Equinox

My Birthday, Equinox and a giftie for You!

Jenny Heston · 4:14 pm ·

Happy Marvellous, Metaphysical, Magical, Mysterious, Musical, Manifesting, Mabon, Monday!

How was your glorious Virgo New Moon?  Did you take time to breathe in that rich Earth Goddess energy and make some wishes/intentions?

I am so excited as Equinox is just around the corner! Here in the Northern Hemisphere we are celebrating Mabon, which is Fall.  In the Southern Hemisphere it is Ostara – Spring!  Two of my most favourite seasons!

So grab a nice strong cuppa, snuggle up and let’s go explore  Mabon and My birthday gift to YOU! shall we?

In case you didn’t know Equinox or Mabon falls on September 22nd (my birthday!) and is a powerful time of abundance and celebrating the bounty you have.

The Autumn Equinox is the 2nd of only 2 days through the year when the Earth is in perfect balance.  On the Equinox, day and night are equal.  But in autumn, the sun is waning and the days are now shorter than the night.

The equinox is that delicious place of  balance, gratitude and bounty – both inner and outer!  In celebrating Mabon we give ourselves time to focus on gratitude and open our hearts to the great natural world around us.  Gratitude is so empowering and healing:  it helps us to create a conscious connection with each other and the universe and see our life’s journey as an endless cycle of in-breath and out-breath, of giving and receiving.

We are beginning to turn inward. This is a time of balance just as it is for the natural world around us. We feel the coming of the darkness and are pulled towards our spiritual side in a new way.

A couple of great questions to ask yourself are – Where do I need Equinox’s balance in my life right now?  What am I being called to let go of for myself this season?

Mabon is often referred to as “Witches Thanksgiving ” (no, it doesn’t mean you have to be a witch).  It means it’s the second harvest festival on the wheel of the year, a time to give thanks for the bounty in your life, to release the things that you may have outgrown and to be grateful and count your blessings!  Yes?

Counting our Blessings is a powerful practice and something I do every morning on the beach or in the woods!

Not only do we count our blessings, it’s also important to take time to reflect on our triumphs from the year and acknowledge what we’ve worked hard to grow and harvest.  We need to remember to feel proud of our accomplishments.  However, in order for new growth to occur in the spring, things must die in the autumn.

Many of you have emailed and asked if there is going to be a Mabon Magickal Manual this year, HECK YES!  She is quite lovely and the perfect way to guide and support you into breathing in the essence of abundance, the change of season and awakening to all its meanings.

As Equinox is my birthday, my gift to you is the most delicious Mabon Magickal Manual (fondly known as MMM), where you get to pick the price!

(Yes, I did say that outloud).

She has 46 pages of pure magick, myth, oracle spreads, rituals, practices, how to work with the glorious archetype of this season (and she is an amazing one) and so much more!  All to help you come into balance and harvest exactly what you need at this time!

Thus, she will be available from today until I come back from my birthday trip where I am going to  explore Salt Spring Island with all my kids and their partners.  My plans are to play, explore, dance, weave with the energies and  hike the fairy door trail (and maybe take one to leave there).

So with all the chuntering, let’s crack on.  As you allow your breathing to slow down a tad, and come back into your body.  I invite you to just BE and BREATHE, allowing everything else to just drop away for this moment.  Then when you are ready ask your wise inner where is the balance I need at this time of year?

Then when you are ready – pick.

Let’s go see who wants to share with you this week.

HUMMINGBIRD DREAMS

The Smallest

Even those who seem the least to us have their dreams.  The tiniest and the weakest have their place in the Universe just as we do.  They have a special job that only they can do, a place that only they can fill.  There is no one being that is more important or more worthy than another, regardless of the form in which they choose to express themselves in life.

We marvel at the tiniest hummingbird.  How can it move its wings so rapidly that it can hover in one spot and then fly off in a split second?  What strength and agility it has.  What diving form!  It’s hard to believe that something so tiny can bring so much beauty and wonder.

If you are feeling small and insignificant, remember your uniqueness. The only shoes you have to fill are your own and they fit you just fine!

There are no insignificant people, none who are less whole than another.  Eliminate prejudices and judgements whether cast upon yourself or another.  If you feel that someone is not up to your standards, then realise that is what you are projecting upon them.

Change your perception and see them truly as they are…a reflection of the Divine, just as you are.

Spirit expresses through us all in its own way.  It’s not for us to second-guess.

