July is Here and it’s time for Revisioning, Revising and Resetting.

Hello most gorgeous lovely – Happy Magickal, Miraculous, Moodling, Merry, Magnificent, Manifesting Monday! The first Monday of July!!

Can you believe we are in July already? Holy Hannah! How was your Lunar Eclipse (and Independence Day if in the US?) I found the eclipse very freeing and energising. Danu the therapy doggo did as well as we had to go walk under the full moon at least 4 times throughout the night!

But it got me thinking about my WOTY (Word of the Year) that I set at the beginning of January. For a wee bit, to be honest, I couldn’t even remember what it was! Then at the 3am perambulation under the gorgeous Full Moon my word came back to me on the breeze. EXPANSIVE. Ahhhh, yes. I then went back and reviewed the post from the beginning of January where I shared this with you – and the call to all of us to play a bigger game, a different game was there then! (Gotta love how this all works). Did you have a WOTY?

Does it still fit for you, or do you feel that you would like to change it?

The reason I ask is the energy for July is all about “REVISIONING, REVISING, RESETTING.”

So what better time to revisit your WOTY and see if it still fits for you and resonates…….

As Lena shares about this July energy:- “We could also say the month is about adjustment, flexibility, and adapting. The main focus in this rather ordinal month is to do what is in front of you and needs to be done in order to move on. Whether this is forgiving your emotional past, letting go of old dreams, trusting your vision for the future, weeding your yard, cleaning your fridge, adjusting to a new landscape, simplifying your life, or simply being in the flow of what is showing up (or not showing up), the task is to stay present and to be inspired by the simple daily accomplishments instead of being in resistance to the larger rather uninspired energy influencing the first part of the month.

This is a collaborative month where cooperation and the sharing of tasks and ideas goes a long way. We are certainly ready for more communal efforts as we move forward in this process of change. Although we are thick into the process of transformation, we are still in the birth canal and will be for some time. As we are still in the dark, the unknown future can be either terrifying or exciting as we contemplate “what could be”. The proactive attitude is adopting the belief and reminding ourselves that we create our own reality, and as highly creative beings on this planet, we can create a future that we wish to see, experience and love.

In order to revise, revise or reset anything, you need to first see what needs it. What needs it will be something in your life that does not work, flow, or support you. The first step is to acknowledge these aspects from a neutral place of acceptance without judgment or blame. The second step is to commit to eliminating, forgiving, and releasing what no longer serves. The third step is to welcome the void and get comfortable in the not knowing by practicing presence and flexibility. Only now are you ready to re-vision, revise, and reset.”

So at this pivotal moment (half way through the year), what do you feel needs to be Revisioned, Revised and Reset for yourself? It could be absolutely anything! If not now – when?

When I went to the glorious cards and asked who wanted to guide and support you this week I was delighted to see The Oracle of the Shapeshifters. As we are all shapeshifting in some shape or form right now.

The gorgeous crystals that most certainly wiggled and jiggled are Blue Apatite – Blue Apatite is a deeply spiritual stone with a cleansing influence on the aura, especially in the mental body – the vibratory level associated with psychic perception and paranormal abilities. Moonstone – supports the heart as it stimulates the mind, soothing worry or anxiety, and bringing out the best in people. Its loving energy promotes the Divine in all situations. Last but not least, Chrysocolla – is a stone of empowerment of the feminine energies, teaching that genuine power is best expressed through gentleness. It is the stone of forgiveness, peace, and the strengthening of emotional bonds. It encourages compassion, and helps us recover our natural spontaneity. And of course a Selenite wand for amplification. Oh yes and gorgeous Lavitaria blossoms (which are now floating in a crystal bowl on my desk).

LITTLE OWLYN

Wisdom is not heavy, harsh, or cruelly given. Wisdom is as simple as being open and ready to receive – and if you are ready, if you have decided that you are worthy and willing to learn, this great horned owl, my other self, wishes for me to give you a feather.

This feather is a talisman of magick, of wisdom that endures and can be applied again and again. Its power and wisdom will never run dry or fail to speak words of wisdom to you when you hold it in your mind’s eye. The tide will go in and out, but this featherlight piece of wisdom remains with the golden sun, and this wisdom will never fade or grow into a heavy burden, as some knowledge does.

