Simple Abundance, Post Full Moon and Valentines Day!

Happy Marvellous, Magickal, Mysterious, Magnetic, Mesmerising, Melodious, Mellow, Manifesting Monday! How was the lovely Full Moon for you? I have heard from quite a few of you that you experienced big releases, and delicious heart openings which are awesome. I took some time that day for ritual and then spell casting in the evening (yes I did say spell casting). It was a glorious spell for Joy activation that is best performed under the Full Moon, so I most certainly did it and it felt marvelous (and my home smelled divine). I went to the beach as the sky was crystal clear and hung out with the waves, the moon and listened to that delicious sound that the waves make as they tickle the underside of the rocks. I also took all my crystals outside to get a divine moon bath!

I have had quite a few emails asking if the Imbolc reading special is still available. You bet, until the morning of the 14th (Friday).

Since the beginning of January I have been working with a book called “Simple Abundance”. What is interesting is that I had this book 18 years ago and it didn’t resonate for me at all – so I gave it away. However, now it does (gotta love how books know when you are ready for them.)

One of the things that I’ve been playing with this last week is seeking out the Sublime in the Ordinary. We all have days where we are ruled by our “to do” list and there are the mundane chores that need attending to, so to keep our daily rounds from being all drudgery, we’ve got to savour the art of the small: discovering diminutive delights that bring us joy, peace and pleasure. For example, when I have to cook dinner, instead of multi-tasking on the phone, listening to the radio and getting frustrated with the veg I need to chop. I have been embracing being present and having fun with the food creation and infusing it with love. When I feel bent out of shape that we have had days upon days of rain, I pull on my rain pants and wellies and hop with delight in every puddle I see! I bought a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and have them on the mantelpiece, and I bought a bunch of primulas and popped them into my pots so I see them every time I leave or come home. Simple things that make my smile and give me joy.

In doing this we really seize the essence of life. Embracing every moment. As Margaret Collier Graham wrote in 1906 – “People need joy quite as much as clothing. Some of them need it far more.” So what are some of the joyful simplicities you can bring into your life?

On Friday we have Valentine’s Day. Which let’s be honest, has now become a Hallmark celebration thanks to Chaucer in the 14th century), the meaning of love has become about romantic love which can be tough for people if they have lost someone, choose to be single or just want something different. According to legend, Saint Valentine restored sight to the blind daughter of his judge, and he wrote her a letter signed “Your Valentine” as a farewell before his execution. The Feast of Saint Valentine was established by Pope Gelasius I in AD 496 to be celebrated on February 14 in honour of the Christian martyr, Saint Valentine of Rome, who died on that date in AD 269.

So I’ve perked what I want to do for Valentine’s and how I want to share and spread love to those I know, and those I don’t. Meringues it is! Little wee meringue nests filled with whipped cream and topped with a raspberry and gift them. Why? Because I believe it is important to remind people that they are loved, seen, valued and important, even the people you don’t know that you walk past on the street. So if any of you want to come over and help meringues, please do and if you know how to make tin foil swans – let me know.

When I went to the cards to ask who wanted to come and guide this week I was tickled when The Oracle of the Dragonfae were adamant. Now if these guides are new to you, please let me introduce you:- These guides are the magickal and mystical that weave through the threads of every day, they are the Dragonfae, Gods and Goddesses who dwelt in dimensional lands….Eden, Avalon, Ys, Atlantis and Mu, they are Morgan, Guenevere, Merlin and others – fully alive and filled with magick! They are the deliciously magickal beings that have always been there, we just forgot, and when we connect with them, we reconnect with the lost parts of ourselves, allowing us to fully explore the gift of life on this beautiful green and blue planet, known by some as Gaia, by others as Dana, and by many other names.

The crystals that wiggled and jiggled to participate are Angel Wing Phantom – Tranquility, Peacock Ore – Happiness/Joy and Mookaite – Nurturing/Decision making. The lovely snowdrops wanted to come participate and are now sitting in a wee vase on my desk.

