March Magic: Birth, Blood Moons & Building Resilience!

Dear Glorious Soul,

Whoot! Whoot!  March is here and I am thrilled (trust me if you could see the happy dance I am doing you would laugh).

It’s the first Monday of March (frigging love March), as we head to Spring Equinox, we are slowly coming out of hibernation, the flowers are popping up and there is that sense of promise and hope in the air.  (Aren’t those delicious words right now?)

Why am I so pumped about March – because Spring Equinox is almost here!!!  Now you may be shaking your head and thinking – yeah, so what Jenn.  Oh little one, Spring Equinox is a huge energetic time as it’s the time of Birth.  The Birth of ideas, goals, desires and dreams – it is positively delicious.

Now you be thinking – I don’t have the energy for that as the world feels like it is in chaos.  I totally get it, as yes, there is a lot of fear, chaos, and downright garbage being pumped out.

However, more than ever this is the time to Birth the new, the communities, the dreams and that is where Resiliency comes in.

As to step into our power and our gifts we have to be practicing resilience more than ever in today’s climate!

What does it mean to be resilient?

Resilience means being able to adapt to life’s misfortunes and setbacks. 

To stand in your centre from a place of truth and Sovereignty and calm whilst chaos swirls around you.  

Funnily enough for the last couple of months this theme has been coming in and offering me insights.  

Then in the wee hours of March 1st (the White Rabbit day in my world), I woke up at 2am and got a massive download about Resiliency.  

So with the approaching Equinox – the time of Birth, desires and dreams.  It seems the perfect time to offer a glorious course that can be done as a home study or as a group study on Resilience.

And by Resilience I mean, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and most certainly the nervous system!

What does it mean, how to embody it and how to integrate it into your day to day so that you hold your centre, stand in your truth and Sovereignty and move forward with calm and ease.

So keep your eyes peeled (such a gross expression, where does it even come from?!), as there will be more information coming.

This week we have a Blood Moon Eclipse in Virgo.

Blood Moon Eclipses are incredibly potent cosmic events. They shake and rattle the fabric of our being, bringing endings, changes, and sudden shifts. They fast-track our growth and help accelerate any transformation already underway.

On March 3, we experience the final in a series of Blood Moon Eclipses that began last year. Blood Moon Eclipses tend to arrive in a set of three, and this is the third and final of the trio that started back in March 2025.

This final Blood Moon acts as a point of culmination and resolution. 

Virgo energy encourages refinement and simplicity, helping us separate what is essential from what is no longer necessary. Under this Eclipse, we may feel called to simplify our lives in both practical and emotional ways.

Virgo reminds us that healing often happens through small and steady changes.

Virgo energy also highlights our mind-body connection, so this Eclipse may heighten our awareness of how stress or emotions have been stored physically and where we may be pushing too hard. We may feel called to support ourselves through rest, nourishment, or gentle care.

To practice Resiliency!

The March energy is about coming from the Heart (which is key energy in this 1/10 year).

The heart needs to take the reins and, using its intuitive intelligence, then set a direction that is aligned with your emotional truth and values. 

Which totally ties in with Equinox and living from a place of Resiliency!

Okay, enough chuntering on, let’s go meet your guides for this week.

So darling one, just relax for a moment.  Give your shoulders a wiggle, move your jaw from side to side and take a glorious deep breath in and then sigh it out.  With the energy of March swirling around you, breathe into your heart.  See it strong, calm, true and at ease.  Then when you are ready pick the card or cards that make you tingle.

VAST VISTAS

Nomads, Steppes of Mongolia

We are visiting Mongolian nomads on the plateau of central Asia, an area currently landlocked between China and Russian Siberia.

Here, the sky is incredibly expansive.  It feels like we can see forever on these vast vistas.

We feel a sense of freedom here as we travel with a tribe following their reindeer.  These nomadic people have lived here for thousands of years, migrating the immense grassy plains, mountainous regions, upland steppes, and deserts of Mongolia.

Every time we stop, we set up a camp.  In the middle of the night, when we step outside the yurt, it seems that there can be no other place with such a vast expanse of the heavens.

In the morning, as we stomp our feet on the ground to warm up, the horizons seem to stretch in every direction, seemingly all the way to eternity.

Widen your horizons to see the bigger picture.

