of this month. “Let’s talk about the discontent. There is an aggravated energy that is pushing us towards conflict or breakthrough, new insights and new solutions, and moving us through our discontent and maybe even anger. You must remember to accept this as an important energy that creates the necessary friction for a spark to take place that ignites a circumstance that creates a window for something new to happen and a resolution to be found.”

Okay, so hold that thought about discontent for a moment as we explore the Full Moon.

This month’s full moon is a glorious Super Moon in Virgo, also known as the Snow Moon and she comes with all her glory on Tuesday, February 19th. “This Super Full Moon is potent as it falls at zero degrees of Virgo. Zero is the number of potential and limitless opportunities. Zero is the blank canvas of all creation, signaling that this Full Moon is really going to offer infinite potential. This full moon is going to help us realise our potential and also the potential around us, it is also going to open us, broaden our horizons, and encourage us to open our minds and hearts to something beyond our current reality.” (Read that again, okay?)

“Creativity and inspiration are key words for this full moon and we need to give our imagination some room to play and dream. We can put off the organization of details as we remind ourselves that life is not all seriousness and growth. There needs to be time for the inner child to express through creativity without any attachment to a specific goal.

The needs for expansion, adventure and expression are alive and well and should be acknowledged as allies during this time. Any resistance you have to a little chaos should be let go on an exhale. Take a break, do something fun, give your creativity an outlet and share your gratitude and inspiration with others. With that said, it is also good to make a plan for organizing the details and giving some structure to what comes from imagination, inspiration and creativity.”

Thus, I have an invitation for you. What if you took any discontent you are feeling it and instead of focusing on the discontent you used that energy to really, really fuel your passions and creativity? What would happen? Wouldn’t that be a far better way to utilise it? Now you may be thinking – Jenny, easier said than done, but let’s try a little exercise. Think of those pockets of discontent (with no judgement attached), write them down on the left hand side of a piece of paper. Yes? Now reframe them to a positive and write those on the right hand side of the paper. So for example if an area of discontent were physical body and feeling blaugh and tired – reframe it to something you enjoy i.e. “I love walking in the woods or through the meadows, stretching my legs and filling my lungs up with fresh air.” Capeche?

For myself, one of my passions is gardening and growing things. However, with all the snow we have had and most everything getting cancelled I was getting pretty grumpy about the fact that my inner green thumb needed an outlet to play in. So, on Saturday there was a huge “Seedy Saturday” held at the Convention Centre here, the place was filled with plants, seeds, workshops, bees, honey and you could even rent a chicken! My friend Marja and I went and explored and bought little brown packets of unusual seeds, ogled the bees, picked up literature pertaining to gardening with native plants and I grabbed a huge bundle of lavender that you can cook with. When we got home with our treasure trove of promise we made a plan as to who would grow what and we would share, that way we both ended up with twice as many different plants. We then took the lavender and a shed ton of lemons (which is more than a truck load) and made 9 (yes 9!) lavender lemon pound loaves with a simple syrup of lemon and lavender. Oh My Goddess!!!! Divine, delicious, decadent, delightful and scrumdelicious! So by using the energy of my discontent and funnelling it towards my passion it has set all sorts of wheels in motion and planning galore! (Oh yes, and a great desire to have bees but not rent a chicken!)

So with the divine energy of this wonderful Super Moon in Virgo I invite you to play with the exercise above and when you have finished the reframe, take the left side of the paper (the discontent blurps), light a candle and burn the paper. Offer it up to become cosmic compost and welcome in the intentional energy of creation, activation and inspiration. Are you game?

Okay, enough chuntering from me, let’s dance over to the reading. When I went to my cards and asked who wanted to come support, guide and inspire the Oracle of Shadow and Light did a delightful tap dance to grab my attention. When I asked the crystals who wanted to join in it didn’t surprise me to see Black Moonstone – a powerful connector to the Divine Feminine, Brecciated Jasper – a wonderful grounding stone and helps with physical strength and vitality and last but not least, Moonstone – mystery, self discovery and the Goddess.

Okay, I invite you to take a moment or two just for you. Breathe in long and deep through your nose and out through your mouth. As you feel your shoulders settle, your jaw relax and your breathing lengthen invite in the question of passion. What are you passionate about? What can you reframe from discontent to passion? Let that energy flood up and when you are ready pick the card or cards that tug at you.