Okay gorgeous one, let’s take a moment shall we? I invite you to breathe in through your nose and sigh it out through your mouth. Allow your breathing to slow in its own way. And as it does invite into your minds eye the conception of Joy. What does it look like? What does it feel like? If you would like a bit more support there is a lovely guided visualisation for you. THE LADY GRIAN

I am of the Earth and of the Sol-star’s light. I am the opening of the flower, the love that lives in the flower of your heart. I love you, and wish for you to draw this love energy into your being.

I am a power source that you cannot neglect. Because even if you feel you are being of winter, and that your heart has grown cold and hrd in order to ease the pain, I tell you that you are now ready to reveal your own life source and warmth to another being. The love you have to share will be appreciated and returned. More so, this warm and loving heart energy will be its own reward, as you awaken again to your feeling nature. Please open your heart in this moment.

Allow yourself to love. See the beauty in warmth, and smile as often as you can. Bring forth your joy, and see the opening of others’ hearts. Wear yellow, red and gold: all the colours of my friend, the Sun, and you will feel a great flow of energy awakening throughout your body and energetic being. Please see that the seeds you planted need warm earth in which to grow. Yes, they can survive when it is cold, but they cannot thrive.

So be warm, extend your energy, and know that your truly radiant self will create great opportunity and abundance around you. Simply extend some heart energy, and I will support you and love you until you are the radiance of the Sun incarnated in your own form.

CHUMARA

Beyond the mask we all wear of identity, beyond the construct of who we have been conditioned to believe we are lies your face, your self. This face is tender and new in so many ways, as you have not shown her to the world before. This face has been protected because the world has seemed and proved indeed at times to be a dangerous and unkind place, where those of us who feel different are proved to be so as we brave the taunts and finger pointing. But I now tell you that your protections, your armour and your shield can be removed safely with me. Do not discard her, as you may need her yet in certain situations. But know now she is your armour and her role is to protect your true being.

To you, I now reveal myself. See? Many have recoiled in horror at who I truly am. I’m a Dragonfae Maiden, a Spider Woman, a being of webs and change and destruction, and re-creation. Each day I must remake my world….I feel along its sensory threads to see what needs reconstruction and what needs to be let go of. For I am, as you are, part of the new web of life – a web of life that embraces our differences and yet understands that we are one.

I ask you today to look at the webs in your life that must be remade and rewoven….. Remove your mask that says “I am this,” and know you are that, but also so much much more.

HIDEKI’S DOOR

I know you wish to reach out, and yet you hold back. I know you feel drawn to knock on this door and to see whether it will be answered this time…and yet you fear so much. You fear that it will not be answered…that the answer or the face that appears beyond the door will not be to your liking…that if you enter, you may never return… I cannot put your fears to rest, for only you can do that. But I can tell you what I see. I see a spirit whose flame has flickered low,, whose light is in danger of going out if it does not take the next step. For years you have passed this door and many times you have found yourself here. You may even have knocked at the door, only to flee, like a terrified child, before the door was opened to you.

I say to you now: it is time. Reach out. Knock at the door. And let what will be, be.

Nervous about a new chance…feeling as though your comfort zone is far better than the unknown; longing to travel and to change, yet unwilling to do anything about it; procrastinations and old habits keeping you from reaching out and accepting what is being offered. You are ready…it is simply nerves that are holding you back, conditioned fears and internalised voices from the past. Reach out…take a hold of the handle and be ready for the wonder of the unknown that lies beyond the door. The doors of perception are about to change…forever.

Imbolc, February Energy Shift, Full Moon in Leo, And a Reading Special!!

Happy Magnificent, Magickal, Meditative, Mind-Blowing, Meritorious, Musical, Motivational, Mesmerising, Manifesting Monday! (How was that for alliteration?) How are you delicious lovely? So much to share with you this week with Imbolc (we will get into that), February Energy Shift, a Full Moon in Leo happening and you asked and I listened!

