Hippity, Hoppity, Eggs, Bunnies, Retrogrades and Spring!

Happy Magnificent, Marvelous, Magical Monday! How was your Spring Equinox? Did you take a few moments to plant some lovely seeds, whether literally or figuratively? I planted up 12 little pots of gorgeous herbs and under the soil in each pot is a slip of paper with something I want more of that makes me feel happy. The boys helped me out, so it was a nice little ritual to do together, as well as making some fresh bread to go with our Spicy Thai Coconut Soup meal! Nom, nom. Nom.

How to tell Spring is here (Canadian style), by Friday I could see buds pushing up through the soil, and most of the snow was gone, so me being me I made big plans to be out all Saturday and tend my garden. Then Saturday morning I woke up to it puking (yes I said puking) down with snow! WTF was my response. I had gorgeous plans of being outside in the sun, tidying up the garden, marking out new beds. Nope, nadda, we received 12 inches of snow that day. Grrrrr…… Ah well, a change of plans and instead I caught up on all sorts of reading, creating and planning that had been pushed to the side and had a lovely quiet night with gorgeous music wafting through the house, candles everywhere – as the boys were all out for the night. So there were gifts in the onslaught of snow. (At least that’s how I’m reframing it). Now, I have a question. When I was a kid my Dad told me that when it was raining and sunny it was a “Monkey’s Birthday”. Well, Sunday was filled with snow showers and sun – what’s that called? A friend told me that it’s when “The Devil is beating his wife.” I’m not a huge fan of that one, so if you know a different name, do please let me know.

Both Mercury and Jupiter are retrograde at the moment, now don’t panic that doesn’t mean you lock yourself inside and live off canned food. Mercury went retrograde on the 23rd and will be that way until April 15th and as we have all heard, this is the time to just be a bit more careful about travel, technology, communication etc. In other words, give yourself more time to get to the airport, backup your important documents and practice nonviolent communication. Jupiter is retrograde from March 8th to July 10th. Again, no reason to panic! AstroStyle explains, “the prefix re- means to go back — and retrogrades are a time to polish up projects already in the works, or to dig up ones you’ve set aside. Retrogrades turn our attention to the past, and can actually be cosmic “grace periods” when we can finish all the things we’ve started or strengthen our plans, ensuring that we don’t move forward on a shaky foundation.” It’s definitely something to meditate on. As the planets appear to be spinning backwards (spoiler alert: they’re not — it’s an illusion), it’s a good time to whip out your journal and focus on making the past present. And then a part of your future.” Yes?

Easter is quickly approaching and I noticed that the hot cross buns are out in all the stores. I will confess, I have a “thing” for them, no clue why, but I really do. I cut them in half, toast them and slather them with butter and then everything seems right with the world at that moment in time! I bought 18 of them on Saturday and by Monday there are 2 left and no one else in the house likes them (thank goodness). See what I mean? I laughed when I realised that Easter Sunday is on April Fools Day. Here, we play pranks on each other galore on the morning of April Fools, so I did let the fleeting thought of gathering up a bunch of Elk poo from my hikes (as they look like little chocolate eggs) and wrapping them in foil float through my mind – I did say it was fleeting! Instead I have mapped out a 2km long egg hunt with twists, turns and jokes to be answered along the way.

What do you get when you pour hot water down a rabbit hole? Hot cross bunnies!

Why did the Easter bunny cross the road? Because the chicken had its Easter eggs!

Hey, nowhere in this did I say they were good jokes lolol! So how are you going to celebrate this Easter? Time outside, visit with family, a large dinner, an egg hunt or just relaxing and watching it all happen?

Okay, enough chuntering away about chocolate, eggs and hot cross buns, let’s get on with the reading. The deck that was most adamant to come and participate was “The Oracle of the Dragonfae”, in fact they were a little surly that they’ve had to wait this long, but I did assure them it was worth the wait. Who couldn’t do with some magic, miracles and faeries in their life? One of the tulips in the near by vase literally threw herself out to come play (she did get popped back in when finished). March is here and the energy has changed! And only 15 days until Spring Equinox!

