Memorial Day & The One Phrase to Unf*ck Yourself

Happy Magnificent, Magickal, Marvelous, Majestic Memorial Monday (to all my US friends), and happy Spring Bank holiday to all my lovely UK friends! Wow, May seems to have just flown by! It just seems a few days ago that I was talking about the energy of AWARENESS for this month and pffft, the month is almost done. Although, I will say I am reveling in the warm weather, the garden growth and all the amazing smelly flowers that come out and dance for us in Spring.

So this last week I was feeling rather stuck, not physically as I tend to do about 15 – 18 km a day, but most certainly mentally, energetically and spiritually. There was something brewing and it most certainly wasn’t burbling up to the surface, instead it was trying to drag me down the rabbit hole. (Which I did do for a day, to be honest). So the next morning I got up and told myself very sternly that I needed to shift my mindset or it wouldn’t be pretty and I also didn’t like how it was making me feel. (Not a huge fan of stagnation and all the rest of that).

So that day, I took a bit of a break in the afternoon and went for a huge yomp with the doggo and instead of chanting (which I do every morning) , putting on music, or being alone with my thoughts I quickly scanned my Audible library. As I was frantically filtering through it there was a whisper saying – “There is something here you need to listen to!” ‘Lo and behold, a book came up that I had bought a year ago and had never listened to and when I started playing it I laughed at the Divine Guidance that just flitted in behind me and kicked me up the arse with a large Doc Martin (in a very kind way).

Guess what the book was called?

UnFuck Yourself

Yes that’s right, that was the title. (Do you think the Universe was telling me something? lol) So as I yomped I started listening and by the second chapter I was in love with the book. It also helped that it was read by the author who is Scottish and I am a sucker for a Scottish or Irish accent.

So what’s the phrase you may be wondering that can really Unfuck you……… Ready? Super simple, but super powerful when faced with confusion, stagnation and all the rest of that dross.

The phrase is “AM I WILLING?” e.g:- Am I willing to do the work to make a change? Am I willing to get off the sofa and go to the gym to lose weight? Am I willing to release those relationships that drain me? AM I FUCKING WILLING TO MAKE CHANGE? Then interestingly enough the author goes on to say, if you can’t come up with anything to put on your AM I WILLING list. Turn it around and ask yourself the same question in a different way “WHAT AM I NOT WILLING TO DO OR PUT UP WITH?” e.g:- I am not willing to put up with this abusive relationship. I am not willing to continually struggle. I am not willing to be continually dismissed. I am not willing to feel unhealthy………..

Are you getting it now? Dare you to give it a try, it’s quite fascinating to play with, write down and it most certainly unravels those threads that can make you feel like you are tied up in a knot.

Interestingly enough I worked through my I AM WILLING list whilst playing with alcohol inks for the first time. Let me tell you, if you want a lesson in releasing control, giving up perfection, being open to the possibilities and creating something stunning – play with alcohol inks! They flow where they want to and where you send them with your breathe. The more rubbing alcohol you put on them, the more diffused they can be, but if you leave them fairly straight the colours are so vibrant and intoxicating. Plus, they play nicely with each other and create new colours together (we always like things that play well together!). So as I was trying them out with no idea what would happen, or what would be the outcome I had to ask myself “AM I WILLING” to let go of perfection and allow the process? Ahhhh, and now the list started flowing.

Okay so with that food for thought let’s crack on. The cards that were very clear that they wanted in, in a big way this week are The Divine Circus Oracle. Now, if these amazing guides are new to you, please let me introduce you (as that’s always polite, right) – I laughed as these glorious guides are playful, but deep. They think outside the box and invite you to do the same. “What is life if not a Divine Circus? Life might seem ordinary at times, yet when we look more closely, it is bursting with creative diversity, constantly evolving, pulling rugs out from underneath our feet (usually just at the moment we think we have everything under control) and opening doors we couldn’t even see were right there before us moment earlier. Life is magical, thrilling, sometimes strange and even scary. It can inspire you and touch your soul, inviting you to discover the unique magic within you, to dare to live it, to express it, to play with possibilities and embrace what sets you apart from the crowd. “

Crystals that came to play are:- Sodalite – brings mental calmness and rational thinking, Morganite – It cleanses the emotional body of stress and anxiety, old wounds and hidden traumas, and enkindles lightness within the spirit, as if a burden has been lifted, Orthoceras – which is a fossil (do you see the little fish in it), assist you in moving from the old to the new and to be receptive to the fresh, innovative forces that are available to you. Fossils can assist you in your quest for transition, transformation and personal growth, helping you to understand the process of change. The flowers are glorious phlox that fill the house with an amazing scent.

Okay, take a moment to drop back into your body, breathe yourself back, long, slow and deep. Gift yourself at least 4 long breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth and allow the phrase “I AM WILLING…..” to drift up into your mind eye. Put no attachment on it, just let it dance there and then when you are ready to pick, pick the card or cards that can help answer that question and support you this week.

There is an original you, the you that has always been and will always be you. No matter how much the outer forms of your body, your work, your lifestyle, your world seem to change, the original, essential you is always there within, unique, precious and just as you were created to be.

Within you is an intelligence that helps you adapt to various life circumstances and situations. You might do this consciously or unconsciously, but the point of any type of adaptation is survival. There is more meant for you in this life than merely surviving. You are actually meant to thrive. You thrive most fully, abundantly and deliciously when you are just YOU. Not the version of you that another may prefer, nor the one that helps you fit into the crowd, but just YOU – as you have always been.