But even she knows she is simply amusing herself and that there is a hole t the center of her being where she wishes she were loved for who she truly is and could rely only on her talent and style to express herself, and not be judged for this. To be her friend is no problem at all as long as you remain truly yourself. Only, being with her has somehow made you wish to be more like her. So my delicious lovely, remember to use the energy of this glorious Full Moon on Tuesday to really focus on what you want to create, to ignite your desires and passions. Ask yourself and your inner wise voice “What do I really want?” Write your list of releases and desires, light a candle – give yourself the time to filter and listen. Happy Marvelous, Magnificent, Momentous, Magickal, Majestic, Mystical, Merry, Manifesting Monday! How was last night’s eclipse for you? Remember this energy isn’t just for that one day, it will be burbling along for a couple of months (yes, I did say months). So remember to continually come back to your intention and to watch where your thoughts go. If you find your mind wandering down the dark alleyway of fear and limiting beliefs, entice it back out into the open with a nice cuppa tea and a choccie biccie! Yes? But let’s talk about the energy of this amazing time. The energy is charged and deliciously delightful, did you know this is the last total lunar eclipse until 2021? Also, that it was visible over most of North America and South America? This is big and the energy is amazing! Many people are confused as to what a Super Moon, Blood Moon, Eclipse mean. So let’s have a look at that.

A Blood Moon is when there is a total lunar eclipse and the moon actually turns a blood red, it is quite amazing to see. Super Moon means that the Moon is closer to earth than it ever normally is, thus much, much bigger in the night sky. Wolf Moon – this is the name given to the Full Moon in January as it was said that the wolves howled at the moon due to lack of food. I personally prefer the Celtic story that says:-

“Lleuad Blaidd – Wolf Moon happens in “Faoilleach”, the old Gaelic/Irish winter month meaning “Month of the Wolf”. The cold January Wolf Moon lights the path of the hunters, showing them the way. Intuitive and shadowy, the wolf is often connected with the moon and her cycles. In Celtic mythology, the wolf is companion the fertile white Moon Goddess Cerridwen. Although often associate with war and destruction, the wolf is also linked to ancient mysteries of death and rebirth and guides to positive change. In Gaelic wolf “Madadh Alluidh” or “Mac-Tire”, meaning “Earth’s son”. Fierce, shy, loyal and cunning the wolf communicates power and leadership to the pack through its eyes, voice and body language.

Now what does this all mean to you?

If you remember Eclipses intensify and bring things out of the shadows and up to the surface. With this being a super moon and a full moon eclipse things can feel even more intensified. Now this may linger around until July (to be honest) when we have a partial lunar eclipse. Passions and emotions are going to be heightened to say the least and this is most certainly the moon to work with to get back to your path and the things that bring you joy! Now if you happen to be at a family dinner and Uncle Edward is a tad snappy and heightened (and no it’s not the red wine), let it go. Remember as a human body we are 60% water and a moon like this can move oceans all over the place, so think about your little cells, especially the fact that your brain and heart are 73% water! Hello! I love what Lena Stevens shares:- “Despite the intensity, it is crucial that you focus on your personal truth regarding your intentions, dreams and desires. Don’t get derailed by drama that is not yours and make sure to be around people and in places that you love and feel inspired by. Any prayers during this time will be greatly supported so be generous with them. What do you have a passion for? Embrace it and put forth your desire to explore it in the adventure that is your life. Include a little gratitude as well for all that you do have and all that is going well.

It is also a good time to focus prayers on how you wish to experience your world. Without judgment, blame or attachment to how it should look (in your opinion), imagine how it would feel everyday if you woke up feeling the inspiration, beauty and joy of a cooperative, compassionate and loving planet. Put that prayer into your heart and project it like an arrow into the world. There are a lot of things in this world you cannot control, but your prayers are something you can. So pray your very best during this intense and powerful time, not only for yourself but for all your relations.

This is a good time for change, commitment, putting yourself first, expanding your growth, pushing beyond your comfort zone, thinking outside the box and dreaming big. Let’s set some good intentions and do it!”

