What to do with Discontent and how Super Full Moon in Virgo can help!

Happy, happy Magnificent, Magickal, Marvelous, Manifesting, Majestic, Mischievous, Merry Monday!!!

The sun is out and the sky is blue – it makes me super happy, doobie doo, doobie doo! My pansies are positively perking their little heads up which is a delight to see as I thought that with the bitter cold, massive snow and blowing winds they had perished (as they looked exceptionally sad), but they are rallying and reaching their gorgeous little faces towards the lovely warm sun we have been getting for the last few days. Whoot!

Remember how at the beginning of the month we explored the Shamanic theme of ACTIVATION? How are you doing with this?

The other day I was talking with a client and she was totally bent out of shape, discontent was running rampant through her thoughts and emotions and there was that “itchy” feeling linked to not feeling comfortable in her own physical body. As she shared, it reminded me of what Lena had talked about at the beginning of this month. “Let’s talk about the discontent. There is an aggravated energy that is pushing us towards conflict or breakthrough, new insights and new solutions, and moving us through our discontent and maybe even anger. You must remember to accept this as an important energy that creates the necessary friction for a spark to take place that ignites a circumstance that creates a window for something new to happen and a resolution to be found.”

Okay, so hold that thought about discontent for a moment as we explore the Full Moon.

This month’s full moon is a glorious Super Moon in Virgo, also known as the Snow Moon and she comes with all her glory on Tuesday, February 19th. “This Super Full Moon is potent as it falls at zero degrees of Virgo. Zero is the number of potential and limitless opportunities. Zero is the blank canvas of all creation, signaling that this Full Moon is really going to offer infinite potential. This full moon is going to help us realise our potential and also the potential around us, it is also going to open us, broaden our horizons, and encourage us to open our minds and hearts to something beyond our current reality.” (Read that again, okay?)

“Creativity and inspiration are key words for this full moon and we need to give our imagination some room to play and dream. We can put off the organization of details as we remind ourselves that life is not all seriousness and growth. There needs to be time for the inner child to express through creativity without any attachment to a specific goal.

The needs for expansion, adventure and expression are alive and well and should be acknowledged as allies during this time. Any resistance you have to a little chaos should be let go on an exhale. Take a break, do something fun, give your creativity an outlet and share your gratitude and inspiration with others. With that said, it is also good to make a plan for organizing the details and giving some structure to what comes from imagination, inspiration and creativity.”

Thus, I have an invitation for you. What if you took any discontent you are feeling it and instead of focusing on the discontent you used that energy to really, really fuel your passions and creativity? What would happen? Wouldn’t that be a far better way to utilise it? Now you may be thinking – Jenny, easier said than done, but let’s try a little exercise. Think of those pockets of discontent (with no judgement attached), write them down on the left hand side of a piece of paper. Yes? Now reframe them to a positive and write those on the right hand side of the paper. So for example if an area of discontent were physical body and feeling blaugh and tired – reframe it to something you enjoy i.e. “I love walking in the woods or through the meadows, stretching my legs and filling my lungs up with fresh air.” Capeche?

For myself, one of my passions is gardening and growing things. However, with all the snow we have had and most everything getting cancelled I was getting pretty grumpy about the fact that my inner green thumb needed an outlet to play in. So, on Saturday there was a huge “Seedy Saturday” held at the Convention Centre here, the place was filled with plants, seeds, workshops, bees, honey and you could even rent a chicken! My friend Marja and I went and explored and bought little brown packets of unusual seeds, ogled the bees, picked up literature pertaining to gardening with native plants and I grabbed a huge bundle of lavender that you can cook with. When we got home with our treasure trove of promise we made a plan as to who would grow what and we would share, that way we both ended up with twice as many different plants. We then took the lavender and a shed ton of lemons (which is more than a truck load) and made 9 (yes 9!) lavender lemon pound loaves with a simple syrup of lemon and lavender. Oh My Goddess!!!! Divine, delicious, decadent, delightful and scrumdelicious! So by using the energy of my discontent and funnelling it towards my passion it has set all sorts of wheels in motion and planning galore! (Oh yes, and a great desire to have bees but not rent a chicken!)

So with the divine energy of this wonderful Super Moon in Virgo I invite you to play with the exercise above and when you have finished the reframe, take the left side of the paper (the discontent blurps), light a candle and burn the paper. Offer it up to become cosmic compost and welcome in the intentional energy of creation, activation and inspiration. Are you game?

