Eclipse Season

Walking the Eclipse Gateway: A Threshold into Balance.

Hello gorgeous soul,

There is so much delicious magickal energy swirling around right now.

We are in the middle of the Eclipse gateway, the Virgo New Moon Eclipse on September 21st and then we have Fall Equinox on the 22nd!  Wowzer,

So grab a cuppa, let’s nestle down and have a wee chat shall we?

First, let me ask – How are you doing in the midst of the Eclipse Gateway?  Lol

I have had lots of feedback and emails from you ranging from WTF to I finally RELEASED it, but now what?

I have also received multiple questions basically saying:

HELP: Is there going to be a Magickal Mabon book this year?  Yes

This year we have the Mabon Magickal Playbook filled with everything to connect you into Fall Equinox and because Equinox is my birthday I am offering it to you 2/3rds off.

On Equinox I will open 20 spots only with focused seasonal readings for this time, and I will post that invitation next week.

Now back to the Eclipse gateway.

We are in the midst of a Lunar to Solar gateway (and that does make a difference).

When you are walking the Eclipse Gateway between a Lunar Eclipse to a Solar Eclipse, usually there is a theme of release and letting go in order to make space for the new.

Lunar Eclipses have the ability to pull and drag things out of you, almost like the Moon’s gravitational pull helps to draw things out that have been buried deep within.

This “pulling” or “drawing out” energy helps you to release things that are no longer serving you and can bring old thoughts, patterns, and beliefs to the surface in order to be cleared.

As you walk the Eclipse Gateway after a Lunar Eclipse, it is likely you may feel drained and lethargic. You may also feel the need to go within, reflect, and spend time on your own.

Hidden truths and feelings may also come to the surface, and you may have to deal with old wounds that you had pushed away or forgotten about.

Lunar Eclipses always challenge us to dig a little deeper and push a little further so we can create more awareness around our thoughts and habits, and this is something that definitely intensifies as we move through the Gateway.

Lunar Eclipses can also bring endings, and these endings often occur during the Gateway period itself.

As you move closer to the Solar Eclipse, a sense of lightness usually follows, and you may even start to feel space being created in your life.

Ending with a Solar Eclipse indicates that the months ahead are all going to be focused on creating the new and filling this new space in your life with something more positive and aligned.

It also indicates that the months ahead are going to be filled with action and energy, and you are going to be supported to move forward.

Do remember that on the Virgo New Moon Eclipse, this is not the time to set intentions.  It’s more a case of letting the dust settle a bit.

Then the next day is Fall Equinox!  Frigging love this celebration.

During the equinox, the Sun crosses the equator, effectively moving from the Northern to the Southern Hemisphere.

What’s truly intriguing is that the equinox delivers almost equal portions of day and night.

This balance of light and dark makes it an extraordinary time for magical practices, as it serves as a liminal space where energies are uniquely harmonized. 

It’s like the universe is pausing, giving us a chance to recalibrate.

Traditionally, this period heralds the beginning of harvest season, a time celebrated by agricultural societies with various harvest festivals. 

In nature, animals take this as their cue to prep for winter, either hoarding food or commencing their migrations to warmer locales.

If you’re into historical landmarks, you might be fascinated to know that Stonehenge aligns precisely with the Sun’s position during both the Autumn and Spring Equinoxes. 

During the equinox, its alignment with the Sun is so precise that it defies coincidence.  

Our ancestors knew that this wasn’t just a day; it was a gateway, a moment of potent energy that demanded attention and action for the welfare of the community and the individual alike.

Hence why I created the Mabon Magickal Playbook, she is Sassy, Soulful and Spellbinding (her words, not mine lol).

She invites you to step into the golden glow of Autumn and her playful mystical voice will remind you: balance is sexy, gratitude is powerful, release is sacred.

Okay, let’s crack on with the reading shall we?

Take a glorious deep breath out, let all the stale old air just leave your body and at the end of your exhale hold for the count of 3.  Now take a deep breath in and as you fill yourself with this glorious prana energy, invite in the energy of change and release.  Let it swirl through your cells and into your heart space.

Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that tug or entice you.

ACCOUNTABILITY

When we take responsibility for our choices, we gain integrity and the right relationship with ourselves.  Optimally, our decisions are conscious ones made with consideration for the likely consequences for all involved.  However, this is not always the case.

In life, we learn as we go.  As we become aware of a more beneficial way to handle ourselves, others and life, we do so accordingly.  We maximise our chances of this when we remain open to addressing any damage or ill feelings that arise toward ourselves and others.  

The refusal to acknowledge our flaws and imperfections that show up in moments of poor discernment and behaviour thwarts our growth and inner harmony.  