If you are feeling less than whole, remember your divine birth and take comfort in knowing that you are divinely perfect.  Pursue your dreams and know that you are divinely guided.  Have faith in your dreams and your abilities.

I am a unique being.

There is no other like me.

My purpose is my own to fulfil.

No one else can do this.

Spirit expresses through me,

In a way that only I can give expression.

My gifts to the world are mine alone to give.

I am in divine harmony with all life.

So be it!

Take time to notice the smallest things today.

WISHING YOU HEALTH

Wholeness

If you find yourself wishing for your wholeness, then it’s time to do whatever it takes to break the spell of dis-ease whether it be on a physical, mental or spiritual level.  All these levels must work together in order for you to be the best that you can be.

There must also be acknowledgment that lack of wholeness, or the feeling that something is missing, is all just an illusion.

First understand your divine perfection, that you are now and have always been whole!  Bring that wholeness down and merge it into your body.  Treat your body well with a good diet, exercise and loving thoughts.

If it is time for a checkup, then go get one.  There is always something you can do to honour your body and make it a happier place to reside.  Sometimes you have to place yourself above others in order to get proper rest and to ease out the tensions in your life.  This is not a selfish act, as you must be in tiptop condition in order to give your best to yourself and others.

Forgive yourself and others for any past deeds, as holding onto these regrets takes a lot of energy that could be used elsewhere.

Move forward.  Love yourself!  Know that you are worthy of good health and happiness!

I am worthy of good rest.

I am worthy of good food.

I am worthy of good health.

I am worthy of the good in life.

So be it!

Call a friend today!

LIGHTING THE WAY

Illumination

We all wish for guidance and help along the way, yet sometimes guidance comes from within.  When we connect to the energy of Spirit that resides within each of us, we see clearly what we are to do.  Reach for the stars!

Allow that communication with Spirit to connect you to your highest good.

Connecting to Spirit is as easy as recognising that you are already one with the Universal Power.  Strengthen your trust in your Divinity.

Ultimately, you are to be the one who shows others the way.  You hold the light for them as they climb the path of illumination.

In order to do so you must continue your own journey in learning and refining your own truth.  It is only through example that we can change our world, one person at a time.  But if enough people hold the light, in enough places, we can bring about change at a much more advanced rate.

This glorious faery holds the lantern for all to see, so that anyone who wishes to climb the path can better see the footholds and avoid the pitfalls.  She has reached the highest peak.  Her face shows that she takes her job seriously.

Guidance can come in many forms…the words of a friend or loved one, or of a professional counselor.  Guidance can come from a book or a stranger’s words.

Listen to what information comes your way, then sit with it and meditate on it.  You will get a sense as to whether it is valid for you or not, if you are open and willing to hear your truth.  You may be destined to teach or counsel others.

Each step of my journey is illuminated and sure.

I move with trust and confidence.

I welcome the chance to light the way for others.

I hold the light high.

So be it!

Light a candle for someone today!

Oh my gosh, I so, so, so love the cards.  Perfect for this moment in time!  So most delicious one, please take a moment to breathe in gratitude and like a tree, allow the leaves of release to drop like cosmic compost. Remember the Mabon Magickal Manual  birthday gift and I will see you in two weeks!  Big hugs and squeezes.

Equinox is Coming! And we say Goodbye to Winter!

Jenny Heston · 4:44 am ·

Happy, Happy Magickal, Marvellous, Magnificent, Merry, Manifesting March Monday!

Whoot! Whoot!  March is here and I am thrilled (trust me if you could see the happy dance I am doing you would laugh).

I am thrilled because the wild daffs are out, there are carpets of vibrant crocus amongst the Garry Oaks, the forsythia is in full glorious bloom and this all means that Spring is coming!

Which it is!  Which heralds a new astrological cycle and Equinox!

A week today here in the Northern Hemisphere we have Spring Equinox (aka Ostara).

I am celebrating by leading an in person circle, for the first time since moving here, a glorious Equinox circle in Creatrix Circle, and a circle for a wonderful colleague!

(So can you say – focused and wiggly excited!!)

Now you may be shaking your head and thinking – yeah, so what Jenn.  Oh little one, Spring Equinox is a huge energetic time as it’s the time of Birth.  The Birth of ideas, goals, desires, dreams and hope.

It’s the time to plant seeds literally and figuratively.

It’s a time of growth, hopefulness, lightness of being and spirit, and things that warm our innermost hearts as much as the glorious spring sunshine does the outdoor world.