Okay, enough chuntering from me, let’s dance over to the reading. When I went to my cards and asked who wanted to come support, guide and inspire the Oracle of Shadow and Light did a delightful tap dance to grab my attention. Positively perfect guides for the energy of this week. When I asked the crystals who wanted to join in it didn’t surprise me to see Black Moonstone – a powerful connector to the Divine Feminine, Brecciated Jasper – a wonderful grounding stone and helps with physical strength and vitality and last but not least, Moonstone – mystery, self discovery and the Goddess.

Okay, I invite you to take a moment or two just for you. Breathe in long and deep through your nose and out through your mouth. As you feel your shoulders settle, your jaw relax and your breathing lengthen invite in the question of passion. What are you passionate about? What can you reframe from discontent to passion? Let that energy flood up and when you are ready pick the card or cards that tug at you.

So my delicious lovely, remember to use the energy of this glorious Full Moon on Tuesday to really focus on what you want to create, to ignite your desires and passions. Ask yourself and your inner wise voice “What do I really want?” Write your list of releases and desires, light a candle – give yourself the time to filter and listen. Did you Remember to Remember?

Hello delicious lovely!! Happy Magnificent, Magickal, Manifesting, Majestic, Mesmerising, Mysterious, Memorable Monday! How are you on this glorious day?

Did you know that yesterday was the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day? (Which happened at the 11th hour on the 11th day in the 11th month in an 11 year!) Think about that. On Nov. 11, 1918, fighting in World War I came to an end following the signing of an armistice between the Allies and Germany that called for a ceasefire effective at 11 a.m.– it was on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. Yesterday marked the 100 years ago of the end of the First World War. Again, think about it. At that moment in time there was Peace and Hope of something different.

Personally, I think it is important to focus on those types of events, the ones that inspire Hope and Peace, and don’t get me wrong, there are all sorts of wars still being waged all over the world. But drop back into that space of Armistice, Hope and Peace – it is sooooo possible on every level in this world (at least that is my belief).

The other day I was in a grocery line up, with my butternut squash, Brussels and cheese (won’t that make an interesting meal), and wearing the Poppy that I always do for Remembrance Day – in fact this year I have bought 5 as I keep losing them or they dropped off. As I’m waiting in line for my turn the chap behind me started a rather odd debate with me about the wearing of a Poppy. He shared that he refused to wear one as it was a symbol of death to which I totally, 100% disagree. The Poppy to me is a symbol of Remembering those who bravely went to fight for our freedoms and well being. It is also a symbol of Hope, hope for our troops that are still deployed all over the world and Hope for a time of Peace. If you don’t know the story of the Poppy I felt compelled to go learn as much as possible and there is a great post here. As someone who was in the Military reserves and a reserve police officer and also having friends who were or still are in the military, let alone a father who was and a grandfather, I feel very strongly about the respect and honour that is due to those sacrifices and those that are still away from home.

Yesterday I went to a, new to me, Remembrance Day service in a community nearby and I have to say, the minute the bagpipes started playing I turned into a weeping person! There is something about the sound of bagpipes that pulls at my heart strings and dances through my soul and then tears start to flow! Does anyone else have this response? Because I was standing there with tears dripping down my face and not a tissue in sight! (This is where my mother’s voice kicks in and reminds me to always carry tissues upon one’s person.)

Today as I was talking to the cards and asking who would like to be present, the conversation with the gentleman in the grocery store burbled up and it really got me to thinking about Peace and Hope. So as I went for my early morning loop and yomp onto the beach, that conversation burbled and burbled some more and there was a feeling of defiance towards the gentleman who had declared the poppy as bad! When I came home feeling ocean refreshed and calm the deck that really bolted to the forefront was the Wild Kuan Yin Oracle. Now if this deck is new to you, or you can’t remember what it is about, let me tell you it is delicious. It is a very loving deck that is filled with divine defiance and an untamed heart – helping us humans move from conditioning to wild divinity. “Great spiritual beings are frequently known to thwart convention, not simply for the sake of it, but because they live in a reality beyond the limited mindsets of mainstream culture. They know that life is not what mainstream culture believes it to be. Within every human heart is the potential to take such a wild divine leap, but the courage it takes to break free from conditioning and stand apart from the crowd is enormous. There are challenges along the way, and yet the lure of freedom is so strong at a certain point on the spiritual path. There is a hunger for living beyond what we are told is possible, passionate push from the soul to live according to inner truths rather than social and cultural conditioning.” Thus, if this resonates for you, come along……. I will also say these are the hardest cards to take a picture of!

