Canada Day, Independence Day and Eclipse Season!

Hello, hello, hello gorgeous one! It feels like yonks since we last connected, but it is only just shy of two weeks. How have you been? Did you take some time to celebrate the Summer Solstice? I most certainly did! It was actually one of the best Summer Solstice celebrations I have ever had. Myself and my kids went to Vancouver island to meet up with my sister/hubbie from the UK and my nieces, my son, the mothership, and a myriad of other relatives. We played, explored and laughed so much that week and I made sure that daily I went to the ocean, which was like balm to my soul.

On Solstice we all went to the beach where the wind was strong, the waves were gorgeously tremendous and we created ritual, sent little boats out to sea with our intentions and desires, lit a fire and had an aaammmmmaaaazzzing time. It was stupendous! What I found interesting was I had thought the ocean would be kind of calm and we could set our little intention boats out to sea with a candle and off they would go, lol, mother nature had a different plan. The waves were huge so you had to toss your boat out (like a baseball pitcher). Some she threw back onto the shore in short order and that person changed their intention and voila, off the boat chugged! So it comes to my turn and I whisper to my lovely little boat my desire and intention and tossed her out into the ocean, she was certainly accepted and the funny thing was, so were two other things. I wear 7 amazing crystal bracelets on my right wrist, one for each chakra and when I tossed my boat in off flew the heart chakra and throat chakra bracelet – gone, swallowed by the waves. Urrrr, hmmm, that was interesting and then within about a minute my throat chakra one was tossed back, but not the heart one and holy hannah did that boat chug out to sea!

Coming home was sweet and sour, it was great to be home and back with the dogs, but it was heart wrenching to leave parts of my family and the ocean, that one is so primal for me and courses through my veins. But hey, for the moment I have lots of glorious memories.

Yesterday was Canada Day (here in Canada, go figure) and soon it will be July 4th in the States, so lots of reasons to celebrate, set off fireworks and connect with people and share food (all good things). Also, with the whooshing in of July we see the energy change again and when I first encountered it I felt a huge “Gulp” burble up. If you remember, the energy for May was Re-Aligning Values, June was Discipline and Follow Through, well July is all about Mature Responsibility in Unpredictable Times. As Lena from The Power Path says “It is time. It is time to take a hard look at where we give our power away, blame others, procrastinate what we know needs to be done, avoid responsibility and hope it will all just go away or that someone will do it for us. It is time to take responsibility for our health and well-being, emotional maturity and what we create. It is time to start believing in our own power to change what we can and to adapt to what we can’t. It is also time to face our own addiction to suffering, our insecurities and flawed belief systems that hold us back, and to do something permanent about them as much as we can. It is an explosive time with an aggressive attitude full of triggers that can either be used for tremendous growth, movement, initiation and progress, or it can spiral down into something nasty.” To read more you can find it here.

On top of that energy we are heading into eclipse season. Normally, we have two that encompass two weeks, this time we have three, two solar eclipses and one lunar which encompass a month, so the energy is ripe with coming face to face with all sorts of stuff, as well as creating massive change. Solar eclipses are about external change and lunar are about inward, so I personally am going to buy a pair of big girl panties and have them ready! I’ve also gone and picked up some Labradorite and some Indigo Gabbro (aka Mystical Merlinite), to have for these eclipses, but more on that next week.

When I asked the cards who wanted to come support and guide this week, it was no surprise that the Isis Oracle deck jumped up and down. With all the solar energy that has been buzzing around, she is the perfect deck for this time. I love how part of the introduction says “You are a powerful Soul and you are awakening. Your thoughts, feelings and inner world is changing, and so too is your outer world. You are an Initiate of the Light.” Yum!! What was also lovely to see was that some of the little shells I gathered whilst at the ocean wanted to come play and bring their delicious energy of sea, tides and fluidity to this reading. So in between rain showers I decided to get my toes in the grass and do the reading there.

So with all that being said, I invite you to take a pause, a moment for yourself. Gently start slowing down your breathing and allow your thoughts to just flow across your mind like gorgeous clouds. Breathe in through your nose and sigh the air out through your open mouth. Keep breathing this way and then when you are ready, ask your wise inner knowing to come forth and pick the card or cards that are best suited for you and the path that you are to walk this week.

Sometimes the thoughts and words of others – their vibration – can enhance you or leave you feeling depleted or drained. Remember you can use words of power to cleanse any cords or contracts that would lower your vibration into a fearful place, in order to come back to love, to help you stay true to yourself and perhaps even inspire others to think or speak more positively when they are around you.