Life gets easier and infinitely more beautiful and warm, the second we accept that we – like everyone else – are humanly imperfect and that this is perfectly acceptable.  

The things we wish we had not done or had approached differently are gifts.

They are necessary for learning how to do things differently going forward.  They are also what make us increasingly compassionate and understanding of others and their actions.  We are not our mistake but what we do with them.  All of our past choices can be used to help us grow into the truth of ourselves.

They help us identify what is aligned with our Spirit Self in the less obvious places.  

Accountability is an act of self-love, compassion, and acceptance that benefits all.  However, the most important person to be accountable to is yourself. 

It can be helpful to develop the habit of checking in with  yourself each day by asking:  What am I doing and why?  Is this aligned with my values and Spirit Self? If so, proceed. 

If not, ask yourself: Is there another way, a way that feels good and true for me to continue, or does this behaviour, thinking, situation, or person need to go?  Do I need the perspective of someone who knows better and is more experienced in this area?

When you are accountable, you stand empowered, confident, and with integrity.  

BROKEN DREAMS

We break our dreams when we cease to believe in them and ourselves.

Our attitude toward disappointment, perceived failures, and rejection has the power to derail our confidence.  When a prolonged state of defeat and doubt ensues, we not only give up on our dreams and ourselves but also on what makes us feel alive.

It can be hard, but we need to trust that the way to realise our dreams is by persisting and working with the disappointments as well as any perceived failures or rejections.  Perceived setbacks are often opportunities to learn to think differently, to develop further, and to explore new ways of realising our vision.  

When we interpret, and therefore turn, challenges into actual setbacks, it can feel like the world has rejected us.  In response to this feeling, we give up too soon.

The world does not reject us.  It cannot.  Of course, it may feel like it does, but what is more likely to have transpired is that certain individuals, organisations, and opportunities have said no to us for one thing at one point in time.

The world is full of many more individuals, organisations and opportunities if we continue to say yes to ourselves.

To abandon your dreams is to abandon yourself.  There is no need for this.  Explore ways of doing what you love differently.  Being flexible with the way that you go about realising your vision will save you from much unnecessary heartache, regret, lost time, and despair.

Do what makes you feel alive in your life. 

Never lose sight of what lights you up and makes your Spirit Self sing.  No matter what.  

CIRCLES

Our thoughts, emotions, behaviours and relationship patterns are potentially detrimentally circular when they remain unconscious.

Without acknowledging that we do not know what we are doing or how to get different results, it seems as though the same disappointments, ruts, and detours keep happening to us.  This is because we do not realise our subconscious part in these unwanted reoccurrences.  Nor that we have the power to exit the unmerry-go-round.

If we do nothing different, nothing different happens.  We will only continue to re-enact our default setting automatically.  A life lived in circles inevitably limits what is possible for us.

It can also be particularly harmful when toxic relationships, addiction, or financial dependence is involved.  Awareness of how we perpetuate more of the same is necessary before we can consciously create an upward and outward spiral of life for ourselves.  

Circles that spiral downward are the effects of unconscious repetition and confusion.  In this sense, we are the ones who prohibit us from venturing forth upon new ground.  To acknowledge that we do not know what to do about something, we begin to see with increasing clarity, logic, desires and emotions what is confusing and therefore prohibiting us.

Once we can see things for what they are, we can recognise what we can do about them.

There is always more than one way out of any circle.  You are ready to be free and go forth.

Focus your attention on who you are without the loops, fears, distractions, and preoccupations.  

In other words, focus on who you would be and what you would do without the problems, drama, impossible lifestyle, or comfort zone you may be circling.

You are your white horse, ever equipped to venture forward.

Aries Eclipse, Libra, Chiron, Mercury Retrograde, to name a few! CAN YOU SAY KAPOW!!!!!

We aren’t going to bother with the Happy M, M, M, M, M day today, lol!

Why?  ( to be honest I want to be outside watching the pieces of the eclipse I can see from the west coast!)  Hence why you are receiving this earlier in the day!

So grab a cuppa as this is a long, information packed post!

Today is the Aries solar eclipse, combined with the Wood Dragon, Mercury retrograde and a number 8 year, 

Can you say KAPOW!!!!

Let me ask (as I didn’t do a reading last week as I played), how are you feeling with this eclipse portal and Mercury retrograde?

Some of you have shared that the energy has amplified and been challenging, others have shared that they have felt motivated, and for some – no impact.

So let’s dive into this Eclipse portal energy, as most of my astrologer friends are saying that it is the most powerful they have seen in over 20 years.  

And then we will give the back piece of this year energy, and the Dragon energy (just for shits and giggles, or more a case of as humans we forget.)

Okay, so this eclipse portal is all about purifying, detoxing, and adding supreme extra juice to the new seeds we are planting.  