It’s time to get back to the essence of you. It might be time to go back to the things you dreamed about in childhood, or something that really feels like it expresses the true you but that you cast aside for some very logical and sensible reason or other. THE VELVET QUEEN

A rare prize is to be bestowed upon you. The universe is confirming that the most luscious dreams of your heart are being nurtured into manifestation. To this end, you shall be given a saving grace, an intervention if needs be. To be open to receive, surrender doubt in favour of unconditional trust. Through your trust and optimism, you make it easier for the universe to give you a most deserved gift. A rare prize is worth the effort to attain it. Your efforts will need to include loving discipline. Loving discipline is not about trying to bend the world according to your will but rather about readying yourself to align with the spirit of what you want to receive.

To receive, rather than attempt to take by force, requires strength, trust, spiritual intelligence and courage. It is easier to try and force things from a fearful place, but it is more effective and empowering to learn how to attract and receive through consciously chosen surrender. This allows the universe to do its best work for you! So it’s time to change your consciousness. Release issues around self-worth. Why should you not be empowered and assisted by the universe to create a life that fills you with joy and feels ‘just right’ for you? Of course you should, can will be! Release any lack of self-worth that would get in the way of your opening in complete trust to the universe.

Your most prized dream is within reach, through a combination of letting life unfold as it will and your own disciplined efforts. Don’t give up. You cannot make the fruit on the tree grow faster – that will happen according to the rhythm of life – but you can certainly do your part to be ready to climb the tree at the right moment to savour the sweetness of success!

BRILLIANT VIRGIN

In a world where we are bombarded daily with differing opinions and ideas, remaining true to you and your own point of view is nothing short of brilliant. Let go of confusion, distortion, comparison and compromise. You do not need to compare yourself to another or measure up to anyone or anything else. What matters to you and your successful life journey is to be in touch with your own truths. You know what you feel, no matter what anyone else says or believes. Stay true to you!

We have to trust that the inner vision, the hope, the dream within us, is going to be strong enough to stand the rigours of birth, and be able to come to life in the world. Sometimes we have to trust that we are enough, that we have goodness, value and worth, and so are worth the time, effort, patience and commitment required to transform our ideas into realities.

Stay true to you and your course. Do not allow yourself to be swayed by another, no matter how well-meaning their intentions may be or how impressive their arguments may seem. Do not water down the strength of your vision, your dream. You are meant to be birthing something unique into being. The world needs your originality! Pray for courage. Trust yourself.

When I saw the cards that chose to support, I giggled with delight as they all tie into the theme that I wrote about – WILLINGNESS and letting go of control. Seriously, you can’t make this shit up! We have a new month rushing in quickly which is a great time to get a monthly reading, the energy is going to shift and change and guess what? Summer Solstice is coming! (So love Summer Solstice!) Misplaced Long Weekend, Full Moon in Scorpio, Nature Lessons

Happy Magickal, Marvellous, Manifesting, Merry, Mellow, Monday! How are you delicious lovely? Did you have a splendid week? Here it is a long weekend, but the bizarre thing was my mind was so wrapped up in something else, I totally blanked. So along rolls the weekend and I’m like “What, how did I miss a long weekend and not make plans?” Yup, total brain fart which did throw me into a slight tail spin as I would have normally planned out the whole weekend and be doing, doing, doing (yes I am a doer!) Now don’t get me wrong, ask me when the Full Moon is, any of the Sabbats, the energy of the month all of that stuff – I have it dialed, but I blanked on the long weekend.

So on Saturday (which was the Full Moon in Scorpio) I was pondering what the heck I was going to DO for 3 days without a plan. I kept hearing a whisper – can you just BE with no plan? Can you just SIT with no plan? Can you just PLAY with no plan? Gulp! So I took it for a test drive, I made sure to bang off all errands, tasks etc early on Saturday and then went to an art supply store – why? A few months ago I saw a painting at the Art Gallery that made me suck in my breathe, the colours were so vibrant and it looked “interesting”. It was made with alcohol inks on Yopo paper, so I filed that away for a few months and then when in the art store I grabbed the things to play with this medium. Something I haven’t done in a long while. As I brought my treasures home I could feel the itchiness to be ‘doing’ something, so instead I went and sat out in the garden and then things became even more odd, lol.

So there I am on Saturday afternoon ( the full moon) sitting in the backyard, writing, creating and playing with a new oracle deck (wait until she decides to come out to play, very cool deck). Whilst puppers (aka Danu) was munching on a bone. The sun was shining and I was focused on BEing and trying to reign in my mind, which was berating me with a list of things I should be DOing, when all of a sudden I heard this loud “peep” sound. I looked over to where it was and there was nothing. I turned my attention back to the cards and the sound came again, except even louder. “PEEP”. I look up and around and still nothing, then just as I’m about to turn away all of a sudden this tiny hummingbird appeared in the barren spot I was looking at. He hovered in the exact same spot for a minute, made his sound, shot up at a rapid rate up into the air, and I mean about 60 feet up, and then as if he had run out of gas, plummeted straight down to the earth and just before I thought he was going to hit the ground he did a massive swoop up into the air and went back to the exact (I mean exact) same spot he started. WTF! Do I need to call someone, is this a suicidal hummingbird? He did this 4 more times then vanished for about 5 minutes and then repeated the process. Okay, I’m watching and paying attention, but I still didn’t understand. To me hummingbirds are the representatives of Joy and I have to admit my heart did soar to watch him dance in the sky and perform, so very cool. I then did a bit of research and found he was doing his mating dance, trying to entice the lovely female hummingbirds to him and that I didn’t need to call the Crisis hotline! I then checked out my amazing Animal Speak book and Hummingbirds represent “Tireless Joy and the Nectar of Life, Accomplishing that which seems impossible.”