So grab a cuppa and let’s natter, yes?

Okay Imbolc was yesterday. Now you may be scratching your head and thinking to yourself – what the heck did she say? Imbolc (yes it does sound like it’s looks). Imbolc is a Celtic fire festival celebrating the emerging life in the world around us as well as the Goddess Brigid who represents the fire of creativity, the protective hearth fire and her firewheel all of which cleanse and purify. Imbolc is a celebration, because for those of us in the mid winter it promises us emergence, growth, renewal and hope and massive cleansing and purification. Imbolc is the halfway point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox and occured on February 1st/2nd.

Okay Jenn, what’s that got to do with me?

Well whether you realise it or not your body is connected to the seasons, to the energy underneath you, around you, above you and in you. Imbolc is one of the seasonal changes on the Wheel of the Year. However, the Wheel of the Year is more than just the seasonal changes from spring to summer to fall to winter. It also encompasses the 8 holidays, or sabbats. Each of these holidays has its own energy and its own place in the cycle that influences. Imbolc brings us the burgeoning Spring energy that feels like a whisper or a possible promise, it’s the gestation time. The time to get clear on what you want to create or bring into your life. If you want to go deeper and explore some rituals and more information on Imbolc, come on over!

Also, quite a few of you have emailed and messaged me saying you missed out on the Winter Solstice reading special and was there going to be another one? Yes! In honour of this gestation time there is an Imbolc Reading Special from today until Valentines, with 3 new Readings added as well! Yes? Thus, it will run for 12 days, but as the spots fill up the special will become unavailable. And don’t forget, you can gift these to others, which a few of you have done! (Which I think is superb!)

Okay, onwards and upwards. We also have another energy shift on a Shamanic level and the energy for this month is “Management”. And of course the best person to explain it is Lena! We initiated the year with two eclipses stirring the pot of intensity creating numerous opportunities to crack open the potential for growth, expansion, new ideas, and intentions. The energy has been forward moving, barely allowing us to catch up with ourselves enough to sift through the bounty and put it all in order. We are faced with the danger of falling back on what we know, where we are comfortable, putting all our energy into what is familiar rather into something new that has landed in our field.

Management as a theme for this month covers management of your inner life as well as the management of your outer life. Management is a responsibility for what you do now with your new-found inspiration even if you see a challenging road ahead. There will always be an aspect of inner management as well as one of outer management. Inner management has to do with lessons learned and the discipline to change belief systems, patterns and perceptions that only you can change. Outer management has to do with the practices, habits and behaviors that come from those belief systems, patterns and perceptions.

Last but not least we have a glorious Full Moon in Leo on either the 8th or 9th (depending on where you are!)

This is a delicious Full Moon and the second one for 2020. The February Full Moon falls on the 8th or 9th of the month, depending on your time zone. It rests in the sign of Leo, and its energy comes to tend to the fire that lives within our hearts. It comes to clear away all that dims our light and separates us from feeling connected to our journey.

“Leo is ruled by the Sun, so whenever we have a Full Moon in the sign of the Sun, it’s extra special. When Leo holds space for the Full Moon, it’s like a ray of light shining down on all that feels dark and heavy in our lives. Leo is a fire sign that reminds us to connect with all that lights us up. It reminds us to connect with our inner fire, with our inner Sun, and to remember that life is for experiencing rather than controlling.

What sets your soul on fire? What fans your inner flame? What brings you a sense of purpose as you move through the experiences of life? These are some of the questions the February Full Moon poses for us. It wants us to connect with these questions so we can work on clearing away all separates us from feeling present and at peace with our lives.”

Wow! So with our gestation time of Imbolc we are asked to figure out what lights us up and get clear. The theme of Management invites us not to fall back into the comfort zone and the Full Moon reminds us yet again to find that fire that resides in us and get clear about it. Are you willing?

When I went to the cards and asked who wanted to support and guide this week, the glorious Faery Forest Oracle were most adamant. I was tickled as yesterday I went exploring the woods, hung out with the trees and just noticed all the little random daffs and crocus that are pushing their way up with vigour!