But be clear, these are seeds that are aligned with your truest self.

What do you want to do in a meaningful way in this life?

The first eclipse on March 25th, in Libra, was hitting the South Node, which is all about dropping the karmic baggage, think of it like a shedding phase.  

This is the place of glorious Shadow territory ( a territory that a lot of us humans try to avoid like the plague), but it is the place of hidden potentials.  

When you are willing to do Shadow work and I mean deep work, you discover all the hidden potentials, the gifts and the wisdom that have been lurking there.

You discover your “Golden Shadow”, and the invitation with this eclipse energy is to really own it and nurture it.  

Think of it like digging the dirt so that your seed can FLOURISH!

Today we have the second eclipse in Aries, and just to be clear – we started working with  the Libra/Aries axis energy last July and it will go on until January 2025, so 18 months in total!!!!

Aries brings glorious Sacred Warrior energy to the table, inviting you to get super clear, deal with your Karmic bullshit and stand up against the grain!

What do you stand for?  

Because if you aren’t clear, the world around you will try to tell you and I’m pretty dang sure it won’t be in alignment with your truest self.

Not only do we have this eclipse in Aries, but Chiron conjunct this eclipse to the minute!

We will never see that again in our lifetimes (so yes, another big one).

Who is Chiron?

Chiron is the Wounded Healer and this is a time for some deep, deep healing and releasing of ancestral stories that aren’t yours (even though you may think they are).

It’s about allowing the wounds to surface and alchemise them.

Also, don’t forget that with Mercury retrograde it’s all about the RE words.

Revist, rethink, recreate, realign, readjust and more importantly with it happening in the middle of these eclipses – it will extend the eclipse energy.

Now do you see what is happening energetically? (So no, you haven’t been going crazy!)

So let’s talk about the container that  this is all happening in, think of it like a glorious sacred bowl made of the Wood Dragon energy and the 8 energy.

Remember what I said near the beginning of the year…..

2024 is an 8 year,  8 is the number that takes everything and amplifies it!

It’s the year to really step into your power, your strength and there will be lots of lessons about having the courage to be yourself and to think outside the box.

If you have been a people pleaser, wowzer, there are going to be lots of lessons around this to help you finally release this pattern. 

So this is where the invitation for you is to really tune in, own your worth, get comfortable with uncomfortable emotions, and be a very active participant in creating your life (not a stand on the side victim).  

Throw in the energy of this being the Year of the Wood Dragon, and if you remember:-

Dragon is the only animal in the Chinese zodiac that is not of the mundane earthly world. It has the highest vision and broadest reach – they soar the highest and furthest. It’s a year to look beyond the confines and to dream big, to envision the future we want. Getting clarity on our purpose or mission is essential.

Authenticity is key and is of the highest vibration. We are asked to believe in ourselves, to remember who we are, to find our own authentic story and not anyone else’s. The exalted Dragon insists on raising the standards, set your goals high for it’s time to really step up.

“Wood energy allows us to grow, expand, and keep our vision on track for the long term. The Season of Spring is connected to the element of Wood, so this year of the Dragon will help us to create new beginnings, plant new seeds, and allow our garden to flourish.

The energy is ripe for new beginnings and undergoing new ventures, but we have to create stability and work from the heart.

The words that come up strongly are Heart based, Strength, Authenticity and Personal Power.

Because as humans we tend to forget very quickly and we don’t work with the energies and the power we have inside ourselves to create a glorious tapestry of change, growth, ease and something that allows us to Flourish!

Look Mortality in the face.  (Yes, seriously)

You have 1 week, 1 month, 1 year – what is it you want to create, what do you want to do?

Drop the mundane, the excuses, the bullshit and the habits.

Write a list.

Write a list of what doesn’t light you up.

Write a list of what lights you up.

What is calling to your depths and your soul that you keep putting off?  Really sit with this and then…….let yourself be open to what comes up.

Sacred Warrior Practices

There are many practices I teach in the circles that I lead to help you tap into your own Divine Sacred Warrior.

The easiest one – do Warrior Pose (yes the Yoga pose).  But do it with intention and really allow your body to stretch and your soul to sing into the spaces.

Okay, enough chuntering. I have a glorious big announcement for you, but I will send it out on Wednesday as this has been a lot for you to take in.

So my darling one envision yourself as your own Sacred Warrior, holding that pose of strength, clarity and all for the highest good.  Allow that energy to swirl in on your breath and fill your cells, and as you breathe out, allow the “shoulds” to drop to the floor like dust.

Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that call to you.

RENEWING YOUR LIFE

“Radiant Vitality is filling my life!”

A powerful inner and outer renewal is occurring in your life. Purification is happening on many levels.

Take your life to the next level by clutter-clearing.