You will wonder what to do at times, because things have changed. But this soft wisdom will speak to you again, and you will find your way. Wisdom is not heavy, crushing, or forceful. This is the truth – this wisdom is soft, light, and to be treasured. It is our gift to you now. Stay still. Give us your hand. And feel the gift that we wish to share with you. Feel the wisdom flow into you. Ahhhhh, lightness.

You will be able now to see more clearly, even when there is no light around you. Night will hold no fears for you. You will hear clearly what people are truly saying when they are speaking with you – their words’ true meanings will be utterly apparent immediately. You will be able to move suddenly and grasp your fate quickly when this helpful being comes to share your life – she is both faery and owl, a shapeshifter in form, and as swift and clear as the rain.

BROTHER RACCOON

Raccoons speak of stealth, remaining undercover, and flying under the radar. Raccoons suggest you take cover, work with camouflage, and stay in the in-between places for a time in order to remain safe. Do not reveal who you are, what you do, or your new idea or project to all. Too often we share what we are planning out loud, giving all, even ourselves, the impression it is already done. It is not.

It needs careful protection, but mostly you need to not draw attention. It does not mean you have to be furtive or sneaky, though some will call it so. It means to quietly get on with your day-to-day and the very soulful business of change without showing everyone every detail along the way. You have far to go – at this early stage it is not advisable to share all. There is a sacred part of you that must be protected, for it could easily be exhausted and exploited by those who will be very quick – even quicker than you – to recognise the value of what you have.

In order to survive, sometimes you must hide, camouflage, or mask yourself from those who would know our true nature and exploit you. Like a precious plant when snow falls, you must go underground, huddle in your seed, and keep quiet and safe from those who would take you and cultivate you and your amazing self for their own reasons. This is not a time to allow yourself to be used by others for their own agendas. Do not think of this hiding or melting into the forest as cowardice; it is wise to go to ground for a time now. In order for you, your ancestry, your bloodline, and anything cherished and rare to live on, you sometimes must hide it away for a time, bringing it forward later so that you flourish.

ORCA MAGICK

Orcas are the brilliant, physical, living reservoirs of Earth and galactic history. They are the carriers of wizards on their backs, according to Norse myth, meaning they carry the great sage lines of transformation and transmutation, and can pass this lore along. They hold this history in the patterns of their ancient songs.

One day we will translate the songs and understand our own past times. Their bodies, those huge, resonating cavities, store the history of the planet herself. They travel the world’s oceans, singing, clearing, and awakening the energy grid again and again, preserving, reviving, renewing ancestral lines that need to be in place for this planet to be whole and well, now and in the future.

September is here and the energy has changed. Full Moon in Pisces and Fall Equinox is coming!

Happy Melodious, Musical, Magickal, Miraculous, Magnetic, Majestic, Manifesting Monday! September is here and how the heck are you? We had a long weekend at the very beginning of this month (hence no reading) as I needed to play. So I went to the Fall Faire here (and pet sheep, love sheep). Hiked a new to me hike, had a glorious, massive fun family dinner (including egg toss games and write a story), then went and danced my soxs off at the Blues Festival down on the harbour. Phew! How was your weekend? (By the way sweetie, grab a cuppa and settle in as we have a lot to go over).

I love September (I know for some that sounds weird), but I love the impending Fall, it’s a time of harvest, a gathering together. The mornings are crisper, the days are still warm, but there is that sense of change. Kids are going back to school, starting a new class and making new friends. University starts again and all sorts of courses such as drumming, music, spanish and a myriad of other are offered up. The lazy, hazy days of summer are winding down and there is a shift in the energy that invites us to try something new (even if you aren’t school age) and to be willing to release the old that may be a tad too tight (like a kids running shoes).

There is also a sense of melancholy for some people when Fall starts to whisper with her crisp breathe. The leaves are going to change and then drop from the tree and the days are most certainly getting shorter – and for some this can feel uncomfortable and lonely. Which I can totally appreciate. But it doesn’t need to……

Fall Equinox is almost here (and I love this celebration). It is known as Mabon and is the second harvest, the fruit harvest, late July we celebrated the first harvest festival which was Lammas. This festival is a time to look at the seeds that you sowed in the Spring, on every level, and reflect on how they have manifested. Most crops are in and the fields are beginning to look brown and are slowly going to sleep for the winter (unless they are filled with gorgeous orange pumpkins). This is a time to celebrate the abundance and the harvest, as well as to make plans for the winter and to create community. But we will explore that more over the next couple of weeks.