Now, if these guides are new to you, please let me introduce them (as it’s rude not to):- “Let us enter the wild green world together, friend, the faery forests where the great trees speak with us, the moss soft underfoot, the light pure and gentle. May the wild green world and the wondrous beings of this Faery Forest heal us, inspire us and urge us all to become more who we truly are meant to be.” Lovely!

You ready? I invite you to just BE and BREATHE (please don’t tell me you don’t have time, as you do). Allow any heaviness to gently drop to the ground as you breathe long, slow and deep. Let it become cosmic compost to feed and nurture something new. Keep breathing this way and think about the seeds you want to sow in the Springtime, what are they? ISA

Winter has descended upon the Faery Forest. You have ceased struggling and fighting to change what is outside of yourself. Because you have relinquished the battle, you have won the war within yourself. You are now suspending activity and being in the moment. Through this stillness and inner consciousness, you are beginning to understand so much of where you have been and where you will go – and because you are fully in the present and allowing, you can also come to a deeper, more peaceful understanding of what it is you want, value, and desire.

This is a moment of complete stillness and simply be-ing: a long moment where you are completely present. You are as still as a chrysalis, hanging seemingly static from a branch, fragile and mysterious. Like the chrysalis, you will “do” nothing – nothing at all, except become yourself. Your transformation is being worked invisibly, on the inside, and when the time is right, you will share it with the world.

In a situation where you seem to have no control, no power, you are learning the most valuable form of power there is – self mastery. You pause with dignity and strength, and simply by doing this you create the right conditions for the right change.

This time will ultimately bring great peace, wisdom, and choices that enrich your life, others lives, and the healing of the world.

THE GREEN MAN

Not so long ago, all was quiet, dark, and cold…..but something has changed, and it will manifest into your world in significant ways – through you, and all around you. This is a time of renewal, a time of new beginnings and connections for you. Your energy will be extending itself easily, and you will fall in love with the new world you are creating. This is a time for you to actively pursue what it is you wish to create in your life and to acknowledge the presence of the powerful new energies all about you.

Each day will bring these changes, and it is as if life force itself is surging through you, and every cell radiates this bright, strong, fierce new energy.

To be effective, this energy must be directed – not tamed, but given places to flow into – and thus you must choose and shape the energies you are experiencing. Nature and its energies shall pour through you and it is necessary for you to quickly begin to shape these forces in meaningful ways.

Pause, Play and Welcome to the Year of the Golden Rat!

Happy Miraculous, Meaningful, Melody Making, Magnificent, Marvelous, Majestic, Manifesting Monday! How was your New Moon? Did you celebrate the wonderful Lunar New Year where we now enter the Year of the Golden Rat! Whoot! I am so excited, as Rat energy is good for my animal!

I went and bought a huge box of the cutest little tangerines with stalks and leaves on them. Picked up 30 red envelopes from the Chinese grocery store downtown and then filled them with 2 loonies each (as you always have to work with an even number). I then spent a good chunk of the day delivering them to family, friends, neighbours and even random people lol, a little red envelope with money in it and oranges. A sceptic friend pointed out that I wasn’t Chinese; so why bother? Because it’s fun! Because it’s wishing others good fortune and a great Lunar New Year, because it makes me smile, laugh and raises my vibration to share, gift and PLAY! (Note that word as we are going to do a little exploring this week, yes?)

Last year one of the phrases I kept hearing was “I’m so busy,” No shit! Everyone is. We live in a society where we are more connected by technology than ever and like Pavlov’s dogs we jump when the cell phone goes off or there is a “bing” as the 90th email of the day comes flooding into our inbox. We rush from this event to that event and then collapse into bed at night clutching the medal of “Being Busy and Overwhelm” to our chests as we check our phones one last time before drifting off into an exhausted sleep. Then as the alarm goes off in the morning we reach for our phones to quickly scroll through social media. Seriously?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not judging, I’m just observing and speaking as someone who has done that.

