September is here and the energy has changed. Fall Equinox is coming!

Happy Melodious, Musical, Magickal, Miraculous, Magnetic, Majestic, Manifesting Monday!

September is here, you can smell the difference in the air here. The mornings are cooler and the geese have started flying and the acorns are dropping like mini grenades as I walk under the Garry Oaks!

I love September (I know for some that sounds weird), but I love the impending Fall, it’s a time of harvest, a gathering together.

The mornings are crisper, the days are still warm, but there is that sense of change.

Kids are going back to school, starting a new class and making new friends. University starts again and all sorts of courses such as drumming, music, spanish and a myriad of others are offered up.

The lazy, hazy days of summer are winding down and there is a shift in the energy that invites us to try something new (even if you aren’t school age) and to be willing to release the old that may be a tad too tight (like a kids outgrown running shoes).

There is also a sense of melancholy for some people when Fall starts to whisper with her crisp breathe. The leaves are going to change and then drop from the tree and the days are most certainly getting shorter – and for some this can feel uncomfortable and lonely. Which I can totally appreciate.

Fall Equinox is almost here (and I love this celebration). It is known as Mabon and is the second harvest, beginning of August we celebrated the first harvest festival which was Lammas.

This festival is a time to look at the seeds that you sowed in the Spring, on every level, and reflect on how they have manifested. Most crops are in and the fields are beginning to look brown and are slowly going to sleep for the winter (unless they are filled with gorgeous orange pumpkins).

This is a time to celebrate the abundance and the harvest, as well as to make plans for the winter and to create community. But we will explore that more over the next couple of weeks.

The energy of September (according to the ever amazing Lena), has changed and it is RATTLING THE CAGE! (Gulp!)

As Lena shares:- “

This month we have 2 eclipses and the Equinox making for an intense time of rattling the structures of our foundations of stability, old patterns and anything we may be fiercely attached to. We have heard the phrase, “shaken to awaken” from others and that is exactly the energy of this eclipse time.

The more stubborn the structure, the more intense the rattling and shake up may be.

Some of you may experience traumatic events that open your instinctive center of survival, giving you the opportunity to clear old patterns and dump karmic debris.

And for some of you the rattling may be simply an experience of discomfort in a situation where you receive more clarity about what you really want, leading to better choices in your life. Whatever the case may be, the most important thing is to manage the aftermath proactively so you can use the lessons and guidance of the events to support your own change.

We are unpacking the trigger of the last New Moon in Virgo that prompted a new beginning. While our energy field got the message, the old habits of the personality and the physical body are slow to catch up and need some prompting and reminding of what we don’t want. So stay out of judgment, blame and martyrdom if you find yourself in one of these reminder situations, and know you have created it for yourself to fast track your personal growth and transformation.”

We are in the midst of the Eclipse portal and the invitation to really step into who you are, what you desire, is huge!

Okay, I have chuntered a ton (not a surprise), so let’s crack on with the reading.

When I went to the cards and asked who would like to guide this week, the glorious Faery Forest Oracle were adamant, which made me smile a lot.

“May the wild green world and the wondrous beings of this Faery Forest heal us, inspire us and urge us all to become more who we truly are meant to be.”

Re-read that last line about inspiring and urging us……

Okay, take a moment and come back to your body. Just breathe yourself back. Allow in your mind’s eye the smell of the Fall air to whisper around you, the sense of the new and possible. The pieces or desires you have put on the back burner. Breathe it in, welcome it in. Sit with it.

And then when you are ready, pick a card or cards.

SHE WHO LAUGHS

There is within your life now a great heaviness, an earnestness, and a sense of great gravity to nearly every situation unfolding. Yes, this is of great importance, and yes, there are consequences to consider. But it is time for you to receive the healing power of laughter, the power that lifts the darkness and releases energy that is stagnant, cold, and heavy from our energy field, indeed from our limbs and cells and hearts.