Happy magnificent first Monday of March!!! Whoot! So excited March is here, there is a sense that winter is leaving (not when I look out the window so much), but definitely in my body and spirit, and the theme and energy has changed – more about that in a moment. First, I would like to say a huge thank you as so many of you sent me glorious messages and emails about my having to say goodbye to my lovely Uma, and I really, really appreciated them and the sharing of stories. So a huge heartfelt thank you!

Have to say, this week has been a week of “firsts” without having her around and at first I was so sad and angry about it all, which I noticed manifested in an odd cough and sinus pain. Duh! Sinus stuff is repressed anger, lung stuff is grief. Thus, I was very gentle with myself (and others – so no one ended up in the freezer) and made sure I was clear about what I was willing to do and what I just couldn’t, or even didn’t want to. Which shocked a few people, but felt very much like honouring where I was at and I wasn’t going to dumb it down to make others feel “okay”.

I took time this weekend to go play in the woods and just do some healing and releasing. On Saturday I went with a friend plodging through the snow and we bushwacked! What does that mean? It means we followed deer trails, elk trails that wended and winded through the forest and the deep snow, first up, then down, then up, along and slightly down and we had no concept to where we were. We had to crawl under brush, scramble over fallen trees covered with snow, or slide down a cliff on our bums, but I laughed and laughed. By the time it was all said and done we had done about 8 km and from the knee down were soaked, but it felt cleansing and gloriously grounding!

I also spent time bundled up just sitting outside and watching the dance of the squirrels and the crows. Every Saturday I put out seeds, peanuts in the shell and gorgeous little tidbits for them and then I laugh! A huge crow flies in and grabs a peanut whilst calling in all his friends, a small squirrel dashes along the top of the fence and has a face off with the crow (who does fly off) and grabs a peanut and sits very contentedly munching away, until a different crow flies in and the squirrel dashes off. Then this dance is repeated until everything is gone. I have to admit, I really admire squirrels, they are ballsy! Have you watched them? They go out on the thinnest of branches that bow under their weight, look at where they want to go and then just leap! I watched this little chap leap a good 4 feet onto the tiniest of branches, bounce up and down for a minute and then crack on with the mission of getting to the peanuts. They would make exceptional diamond thieves!

So as I mentioned earlier the energy has shifted and the theme for this month is Creative Adaptability. “Many of us are leaving February in a state of grump resistance to how things are unfolding both personally and globally. It will be both a challenge and a relief to have the opportunity to work with something new. It is time to change and step into a more proactive role in how we experience our lives. We need to be adaptable, not in a resigned acceptance, but rather in way that has us creating new recipes using familiar ingredients. Thus, it was no surprise that the deck that jumped out after this last week and weekend was The Oracle of the Faery Forest. Interesting to see that the crystals that came to play all remind me of birds eggs for some reason. So we have Angelite – a gorgeous crystal of heightened awareness, Chrysocolla – which revitalises and calms the base, navel and solar plexus and helps to ease emotional heartache, Sodalite – brings mental calmness and rational thinking. I use Angelite everytime I do a reading, I tuck it into my bra and have it next to my skin – would love to say I popped it in my cleavage but being long and lean it would probably drop all the way through to my ankles!

So with that overshare, let’s crack on! Take a moment to just come into your body, feel your feet on the ground and lengthen your neck and tuck your chin as if you are holding a large grapefruit under it. Just feel the energy moving up and down and breathe. Allow your wise inner self to come up and when you are ready pick the card or cards that resonate for you. THE GOLDEN UNICORN

Everyone deserves to have another person in their life to whom they can turn for protection and care. OATH

An oath is a sacred bond that we make. It is more than a promise, it is the bond of a soul contract through the spoken word – and thus we must be cautious when we offer our word, and think through what it is we mean when we give it. It is impossible to ever know what another thinks we mean when we give our word, so when this card comes, there is a slight undertone of a warning – that another person may take your word and twist it to mean they have your loyalty forever, regardless of circumstance, behaviour, or treatment. An oath is made between equals, and an oath can be broken by both parties, and by circumstance.

You may now be considering a partnership or a contractual agreement. It is almost impossible to know how to ensure that this is a good thing, because the truth is, within every contract there is much that cannot be comprehended, even when it is read. If this is the case, ask the other party in the contract to explain what is meant by clauses you do not understand – and ask them to offer examples, so you can best understand the paper oath you are taking.