The crystals that wanted to join in are Ruby Zoisite, Cinabrite and Malachite – yes they do all end in “ite”. Oh yes, some of the beach treasures and the most bizarre piece of a Monkey Tree wanted to come join as well!

Before you pick a card I want you to allow in Peace. What is Peace? What does Peace within you, Peace from you and Peace all surrounding you look and feel like to you? So I invite you to take a moment, just a moment and breathe with that. As you take a glorious deep breath in through your nose vibrate the word Peace in your mind and as you exhale through an open mouth send out the intention of Peace & Hope to whomever or whatever you choose. Keep breathing in this way and repeating the vibration of Peace within you, Peace from you and Peace and Hope gently surrounding you. When you feel ready, gently open your eyes pick your card/cards and let’s go see who wants to come be with you this week.

THE SNOW SHEPHERDESS

I come to you with news of unexpected life. Something that seemed once impossible, without energy or hope of success, is coming to life. Not only is this an unexpected happening but it will be taking place when you think it is least likely. I come with the decree that life shall have its way, no matter what circumstances appear to dictate, and in the midst of great loss, scarcity or denial of life, a blessing of abundance, fertility and new beginnings will be given. So it shall be, by divine decree.

Life has its own power to prevail. Whilst abundance may be more obvious when we are in feast instead of famine, or in a lush jungle instead of a desert (whether or not an oasis looms over the next sandhill), life will happen even in the most unlikely situations. The small green shoot that sprouts out of a crack in a city pavement is an expression of life’s bold, prevailing will.

Your job is to not lose yourself in doubt, nor to grow attached to a particular outcome. It is to be curious and patient, to go about your life with the silent expectation within your heart that, somehow, things are going to work out – in ways you cannot necessarily see, sense or feel at the moment. Being told there will be a surprise doesn’t negate the surprise, but it does give us a chance to ignite hope which softens disappointment and despair. It allows us to have the courage to trust in what is coming, not enslaved by what has or has not had a chance to be.

Whatever it is you are dreaming or imagining, no matter how improbable it seems, how at odds with logic it may appear to be, or however many people look at you like you are mad when you share your dream with them – believe. Put your faith in life. Let go of how and when, but do not let go of your dream. Let life manifest it for you through its natural power, which is considerable, and its natural impulse towards growth.

THE PRINCESS OF RED POPPIES

I dwell in an expansive reality, beyond time and space, where the past has been, the future is yet to be, and what stretches out in all directions, with unlimited potential, is this living radiant moment. I bring you the gift of expanded perception, of freedom from the past, and an ability to simply be happy in the here and now, whilst my heartfelt blessings are drawing sweet success into your future.

The past is well and truly behind you now. Though at times you may struggle to feel free from what has once been, be assured that any power the past has held over you is rapidly coming to a close. Whilst there may be memories that arise – fond or painful – the “emotional charge” that these hold for you is fading away and it will soon be reduced to nothing.

The reason you are being blessed with freedom from the past is so that you may enjoy this present moment where the weaving of your future is already taking place. You are meant to be planting different seeds now for a different reality to be able to make itself known in your future. For this to happen, you must be freed from your attachment and fear of the past. You must be given a gift of release.

Whether or not you believe you still have unfinished business with matters from the past, whether it seems absolutely clear to you or not, The Princess of Red Poppies comes with karmic blessing: an ability to clear away any debris so that you are free. Do not hesitate to accept this gift. It only comes to you when it is the right time. Sometimes we need to make peace with the past by working through its nuances and recognise what we have learned and how we have grown. At other times, we have done all that we are capable of doing, and the time to move on is upon us, even if things don’t yet feel absolutely finished. This is one of those times for you. Accept this grace so that you can be ready for your future.

ANCHOR TO FLY

You dream of taking flight, of living with a heart free to soar, your whole being unfettered by restraint as you rise up to meet your destiny. You yearn to experience the next exhilarating level of your life expression, your path, your dreams. And so you shall. I am here to help anchor your growth, so that your highest aspirations can be seeded in this earthly world, transforming your hopes into reality, ensuring practical success for even your most transcendent, spiritually-inspired visions.

Trying to escape the world by hovering above it doesn’t help us bring our dreams to life. Fantasies, where the mind takes flight, can become the seeds of truly inspired ideas, but to transform those inspirations into reality we need to be grounded. What this means is putting in the time and effort for taking practical steps towards our goals. That does not include attempting to control life – including other people and their choices, or the timing of how and when the events in our life unfold. It does include completing tasks to the best of our ability and consciously choosing to let go if we find we are trying to force something to happen, trusting in the loving genius of a great and benevolent universe that wants our divine fulfillment to manifest.