INITIATION

When you are being spiritually initiated into the mysteries of light, love and power, there are moments of deep challenge. The key is to find the light within the challenge – the learning, growth or wisdom that can be summoned to turn the challenge into an opportunity for healing. Initiation will occur at various stages. Sometimes your entire life will feel like an initiation, at other times specific areas will be flowing easily whilst others re deeply challenging. Please know you are not needlessly suffering. If you can find the light within the struggles, tests or challenges that face you now, you will experience breakthrough healing.

As an Initiate, honour life as a gift and treat any challenge or pressure as a way for you to grow into a brighter and purer light capable of great spiritual service on this planet. That spiritual service includes growing an ability to be able to love freely and beyond limits, to love with courage and faith.

In fact initiation for you now, dear one, is an opening to new levels of power and peace, self-possession and love. There are such sweet fruits waiting for you at the top of the tree you are currently climbing. HEALING THE DIVINE MASCULINE

The Divine Masculine within men and women is the energy that allows for protection, discernment, healing and a sense of deep safety and holding, even through the most uncomfortable circumstances of life. When the masculine within us is healthy and strong, we have an inner strength to hold ourselves safe through anything. Your Inner Masculine is going through healing right now, growing stronger in His ability to offer you inner protection and stability so that your Inner Feminine can blossom with creative expression.

The Inner Masculine and Inner Feminine need each other. When they are in a good inner relationship with us, we feel like healthy, whole human beings. We are able to live as ourselves in the world in a relatively peaceful, creative and enjoyable way. When there is damage to the Inner Masculine, there is difficulty in standing up for our truths, in knowing what our truths and values are, and in knowing how to protect them without feeling as though we have to fight constantly just to be allowed to be ourselves. We might also feel that unless others see things as we do, we have no power, and then have to fight to dominate others, manipulating them to our point of view.

The Inner Masculine part of us often needs healing so that He can fulfil his Divine Purpose of inner strength, protection and honouring of the Self in all its uniqueness, so that we can live as free, strong individuals that know who they are and are happy to just love and be that person – and allow others to do the same.

Use your inner feminine courage, trust and determination to avoid castrating the Masculine by considering it weak, useless, or unnecessary. For healing to happen for both Masculine and Feminine, we must be prepared to let go of feelings of victimisation, domination, disappointment and dissatisfaction and do the same times challenging inner work of learning to relate to masculine and feminine energy with a completely different approach!

Wow! These are perfect cards as we move into this energy of Mature Responsibility in Unpredictable Times! Thus, if you feel inclined this week, think of something that you have been putting off, procrastinating on if you will, and take some action to either complete it or release it. (Yes you are allowed to do that). Often it is the “things” and “projects” that we put off for whatever reason that use up most of our energy. So ask yourself if you still want to complete whatever it is, and if you still need to and if you don’t – decommit to it. This brings such a whoosh of release and energy back to you it’s quite delicious. Happy magnificent, magikal Monday! Welcome to May, did you get an opportunity to celebrate Beltane? I most certainly did with a tree blessing ceremony and a little spell casting (which was quite delicious.)

With the onset of May we see the energy shifting. If you remember March was Creative Adaptability, April was Mindfulness, Patience and Balance. May is all about Re-Aligning Values. So in a nutshell “This month provides many opportunities for you to re-align your values and re-evaluate your priorities. You may be triggered and shaken up along the way because of some inner personal crisis, intense global event or sudden change. Use this as an opportunity to reshape the way you live your life instead of feeling victimized or despairing about the situation.” If you would like to explore this more, I highly suggest checking out Lena Stevens (an amazing Shaman), where she delves into this more on a personal, relationship and spiritual level.

This past weekend I gave myself permission to really unhook from most media, my phone, other people’s dramas and instead spent almost the whole weekend pottering in the garden. Sitting and watching the squirrels and playing in the woods with the hounds (whilst being exceptionally bear aware as I encountered 2 last week). It was so refreshing and revitalising and it was fascinating to watch how some people in my world responded to me not being on call 24×7. One person must have sent me about 30 texts and multiple Messenger notices as well. Quite mind blowing.