For you, this laughter is as necessary as surgery at this moment, as it will shake loose the cords strapping you tightly to burdens you no longer need to carry.

Its time is passing. It will melt away with tears of laughter that fall and cleanse and free you from the past….For now, the sun breaks through, and your eyes shine once again with mirth and joy.

Welcome back to the world of delight, friend. It’s time.

THE ANCIENT

The Ancient is so old she is almost beyond time. She is able to speak the truth without compromise – as are you. She is so old, has experienced so much, learned and taught so many lessons, that she has become powerful and influential, just as you are becoming, too. So too are you growing older, coming into wisdom. She knows that while others are now going to come to you for advice and guidance, she sees your humanity – your faults and your flaws and your feelings of unworthiness. She wishes to reassure you.

Others will come to you, seeking knowledge, awaiting a blessing, an initiation, and oblivious to the consequences of the path they wish to walk. Wisdom, true wisdom, understands complexity, and you have developed this quality. It’s Spring – be the Flower! Energy Shift to Transition and a lovely Aries New Moon!

It’s Monday, it’s Monday – fa, la, la (Trust me, I’m singing out loud!) Remember we are re-framing Monday and making it magickal, mystical, marvelous, meditative and absolutely magnificent!

Welcome to April and it’s time to gracefully move with the energy of TRANSITION. I love April, as the leaves are busting out, flowers are blooming, lambs are being born, the energy is lifting upwards and there is a sense of tender growth. It’s also a delightful month for testing out my wardrobe planning as one minute it is warm sun, the next – torrential rain and then who the heck knows what will come…….

It ties into that old saying that dates back from the 1600’s – “April showers bring May flowers.” Which I am totally happy with, as I own rain gear!

So here we are in April and there is an Energy Shift to one of TRANSITION. Now what does this mean or look like for you? As Lena shares most eloquently :-

We really wanted to call this month a grumpy reset but transition is a better description as we are not yet at the reset even though the month may definitely show up as grumpy, irritating, and uncomfortable at times. Very few of us are comfortable with transition as it indicates leaving behind what is known to us, even if that known place is no longer what we want, and moving into an unknown landscape, even though that landscape holds all of our current intentions and desires.

Transitions tend to cause stress and stress tends to cause the worst of our personalities to come out. Personal obstacles will be triggered as well as tendencies to judgment, blame, irritation, restlessness, and all manner of negative reactions. It is wise to watch your words and keep them from being harsh towards others. It is also wise this month to stay present and to take responsibility for your own reactions to situations and triggers so you can keep from projecting and taking your discomfort out on others.

More than any other time, it is best to make kindness a daily practice and focus.

On the positive side, this is an incredibly dynamic month where great strides can be made in all areas of life including your own abundance, movement of work and projects, rebuilding or beginning new relationships, greatly improving your health, having more discipline for spiritual and physical practices, and becoming really clear about your values and what is important. As uncomfortable as you may often feel this month, treat the journey as a pilgrimage towards more power in your life and stay as neutral as possible around challenges and obstacles that may come your way.

Behind every challenge is an opportunity and the opportunities this month will be big and unexpected. You may miss them if you are too wound up and focused on being irritated and judgmental. For there to be movement, change, and opportunity, there has to be an unsettling of the old structures and attachments. This always creates a bit of chaos before a sense of clarity reorganizes the movement in the right direction. The right direction will be supported more by how you want to feel rather by what your mind thinks you ought to be doing. The more you hang on to the old, the more irritating your time will be.

This is also an important month for completions and tying up loose ends especially around relationships and any shame, regrets, disappointment or wounding from the past. It is truly a time to finally let go and not waste this opportunity for deep releasing and healing. What are you still attached to? What is still attached to you?

So sit with Transitions for a moment. When a baby comes into your life – that’s a massive transition. When your kids leave home and you have to face yourself and your partner – another transition. They are like delicious thresholds that need to be unpacked, savoured and restructured. Not blown through (which we normally do).