Release situations and people that don’t empower you, space-clear your environment, and eat lightly.  In order for renewal to occur, the old needs to make way for the new.

Sometimes it’s difficult for exciting experiences to come into your life if your auric field or your personal space is cluttered.

There’s simply no room for something new.

When you purify your life, you create the space for new opportunities to come flooding in.

If you have a sense that  your auric field, your living space, or your body have become cluttered or dingy, this is the time to do some inner and outer clearing.

Ask yourself:

Is there anything I need to purify or clear out of my life?

Is there anything that needs to be renewed or re-examined in my life?

How can purification help me become a clearer channel for myself and others?

LETTING GO

“I surrender joyously to the ebbing and flowing of life.”

Surrender. Relinquish control and allow Spirit to take over. You don’t need to do everything by yourself. 

All is well. It’s time to just let it all go and enjoy the ride! 

Doing so gives others permission to let go in their own lives.

There are times to hold on for dear life, and times to simply throw up your hands and let go.  It’s time to release any limiting patterns, emotional attachments, or inner and outer clutter.

Surrendering doesn’t mean that you’re yielding to a force outside of yourself.

It means that you’re allowing your soul to take over.  

Release the stress of needing to control things, wanting to determine th outcome of a situation, or expecting others to act in a particular way.

There is a simple grace and beauty that unfolds when you truly let go.

Loving spiritual help is all around you……. Simply open your heart and let it in.

Ask yourself:

Is there anything I need to release?

Is there a person or situation I need to let go of?

Is there anyone who needs to let go of me?

PLANTING SEEDS

“Seeds of grace are being planted in the fertile soil of my soul.”

The fertile soil of your soul is ready to receive the seeds that will come to harvest in the years ahead.

Get clear on what you desire for yourself and your future.  

Timing is vital, and now is your moment to plant spiritual seeds.

Every realised dream once started as an idea that took root.  

For your projects, ideas, and dreams to come to fruition, you need to first become clear on what your heart truly desires.  

Then ask yourself, Is this really what I want?

Believe that miracles can happen.  Use this time to plant seeds for your future.

Nurture these precious seeds to that they will grow as strong as the mighty oak.

Take action in the desired direction of your dreams, but be willing to pull the weeds along the way.

It won’t be long before you are reaping the bounty of your labour.

Ask yourself:

What has blocked my seeds from taking root in the past, and how can I overcome this?

How can I best prepare for my desired future?

What is being sown for my future that I may not be consciously aware of?

Happy Magickal, Marvellous, Manifesting, Moony, Maddening Monday!

How was your Ostara (Spring Equinox?) 

I took the day off and went and frolicked in the woods, watched 6 eagles dance in the sky and spent hours in my garden planting all sorts of delicious seeds, and finished off the day with a glorious ritual.  

It was frigging deliciously, divine!

And guess what?

Today we start Eclipse Season with the glorious Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Libra! 

(As a Libra person this one has been so present for me over the last 2 weeks.)

So what does this mean for you?

If you remember, eclipses come in pairs.  As if they are a portal or a threshold.  

Eclipses uncover hidden emotions, beliefs, thought patterns and habits.  

They bring to the surface the bits and bobs we have been either trying to stuff into an already over cramped closet, or have continually swept under a rug (and we wonder why the rug has a bump in the middle!)

So if you have been feeling agitated, emotional or as I like to refer to it – “itchy, twitchy and bitchy”, I’m not surprised.  

We start this Eclipse season  as the emotion-ruling moon opposes the ego-ruling sun, creating a penumbral lunar eclipse in diplomatic Libra. This powerful event could illuminate how leaning into our selfish habits, competitiveness and impatience can sour even the most harmonious connections. 

Use this as an opportunity to re-evaluate how you’ve been showing up in your relationships.     

With this being a Full Moon Eclipse.  Imagine the energy of a Full Moon intensified by 100, that is the energy this brings.  The releasing of a full moon, the uncovering of an eclipse and the deep, deep spotlight on relationships and balance with Libra (with a zing!).  

On top of it we have Mercury going retrograde on April 1st (thank goodness it is after Easter celebrations) which is all about transforming how we communicate. Speaking our truth, being willing to use our voice in our integrity.

“The portal that opens under this Libra Lunar Eclipse is one of endings. It seems that we are being guided to bring something to a close. Perhaps it’s a thought pattern, way of belief, or, perhaps it is something more tangible like the ending of a job, relationship, or chapter of our lives.”

The scales of Libra represent the balance between giving and receiving in our lives. Where are we giving too much? Where are we not giving enough? 

These were questions that we asked at Spring Equinox – balance baby!

These questions are likely to be on our minds under the Eclipse and at the root of any issues that come up for us.