Oh yes, I also tried something new this weekend! I love to write, serve, help, support, inspire and all the rest of it – but video and that “being seen” certainly brings up old shit and uncomfie bugaboos. However, I am very blessed as I belong to an amazing group called The Vibe Tribe, facilitated by the wonderful Carolyn Michelman; in this group we have been making our way through the book “Raise Your Vibration” by Kyle Grey. It’s a great book for really helping you have a daily spiritual practice that is easy and manageable, as there is a Vibe for each day. Well within the group I have watched so many of the amazing members step up and share the Vibe for the day using FB Live. Gulp! So finally I decided it was time to pull on my big girl panties, remind myself that I was in a very safe and supportive environment and just frigging do it! So I did! On Sunday I did my first ever FB Live and I didn’t self implode, no lightning bolts fell from the sky and I had so much fun. So I busted through a limiting belief and a fear about visibility which felt sooooo amazing to do. So who knows maybe this FB Live might become part of the way I communicate with the world. We shall have to see.

As we head into the reading I invite you to think of one limiting belief or fear (and it doesn’t have to be huge), that if you could release it and send it on its merry way would have a positive impact on your life or business. Ready to work with that?

The deck that was like the chatty squirrel and nattered and nattered to come share this week is The Sacred Rebels Oracle. Remember this is the deck “for those who aren’t afraid to rattle cages, ruffle feathers and rock boats, from a place of loving service to the spiritual evolution of humanity.” (I mean seriously if we are pondering a fear or limiting belief, how perfect is that?) The crystals that had been having a gorgeous sun bath and wanted to come support are:- Bloodstone, a gorgeous Geode and Fire Agate.

Let’s take a big glorious belly breath in and allow ourselves to just stop for a moment and just BE. Sigh the breath out through your mouth and give your shoulders a little roll and wiggle. As you breathe in deeply really feel yourself in your body and if you feel inclined bring to mind a limiting belief or fear that you would like to release and when you feel ready. Pick the card or cards that resonate for you and then let’s go see what you need to pay attention to this week. Enjoy!

DREAM A BEAUTIFUL DREAM

The urge to create is the same within you as it is for the universal creator. It also has the same magical ability to draw harmony into being to find beautiful order in chaos. This includes bringing harmony and the perfect balance of well being into your body, mind and emotions.

If you feel blocked, thwarted or contaminated by others in your quest to bring your beautiful dreams to life, you may feel that your heart is dulled, minimised or shut down. Small mindedness can limit beauty to very narrow, physical sense. However, you can shun the social disease of superficial, narrow definitions of beauty, thumb your nose at air-brushed images and dare to love what is. Give yourself permission to feel and be beautiful in many ways.

There is a situation in your life right now where you feel uncertain about your ability to “fix” or heal. You may feel inhibited in your ability to bring about constructive change. However, the perfect beauty of this situation is not revealed by what you attempt to do to it, or by trying to impose on it. There is a beauty in it and by that revelation it is healed and perfected.

In opening up to the beauty within yourself and your circumstances, you open up to change. You can overcome resistance and denial by approaching it with a curious mind, an open heart and acknowledging the hidden beauty. You have the power to be a positive influence in whatever situation holds the most meaning for you right now, and you need to know that.

THE WORD WANTS TO BE WRITTEN

You might have been taught that creativity is something you have to work hard to access, or that finding your life purpose is so difficult that you must search high and low for it. Or creating a living doing what you love is impossible.

Yet what you are is within you and wants to come out at every available opportunity. You don’t have to struggle so much. It is more about allowing space for it to manifest and to let the energy flow. The effort is in getting out of the way, not in making something happen. As for being yourself, that is the foundation from which your life path and joy will reveal itself. Being yourself becomes easier when you give yourself permission to love, honour and accept yourself in all circumstances, especially the ones where you might be more tempted to reject and judge.

What you are dreaming of or seek to manifest, is actually very natural for you. That is why you want to do it. Now it is about chipping away at the walls of shame, perhaps with a defiant “Who the hell cares, I am here and I am going to love myself anyway.” Release old emotional wounds and break away from any restraints to unconditional self-love.

What you want to write, sing, dance, create or become is you. It is natural. Drop your defences, get into the grit and confront the power than any old shaming has had over you. It’s finished now. It is time for you to be naked with yourself, acknowledge how gorgeous you are and get on with your work. Life is urging you to do so, because the work wants to happen. What you want to create, wants to be created. Step firmly over any remnants of the past that have been in your way and stay on your path.

SHOCK OF THE NEW

What wild unconventional voice is calling to you? Can you hear it? It is so different so unusual, it might be hard to decipher – like hearing an unfamiliar language for the first time. It might be hard to discern with great clarity now but there is an affinity between you and this strangely beautiful newness seeking to manifest.