So with that burbling in my heart and body I really played with the Full Moon. This Full Moon in Scorpio was deliciously intense, all about transformation, or as I like to call it – “transforfuckingmation”. So I made sure to gift myself with time and ritual in the evening to do some powerful releasing and reframing, it was very cathartic. I also filled up a huge jar of water and left it out in the moonlight with all of my crystals and my anathame to be cleansed and charged. Yummers!

On Sunday again I practiced just BEing (gosh it can be tough) and I went back out into the plants and the yard and watched Danu frolic and play and then I noticed this Bee. Not that it was a huge Bee or anything like that but the fact that it hovered in front of my face, approximately 10 inches away and just kept in one spot and stayed there for minutes, would do a swoop and come back – made me pay attention. So you remember that game as a kid where you stare at your friend and who blinks first loses? That’s what it reminded me of! This Bee was amazingly persistent and sometimes on his swoop he would bring a buddy back and they would both hover 10 inches from my face, so close I could see their little furry legs and the shadows of their wings as they moved at light speed. Get this. They did this for an hour! A whole hour! (I so lost the blinking game to be honest). So I talked to them, sang to them, all thoughts went out the window and I just played and focused on them and then all of a sudden I snorted water out of my nose with laughter as I realised I was BEEing! I know Bee is big wisdom and overcoming the impossible but I wanted to learn more, so I did. BEE represents Fertility and the Honey of Life, No matter how great the dream there is a promise of fulfillment if we pursue it.”

Am I paying attention now? You bet! For me these are amazing lessons to be reminded of, it’s been an interesting few weeks. I was so grateful to literally have it thrust into my face in such a way I couldn’t miss it if I wanted to! Gotta love how Nature talks to us and gives us little nudges.

With that all being said, when I asked the cards who wanted to come out and speak on this gorgeous sunny day the cards that wiggled and jiggled to come and guide this glorious week are The Isis Oracle. Have you ever asked who Isis is? Goddess of the Skies, Magick and Wisdom are just a few of the titles she is given. Let me take a moment to introduce you to this lovely deck – “You are a powerful Soul and you are awakening. Your thoughts, feelings and inner world is changing, and so too is your outer world. When a Soul is growing in power and strength, it can benefit from guidance to help make the path into new way of being in the world that much easier. Isis offers Her wisdom and guidance to you to assist you at this time of spiritual growth and transition. She loves you, and wants you to shine and be your radiant self, filled with power and wisdom.”

The crystals that were very clear it was their turn are Rhodonite – is a stone of compassion, an emotional balancer that clears away emotional wounds and scars from the past, and nurtures love. Amethyst – It is thought of mostly as a protective stone. As it is linked to the crown chakra, it is helpful in purifying the mind and clearing it of negative thoughts. Selenite – embodies a high vibration energy that works to help you to bring light down from the higher realms into the physical body, to create personal transformation. And as always, a Selenite Wand (which amplifies). Oh yes, the gorgeous Calendula flowers and a sprig of fennel were most insistent. (Nobody need call the flower hotline as they immediately went into a vase of water)!

Okay let’s drop in, ground and get present, yes? I have a lovely visualisation to help you anchor into heaven and earth if you so desire. If not, just breathe in slowly through your nose and then sigh it out through your mouth. Allow yourself to settle and as you do I invite you to welcome in Gaia, Nature, Magick and the whispers. Let them play in your mind space and then when you are ready pick the card or cards that invite you to come play.

LIFE RESTORED

Spiritual resurrection is gifted to you now. Whatever part of you or your life you thought to be dead is being revived and will flourish back into life. Just as the Phoenix rises from the fire, transitioning from death, into life, so too will you rise again, healed and renewed.

Any trauma, ending, struggle or apparent defeat is not the end of the story for you now. What may appear to be an ending can sometimes simply be the forces of Ancient Feminine Power flowing into new pathways, pulling energy away from old forms so that they can transition into new forms. This can take short or long periods of time. It could be over days or years, weeks, months, decades. It doesn’t matter how long something appears to have been decaying, it will spring back into life at the right time.

Just as the River Nile subtly adjusts its course over time, so too will the River of Light that flows through you, filling you with life force and Divine Energy, move with innate wisdom. You can trust what is happening for you now. Something important to you is coming back to life. It might even feel like you are coming back to life after a period of increasing emotional numbness, physical or psychological struggle or spiritual disillusionment. It might also be a lifestyle, practice, business or relationship – new or old – that is coming to life now.