The energy of September (according to the ever amazing Lena), is COMMITMENT! (Gulp!) Remember in June it was ADAPTING, July was FRICTION, August was DISCOVERY and now we have COMMITMENT! Whoot! Whoot!

As Lena shares:- “What is commitment? Commitment is making a choice to move ahead with a plan of action or intention without giving yourself a back door. Commitment is getting off the fence about something and making a decision that you then stick to. Commitment is finally taking that step of no return towards something you have only been dreaming of. Commitment requires eliminating the safety net of “I’ll do it if”, or “I’ll do it when”, and moving through the fear that holds you in the state of ambivalence, confusion and feeling stuck.

There is a saying, “action cures fear” and this is certainly true as a way to move forward and take advantage of the dynamic energy that comes available this month. Commitment engages the will and the masculine part of ourselves. Resistance to embracing your “will” and trusting the masculine can lead to lethargy, apathy, confusion and your energy not moving. “Will” should be aggressive in a positive way. Aggression should be used proactively as a support to move you beyond your fear and resistance and towards how and what you wish to manifest.

Commitment opens the channel to support. The universe will deliver on commitment as it is always a sign that you are willing to eliminate the back (and side) doors on your choices. How you ask is also important. It should never be a question but always a statement delivered with certainty.”

So what are you willing to Commit to? It doesn’t have to be massive if that is too big a stretch, what are a couple of easy things that you can commit to doing this month? Is there something you have always wanted to try, to pursue or to play with but vied away due to fear? My invitation to you, delicious lovely, is pick 2 or 3 things – they can be as big or small as you need them to be, but they need to stretch you and expand that comfort zone and then commit to them for 6 – 8 weeks. That’s it, it’s not a lifetime, but play with COMMITMENT to YOU!

For example, I have really been looking at this for the last 5 weeks since my sister died. I most certainly played with the Discovery energy and realised there were many things that I had been “allowing” or “putting up with” and they weren’t the things that nourished me. So they have been released and then there is that delicious vacuum or space inviting you to put something in there.

Thus, I have perked what those are and some that have come up are; dancing, creating with a new medium, community, singing, etc. So guess what? I am going to try out a couple of dance studios in the next 2 weeks and when I find a class I like, I am committed for the length of the class. There is a new Acapella group which I am hopefully going to sing with. I am committed to creating a Grief group so that people who have experienced loss, whether death, having to leave their home, the transition of middle age, loss of job – whatever, people need a place to unpack that and know it’s okay.

As for creativity and community, I have invited people to get together once every 2 weeks as fall happens and through the winter. We spend those evenings creating, learning, chatting and laughing. And guess what? They were pumped that we are doing this (because if you think about it we did this in days of yore, quilting bees, canning sessions – getting together through the shorter days and longer nights to share and create.) Personally, the medium I am going to play with is resin. Never done it, but have multiple magickal ides of what I can create, filled with love, intention and magick. So we shall see.

So let me ask – what are you willing to COMMIT to for you?

The September 13-14th Full Moon falls in the sign of Pisces and holds the potential to be deeply transformative and illuminating. This year the September Full Moon is also referred to as the Harvest Moon, as it is the last Full Moon before the Equinox.

“As the last Full Moon before the seasons change, this our opportunity to “harvest” all we can before we enter into the new season. It is also a time for us to reap the rewards of all we have achieved since the Solstice back in June. Take a moment to think back to this point in the year. Who were you then? Who are you now? What have you learned? How have you changed?

Harvest Moons are always cleansing, so if there is something you no longer wish to take with you into the new season, this is the perfect time to release and let it go. Falling in the watery sign of Pisces, this Full Moon is a sensitive one and may trigger unresolved or unexpressed emotions. We may also feel deeply sensitive and find it hard to not absorb the emotions of the world around us. So a gorgeous time to do some releasing and reviewing. Yes?”