There is a stirring at the deepest level within you. Something new will break through and the process of this birth may be a shock to you. The shock will transform into great joy and a sense of tremendous liberation, but you must bear the strangeness first. That strangeness might be something that rattles your beliefs about yourself and your world, daring you to become more of yourself, more open to where life is leading you and more willing to be the unique sacred art being crafted by the hand of the universal creator. This is life creating the stage upon which you will experience greater fulfilment. Don’t reject it, no matter how small or insignificant, or how powerful and life-changing it may seem to be.

You are being asked to dispense with your reliance on the past and what have been your tools to navigate life. You have outgrown your old methods. You will have to fly by the seat of your pants, so to speak, as you experiment with new ways to be. Life will show you the way.

Well delicious lovely that was quite a divine reading and it most certainly ties in with the energy of this month of Re-Aligning Your Values. Only 1 sleep until Spring Equinox!!! Whoot, whoot!

Happy Marvelous, Magnificent, Magical Monday gorgeous one! Only one more sleep until Spring Equinox! (Can you tell I’m excited?) I love Spring Equinox – well, I love all the Sabbats and Esbats to be honest, but the Spring Equinox fills me with so much hope, promise and delight as I know deep in my body that the heaviness of winter is leaving and it’s a time of rebirth, growth and glorious opportunities! This is a time when the goddess is the Maiden in all her youthful glory, the god is reaching manhood, and energy abounds. It’s also the perfect time of year to clear away all those old patterns that no longer work for your benefit, and welcome in new growth, whether spiritual, personal or financial. For those of you on my email list you will be receiving a fun and easy ritual to mark the day and really tap into that glorious energy.

On Saturday I had one of those marvelous days filled with lots of moments of joy. The sun was out, the temperature mild I went for a hike up the mountain but the trail I was on was a mud pit so needless to say I was a tad filthy and muddy by the time I got home – but it all washes off, right? (Oh yes and forgot to grab the dogs before they dashed into the house covered in mud and hopped up on the frigging sofas!) So after cleaning up their muddy mess that was all through the house, I sat out on my deck and mused about how to build a glorious pagoda (with a built in chin up bar) and a cute little workshop for all my lovely tools and I was mapping out what I am going to do with the garden (when the three feet of snow finally goes away!) I love creating sacred outdoor space with plants, water, rock and wood – little magical corners and havens where you can sit and revel in the beauty, map out your dreams or just recline and relax and let nature buzz around you.

This in turn reminded me that I wanted to get the book “Garden Witchery: Magick from the Ground Up” so I popped into one of my favourite local stores to see if they had it. Alas, no and then I had one of those “wowzer” moments! Sitting on the shelf was an Oracle deck that literally shouted at me to pick it up. Now, I am uber picky about the decks that I use and I often will sit on the floor of the store and go through a deck for an hour and still put it back on the shelf. This one though – all I can say was “I didn’t stand a chance”, this was not an invitation from Spirit, but a very clear directive. So without opening it I picked it up and as I was buying it (talk about having things validated), someone walked up to me and handed me a long thin piece of folded paper. Ummm, I don’t do drugs, I don’t want your phone number, what the heck is this – were the first thoughts that dashed through my brain, but as I gently unfolded it there was a gorgeous pressed 4 leaf clover! Whoot, whoot! A gift of a 4 leaf clover on St. Paddy’s day and the exact minute I was following a directive to get this deck. Love how life unfolds.

So guess which deck we are going to work with for this reading? Yes, you guessed it. The new one!!!!!! (She is amazing). When I got home I immediately opened her up and laughed out loud with how perfectly perfect and powerful she was. So she has been cleansed, consecrated and blessed and is the ultimate deck for this pre Spring Equinox reading. Oh yes, how rude of me not to formally introduce her, she is The Earth Warriors Oracle by the amazing Alana Fairchild. Let me read part of the introduction to you so you can get a bit of a feel for her:-

So with that in mind and the energy of Spring Equinox just around the corner, let’s crack on! I did create a lovely Equinox visualisation if you feel so inclined (think Diana Gabalden and Stonehenge), if not I invite you to take a lovely long deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Wiggle your toes and feel your feet on the floor, solid and safe, take a few glorious deep breaths in and slowly out and when you are ready pick the card or cards that resonate for you.

ALOHA KE AKUA. The Divine is love. The Supreme Being from which all of life emanates manifests a blessing for you. The realm of the heart is love’s temple. When you enter the heart, you gain access to the Great One and to the “mana”, the power, authority, grace and magnetism to manifest your divine destiny. Trust in what is meant for you. Surrender doubt and disconnection in favour of love and respect for the Great One, and you shall live your true destiny with joy in your heart. Love can and will conquer all.