But what if there was a better way? What if you gifted yourself with the time to Pause and Play? When I suggested that to someone a few weeks ago they looked at me askance and said “Jenn, I don’t have time for that and there is no purpose.” Ahhhh, grasshopper that’s where you are wrong. Taking time daily to PAUSE, to just BE, to not be doing, lowers your heart rate, calms your adrenal system, soothes the mind (eventually) and more importantly it allows space for your wise self to share with you, to be heard. Now I’m not talking hours, or even half an hour – unless you want to. I’m talking 10 minutes perhaps. It could be sitting on your front porch with a cuppa tea. It could be perched on a log in the woods, it could be curled up on your sofa looking out of the open curtains at the night sky. It’s that time where you gift yourself a bit of space and listen. Think about it, when you listen to great music, there is a pause – yes? When you read a book, there are pauses between the paragraphs and chapters – yes? When you take that deep soothing breath in, then hold for a few seconds prior to exhale – it’s the place of the pause. The place of playing in the infinite field of possibilities is in the pause.

Now let’s look at the PLAY aspect.

Have you ever walked down the street with a small child? They jump in the puddles, are fully engrossed with the worm they have found and notice the most random things that we, as adults, blow past – as we are busy, right? They are in the moment. They are playing and radiate joy like massive sun beams! If you’ve ever owned a dog and taken them out for a frolic, they are a fabulous teacher for being in the moment and playing full out. There’s a stick, there’s a ball, there’s someone to run with, what’s that smell, chase that bird, roll in that deliciously stinky thing, chew on a log. They aren’t worried about the future, they aren’t moaning about the past they just are! Now I’m not saying be a dog or act like a small child, but I am saying do something every day that brings you Joy, feels fun and makes you feel good! Why? Because it gives you a glorious release of dopamine which is great for your brain, it makes you smile, which causes the people around you to smile (or think you have lost your mind), boosts your immune system, rejuvenates and replenishes you and raises your vibration to attract to you more of what you WANT!

An example, I love to dance. I will dance in the kitchen when I’m cooking and now when I take the doggo out for a late night walk I have great soundtrack on and I dance for about 3 km. Does it make me laugh, heck yes. Does it feel good, heck yes. Do I look daft, oh gosh yes! But who cares. Whatever it is that makes you smile, laugh and have fun – do it every day and watch what happens.

I had a friend visit on the weekend who had bypassed her inner wise wisdom due to “feeling busy and overwhelmed” and was in a challenging head space, dealing with some life blips and quite fragmented. So after listening, making sure she was fed I invited her to come for a yomp with me. “I’ve so much to do, I don’t know……blah, blah, blah.” But she trusts me enough to know that when I suggest something to at least try it out. So off we went, I pointed out the eagles, the rainbow, the hummingbird, cracked jokes, danced next to her and I had even brought chalk! So we made some lovely pictures on the walkway and her shoulders started to drop down and there were smiles galore. I chased a peacock trying to get it to gift me a tail feather and she laughed her soxs off. We sat on a driftwood log embracing the sun and the waves flooding in. By the time we got back to the house (a whole 30 minutes!) Her mood, her vibration where deliciously high and she was laughing. Also, in that time we had nattered about creative solutions to the blips she was facing and because she was in the energy of fun and play she could hear them!

So I have an invitation for you. Are you willing to gift yourself with 5 minutes minimum of just BEING and breathing and doing one thing every day that makes you laugh and is fun? What have you got to lose?

I’ve been playing with this practice for a month now and have to say it drags me out of the blaugh, and I feel fabulous. It also brings up creative solutions, my intuition is higher and more importantly I am laughing daily (even if it is at myself lol).

Okay, enough chuntering on – but I’m serious about the invitation. Try it for 21 days and see what changes for you, for those around you and more importantly watch how delicious you feel!