Okay, I have chuntered a ton (not a surprise), so let’s crack on with the reading. When I went to the cards and asked who would like to guide this week, the glorious Faery Forest Oracle were adamant, which made me smile a lot. If this deck is new to you please let me introduce your guides (as that is always polite). “Let us enter the wild green world together, friend, the faery forests where the great trees speak with us, the moss soft underfoot, the light pure and gentle. The homes of the once Sacred groves of the Celts, the Saxons, and the Vikings…and to the people who were here long before we had names with which to call them to us – the faerie people. May the wild green world and the wondrous beings of this Faery Forest heal us, inspire us and urge us all to become more who we truly are meant to be.” Re-read that last line about inspiring and urging us…… totally ties into the energy of Commitment.

The crystals that were insistent to join are:- Lemurian Seed – healing is remembering our spiritual self and that time is an illusion of physical incarnation, showing how to move beyond all that is. Black Snowflake Obsidian – helps to draw emotions to the surface and to examine harmful thought patterns. A good choice for past life work, heals old karmic patterns and helps in examining harmful thought patterns. Chrysocolla – a stone of communication. Its very essence is devoted to expression, empowerment and teaching. The serenity of its turquoise-blue color discharges negative energies, calms, and allows truth and inner wisdom to surface and be heard.

Okay, take a moment and come back to your body. Just breathe yourself back. Allow in your mind’s eye the desires, goals the yearnings to flood up. What are you willing to commit to? SHE WHO LAUGHS

There is within your life now a great heaviness, an earnestness, and a sense of great gravity to nearly every situation unfolding. Yes, this is of great importance, and yes, there are consequences to consider. But it is time for you to receive the healing power of laughter, the power that lifts the darkness and releases energy that is stagnant, cold, and heavy from our energy field, indeed from our limbs and cells and hearts.

For you, this laughter is as necessary as surgery at this moment, as it will shake loose the cords strapping you tightly to burdens you no longer need to carry.

Let the light break through, and laugh – as without laughter, there can be no perspective, without laughter, there can be no movement forward, without laughter, there can be a sense of deep abiding resentment. Lift this!! Let She Who Laughs begin to help you seek out moments, people, and situations that stir the sense of the ridiculousness within you, and let the healing and the release of laughter roll through you and lift away the pain at the centre of your being.

Its time is passing. It will melt away with tears of laughter that fall and cleanse and free you from the past….For now, the sun breaks through, and your eyes shine once again with mirth and joy.

THE ANCIENT

The Ancient is so old she is almost beyond time. She is able to speak the truth without compromise – as are you. She is so old, has experienced so much, learned and taught so many lessons, that she has become powerful and influential, just as you are becoming, too. So too are you growing older, coming into wisdom. She knows that while others are now going to come to you for advice and guidance, she sees your humanity – your faults and your flaws and your feelings of unworthiness. She wishes to reassure you.

Others will come to you, seeking knowledge, awaiting a blessing, an initiation, and oblivious to the consequences of the path they wish to walk. Wisdom, true wisdom, understands complexity, and you have developed this quality. The Ancient is honourable and human, and yet more than human, and she is courageous and has made sacrifices – as have you. She sees straight through comforting illusions – as do you.

She represents ancient tradition and the challenge of defining the self, yet remaining with a tradition that you value – and this too is one of your challenges. So take responsibility in your life. New Moon in Pisces, New Energy, Mercury Retrograde and Practical Magic Abounds!

Happy Magnificent, Magickal, Marvelous, Manifesting, Majestic first Monday of March! That’s right, March is here and Spring Equinox is coming (I’m so excited I love, love, love Spring Equinox). I find it so fascinating that even if I didn’t know what day or month it was my body let’s me know, I can literally feel the Spring energy welling up and my mind has been filled with creating and planting seeds to harvest in the Fall. Quite fascinating. In fact, one project that I have started is designing and creating a glorious garden and the minute I started sketching it out I found a massive Buddha head statue and 3 crazy cat statues on the side of the road! More on that next week once I get it figured out, let me just say it will be a magickal garden with Hawthorn’s, herbs and Big Intent!