You have an empowered and open heart that is capable of receiving divine presence. This is a sacred gift that must be protected. Protect the temple of your heart from becoming clouded by fear or lack of forgiveness. The purity and strength of your heart flows from your loving relationship with the Supreme Being, whatever your image of that being may be. Allow yourself to trust unconditionally in your divine relationship, and your affairs will work out beautifully. For every purpose that has been given you, there is also the divine gift of the power to accomplish it. It is only through divine relationship that we can tap into these gifts and make the sacred purpose for our lives a reality in the world. A blessing is coming to you now. Things do not need to be complicated. When you are confusing yourself with too many variables, too much information or fear and doubt, focus on filling your heart with love, and let everything else go. The heart has the power to heal in a way that the mind cannot understand. Do not allow your mind to distract or frighten you. You are a beautiful child of the Universe and divine love lives within your heart. A willing heart is all that you need to transform any situation that is troubling you. Recognising this power does not evoke feelings of pressure or anxiety, but, rather, of peace and joy. Lightness of heart and relief of mind are here for you now.

PONO, in the Hawaiian tradition, has deep and multiple meanings, one expression of which is the return to order. There is a perfection of peace, beauty and fulfilment that the Divine has planned for the lives of all beings. Through the use of human free will, we have at times moved away from what is in the divine plan, stumbled on the path and become ensnared in terrible suffering and frightening delusion. It then becomes difficult to use our free will with wisdom, and our spiritual disconnection can create far-reaching negative impact for ourselves and others. Yet there is a simple spiritual discipline that we can practice to restore the world – and all hearts within it – to rights again.

The Divine dwells in your heart as a healing power and wisdom, which tenderly alleviates suffering, liberating the body, mind and soul. In the Hawaiian tradition from which it emerges, it is known as Ho’o Pono Pono or “to set things right”. The heart power thrives through this simple four-step practice that can be done by anyone, anywhere, for any person or situation that they would wish to transform. This is not a practice you can approach through the mind. The mind will resist it because it asks for us to take unconditional responsibility for everything that we encounter. The mind confuses responsibility with guilt and giving with deficit. The heart, though, is joyful at the prospect of spiritual responsibility, because it understands that it offers the empowerment to make a difference and that healing one helps heal all.

The Divine within your heart has the power to transform a situation that is troubling you. Do not be intimidated or think it is too much for your or the Divine to handle. Don not allow yourself to intellectualise or analyse a situation to the point of feeling confused or paralysed. Healing through the heart on any and all issues that have plagued you or a loved one can and will happen. Let your heart feel the faith it needs to feel so that it can rest in joy. Wow! I don’t know about you, but that was an amazing reading. A lot to do with trust, rebirth, heart based and not mind based and just how incredibly powerful and part of the Divine we all are! I thought it was interesting as well that all 3 cards that came were Hawaiian based! I particularly liked that the Pono Pono card came up, I once did this practice for 3 weeks straight and it was incredible to see what happened. What do Togas, Green Beer and Wishes have in Common?

Happy Magnificent, Marvelous, Manifesting Monday! So what do Togas, Green Beer, and Wishes have in common? Nothing, except they all happen this week!

Ahhh, beware the Ides of March! We have all heard that saying, but what the heck does it mean? Originally it was notable for Romans as the day of settling debts. In 44 BC it became notorious as the day Julius Caesar was assassinated. Then, if you have ever read any Shakespeare, in his play Julius Caesar (written in 1599), Caesar was warned by a soothsayer not to go out, but he did and Caesar’s good friend Brutus was there when he was killed. Hence the phrase “Et tu Brute”? Oh yes, Ides of March is March 15th.

Shortly after this we have the celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day on the 17th, where all of a sudden everyone is Irish, or half Irish! Quite fascinating to watch. Green is donned, T-shirts bearing the logo “Kiss me I’m Irish” are worn and green beer or Guinness is served in most pubs. (I personally love St. Paddy’s day as I am half Irish and I get to hear bagpipes, have a fetish for bagpipe music!) Also, on this same day it is a gorgeous New Moon in Pisces, that delightfully watery, flowy energy and a superb time to make New Moon wishes. For me personally I am very attracted to water, whether it be a burbling brook, a creek, a lake or the amazing energy of the ocean. Throw in sunshine and you can hear me holler a “Hell Yes!”