So sweet pea, just breathe yourself back into your body. One slow deep breath, then exhale after another. Allow yourself to bring to mind what does the pause and the play look like for you, what do you want it to look like? As you breathe that idea into your being, just notice it, let it play in your minds eye.

Then when you are ready, pick the card or cards that whisper, tug or invite you in.

ORBS OF LIGHT

The spiritual worlds are delivering a message to you. You may have already heard it, through telepathic reception, and mistaken it for your own thought. Yet it is inspired by your higher guidance, those spiritual beings that love you without condition. It is an answer to a question and guidance to increase your happiness.

It is possible to pray without realising it. The Universe is lovingly listening to every thought and feeling in your heart and mind. When you intentionally speak to the Universe and ask your higher guidance to help you with an issue, this is a powerful way to call the light into your life. It works. Often quite rapidly! However, sometimes we ask for help without being so aware of doing so. Worrying about an issue or pondering a question are ways this happens.

There are orbs of light around you. They are spiritual beings that love you. These orbs contain information and energies that help answer questions – and worries – through the intelligence and love of the higher spiritual worlds. That information might come through a song, a phrase, a feeling or a colour or symbol that unlocks awareness in the deeper recesses of your mind and body.

INITIATION BY WATER

Situations have been rising in your world that evoke emotional reactions and challenge your opinions and beliefs. You may not feel in control. You may feel like your world, your own emotions, have become like a stormy sea in which you are tossed about – and you are doing your best not to drown in the chaos. Yet you are not to fear it. It is stirring that which has been held within so it can be released. The storm will pass and the waters of your emotions shall become more serene.

You could compare the process to a glass of water with muddy sediment at the bottom. The water appear clear as the mud is left to lie. Yet once that water gets stirred up, the mud rises. Then it can be filtered out, and the water will be clearer than ever before. The turbulence was a step that led to greater clarity.

The waters in the glass are comparable to your emotional waters. And the fixed opinions, beliefs or long-held emotional patterns based on unresolved past pain are the sediment at the bottom of the glass. Hold the glass up to the light. Can the light shine through the sediment? No. But it can be seen through the clear water. Remove the sediment, and the water will be clear enough to allow light to shine through without obstruction or distortion. The light is the light of Spirit, of higher truths, unconditional love, of peace, wisdom and joy.

UNPLUG FROM MASS CONSCIOUSNESS

There is a belief system based on fear, doubt and distrust this is known as “mass consciousness”. It says it is safer to stay with the crowd, not to question what you have been taught. It says you can’t trust the Divine to take care of your financial well being or your emotional needs. It says you should be afraid and not take risks. Its says that if you dare to stand up and live your truth, you’ll be lost and alone, humiliated, rejected or even destroyed.

You are being guided to unplug from that systems of beliefs. You are capable of a more creative, loving and soul-satisfying way of living. To access this, let go of the way that is too small for your soul!

You are brave and aware enough to think outside the box, beyond what society or your peers may consider ‘normal’. You are supposed to be questioning things right now. You are in a transition from one way of thinking to another, opening up to a new world which you can trust enough to live with peace and happiness because of the upgraded new beliefs you are cultivating.

No matter how others may resist or criticise your choices (perhaps your new ideas take you away from the world they feel comfortable in), your higher guidance encourages you to keep opening your mind to a more loving, higher reality.

Sometimes breaking from the accepted norm, doing things differently or being considered weird to family, colleagues and friends is a sign that you are breaking away from the consciousness of the masses, which is not compatible with your own higher frequency consciousness.

So keep unplugging yourself, one layer, thought, word and deed at a time, from that which the mass consciousness would have you buy into – more stuff, more fear, more competition, more doubt and more suffering. You can challenge any thoughts you don’t want to have. Free yourself. You have the power to change your world and the world we live in as a result, on liberating thought at a time.

You Are Not Alone! (Even in the Shower.) Post Full Moon Eclipse.