This is not the time to think small.  Think outside the box.

There is the potential of big changes ahead.  Be willing to be unconventional in projects, relationships, and ideas.  Know that you can choose any direction you desire, but before you go forward, look in all directions to see the potential outcomes.

Vast vistas are ahead for you.  It’s easy to get caught up in the small details of life and forget the bigger view.  

This is a time of expansion and even a time of travel and new adventures.

If you receive an opportunity to travel, go for it.

If you can step into a different direction in life, don’t hesitate.

COURAGE

Vikings in the New World

What an exciting adventure!  We’ve landed in Newfoundland around the year 1000 C.E to visit the newly arrived Vikings.  

We’re here with Leif Eriksson, watching his people prepare the foundations of a new settlement.  As we walk through their community, we’re impressed by the vigor, physical strength, and grace of these men and women.

It seems to radiate from the center of their being.

What remarkable courage these early settlers had to cross the Atlantic Ocean in their longships – open-air, wooden boats – during huge storms and inclement weather.

They set forth without certainty about where they would land or when they’d get there.

Guided by the stars, the winds, and their connection to their gods, they travelled forward into the unknown.

There are times to hold back and deliberate about life, and times to move forward with passion, power and daringness.

If there is something you wanted to do or say or act upon, now is the time to go forward.  

Don’t back down; face your fears.

Act on your impulse now, and success will follow.

Being courageous doesn’t mean that you are not at all afraid.  Being fearless means just that – to fear less.  There are no certainties about the outcomes, but be willing to take a risk and step forward anyway.

Be resolute in honouring your truth, and speak up for yourself.  Live with passion!

As a warrior of the light, you must step beyond self imposed limitations to be a way shower for others.

Through you, others will be inspired to find and act upon their truth.

Trust that you are unstoppable.

EXPANSION

Planet Jupiter

Today we are time travelling to the planet Jupiter.  What a ride it is!

As we land, we can feel our muscles strengthening in its strong gravity field.  

Even though Jupiter is physically uninhabitable by humans, the mystic energy here is remarkable.  You and I are both in awe of Jupiter’s 79 incredible moons.

Everything feels so stunningly expansive – understandably so, as this planet is 318 times as massive as our own planet.  

In Roman mythology, the god Jupiter, for whom the planet was named, was considered to be sky god and king of the gods.  (In Greek mythology, he was known as Zeus.)

In astrology, Jupiter is connected with principles of growth, expansion, healing, prosperity, good fortune, and miracles.

Your life is expanding in profound and wondrous ways.

Vitality and wide open opportunities are at hand.  Focus on what you desire to increase in your life, and let it flow to you.  Timing is everything, and the time is now, so seize the day!

Anything and everything is possible.

If there is anything in your life that you want to expand, this is the time to nurture it.

Good fortune, growth, expansion, healing, prosperity, and miracles await you.

Activate this escaping power and activity by believing that anything is possible……..and it is.

Cold Nights, Soft Hearts, Strong Spine.

Dearest Gentle Reader,

(Yes… I’m still loving how that sounds.)

We are at the tail end of February and holy hannah — what a whizz-bang of a month. The collective feels noisy, tender, chaotic. Winds whipping. Opinions flying. Hearts a little frayed.

And here on the West Coast, Mumma Nature is putting on her own dramatic flair. Temperatures have dropped, atmospheric rivers are rolling in, and it is properly cold and wet. The kind of cold that seeps into your bones when you’re out walking the doggos and the rain is coming at you sideways.

And yet… I get to come home.

I get to turn on the kettle.

I get to peel off wet layers and wrap myself in warmth.

What if you can’t?

February 28th marks The Coldest Night of the Year Walk — a national movement that began in 2011 to raise funds and awareness for homelessness and poverty. The funds support local charities doing the real, gritty, heart-forward work: food, clothing, shelter, programmes, dignity.

On Valentine’s Day, I walked through encampments handing out little love packages of cookies. I listened to stories. Hard stories. An elderly couple in their 80s, newly on the street because their rent was tripled. Let that land.

There is no turning away once you’ve looked into someone’s eyes.

It reminds me how profoundly blessed I am. How blessed most of us are. And how fragile “security” can be.

Community is not optional. It is essential.

Smile at someone.

Have the conversation.