We have had gorgeous blue skies and sunshine for three days in a row!!! (Now I know some of you may be thinking – meh, what’s the big deal?) Well after months and months of grey sky, snow, ice and a cocoon like feeling it is so amazing to have the temperature warm up, the snow start to melt and the sun beat down with glorious radiance! I noticed as I bustled around town on the weekend, people were holding their heads higher, their shoulders were more relaxed and there were certainly more smiles happening! So cool to watch how, even if we don’t pay attention to it, our bodies respond to the energies of the season and the weather.

On Saturday morning I treated myself and did 3 hours of Kundalini Yoga with the most amazing Sat Kaur – where we explored cutting the ties to the “dross” so that we could focus our energy on what makes us feel happy. Thus, after a delicious kriya I thought – what makes me feel really happy that’s easy to do right now?

Sun, water, nature, exploring, connection etc. Wanting to lock that “sense” into my body I grabbed my wonderful friend Christine, our dogs and we went out to one of the Provincial Parks nearby. Here we live on a lake, it’s about 150 miles long and quite vast and with it being the tail end of winter the water level was low, so there was beach galore to walk along that went out to a spit in the middle of the lake. The wind was a tad chilly, but it pushed the water up in gentle waves that created that delicious “lapping” sound I sooooo love. The sky was that incredible robin egg blue and the large mountains at the end of the lake, which are still covered in snow, created an impressive contrast of white against the blue and the sun felt comfortingly warm on my back.

Ahhhhhhh, was how my body responded. Such a glorious reminder of grounding, being present and really appreciating the moment and not fretting about what else needs to get done. Such a divine way to spend a morning. I literally came home feeling nurtured and buzzing with energy! Which then poses the question – what is easy for you to do that makes you feel happy? What is something you can do regularly, inexpensively that really makes your shoulders drop and your heart sing?

As I sat down to do this reading, with the energy of the sun, water and New Moon buzzing through me, it was delightful to see “The Lightworker Oracle” deck come out to play. She has been rather shy and reticent in this arena, so it was very cool to see she was so bold! Her dedication is very simple but strong – “May you always turn to the light.” The crystals that chose themselves for this reading are:- Lepidolite, Moonstone and Brecciated Jasper.

Ready? Just breathe, just take a lovely breathe out and then breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Focus on what makes you feel happy. It could be a flower, an experience, a vision. Just focus on the feeling of how that makes you feel. Breathe that in. If you want some help with just getting relaxed and comfy there is a fun guided visualisation that involves water.

Then when you are ready, pick the card/cards that call to you. Remember there is no right way or wrong way, it just is. Trust yourself.

PARADIGM SHIFT

You are undergoing radical growth in your belief systems. Now is the time to challenge old attitudes and question previous expectations. You are in an extraordinary time. Great leaps forward can be made in a moment. The world you thought you knew can suddenly break open, and a new world can become your reality.

Buddhists sometimes speak of the “beginner’s mind” – that which assumes nothing and therefore is open to everything. Old souls can sometimes find it hard to recapture their “not knowingness”. Asking someone with a lot of life experience, who may have become a bit world-weary, to drop expectations and look at the world through fresh eyes can be challenging. Yet life becomes much more energising and interesting when you are open and don’t hold expectations about what will be. Suddenly, you are receptive to the Universe helping you in ways that, in the past, you did not believe possible – all because you kept an open mind.

If you are feeling that you don’t really know yourself, your relationships or your place in the world as you once did – if you are feeling that what you once held to be certain now seems to be a little shaky – these are signs that you are going through paradigm shift. This will bring you new perceptions that will free you to be in the world in new ways. You will find yourself shedding old limiting fears and misconceptions. You are stepping beyond what you have known . You are a bit like a traveller in a new city feeling awkward until she gets the “lay of the land”, and how things operate in that new place. As you trust the unexpected and unknown, the Universe will be able to help you in unexpected and previously unknown ways. Embrace the power you have to be a free thinker. Dare to think thoughts of love rather than lower your vibration by choosing thoughts of fear. Trust, for something helpful and empowering is happening in your soul.

EARTH HEALING

You are making a real contribution to the planet through your spiritual journey. Remember this and believe that your needs will be generously met by the earth and the Universe. What you are doing matters, and you will be supported.

The earth recognises you. She sees you as a conduit through which she is fed higher frequencies of light, love and divine presence. This assists her on the journey of her own evolution. You are here to have your spiritual life journey in a human body. Part of that process will involve sharing your light with the earth, itself. This may see you take on the role of healer, guide, mentor or teacher to others on the path. It may see you doing work with the natural world. It may involve an active prayer life that is ongoing through your day, praying for assistance, compassion, clearing and blessing when you see an accident on the road, an animal or person who seems to be suffering, or an item on the news that you know needs light and healing.