You are guided by Divine Priestess of the Phoenix, Sister Isis, to turn your face to the Sun. Just as the Sacred Scarab Beetle follows the movement of the Sun, you are encouraged to focus on the light and life that is seeking you now. Do not resign yourself to the way things have been. WINGS OF ISIS

You have a special spiritual relationship with the angelic worlds. Part of your Soul purpose is to birth angelic consciousness and values such as fearlessness, compassion and service, into this human culture. Wings of Isis bring you angelic assistance and intervention, and confirmation that any impressions you may have had that you belong not only to the human kingdom but also to the angelic one, are correct.

Even in the midst of ordinary, everyday relationship, there is a sense of easy connection, mutual understanding and spiritual acknowledgment. The angels send you love and peace now and say, “We are with you, beloved one.”

KNOT OF ISIS

Each initiate has their own unique spiritual blueprint with particular skills, talents and higher destinies unfolding that use their unique attributes. Part of your spiritual blueprint is a special relationship to the energies of the Goddess. This means that no only do you have the important spiritual task of helping Her thrive in this world but you are afforded Her power, protection and abundance too. You are now deepening your connection to Her.

Part of your High Destiny this lifetimes is to heal and flourish through the Divine Feminine in Her many forms, especially in those forms that truly resonate and hold meaning for you. This healing will happen on your personal path and may well be part of the work that you offer in service to the world (which may be simply in how you live your life.

Your Soul is braiding or twining with the Divine Feminine energies in a particular form. For some that will be a specific goddess and the energetic process will often be strong and deep. The Initiate will feel as if they are integrating the part of this goddess that is not just in them, but is a part of their own consciousness. It is a deeply personal, spiritually powerful and beautiful growth experience for the Soul. This process does not make you lose your individuality.

Listen to your body-soul as it grows with Divine Feminine wisdom and trust that She will guide you, whether man or woman, deeper into your own healing which benefits us all.

Ahhhhh, holy hannah as the reading unfolded I could feel goosebumps on my arms. Okay, the messages are clear, what are you going to do with yours? Elements, Double Full Moon in Libra (Pink Moon), Easter and Earth day! Phew

Happy, happy glorious Magickal, Magnificent, Marvelous, Mellow, Manifesting, Miraculous, Mischievous Monday!. How are you delicious lovely? How is your month going so far? How has it been working with Truth, Choice and Action? Before we dive into that I will say there is so much to share this week with Elements, Double Full Moon in Libra, Easter and Earth Day. So grab a cuppa, this might be a longer post!

Okay, if you have been feeling a tad in a funk, or just “grrrrrrrrr”. Keep in mind we had the New Moon in Aries on the 5th of this month and Aries is Fire baby, fire to ignite the dreams, desires and a bunsen burner under your passions. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac so now we start a whole new solar cycle as well as the energy of fire that accompanies Aries, thus destruction and creation.

Aries is a very initiatory energy which invites us to plant seeds pertaining to one idea and nurture it with fire (passion) to bring it into our future. Think about it, there are places in the woods, in the desert scape where when a wildfire happens and there is that intense, intense heat that seems to destroy everything, afterwards there are plants and flowers that haven’t been seen for years upon years. Why? Is it magic? Did random birds drop these seeds after the fire? No, it’s because these seeds lay dormant and needed the fire to get them to germinate and to grow. So remember to give those glorious seeds you planted at New Moon some chutzpah and passion (no this isn’t another thing to add to your to-do list, it’s intention and celebration!)

So let me ask what Elements do you most relate to? If you are unsure of what I am talking about, think about Air, Fire, Water, Earth. Which element do you really resonate with? Now, if someone had asked me that 10 years ago I would have said “ALL OF THEM”! I love when a wind picks up and I open my window to let it howl through. I love sitting around a fire with friends and family, sharing stories, music and just watching the flames. I love playing with Water! (If you ever come visit in the summer you may be splatted with a water gun as you walk up the path!) To walk amongst the trees, play in the garden put my hands and feet in the dirt is stupendous for me. All of these are good, but they are short and sporadic, what if the element is the whole season? For example, the element for Spring is Air, wind, rainstorms, big gusts, lightness, communication, growth and her direction is the East (also smudge). Summer is Fire, passion, wildfires, smoky skies etc. Her direction is South. Do you see where I am going? (If you have never listened to Vivaldi’s 4 Seasons I highly recommend it. Spring is all string instruments and is light, delightful and challenging.)

I asked this question of a client last week and she responded with her Sun sign, Moon sign, Saturn etc. Nope! I don’t want the labels, I want to know where makes you feel replenished over, over and over again. For example I have huge Fire and some Air in most every label you can name. For me, Water and Earth balance me out, when it gets too hot or the wind is too strong, that doesn’t make me feel fantabulous, yet walking in the woods, being by the ocean daily is like nectar to me. So what element(s) do you resonate with? I know my 6 month old puppy is most certainly Air and Earth. A wind picks up she goes bat shit crazy and dances and plays. Put her in the woods and she frolics like a faery on acid! Try and put her in Water it is a “Hell no” (even walking by the ocean every day) and if she gets too hot, or the fire that is burning is too loud – another – ummm, fuck no!

So let me ask again “What Elements resonate for you and how do you tap into them to nourish you?”

Okay, on Easter Good Friday we have the Full Moon in Libra, aka the Pink Moon! (That title makes me giggle.) The Full Pink Moon won’t actually be turning the perfect shade of millennial pink. BUT this moon means that spring is officially here and flowers are beginning to bloom. In fact, this moon’s name comes from the Herb moss pink phlox, or “wild ground” phlox, which is unsurprisingly a beautiful pink flower that blooms this time of year. This is also the second Full Moon in Libra in a row (we had one in April). The main theme are the patterns or cycles in relationships, which merit a conclusion.