In some cases, it may be a handshake you are sealing an agreement with. Whatever its form, consider the weight that comes with the feeling of making this contract. Consider the future and the karmic load the agreement brings to you, along with its immediate benefits. It is the truth that when considering our word, we must understand as fully as we can what we have agreed to. Be sure to do this now.

CUNNINGWOMAN

Now is not the time for talk or action. It is a time to be independent, watchful, and intelligent.

Phew February is here and there’s lots to celebrate! – Weekly Reading February 5th.

Happy glorious magnificent Monday!! How was the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse for you? I have heard from quite a few of you that you experienced big releases, which is awesome. I took some time that day for ritual and then spell casting in the evening (yes I did say spell casting). It was a glorious spell for Joy activation that is best performed under the Full Moon, so I most certainly did it and it felt marvelous (and my home smelled divine). I also took all my crystals outside to get a divine moon bath and the next day when I went to retrieve them all they were buried under 5 inches of snow! Thus, they gave me a very frosty reception (get it) – snort, chortle, chortle.

I am so glad that February is here! I find February one of those delicious months of dichotomy. It’s a month where we often experience the coldest night of the year, but it is also a month with Imbolc, Chinese New Year and Valentines. Thus, many glorious reasons to celebrate (if you had to have a reason that is). I love Imbolc as it’s a celebration that honours the increasing light and all things to do with home and hearth. So sometime during the month I take time to do a ritual about the energetic cleansing of the spirit of home and hearth and it really seems to align the energy of my home with those glorious energies of nurture, expansion and growth. February also feels like a month of hope as just around the corner is Spring Equinox. So when I gaze out on mounds and mounds of snow and grey low clouds, instead of wanting to crawl back into bed there is a knowing that soon there will be snowdrops pushing up at the base of the trees and everything starting to come into leaf. This is when I dig out all my gardening magasines and dream of what I’m going to plant and where, what is the feel that I want my sacred space to have and all those lovely things. If you remember the theme for January was Evaluation and Action. The theme for this month is UNFOLDING (see doesn’t that even make you think of flowers and plants?) Now what is meant by UNFOLDING – This month we examine our relationship with time, with impatience, with the masculine willful part of ourselves that always wants to push things through and make things happen, our addiction to stress and drama, and our fear of not being and doing enough. Whew!

So let’s crack on shall we? The deck that literally hurled itself at me is The Oracle of the Faery Forest, which is so gosh darn appropriate as it’s dedication is “May the wild green world and the wondrous beings of this Faery Forest heal us, inspire us and urge us all to become more who we truly are meant to be…..” Which in turn ties in with the theme UNFOLDING. The crystals that came to play are Aquamarine, Picture Jasper and Howlite, with of course Selenite as a purifier and amplifier.

Thus, take a moment and get really centred in yourself. Breathe out a long deep breath through your mouth and then breathe in through your nose. Wiggle your fingers and toes and roll your shoulders up back and down. There is a lovely guided visualisation where you become your own rainbow if you want to get deeper into being present and centred. Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

THE ANCIENT

The Ancient is so old she is almost beyond time. She is able to speak the truth without compromise – as are you. She is so old, has experienced so much, learned and taught so many lessons, that she has become powerful and influential, just as you are becoming, too. She knows that while others are now going to come to you for advice and guidance, she sees your humanity – your faults and your flaws and your feelings of unworthiness. She wishes to reassure you.

Others will come to you, seeking knowledge, awaiting a blessing, an initiation, and oblivious to the consequences of the path they wish to walk. Wisdom, true wisdom, understands complexity, and you have developed this quality. The Ancient is honourable and human, and yet more than human, and she is courageous and has made sacrifices – as have you. She sees straight through comforting illusions – as do you.