Being grounded though doesn’t mean we give up desire and effort to learn how to take flight. What is meant by taking flight is the ability to feel free, to feel unfettered by negativity or doubt, to feel as though we are hurtling towards our destiny under the guardianship and guidance of the Divine, dreaming up beautiful, wild, exalted visions of delicious possibility with absolute trust. It is an exhilarating feeling of freedom, joy and expansiveness. It feels like flying!

When we do everything within our power to succeed whilst dropping all attachment, we are grounded and we can fly successfully. Without the effort, we waft away from the earth like a lost kite. Without detachment, we cannot rise from the earth and become weighed down by a distrustful need to control. We need the combination of effort and letting go with trust to become anchored enough to truly fly. Your heart is ready for this unconditional trust and the sense of lightness, freedom and joy it brings.

Have confidence in yourself and your work, in what you are capable of doing in the physical world. The desires you wish to manifest are placed in your heart for good reason. To bring them to life requires that you use all your skills and abilities. Don’t pull back from the challenge of that growth. Become so free of mind that whether your success comes to you in a few moments from now, or in a year or more, it matters not to you. You can make such a choice. And the more you let go, becoming light of mind, the more you can fly and the swifter your journey shall unfold. Let your head connect to the unlimited inspiration of the heavens and your feet stay grounded upon the earth, and enjoy your spiraling outwards into ever-increasing life, love and manifestation of your dreams – all whilst being guided and assisted by the Divine Mother.

Oh my gosh, I love how the cards reflect what is happening or the choices that are available. Life Prevails, Release the Past, Ground and Anchor. These are all conundrums that I am sure we have all experienced at one point or another. Interesting to see that the releasing the past with blessings involves poppies! That made me grin from ear to ear. So delicious lovely, I wish you a glorious week of waxing moon energy and the threads of Peace and Hope to weave through your day to day. Remember to breathe, smile as often as possible (it has a bigger impact than eating 100 chocolate bars!), move your body and offer out Peace, Hope and Love to all you meet this week. Including yourself in the mirror! Huge hugs and warm tea squeezes.

New Moon in Libra, Canadian Thanksgiving and It’s Good to be Back!!!

Happy Magnificent, Magickal, Marvelous, Magnetic, Manifesting Monday!! (By the way if you know of any magnificent M words, let me know!) To all the lovely Canadians out there “Happy Thanksgiving”, a glorious time to remember all the things to be grateful for, glorious food and a beautiful space to create new memories. We also celebrate the New Moon in Libra today, which is a delicious transformative New Moon. With it being governed by Libra, this is the element of air and this New Moon will feel like a burst of fresh air that will wake up your senses and remind you of what is really important. As Lena Stevens shares:- “This is an important moon for anchoring balance, grounding, and receiving the support of your allies. If you are in the place of ambivalence around a decision, you could gain some emotional clarity around issues you have been trying too hard to “think through”. It is important to take some time around this New Moon and focus on balance. It may mean taking some things that do not serve you off your plate and replacing them with some things that will serve you better. As you take inventory of your life at this time, ask yourself where you could use more support and help. Set some intentions to receive the support you need from the allies and the helpers that can give it.” If you have been looking to get out of a rut, looking to redo areas of your life or just looking for a greater sense of purpose, this New Moon is going to help. This New Moon is going to deliver the secret sauce you need in order to break through and raise your journey to new heights. This illumination won’t happen straight away, but if you pay attention, over the course of the next few weeks, you will be guided and supported.

All I can say is BRING IT ON! September was a heck of a month and I am happily releasing it like a lovely autumnal leaf falling from its branch, and I will say It is soooo good to be back! Also, I would like to say a huge thank you to all of you who emailed, messaged or texted asking me if everything was okay and sending me prayers and love. That was so incredibly amazing and I am exceptionally touched and grateful.