Our relationships are likely to be a big focus under this Eclipse, as Libra energy gets us to look at how we show up in our partnerships with others and what we are giving and receiving. 

Are we being truthful and authentic to ourselves? (Very powerful question to ask!)

Do we like who we become when we are in certain relationships?

Then to close off the Eclipse portal we have the first full Solar Eclipse on April 8th. 

Prepare to take the reins as the spirit-driving sun conjuncts the empathetic moon in courageous Aries, we’ll be given the tools to recognize and claim what we need to truly thrive. 

Epiphanies and surprises could also crop up, blessing us with empowering wisdom — just make sure you employ this newfound knowledge so you can continue to evolve and grow.  

So in a nutshell, These powerful lunations can help drive us closer to our destinies — if we’re willing to put in the work.

So my darling one, take a lovely, luscious deep breath in and then blow it out like you are blowing a trumpet.  Let yourself pause for a moment and invite in that place of balance, the giving and the receiving.  The mask and the authenticity.  Allow it to gently caress you and when you are ready.  Pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

THE MERMAID AND THE TURTLE

An elder will teach you.

It is highly unlikely that a literal, experienced tribal elder will step forward in garb of feather and bone to guide you today – though such beings can appear in vision and in disguise (as shapeshifters, they can become almost anyone).

So while it may seem that there is no witch with her cauldron of transformation at the ready,, no Green Man to take you into the deep beneath of the underworld and help you to be reborn, there are ancient ones who are ready to teach you the deep knowledge of the planet and her oceans, and they come to you in many ways.  

At this time, it is the turtles who will speak with you, letting you know of your very old soul and whispering words that reawaken knowledge that is deep in the blood and the bones of the Mother’s seas.  

In order to grow, we must experience transitions and changes.

To be fully alive, we must die again and again, all in this lifetime.  

While we have many rituals for birthdays and religious holidays, we often yearn for the depth of the rituals of the old days, during which part of us would die and another part of us would spring to life, and we would be reborn and renewed.

You are now about to celebrate life’s great shifts in more meaningful ways.

You are about to enter into a real relationship with the cycles of the planet – and you will be asked to observe these respectfully, thanks to the teaching of an elder.

A mentor, elder, or other wise one will instruct you at this time, but she may come in the form of any age.

Listen.  Choose this person well.  

It’s time to reclaim the practices that pulse in your bones, your ancestral and spirit lines.

SNAKE PRINCESS

The serpentine path to power.

Associated with the goddess, worshipped in the matriarchal cultures of Minoa, and venerated by many people, including the Hopi, the snake is life itself.  

It is the marriage of the heavens and earth, and it symbolises the union of masculine and feminine.  

The snake is your spine, your DNA, and your nervous system; it is the ancient serpent kundalini knowledge that has been denied for over two thousand years and now returns.  

It may be time for you to carry a staff, a sacred tool around which the snake mother can twine and speak with you.  You deserve to let this energy flow into you, for it is the ultimate energy of rebirth.  

It is time for you to shed the skin of fear and conditioning, yet to still use your own wits.  

The snake will support your intelligence, and the goddess will support your true self-love and acknowledgement.  

You are about to receive knowledge of healing, of ancient times, of the beauty of what lies beneath – the underworld, with all its wisdom of crystals, minerals, and ancient worlds.  

Speak and show who you are.  You will not bite.  You will grow strong.  You will not poison.  

You will inform us all with your brightness and illuminated apple, which when opened will reveal the five star seeds of wisdom.  Do not refuse this apple.  Do not heed the fear.  

Transform and heal.  

The propaganda about the snake and the serpent goddess has led us to fear this creature and our deep, wise, ancient self, and to forgo many blessed forms of connecting with the divine and with our own DNA.  

My home is this tree of the world, where all souls flow from.  Your soul is nurtured by my presence and wisdom of the tree.  

Eat of our fruit.  It is your soul nourishment.  

And do not let the fears and the lies you have been taught be the reason you deny me.  

You are strong enough.  You are worthy enough.  

QUETZALCOATL AND THE PRIESTESS OF TIME

The time has come.  The time to act is now.

The feathered serpent Quetzalcoatl is at the heart of the Mayan people’s traditions, and he is a timekeeper.  

His return is now, and thus this is the time of most rapid transformation, of the clarity of a thought that can manifest into reality immediately.

We are in the most challenging and fantastic times ever on this planet, and Quetzacoatl heralds a shift between worlds of consciousness.  

He and his influence are now the reality, and those who refuse to step up and embrace and incorporate the new energies will find themselves deep in struggle and unhappiness over and over.  

Instead, it’s time to refuse to allow fear to corrupt your courage and to do what must be done!

Will you shift your consciousness – will you change deliberately, despite the fear and the others who tell you that you are wrong?