Before we explore all the amazing deliciousness that is happening, I would like to say a huge thank you to all of you who have been writing and messaging me with regards to exploring the moons, equinoxes, rituals and seasons in more depth. That got my juices burbling last week and my amazing magickal guides hopped into the mix and gave me an incredible download. Thus, all being well, I think we will have created something for you by the Equinox. Stay tuned!

Okay, let’s look at what is burbling. First we have a new energetic theme for the month, Second, we have a glorious New Moon, and last but not least we have Mercury Retrograde! (No, running for the closet, it’s all good – quite magickal in fact.)

March is bringing us some glorious new energy! Shamanically the theme for this month is Next Step. If you remember January was Clean it Up, February was Activation and March is Next Step! Are you ready?

Let me share what Lena has to say:- “ In taking that “next step”, we are also dealing with anxiety, fear, confusion and trusting the unknown. We exit the month of February with lots of bits and pieces on our plate. Some are clear, some make no sense, some fit the puzzle, some don’t, some have come out of the blue creating sudden change, and some feel like road blocks with no clear solution……yet. There will be those of you that begin this month in a slight state of overwhelm and anxiety. Others will be excited about the possibilities and ready to launch into that next step. A lot was put into motion last month and some of it is just beginning to manifest.

The “next step” is on everyone’s mind. We all know that we are moving forward in some way. Some of you know exactly what that is and are chomping at the bit to get there already. But for many there are still unknowns, loose ends and gaps in clarity that may be producing anxiety, worry and fear. We know we are going somewhere, creating something new, we just do not have all the parts together yet, and the fear is that we will fail or be disappointed and unsuccessful in reaching our goals.

As we evolve, we are inevitably moving into a higher octave, a higher vibration, the upper room. But our fears are holding us back as we cling to what we know, as unsatisfying as that may be. There is no stopping the evolutionary process. It is like telling your hair or fingernails not to grow. The more you cling and hold back, the greater the possibility you will end up in depression and despair with blocked creativity and a feeling of stagnation.” You can read more about this energy at her site.

We have a glorious New Moon on Wednesday 6th and this New Moon is in Pisces which invites us to expand and illuminate or be held back by our shadow side. This is a moon from the transcendental realms. It holds the promise of a re-birth. It has a quality of merging the spiritual with the material. This is a moon to manifest the dream. However, its negative expression could mean among others, a lack of will, not clear intentions and non-clarity in emotions. It could mean harboring unrealistic expectations from ourselves, subdued will or lessened vitality. Which route would you rather pick? Personally I like the former far more! Added to the energy of Next Step and the delicious New Moon in Pisces we have Mercury Retrograde! Whoot, whoot! (Can you say, hold onto your bloomers?) This is the perfect time to really take the time to investigate some of the leftovers from the past. Now what do I mean by that? Let’s say every time you think of your sister there is a resentment about something she did or didn’t do. Therefore this resentment is taking up space in your head and heart, holding energy blocked instead of allowing it to flow. Time to let that puppy go and welcome your own energy back clear, clean and fresh. So if you experience any “tweakiness” during this retrograde take a moment to look at if it’s coming from outside of you or from inside. If it’s yours and it’s holding old energy that can be better used in the present day. Let it Go!

When I asked the cards who wanted to be your guides this week the glorious Isis Oracle were adamant to come and be front and centre. This is quite interesting as normally Isis doesn’t participate in “public readings”. Have you ever asked who Isis is? Take a moment to breathe yourself back into your body, feel your feet on the floor and your spine lengthening to the sky. Breathe into all the little hidden corners that sometimes get forgotten. INITIATION

When you are being spiritually initiated into the mysteries of light, love and power, there are moments of deep challenge. The key is to find the light within the challenge – the learning, growth or wisdom that can be summoned to turn the challenge into an opportunity for healing. Initiation will occur at various stages. Sometimes your entire life will feel like an initiation, at other times specific areas will be flowing easily whilst others re deeply challenging. Please know you are not needlessly suffering. If you can find the light within the struggles, tests or challenges that face you now, you will experience breakthrough healing.

As an Initiate, honour life as a gift and treat any challenge or pressure as a way for you to grow into a brighter and purer light capable of great spiritual service on this planet. That spiritual service includes growing an ability to be able to love freely and beyond limits, to love with courage and faith.