Happy Magickal, Miraculous, Manifesting, Melodious, Mischievous, Magnificent, Marvelous Monday! It was the glorious Full Moon Eclipse on Friday and how was that for you? Did you feel twitchy, weepy or overwhelmed? I ask as a lot of people shared with me that they most certainly did.

I have to say it rather blew my hair back as I noticed during the week all sorts of pieces and thoughts were coming up and I was pissed! I don’t mean a gentle – hour or so of being grumpy, I mean a full on anger that lasted 4 days!!! (Which I found super challenging as I am not normally an angry person!) I was so out of alignment with myself and my connection to the Divine. I was literally swimming around in a massive negative head space and everything made me angry. Including the weather! I felt horrendously alone!

It was so overwhelming and bizarre and wasn’t directed at something or someone – it was just there and I could feel myself wanting to “squirt sideways”. Which as I know is never a good plan; and what was even more strange was that I had forgotten where I put my virtual toolbox. Thus, I did my best to keep myself to myself, avoid situations or people that I might possibly explode on which only enhanced the feeling of being alone, separateness and abandonment. Then the day after the eclipse I listened to the very faint whispers of Spirit and followed what they told me to do and lo and behold my virtual toolbox reappeared and I have spent the last couple of days playing with all of the tools, and happy to say – there are no dead bodies in the freezer! Which is a fabulous thing as the freezer is small and I don’t own a chainsaw! I’ve remembered how to pivot, how to release and how to come back to the present with joy. And that sense of separateness is gone. Thank goodness!

On Sunday I heard a fabulous article on the news about how people are creating nests, wraps and pockets for the baby animals that have been orphaned and made homeless in Australia.

The fires have killed an estimated 500 million animals in Australia since October, according to an Associated Press report. Twenty-five people are dead, nearly 1,900 homes destroyed, more than 100,000 people have been forced to leave their homes and more than 12.5 million hectares of bushland have burned. This is huge!!!!

We often think of the people, the homes etc. But how often do we think about the animals? So groups all across the globe are getting together and knitting nests, sewing pockets for baby kangaroos and ensuring that all these glorious little animals have a safe place to recoup in. I have to say it made my heart warm it really did. Knitters around the world are hand making pouches, nests and mittens for animals affected by the fires, from kangaroos and koalas to wombats and wallabies.

Now this got my mind to perking. Knitting is taking a single strand of yarn and looping it, with the various stitches, which meld together to create something warm and cosy. Sewing is taking two pieces of fabric and gently massaging them into place and joining them with strong stitches to make something functional, beautiful or useful. Carpentry is taking wood and with the use of a nail gun or screws, putting it all together to create something solid and large. All of these modalities are joining something to make something bigger, stronger, cosier, more colourful.

Which reminded me that we are all joined. It’s in sharing our gifts (as people are doing for the animals) that we become part of the whole. It’s the willingness to be vulnerable and open about the joys and challenges that one is experiencing, because in the sharing it allows others to speak to their experiences. It’s offering a hand, no matter how busy we are, or being willing to ask for a hand when we really need it. It’s the breathing into the space that as I take a breath and look up at the moon, someone somewhere else is doing the same thing. We are stronger together and as a community.

So with that thought burbling in my mind when I went to the cards and asked who wanted to guide this week I burst out laughing when I saw. The Earth Warriors Oracle were adamant, there was no competition! Now if these guides are new to you, please let me introduce you:-

There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above water. And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate. At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt. The time for the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word “struggle” from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”

Positively perfect for the energy this week. The crystals that wiggled and jiggled are:- Moonstone, Citrine and Moonstone! Oh yes, and glorious peacock feathers that I was gifted this week!

So let’s take a moment to just settle, just BE and please gift yourself with a moment of space. If Not Now, When? If Not You, Who? New Year and New Decade – are you Willing to Show Up and Shine?