Will you move away from fighting, opposition, the either/or mentality, and shift into a being-ness that allows for a much greater reality?

The time is now.  That is all you need to know – but there is much that you must do.

A deliberate effort to move away from navel gazing and procrastination will transform into a determination to become through doing, thinking, being, sharing, and insisting o n the new reality’s truths for you.

It is time to embrace a new standard of excellence and to make that your creed.

Hello my darling, how was the Libra New Moon Lunar Eclipse for you?  I got up bright and early and yomped off to a glorious craggy spot that faces the East and watched what I could whilst the dogs cavorted – ignorant of the energy that was flooding in!

But the energy was intense and it was fascinating to note the change in the suns colour and the temperature.

Remember that New moons represent new beginnings – one cycle has come to a close & a new one begins. It’s a powerful time to start something new, plant new seeds you want to grow in your life. New Moons initiate new ideas.. They bring new dreams to life. With this solar eclipse something new is beginning in a larger, profound way. A major chapter in your life is coming to a close and a new one is beginning.

The solar eclipse helps expose deeper parts of yourself, so you start a new chapter more aligned with your soul. It’s here to help your truest, most authentic self emerge. It gives permission to the parts of yourself you usually hide away to step forward in the light of day.

The Sun represents your ego – it’s the mask you wear in the world; and the Moon is your shadow, the part of yourself you keep hidden. During the solar eclipse, darkness falls on the Sun & your shadow is revealed in the light of day.

Lunar eclipses usher in change, they can be a time of massive transformation – time of expansion & evolution.

Lunar eclipses are powerful teachers. If changes need to be made in your life, the lunar eclipse will set those things in motion. It pushes things along sometimes causing abrupt endings & changes – whether you want it, or not.

Lunar Eclipses bring things to the surface so they can be cleared away.

What’s been coming up for you recently? Has the Universe been nudging you to release something in your life?

I imagine it has! This is important work at this time of year. Autumn is all about releasing old patterns, mindsets, ways of living that no longer serve us.

The seasonal energy & the eclipse energy are really colliding right now. They are aligning to support you in this transformative, brave, difficult work of letting go whatever we are needing to release in our lives – in order to move into the next chapter in our lives.

Just look at the trees around you, the leaves are changing colour and starting to gently release their hold on the branches.

So guess what? With all of this happening it means that Halloween/Samhain is coming! (You should see my happy dance!) 

I love, love, love Halloween, it is my most favourite celebration. The pumpkin carving, the costumes, the terrorising small children when they come for sweeties and the decorating.

You should see all the fun creations I have been making to decorate the front yard with!  I will tell you about them next week.  And you will be able to see photos of them on my Instagram.  

Now, many of you have already started asking if there is going to be a Magikal Manual for Samhain (Halloween), you bet!  It will be available next weekish.  So if you are part of our wonderful email community you will hear about it.  

Now you may have heard people say “Samhain is coming and the veil is thinning.“

But what does that actually mean?

Let’s begin this exploration by considering that on one level, we are each separate beings with our finite little lives. But on a truer level, we are each infinite and eternal. We have no beginning and no end. And we are one with each other and every single thing. At Samhain, that relentless, all-pervasive Mystery is as close as it ever gets. And now we’ve arrived at what we mean when we say “the veil is thin.” 

You might say the veil is the place where the everyday illusion of separation brushes up against the divine truth of eternity and universal interconnection. The place where form meets spirit, seen meets unseen, known meets unknown.

When we meditate or perform ritual, or when we have a mystical experience of any variety, this curtain parts and we are able to gaze into the place of power, the place between the worlds.

Okay, enough chuntering on let’s crack on with the reading!  When I went to the cards to ask who wanted to guide, heal and support this week I was delighted to see that The Spirit of the Animals Oracle chose to shine.  

So in case you may have never met them, let me introduce you.  “Animal Medicine, Animal Totems, and Animal Mascots have had cultural significance throughout our history.  Europeans adopted animals as tribal symbols that were later incorporated into crests for nations.  China has an animal associated with every birthday.  The Romans celebrated the eagle as the symbol for the empire. 

Our ancestors observed the appearance of animals as omens and signs.  Shamans and mystics rely on spirit animal helpers.  Native Americans have vision quests to discover their personal animal totem.  School sports teams choose animal mascots.  It is no wonder that the interest in animals as emblems and how they relate to us still persists.  Animals as symbols live in our deepest memory.”

Wonderful!  So my darling one just settle in.  Allow your breath to bring you back into your body and call back all the pieces of you that you may have left in various places throughout the last week.  Just breathe them all back to your core, like welcoming in little sparks of starlight.