Offer what you can — even if it is simply your time and presence.

We are interconnected whether we acknowledge it or not.

(Alright, stepping gently off my soapbox now.)

And as if the earthly weather wasn’t enough, the cosmic weather is also shifting.

Mercury stations retrograde from February 26 to March 20 — entirely in mystical Pisces.

But this one feels different.

Not chaotic. Not glitchy. Not “hide your emails.”

More like: descend inward.

When Mercury retrogrades in Pisces, we are invited beneath the surface — into dreams, intuition, memory, and the subtle realms. This isn’t about fighting delays; it’s about listening more deeply.

The question becomes:

What spiritual insight needs revisiting so my intuition can clarify?

And this retrograde doesn’t stand alone.

It unfolds in the heart of eclipse season — revelation energy.

It follows the rare Saturn–Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries on February 20th — dissolving old structures and seeding entirely new paradigms.

It swims fully in Pisces — amplifying sensitivity and access to the unseen.

There is profound shifting happening. Above. Below. Within.

If February has felt turbulent, perhaps it is not chaos — perhaps it is recalibration.

Both the earthly cold and the cosmic tides are asking the same thing:

Come back to what matters.

Care for one another.

Listen deeply.

Anchor in compassion.

We walk each other home.

2026: The Year the Fire Finds You.

Can you feel it?

There is a crackle in the air. A hum under the surface. That sense that something is shifting — not in a dramatic crash-and-bang way — but in a quiet, inevitable of course this is happening way.

2026 is not arriving politely. It is walking in through a Ring of Fire.

On February 17th we have the Aquarius Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse — and honestly? If ever there was a cosmic moment that whispered (and maybe shouted), expect the unexpected, this is it.

And as if that wasn’t enough, we enter the Year of the Yang Fire Horse on the very same day. Fire upon fire.

Oh my giddy aunt.

The Ring of Fire: A Doorway, Not a Disaster

A Ring of Fire Eclipse leaves that luminous halo of light around the shadow. The Sun is partially veiled, but not extinguished. There is illumination in the darkness.

And that feels important.

This Eclipse begins a new Aquarius–Leo cycle that will unfold over the next 18 months. If you think back to 2017–2019, you may see echoes. Themes revisiting. But you are not the same woman. Not the same soul.

You’ve shed. You’ve survived. You’ve grown teeth where you once had tremble.

Uranus — planet of awakening and plot twists — is active here. So yes, there may be surprises. Sudden clarity. Doors closing abruptly so others can open.

But this doesn’t feel chaotic to me.

It feels catalytic.

Like the first stone being placed on a path that hasn’t fully formed yet. You can sense it. You don’t yet see the whole road. But something has begun.

The Softness Inside the Flame

What I love about this particular Eclipse is that woven through the fire is healing.

There is a gentle current asking us to slow down. To go outside. To place our hands on the earth. To listen to our dreams. To tend to our bodies like they matter — because they do.

Nature holds medicine this year. Your intuition holds medicine this year.

Ask yourself:

  • What truly replenishes me?
  • Where am I exhausted?
  • Where am I burning too hot?
  • Where am I barely glowing at all?

Adventure doesn’t always mean hopping on a plane. Sometimes it’s sending the email. Joining the group. Hosting the gathering. Having the honest conversation.

Tiny brave acts. Repeated.

Setting Intentions Under the Eclipse

Solar Eclipses are like supercharged New Moons — but this one asks for open palms.

Instead of rigid goals, try:

“Strengthen me for what is emerging.”
“Help me recognize the door when it opens.”

Sometimes the most powerful intention is simply willingness.

OUR LADY OF RIPENING ON THE VINE

“I ask you to surrender your future thinking to me.  Although your future contains the promise of great blessings, do not let this distract you from the blessing I bestow upon you in this moment.  I ask you to open your arms to my blessings in the here and now.  You are the sweet fruit, heavy on the vine.  The time for harvest has come.  This is your time.”

Many of us who love the Holy Mother are dreamers.  We might be practical and hard-working, attending to the details of daily life and spiritual consciousness, but we have hope in our hearts.

Yet that hope may be for the future – our future, that of our children, of our planet.

This hope is a precious light that is needed in the world.  Yet our light of hope is also needed in the here and now.  

We need to be living the Divine now, not only dreaming of a more divinely aligned life in a fantasy of the future.