Whoot! Happy New Year and Happy Monday. Do you realise this is the first Magickal, Marvelous, Magnificent Monday of the New Decade and the New Year!! And trust me there is so much to natter about and share this week! So grab a tea and get ready………

But first, how was your holiday season? Tell me you laughed lots, didn’t take on too much and that your credit card feels healthy, yes? Personally, I had a very different but amazing holiday season. On Xmas Eve I went and prepped a shed ton of veggies (and I’m talking in the 100’s of lbs level), then Xmas Day I was so honoured to set up and serve people who are experiencing challenges. It was amazing, the conversations, the laughter, the stories – I was so blown away and it made me feel humble. Especially when one chappie in his 40’s shared with me that the smells and taste of the food reminded him of his grandmothers home and that the dinner had made him feel that he had community and family.

Thus, we did our family Xmas on Boxing Day and it was fun and relaxed, play time in the morning, a little break, gorgeous dinner with friends and family and a ridonculous game! So good. I had gifted myself with time to just BE and reflect, rejuvenate, refresh from Boxing Day until today – but it was fascinating to see that as I resisted that quiet time on the very first day! The Universe very kindly handed me a corker of a cold, and the weather turned into torrential rain and wind storms! But all good. So many gifts in being quiet and really just Being. So much so that on New Years Eve I turned down a wonderful gathering to have a date with myself. I bought flowers, the food I wanted to eat, the beverages I wanted to drink, cleaned the house, lit the fire and wow! Then wrote, and had massive downloads, which have tied into something I have been creating for a year. Very cool.

So here we are in the first week of 2020 and what is in play? Well we have a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn on the 10th, which is all about nurturing yourself and others and finding that balance. Now if you aren’t aware Capricorn and Saturn are huge players this year. Capricorn is all about ambition, work, climbing higher, doing what you say you will. Saturn is known as The Lord of Karma – so expect karmic awakening. Then we have Uranus going direct right before the eclipse and Uranus is all about freedom, waking you up. Sounds great doesn’t it, but what does it all mean?

I would never say that I’m an Astrologer, I have a good understanding, but I certainly don’t understand it all. But as Kari shares this year is all about Building Your Dreams Step by Step from the ground up, with an appreciation that sometimes we have to tear down a structure to rebuild. Then if we look at the Shamanic energy from Lena, the energy of the month is, IF NOT NOW, WHEN?

So let me ask, did you make New Year’s Resolutions? What were they? I will be honest, I gave up that practice about 14 years ago for many reasons and I work with WOTY (Word of the Year). My word for this year is “EXPANSIVE”, and even as I say it, my chest opens, my arms move back and my heart shines! If this is a new concept for you, let me help you with why Word of the Year works!

Without getting on a political soapbox all we have to do is look around as to what is happening in the first week of the New Decade and Year. The Iran issue, the fires in Australia – so much challenge! This is not the time to dither or question if you have the skills, enough training, what will people think or any of that. This is the time to get super clear with yourself embrace all your gifts both dark and light and LEAP into sharing them. There is a part of you that knows, your essence, your light, your soul; it knows why you are here and the gifts that make you who you are.

As we enter into this New Decade with the calls inviting us to play a bigger game, I knew there was a deck that I was meant to take home. So I looked online, I talked to people and – nope, nadda resonated. Thus, the other week in the torrential rain (when most people would stay home, especially those who are coughing and sneezing everywhere), I found myself in Fantan Alley. Tucked down this virtually shoulder width brick alley is a little store that called me. I walked in and asked what cards they carried. I looked at them all and again – nope, nadda. As I started to walk away a deck dropped at my feet. I normally spend huge time exploring a deck before I am willing to bring it home, this time was a heck yes immediately.

As I went to pay for my deck, the woman looked a tad puzzled and advised me the deck had only come in that morning and there was only this one copy. Purrrrrrrfffffeeeccctttt! Gotta love how Spirit works. Then when I brought them home and opened them up to cleanse, bless and consecrate them I laughed so hard. A wolf! The back of the cards was a wolf and my gorgeous sister Fi loved wolves. In fact for one of her birthdays she went to a wolf sanctuary and learned all about them. And could howl like a glorious wolf with ease.