For myself my whole mind, body and soul responds to the seasons and I have found that when I allow that alignment with the cycles of nature as a practice it is exceptionally transformative.

This is a huge part of the reason why I create the Magickal Manuals for the seasons and celebrations!  So currently there is the glorious Ostara Magickal Guide and the Mabon Magickal Manual.

Our bodies know, it’s built into our Ancestral memory and our DNA.

There was a time when we were deeply connected to these rhythms, but, over time, technology and our modern culture has separated us from those celestial vibes and our own inner knowing.  (Think about it, when you are surrounded by 8 feet of snow in winter time, are you craving a salad?  I don’t believe so!)

However, before we barrel into celebrating Spring it’s important to recognise that the changing seasons are a meaningful time of reflection.

And as much as we like to look forward (what will the new season bring? how do I want to grow & expand in the months ahead?), it’s equally important to look backward.

It’s important to look back on the chapter that’s ending, before a new one begins.

How can you truly integrate your experiences if you’re so eager to just move forward?

How can you integrate the lessons you learned from the things that challenged you, if you just keep facing forward – never pausing to reflect before jumping into the next new chapter of adventures & experiences??

This time at the end of winter is a liminal space: it might not fully feel like winter anymore, but it also doesn’t fully feel like spring. We’re in an in-between time, a time of transition. And it is the PERFECT time to look back on winter & reflect on the wisdom this season brought you.

And when you take the time to do this kind of meaningful reflection, you’re able to move forward into spring a bit wiser, a bit more evolved – and better prepared to truly embrace the powerful growth energy about to flood into your life.

Here are some really insightful, empowering questions to ask yourself here at the end of winter:

  • What inner wisdom did you gather on your journey inward this winter? What did you learn about yourself?
  • What challenged you this winter? Where have you felt uncomfortable or out of sorts?
  • What lessons did you learn? About yourself & about your life??
  • Where is it clear you are ready to grow?

Okay, I have chuntered on (which I tend to do when passionate about something that is life changing).  So let’s crack on with the reading.

This week we have lovely, delicious new guides who wanted to come play and they made me smile.  As they are the glorious guides of the “Herbal Astrology Oracle.”  So please, let me introduce you.

As above, so below.  As within, so without.  Today, many of us seek to reclaim the sense of connectedness that existed universally in ancient cultures, when human fate was wholly entwined with nature.

The world was seen as a symbiotic entity in which all living organisms interacted and supported each other, from the innermost cellular level to the outermost cosmological level.  An essential bridge is being rebuilt between humans and nature, allowing us to access the realm of the transcendent and the land of the luminous.

Herbalism is the medicine of belonging, a gateway through which we keep alive a very sacred aspect to our source.

Perfect guides as we move to Equinox!

There is a lovely guided visualisation to help you tap into the Spring Energy and really strengthen your intentions if you so choose.

If not, just breathe.  Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth and allow yourself to settle in.  Then when you are ready see in your mind’s eye a glorious young green shoot.  This is your intention, your desire – invite it in and as you breathe into this gorgeous green being pick the card or cards that whisper to you.

Did you remember to pick?

Shall we go look?

RUE

Protection

Rue is known as the “Herb of Grace” or the “Blessed Herb”.

In Spanish it is known as ruda, and in Greek, it is reuo, which means to “set free”.

Rue is considered a powerful and protective plant with a long and detailed historical use in both medicine and ceremonial rituals.  Early physicians considered Rue a vital remedy against plagues, pestilence, and poison.

Rue is said to be the herb of angels, granting us the ability to channel the angelic realms.

It emanates golden energy, like a Lion, powerfully protecting and pouring in light into any space that it inhabits.  Resilient like the wide array of Solar herbs, it grows generously and abundantly, thriving in all kinds of terrain, demonstrating its strong life force and vitality.

Rue has come to remind you to protect your aura from lurking and unhealthy people, spirits or situations that might be consuming your energy.

Don’t allow parasitic negativity to darken your field, which can create perpetual states of self-criticism, self-doubt, or self-loathing.

Call upon Rue’s power to shield your body with angelic forces and restore radiance, vitality, and love in your atmosphere.

Rue is ruled by the Sun and Pluto.

TULSI

Wealth

The Tulsi Goddess sits proudly facing her beautiful Peacock, symbolising heaven on Earth.

She raises her arms with grace, aiming them like wands to catalyse magic and wealth.