Now if you weren’t able to see the Moon, nor celebrate it – don’t fret – there is still time, this Moon impacts energy for the next 6 months -ish. So do your Full Moon release, set your intentions and really harness this energy for YOU! Remember, this is a year of joy, renewal and creation, so the dust bunnies that hang out in your psyche need to go find a new home! I personally grabbed a friend and we yomped down to the beach in the dark. I cast a circle (the second one of this month), called in the directions and lit candles. We then offered up pain, prayers, praise, passion and purpose as the moon went it’s glorious blood red, harnessing this intense energy for self, family, community and globally. It was amazing! What was also very cool was that quite a few people had gone down to the beach to watch, yet you couldn’t see them in the dark, you could just hear their murmurs mingled with the waves as they offered up their prayers. Very powerful! We then yomped back home and had huge mugs of hot tea as the temperature dropped 8 degrees! I also had all my crystals outside for the night.

Today is Martin Luther King day and why do I bring that up? If you think about it, he epitomises the energy of focusing on what was important to him, to his family, community and globally and he funneled his energy with laser focus towards making a difference. Even though others said it could not be done, things couldn’t change. Yet he did and he focused on following what was important to him, he was passionate about to following his dream. If you remember he gave a speech in 1963 that is called the “I have a Dream” speech. What amazing energy that really invites us all to take up a bigger space and to focus on our passions and how they can help, support, inspire and serve others. Absolutely perfect at this amazing Eclipse time!

Can you feel the energy of renewal, creation and expansion? The invitation to take up a bigger space? I most certainly can and when I saw cherry blossom and all the flowers popping up – I was like a Labrador puppy, absolutely wiggly with excitement!!!!

Okay, when I went and asked the cards who would like to share, guide and support this week I giggled out loud when I saw it was The Oracle of Shadows and Light, how appropriate for Eclipse time! Let me give you a brief intro to your gorgeous guides – “Lurking in the most ordinary places, behind the door, under the floorboards, in the pumpkin patch, and in the great underneath of our cities, dwell some very wise beings who whisper to us, but who we often can’t hear amid the noise of our everyday lives. They will ask you to look at what you may have been afraid of. They will ask you to work with the whole of yourself, for in that way, you will become the unique and amazing individual you are.”

The crystals that wiggled and jiggled to come and participate are:- Black Moonstone – which enhances creativity and connects you to the divine feminine, Stilbite – used for psychic guidance and creativity, and Moonstone – a healing crystal that manifests peace and harmony with the body and Spirit. Interesting to see that feathers wanted to participate as well, as they are an element of Air, think about your breathe. We inhale new and exhale old – food for thought…..

So delicious lovely please gift yourself a moment or two. A moment or two to just Breathe and BE, this is a powerful release and intention time. Breathe that in. VOODOO IN BLUE

This fairy is letting you know that it’s time to back off from a person or situation that is not in your best interests….and that you may need to be brave and stop being so welcoming of what you actually do not want! So, this blue fairy, waving her voodoo doll, is letting you know very clearly that you now must tell someone to take a step back. You know you have been overriding your instincts with what seems rational, with misguided desire to help and befriend someone who may not be particularly good for you.

Voodoo in Blue doesn’t mind if she looks bit nasty when she gives the back-off message: she’d rather she was loud and clear and that the person pushing her buttons leaves quickly. So, she wants you to start trusting your instincts. To start being honest above being “nice”.

Well I don’t know about you sweetie. But those are very clear messages and the absolutely perfect ones for this Eclipse time! So wishing you a stupendous week filled with remembering that you are an incredible, amazing, powerful beastie. Full Lunar Eclipse on a Blood Moon! Change & Transformation is in the Air.

Happy delicious and delightful Monday gorgeous one! How has your week been?

I don’t know about you but it has been hawt, hawt, hawt here and so I have been emulating a reverse sun dial and moving from patch of shade to patch of shade lol. This has proved challenging at times as a while ago I decided that I really needed a large workshop/shed and so Wednesday found me in the baking hot sun framing up the walls! (What’s that saying about mad dogs and English men going out in the noon day sun?) Needless to say I felt rather crispy after 9 hours of building in the heat, but very satisfied that the framed walls were up. Then on Sunday I spent another 7 hours starting to put up the sheathing and figuring out the roof pitch and rafter cut lines. So slowly but surely this space will get completed over the next 10 days and then I can start filling it with all the lovely things that need to be kept safe and dry.