People finally get found out, manipulators can be seen through, true costs of circumstances are revealed, and any lies about you will be seen. Throughout these revelations and insights will be a guiding hand – and this is the Faery Godmother. QUEEN OF THE DARKWOOD ELVES

Sometimes there is a stirring, a shimmering movement, subtle but unmistakable, in the web called wyrd that connects us all. This is one such time. The Queen of the Darkwood Elves has come forth to speak with you and ask you to be aware that something is approaching. When she appears, there is a kind of foreboding and unsettled energy, akin to when a storm is gathering its power. There is a very potent force readying itself in your life, and while its impact is yet to be truly felt and experienced, it is best to ready yourself now.

So, when this card comes, make good your defences. Tend to injuries and wounds, be they psychic, mental, or physical. Take care of unfinished business, and bring in whatever you can – gather up resources and be ready for when the moment strikes and descends upon you. There is no cause to be scared, frightened, or anxious – this card indicates that you have time to prepare, grow stronger, and meet whatever it is that is coming, face on. What’s Your Legacy Going to BE? – Weekly Reading January 22nd

Hello gorgeous one, how has your week been? Did you carve out a little time last Tuesday to make your New Moon wishes? I hope so. We have been fluctuating between huge snowfalls to the milder temperatures and rain, to then huge snowfalls – sigh…. So things are either squishy and sloppy or icy as heck – whoo, hoo (makes every day quite unique). Also makes it tricky to dress for the day – do I need an umbrella and rain boots or a Parka and snow boots – or even possibly spiky things that go on my boots?

On the weekend I went to a memorial service for a friend and peer, he had passed at 48 years old after battling brain cancer for the last 6 months. He left behind brothers, parents, a lovely wife and 3 amazing kids. He was a kind, generous, man filled with integrity and a passion for soccer and his family – so why, why him? There is no answer to that question or one that soothes the frustration, grief and sadness. However, as I listened to all the stories that were shared at the memorial service the word Legacy kept coming up.

The stories were poignant, funny, loving and wonderful to hear but the common thread was this man lived with such purpose, connection and passion in a way that was inclusive and caring. Legacy. Helped grow and expand our soccer association so that kids of all ages and adults could play year round. Legacy. He was an amazing father to his kids. Legacy. A caring and thoughtful son and husband. Legacy. Even in his last days he was still interested in how others were and what was happening in their lives. Legacy.

So after the service I came home and sat and reflected for a while on the word Legacy. What is the legacy that I would like to leave behind? For me it isn’t about “stuff” so much as “Did I live, did I love, did I matter, did I help and did I make a difference”. So often we postpone what we want to do to another day because we don’t feel ready, or we don’t share our gifts because of fear, or we don’t grab that opportunity because of feelings of worth. If you think about that – how daft is that? Every morning that you open your eyes and can put your feet on the earth can be an amazing day, it’s all a choice, an intentional choice. It goes all the way from the smallest act to the largest display. Think of it like the pebble being dropped into a pond and the ripples that come out from it. For example, you stop and talk to the homeless chap who is bundled up in blankets in a doorway and you see him as a person and he shares with you how touched he was that you “saw” him as he had been feeling so invisible he was contemplating suicide. Your friend is sick in bed and you pop over with some nice home made soup and check in on them. You see an empty parking meter and the by-law guy approaching so you drop a quarter in it. You’re in an abusive marriage and your children continually witness you capitulating and finally you say enough is enough, pack up your stuff and take them somewhere safe, calm and kind and they get to witness you standing up for yourself and for them. I know these all may sound odd to you – but all things matter. So let me ask – how do you want to live your life and what is the Legacy you would like to leave behind? Whatever it is, start it now, do it now, be it now!

Okay, I shall get down off my soapbox now. The cards that flew out and at me this week are The Sacred Rebels Oracle which I thought highly appropriate as this oracle is dedicated to those who aren’t afraid to rattle cages, ruffle feathers and rock boats, from a place of loving service to the spiritual evolution of humanity. The crystals that wiggled and jiggled and demanded to be included are Smoky Quartz (grounding, cleansing and healing), Amethyst (protection, abundance, wisdom and healing) and Citrine (personal power, creativity and manifestation).

SHOCK OF THE NEW

What wild unconventional voice is calling to you? Can you hear it? It is so different so unusual, it might be hard to decipher – like hearing an unfamiliar language for the first time. It might be hard to discern with great clarity now but there is an affinity between you and this strangely beautiful newness seeking to manifest.