It should be noted that the term relationships, seen from the perspective of modern astrology and Libra’s optics, involves both the treatment you give yourself and the feelings you cultivate in the interaction with others (partner, partners, family, friends). So if you have energy about yourself, or any relationship (whether work, family, friends, Uncle Tom Cobbly), what a perfect time to release it! Yes? (If you don’t have an Uncle Tom Cobbly don’t fret, lol).

Easter is quickly approaching and how are you going to celebrate? Time outside, visit with family, a large dinner, an egg hunt or just relaxing and watching it all happen? In normally create an egg hunt that is at least 2 km long, but for the first time in forever, I don’t have small people here to do that with. Hmmm, I think I shall have to create one for my neighbours and friends! Okay, a couple of jokes for you for Easter!

What do you get when you pour hot water down a rabbit hole? Hot cross bunnies!

Why did the Easter bunny cross the road? Because the chicken had its Easter eggs!

Hey, nowhere in this did I say they were good jokes lolol!

Then, last but not least we have Earth Day on Easter Monday (the 22nd). So my invitation to you is to get the heck outdoors with family or solo, all good. And go play in nature. Put your feet flat on the Earth, breath in the Air, celebrate the dew or snow (Water) and if you are somewhere warm and there are red flowers (Fire), celebrate it all. We live on a glorious, amazing Earth that nurtures and supports us, take a moment to let Mother Earth know you appreciate her and her bounty. Look up at the Sky and watch the clouds go by (even just for a moment).

Okay, I have chuntered on a shed ton. (I did tell you it might be a long post, hence why things are changing). When I went to the cards and asked who wanted to support, inspire and guide this glorious week I was quite intrigued to see that the Earth Warriors Oracle were adamant. The reason I was intrigued is this deck doesn’t tend to often come out for public readings, but hey, I just go with what I am told! Lol.

Now if you haven’t met these gorgeous guides before, please let me introduce you:- There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above water. And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate. At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt. The time for the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word “struggle” from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”

The crystals that most certainly were clear about coming are:- Fire Agate – Historically, Fire Agate was used in alchemy because it was believed to contain the essence of fire. In many traditions sacred to fire deities, it encouraged timid adults and shy children to speak up and not be ignored or bullied. It is a stone of integrity, encouraging high standards of behavior in self and others, and promotes passion in love and in life. Merlinite – is known to be a stone of duality. It speaks about light and dark, and the black and white. It’s a seemingly simple stone that can attract good luck and powerful magic into your life. It’s a stone that will invite you to discover the deeper and darker parts of your being. Rhodochrosite – Wherever you happen to be on your spiritual journey, whether it’s crying on the bathroom floor at the heartbreak hotel or floating on clouds sprinkled with fairy dust, the Rhodochrosite crystal brings the most healing medicine of all – unconditional love. And of course Selenite to amplify!

The delicious flowers that chose to join in are cherry blossoms and a delicious bluebell (they most certainly went in water afterwards).

Ready? Settle yourself. See in your mind’s eye the Element that calls to you. Just breathe in the place that nourishes you and makes you feel whole and clear. Whether it’s the woods, the water, paragliding, the heat and the furnace. Just breathe it in and let your shoulders drop and nestle along your spine. Ch’aska, Star of Venus, supports an inner shift to higher consciousness. In the Native American tradition, the Sioux Mother, White Buffalo Woman, is a symbol of rebirth and spiritual promise. For those of us attempting to awaken higher values in closed hearts that are unwilling to shift from more self-serving ways, White Buffalo Woman brings a message of divine justice. This is not about revenge or a mean-spirited definition of karma and people getting what they deserve, for if one is disconnected enough from the heart to be self-serving, then one is already in a living hell. The divine justice that White Buffalo Woman heralds is the restorative and correcting power of Great Spirit that will always find a way. If Great Spirit needs to use an unlikely candidate to do that, then it will. The Divine is not limited to what we think is going to work. It is powerful in ways that are beyond human comprehension. It is able to enact divine law and elicit restoration even when we wonder if it’s all falling apart before our eyes.

This doesn’t mean that we give up our fight, but, rather, that we are renewed with optimism and enthusiasm to embrace our journey with the greatest ally working alongside us. We find comfort knowing that Great Spirit is with us, not doing for us, but neither turning away from us in our need. We feel a more peaceful trust in the ultimate success of our purpose, for, no matter how many twists and turns the path takes, behind and in front of every unexpected obstacle, Great Spirit is present.

KAITIAKI

You are Kaitaki, guardian of the Divine Feminine. Your relationship with Mother Earth, Papatuanuku, is sacred, empowering and healing. You are destined to become more spiritually intimate with her, sharing in her creative potency and wisdom. Lean into her and trust in her support, even as you serve her by courageously voicing truth. She is your great ally, friend and healer, and as you dedicate yourself to her, she dedicates herself to you.

Make peace and let go of past issues around being abandoned or not understood or of feeling unsupported, as those experiences need no longer colour your worldview. Trust that you belong here, and that your connection to the Earth Goddess will support you in all ways. You are sensitive, and rightly so. Never judge your sensitivity or feel that you are overreacting – but also allow nature to calm and soothe you, so that you can be focused on accomplishing your soul mission.