Remember the other week we talked about “eclipse season” and how eclipses bring up the hidden and there is an energy of transformation and change? So the partial solar eclipse in Cancer that happened on July 12th really set in motion quite a few cosmic revelations about your life and there was most certainly a nudging towards something different. With that being said, we are coming up to the second eclipse already (time just seems to fly). This is a full lunar eclipse of the Blood Moon in Aquarius, it’s also the longest lunar eclipse of the 21st Century as it lasts 103 minutes. I could write soooooo much about this eclipse, but then the reading would be like a small novella, so if you are part of the community and receive emails from me I will send something out near the end of the week to help you work through this energy. What you do need to pay attention to is the Blood Moon shoves us towards change and with this full moon and eclipse there is a real resetting of emotions, a clearing away of the emotional baggage of the previous 6 months. So if you are feeling the increased emotional energy, a sensation of something big is going to happen, or just a tad fragmented, remember to breathe, take a moment and just let the feelings flow through you. Okay? A quick and easy tool to use at this time is keeping a piece of Indigo Gabbro (aka Mystic Merlinite) with you, either in your pocket, stuff it into your bra – whatever works for you.

When I was asking the cards who wanted to come and offer support and guidance this week it was no surprise to me that a gorgeous deck I acquired a few weeks ago stood up front and centre. This glorious deck is “The Oracle of the Shapeshifters”. Let me share with you a little of how this deck works. “This deck is filled with mystic familiars for times of transformation and change. Fear corrupts and these guides are for anyone experiencing a transformation and who may be fearful of that change. Change is one way of staying very much alive – it’s necessary and healthy. True deep change must take place for you to fulfill your soul contract. If you are blocked in terms of change and fear it, you will perhaps have a tougher time changing. You may turn from possibility to what you have convinced yourself is probable: You diminish your possible self, reduce who you are, and dilute your spirit. For some, this is more comfortable than facing the fear of evolving actively. But even when we have diminished ourselves, sought to remain invisible and hidden away, and said yes to everyone else, life will find us – and transform us.”

Thus, it is no surprise with what is happening that these delightful guides have come out to support and guide. The crystals that came to join in with this reading are:- Bloodstone, Lepidolite with Mica and Sodalite, the nasturtium flowers, mint and lemon balm were adamant they got to participate as well, and then they gladly hopped into a salad! Nom, nom, nom.

YOU ARE UNLIKE ANYONE ELSE

As caterpillars undergo metamorphosis, they turn to a sort of mush inside their cocoons. So too in your life everything seems to have lost direction and feels quite meaningless, but you will regroup, reform, and transform. A new world speaks of the necessary process you must undergo in order to create an important change. Developing new true friendships, repairing a damaged relationship, working on your skills in an area that does not come easy to you, making difficult choices about your integrity – all are addressed by the beings in this card, as they too have undergone the challenge of change. You will notice that on the card there are beings who are hybrid – the butterfly frogs – who are at once not quite one thing or another. This is how your changes can seem to others sometimes.

“Which are you?” they may ask. “This or that?” Many in life will want you to fit nicely into a category so they can easily label you and not undergo the difficult task of truly knowing who you are. You do not have to choose between things. Humans are often contradictory. Simply be true to you. Be a frog with wings! Be all of who are and experiment. Let others be puzzled. You have the courage to defy boxes, labels, and other easy ways of avoiding truly knowing people and the world.

There is no one like you. You have gone through a very difficult time, but you have passed the test and been reborn. You have done well to keep going, and now you can begin to see how worthwhile all the changes and sacrifices were. A new time begins now. WOLF MOON

A beautiful girl is seated beneath a perfect full moon, unable to sleep. She wraps her arms about the wolf, her companion. If you look closely, you’ll see she has a tattoo of a wolf’s footprint. She is one of the clan; she is different in form, though she is one of their own. The wolf is being held by the small girl – they are not the same, but they are kin, and one is changing, which requires courage and commitment, and flourishes best when protected. The girl may be about to turn, change form, or she may be holding one who is about to change. You are always in this process of transformation, and when you have a guardian, you will be supported through your shifts into many selves.