LIZARD

Lizard is an Ancient One.  They are reptiles from an older time.  Their quick action and quirky maneuvers outwit and confuse their adversaries.  Lizards survive.

Lizard is sometimes called the “little dragon”.  Lizard medicine has the power of regeneration and transformation.  Lizards can shed their skin, their tail, let go of the past and step into a positive future.  Lizard people know they can survive anything and heal against incredible odds.  They are powerful dreamers and should pay attention to messages that come from their subconscious.  You can receive warnings that will help you avoid pitfalls.

If Lizard has chosen you, you have the “little dragon” within.  Dragons are those who are free of the limitations of the past and transform into greater awareness of self and personal power.  With Lizard medicine, you can transcend injury and hardship.  Lizard people re-grow and renew themselves into wholeness.

PEACOCK

The Peacock is the most iridescent of all birds.  Their feathered cloak of blue, aqua and gold is worthy of royalty.  Their boisterous cries hold both mockery and laughter, which comes from their regal self-confidence.  Peacocks are blessed with clear vision that notices the smallest detail.  Because of their ability to eat poisonous snakes, Peacocks were used as protectors in ancient temples. 

If Peacock appears good luck will follow.  The feathers of Peacock are symbols for protection, prosperity and sensuality.  The Peacock is a symbol for rebirth and new beginning like its cousin the elusive Phoenix.

If Peacock has walked into your life you have a colourful and vibrant personality that is sure to win admirers.  You can raise yourself to great heights of brilliance in your field.  Peacock people have the gift of observation and keen perception.  Your inner vision brings you wisdom and foresight.  You must guard against letting your vanity or pride get the better of you. 

The best Peacocks are just their authentic selves.  Your positivity and radiance helps lift others up to realise their own worth.

You were born to shine and inspire.

Practice humility to avoid jealousy.

Be grateful for life

And more good things will come.

OWL

Owl is the messenger and revealer of secrets.  The totem of oracles and seers, Owl sits on their shoulder and is their advisor  When Owl flies into your life know that a time of unveiling is at hand and the truth will be made known.  Change is in the wind. 

Owl medicine can help you release the past and fly into a better future. 

Owls are creatures of the night.  Their silent flight and superior vision make them supreme hunters.  They capture the prize.  If they cross your path repeatedly it is a warning to review your situation and see where deception is lurking.  To see an owl can be an omen that a profound change is coming.

If Owl is your totem you are an Old Soul.  You succeed with wisdom.  No one can deceive you and you see into others’ souls.  Be sure to keep your knowledge secret unless asked to provide counsel.  Trust should not be broken. 

Ask your Owl totem to sit on your shoulder and guide you.  Become the conscious student of Owl.  Embrace your gifts and fly with the  masters

Happy Magickal, Messy, Mysterious, Magickal, Manic, Manifesting Monday!

How was your Easter or Passover?  Mine was delicious, filled with play, food, family, dirt and lots of outdoor adventures!

So let’s get down to it, shall we?  

Because this week we open  up the Eclipse portal this week- whoot!  (No, don’t run away and hide in the closet).

However, before we start – do you remember that I said your mantra this month should be “Boundaries, boundaries, boundaries?” (I hope you have been putting that into practice.)

So let me ask, before we dive into eclipse energy – do you pay attention to the signs that are trying to communicate with you?  I often hear from clients and friends that they are asking for a sign, but because it doesn’t come in the neat tidy package they expect, they ignore it.

Signs are everywhere (think about the stop sign just down the road).  Or the feather that flutters down on your path with no bird in sight.  

Signs are a way of the Universe/Divine communicating and chatting with us.  

Could be numbers that show up, animals that randomly appear, feathers dropping from the sky, a friend you haven’t heard from for years phones, the perfect thing you were desiring manifests.  

Why am I bringing up signs?  

As we open up the eclipse portal many of you have shared they have been experiencing physical symptoms, vivid dreams, that restless energy where it’s as if your skin is fitting a bit too tight, strange signs, insomnia and oh such much more.  

Including zero tolerance for bullshit and arseholes.  

Totally get it!  (Signs)

What does this Eclipse mean for you?

On April 19th/20th (depending where you live) we have the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries (think about that sign). 

This is a hybrid solar eclipse which  is a combination of an annular and total eclipse, where the former becomes the latter and then it reverses back.  

In other words “The Aries New Moon Solar Eclipse is a hybrid between an Annular Eclipse, where you can see a ring of fire around the Sun, and Total Eclipse, where the Sun is completely blocked.”

Hybrid Eclipses are incredibly rare and can suggest a transition or perhaps a shift between two worlds. Just as the Eclipse moves from Total to Annular, perhaps something in our lives is preparing to shift too.”

Eclipses uncover hidden emotions, beliefs, thought patterns and habits.  