In fact initiation for you now, dear one, is an opening to new levels of power and peace, self-possession and love. There are such sweet fruits waiting for you at the top of the tree you are currently climbing. It may seem as though you are in barren land at times with little hope, nourishment or encouragement, yet your spiritual oasis is not far away! The Lady Isis and the Power of Ra together are helping you grow. Stay focused on the Lady and Her love for you and you shall pass through the desert of the Initiation unharmed and deeply transformed.

STAY TRUE AND BE IN YOUR POWER

The Flail and Crook, often held by Osiris, are symbols of Divine royalty and dominion. These symbols remind us that within we hold great dominion, spiritual authority and freedom to be the sovereign ruler of our own Self. This does not mean that we have to control life or others or even the environment around us, but it does give us complete and utter choice to become as spiritually awake, free, and self-determined as we wish to be, as well as providing us with complete choice as to what our values and actions will be this lifetime.

There is no permission required from anyone, apart from yourself, to be and live your truth! There are many voices that will test you on the journey from illusory shackles of fear, loss or abandonment that may hold you back or tempt you into giving your power away to others. You shall awaken from the testing into the realisation of spiritual independence within.

You have the power to create and own your reality and you don’t need permission from anyone else to do this. Honour your spiritual sovereignty, let the lady Isis help you find your spiritual authority and freedom of choice now. Seeking to hand over any responsibility for your own well being to another can be a tricky and ultimately self-destructive path, even though it may seem to start off as a relief of stress about some concern or other. You are guided to exercise care and discernment about any issue that feels like it is compromising your sense of self and personal power. That issue is a Soul healing trying to happen. Look within and see if you can grow through it in some way. There is much self-confidence trying to emerge from within you!

MAGICK AND RITUAL

Effect in the external world can be created through inner practice. Magick and Ritual can support your Divine Path now in the physical world and you are encouraged to enhance your power with regular practice. The results that you experience will encourage you to continue with the practice as you grow in power, grace, love, ability and wisdom, and apply your inner beauty to transform your outer world.

For us to grow empowered and potent on the Path of Ancient Feminine Power we need to honour our knowing and being and cultivate sacred practice. Sacred practice become the habit of growing our spiritual power and consciousness. Like a garden needing regular care and watering to blossom and flourish, our inner garden of the Soul, where our creativity, joy, spiritual gifts and bliss bubble away, also needs regular attention. Coming to our practice takes strength and inner will – even though it can feel amazing, we still have to wake up, set aside time and discipline ourselves to show up for our own inner growth. We will reap the benefits when we do, but we must allow ourselves to fall in love with our practice, to craft something that really speaks to us, so that we want to do it. The desire and the discipline together help us engage with our practice regularly and we can grow so fast it can be quite shocking!

You have great power and wisdom within you, but you need to provide channels for it to flow and be active and empowered in your physical life. Sacred Practice is such a channel. Without these channels, the ego is left to create on its own which is not much fun at all! The ego believes in fear and separation and no matter how much it may want to feel love, bliss, connection, joy and fulfilment, it really cannot do it without your spiritual presence in life. Ritual and Magick, as a form of sacred practice, are recommended for you as a way to bring more spiritual presence into your waking life, to heal and support the ego as you learn to create a life that feels better and brings you and others more fulfilment.

March is here and the energy has changed! And only 15 days until Spring Equinox!

Happy magnificent first Monday of March!!! Whoot! So excited March is here, there is a sense that winter is leaving (not when I look out the window so much), but definitely in my body and spirit, and the theme and energy has changed – more about that in a moment. First, I would like to say a huge thank you as so many of you sent me glorious messages and emails about my having to say goodbye to my lovely Uma, and I really, really appreciated them and the sharing of stories. So a huge heartfelt thank you!

Have to say, this week has been a week of “firsts” without having her around and at first I was so sad and angry about it all, which I noticed manifested in an odd cough and sinus pain. Duh! Sinus stuff is repressed anger, lung stuff is grief. Thus, I was very gentle with myself (and others – so no one ended up in the freezer) and made sure I was clear about what I was willing to do and what I just couldn’t, or even didn’t want to. Which shocked a few people, but felt very much like honouring where I was at and I wasn’t going to dumb it down to make others feel “okay”.