So briefly to fill you in somewhat on what happened, as most of you know on Solstice I set the intention to live by the ocean and a few other things, and wow did the Universe respond! Within 2 weeks I knew it was happening, so I built a huge workshop to store my things in, found a roommate situation (with a woman who seemed like she was relatively sane)- paid her a chunk of money, rented out my home, said goodbye to one of my lovely boys and my dogs and moved. This was big for me as I had been in the same spot for 29 years to ensure that my children had stability and continuity as they were growing up. Thus, I arrived on the Island on September 1st, super excited and nervous as well. I helped two of my boys move and get settled into their new space and then contacted my roommate about meeting and move in time and all the parameters had changed. Apparently she had rented out my space to students, so I was welcome to sleep on the sofa for a while until they left, I had to now park on the road instead of the driveway and it was only 2 hour parking, thus I would have to move my vehicle every two hours and no I couldn’t see the space as she was busy. Wow!

Red flags sprung up everywhere as I felt that the rug I had thought was there was being twisted, manipulated and ripped out from under my feet. I cried and cried and got rather angry with the Universe to be honest and advised this “delightfully manipulative” woman that there were too many red flags already and I hadn’t even moved in yet, thus please return my damage deposit as I won’t be moving there. Nope was the response. No money returned, angry emails and texts and all sorts of crazy behaviour. It was sooooooo bizarre. Thankfully the boys let me camp out on their sofa for a month, which I was very grateful for as I was totally flummoxed and in a high state of fight or flight with a massive desire to just run home. But I didn’t. However, my body responded by getting sick not just a gentle tummy ache, but unable to eat, felt awful and anxiety was rampant. I lost 11 lbs in 2 weeks. Then as that eased up I went and had lunch at my mother’s retirement community and ordered the safest thing on the menu – a toasted ham/cheese sandwich. When it arrived it was solid. I mean solid and hard and guess what? I took a bite, experienced massive pain in my mouth and it had split and fractured my tooth! (Seriously) So for another two weeks it was a liquid diet and the weight kept dropping. So in total 15lbs lost and if you know me that means I am down to 120lbs at 5ft 9” – it’s not pretty to say the least I’m also massively phobic about dentists and normally need to be highly medicated, but I put my big girl panties on – my niece came with me and held my hand and I let him have a look. Due to the fact that I hadn’t medicated he refused to pull the fractured piece out, instead advised me it was going to fall out any minute and so I should pull it out quickly otherwise it would lacerate my esophagus or fall into my lung!!!! WTF.

Thus, I had to ask my son to sterilise a pair of pliers and pull the chunk out for me, and bless his cotton soxs he did. It took 20 minutes (so much for it dropping out quickly), but he got it out with only a mild laceration to the lip and no pain. Talk about a trust exercise (and the fact I am not stellar at asking for help)!!!

During this time I was scrambling and looking at all sorts of places, some were glorious but highly overpriced, others would send me to a psych ward if I had to live in them, as they were dark, dank and dingy. Finally I found a cute little old house that was only 3 blocks from the ocean and I could have it October 1st! Whoot! Excited puts it mildly. It FELT amazing, it FELT perfect, safe, cosy and just the right spot. But hang on, I have no furniture, absolutely nothing as I was meant to be moving into a furnished place. Hmmmmmm.

So I played a game – can I furnish a house in a tasteful, functional way for $300? Everyone I told this to said no. All I can say is that the abundance that flowed in was incredible. Friends gave me lamps, dishes, kitchen utensils, cushions, blankets, candles – all sorts. I found a new bed for $60 which came with brand new sheets, an Italian leather love seat for $40 and was gifted a new sewing machine and a $4K leather, brass studded sofa! I was gifted a cute kitchen table and chairs and one glorious friend painted an amazing picture that hangs over my mantelpiece. It was amazing! I didn’t quite make the $300, instead it was more like $450 – but seriously, that is amazing. So you are all welcome to come visit!

A week ago I moved in and wow! I have a garden to play in, I am doing a 40 day meditation/prayer where I walk a 5km circuit bright and early through the massive park, down to the beach, along the beach until I find “the rock” that calls to me. I then pick the rock up, park my arse down and offer up thanks, prayer and stillness. I think walk along the beach and circle round and back in time for tea at 7am. I have space to work and create, a place to invite friends over and I’m not sleeping on a sofa! (Though it was a very comfie sofa)

So my take away from this whole experience.

Most certainly ask the Universe/Divine for what you want, set your Intentions, don’t get freaked out when they don’t unfold as you thought they would. I do think the Universe likes to test and challenge you to see if your serious – don’t run. Trust, trust, trust, oh yes and when you can get out of your head, use the tools – trust, show up, believe, be willing to receive and take action. Find the miracles in the mundane and know that the drama llamas are transitory.