They bring to the surface the bits and bobs we have been either trying to stuff into an already over crammed closet, or have continually swept under a rug (and we wonder why the rug has a bump in the middle!)

However, This is a very powerful portal for transformation, change and moving into the next level of productivity and manifestation.

Eclipses  often act as portals to the life that our soul needs us to lead, so we evolve.

The energy of an eclipse can be like a reset button for our lives, allowing us to release old patterns and make way for new growth.

This can be a challenging process, as it often requires us to confront our deepest fears and limitations. But if we’re willing to do the work, eclipses can also be incredibly transformative times that lead to greater clarity, purpose, and fulfillment.

Don’t be afraid to embrace the intensity of the upcoming eclipse season. 

Trust that the universe has a plan for you, and that this powerful energy is leading you toward the life that your soul needs you to lead.

Okay, with all that being said – let’s crack on with the reading.

Please let me introduce them.  

Have you ever seen something and felt like it was more than what it seems at first glance?  A sign?  We’ve been conditioned to write off these experiences as pure coincidence or nothing more than random occurrences, but that is not always the case.

Signs and symbols are the Universe’s way of communicating with us.  Our willingness to become an active participant in the conversation is a choice.  

The Universe is always communicating and signs speak to us in a very personal way, allowing each of us to have our own one on one relationship with the Divine.  Almost like the Universe has given you a nickname or a secret code that only you can crack.

These guides are a conduit for that energy.  

You are being invited into a conversation with the Divine and your Higher Self that will feed your soul and reveal the very answers you are seeking.

Let go of doubt and follow the signs.

Okay, let’s drop in shall we?  

I invite you to just gently breathe yourself back into this moment.  Just this moment.  

Let the dross of the day or the mind drop to the ground and feel your breath filling your whole being.  Allow it to take whatever pace it needs.  Then invite into your mind’s eye a glorious swirling vortex of energy.  In that energy is interwoven so many glorious messages from the divine just for you and the pieces that you have been stuffing under the carpet.

Let them come up, with no judgment, just watch them, breathe in and welcome the signs from the divine, breathe out and let go of the bumps under the carpet.  

Then when you are ready.  Pick the card or cards that call to you.

Destiny

Look at your hand, the palm of your hand.  There is power in your palm. 

When you rub your palms together vigorously you create a ball of energy.    A ball of energy that is palpable and can change things.  

So what are you passionate about?  Have you thought about your purpose?

You are being invited back to yourself and your destiny.

Prepare for fated events and glorious moments that seem out of your control.

You may notice an increase in coincidences, and things may align in ways that seem to be impossible.  These forces are pushing you toward your destiny.  You are being nudged to follow your soul’s calling.

If you don’t know what that is yet, take some time to feel into what you are drawn to and what you may enjoy.

You may experience such random connections that lead you to exactly where you are destined to be.  Allow your intuition and spiritual senses to guide you.

If you are feeling like you are destined for more, but not quite sure what that might look like.  Accept that you don’t have an explanation for everything and allow the Universe to work its magic and guide you.

Fate is stepping in and leading you to your next phase.

LOTUS FLOWER

Enlightenment

The lotus flower represents the quiet strength and ease that follow once you have achieved a heightened level of awareness.  There’s an inner knowing, peace, and spiritual connection that shifts your focus from constant worry to allowing yourself to approach situations as they come, with this awareness..

After many life lessons you have grown and acquired valuable wisdom.  Situations that may have previously caused stress or strife now roll off your back.

Approach life with a pure heart and calm mind, which allows you to rise above the noise.

With this enlightenment lifting you up, it is still important to stay grounded.  

Serve as an example for others who may be struggling or not possess the same level of understanding you now have, so be patient and accept people for where they are in their journey.

Remember to connect with your ancestors and your roots. You have lots to share. 

ANGEL NUMBERS

Confirmation

Have you ever looked at your watch, a clock and the numbers are repeated?

Maybe it’s 3:33, 4:44, 11:11 or others.  Repeating numbers are among the most recognisable symbols of the Universe that are speaking directly to you.

Once you start to notice an angel number, it becomes difficult to ignore, whether it be the building number 1111 or a receipt for $3.33 from the petrol station.  

Each pattern of numbers has its own individual message and energy, but overall, numbers are signs of synchronicity and alignment in your life.

They tend to show up as confirmation that you are not imagining the signs you are picking up all around you.

Trust you are on the right path.

There are many different instances in which angel numbers can speak to you, including the time on the clock, license plate numbers, phone numbers and more.

Listen to your intuition, as you could be receiving critical guidance about the road ahead.  

The Universe is guiding and supporting you in your journey, and the synchronicities are a constant reminder.

Trust that you are exactly where you need to be.