Live your light now; to benefit yourself and the world with your presence.  Now.  Yes, we are always growing, yet there is a readiness within you now.  

There is something within you, something of you, that is ready.  Even if the immediate reality doesn’t match a fantasy that you have once held about how life would be when you would finally share more of yourself with the world, you are still ready and this is your time to shine.  

The Mother asks you to honour the light that is ignited within you now, and to act upon it with utter faith.  The dreamers are needed in this present moment, you see.

We can help the sacred becoming, the healing of the world according to the Divine Mother’s grace, by how we choose to be at this time.  

Now is the time to trust.  There is so much waiting for you in this moment.  

Gather your harvest.  Let your divine inheritance come to you now, as naturally as fruit ripening on the vine.

You are needed.  

OUR LADY OF THE RESURRECTION

“The eternal light dwells in my heart and as you enter into my heart, held safe in my love for  you, that light becomes visible to you.  It will show you the way through any darkness, and help you understand the purpose of past suffering, so that you can let it go and be at peace, free from confusion, shame or doubt.  There is divine purpose within all that is.  You have been struggling and now it is time for rest.  Step into the light of my heart now, beloved, and let the darkness go.  The time is drawing near for your resurrection and release.”

It is a strange paradox that when we are truly open to life, we must be prepared to die many deaths before it is time for our physical life to end.  

We might suffer the deaths of relationships, of ideals, of identities, even of certain hopes and dreams.  If we can mourn these deaths, give them proper attention and due acknowledgment, grieving in whatever way is respectful and truthful, then those deaths become sacred sacrifices on the altar of new life.

If we try to rush past these many deaths, pushing them to one side out of fear that they may mean something terrible or frightening, then we will suffer more than needs be.

Perhaps we become fearful if we feel that we are not in control of life and cannot prevent its powerful unfolding, because we do not trust where life is leading us.  Then too, we miss our chance to make a sacrifice and feel more connected with life, and with death as a natural part of life.

We don’t need to be scared, we can accept that they are signs that we are growing and life is flowing.  We can even use them to gain confidence that a new direction, a new life, is calling us.  There is always so much more to come.  Always.  No matter how old we may be, or how jaded we may feel at times, there is always boundless life awaiting us.  All that is needed is a willingness for us to be open to receiving it.  

Let Our Lady of Resurrection lift you up from even the deepest sorrow and gently urge you into new light, new understanding, and new life.

Take heed, beloved, your time of darkness is swiftly drawing to a close and a new day is soon to be upon you.

Breathe, trust, embrace.

OUR LADY OF THE ROSE CROWN

“You are my child and a royal divine being.  I protect  your spiritual deeping now, as you descend further into the living divine heart, and know all to be love.  As the mysteries reveal themselves to you now, divine rapture awaits you.  I shall keep you grounded and authentic, productive in the world that needs your light, even as I guide you into ecstatic communion with  your holy nature.”

No matter where we think we are on our spiritual path, there is always somewhere, and something deeper to experience.  

You are about to enter into another level of spiritual experience.  This new level will be appropriate and healing for you – taking you naturally along in your spiritual progress.

What might be suitable for another is unlikely to be exactly right for you.  Our Lady watches over you with all knowing tenderness and fierce protection.  Only what you need, will come to you.  

In order to be prepared, we might have to be challenged in a relationship that really stretches or breaks our heart.  In that situation we are learning to love more unconditionally, to either let the relationship go or stay with it, depending on what is right for us.  

We might experience weeks, months or even  years of not really knowing, with any certainty, if we are on the right path or living the life we are supposed to be living.  In that continued crisis, we are learning how to remain present, to remain open and to learn to trust, even in the absence of clarity.  

Or perhaps everything in our life seems to be upside down; a loved one is struggling, or our own inability to resolve an issue that has troubled us deeply for some time, and is causing us to feel almost unbearable anguish.

No matter what the crisis or challenge, the way that we learned to respond and grow through it provided us with the development that we needed to be able to sustain the next level of divine experience.  

Love is the most powerful force in our universe.  It is in everything and reveals itself in unlimited ways.  

To encounter this love, to be open to it, ready to receive it and be changed, illuminated, irradiated by it.