On top of this we have a New Moon in Aries. Now, if you remember Aries is the first of the Western Zodiac calendar and this New Moon represents the start of a new lunar cycle.

The Aries New Moon falls on April 11th or 12th depending on your timezone, and carries powerful energy for manifestation, intention settings, and new beginnings.

This energy combined sends powerful waves of freshness into our lives, beckoning us to make changes, plant seeds, and to embrace a new chapter.

As Forever shares:- At the peak of the New Moon, it is completely invisible, and the night sky looks like a blank slate full of stars. That blank slate is what each of us is being granted on this April New Moon. It is blank for we get to fill it with our desires. We get to choose what we wish to draw, paint, or write across our canvas.

Under this New Moon, our powers of manifestation are heightened and our ability to draw in and attract what we desire is enhanced threefold.

The choices, words, and emotions we put out into the world are always coloring our reality, but at the time of this New Moon their influence is accelerated.

Be mindful of your thoughts, words, and the choices you are making at this time. Be sure they are aligned with that which you wish to attract. Be sure that you are focusing on what you want, rather than what you don’t want.

Watch your language and how you are choosing to speak to yourself and others. Your words are powerful, so be sure you are speaking with loving-kindness.

So do you note with the energy shift of this month and the New Moon in Aries – being kind to yourself, watching your words and noting if you are falling into a story from the past that doesn’t fit anymore (kind of like a pair of jeans that so don’t hold and shape you).

Okay enough chuntering on.

I was tickled as yesterday I went exploring the woods, hung out with the trees and just noticed all the spring flowers that were pushing up, including the glorious Fawn Lilies (so delicate).

Okay dear heart take a delicious breathe in and let yourself settle into the moment. Let your body relax and your breathing gently slow and then when you are ready invite the energy of Transitions into your mind’s eye. As it swirls, let it guide you to pick the card or cards that tug at you.

THE ELF QUEEN

You have responsibilities that have accumulated to the point that you no longer feel free. You have dimmed your own bright light, and the world longs for you to shine once again. One by one, I ask you to take these burdens – anything that feels heavy, whose energy does not come from love but from fear, any demands and expectations that no longer meet your needs – and release them with love. There is no rejection in this gesture: it is simply time to re-establish your own personal boundaries. You may even be carrying burdens that rightly belong to other people – please, release these now!

Without this clearing, you may well feel you are carrying too much on your own shoulders, and are unable to see the path ahead of you. As you release, the beginnings of the sweet and tender freedoms that are your birthright will make themselves known to you. You are now free to love and care for others more effectively, as you will be acting out of love, not forcing yourself. If you clearly ask for support, other people will love and support you in all that you do.

THE MABON

The Mabon is the child of the darkest moment, born when bright hope beckons you into a positive future, born out of what has seemed to be the most hopeless space you have ever been within. Now is the time to think magickally. What you think, what you are, manifests about you at all times. Now, with this new magickal mindset, you begin to transform your life into one of delight and hopefulness and to uplift your companions with your vibrant, positive energy. When we allow ourselves to shine, we become who we were always meant to be – and by example we encourage others to become who they truly are.

You are a powerful role model for others. Keep up the wonderful work – you still have many experiences ahead of you on your journey, but this energy is now your companion and your divine inspiration.

Make a wish when you see the stars – you may even have a homeland among them. This portends bright optimism and being filled with the joy that everyone feels when you are celebrating magickal living.

It’s effortless and joyful to do this divine work. You are being blessed with a rebirth of positive light and energy after a time of lack. And, oh, how good the weight lifting off from your old self feels.

THE GREEN MAN

Not so long ago, all was quiet, dark, and cold…..but something has changed, and it will manifest into your world in significant ways – through you, and all around you. This is a time of renewal, a time of new beginnings and connections for you. Your energy will be extending itself easily, and you will fall in love with the new world you are creating. This is a time for you to actively pursue what it is you wish to create in your life and to acknowledge the presence of the powerful new energies all about you.