I took time this weekend to go play in the woods and just do some healing and releasing. On Saturday I went with a friend plodging through the snow and we bushwacked! What does that mean? It means we followed deer trails, elk trails that wended and winded through the forest and the deep snow, first up, then down, then up, along and slightly down and we had no concept to where we were. We had to crawl under brush, scramble over fallen trees covered with snow, or slide down a cliff on our bums, but I laughed and laughed. By the time it was all said and done we had done about 8 km and from the knee down were soaked, but it felt cleansing and gloriously grounding!

I also spent time bundled up just sitting outside and watching the dance of the squirrels and the crows. Every Saturday I put out seeds, peanuts in the shell and gorgeous little tidbits for them and then I laugh! A huge crow flies in and grabs a peanut whilst calling in all his friends, a small squirrel dashes along the top of the fence and has a face off with the crow (who does fly off) and grabs a peanut and sits very contentedly munching away, until a different crow flies in and the squirrel dashes off. Then this dance is repeated until everything is gone. I have to admit, I really admire squirrels, they are ballsy! Have you watched them? They go out on the thinnest of branches that bow under their weight, look at where they want to go and then just leap! I watched this little chap leap a good 4 feet onto the tiniest of branches, bounce up and down for a minute and then crack on with the mission of getting to the peanuts. They would make exceptional diamond thieves!

So as I mentioned earlier the energy has shifted and the theme for this month is Creative Adaptability. “Many of us are leaving February in a state of grump resistance to how things are unfolding both personally and globally. It will be both a challenge and a relief to have the opportunity to work with something new. It is time to change and step into a more proactive role in how we experience our lives. We need to be adaptable, not in a resigned acceptance, but rather in way that has us creating new recipes using familiar ingredients. Thus, it was no surprise that the deck that jumped out after this last week and weekend was The Oracle of the Faery Forest. Interesting to see that the crystals that came to play all remind me of birds eggs for some reason. So we have Angelite – a gorgeous crystal of heightened awareness, Chrysocolla – which revitalises and calms the base, navel and solar plexus and helps to ease emotional heartache, Sodalite – brings mental calmness and rational thinking. I use Angelite everytime I do a reading, I tuck it into my bra and have it next to my skin – would love to say I popped it in my cleavage but being long and lean it would probably drop all the way through to my ankles!

So with that overshare, let’s crack on! Take a moment to just come into your body, feel your feet on the ground and lengthen your neck and tuck your chin as if you are holding a large grapefruit under it. Just feel the energy moving up and down and breathe. Allow your wise inner self to come up and when you are ready pick the card or cards that resonate for you. If you want to get deliciously grounded and connected to the heavens, there is a glorious visualisation for you, although a helicopter decided to pop in briefly.

THE GOLDEN UNICORN

Everyone deserves to have another person in their life to whom they can turn for protection and care. OATH

An oath is a sacred bond that we make. It is more than a promise, it is the bond of a soul contract through the spoken word – and thus we must be cautious when we offer our word, and think through what it is we mean when we give it. It is impossible to ever know what another thinks we mean when we give our word, so when this card comes, there is a slight undertone of a warning – that another person may take your word and twist it to mean they have your loyalty forever, regardless of circumstance, behaviour, or treatment. An oath is made between equals, and an oath can be broken by both parties, and by circumstance.

You may now be considering a partnership or a contractual agreement. It is almost impossible to know how to ensure that this is a good thing, because the truth is, within every contract there is much that cannot be comprehended, even when it is read. If this is the case, ask the other party in the contract to explain what is meant by clauses you do not understand – and ask them to offer examples, so you can best understand the paper oath you are taking.

In some cases, it may be a handshake you are sealing an agreement with. Whatever its form, consider the weight that comes with the feeling of making this contract. Consider the future and the karmic load the agreement brings to you, along with its immediate benefits. It is the truth that when considering our word, we must understand as fully as we can what we have agreed to. Be sure to do this now.

CUNNINGWOMAN

Now is not the time for talk or action. It is a time to be independent, watchful, and intelligent.

This being holds with her very specific knowledge – the value of silence and watchfulness. Her message to you is to watch, and observe what people and beings around you are doing.