Now that I have shared all that, let’s crack on with the reading. When I asked the decks who wanted to show up this week I laughed my soxs off when I saw it was The Divine Circus Oracle. Why? Let me share with you the dedication if you have never encountered this delicious deck:- “This deck is for those who find it hard to follow rules, conform, bend to authority and generally ‘do what they are told’. (So if you pick the card based on the colour of the crystal this will be most interesting). Rosemary, Lavender and Purple Sage also wanted to join in, which to me is positively perfect!

Thus, I invite you to take a moment, a pause, a long breath and just be with yourself at this moment. There is a lovely guided visualisation for you if you would like some more support with getting present and really celebrating you and the energy of this time.

If not, just breathe, breathe long and deep and roll your shoulders up, back and down. When you are ready ask, ask whatever you feel called to or trust that the Divine will guide you to the message that is meant for you. Then pick the card or cards that resonate for you. Enjoy!

Bells are ringing from deep inside. Something that once had to hide is seeking your attention. It want out! It wants to be free! As you release what was once shut away, your discomfort shall turn to glee. You are a spiritual adventurer! You are not afraid to go to the edge of what you know, of who you have believed yourself to be. Even when before you there lies the darkness of unknown worlds, of undiscovered parts of you, even when you feel uncertainty, discomfort or doubt, you are still willing to figure out what it’s all about,

Don’t be afraid to let there be some inner rattling and rampaging. You are at a time when you are naturally diving into the darkness for a healing purpose. So ask the difficult questions. First Monday of August, the Energy has Shifted and another Eclipse on the Way!

Happy Magnificent, Magickal Marvelous First Monday of August! Here in BC it is a lovely Civic Holiday so a day when lots of people have been enjoying a delicious, lovely long hawt, hawt weekend. I personally spent yesterday going up and down a ladder 256 times in the day in 40C weather, (have to say my left arse cheek was exceptionally sore by the end of it all lol). Why? I spent yesterday putting up rafters and huge sheets of plywood on the roof of the large workshop/shed I’ve been building as I want it finished! (I get a tad myopic on projects some times).

So at the beginning of the month we always talk about the “energy” of the month, why? The energy of the month is what flows and weaves through each day, then layered on top of that or woven into it are the energies of the seasons, the celebrations, the eclipses and of course the New and Full Moon.

If you remember, July was all about “Mature Responsibility in Unpredictable Times”, June was about “Discipline and Follow Through”. Well August is all about “Creative Pragmatism” what does that mean?

As Lena shares – “August is a complex month supporting you to think outside the box. We have an opportunity for new creative insights, help from unexpected sources, and a new determination to step forward and show up with choices that are mature and practical. Your experience this month will be much more positive if you keep your eyes on your own goals, stay in your own lane, and don’t get distracted by the accidents and drama you may see around you on the side of the road. The questions to ask yourself over and over again this month are, “Is it creative enough, or is it the same old way of thinking?” “Is it practical and grounded?” “Am I staying in my own lane, or am I getting sucked into a drama that is not mine?” “Am I keeping good boundaries? Floating over this monthly energy is the upcoming Partial Solar Eclipse on Saturday August 11th, this is the 3rd one in a month! (How are you doing with it all?) Remember, that eclipse time is about bringing things to light and we have had a lot brought to light, however, with it being a solar eclipse this is more internal, this is deep and waiting to be brought out to the light. Please remember with 3 eclipses in a row “Ready or not, the winds of change are blowing. Eclipses bring the unexpected, forcing us into action. Repeat after me: Change can be a good thing.”

So a note here – for those who are part of our amazing community there will be an email coming out to you on Friday with great information on how to really harness and relax into this big energy shift (oh yes and stay relatively sane lol). Also, as so many of you have asked for readings with all this “stuff” swirling around and you want to gain more clarity and direction, I want to make this easy and accessible for everyone. Okay, so let’s crack on with the reading. I took the time to sit outside today to write and do the reading and it was gorgeous. The sun was shining, the plethora of sunflowers that the birds seeded, were all bobbing their glorious heads and tracking the sun. I had a huge crow and her two large babies come and land on my table and cock their heads and watch me for a few minutes and the humming birds and bees buzzed around frantically through the various flowers gathering the pollen. It was positively the most perfect place to be at that moment in time.