If you feel that you are on your own, when you would like some help, allow the Divine Mother to be your friend and guide, whilst trusting that at the right moment, more allies will arrive. The Earth Mother has her own sense of timing, and you are not forgotten. You are just growing according to her wisdom and grace. Have faith in yourself and in her!

Post New Moon, Wholeness and Are you an Orange or a Clam?

Happy Marvelous, Magickal, Magnificent, Miraculous, Merry, Majestic, Manifesting Monday delicious lovely!

How did your New Moon go? I will say for myself it was amazingly powerful! New Moon wishes were written, ritual was embraced and there was a ‘whoosh’ as I really worked with the energy of this fiery New Moon and walked past fear. (It was bizarrely delicious).

So this got me to thinking (of course it did!) About Wholeness and what the means, how do we embrace it or how do we shy away from it? First, let me clarify, to me Wholeness isn’t about perfection (as you have heard me say many times, perfection is an illusion). Wholeness is about embracing all pieces of oneself and welcoming them in as if they were guests coming for dinner. Giving them all a seat at the table, but not letting the fearful, toxic or shame centric ones run the conversation!

As I explored Wholeness more I came across Parker Palmer’s talk about the “Tragic Gap”. The gap between Soul and Role. Now what does that mean? Okay, as a child you came into the world with your soul right there and most certainly on the outside (seriously have you ever asked a 4 year old their honest open on something, as they will most certainly give it!) You bounced, you danced, you wore things that didn’t match and you celebrated the worm you saw on the pavement, you howled at having to go to bed when you were playing a cool game with your stuffies – you were YOU, no explanations, no obfuscations, no excuses. You just were, and there was Magick everywhere for you.

As you got older you took that soul inside, so to speak, and tucked it somewhere and took on a role, why? Because it felt safer. Now by role I don’t necessarily mean that of being a mother, father, teacher, but of a human navigating the world. So armour comes up, the smile can be plastered on and when you are asked how you feel your response is “Fine”! As this happens we tend to get encrusted by things that are not our soul, they are the societal stories, they are the stories we tell ourselves, they are the stories we have bought into, they are the fearful, limiting patterns we believe we have to adhere to to fit in.

Why? Because often we fear wholeness, it can feel really scary to be and share all the pieces of ourselves.

So to me being whole and living from soul is like being an Orange. (Stick with me here)! You know those glorious little mandarin oranges that we eat and often pop into our kids’ lunches? Imagine gently pulling the peel off and looking at all the segments that are joined together. The orange is whole right? Now imagine if that were you and each segment represented a piece of you – ALL THE PIECES! Grumpy, happy, Brave, fearful, Loving, bitter etc. Do you get it? Let me give you a visual for what I believe it looks like when we hide our soul and tuck it way in the back of the closet to keep it safe and to fit into society and be “accepted”. We become like a large clam shell, tightly closed with lots of little molluscs attached to the outside.

So I guess the question to ask ourselves is “What do I need to let go of to be whole and what do I need to keep to be whole?”

So with that to ponder and explore for yourself, let’s crack on with the reading. I was tickled to be able to do this reading outside in the sun at the glorious stone table that came to me last week! (I wanted a stone element for the North of the garden and the other day, early in the morning when I was coming back from the beach with the doggo there it was on the boulevard! A glorious stone bistro table with the astrological signs carved into it and two cute little chairs!) I most certainly did a happy dance as I loaded it into the truck.

The cards that insisted on guiding and supporting this week are the amazing Lightworker Oracle, if you have never encountered this gorgeous deck, please let me introduce you. This deck is for lightworkers and what I mean by that is old souls. They have an interest in being of service. They want to live a life of passion and purpose and have their life mean something at a spiritual level. They care about causes that stir their hearts. They are often the black sheep of their family. Does this sound like you? I know it does for me.

The crystals that wiggled and jiggled are:- Peacock Ore – a stone for happiness and joy, it’s said to turn you in the right direction. Red Jasper – a stone to help with feeling more grounded and stable. Dallasite – helps you get back on track. Also, lovely little Calendula flowers insisted on showing up as well!

Okay, settle into your body and just Breathe, just let the breath come in through your nose and sigh it out through your mouth. If not, just breathe all the way to the ends of your fingers and toes and allow the sense of Wholeness to float up into your minds eye. Then, when you’re ready pick the card or cards that whisper to you.

ASCENSION – THE RAINBOW BRIDGE

You have been growing spiritually and your consciousness is expanding. It is transforming your experience of the material world from something you must control or conquer into a living expression of the radiant Divine. As your appreciation and love for the material world becomes more unconditional, so too does the light that can flow into your aura, chakras and physical body. As you psychically expand, you may need more rest, healing and meditation than usual to integrate this increasing degree of light and the consciousness it awakens in you.

The “Rainbow Bridge” is a term for the channel of light that moves through your chakra system and along your spine, allowing Spirit to enter your body and stimulate the development of your soul. This bridge comes to life as your consciousness is raised. It draws in higher energies that nourish and awaken your body, mind and soul through your chakra system.