Our Lady of the Rose Crown comes to tell you that you have been in preparation and now the time is fast approaching, or is already upon you, whereby you are opening to more divine realisation.  No matter what you may initially think, what you are being shown right now is more of the divine in its mysterious, creative, funny and unfathomable genius.

You truly are a magnificent royal child of the Divine.  Own it!

Wowzer, wowzer, wowzer – you can’t make this shit up! I invite you to allow your feelings to rise and be released, cleanse your heart and your mind and remember – you are here for a reason!  There is something you are meant to share, so please do.

Gorgeous Soul,

As I sat down to write this reading, my guides barged in with a full-on soundtrack of love songs — the kind your parents used to belt out in the kitchen. “Love is in the air…” Tina Turner rocking “What’s love got to do with it?” — and a shed ton more. Apparently subtlety was not on the agenda.

I thought I was going to write about Valentine’s Day — how it’s largely a made-up celebration that Hallmark, chocolate makers, and rose sellers are doing very well from, thank you very much.

Well.

My spiritual posse gave me a firm energetic smack-down. And when they smack, I pay attention. So this isn’t going where I expected — stick with me… or don’t. Your choice. 😉

We’re in a potent moment right now. We are in the final week of the Year of the Snake, standing at the threshold of Chinese New Year, with a Solar Eclipse approaching. This is shedding energy. Threshold energy. Old skins cracking. Truth rising.

A deep invitation to look at what — and who — we are loving.

Yes, in Western culture Valentine’s Day is in full swing. Shops are overflowing with glittery hearts, a single rose costs the price of a small mortgage, and chocolate has mysteriously shot up by what feels like 35%.

And if I’m honest? Valentine’s Day has always irritated me a bit — not because I don’t believe in love, but because I don’t understand why we’ve reduced something so vast to a single, commercial day… and why it’s mostly focused on romantic love.

What about the rest of it?

What if you’re not in a romantic relationship?
What if you’ve lost your partner?
What about love for friends, family, community, nature, spirit… and most importantly — yourself?

Because here’s the truth: without self-love — real, grounded, nourishing love — you have nothing solid to build from. And let’s clear this up right now…

Self-love is not selfish.

A client once told me they felt guilty taking time for themselves — as though nurturing their own body and spirit was indulgent. It isn’t. It’s foundational.

Self-love is tending your mind, your body, and your spirit. It’s choosing practices that light you up instead of drain you. It’s honouring what excites you, nourishes you, and brings you back home to yourself.

Okay dear heart, just settle into yourself.  Allow your breath to find its natural rhythm.  Just breathe into all the corners of your glorious being, and allow in your mind’s eye a glorious vortex to start swirling.  As it opens, see it filled with love, all sorts of love and allow it to soothe you and to remind you that you are love incarnate.  Then when you’re ready pick the card or cards that dance around your heart.

You are here to march to your own beat.  You can be happy and free, whether the world looks at you with awe, admiration, confusion or love – or all of these at once.

Normal is not for you.  Don’t be afraid of that!  Deep down you are the good kind of crazy, an individual.  You would never be happy trying to be the same as everyone else!  You have an inner sense of justice and a need to question authority when it doesn’t earn your respect.  This may make some people uncomfortable, whilst it inspires others to think for themselves and not automatically assume that everything they are told is correct.  We need more of this in our world!

You are a free thinker with a different point of view to most people.  This isn’t a sign that something is wrong with you, but a sign of something special – a gift to see and express things differently.  The world needs much more of that too!

You can choose right now to feel good about yourself.  If you’ve been beating yourself up, stop it now.  Don’t let anyone else decide how you should feel about yourself.  Taking responsibility for your actions means that when you have done something that you feel is out of integrity, you do something about it that is constructive and useful.  Shaming yourself with judgement, or allowing another to steal your self-esteem, is neither of those things.

The Divine Mother is telling you to forgive yourself and use your energy not to live the best life that you can.  It’s time to take your life back.

You are one tough sweetheart, a spiritual gangster,a  beautiful bandit, stealing back from the unworthy that which rightfully belongs with you.  You have certain spiritual rights that cannot be denied you.  Your dignity, power and grace, your sense of beauty and self-esteem, your chosen belief systems, your energy and your right to take up space in this world rightfully belong to your soul.  Your faith in your spiritual connection with the Universe and your sense of your life purpose belong to your soul, too.  So do your joy, your laughter and your enjoyment of life, your belief in your own purity of heart and the goodness of your own being.  Your right to love yourself is owned by your soul, too.  