Each day will bring these changes, and it is as if life force itself is surging through you, and every cell radiates this bright, strong, fierce new energy.

To be effective, this energy must be directed – not tamed, but given places to flow into – and thus you must choose and shape the energies you are experiencing. Nature and its energies shall pour through you and it is necessary for you to quickly begin to shape these forces in meaningful ways.

This is also a time when you no longer see sharp distinctions between what is outside of yourself and what is within – you feel linked, connected, a part of a great natural magickal whole, and this empowers you into brave, open-hearted action.

Mercury Retrograde. Imbolc is Here! Post Leo Full Moon.

Happy Magnificent, Magickal, Meditative, Mind-Blowing, Meritorious, Musical, Motivational, Mesmerising, Manifesting Monday! (How was that for alliteration?)

How are you delicious lovely? How was the amazing full moon in Leo for you? After a lovely hiatus filled with creating, writing and just cocooning, it’s good to be back.

So grab a cuppa and let’s natter, yes?

In case you weren’t aware Mercury went retrograde yesterday and will be this way until February 21st. Whoohoo! Now don’t run to the closet, let’s just gently unpack this puppy (so to speak).

Mercury will retrograde in the sign of Aquarius, which is a new energy for us. For the last few years, Mercury has mainly gone retro in water signs. However, throughout 2021 the theme is air signs. Which is interesting as Mercury is ruled by the element of air and earth, so having it retrograde in one of its ruling elements may intensify the experience. So let me share what Tanaaz has to share.

We may feel mentally foggy, confused, or lack the clarity that is needed to make decisions.

Whenever Mercury enters retrograde, especially in an air sign, we have to work a little harder to tame our monkey-mind, and be sure we are not spiraling into a loop of overthinking, or getting trapped in limiting beliefs.

Our task during this Mercury Retrograde season, and the ones to come, will be to acknowledge any mental chatter, observe what needs to be looked at, and learn how to release and let go of the rest.

A prime example was on Saturday over in Creatrix Circle we were having an incredible Imbolc Workshop, yet – for the half hour prior, everything was going to hell in a hand basket. Technology, mind sets, you name it. But come go time – all was good.

So let’s talk about Imbolc!

Okay Imbolc is today!!! Now you may be scratching your head and thinking to yourself – what the heck did she say? Imbolc (yes it does sound like it’s looks). Imbolc is a Celtic fire festival celebrating the emerging life in the world around us as well as the Goddess Brigid who represents the fire of creativity, the protective hearth fire and her firewheel all of which cleanse and purify. Imbolc is a celebration, because for those of us in the mid winter it promises us emergence, growth, renewal and hope and massive cleansing and purification. Imbolc is the halfway point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox and occurs on February 1st/2nd.

Okay Jenn, what’s that got to do with me?

Well whether you realise it or not your body is connected to the seasons, to the energy underneath you, around you, above you and in you. Imbolc is one of the seasonal changes on the Wheel of the Year. However, the Wheel of the Year is more than just the seasonal changes from spring to summer to fall to winter. It also encompasses the 8 holidays, or sabbats. Each of these holidays has its own energy and its own place in the cycle that influences.

Imbolc brings us the burgeoning Spring energy that feels like a whisper or a possible promise, it’s the gestation time. Imbolc literally means – in the belly. The time to get clear on what you want to create or bring into your life. If you want to go deeper and explore some rituals and more information on Imbolc, there are some lovely ones here!

Can you feel the fertility that is approaching?

It’s pulsing everywhere, flowers are starting to push up, leaves are gently welling up into buds, seeds will need to be planted. Thus, imagine yourself like a glorious garden – what do you need to push the dross aside and stretch? To really bloom, expand and grow?