As your chakras become stimulated by the increasing influx of spiritual light, a clearing process begins which supports the consequent expansion of your consciousness. This clearing is like a spiritual detoxification. It clears blocks from your mind, emotional body and physical body, as well as from your soul (such as unresolved past life issues). As these blocks are broken down and processed, emotional trauma stored in your organs and nervous system can be released, and your energy field becomes more spacious. DIVINE GRACE – THE LAW OF EFFICIENCY

It is time your life became easier. It is time for you to walk the way of divine grace with trust, simplicity and acceptance. You do not have to try to make things happen. You can gracefully act without attachment and trust that all will be as it is meant to be. Surrender your struggles, now, as you allow life to serve you with love and kindness. This is the most efficient use of your energy and will lead to the best results.

The Law of Efficiency encourages us to work smarter, rather than always working harder. It is like learning to allow a wave to carry you to shore, rather than swimming the entire way with your own efforts alone – or even against the current, which would make the journey even harder. It is like planting a seed at the right time so nature will help it bloom in the spring, rather than planting it during the dead of winter., when it takes a lot of effort to keep it alive – and even then it may not survive. This is the intelligence of the Law of Efficiency and divine grace at work.

To hitch your wagon to the Universe in this way, you need to learn to listen. This means tuning in to what feels right or wrong at any given time. Sometimes, you will want to push forward, yet your intuitive knowing will guide you to rest. Sometimes, you will want to hide from a challenge – and yet know in your bones it is time to step up and shine with boldness, despite the fear you may feel.

How efficient to work with life and its cycles, rather than believing you must struggle and strain to be heard, loved, rewarded and inspired. You have that maturity within you. Trust now. Trust that all will come in time.

New Moon in Pisces, New Energy, Mercury Retrograde and Practical Magic Abounds!

Happy Magnificent, Magickal, Marvelous, Manifesting, Majestic first Monday of March! That’s right, March is here and Spring Equinox is coming (I’m so excited I love, love, love Spring Equinox). I find it so fascinating that even if I didn’t know what day or month it was my body let’s me know, I can literally feel the Spring energy welling up and my mind has been filled with creating and planting seeds to harvest in the Fall. Quite fascinating. In fact, one project that I have started is designing and creating a glorious garden and the minute I started sketching it out I found a massive Buddha head statue and 3 crazy cat statues on the side of the road! More on that next week once I get it figured out, let me just say it will be a magickal garden with Hawthorn’s, herbs and Big Intent!

Before we explore all the amazing deliciousness that is happening, I would like to say a huge thank you to all of you who have been writing and messaging me with regards to exploring the moons, equinoxes, rituals and seasons in more depth. That got my juices burbling last week and my amazing magickal guides hopped into the mix and gave me an incredible download. Thus, all being well, I think we will have created something for you by the Equinox. Stay tuned!

Okay, let’s look at what is burbling. First we have a new energetic theme for the month, Second, we have a glorious New Moon, and last but not least we have Mercury Retrograde! (No, running for the closet, it’s all good – quite magickal in fact.)

March is bringing us some glorious new energy! Shamanically the theme for this month is Next Step. If you remember January was Clean it Up, February was Activation and March is Next Step! Are you ready?

Let me share what Lena has to say:- “ In taking that “next step”, we are also dealing with anxiety, fear, confusion and trusting the unknown. We exit the month of February with lots of bits and pieces on our plate. Some are clear, some make no sense, some fit the puzzle, some don’t, some have come out of the blue creating sudden change, and some feel like road blocks with no clear solution……yet. There will be those of you that begin this month in a slight state of overwhelm and anxiety. Others will be excited about the possibilities and ready to launch into that next step. A lot was put into motion last month and some of it is just beginning to manifest.

The “next step” is on everyone’s mind. We all know that we are moving forward in some way. Some of you know exactly what that is and are chomping at the bit to get there already. But for many there are still unknowns, loose ends and gaps in clarity that may be producing anxiety, worry and fear. We know we are going somewhere, creating something new, we just do not have all the parts together yet, and the fear is that we will fail or be disappointed and unsuccessful in reaching our goals.

As we evolve, we are inevitably moving into a higher octave, a higher vibration, the upper room. But our fears are holding us back as we cling to what we know, as unsatisfying as that may be. There is no stopping the evolutionary process. It is like telling your hair or fingernails not to grow. The more you cling and hold back, the greater the possibility you will end up in depression and despair with blocked creativity and a feeling of stagnation.” You can read more about this energy at her site.

We have a glorious New Moon on Wednesday 6th and this New Moon is in Pisces which invites us to expand and illuminate or be held back by our shadow side. This is a moon from the transcendental realms. It holds the promise of a re-birth. It has a quality of merging the spiritual with the material. This is a moon to manifest the dream. However, its negative expression could mean among others, a lack of will, not clear intentions and non-clarity in emotions. It could mean harboring unrealistic expectations from ourselves, subdued will or lessened vitality. Which route would you rather pick? Personally I like the former far more! Added to the energy of Next Step and the delicious New Moon in Pisces we have Mercury Retrograde! Whoot, whoot! (Can you say, hold onto your bloomers?) This is the perfect time to really take the time to investigate some of the leftovers from the past. Now what do I mean by that? Let’s say every time you think of your sister there is a resentment about something she did or didn’t do. Therefore this resentment is taking up space in your head and heart, holding energy blocked instead of allowing it to flow. Time to let that puppy go and welcome your own energy back clear, clean and fresh. So if you experience any “tweakiness” during this retrograde take a moment to look at if it’s coming from outside of you or from inside. If it’s yours and it’s holding old energy that can be better used in the present day. Let it Go!