Even when you make mistakes, the great Mother loves and forgives you, knowing that you are doing your best and are her precious one.  You have a spiritual right to be free from torment, cruelty and mental anguish.  You alone own the right to choose your thoughts and claim your freedom to make your own choices.  You are fierce with wisdom.  

Anything that you feel has been taken from you unfairly shall be taken back by you.  Claim what is yours by spiritual right.  

PEACOCK PRIESTESS

Daily life can get us down before we even realise what is happening. Trying to do it all can push us beyond our limits, draining our energy and stealing our joy.

One moment, we are on top of the world; the next moment, we wonder what happened and why we cannot rally our spirit. If we do not learn how to rest, exhaustion, crankiness and illness eventually force our hand. It takes longer to break down and recover – and is much more painful than it is to learn to rest as part of our lifestyle.

Rest is not only a way to prevent unnecessary suffering, it also has its own value. When we are in restful quiet, we can hear our inner voice and the guidance of spirit much more clearly. We can feel gratitude and take delight in what brings us pleasure. Rest is part of how we live well.

Peacock Priestess reminds you that you can see taking rest as an act of love and a way to be a good role model. Don’t allow guilt or shame to stop you from taking delight in your downtime. What kind of rest you need will vary. It could be a long nap, painting, listening to music, writing poetry or practicing meditation, a bath with candles, visiting a temple or church to sit quietly , working in your garden, playing with animals or going for a walk and being in nature, soaking up her beautiful healing energy.

There are many ways to rest. Try some. Find out what you enjoy.

If you feel impatient for something to happen – or worried that you are not accomplishing all that you want to achieve quickly enough – then take heart.

The Universe is working with you, not against you, to bring your dreams to life. Even times when not much seems to be happening are a part of this creative process, balancing out other times when energy becomes active and intense.

What will be most helpful for you and your dreams right now is to rest. During that pleasurable rest, behind the scenes, some spiritual magic is going to be created.

When Winter Softens: Imbolc, Rest & the Seeds of What’s Next, and a Gift.

Hello, and happy February!

I have been quiet since Solstice as that was what my Soul asked me to do.

The world is very, very loud right now, so there were a few things I stepped back from – and the readings was one.

However, I didn’t step back from my amazing clients, playing in the Omen Days and creating, but the feeling of needing to cocoon was intense as has been the shedding (remember we are in the last few weeks of the year of the Snake!)

And I don’t know about you but the last two months have been shedding galore, physically, mentally, spiritually, materialistically – you name it! Talk about being pared down!

But think about Snake energy, this is the Shakti, the Divine Feminine in Kundalini, and as the Snake sheds it skin it moves with ease and grace out of the Old.

Which is where the energy of Imbolc comes in. 

So let’s explore the energies of this mid winter time, Imbolc. 

I have a glorious gift to support you at this time.  If you read on, you will understand why I created her for you.  

Imbolc was yesterday on Sunday, February 1st and marks the spot of mid-winter.  

The mid place between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox.  This time of year can feel rather heavy, grey and drab in many ways, but………

Imbolc marks the very first stirrings of new life.  It is a time of bitter weather and biting winds.  The days may have been growing longer since the Winter Solstice but it often seems like winter is now at its harshest.

The long cold nights of January often weary the spirits and fierce storms are common in February.  Yet look closely and glimmers of change can be found in the new buds on the trees and the green shoots of early spring flowers breaking through the frozen earth.  

Imbolc brings in the delicious energy which invites you to gently awaken and start planning your new seeds for the year.

And I want you to ask yourself  – what are your seeds going to be?

What is your Truth?  What do you Desire?  (This isn’t about what your mind says you “should do”, it’s about what your heart and soul are calling you to do).  Those are two powerful questions to ask yourself and then listen to the whispers that arise.  

I love the energy of Imbolc, it’s gentle, inviting and nurturing.  It’s a time of AWAKENING.

Not a TO DO Awaken, but a gentle stirring, a slight flexing and a big stretch. 

From the hibernation of Winter we oh so gently move into the hope of a spring to come, something new and delightful.  From the dark cocoon, we peek to see if things have changed.  