There is a stirring at the deepest level within you. Something new will break through and the process of this birth may be a shock to you. The shock will transform into great joy and a sense of tremendous liberation, but you must bear the strangeness first. That strangeness might be something that rattles your beliefs about yourself and your world, daring you to become more of yourself, more open to where life is leading you and more willing to be the unique sacred art being crafted by the hand of the universal creator.

Nature never shies away from strange beauty. She allows for endless diversity and her sacred works are often peculiar and stunning. You live within her field of creative grace, as a specially created work that also creates! You are being asked to surrender any fear you may have of being seen as exotic, unusual, eccentric or bizarre. You are being asked to make peace with strange beauty and to let it happen through you in creative flow. There are rumblings and stirrings of the creative life force life happening now – deep in the undercurrents of your being. So be on the lookout for the big shift of new birth, the shock of the new, the unconventional, the strangely beautiful and the disturbing liberation of that which is foreign stepping into your life.

This is life creating the stage upon which you will experience greater fulfillment. Don’t reject it, no matter how small or insignificant, or how powerful and life-changing it may seem to be. You are being asked to dispense with your reliance on the past and what have been your tools to navigate life. You have outgrown your old methods. You will have to fly by the seat of your pants, so to speak, as you experiment with new ways to be. Life will show you the way.

DEFEND TO THE END THE WORTHWHILE

Beneath the lies and illusions, pretty as they seem, you know what is worthwhile. All that is genuinely and truly essential for the heart to throb with life is worthwhile. Anything that dulls it or suffocates its vibrant aliveness, must be questioned, challenged, and more than likely cast aside, for the heart is our key to living an authentic life. What is there once that is compromised? Without its foundation of truth, we are to be forever lost in confusion, doubt and despair!

You are a sacred warrior – a defender of the heart. You have cried genuine tears of your own grief and also the grief of the world. You have felt the need to protect the presence of love, for whilst it is exceptionally powerful, it can too easily be smothered under lies and fear. The sacred warrior is vigilant that the presence of love is not chipped away by fear, criticism, doubt or untruths. Even if others find the unflinching honesty of your feelings difficult to handle, even if those feelings are expressed with gentleness and compassion, the sacred warrior honours the task of being more faithful to love, than to anything else.

The darkness will be intelligent and sneaky. It will tell you that it doesn’t matter, that this one time you can forget what you promised, that you are just one person and that you can’t make difference. That darkness will lure you into sleepy ambivalence and dull your light, if you allow it to. The sacred warrior within will fight with love and honour to be true to what has meaning, and never, ever allow it to be cast aside – even if it seems easier in the moment. You’re being asked to stay strong and stand your ground. What is happening, or soon will be happening is worthwhile. So hold tight. Ask for help to heal.

FOCUS ON THE LIGHT

A tremendous force of light is gathering around you. It is attracted to the purity of your intention to create from your heart. As your intention grows, so does the light. As the light grows, so does your intention. Magic wants to happen for you now! The synchronicity, perfect timing, opportunities and information that are needed will seem to be drawn right to your door. You may start to feel as if you cannot walk outside without stumbling into something helpful, wonderful and inspiring.

You might be startled as this interplay of light with your heart evokes many new successes and attracts an abundance of opportunities your way. You may need to adjust as the field of light grows stronger and its effect becomes more palpable. It may bring rather dramatic improvements into your world. You may be uncomfortable or feel out of your depth with these changes. This would be understandable, but it would be a shame for you to hold on to that resistance for anything more than a brief moment. Any resistance or fear will inhibit the continuing free flow of the light so that is can manifest its beauty through you, in the physical world, where it is needed.

It is best to stay focused on your heart and intentions. Just allow all else to happen of its own accord, without making it mean anything too personal. Simply let it be the workings of the great light of love, flowing through a pure heart and touching the world. Even if the light that is drawn to you and flows through you has some dazzling effects, you don’t have to get caught up in it.

Don’t be distracted by other paths around you at this time as you are too close to succeeding on the one you are on now! Diluting your energies, in the pursuit of too much will slow down your success and the world needs your light to shine sooner rather than later! In time you may diversify and explore other ways to express yourself but for now, build what you are working on and know that success is coming swiftly.