When I asked the cards and crystals who wanted to come out and shine brightly I laughed with delight when The Divine Circus Oracle sauntered her way out of the decks, strutting her stuff and giggling. Of course, in this eclipse energy and the Fire energy of Early Summer life becomes a Circus. Then it was fascinating to watch which crystals stepped up and for the first time EVER all three are Amethyst, all in different forms. Hmmm. Why? Amethyst is a wonderful crystal of protection, prosperity and for helping you manage your emotions so that you can take right action. Well that actually sounds perfect! There is also a glorious Selenite wand for amplification. Oh yes! And the flowers, there was a bit of a conversation going on between the flowers and the herbs, so they reached a compromise. Hummingbird flowers came to join along with lemon balm (which has been eaten, nom!)

I also crafted a fun guided visualisation based on sunflowers (which make me smile), if you feel so inclined, to help you really get rooted and reach for the sun. If that doesn’t resonate for you just breathe into your body, give everything a wiggle and slow your breath down and invite your trusted wise self to have a moment to surface and ask what it is you need to know.

The Universe has a sense of humour, but never at your expense. It is laughing with you, not t you. Deep within, you know what is true and what to do (or not do). Yet there is so much noise and distraction in the world, and even at times in our own minds, that listening for our inner wisdom can seem like trying to hear gentle birdsong in the midst of a rock concert. Even so, you are hearing an inner truth, and deep down, you know it. Can you trust that it is safe to not only hear your inner voice but act on it too?

There is something that you know. You’ve felt, sensed, heard or realised this truth more than once. Even if others see or feel differently, you just know what you know, even if you don’t quite know how you know it!

Know that they’re worth acting on, even if that action just means to trust more and stop worrying. So I do feel compelled that I should clear something up. A while ago I had a reader email me asking “if I sifted through a deck, picked the cards I thought might work and then wrote to the cards, subbing in what needed to to make it all aligned.” Good question, however, to be honest I was appalled and gob smacked!

That would never even occur to me to do. So I shared with this lovely humanoid my process – I start writing the preface whilst surrounded by all of my decks and crystals and then decks and crystals make themselves known. I then smudge everything, get very grounded – open myself up to Spirit and become a conduit and the reading happens. The reason I share this story, is please don’t ever doubt yourself, your gifts or the messages (however they come to you). With this glorious sun energy, fire energy (remember that is about Passion) and all the rest of it. Step up, don’t doubt and shine gorgeous one. Shine. Partial Solar Eclipse in Cancer! Which raises the question – What does Home mean to you?

Hello, hello my delicious lovely! Happy Marvelous, Magnificent, Manifesting, ‘Mazing Monday! (Yes, ‘mazing is a word or at least it is now.) How the heck are you? How are you finding working with this gorgeous Fire and Passion season? Remember, if you find yourself getting too hot, overwhelmed and frustrated then take a little time to cool off both literally, figuratively, mentally and energetically. There are some super easy pranayama’s that help cool the mind, the body and the energy. A super simple one is to curl your tongue like a straw, let it stick out of your mouth breathe in slowly through your tongue straw, close your mouth, hold and exhale through your nose. Very cooling. Here the last week was rainy and cooler, I had gone and bought a ton of wood to build a shed and ended up tarping the back of the yard to keep the wood dry. Within about 3 days it was baking hot and I still haven’t taken the tarp down as it now provides shade whilst I build! Even the dogs are hiding out there or in the house, or under the deck! So make sure if you feel heated you back off and cool it down a tad.

I had a very cool experience this last week and wow, if you doubt that the Universe is paying attention – let me write a reference for the Divine, she is listening very clearly and avidly. What I have noticed in the last few years of magnificent manifestation is clarity is key! Phrase it clearly, put emotion behind it, forget the “how’s” or how it should look and trust. An example. 2.5 years ago I put something out there, very loosy goosy and rather vapid, last August I put it out there again with a bit more umph but my ego was most certainly getting in the way. On Solstice by the ocean I put it out there again with clarity, confidence and certainty. Wow! 14 days later the Universe rolled out a series of events that were literally like a bulldozer clearing the path for me and saying – You asked, we listened, are you bold enough? Hells to the Yes!!!! (Though terrified as well!) So exciting adventures will be ensuing!

As I mentioned last week, we are heading into Eclipse season, and our first one is a solar eclipse on Thursday July 12th. This delicious Eclipse happens in the soft and tender sign of Cancer at the New Moon. Now Cancer is the sign of “home”, that doesn’t necessarily mean a structure, it’s that feeling of where we belong, who our tribe is, who is our community, our work, do you feel at home in your body. Yes? Now if you remember I mentioned last week that Eclipse’s bring all sorts of beautiful things to light, those feelings that have been hidden or stuffed, the dreams/aspirations that you’ve tucked into a box as “they don’t feel practical”. If you have been feeling a bit out of sorts, nostalgic, a tad fragile emotionally, reflective or confused then you are feeling the energy of the eclipse.