The fountain is centred between the Goddess and the Peacock, representing the wellspring created between Earth, the manifest world, and Heaven, the spirit world.

Peacock embodies the medicine of auspiciousness, magic, and beauty, reminding us that we are the living gateway to the greatest of mysteries.

Tulsi has come to you today to teach you that the key to Jupiter’s doorway (abundance and wisdom) is to live, create, and communicate from a place of wonder, innocence, and impeccability (Mercury), rather than doubt or confusion.

Don’t be fooled by material possessions or the vanity often worshipped in the material world.

Tune into the deeper realities that abound around you; be spontaneous and celebrate your temple just as you are.

Tulsi, also known as Tulasi, is frequently mentioned as one of the main pillars of herbal medicine in ancient Ayurvedic texts, some dating back to as far as 5000 BC.

It is known as the “Incomparable One”, the “Queen of Herbs,” and the “Mother Medicine of Nature.”

With its ability to enhance cerebral circulation and memory, Tulsi greatly embodies the archetype of Mercury, the great communicator who governs our conscious mind, perception, understanding along with primarily the nervous system, and respiratory system.

PALO SANTO

Guardian

Palo Santo is a protective wand that grants us the power of unlocking innate gifts that have laid dormant, inactive, or blocked.

Palo Santo, like the Fox, is here to assist you as a spirit guide, who helps you navigate the spirit world.

The Sechuran Foxes, native to South America, nestle among the desert forest of Palo Santo for shelter, living in symbiosis with these precious trees.

Foxes are symbolic of the afterlife, invisibility, and the sacred trickster.

Palo Santo neutralises the venom of dark tricksters and alchemises its poison into gold; becoming the sacred trickster.

Palo Santo is here to remind you to activate your dormant gifts.

You are a guardian of the sacred that has walked many paths; know that you can neutralise the greatest poisons, back talk, smack talk and most certainly outwit the smartest of tricksters.

Palo Santo’s medicinal qualities  are very Plutonic in nature, as it powerfully cleanses malignant energy, while being highly invocatory and perfect for strong intention setting.

Palo Santo has a long history of use as a magic wand that unlocks innate gifts that have lain dormant, inactive, or blocked, like wisdom, intuition, and sight to see into the past and past lives.

Wow, what glorious messages and guidance as we play with the building Spring Equinox energy!  By the way, thank you for all your lovely messages and shares, I soooo appreciate hearing how you are.  Remember to gift yourself one of the Magickal Manuals to embody this energy fully.  Sending you massive squeezes, warm sunbeams and a bouquet of bobbly daffodils.  See you next week! (Maybe lol).

Mabon Apple Magick!

Jenny Heston · 4:22 pm ·

The autumn equinox is a powerful time to cultivate balance, and as it is the second harvest before the fallow period of winter, it is an especially potent time to balance what we take in or harvest versus what we release.

What you will need:

Your Intention.
An apple.

Slice an apple in half (not through the stem end) to reveal the five-pointed star inside, a powerful symbol of balance among the elements.

Choose one half to represent what you wish to harvest; the other half will represent what you wish to release.

Hold the releasing half of the apple in your hands and bring to mind the situations, thoughts, etc., that no longer serve you.

Send them into the apple, then compost or bury it, giving thanks for this process of release.

Hold the other half while you bring to mind all that you wish to welcome into your life, sending it into the apple. Then eat the apple, giving thanks for this bountiful harvest.

Super easy, super powerful if your intention is there, and fun to do with kids!

Mabon, Fall Equinox and a gorgeous giftie just for you.

Jenny Heston · 7:31 pm ·

I love Fall, the colours, it’s as if Nature is getting all dressed up and inviting us to celebrate and appreciate all the gifts and bounty we have received (think fields filled with gorgeous fat orange pumpkins).  The smell of the air, and the crispness of the early mornings, the harvest fairs and there is a sense of urgency in the air. For me there is also a melancholy that goes with Fall as I watch the trees release their gorgeous leaves and the ground starting to frost and chill, there is a sense of loss as the snow is coming and the clouds are going to drop down.

Autumnal equinox offers us delicious lessons that run parallel with our lives.  Think about it; the first lesson is the balance of the dark with the light. On the equinox night and day are in perfect equal balance and as human beings we are invited to balance our own inner dark and light.  Joyce Rupp, a Catholic writer and poet challenges us to befriend our inner darkness: “I gratefully acknowledge how darkness has become less of an enemy for me and more of a place of silent nurturance, where the slow, steady gestation needed for my soul’s growth can occur. Not only is light a welcomed part of my life, but I am also developing a greater understanding of how much I need to befriend my inner darkness.”