You ready? I invite you to just BE and BREATHE (please don’t tell me you don’t have time, as you do). Allow any heaviness to gently drop to the ground as you breathe long, slow and deep. Let it become cosmic compost to feed and nurture something new. Keep breathing this way and think about the seeds you want to sow in the Springtime, what are they? ISA

Winter has descended upon the Faery Forest. You have ceased struggling and fighting to change what is outside of yourself. Because you have relinquished the battle, you have won the war within yourself. You are now suspending activity and being in the moment. Through this stillness and inner consciousness, you are beginning to understand so much of where you have been and where you will go – and because you are fully in the present and allowing, you can also come to a deeper, more peaceful understanding of what it is you want, value, and desire.

This is a moment of complete stillness and simply be-ing: a long moment where you are completely present. You are as still as a chrysalis, hanging seemingly static from a branch, fragile and mysterious. Like the chrysalis, you will “do” nothing – nothing at all, except become yourself. Your transformation is being worked invisibly, on the inside, and when the time is right, you will share it with the world.

In a situation where you seem to have no control, no power, you are learning the most valuable form of power there is – self mastery. You pause with dignity and strength, and simply by doing this you create the right conditions for the right change.

This time will ultimately bring great peace, wisdom, and choices that enrich your life, others lives, and the healing of the world.

THE GREEN MAN

Each day will bring these changes, and it is as if life force itself is surging through you, and every cell radiates this bright, strong, fierce new energy.

Go forward and thrive, dear one!

FRIGGA

You are at a moment of great good fortune in this lifetime. You have created for yourself more than enough, and now the goodness that is flowing to you must be invested and used wisely. It is easy to squander youth or beauty or opportunity, as they seem such an eternal gift – but this card is here to share with you that it is time to ensure that this wonderful moment is worked with wisely. Invest in yourself and in your health, create more wealth, learn and study, and also offer your support and investment to worthy others. Take care of yourself, and truly make yourself into who and what you have always wanted to become.

This time will come around again, but it will not last forever – and so Frigga wishes for you to consider the gifts you are being given, the bounty coming to you, and consider with great vision and earnestness what will provide for you and your loved ones in the years to come. Be ready to act!

Your future can be created now – and the present can become so rich and enduring that nothing can shake your ability to continue prospering – your skills, your home, your mind, your body.

Take care of yourself, and watch the good fortune that flows from your wise investment, for many years to come.

How ADAPTABLE are you? New Moon in Gemini and Litha coming!

It’s Monday, it’s Monday – fa, la, la (Trust me, I’m singing out loud!) Remember we are re-framing Monday and making it magickal, mystical, marvelous, meditative and absolutely magnificent! First Monday in June and it’s time to ADAPT. I love June, (not because I am a sun bunny), but more a case of the flowers are blooming (especially the roses). Now I’m not talking ornamental roses with no smell, I’m talking about wild roses, Hansa’s and the other varieties that are rich in scent. If you have never buried your nose into a Hansa – I highly encourage it. With all the petals abounding it’s time to create some delicious tinctures, infusions and flower essences. It’s also a time to harvest the rose petals and dip them in meringue and dust them with sugar (Now those are absolutely glorious!)

With roses in bloom let’s talk about this month and week. There’s a lot happening this month energetically, we have the energy of the month, the New Moon and the energy of the approaching Summer Solstice.

Remember, the energy for this month is ADAPT and as Lena shares:- “This month is about looking forward at how you can be flexible and creative instead of back at what you are losing due to change and unexpected circumstances. When change occurs and situations are not what you expected, there is always opportunity to evolve in a positive way, to expand your perception of what is possible and to think outside the box. This requires a willingness to adapt, receptivity to something new, and trust that all is moving in the direction of positive personal evolution. The more optimistic and proactive you can be during the process, the better the outcome.

What is coming is a mystery and the mystery can be either frightening and stress producing, or exciting and inspiring in the anticipation of something new. It takes courage and letting go of your comfort zone to take advantage of the adventure of what change can bring into your life. If you know how you want your life to feel, that intention will drive the trust you need to have to keep you looking forward with enthusiasm instead of backwards with fear.”