From the most obvious gestures to the more subtle, you are powerful enough to make a meaningful contribution to the quality of consciousness upon Earth. Earth asks you to do your work with quiet confidence and dedication. She gives thanks for all you have done and acknowledges her love for you. She will support you in your work by providing material means for you, whilst you are here on this planet. These include financial support, housing, food and human and animal relationships. She will also provide guidance for your progress, opportunities to grow and expand your field of influence, education and training opportunities, the means to take advantage of them and the chance to apply what you have learned in a real-world context. The more you devote yourself to your task of earth healing, the more the earth will support you in fulfilling your inspired goals.

If you have been wondering if the spiritual work you are doing is making a contribution – what you are doing matters! Yes, you are going to expand and grow in the work you are doing and the impact that you have in the world, because you are capable of that. Keep working, shining and growing, dear one. Your presence here is so needed and honoured.

SOUL CHILD

Rebirth is upon you, beautiful child of the Universe. You have prepared for new life, and it is starting right now. The divine moment of rebirth – which occurs after a period of struggle, of intense inner work and physical transformation – has arrived. Enjoy getting to know this new self. It is new day, a new beginning, a new you. Like an adventurer enjoying the discovery of a brand new world, take your time to explore the increase of your light, power and love.

You have undergone the death of the old order. Nothing is as it was, nor will it be so again. You have had to learn detachment, to release and let go, over and over again. In so many ways, you have experienced inner death as you have bravely surrendered that which no longer serves your growth this lifetime – even if you once loved it dearly or couldn’t imagine life without it. Deep inside, through that process, your soul has been gathering energy. It has been drawing it away from the old forms of your life and relationships, from your old beliefs about health, finances, work and from what used to hold meaning for you. It has done so in order to feed the new soul child being carried within your body. This new you is filled with divine light, love and power. Your inner soul child, this newly integrated self, is preparing for birth, now. From that which is no longer, something new is now being born.

You are ready for the next cycle or phase of your life. Even if, like a newborn colt learning to stand steady on shaky legs, you are not sure of your strength, be reassured: The new self you are experiencing will grow strong and powerful soon enough. Let confidence in your new self emerge. Reflect upon how different you are now to a year or even a month ago. Be curious about who you are now. Do not expect the same reactions or experiences you encountered in your past. It is a time of celebration and acknowledgement that a new day, a new you has begun a journey in the physical world. You shall enjoy the divine harvest of all of your growth and effort!

Happy glorious Monday delicious one. How has your week been? Do you realise that in a week we will be in March (thank goodness, as that means Spring is going to be here soon). I will be honest, this was a really tough reading to do. It’s been a heck of a week here, my gorgeous gal and most favourite dog – Uma went to sleep on Friday. So the week has been a rollercoaster of emotions everything from tears, hope, deep sadness and anger – big anger. I noticed on Monday she wasn’t her usual self and took her to the Vet’s on Wednesday to find out she had bone marrow cancer and then on Friday she looked at me and literally asked to go. So incredibly hard. Sometimes I hate being a grownup!

On Saturday I had to attend a meeting at the Legion and it took everything for me to keep it together, to stay prickly enough that people wouldn’t come near me and ask me dumb questions (as I felt very inclined to advise them of their stupidity – I know, not kind, but I wasn’t feeling kind). I was feeling deeply sad and wounded. I did really well and just stayed quiet, took the minutes and was counting the time until I could bolt and then someone walked up with a service dog. I literally bit the inside of my cheek and dug my nails into my palms whilst looking at anything other than that dog until the meeting was done and then – well all bets were off. I bolted out the door and the tears came hot and fast. When I got home I realised that I needed to write, to write to my gorgeous gal, to write to the pain and the loss and this whirlwind week, so I did. I wrote an Ode to my gorgeous gal. Interesting to see that the weather has been reflecting my mood, it’s grey out there with continual snow and blowing winds – bleak. But I know Spring will come, the snow will stop, the sun will shine and these waves of overwhelming emotion will gradually get further and further apart.

I thought the Rumi deck, or the Wild Kuan Yin would be the ones that wanted to come play, however, they weren’t. It is The Divine Circus which did make me laugh a bit “May your rebel heart always be bold. May your spirit always be free.” The crystals that wanted to come play are:- Amethyst, Aragonite, Smoky Quartz.