Yummers! Love how the cards in essence told a story and each card can stand alone. First it was about embracing and welcoming in the new, the “odd to you, but great for you” – then it was about the feeling state and defending it, last but not least if you are willing to do the others then you need to focus on the light and trust and be willing. It’s New Moon in Capricorn tomorrow! (I love New Moons) – Weekly Reading January 15th.

Happy Marvelous, Magical, Magnificent Monday! How are you? How has your week been? Have you decided what your Word of The Year is going to be. It has snowed, and snowed here for the last week, so my way of dealing with winter is to dose up on D3 and get outside and play – which ties in with my WOTY – Delight. So I had a glorious weekend of play, lots of skiing between the trees and alongside a river (which was deliciously magickal), sledding with the kids and hounds. Albeit I found out that my Akbash feels he needs to try and rescue me when I am whipping down a steep slope on my flying saucer by trying to grab onto me, or throw himself in front of me. It made for some interesting adventures!!

Yesterday I felt that a good cleaning of my home and an energetic cleanse had to happen. So I cranked up the music and went to work. I did the windows, had a little dance break, bopped around as I did all the laundry, then pretended to be a fairy as I dusted, vacuumed and searched out lurking dust bunnies that were trying to hide in the corners. I decided to lovingly polish all the wood furniture. As I was gently rubbing oil into my dining room table that I inherited from my parents, and it’s about 65 years old, I had a massive flashback to when I was little. Every Sunday one of my chores was to polish the same table and I loved making it gleam and I would scramble around underneath it to make sure all the legs were polished and shiny. So funny to see how that ritual has stayed with me as an adult (although I don’t tend to hide under the table anymore). When everything was all cleaned, sorted and glowing I then smudged the whole house setting new intentions for the energy of our home, trust me it makes a huge difference and with New Moon in Capricorn happening on Tuesday, it seemed like the most natural thing to do as New Moon is a glorious time to plant the seeds of something and to set intention.

At the time of this New Moon, there will be a lineup of the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, and Pluto all in the sign of Capricorn. This rare alignment is known as a stellium. Having a line up of so many planets indicates that this New Moon is going to bring a lot of earthy Capricorn energy for all of us to play with.

This is the perfect time to take action in your life and begin making small, practical changes in order to bring more joy, abundance, love, success, and whatever other ways of being you would like to have more of in your life. While this is a great time to take action and express yourself outwards, there is also this energy pulling us to go deeper within ourselves and to really connect to that heart center.

The good thing about this Capricorn New Moon is that it has a lot of energy, which means that you can use this energy to serve you in any way that you need. Tune in to yourself and ask- “What is something I could use support with? What would I like this New Moon to bring into my life?”

Then set your intentions, plant your seeds for the future and what you want to grow and flourish in your garden and then give your wishes up to the night sky.

Thus, with all that being said let’s get on with this weeks reading. Now normally when I do these readings one deck bounces around calling loudly to be used. This week there were 3 decks and none of them were willing to back down, so for the first time this reading is done with a card from each deck. Also interesting to see was who else vied to come play and actually pushed the crystals out. Wood, A Sand Dollar and a glorious rock from a beach I found years ago. So think about it – we have 3 decks, wood, water and earth. Most interesting! (Love it when the Divine takes over).

So take a moment. Just stop and roll your shoulders up back and down and feel your shoulder blades fall down either side of your spine like glorious wings. As you breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth envision a golden light coming out of the bottom of your feet and down, down, down into the earth into the warm, brilliant lava centre and as you take another breath feel the energy of earth move up that golden cord – up, up, up through your body and out through the top of your head as a silver light reaching up and connecting you to the Divine. Keep breathing in this way and allow the light from the Divine to come down, through you and into the earth, then up from the earth, through you and into the Divine. Ahhhhh, you are a glorious conduit for connection. When you are ready, gently pull the energy back into your body, give your hands and feet a little shake and pick the card or cards that are calling to you.