I love how she uses the phrase “that intention will drive the trust you need to have to keep you looking forward with enthusiasm instead of backwards with fear.” I will say May for me had a lot of past feelings and fears come up, so there was quite a bit of unpacking to do. All good though, my baggage suitcase is wayyyy lighter now.

Today (Monday) is New Moon in Gemini. Now at the time both the Moon and the Sun are in exactly the same sign – did you know that? We cannot see the New Moon but on a soul level, the energy is working us, recharging us, and helping us to draw in what it is that we want from our lives. This is why it is a powerful and potent time for manifesting, visualising, and setting intentions for the month to come.

As Tannaz shares:- “This New Moon is all about truth, communication, and self-expression. This New Moon is drawing us to get clear on what our truth is and to work on expressing how we really feel. Under the darkness of this New Moon, we are also going to feel motivated to take action in some area of our lives.

While New Moons often cause us to retreat within and into the shadows of our own heart and soul, this New Moon is really championing us to take initiative and get things done.

There might be things in our lives that crop up around the Gemini New Moon that encourage us to act, make a decision, or put our foot down. We may also have to step up and take responsibility for what we want. If there is something we wish to communicate or speak up about, the New Moon will be supporting us to find our courage and strength.

As Oprah once said- “you only get in life what you have the courage to ask for.”And, under the spell of the New Moon, we must not be afraid to speak up and share what it is we desire.

While the Gemini New Moon is wonderful for all forms of self-expression and communication, we also have to be mindful of how we choose to communicate and what truths we wish to share with others. While we can’t force someone to listen to us or even understand us, we can lead by example by learning to really listen to the clues and signs around us. By listening and observing, it also allows more room for our other senses to kick in, especially our intuitive senses which are sometimes quieter and softer than our mind.

Take a moment to think about how you can listen more, whether it is listening to your clients, your friends, your family, or the Universe. Listening may just present that missing piece or the answers you’ve been looking for. In fact, if something has been troubling you, think about where can you afford to listen more. Where can you afford to tune into your intuition and trust the wisdom and knowledge that arises? If we want to communicate effectively, if we want to get to the truth of something, we first have to learn how to really listen. “

Under the dark New Moon of June, don’t hide away from your true power. Don’t squash down your emotions or ignore the gentle pulls and nudges of your heart. Use this energy to rise up, to speak up, and to stand up for all you believe in. Use this energy to take action and to take responsibility for the world you wish to create and the reality you wish to walk in.

We are not on this planet alone. Making connections, sharing our stories, listening to other stories, has always been the foundation of society and of humanity. Let’s get back to that. Let’s get back to storytime and open up about our journey, who we are, and what inspires us.Let us find the confidence to share our truth, to talk about our weaknesses and our strengths, and to celebrate the stories of others, for sharing and listening is how we inspire, grow, and change the world.

Thus, with ADAPT energy in play, the New Moon in Gemini energy we also have the building energy of Summer Solstice – aka as Litha. Litha is the first day of summer, the celebration of life coming into fruition and the gentle whisper that the days are going to get slowly shorten. The crystals that wiggled, giggled and jiggled are Clear Crystal Quartz Geode –known as the “master healer” and will amplify energy and thought, as well as the effect of other crystals. It absorbs, stores, releases and regulates energy. Rhodochrosite –integrates physical and spiritual energies, stimulating love and passion while energising the soul. Rhodochrosite opens the heart, lifting depression and encouraging a positive and cheerful outlook. Black Moonstone – A gem for intuition, balance, and wishes, Moonstone helps harbor our feminine side. (and of course some glorious Hansa petals).

So let’s take a moment to settle in shall we. Take a glorious exhale out through your mouth and then a slow inhale through your nose. Breathe long and deep and just allow yourself to come back to yourself. Feel anything that doesn’t serve you drop to the floor like dust.