Another lesson is that of Impermanence.  Spring brought the glorious buds, Summer brought the flowers and expansion and now Autumn brings the leaves falling and bare branches.  Things change and they move through their cycles, they don’t stay in one space. Imagine if you were a flower and you had gone through your budding process into your glorious blossoming period and then it was demanded of you that you continually stayed in that state.  It isn’t sustainable, you need to be able to turn inward, nourish your roots, cocoon if you will so that you can go into another state of budding and blossoming.

The last lesson I see that autumnal equinox reminds us of is Letting Go.  Think of the gorgeous leaves that gently flutter down to the ground. The tree isn’t trying to cling onto them, nor are the leaves struggling to stay where they are, they are gently released and offered back to the earth to nourish the soil.  With this we are reminded that fall is a fabulous time for putting down our burdens, for letting go of things that no longer serve us and to get out of our way and allow Spirit/Universe/God to take charge for a while.

(Can you tell I am passionate about Fall and the Equinox!)

So as a birthday gift for you I have created the Mabon Magick Manual.  It is packed with information, ideas, rituals and for those of you bold enough – a spell.  Before you download, you might want to take a moment to centre, ground and get present.  So I have a lovely visualisation for you.  Imagine you are a tree!

Ostara, Spring Equinox and 3 Easy Rituals.

Jenny Heston · 1:01 am ·

Spring Equinox is the time for birth or rebirth, it also represents the element of Air.  This is the best time of the year to start new projects, focus your goals for the year, and plant the seeds for what you want to achieve.  Don’t expect rapid movement, though, since things have to get going at their own pace (which could be fast, since many plants in spring seem to just appear from nowhere, but could also be slow, like a tulip poking its head gradually from the ground.)

Spring Equinox, also known as Ostara or Vernal Equinox is a point of perfect balance on the journey through the Wheel of the Year. Night and day are of equal length and in perfect equilibrium – dark and light, masculine and feminine, inner and outer, in balance. But the year is now waxing and at this moment light defeats the dark. The natural world is coming alive, the Sun is gaining in strength and the days are becoming longer and warmer. It is the first day of Spring! Ostara takes its name after the Germanic goddess, Eostre/Ostara, who was traditionally honoured in the month of April with festivals to celebrate fertility, renewal and re-birth. It was from Eostre that the Christian celebration of Easter evolved, and indeed the naming of the hormone Estrogen, essential to women’s fertility. The Goddess Ostara has the shoulders and head of a hare.

This is a time when the goddess is the Maiden in all her youthful glory, the god is reaching manhood, and energy abounds.  So why not tap into that energy to bring the light into your own darkness, if you have any? For example spring cleaning is not just about your home, it’s about removing old or negative energies accumulated over the dark winter months to prepare you for glorious growth.  It’s about planting seeds of intention, seeds of growth, seeds of food – it’s about shedding that heavy winter coat and picking up something a tad lighter and a bit more fun.

If we were to look through multiple cultures, Spring Equinox has, and is, a glorious time of welcoming in the light, celebrating the rebirth or creation of new things, planting seeds and releasing the old, worn and tired.  For example, there is the story of the Roman god Mithras, which is similar to the tale of Jesus Christ and his resurrection.

“ Born at the winter solstice and resurrected in the spring, Mithras helped his followers ascend to the realm of light after death. In one legend, Mithras, who was popular amongst members of the Roman military, was ordered by the Sun to sacrifice a white bull. He reluctantly obeyed, but at the moment when his knife entered the creature’s body, a miracle took place. The bull turned into the moon, and Mithras’ cloak became the night sky. Where the bull’s blood fell flowers grew, and stalks of grain sprouted from its tail.”

In the Mayan culture, at Chichen Itza, spring equinox is most certainly celebrated (I have been there for this, very cool!)   It’s called – The Snake of Sunlight Last but not least let’s look at the Iranian New Year, which is called No-Rooz, and happens at exactly the same time.  Again, spring cleaning occurs and an altar is set up.

So in my world, no matter where you are on this planet – equinox time is about balance & harmony.  Also, celebration! So whether you just take a moment to light a candle and say thanks, go kite flying,  gift a friend with a crystal (I highly recommend Aventurine, Carnelian, Peridot or Sunstone), buy yourself some spring flowers and pop them where you can see them, light a fire and have friends over for a celebration, it doesn’t matter.  But I do invite you to do something, even if it is just writing with a Sharpie on an egg!