So with all that being said, I invite you to gently close your eyes down and take a glorious deep breath in, nice and slow through your nose and then a lovely sigh like exhale through your mouth. Keep breathing in this way and see at your heart centre a glorious ball of warm light. Envision this ball of light moving down your body and going out the soles of your feet, down, down, down into the gorgeous molten core of the earth. Feel it click into the gorgeous grounding earth energy and then move itself back up and through your lovely body and out the top of your head. As it moves up, up, up it expands completely around you so that you are standing in the middle of this lovely warm light and feel, as it expands out into the Universe, feel it click into the universal energy – the realm of infinite possibilities. Now that you are connected to earth and Divine, your ball of light moves slowly back to your heart space and gently sits there, nurturing, guiding, healing and loving. With this energy surrounding you, in you and through you, gently open your eyes and trust yourself as you pick the card or cards that call to you.

SWEETHEART

You’ve know violence in your life; maybe on the outside, maybe on the inside with a mind that has tortured you with fear, shame, darkness and doubt. Enough of that now. It is time for a gentler way – less pain, more gain. No more torture. It’s your time for sweets and treats.

There is so much violence in the world, and in our own minds, that we can assume this is just the way of the world, that we have to accept it, deal with it, and thereby forget we have the right to question it and even change it, if we so choose. Even the most ambitious desires for healing the world start with us as individuals. We cannot bring more peace to the world if there is violence in our hearts. Regrets, shaming judgements, fear of not being good enough, uncertainty and constant pushing to become more, to do more, to have more, can become the energetic equivalent of beating ourselves up every day. This creates invisible bruises that never have time to heal because we don’t give ourselves the sweetness, kindness and compassion we need to break free from the abusive cycle.

This cycle you are coming to is sweeter, one that is more loving, one that promises new life. But you have to be willing to dispense with the violence, one step at a time. You deserve to give yourself a gentler life journey. Would you accept this for yourself? If there are abusive or toxic relationships in your life, then you’ll need to do some relationship overhauling. No matter how much the people involved may proclaim their love, if underneath it is unhealthy, if a relationship is holding you back rather than helping to lift you up, then reconsider its place in your life.

You can’t taste the sweetness that life wants to bring to you if you are crammed full of stuff you don’t need or want anymore. Create some space. Ready yourself for receiving life’s nectar and believe in the power of your new beginning. You are a true sweetheart of the universe. Let yourself be treated accordingly.

CONFETTI

You will soon have cause for celebration. Whether a big win or a token gain affirming that the best is yet to come, sweet success is headed your way. Prepare to celebrate! It’s time to find the celebratory spirit within. Maybe you already feel it, or maybe it’s the last thing in the world you can imagine feeling right now, but whether it’s on your radar or not, a cause for celebration is imminent.

It’s time to spend your energy in playfulness. If you want more success, happiness and celebration in your life, you can enhance that right now by being happy for the success of others around you. Do you know that success is like a wave? When you genuinely congratulate another and feel happy for their happiness, your own energy field gets a jolt of that same energy. You attract it into your own life. You deserve success for all you are and all you’ve accomplished just as much as anyone else.

So be happy for another – even if a part of you wonders if there is enough to go around, if maybe they have taken your piece of the pie, or if you wonder if their success is really served. Let such thoughts be without adding to their power for thinking such a way. Just take charge and choose how you want to respond. Be happy for them and be happy for you as the universe is giving you notice of a party – and you are most definitely meant to attend – and it’s heading your way.

DEATH SHALL NOT TAKE HIM

You are going to witness the impossible made possible. Whatever you think is lost, is not. Whatever you think cannot be, shall be. The universe is going to intervene and what seems to be over, shall in a new way, live again.

Sometimes, just when you think it’s all over, the eleventh hour comes. You can practically hear the opening chords of your swan song, and when you have finally given up, suddenly, somehow, right before your eyes, everything changes – just like that. You were free-falling and then, suddenly, you are soaring. Fate steps in, destinies are altered and life demonstrates its creative, restorative power, even if all seemed lost.

No matter how defeated you feel, no matter how many dead ends you’ve encountered, how many setbacks, how many failures, no matter how impossible success may seem, the universe has your back and is going to right things in your favour. You will succeed. So if you really must (sigh) doubt for one more moment – go ahead, then replace doubt with trust and participate in the divine defiance of life refusing to be stepped on or crushed. Why not just frigging relax and bear witness to the universe’s impressive display of life-giving power with reverence and delight? Gorgeous one – get out of your own way!

My lovely sister sent me a blessing this weekend that is absolutely beautiful and an amazing reminder that life is good, life is love and there is always someone there to hold us, help us dust off our dirty knees and to remind us that this too will pass. The blessing is called Beannacht by John O’Donohue and starts off with –