Whilst breathing this way invite into your mind’s eye the energy of ADAPT and this glorious New Moon of speaking your truth. Let them dance in the center of your mind’s eye and when you are ready pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

It is time for you to focus completely on self-nurture and to support your own healing – emotionally, and in particular, physically. This means you must put aside all the excuses you have previously allowed to take precedence over your own wellbeing. Your own personal healing must be the top priority in your life. Seek out a holistic healer, a spiritual healer, and a physical healer and create a wellbeing program that you then fully commit to. Allow nothing to interrupt this. Nothing can take away this time you now must give to your own self – your soul is asking this of you, and you must become devoted to your own healing. When you do this, you will find others heal too – that your healing journey inspires others around you to fully connect with their own needs and, furthermore, allows them to become responsible for their own journey of healing.

Healing food must be within your home, and your ultimate home – your body. Healing exercise must be undertaken – mindful movement. Healing environments are your refuge. Healing people nourish you. Healing thoughts and music and energies support you on this journey every day. Be relentless and merciless in culling anything or anyone who will not allow you to support yourself through what must be done. You must become fully devoted to your own healing, and this must take place now.

FAERY GODMOTHER

When the Faery Godmother comes to you, be aware that this is a time when you will discover what has been long hidden to you – your true self will be revealed in surprising ways every day, and sudden moments of heightened perception will make this time especially significant for you. Spring Cleaning, Singing and Where’s Home?

Happy Magickal, Magnificent, Mystical, Merry, Manifesting, Marvelous March Monday! Did you have a glorious week delicious lovely with the wonderful Spring Equinox energy, Full Moon and the knowing that the light is getting longer and the flowers are pushing up through the cold earth! Quite a few of you have messaged asking when the Spring Equinox Reading Special lasts until. My darling it ends tonight, thus, if you feel called now is the time!

I have to say this has been a glorious week over here as I harnessed the energy of the Spring Equinox by taking time for ritual (I did a few including the Blessing Bowl one) which was amazing and went and sat by the ocean under the full moon. Talk about the sensation of having a moon bath! My awesome new neighbour brought me a beautiful posy of Spring flowers and a super cool art deco mirror over as Spring Equinox gifts – I was uber touched. The next day I did a glorious Spring Cleaning of the house, my office, my garden and my aura. Wowzer, wowzer, wowzer the sensation was like taking off the heavy fur coat of winter and putting on something lighter, sassier and more playful! I mentioned Spring Cleaning to a friend the other day and I watched her shoulders shoot up to her ears with the image, however, when I pointed out that this doesn’t necessarily mean scrubbing the toilet but more a cleansing of the energy in her home and her body with ease and grace, she felt more inclined to give it a try. In fact she phoned a couple of days later to let me know she had smudged, salt scrubbed, tidied one room up and washed one window and felt amazing! Gotta love a little cleansing energy, it just creates a fresh space for something new and more aligned.

On the weekend one of my best friends came for a visit and we had a fabulous time filled with axe tossing with the family (apparently not all families can do this together lol), beach walks, hikes, family dinners, large fires on the beach with random bongo playing french canadians and my concert! As some of you know a few months ago I stretched my comfort zone and joined a female acapella group (trust me this was a huge stretch for me). Every week we would rehearse, sing, laugh and share which was incredible and on Sunday we had our concert (I was very nervous)! The concert had a theme and the theme was “Home” and it was a fundraiser for the James Bay Refugee Association. There were incredible performers who all sang songs pertaining to what Home is, where one finds it, how it feels and all the rest. Our group performed 3 powerful songs pertaining to Home but more the sense of home within Spirit, Community and Relationship. This in turn got me to thinking about Home and what it means to me. To me Home is not necessarily the place I was born, but it’s the place where I feel safe, nurtured, cared for and connected to. For example, I felt very much at home in Yorkshire, and I feel very much at home here by the ocean. My physical space feels safe, serene and joyful – there are no chunks of darkness hiding in the closet or under the bed (thank goodness). I also realised that I am very picky about the people I allow in my Home (both physical space and mental space) which was quite interesting to pick up on as for years I would allow all sorts of energy and people into my physical and mental space (often to my detriment). Now I am far more discerning and if it doesn’t feel like a good fit the bright red door stays shut!!! So what does Home mean to you?