FAIRY OF THE DIVINE HAND

I am here to reveal to you what will tempt you. It is delightful, this thing you are being offered. And surely a little won’t hurt? I am Fairy of the Divine Hand, and I appear to you when you are blinded to what you must see. You know how it is….you start having a piece of candy, some soda, maybe a little junk food, then before long, you have more. It may be another habit, such as judging yourself or others way too harshly, thinking negatively, or giving up too early on exercise and good healthy practices, that you are indulging in. Gossip too, falls under my domain. While it can be wickedly delicious, it always leaves such a sour aftertaste.

Come and truly examine what is being offered to you. Underneath this apparently harmless fun, spending, partying, distraction, or giving up too early on exercise and good healthy practices, and temptation lie disorientation and fear, and things may appear to be quite different than how they truly are. But here……look and look closely. Do you begin to see what will take place if you continue down this path? Do you sugarcoat the possibilities of where this may end? Do not push down the feelings and warnings you have; instead come a little closer, and look.

Do you begin to understand that what seems such a small thing may indeed change lives? Take a moment. Look. Think. Connect with your deeper wisdom. Decide whether you will join in with what is tempting you, or whether you will watch a while longer and make the wise decision instead.

You know when this temptation comes that you do not need to flee, you do not need to indulge, you do not need to curse and berate this lovely, very earnest fairly with her clear message to stop, and truly look at what is taking place. You know you simply need to pause. Be quiet. Clear. And know now that one of your fiercest addictions is seeking you out, and you are wavering, caught in its delirium. This is not an opportunity to escape. This is your chance to break free!

RED COUNTESS

Deep within, you know what is true and what to do (or not do). Yet there is so much noise and distraction in the world, and even at times in our own minds, that listening for our inner wisdom can seem like trying to hear gentle birdsong in the midst of a rock concert. Even so, you are hearing an inner truth, and deep down, you know it. Can you trust that it is safe to not only hear your inner voice but act on it too?

There is something that you know. You’ve felt, sensed, heard or realised this truth more than once. Even if others see or feel differently, you just know what you know, even if you don’t quite know how you know it!

Give your truths value. Hold your feelings and insights in high enough esteem to pay attention to them, to give yourself time to process what you think, feel and sense. Know that they’re worth acting on, even if that action just means to trust more and stop worrying. If you cannot figure out what your inner truths are, or you feel confused by conflicting thoughts and feelings, torn between head and heart, then you are in a state of information overload. You need to switch off, discharge some excess mental and emotional energy and take a break. Give yourself some time out from the crazy noise and constant distractions of the world so you can get in touch with what is true for you.

THE PENDRAGON

I am He who is the hunter, the sage, the father, the provider, the protector. I am he who watches over his people and does his best for his family. I am He: your brother, your father, your husband, your son. I am sheer powerful masculine energy and I am the lover of the Goddess of the Dragonfae. Together we create wholeness, apart we wander alone and are more easily wounded, even destroyed. I have a role: to care for others, to use my physical strength and to use my attributes to fight for those I love. And I will do that. I am King and Emperor and God…and I care for you. Do not fear me: I would not hesitate to sweep you into my arms and hold you.

I love you, but know that my role here takes me away many times from all the love and playfulness that still lives inside of me. Trust in my actions. See the truth and choose a partner who is in action a strong and caring manly man. Think of some of your positive experiences with men this lifetime: from moments with your father, to times when a man has acted honourably. Now, from those examples, begin to allow more of that version of masculine energy into your life.

Gradually, let’s change your ingrained and sometimes negative beliefs about men…and when Pendragon walks in, he demands that you treat the men he sends your way with respect and honour….just as he will treat you in return. You will notice that ignoble men no longer have a place in your life and that you are no longer attracting them. Indeed, Pendragon wonders why you would waste your time with people who do not behave in a noble fashion, and he does not want you to be involved with men who behave deceitfully, who are fearful of their own power, or who take advantage of members of their own family or their partners.

Holy Hannah, the cards had a lot to say this week about where we can get lost in our addictions, that we need to get quiet and allow our inner voice to speak to us and to celebrate and welcome in healthy masculine. How did that feel for you? Even more interesting to see that the three decks worked together and that the elements that came to play totally tied into the message of the cards! Sand Dollar representing water is Spirit and that’s what the card asked you to do. Love, love, love it.