The lunar aspect of this card is protective; the moon’s fullness suggests a high tide of power, and this is traditionally the time of great change and metamorphosis. There may be great sadness id doing so, but you will grow so much because you have chosen the better way to deal with this sad situation. You may be reluctant to see an ending – you may wish to extend the time you have with someone, or you may even feel like you are being cheated out of something you deserve. But the truth is that things must die in order to be reborn in another form at a later time. This is the chosen time to go, and from the ashes, something new will arise, and it will be even better than you can imagine. Rebirth cannot take place without a death – and it is now time to end something, to let something both externally and internally die. It may be a long-held belief, a place that seemed to hold security, a friendship that has grown unhealthy, someone you’ve been going out with who no longer wishes to see you, or a beloved family member who may not be in this world much longer. Whatever it is, let it – let them – go! Something else will return to you. And you cannot be reborn unless you first know how to die. This is your chance to learn something very profound, deep, and important. Do not miss it by resisting what must take place.

Full Flower Moon, Shed Building and Hot, Hot, Heat!

Happy, happy magickal, manifesting, marvelous, last Monday in May! I don’t know about you but I sure feel that this month has just flown by! Phew. How have you been? It feels like yonks since we last connected, and yet it has only been two weeks. It was sooooo nice to celebrate the long weekend and just relax, play, hike and plan. On the Friday of the long weekend I was sitting out in the garden and looking around and appreciating how with the hot weather we have been having all the plants are pushing out of the ground and reaching for the sun. In fact one whole bed has self planted itself with sunflowers! I must have at least 60 in there, so we will have to do some gentle transplanting so they all have room and space to grow and flourish.

Anyhow, there I was perking and looking when all of a sudden I realised I needed a workshop, or a shed or a something. A structure that could be home to all my tools with a lovely rack off the side to hold the paddle boards and kayaks. So I grabbed my tape measure and wandered around the yard looking for “the right location”, when I found it I measured it up, grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil and started sketching out what I wanted. How big, what roof design etc etc. (This is where my capacity to over think can be a royal pain in the arse!) A few hours later I had called the lumber yards, priced out all the wood etc and poured concrete pads (not bad for a Friday night lol). Then for the next 2 days I dug, and dug, and dug and levelled, and dug and dug (have to say I wasn’t digging the digging), and doing that in a balmy 98F was a bit much. However, by the end of the weekend the area was level and ready to welcome a new structure. I on the other hand was sun crispy and feeling a tad peely wally as I had had too much sun! So this last weekend, I grabbed the wood and have built the foundation and got the floor on – whoot! Whoot! Huge happy dance (in fact I think I did one on the floor of the workshop). So the next part is my favourite, framing the walls in and getting them up and clad. This lovely workshop is going to look fabulous by the time she is done and I’m building little planters to hang on the outside and I might even paint some lovely flowers up one wall – but that will have to wait a while. However, it feels good to be building and creating and taking something from an idea into manifestation, right?

On Tuesday we welcome in the glorious Full Flower Moon. This is a glorious time to really luxuriate in seeing the plans you made months ago coming into fruition. It’s also a fabulous time to tend your most cherished and promising endeavours as well as to create more future plans that are really aligned with who you are and your values. Make a list of all the things you would like to do, be, create etc for this upcoming summer season and then put that list outside with your crystals and let it get deliciously charged up with this fiery full moon light. I personally plan on putting all my crystals outside, including the ones that I wear and letting them have a gorgeous moon bath.

The deck that was very wiggly and jiggly to come work with us this week is the wonderful Divine Circus Oracle, I so enjoy this deck and the insights it brings me. The crystals that were adamant it was their turn to play are Mookaite, Jasper and Calcite, and what better place to do the reading than outside on the floor of the new workshop with a dusting of Rowan tree petals.

So let’s take a moment to just settle into ourselves. Take a glorious deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth and let your face, shoulders, scalp gently relax. As your breathing starts to slow trust yourself and allow your inner deep wise one to float up to the surface and help you pick the card or cards for you this week. Princess Victorious

You are being asked to be a big picture person for the moment. Sometimes immediate gratification has to give way for a grander scheme unfolding, which will ultimately lead you to far greater and more meaningful success. What seems to be a delay, obstacle, loss or even failure now is a twist in the plot of your life, necessary for your gracious destiny to unfold according to a higher plan.