So with thoughts of energetic spring cleaning and home burbling in your being let’s crack on with the reading.

So delicious one, I invite you to take a moment and just settle into your body. Breathe in long slow and deep in through your nose and sigh it out through your mouth. Just Be and Breathe, you have more than enough time to do everything you feel needs to be done. As you let your shoulders drop and nestle along your spine allow the feel of Spring to burble up in your body and the sense of Home to whisper to you. Then when you are ready pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

THE WILD HUNT

There is, for all of us, a moment when excitement and nerves fuse, when we prepare to journey and do something we have anticipated for a long time. In the faery realm, this sensation is created by adventure known as the Wild Hunt. This is a gathering which takes place not only within the realm of faery, it is one where the faery king and queen lead faery hounds and faery horses on a hunt throughout the countryside, dipping into and out of the faery lands, surfacing in the human worlds from time to time, cleansing toxic energy, allowing natural forces to begin to flow through the cleared energy paths, awakening the wild world to brightest life once again, and leaving a trail of ecstasy and bliss after the frenzied storm of their ride.

The Wild Hunt is fierce, powerful, a little frightening, and thoroughly thrilling – and this faery queen is preparing herself for the joys and challenges of this great springtime event. So too you need to prepare yourself for some chaos – a wild time, when change tears through and upends all the order you have attached yourself to. You may need to pack, travel, find ways to move quickly, stop planning and organising for a moment and just go on an immensely enjoyable ride of your life.

The time coming for you is delirious in its excitement, and you fear this loss of control and order. But truly, it will refresh you, just as it sears the very edges of your nerves! Dress up, show up, and prepare to be amazed! Take a deep breath, find your voice, and begin to cry out at the top of your lungs. You are alive my friend, and will feel so more than ever before when the wild hunt touches your life!

OATH

An oath is a sacred bond that we make. It is more than a promise, it is the bond of a soul contract through the spoken word – and thus we must be cautious when we offer our word, and think through what it is we mean when we give it. It is impossible to ever know what another thinks we mean when we give our word, so when this card comes, there is a slight undertone of a warning – that another person may take your word and twist it to mean they have your loyalty forever, regardless of circumstance, behaviour, or treatment. An oath is made between equals, and an oath can be broken by both parties, and by circumstance.

You may now be considering a partnership or a contractual agreement. It is almost impossible to know how to ensure that this is a good thing, because the truth is, within every contract there is much that cannot be comprehended, even when it is read. If this is the case, ask the other party in the contract to explain what is meant by clauses you do not understand – and ask them to offer examples, so you can best understand the paper oath you are taking.

In some cases, it may be a handshake you are sealing an agreement with. Whatever its form, consider the weight that comes with the feeling of making this contract. Consider the future and the karmic load the agreement brings to you, along with its immediate benefits. It is the truth that when considering our word, we must understand as fully as we can what we have agreed to. Be sure to do this now.

THE DREAMER

You have pure magick flowing through you in the form of visions, dreams, and trance-like moments. You are visually psychic and all the world is full of messages being relayed to you both through the medium of physical sight and through the eyes of spirit. You may even find you are able to enter trance extremely easily. You’re adept at reading patterns within Nature, you can scry without meaning to, and you look into every face knowing the story it is silently sharing. One glance gives you information about the person or place you are with or within, and your skill is an ancient one, revered throughout the ages.

You may find yourself gazing intently at other people’s faces, and picking up information, being able to read expressions, seeing shapes and patterns and fate within the forms tea leaves take at the bottom of the cup, reading signs in clouds, or simply knowing what will happen before you open your physical eyes, because you can see what is to happen next.

Visually, you are very sensitive, so it may be time to change your environment, your appearance, or the appearance of where you spend much of your time so that it better offers you the energy with which you wish to go forward.