When I asked the cards who wanted to be your guides this week the glorious Isis Oracle were adamant to come and be front and centre. This is quite interesting as normally Isis doesn’t participate in “public readings”. Have you ever asked who Isis is? Goddess of the Skies, Magick and Wisdom are just a few of the titles she is given. Let me take a moment to introduce you to this lovely deck – “You are a powerful Soul and you are awakening. Your thoughts, feelings and inner world is changing, and so too is your outer world. When a Soul is growing in power and strength, it can benefit from guidance to help make the path into new way of being in the world that much easier. Isis offers Her wisdom and guidance to you to assist you at this time of spiritual growth and transition. She loves you, and wants you to shine and be your radiant self, filled with power and wisdom.”

The crystals that insisted on participating are Malachite, Rhodochrosite and Chrysocolla. Oh yes, and the little mollusks and shells wanted to participate as well! So let’s begin shall we?

Take a moment to breathe yourself back into your body, feel your feet on the floor and your spine lengthening to the sky. Breathe into all the little hidden corners that sometimes get forgotten. As you breathe ask the question of what is your next step. Just breathe that in and let it settle in your minds eye, and then when you are ready pick the card or cards that whisper to you.

INITIATION

When you are being spiritually initiated into the mysteries of light, love and power, there are moments of deep challenge. The key is to find the light within the challenge – the learning, growth or wisdom that can be summoned to turn the challenge into an opportunity for healing. Initiation will occur at various stages. Sometimes your entire life will feel like an initiation, at other times specific areas will be flowing easily whilst others re deeply challenging. Please know you are not needlessly suffering. If you can find the light within the struggles, tests or challenges that face you now, you will experience breakthrough healing.

As an Initiate, honour life as a gift and treat any challenge or pressure as a way for you to grow into a brighter and purer light capable of great spiritual service on this planet. That spiritual service includes growing an ability to be able to love freely and beyond limits, to love with courage and faith.

In fact initiation for you now, dear one, is an opening to new levels of power and peace, self-possession and love. There are such sweet fruits waiting for you at the top of the tree you are currently climbing. It may seem as though you are in barren land at times with little hope, nourishment or encouragement, yet your spiritual oasis is not far away! The Lady Isis and the Power of Ra together are helping you grow. Stay focused on the Lady and Her love for you and you shall pass through the desert of the Initiation unharmed and deeply transformed.

STAY TRUE AND BE IN YOUR POWER

The Flail and Crook, often held by Osiris, are symbols of Divine royalty and dominion. These symbols remind us that within we hold great dominion, spiritual authority and freedom to be the sovereign ruler of our own Self. This does not mean that we have to control life or others or even the environment around us, but it does give us complete and utter choice to become as spiritually awake, free, and self-determined as we wish to be, as well as providing us with complete choice as to what our values and actions will be this lifetime.

There is no permission required from anyone, apart from yourself, to be and live your truth! There are many voices that will test you on the journey from illusory shackles of fear, loss or abandonment that may hold you back or tempt you into giving your power away to others. You shall awaken from the testing into the realisation of spiritual independence within.

You have the power to create and own your reality and you don’t need permission from anyone else to do this. Honour your spiritual sovereignty, let the lady Isis help you find your spiritual authority and freedom of choice now. Seeking to hand over any responsibility for your own well being to another can be a tricky and ultimately self-destructive path, even though it may seem to start off as a relief of stress about some concern or other. You are guided to exercise care and discernment about any issue that feels like it is compromising your sense of self and personal power. That issue is a Soul healing trying to happen. Look within and see if you can grow through it in some way. There is much self-confidence trying to emerge from within you!

MAGICK AND RITUAL

Effect in the external world can be created through inner practice. Magick and Ritual can support your Divine Path now in the physical world and you are encouraged to enhance your power with regular practice. The results that you experience will encourage you to continue with the practice as you grow in power, grace, love, ability and wisdom, and apply your inner beauty to transform your outer world.

For us to grow empowered and potent on the Path of Ancient Feminine Power we need to honour our knowing and being and cultivate sacred practice. Sacred practice become the habit of growing our spiritual power and consciousness. Like a garden needing regular care and watering to blossom and flourish, our inner garden of the Soul, where our creativity, joy, spiritual gifts and bliss bubble away, also needs regular attention. Coming to our practice takes strength and inner will – even though it can feel amazing, we still have to wake up, set aside time and discipline ourselves to show up for our own inner growth. We will reap the benefits when we do, but we must allow ourselves to fall in love with our practice, to craft something that really speaks to us, so that we want to do it. The desire and the discipline together help us engage with our practice regularly and we can grow so fast it can be quite shocking!

You have great power and wisdom within you, but you need to provide channels for it to flow and be active and empowered in your physical life. Sacred Practice is such a channel. Without these channels, the ego is left to create on its own which is not much fun at all! The ego believes in fear and separation and no matter how much it may want to feel love, bliss, connection, joy and fulfilment, it really cannot do it without your spiritual presence in life. Ritual and Magick, as a form of sacred practice, are recommended for you as a way to bring more spiritual presence into your waking life, to heal and support the ego as you learn to create a life that feels better and brings you and others more fulfilment.