Imbolc’s invitation is to teach us how to hold both truths at once.

It doesn’t ask us to bloom. It asks us to prepare in the deep knowing that what is forced in Winter, grows fragile in Spring.

Spiritually, this is a time of new life coming into manifestation. We may only be seeing the tiniest hints of life above the surface but things are really beginning to stir in the darkness.

So come back to the questions – What is Your Truth?  What do you Desire?

At Imbolc, we’re beginning to really realise, something is shifting in our lives. 

Imbolc itself means “quickening in the belly”.  There is something shifting and changing.  

We are beginning to root a bit more into this year of 2026 with its delicious 1/10 energy and we are expanding in some way. (Whether you can see it or not – can’t you feel it, though?) And there is a lot of resistance that comes with big expansion.

There’s a whole lot of forces (internal and external) that want to keep you small. It’s scary to level up in your life – and there are really strong parts of us that don’t like that.

But this is the work of winter: Winter is where you integrate all your experiences from last year & it alchemizes into new life, new growth, new parts of you that will emerge in the weeks & months ahead.

Right now there’s a stretching & growing happening deep within you. (Even if you can’t see it, it’s there!) And that can be deeply uncomfortable. Depending on the shifts you’re making in your life, the resistance can be intense.

And it creates a conflict within you. This is where the question arises: do you have the strength & the courage to push through that resistance, to whatever’s on the other side? Or do you give in & lean back on old ways of operating?

This is the challenge and invitation at Imbolc.

If things feel hard for you right now, trust it’s because you are peeling back the layers.

You’re doing big work in your life (even if you can’t see it, yet) and you’re going to feel resistance to that.

At Imbolc, this is when the seeds of your life are created and planted….

So remember to take sweet, gentle care of yourself right now. Nurture yourself, nourish your spirit. And REST, sweet one. Just rest. We are still in winter. This is your most important work.

Let me be a reminder to be true to yourself, to your own personal truths, to the code within your soul.  Truly, at this time it is essential for you to let your conscience be your guide, and to live according to your own creed, with open eyes. 

Do not fool yourself into believing another person’s vision and ideas are more important than your own – question agendas, and be aware of people’s history. 

For at this time, there is one about you who is attempting to persuade you to their cause, to join them in what they see is a great task, but which in truth is simply a harnessing of your power to their agenda, which is not for your highest good.

All tricksters are charming and know exactly what to say to persuade you – but this is mere language.  Their deeds will not match their words, and what you are agreeing to by joining with them will be a loss of your own personal dreams for the furthering of theirs. 

If you allow yourself to be coerced, cajoled, and manipulated at this time, it will weigh heavily on your very soul.  

Be more wary than is natural for you at this time.  Do not betray yourself, or ignore the warning signs, which are all about you.  Do not foolishly give away your power, but exercise it, and weave a future that is truly the one you wish to create – one, which will provide you with honour, plenty, and the satisfaction of having been true to yourself. 

FAERY GODMOTHER

When the Faery Godmother comes to you, be aware that this is a time when you will discover what has been long hidden to you – your true self will be revealed in surprising ways every day, and sudden moments of heightened perception will make this time especially significant for you.

People finally get found out, manipulators can be seen through, true costs of circumstances are revealed, and any lies about you will be seen. 

This can be hard, but it is truly a hardship that is born of protection – you are safer for knowing in whom you can trust in order to make the right choices for your soul.

Throughout these revelations and insights will be a guiding hand – and this is the Faery Godmother.  She is showing you what it is you need to know in order to create and foster a life that works for you – and she is a protective force too.

So what you need will come to you, sometimes in strange ways.  Be mindful of counting your blessings at this time – for this is the energy your Faery Godmother can draw upon to keep transforming your life into one which is more abundant, magickal, meaningful, and joyful.

You are ready to take great chances, and others may even judge you as being about to take crazy risks.  You may be contemplating leaving a safe job, about to travel, enter a new relationship wholeheartedly, or make a move in life without having examined all the consequences.

You are curious, enquiring, and open hearted.

You are inquisitive, but you are no fool.  You are an initiate, and you will therefore take risks as you face the unknown.

Your next steps into the mystery of life will be blessed, and you have the courage to now enter the unknown.