It can be hard to keep faith when you’ve been defeated just one too many times. It is easy to make fear and doubt mean something they don’t; it’s usually something like being doomed to fail and so we might as well give up. However, fear and doubt are just symptoms of fatigue. They are signs that we are feeling battle weary when it comes to life. To overcome weariness and create happiness, you are being asked to temporarily surrender your need to win – just for now. Instead, you are guided to step back, regroup, replenish, be kind to yourself and know this: sometimes you have to be willing to lose the battle to win the war. That means being willing to go through things in the short term that might seem like failure without losing confidence, courage and trust that everything is going to go your way in the long term.

Know that you are strong and determined enough to bounce back and overcome difficult circumstances. You will be given the power to succeed at the right time and in the best way for all concerned. So give in to how your journey is unfolding – even if it seems like you are losing when you’d rather be winning – but don’t give up hope. Trust that the universe is strategic. It is helping you to succeed. If you need a sign to know that things are going to work out for the best, even if it seems like they are falling apart along the way, then this is it!

Joker is Wild

The Universe has a sense of humour, but never at your expense. It is laughing with you, not t you. You’ll see this for yourself as the Joker weaves her magic in your life, bringing you the grace that is beyond all reason, the necessary ingredient to ensure you win with the hand you have been dealt by life. There’s nothing impossible when the Joker appears. Her wild ways can transform a losing streak into a lifelong love affair with lady Luck.

Strap yourself in and prepare for the ride of a lifetime. The Joker has come to you and the Joker is wild. Unpredictable and brilliant, she brings you a message. You are being empowered to overcome all odds. So you are going to win. No doubts, no dramas, but not necessarily in a way that you expect either! Just don’t expect to feel in control of the process, for the Joker is wild and moves according to her own genius, but always blesses you with what will work best, beyond compare, now and always.

Divine Disguise

Some blessings are obvious – the door that opens, the person who says yes and the instant success of an idea. But not all blessings are instantly recognisable. Some blessings are so veiled that at first you might consider them to be an unwanted development. A concealed blessing is either already at work in your life or on its way. Don’t worry if you feel like things aren’t working out as they should. Soon enough, the disguise will be dropped, and the blessed unmasked in all its beauty.

Blessings are the mysterious workings of the universe, there to help us along our unique life path to live our truths and fulfil our potential. The universe has the knack of knowing just what it is we need, even when sometimes we might think we need something altogether different. This is how it can be that something we resist and reject in our lives can become the very thing we’re most grateful for later on. The real beauty of a situation isn’t obvious to you yet. It could be a delay or change in plans that turns out to be in your favour, even if at the time you aren’t sure it signals failure! It could be the wrong person saying no so the right person can say yes. It could be being blocked from turning back to your past, so you must continue forward into the magic of your future.

But trust and have peace of mind and a realisation that the universe does really know what it’s doing. It’s in your corner, on your side, cheering you on and helping you avoid unnecessary pitfalls, even if you don’t know they exist.

So delicious lovely, have a wonderful week. Remember to wear sunscreen, drink water and celebrate all the wonderful little things that happen in the day. Like the crows that come strutting through the yard when I put the sprinkler on, they have a glorious shower, fluff their feathers, give a deep croaking caw and fly off to preen themselves. Full Moon in Scorpio, Beltane and Sacred Groves! Weekly Reading April 30th.

Happy Magnificent, Magickal Monday! How has your energy been this week? To be honest I noticed that for the last 6 or 7 days mine was “tweaky”. In other words it felt like I was itchy from the inside out, which is no surprise as we have a fabulous Full Moon in Scorpio (Sunday April 29th PST). This is a powerful Full Moon inviting us to dig deep and really let go, in essence allow some things to die, of old ways of being. It’s an invitation for transformation which gets even more amplified as we have Beltane on Tuesday! (I love Beltane!) However, even with all the internal itchiness it was a glorious weekend of garden time, play time and relax time, which really charged me up (that and the fact I decided on Sunday I had a craving for Black Forest Cake, so made one and ate half of it!) No, there is no need to advise me on diet please, I eat clean and well about 98% of the time and if I have a craving for something decadently delicious, I am gonna fill it! Nom, Nom, Nom!