So when I asked the cards who wanted to work with us all, guide, support, inspire and help us with this very transformative energy the Divine Circus Oracle literally jumped so high that it was like a hand to the forehead! This is a gorgeous deck for the bold, the ones that find it hard to follow the rules “What is life if not a Divine Circus? Life might seem ordinary at times, yet when we look more closely, it is bursting with creative diversity, constantly evolving, pulling rugs out from underneath our feet and opening doors we couldn’t even see were right there before us a moment earlier. “

Funnily enough before the crystals, the first things that insisted on coming to participate where the glorious Hansa roses (if you have never smelled one you need to find one!), and mint. Why mint? Mint is a glorious cleanser and abundance attractor, pop a leaf or two in your wallet or purse and see what happens….

The crystals that came to play are Rose Quartz – to remind us to not stuff the feelings, numb or avoid, but to feel and know your heart is strong. Indigo Gabbro – helps unearth deep rooted issues in your psyche, it knows and gets you, it sees your weaknesses and totally understands your strengths, and strips away the false facades you have built up around you. Smoky Quartz – is amazing for balancing and grounding as well as helping you to vibrate at your fullest potential as it releases negative emotions. Wow! The perfect cards and crystals for the first eclipse.

Thus, I invite you to just take a few moments for yourself, to nourish yourself, get clear and to breathe. Breathe into your belly, into all the corners and down deep into your toes. Let’s practice the nice cooling breathe of breathing in through your curled tongue or pursed mouth long and slow and holding for two and then breathing it out through your nose. As you breathe, feel your jaw relax, your scalp relax and your shoulders drop. There is nothing that you need to do right at this minute, this time is for you.

Then when you feel ready pick the card or cards that resonate or whisper to you.

WHITE DUCHESS

DEATH SHALL NOT TAKE HIM

You are going to witness the impossible made possible. Whatever you think is lost, is not. Whatever you think cannot be, shall be. The universe is going to intervene and what seems to be over, shall in a new way, live again.

Sometimes, just when you think it’s all over, the eleventh hour comes. You can practically hear the opening chords of your swan song, and when you have finally given up, suddenly, somehow, right before your eyes, everything changes – just like that. You were free-falling and then, suddenly, you are soaring. Fate steps in, destinies are altered and life demonstrates its creative, restorative power, even if all seemed lost.

No matter how defeated you feel, no matter how many dead ends you’ve encountered, how many setbacks, how many failures, no matter how impossible success may seem, the universe has your back and is going to right things in your favour. You will succeed. So if you really must (sigh) doubt for one more moment – go ahead, then replace doubt with trust and participate in the divine defiance of life refusing to be stepped on or crushed. Why not just frigging relax and bear witness to the universe’s impressive display of life-giving power with reverence and delight? Gorgeous one – get out of your own way!

DUKE OF SHADOWS

Cunningly clever am I, helping you discern the truth from the lie. I remind you that half truths may seem to be whole, yet in the shadows is information yet to be known. When the time is right, the light shall be bright, and confusion will give way to understanding.

You are being invited to be patient. This is a cautionary card, not to inspire concern, but rather to inspire curiosity. There is more to a situation, person, opportunity, or even an apparent absence of activity or success, than meets the eye. You could imagine it being like the universe has another card up its sleeve and is yet to show its full hand. A process has been set in motion but is “under the radar” of your awareness. Something is happening, even if that doesn’t appear to be the case. But just like a seed starts to grow into a plant, deep in the earth, apparently invisible and yet very real, you are being subjected to invisible but real forces of growth and healing at this time.

Because you cannot know what you don’t know, you will need to wait for more information to come to you. So if what you see, sense or feel is negative right now, don’t believe it! Things are going to shift and change and there will be a surprising twist in your life. Though you don’t see it coming, another piece of your life puzzle is going to reveal itself soon. It will help solve a difficulty or question you have been holding in your heart.

Secondly, remember to be gentle with yourself this week, try to find little pockets of time where you can explore what you’re feeling and as New Moon approaches play with getting some clarity on an issue, or situation that you would like to see manifest. Oh yes, remember, if you find yourself getting over heated whether due to hot weather, or energetically, practice the cooling breath, drink water and find a nice spot in the shade where you can put your feet in the grass!