But why an egg?  The egg (and all seeds) contains ‘all potential’, full of promise and new life. It symbolises the rebirth of nature, the fertility of the Earth and all creation. In many traditions the egg is a symbol for the whole universe. The ‘cosmic’ egg contains a balance of male and female, light and dark, in the egg yolk and egg white. The golden orb of the yolk represents the Sun God enfolded by the White Goddess, perfect balance, so it is particularly appropriate to Ostara and the Spring Equinox when all is in balance for just a moment, although the underlying energy is one of growth and expansion.

Grab a cuppa tea and let’s share a story, about the hare and the egg, courtesy of The Goddess and The Greenman.

Once upon a time the Animal Kingdom gathered together for a meeting in a flurry of great excitement. There was to be a Very Special Party and a Very Special Guest was coming to visit them. The Very Special Guest was none other than the Goddess herself, and every creature wanted to give her a Very Special Gift.

Now some of the animals were very rich and some were very poor but off they went to prepare their gifts, for only the very very best would do for the Goddess. Hare was very very excited, he dearly loved the Goddess and although he was very poor he had a big generous heart – he was going to give her the very finest gift he could find!

Hare rushed home to see what he could find to give to the Goddess – he looked everywhere, in the cupboards and under the bed but there was nothing, even the larder was empty, he had absolutely nothing to give Her. Except for one thing. On the shelf in the larder was a single egg. And that was it. It was the only thing he had left. Hare gently took the egg out of the larder and lovingly decorated it and took it to the party.

Hare was very worried, all the other animals gave their gifts of gold and silver and precious jewels and all Hare had was the egg. Eventually all the gifts had been given and Hare was the very very last. Hare very shyly presented the Goddess with the egg. She took it and looked at him and saw the true spirit of Hare. And there and then the Goddess appointed Hare as her Very Special Animal – because Hare had given away everything he had…….

I’ve created a grounding recording as before I do any type of ritual (or when I feel tweaky), I ground.  I send my roots down into the earth (as seeds do in Spring) and pull up the glorious supportive, nourishing energy.

So what are some easy and inexpensive rituals to really embrace the energy of Ostara?

Okay, I have so many!  However, let me share with you a few of my favourites.

Blessing Bowl

Seeds of Intention

Buy a few bulbs or a packet of seeds.  Anything colorful and exuberant will do.  Write on slips of paper all the things you would like to blossom and grow over the coming season.  (Love? Prosperity? A new job? All of the above? It’s up to you. These are your wishes after all.) Then take those slips and pop them in the bottom of a pot, pop the dirt on top and plant your seeds.  Be sure to give them lots of good energy, light and love to help them grow!

Light a Candle and Blow it Out

What?  You may be thinking – Jenny it’s not my birthday, what???  The element of Spring is Air, and what better way to play with Air than with your breath.  Thus, light a candle (green or yellow would be great), but if you don’t have one of those, use what you have or smear it with a Sharpie!  Grab a candle. Light it. Then breathe, breathe deep into your roots and before you exhale allow the “blaugh” (as I call it) to come to mind.  Anything that is not serving you or your highest good. As you exhale let that flood out on your breathe and blow the candle out. Light it again and repeat for however long you need to.  Know you are connecting with the element of Air, releasing the heavy thoughts and coat of winter and bringing the light back. (So much fun to do with kids).

So there we go gorgeous one, have a fabulous Ostara and for those of you who have been asking, there is a Equinox reading special for just 4 more days.  You can find it  here.

The game that she always wanted to play with everyone was Boggle, as she loved words.

She would often cheat and try to plausibly pass off a word.

Thus, one of the ways I’ve honoured her today on the first deathaversary was to make hourglasses filled with some of her ashes and glitter.

One for each of the grandchildren so she can always participate in games.

Remember that the only guarantee you have is today.

So please love like a mother trucker, apologise, do the things you want to and celebrate every breath.

The Solstice asks us to stop, to witness ourselves, and to honour the journey we’ve walked so far this year.

Ready to come play?

I don’t worry so much about people “liking or I don’t worry so much about people “liking or approving” of me.

But if I met a doggo that didn’t like me that would pull me up short!

My doggos like most people, but when they don’t, I pay attention as they sense things I don’t.