It was so wonderful to get beds upon beds planted with various wildflowers to entice hummingbirds, bees, butterflies and faerie folk to come play, and just to get covered in dirt and have that glorious sense of physical contentment of creating sacred space. Next task is the veggie beds!

This morning as I was sitting on my deck, with a gentle rain pattering down, it was so wonderful to look around and see planted up beds, that the Rowan tree had burst into full brilliant green leaf and the tulip heads were getting fatter. It’s not a joke, Spring is here! Which is no surprise as Beltane is the festival that heralds in the fertility and growth of Spring. This is the time of unity between the Goddess and the God and massive celebration. For those of you who are on the email list there will be more information on Beltane tomorrow and a couple of super simple (we like simple) rituals to mark this fantabulous day. The colours of Beltane are red, green, white or silver and the ritual trees of this celebration are Birch, Hawthorn (which isn’t so common where I live currently) and of course Rowan. Speaking of Rowan, when my fourth child was born I had a ring made of Celtic knot work with Rowan leaves on it to celebrate his arrival.

Anyhow, let’s go play with magick and invite the faeries in. The cards that were most insistent on coming to guide this week are The Oracle of the Dragonfae, and that doesn’t surprise me at all. This is a time of magick, fertility, conception and growth and who better to help us see into the realms than the Dragonfey. With the Full Moon happening I have had all my crystals sitting out in the moonlight getting cleansed and washed with the Spring rain (except my Selenite as that one is not a fan of water). So when there was a brief dry moment I went and did the reading outside and the crystals that wiggled and woggled out of their moon bathing place are:- Fire Agate, Red Snowflake Obsidian and Moonstone.

I’ve created a visualisation that you can use today and for Beltane if you would like.

If not, just get really present in your body, breathe long, slow and deep and as you do invite your inner wise being to come for a natter and ask what you need to know at this moment in time, or pertaining to a certain situation or idea. Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that tug at you.

THE DAWN WATCHER

Never think that you are alone in this world…you do have guardians and I am one of them. I will literally ring alarm bells for you when you have need of forewarning and foreknowledge. There is nothing to fear when you receive these messages; you simply need to pay attention, take note and act when the time is right. I will always alert you and it is my particular domain and charge to watch for the new sky as the sun rises and to let you know that what you have hardly dared even hope for has every chance of coming true. Watch for the sunrise and know that as she does, so too do your hopes. And these bells will ring out for you to let you know of the approach of new growth, new warmth and a new energetic time coming for you. Listen and hear the bells ring for you. And then you shall awaken from your soul sleep!

It is time to be alert and aware; to arise early and to pay attention to the signs that abound around you – selectively. Focus on your mission at this time and work towards it. Be determined and do not allow others to distract you. Call on the Dawn Watcher to assist you to focus on the messages that are most worth hearing, and so that you do not go into fear. The Dawn Watcher is a very powerful guardian and will help you greatly be alerting you with plenty of time; all you need to do is pay attention.

Listen more respectfully to the bells of dreams, deja vu or of physical reactions to particular energies. The Dawn Watcher only weakens when you pay her bells no head, when you will not wake up and hear the calls. Know that you are always being watched over and being told through your body, your mind and your spirit of what is to come

I am Dragonfae, thus I am at once a being of copious laughter, and of earnest and deep study. Being Dragonfae, I know when to put aside my serious work and my mission, and play, laugh and love. I wish to be honest with you, so you understand what it is you think and feel you are wishing for.

Do you understand that in order for you to be in connection with all you feel you desire that there will be what many consider to be sacrifices along the way?

Do you understand that what we can offer you is shelter, yes, soft and sweet, tender and shaded beneath the heat of the sun, a place to rest and sleep and dream? But do you also know that others will say you dwell in a fantasy land and that what you dream of cannot be? You will need to care for yourself and to allow others to be who they are. For this is the path of clarity: knowing who you are and the part you play in all things. Leave your expectations behind and be prepared to discover more magick than you ever thought possible. Do not seek to possess anything…and know that you are free to choose, in every moment, if you will go on.

Do you understand that if you wish to be of this realm, and yourself entirely, that you will give up some old ways of thinking? Otherwise you may find yourself hurt by the conflict such incompatible thoughts and feelings will bring.
